skins... SKINS.... SKINS!!11!!1!1!! (long yap incoming... esp Shedletsky skins...) (also these r all based on my gameplay so. if any of these skins act this way to u in Forsaken, thats prob me!!!11!11!1)

Agent Skins (Most of these hcs are based off of my gameplay... yippee...):

They're basically an AU of the four (Guest 1337, Chance, 007n7, and Builderman) if they were agents. Duh. But their goal in Forsaken is to protect their "Escorts" in any way they can and make them last until the end of the round. Boss Two Time is their... well, boss, and sends them out in these missions and assigns them their Escorts.

Escorts are often as follows (again, based on my gameplay...): Any Milestone Elliot Skin, Telamon, Guardian Angel Shedletsky, Vampire Shedletsky, Rockstar Shedletsky, Milestone III-IV Shedletsky, Red Carpet Guest (don't ask how), VIP Noob, Boss Two Time, Alien Skins, Golden Skins, ULTRAKILL Skins, LOVESHOT! Dusekkar, Inaba Taph, etc.

Red and Blue? Haha, they're different teams. They're constantly competing on getting the Escort to safety. The Blue Agents (mainly Chance) say they're better since they can protect the Escort head on, while the Red Agents say they're better since they're strategic and can protect the Escort and THEMSELVES.

Agent!007n7 and Escort!Elliot are on... rough terms, to say the least, but n7 always tries his best to protect the other and make it up to him.

Chance keeps flirting with the Escorts, but Guest always smacks him in the back of the head and tell him to pay attention to his job.

007n7 uses his clones + inject to body block for the Escorts, while he himself gets them to safety. Some of the Escorts freak out in seeing "n7" run head first to the killer just to protect them, but soon realize it's just a clone and he's A-OKAY!!!

The Agents were sent there for "SnR" (Search and Rescue) missions, but it eventually turns into "Search and Retrive" missions if their Escort dies. Yeah.

Based off one of my gameplays but uhh. The map was Glasshouses (so there weren't any items that spawned), and Elliot was in LOWWWW LOW health, I'm telling you this man was hanging on by a THREAD. And 007n7 was on duty and trying his best to make sure he wasn't going to bleed out. When he noticed Jason was running towards them, he tried his best to body block but uh. Jason pushed him aside and executed Elliot. Basically. n7 had to watch his own Escort die in front of him, knowing he couldn't do anything, and just ran away crying. (i was that n7 i fear... i felt so guilty UAGHUAHGUAHGUHG)

Another thing based on my gameplay: Red Carpet!Guest (who i'll be referring to as RC!Guest from now on) as the Escort was a REALLY really great sentinel, but he kept getting "punished" since he often missed his hits. 007n7 stuck near him and hid behind walls and made sure he was doing alright. They lost each other at some point, but n7 found a medkit but he was on full health so he was like "Oh, lemme just see who needs healing!" and looked over to the Character UI (the one that makes you see everyone's status) and saw RC!Guest was DANGROUSLY close to dying, so he RAN across the map trying to find him. Eventually he found him and gave him the medkit and they became gay and fell in love and kissed/j (that didnt actually happen, RC!Guest just said "ty" and n7 (me) said "np" BUT THATS BASICALLY WHAT HAPPENED-)

Telamon:

Often ends up being the LMS. He also tries body blocking for others, and doesn't get why they panic whenever he gets injured (he's practically a deity to them so... yeah)

He often sticks near the other Admins and makes sure they're doing alright, yanking any medkits and bloxys for the others.

Gets MAD PISSED whenever someone with low health STILL tries to loop the killer instead of running away and letting him take care of the killer.

Lwk fine.... Idk I feel like Chance would try to flirt with him even tho he's practically a deity. He doesn't mind at all and lets them do their thing.

Guardian Angel Shedletsky:

Similar to the Agent skins, he was also sent down in order to protect his "assignments", making sure they don't get injured nor killed.

Some survivors get freaked out with the wheels on his head, but he always hits them with the "Do not be afraid" quote lmfao.

He glows. Idc what anyone says HE GLOWS HE GLOWS HE GLO-

Says things like "May the divinity be with you, my child." "The Lord will forgive me for this." like IDK MAN IT FITS WITH HIS CHARACTER

Two Time is FLABBERGASTED like. They think he was sent from the Spawn to protect them and they're like "I WAS RIGHT!!! I WAS RIGHT!!! SEE I TOLD U THE SPAWN EXISTS I WAS RIGHT!!!" or smth like that idk :3. They're like really giddy and ask a ton of questions abt how "heaven" or wtv the Spawn's version of heaven is like. GA!Shedletsky doesn't know nor does he have the heart to tell them that he isn't from the Spawn, so he kinda js plays along with it.

Love that I just graduated this past fall with an associates in graphic design and unfortunately every single job posting labeled for a graphic designer I keep coming across is actually asking for:

-video editor

-animator

-UX/UI specialist/website coder

-AI tool user for aforementioned website e-commerce type job

-labeled as junior designer but posting specifies 5+ years and/or specifies they’re asking for a senior graphic designer

-retail associate but they labeled it as a designer to sound fancy

It’s getting very hard to find any jobs to even apply for, and all the jobs I’m ACTUALLY qualified for are all “please work on-site in this place that is across the country from you” so I’m stuck in Texas like….what do I do??? I can’t afford to move and I already can’t afford to work retail again because my hands have to WORK to do any art, and I can’t find any data entry remote jobs at the moment either.

I just want to design ads and/or packaging for products man, anything print and digital is fine by me, I just want a damn job.

Aside from the obvious Hatsune MISTku and blue-hair-and-pronouns jokes, I think there's actually some interesting analysis to be made around the peculiarity of MIST taking a humanoid form for her digital avatar when she's literally the only CI we see do that

I think there's something to be said about her gaining more connection to humanity through her connections to Maddie and Dave, and also digging through Caspian's memories, I personally believe her choice to adopt a humanoid avatar was in large part due to the political environment of the cloud.

As the very first CI ever, MIST is basically the representative for her entire people. And as we see from TAE-O (the big head UI) in the last two episodes, the attitude of the UIs towards the CIs is positively discriminatory. They don't value the CIs inputs nearly as much as those of UIs, they seemingly create billions of them on whim with no thought for caring for them or considering them family, and the CIs are aren't allotted the same processing power as UIs are, leaving billions on billions of them locked in stasis, effectively comatose, to give more processing power to the UIs.

When MIST talks to Caspian about the CI space program (lol), it's clear that she has a pretty bleak perspective on the CIs continuing to be treated as second-class citizens and "burdens" if they stay on earth, to the point that the CIs are planning to just start leaving Earth for good.

Faced with a cloud that refused to recognize them as full people, whether consciously or unconsciously, I believe that MIST chose a humanoid form to try and appeal to the UIs and UI admins as a political move--to try and make them see her as a person, not an alien being, to try and get them to respect her and take her more seriously.

Which is INTERESTING to me, because this also means that the UIs are treating the CIs a lot like the embodied humans treat/treated them. The UIs might think they're above the humans, more ethical, more evolved, but they're repeating the exact same mistakes--the endless struggle of "us VS them" that Olivia warned about.

OOOHHH OH YAAAAAYYY I GET TO TALK ABOUT THE LITTLE BASTARD!!! do note that this is pretty much headcannons only, they're like literally an oc at this point because they dont really have any characterization to go off of in cannon* lore <///3 *or well, downpour cannon, haven't checked vanilla's pearls in a while so unsure if there might be something about UI there. i really need to check! but basically i had gotten the idea of going off of these lines of dialogue:

i need to point out how intriguing it is that no one knows their motive for spreading images of pebbles' rot around like that...... CW assumes it was to be mean, and the others either only mention it in passing or speak of it like spreading rumors ............ which does paint an interesting picture in my head! i think UI is a very isolated, lonely thing. they were built shortly after pebbles, and for the only reason of being like a resort for especially wealthy individuals to live out the rest of their lives, specifically with lavish and beautiful void pools for ascension. thus, UI's city and council never stayed long anyways, most of the citizens were old and looking for ascension, while their council was also planning to ascend pretty soon too. no one really stuck around them for long, is what i am trying to say.........

ever since UI was activated, councilmen and administrators would be changed out pretty regularly for the aforementioned "i only came here to ascend" deal. UI would often be overlooked in favor of their city being new, luxurious, and a good place to host pre-ascension and goodbye ceremonies. UI themselves had a lot of gifts from their councilmen, who often wrote wills to their project (like in the pearl!!!). though since UI was often overlooked, their councilmen and admins only visited them to give work or to say their goodbyes....... as soon as UI got attached to one councilmen, they'd already be gone. it was unintentionally very lonely, to have the people you care about all leave you so soon, especially with barely any communications with outside iterators too (council didn't bother putting up far-reaching communication arrays, UI had to make those themselves). this all happened while UI's ai was developing, which is rather important because anything that the iterator has the capacity to interact, or anything that interacts with the iterator in their developmental stage will be a large deciding factor of how the iterator will interact with the world around them too................... and so when UI's council was one of the first in the group to all go ascend, it stung especially hard, making UI quite the bitter and angry thing!! everyone would leave them, so why would they both to keep up this fake-nice act? after this point, UI had taken on a rather confrontational, anti-sliverist, but also very curious personality. UI condemned the very purpose they were created for, as they believed it cost them their council, their FAMILY which had built them! but also UI was pretty sheltered, once again the council didn't bother introducing them to anything outside of their job with the great task and their own city, so anything and everything UI can reach is what they'll be snooping and looking and peeping at!!! though someone does need to tell UI to get their overseers out of other people's structures.... it's a little impolite!

with the new age of a lack of ancients/benefactors, comes the growing pains of UI's confrontational nature clashing with the group, they were both disliking of how much the group was close while they almost seemed like a stranger, and jealous of the almost familial closeness of the group (which they so lacked during their developmental years)....... multiple times UI would pull off odd stunts, cause trouble, or pick fights to gain attention, as if they do gain attention perhaps they'd also gain family along the way (UI is still quite young at this point, even for iterator standards..... can someone tell UI not to throw hands with nearby group members either? its also impolite!) they did that until moon had enough of them causing trouble in the group, and had attempted to explain to them that it is indeed impolite to be starting fights............ however moon was the only person to not have yelled or shoo'd UI away....... thus UI had clung to moon!! (and in the process developed quite the dislike for pebbles due to him being moon's sibling. why couldn't UI be moon's sibling?!) moon had quite the habit of overworking herself and not paying attention to her own needs in favor of keeping her group in perfect order, yet UI really hadn't caught onto that.... so UI just kept (metaphorically) following moon around, and while moon was rather busy, she didn't mind it as long as UI behaved themselves, moon had even tried to coax UI out of their hostile behavior, UI had even made honest attempts to rebuild the bridges that they never even had the chance of building before! perhaps things are starting to look up for UI, perhaps they'd finally have a family that won't leave them, especially with moon being guaranteed to never leave UI.....right?

the golden pearl incident happened, pebbles in his desperation to find the solution to the great task had taken too much water from moon! moon had unfortunately taken very limited action too soon, interrupting pebbles' experiment, which had caused him to mess up and develop rot, but we all probably know how this goes- UI had become panicked, they didn't have a lot of resources aside from now meaningless luxuries, they couldn't send anything to moon to help her, every option seemed too slow, too time-consuming, too ineffective to help moon, the only family that UI has is now threatened to be taken away once more!!! UI had witnessed moon go offline on the broadcast, they had practically yelled and begged for moon to return yet all their attempts had gotten no reply (moon's malfunctioning broadcast system just didn't receive them, and moon's over-worked and dehydrated network couldn't respond to them either), UI was forced to watch in horror how the situation unfolds worse and worse...... until something in them snapped, until something had caught their attention- UI has overseers in nearby districts quite often, especially now with their overseers being around moon's structure to see what's happening, yet one of their overseers had caught a glimpse of pebbles' structure..... with rot! UI, in a fit of rage against pebbles, had sent their overseers to get a rather good look at what the pink dude has been getting up to, yet that only further drove them into blind rage-

if pebbles is gonna take away UI's family, they'll do the same to him, they'll shame him to the entire group! and that is what they did, also going on the public (inter-group) broadcast to do the same as well .............. it only dawned on UI what they had done after the broadcasts were already sent................. they did in fact humiliate pebbles, just like how they wanted, yet the relationships they so tried to build had all crumbled in that second, fellow iterators once learning to trust UI are now back to wary, some have tried to confront UI, some had tried to ask what their reason for that is, others simply watched........ UI didn't answer the flood of broadcasts, didn't bother to say anything else publicly, didn't even apologize, they were so sure that everyone hates them now, they realized that they never had a chance at having family to begin with...... thus they slipped into indefinite isolation .......... they themselves became unreachable, their district is on lockdown to this current cycle, they are so so horribly lonely yet they spend their time blaming and beating themselves down, they had long accepted their belief that everyone wants them dead.

that is the lore i will hopefully settle on, though i never write lore down aside from rambles (almost always privately to friends, its quite nerve-wracking to ramble publicly, it seems like any mistake i make will warrant the whole internet to come after me), so the lore is quite malleable in my head!!! even lore thats three months old is already outdated lore- i am also thinking of changing their design once more, i want them to be closer to cannon, and while i am satisfied with their outfit, i do want to change their puppet up a bit !!! so i do hope you find what you're looking for in my ramble... even if its all headcannons- AS FOR WHY I LIKE THEM!!!! WELL FIRST I WAS QUITE SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT AN ITERATOR LEAKED IMAGES OF PEBBLES' ROT!!! it made me want to look for information on UI a lot, yet i never got that information in cannon- just what was their motive? why do all the others iterators never mention them? why do they also dont know their motive? whole wills were written in UI's name yet we barely get to hear about them!!!! i am so intrigued!!!! what's up with them!!!! i became rather attached to them in a search for why they are like that-

Hello, all! Hope you’re well! Thanks for your patience as we chug along.

Let’s get right into it.

UI Icons

We took a little more time on this update because a large focus this last month went to an effort at icons and style consistency, and we wanted to show you everything we’ve done. We’ve been working on filling out the entire catalogue with UI icons, and we’re basically done!

Though with this update, we’ve moved from pixels, and into an illustrative UI style. The pixel icons will still be available for forums and general decorative use, though the cat emojis got an update!

We reason that this better matches the artistic tone of the rest of the game. We’ll be inputting these onto the UI of the Closed Beta server over the next few days for testers to try out.

Wardrobe "Sandbox" Functionality

And in addition to general development, we’ve begun work on the next huge functionality push we’ll be doing, which is the “wardrobe” section. 

Users will be able to create designs, save them, and share them with others! Or keep them private!

There will also be functionality to apply any design to a cat from their customize page using items that the User already has in their inventory. 

Development Check-In

We recently performed our first maintenance wipe, and we covered a lot of ground this month. Things are looking good! We did have an issue where updating would break other functionalities, so we’ve taken the time this week to upgrade our testing suite, and this should hopefully mitigate the annoyance. We’re getting a lot of good economic data and have our bearings on what to tweak and where to go next.

We also took the time to update our admin panel, and this should tighten the pipeline for uploading accessory files, mitigating beta trial and error with improperly formatted images. We’re excited to continue improving!

Provided we get a few pesky bugs down, our big goal next week will be to start on Processing functionality; the ability to turn large items into smaller items, and to dye accessories. And in tandem, work on Pelt and Guild issues!

Looks to the Moon (Safe version)

Due to the votes on a pole I created here is a sfw version that is safe to repost. I learned from my slight error so any posts going forward will be using this version while the not so safe version is spoiled. I know the majority voted for they don't give a fuck however it's tumblir folks in the rainworld community are younger then me- by a lot sheesh some of you are still in school... An I'd rather stay on the safe side. (Headphone\ volume warning!!!!)

Quick Backstory (Short version)

Lttm is a gen 1 iterator an current senior to the Twilight local group. After the death of SOS, Moon was left feeling compelled to pick up where she left off the best she could. In this timeline Moon would not collapse like in game but instead be saved by an iterator who's can that is the first of it's kind was mobile. Along with NSH and Hunter. She could forgive Pebbles desire to escape, but she could never forgive his act of purposely ignoring her please for mercy, therefore Pebbles was exiled from the local group till further notice for not only attempted murder but the infection of the rot towards himself but her apprentice Unparalleled Innocence was affected as well. Later on she was secretly relieved the both of them had been cured by SRS an was happy to find out her brother was being looked after by Chasing Winds. This event forever tarnish, destroying everything she had ever believed in her entire life.

With a new perspective LTTM began to suspect her local group members were working against her? At first she didn't want to believe such accusations were true until NSH had hacked into their private group chat revealing they were part of the anti sliverists orchestrated by an unknown admin. Someone had premeditated this... In retaliation Moon would gather up these traitors an behead them in front of thousands of iterators during gathering, setting an example for anyone else who dared to harm her again. But the admins were not safe either for it was also discovered they to had planned her downfall so they had met the same fate essentially turning this even into the blood moon genocide.

As if it couldn't get any worse. Her UI had been the one responsible for Pebbles rot. For that, she was beheaded as well then was forced to carry out the rest of Pebbles sentence as punishment. With the weight of being admin, her lover gone, her brother traumatized, and anti- sliverists at war with each other- Something within Moon snapped! She became forever cold, merciless, relentless, and vengeful showing no remorse for anyone. Not even her own local group is safe from this iterators eternal wrath. Those below an only loyal to Moon shall not have to fear the queens endless quest for vengeance. The only goal this Moon has is to be rid the planet of anti sliverists that threaten everything she an Sliver worked so hard to create vowing to hunt down her killer if it's the last thing she'll do. Even if it means hurting the ones she cares about. For the ones that tread on stained waters will be the first to drown.

Explanation behind the design:

Look I like pogo legs but I needed this au to make sense if I'm going to be able to explain everything else. There were exactly 3 redraws of her dress as I attempted to go for a regal look but it had failed so I went for an egyptian look instead to set myself apart from the other Moons. Someone said she looked like a genie so I just rolled with it. The antlers were my attempt at matriarchy as I felt that it fit her since she is the oldest of iterators. The tail is for esthetics and for anyone wanting to draw her idrc if you don't draw it or not. The tattoo on her face on the mini casual is just a mark that only appears when she's not walking around trying to look professional.

Relations

Five Pebbles: Cares very much for him. He is recovering from cycles of isolation. Is slightly traumatized from Moon beheading UI. Has forgiven SRS.

SRS: Moon has little to no trust in Suns, she denied him admin role because of their poor mental health after exiling their abusive mentor. To her he is merely used as a means of brute force during situations where she does not want to spill blood. But on the inside she cares deeply for them nonethless worried whenever they have an explosive episode or any form of metal psychosis.

NSH: They use to be lovers before she half collapsed. Annoying as he may be Sig is the only iterator who she had given admin privileges to. However does not accept him as her equal because of memory loss. His speed is useful in keeping tabs on all the territories so nothing goes unnoticed. His two face nature and super speed makes it perfect to infiltrate places an come out unscathed.

Chasing Winds: He was the apprentice to SOS. He left the group after she died. Moon doesn't get along with him because he does not enjoy her violent tendacies creating fear setting a bad influence on the younger group members.

UI: Moon wants nothing to do with her. A lost cause and a waste of time thinking she could ever raise an iterator to one day take her role as admin.

Enlightened overturned silk: Wants dead immediately. (Keep an eye on this guy he's important)

Other local groups

Oasis local group: Allies

Zodius local group: Allies

Jaded local group: Not on good terms. Moon would rather see them dead.

Stormfall local group: Neutral due to Chasing Winds being Admin Moon wants no conflict with them.

Sliverist group: The only group she trusts to protect Slivers can. She took it upon herself to train them personally into the most lethal local group in the area an heads to Moons calls as they trust her enough to obey orders only because she was with Sliver the longest.

Anti-Sliverists: Wanta dead at all cost. Anyone who spots one are to kill them on site with no hesitation. Failure to report an a siting or incident are to be reported to Moon immediately.

Extra

The colored pearls on her antlers are her way of keeping up with who's in her local group, they're personal keepsakes that she forbids anyone from touching.

Neuron flies will forever circle her when she is wearing clothing. Otherwise they vanish when taken off. She keeps them around in case something happens an it is a means of a last resort of staying alive. They can be used an shaped into a projectile and will take one minute to reproduce a new one.

Weapon of choice: Scythe; It carries the weight of 100 leviathans. Only SOS, SRS an NSH have been the only ones known to be able to lift it off the ground.

Moon ironically can camouflage when it's dark, the downside being the ability is most weak during the day.

Morph form: Should have been obvious it's a deer.

Moon has a sister named Illuminated diamond Twilight, they're cycles older than Pebbles. Funny that her local group was named after her. Not on good terms when mentioned though.

Her antlers can retract at will, although she has to take every pearl off which is time consuming but worth it since it's just used as presentation.

If angered for to long Moon will enter a wendigo like state an will not stop until whatever had angered is either dead or has fled the area. It is recommended to not annoy her at all.
