Got some new, bright, cheerful leggings from Pop Fit. And they have pockets. There was a FB ad for 1 pair free with S&H and, for once, there was no catch, so $12 for these. I haven't worn leggings with a pattern or even color (other than black) in YEARS.
I always work so much harder in this in person class than at home via zoom. I think a combination of wood floor, more room, and other people around.

How to Do a Tabata Workout
The Tabata protocol is simple:
Choose an exercise. Any exercise can be used for Tabata, but some good choices include jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, and high knees.
Warm up for 5-10 minutes.
Perform 20 seconds of intense exercise.
Rest for 10 seconds.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for 8 rounds.
Cool down for 5-10 minutes.
If you are new to Tabata, start with 2-3 rounds and gradually increase the number of rounds as you get fitter. You can also shorten the rest periods to 5 seconds if you find that you are able to maintain the intensity of the exercise.

Workouts this week
I’m still supposed to not be walking, and I’ve been trying diligently to keep it to a minimum, so the 3X  a week Plyojam classes are done sitting or just standing still. I was very happy with how I did on Friday, lots of squats, so zero impact, but raised heart rate quite nicely. This weekend I want to get my bike out, air up the tires and give it a try, even if it’s just 10 or 15 minutes, and try to get into a habit of it, even if just short rides for now.
The list of workouts for the week is 1/2 hr of Plyojam and 1/2 hour of Yoga+ class (Yoga+ is Yoga + upper body weights + balance work)
