BELOW IS A VERY INFORMATIVE SUBMOSSION FROM AN ANON ABOUT MARIA ELENA RIOS WITH RESEARCH AND CITATIONS REGARDING HER PAST ISSUES.

These occurances, along with her late statement and its contents, have led myself and many others to voice our continued support of Tenoch Huerta.

I know a lot of you are using Google Translate, so I guess I could help by breaking down the accusations and kind of giving you a timeline I guess?

June, 2012

This happened in Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca (Where she's from)

She and her sister (Silvia Ríos Ortiz) were accused of forced entry and injuries against the victim.

The victim says she was resting in her house and Maria Elena was yelling outside her house "hija de tu puta madre sal de tu casa" (which I roughly translate as 'motherfucker get out of your house')

The victim didn't pay attention to it. María Elena entered her house, grabbed her by the hair and yelled at her sister to enter the house so they both could hit the victim.

Silvia (Maria Elena's sister) entered the house. They both grabbed her by the hair and pushed her against the wall, making her hit her head with it.

Then, the victim says she looked up and Maria Elena had a knife (she describes it as saw knife), which she used to cut the victim's left knee open (she adds it was 20 centimeters/around 8 inch).

Then, the document gets cut.

There's also a witness testimony (it also gets cut)

In Brenda Solano's article, it's added that her mom was also there and they cut the woman with pocket knives and scissors on her face, crotch and face. All of this because she allegedly was Maria Elena's dad's lover.

September, 2012

This one doesn't involve Maria Elena, but I guess is relevant to understand how her family operated around Oaxaca.

This happened in a elementary school in Huajuapan de León, Oxaca

Basically her sister Silvia Rios Ortiz and I guess their relative, Mary Carmen Ortiz Martinez approached a woman when she was dropping her kids' lunch. They yelled insults, threatened and followe her because she allegedly had an affair with Mary's husband.

The victim asked them not to "fix their problem" there because of her kids and also her brother (who has down syndrome and couldn't understand what was going on) but the two women insisted. She had to hide.

It gets cut.

2015

Maria Elena's brother is accused of murder. The documents are avaible here -the last ones- (x).

This is important because the Frente Nacional Indígena y Campesino (FNIC) got involved. It roughly translates to National Indigenous and Peasant Front. Basically, poor and indigenous people came together to ask for justice in this case. They had to protest to get Carlos Ríos Ortiz to go through trial.

The FNIC's representative said that they were worried about this process because "they didn't want him to get out of jail" because "he has links with politicians and people in power". (You can see a picture of the protests in this note ).

This is hearsey but the comments call him a "priista" (supporter of the PRI political party in Mexico).

Allegedly, in Brenda Solano's article, we read he actually got help from Silvia Rios' partner, Hugo Jairo Hernandez (PRI) and Maria Elena's boyfriend at the time (who was the son of the city hall president, José Feria Rodriguez -PUP-) and their political links.

2022 (Post attack)

Silvia's sister appears on Alejandro Murat's (PRI) payroll (proof here). She's linked with the word "saxophonist". If true, she was receiving around 995,000 usd yearly.

2023

Maria Elena has been accused by Maribel Perez (her attacker's lawyer) for threats. Maria Elena's tweets were quoted as proof and also the people that have approached the victim have said things like "I hope you get acid thrown at you", "You're a bitch for defending that son of a bitch", "Stop revictimizing Maria Elena", "I hope it [acid attack] happens to you", "How can you not be more empathic with other women", "You, a woman, are Maria Elena's biggest enemy". (You can see the documents of this complaint here)(You can see tweets here, here). Maribel has also stated that Maria Elena has threatened her staff (proof here)

Not directly related to Maria Elena, but I think it's also important to know that Maribel Perez has also reported on being approached on a parking lot by two women in a car. They prevented her from leaving and told her they knew "she's Vera Carrizal's lawyer" and because of that they would throw acid at her, so she could "learn her lesson" (note here). Then they followed her.

Brenda Solano, an independent journalist, and the news outlet she writes to (Pajaros en el Alambre de Oaxaca) have accused Maria Elena of threatining her because she realised an article about the things I have commented on here. She also went all the way to Oaxaca to investigate.

Apart from this, some other things I think are worth mentioning and have resurfaced:

Maria Elena's dad and granddad were linked to stealing cars, drug trafficking and selling guns in Brenda Solano's article. (Note: She doesn't show proof, but she mentions a man who told this to the police and then was murdered back in 1998).

Maria Elena and her sister tried to deface a woman, who didn't speak to Brenda because she's scared of retaliation.

Maria Elena and her sister registered a kid twice (proof) and are being investigated by the FBI for falsifying documents. Silvia Ríos used the document to demand child support from her former partner, Hugo Jairo Hernández Sánchez (PRI). News outlets report this happened when Hernández was working on his campaign to run as president of the city hall. The man was a rent collector and close to Ulises Ruiz Ortiz (PRI), who's being accused of corruption (he's described as known for his "political vindictiveness").

An audio of Maria Elena has resurfaced. In it, she says "I'm going to kill myself because of you and it's going to be your fucking fault and you're going to carry it for the rest of your life!". (Note: We can't say for sure it's her, but if a newsmedia is risking to be accused by her, I'd say they're pretty sure about it).

She has been accused of being linked to the PAN political party because of her connection with Aurora Sierra (video here). She also gave an statement supported by PRI, PRD and PAN (video here).

Pajaros en el Alambre said back in february she's being prepared to be a representative candidate by the PRI-PAN-PRD-MC (x, x, x). In the screenshots I quoted, they basically say how her attack has been used as a way to gain sympathy by different political movements, and how the people who have spoken in her favor have been really corrupt in the past.

Her ex-partner (who is accused of the acid attack) was a PRI politician.

(Note. PRI, PRD and PAN are against Morena (AMLO/Mexico's president political party). Not implying anything but Tenoch had to take legal action due to people attacking him after his meeting with AMLO (People were doxxing his daughters and family and trying to mess with his career and intimacy)......... Not implying anything. Just food for thought.)

It's a lot, but I hope it helps to grasp the debacle around her. I'd post it myself but I'm too shy and tbh this has been a lot for me, I don't think I can handle rude anons. I just made the effort because I feel like I can contribute in that way.

The Tailor's Son - Part 1

Rodolfo’s parents weren’t rich, but he had never felt it.

He wore his older brother’s clothes like all kids in their quarter did wear their older sibling’s.

He played with what they had, mostly a worn out soccer ball, his cousin’s dolls on occasion, and kicked empty cans over the patchy road towards their school. Most of the time they climbed the mountains and fought with sticks or played in the shallow of the river in their underwear, splashing water, laughing.

His backpack was patched up several times, but it held his few notebooks and the tin can with the pencils and it dried up quickly when the rain caught him on his way home.

Most of their money went towards José’s education in the city. They were all really proud of him and Rodolfo didn’t want the people in the big city to think his brother came from a dirty little town. He gladly wore slightly too small sweaters and too short pants if it meant they could afford a new uniform for his brother. All the kids in the village ran around in worn out and well loved clothes, why should he be ashamed? The people of Las Almas did not have much, but they loved their town and they loved each other.

I am rich . Rodolfo thought often, mostly Friday nights when the people of his quarter dragged out chairs and tables and gathered in the inner courtyard, huddled around the flickering color TV to watch telenovelas or soccer. The food was shared, the drinks were shared and the older Rodolfo and the other kids got, the more often they were snuck a sip of the adult’s drinks.

He would sit back with Maria, his best friend, against the big terracotta flower pot, basked in the glow of the chain of lights (the one José had brought back from the city), blink into the stars and feel loved .

When Rodolfo turned nineteen he would finally have to leave the rocky mountains and winding rivers behind. For the first time in his life he would leave Las Almas. The time where he had fallen off the truck bringing them onto the farm in the mountain to help with harvest didn’t count because he was barely conscious to realize he had traveled to the big city and its hospital. Before, he had never gone farther than the adjacent towns. He felt nervous, even though José had told him adventure awaited him.

José visited when his tight university schedule allowed it, they did not have the money or the time to all go to see him. Rodolfo smiled. José was smart and he studied hard. He would become a doctor one day and help the sick people in the village. Maybe he would even go to France to become an even better doctor his mother had told him with pride.

Rodolfo traveled through the cobblestone streets without hurry, his fingers stroking over the walls of the houses he had played inside or around. They had asked him what he wanted to become so often in the past few months, the question echoed in his mind when he tried to sleep. Rodolfo had liked his life a lot, he had not intended to change it. He loved breakfast with his mother and his baby sister, Elena, his mother’s hand gentle in his hair. He loved the last minutes of a school day, Maria’s smile bright and full of mischief, waiting for the bell to ring. He loved running through the mountains or piling into a car to help whatever neighbor was in need of help. Over the years the kids of Las Almas had graduated from pulling weeds and fetching tools to patching roofs and building fences. They had all learned hard work was rewarded with a tasty meal and the company of his friends. And they all had learned how to keep a car up and running and that family was the greatest gift on earth. They grew as they went, slipping easily into their parent’s trades.

Maybe that was the reason why they asked him so often what he wanted to do and not the others.

Rodolfo paused to estimate the arch of the soccer ball flying into his direction. He kicked it back without thinking, the ball bouncing off a street lamp into the makeshift goal, the younger kid’s a chorus of shouts of awe and a mix of “Rodolfo! Rodolfo!”. They wanted to play with him one last time, but he had a bus to catch. They knew him as the oldest boy in the quarter, the boy they would come to when they needed a good keeper or had scrapped their knees. Rodolfo was always there and they did not understand why that had to change.

He sighed, turning onto the familiar path home.

The limed house would always be his home, no matter which path life would lead him down.

At the bottom of the slight incline his sister waited on the fence post, slipping onto his back with ease.

Little monkey , they called Elena. She was limber and quick but just as shy and quiet.

“Did you say goodbye?” his mother asked, quickly rearranging the flowers on the breakfast table to hide her tears.

“I will not be gone forever, mama .” He said, but his voice was thick.

Rodolfo did not like commanding officers.

It wasn’t anything personal, it was just the way things were. Like the sun traveling through the sky, it was certain they would be introduced to a new commanding officer by the end of the month. And it was the twenty-third of June already.

The same way they had ruined Las Almas, the Cartel had ruined the military.

Each man in command had held a weapon for a few months tops, had never felt the heat of gun fire and had never spent more than a day outside the base.

They were all the same, Rodolfo knew as he stuffed his hands in his worn out hoodie. Part of his paycheck went home, but not so much he couldn’t afford new clothes. He was just so used to wearing what he had, what he was handed, that he never bothered to buy something new. His position was almost too high to dress so sloppily, but his superiors hardly noticed between packing and unpacking their bags.

Rodolfo nodded, dismissed and went to tell the team who would be in charge of them this week, looking away as they made their bets.

Las Almas was different from the rest of Mexico.

He was sure of it.

In basic training he met men and women from all over the country but none of their hearts were rooted between warm soda and aching muscles, the smell of woman’s perfume and the feeling of loving kisses pressed onto his cheeks by aunts, mothers, cousins. None of them could marvel at the night sky like he could and his team called him dreamer with an affectionate smile that reminded him of his teacher, the only one he, his brothers and friends had known through their school years.

He missed Las Almas dearly, but he knew this was the place he had to be. For now.

He came home from the big military base for the holidays, he always did.

So did José and his father.

His mother cried happy tears when their small car made its way up the hill and she cried as if they had died when they needed to leave. Rodolfo hated to leave and shed more than one tear into his father’s suit jacket. He hated the airport, the busy people around them, the military plane waiting for him.

His father would pinch his cheek, telling him to be good but his eyes would be equally wet.

Rodolfo turned twenty six and Maria got married in Las Almas’ church.

It stung because Rodolfo knew how the whole village would be celebrating, how the excitement would carry them through the looming presence of the Cartel while he would be sitting in a stuffy transport. His mother called him and relayed the whole wedding day to him. Yes the veil was handmade, yes, Maria looked very, very happy, yes, the food and drinks were good, nana had asked if he ate enough. He couldn’t attend the wedding because he shipped out hours after it but he sent a card and some cash and a couple of months later he held a tiny bundle in his arms, in the cool of the church of Las Almas and cried als his old teacher arranged them around the baptismal font. He, Maria, their partner, all the parents and grandparents and of course his godchild, so tiny he was afraid he’d squish it. He wore his formal uniform and was introduced to a string of daughters and cousins, all surprisingly single.

His mother had laughed and danced with him and kissed his cheek and Maria pulled him close and didn’t let him go for a long time.

Rodolfo rolled his shoulders because he knew what was to come.

His team would bug him to finally submit the form that would give the position to him, but Rodolfo knew they’d shred it in a minute. He didn’t speak English, a requirement for serving in the higher ranks. He had passable grades in school, he could do math alright and knew how to read a map, but the most English he knew were the swear words they had picked up through television. Languages had never interested him because he had lived in Las Almas his whole life, and they all spoke his tongue, so…

He studied Alejandro Vargas for a moment, long enough to notice the fine threads the man wore. Unsuitable for the field, unless a commander was paid significantly more to constantly replace the delicate clothes. The light jacked seemed store bought but the dress shirt he wore underneath, Rodolfo guessed it was tailored. Why a man would wear something like that to a place like their base, which was made out of dirt and dirt alone, was a mystery to him.

The meeting was dismissed and Rodoflo gave Vargas a week, less if the plumbing broke again and they had to use the porta potties.

The only reason José had been able to study in the city was because of his father’s connections. The school of Las Almas could not compare to other state schools; Rodolfo had gone to class with both his older brothers despite his young age. The lack of teachers and children had all of them work with what was given. None of them were dumb, but José was the first of Las Almas to go to the big city and study. José was the pride of Las Almas, his return celebrated as was Rodolfo’s. They loved Las Almas and Las Almas loved their children.

The surprise that his father would move back to the tiny village shocked them all. But the Cartel had been a blessing in disguise. They brought drugs and crime but they also brought money. And money attracted people and people needed houses and Las Almas grew and grew, Rodolofo’s heart still rooted in the cobblestone and the smell of his grandmother’s apron and bumpy roads he’d learned to drive on.

“Alright. Let’s move then.” Vargas said and knocked twice on the table.

Rodolof nodded in acknowledgement and turned to get changed. Another day like so many before. Command ordered and they did obey like they always had. The first mission with Vagas in charge would not be any different he guessed. The plumbing still worked and Vargas did well. It was day four and they bet he broke on day six. Too much dirt around for a man who looked like he showered twice a day.

He wasn’t unhappy with his rank, but unhappy with how Command treated them. Like mules they got sent to do a task, Command never listened to them about how the world really spun. Rodolfo had picked up an old MP3 Player with an English audiobook, but he understood so little it was lost in his locker. If he had stayed in Las Almas, he wouldn’t have to worry about learning English in the first place, he thought more often than not. And Las Almas needed him, he knew it. He could feel it in his bones, in his heart. The Cartel was a cancer that ate his home up, day by day, kid by kid they bribed into running drugs for them.

His thoughts were interrupted as the door opened again. Vargas walked into the changing room, a wide grin on his face.

“Can’t wait to finally get off my ass.” He admitted to the dumbfounded Rodolfo. He blinked and turned towards his locker to get his gear on. A commander changing to actually run a mission in this godforsaken valley was - a miracle.

“Yeah, it’s been a while.” He finally replied, ripping the velcro of his knee pads open.

Don’t get your hopes up . Rodolfo told himself. It’s been two years of wannabes waiting for their promotion into a cushy office job. Vargas it’s any different .

But Varagas was different. He changed into well worn cargo pants and pulled off his tailored shirt - yes Rodolfo had glanced over to check - and took point instead of sending some poor Private in first.

Rodolfo allowed himself a tiny bit of hope at the three month mark when the mandatory period for the next pay grade was over and Vargas was still sitting in his tiny stuffy office, accepting the shitty coffee Rodolfo brought him.

Rodolfo’s father was a tailor.

He came from the big city because he had fallen in love with Rodolfo’s mother and for a long time, things had gone well.

But then, less and less people needed a tailor, clothing was cheap and thread was expensive.

Soon, Rodolfo’s father didn’t sew in the atelier but at their kitchen table when a zipper needed to be replaced or a button had fallen off. Sometimes he hemmed pants or a skirt, but he wasted his day away, ready for the doorbell to ring, disappointed when it was his wife’s aunt with a dish.

Their father slowly changed from the quiet, gentle man to a day drunk who’s name had to be called several times to get his attention.

Rodolfo and his siblings knew it was bad when they came home from school one day and their father wasn’t dressed in the three piece suit he insisted on wearing, but was in his underwear, in front of the TV, asleep.

Rodolfo had been seven when they had decided his father should open his shop again in the big city because - Rodoflo’s father was different. He didn’t know how to maintain a car or build a fence. He couldn’t fix the TV or slaughter chickens. Rodolfo had hugged his father tight that night and had cried without an end.

Vargas had made it past the twelve month mark and Rodolfo was quite sure he’d stay despite the shitty coffee and all the dirt.

“So, Parra.” Vargas placed several manila folders in front of Rodolfo. “Have you ever heard of Las Almas?”

Rodolfo spit his coffee back and cackled .

Before the army, Rodolfo had been lanky. The cooks and drill sergeants had made it their personal mission to bulk the boy up. He hadn’t been weak by any means, his body hardened by physical labor, but he was just a tad too scrawny for them to send him into the field with good conscience.

“What if you get lost, Parra?” Sergeant Liliana Betancourt had asked him. “You eat like a boy who sits down at his mama’s table each night and gets a good meal. But you’re in the army now! You need to survive without mama’s cooking for a week!”

Rodolfo had swallowed thickly, thinking back of his mother’s delicious cooking and nodded. He did not want to make his mama cry because he got lost and starved.

Instead when he had returned home next, his father had cried.

Papa had tailored a suit for each of them when they had finally stopped growing, now he was fussing around Rodolfo who was twice his former size and cursed the army and every politician under the sun.

“What have they done to my boy?” He had wailed, pinning and measuring.

His mama had laughed, setting another pot on the table to feed the man her boy had become.

As an apology he helped his father remodel the tiny shop he had once owned. The floors needed to be redone and the walls needed new paint and there were so many boxes in his home full of sewing supplies, the four kid’s couldn’t go anywhere without stumbling, but they were finally back together as a family.

They were all back in Las Almas.

Vargas could be mean.

Rodolfo thought it was karma for all the bad thoughts he had about him during his first few weeks. Now the Commander grilled him on his lack of promotion on their flight back to his home.

“I have been the only gay man in the regiment. I’ll be the only man who doesn’t speak English as well.” He finally grumbled, crossing his arms and closing his eyes to signal the interrogation was over. Vargas swatted him with the folder of Las Almas, still in the dark about the way Rodolof’s heart beat in sync with the tiny mountain city.

“You would do well in the Fuerza Especiales .”

“I would do well with a nap.”

Vargas snorted. “This isn’t over, Parra. I’ll need someone to run Las Almas with.”

“You can’t run Las Almas.” Rodolfo corrected. “Las Almas has its own spirit.”

Vargas snorted again. “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

“You will.” Rodolfo promised, excitement tingling in his stomach.

He’d finally be home.

The Las Almas compound was nothing more than a few landmarks, a few sticks in the ground with red tape fluttering lazily in the wind. Rodolfo had driven them from the closest airport. Vargas had offered to navigate but had quickly quieted down when he realized Parra did not need direction to the sleepy village nestled in the mountains. He had blinked, but followed the other’s example and left his tactical vest in the car. For Vargas this might be a mission, for Parra it was coming home.

Rodolfo had parked in the shade of a lone tree where they had studied the blueprints they had placed on the still warm hood of the SUV.

Vargas had grinned at him and Rodolfo knew why he had practically flown through the ranks. Vargas was a force to be reckoned with. Vargas came here to see and conquer, his grin inciting a rare one of Rodolfo as well.

“We will make history.” He promised Rodolfo.

The other nodded.

“While I wished the Cartel wasn’t in my home, I am glad we are here now.” He let his gaze wander over the planes, imagining the landing strip and buildings. He knew Vargas was studying him.

“I meant it, Parra. We could do this together.”

Rodolfo hummed.

He’d never be one to lead, he preferred to follow and did what had to be done. He didn’t like going toe to toe with high brass and argued like he had seen Vargas do.

“I’ll think of it.” he said, a lame excuse. Vargas would hunt him down personally until his signature was on the application.

Yet Vargas clapped his shoulder and nodded. “Good man.”

Carga Layda contra Mier: la traición acecha, le recrimina

Con ironía, en sus redes la gobernadora de Campeche le recuerda al poblano que no puede pactar con el priista Alito La gobernadora de Campeche, Layda Elena Sansores San Román, hizo pública una carta en la que responde al coordinador de los diputados federales de Morena, Moisés Ignacio Mier Velazco, un mensaje en la red X (antes Twitter), un mensaje en el que le dice que “la política no se hace por comentarios en los pasillos”. Sansores San Román acusó a Mier Velazco de haber llegado a un acuerdo oscuro y presionar e intimidar a los integrantes de su bancada, para que avalen que el dirigente nacional del PRI, Rafael Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, presida la Cámara de Diputados en el último año de la actual LXV Legislatura. “El PRI puede proponer a quien guste, la ley se lo permite; como he dicho públicamente, falta que nuestra mayoría lo avale. Te sugiero cuidemos la unidad de nuestro movimiento y que cada quien, desde nuestras responsabilidades, demostremos congruencia y consistencia”, respondió el legislador en un breve mensaje. Al respecto, Sansores respondió que no se basa en rumores de pasillo sino en la legítima preocupación “que me externan personalmente algunos diputados, al sentir que no se actúa con total transparencia y, por razones oscuras, se intenta inclinar la balanza. Espero que sólo se trate de interpretaciones equivocadas”. “Si no hay hilos negros —externó—, que pretendan controlar las conciencias de nuestros compañeros de Morena, no tendría por qué preocuparme, pues somos mayoría. A un buen líder no se le extravía ni un solo compañero”. “Está dentro del radio de mis responsabilidades evitar que a un hombre sujeto a investigaciones por delitos graves y que tanto daño hicieron a mi estado se le dé ese poder y recursos en un año políticamente muy complicado, porque también nos afectaría a los campechanos y a México”. En su programa de televisión Martes del Jaguar, Layda dijo que Mier Velazco traiciona al Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) y al proyecto de la Cuarta Transformación (4T), al dejar la presidencia de San Lázaro al ex mandatario de Campeche, quien dejó varios pendientes y una larga estela de investigaciones y señalamientos judiciales en su contra, entre ellas, por enriquecimiento ilícito. MODERN WARFARE II (2022) | Elena’s Story

ELENA “RIVER” REYES

DF- ECHO 3-8

UKNOWN LOCATION, USA

Background. After the events in mid-2019 on partnering up with Alex Keller (Echo 3-1) in aiding Farah Karim to take down General Barkavo and his chemical gasses, alongside Captain Price and Sergeant Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick, due to minor injuries and apparent lack of focus, River's Corporal sent her home, suspecting it might be related to her mental well-being. But after a few months passed, they decided to extend her break for a few months more until she got a call back from them, giving her authorization to return to duty. It concerns her a bit about why or what the reason was there for extending her break. That didn't keep her mind occupied. Instead, she focused on spending her time with her mother. Even to catch up with her and do things together like before, she's returned from deployment the rest of the time.

But that serenity didn't last until her uncle, Daniel, unexpectedly visited her; meanwhile, her mother wasn't around. From their last meeting, she remembered her mother being accompanied by him to drop her off before getting deployed. But before that day, he mentioned not to get in contact with him and keep themselves as strangers. Keeping his promise to make sure her mother was safe.

With a bit of awkward small talk, he jumps quickly into the topic of the name that the woman mentioned who tried to murder them. Elena didn't like the sound of it. With a straightforward explanation, he hands her a file containing information about a case of an unknown group working with someone. "The Nameless," her uncle mentions. He later explains that she may obtain more some intel on the group that targeted her family and his brother (Elena's father), mostly on her father.

Elena tried to process all the information that Daniel had given her. She thought about it for two minutes and responded. "Where did you find this file?" She began with concern, sitting across from him in the living room.

"I requested it but might come up with a lie to get it," Elena didn't seem impressed and sighed. Of course, he had to.

"For now, in the file, during a mission to spy on her, they overheard their name through communication radio. They weren't sure who, but they seemed to be transporting, taking cargo." Daniel stated, slowly revealing his upset tone.

Elena blinked a few times and leaned back in her seat. "You're saying puedan estan haciendo negocio? (they might be doing business)…," she crossed her arms.

"Without a doubt, that group not only kills but also conducts business with other parties."

"I'm still not sure how I could look for them. I can't go on my own to find them without permission."

"That's why I was informed first. Vas a trabajar (You're going to work) with a different task force, not with Delta."

"What?" She mumbles from the shocking news.

"I heard you would be heading to the UK to take a mission in Las Almas, Mexico. You'll probably bump into her in time."

"Still, you can't expect me to find them alone during a mission. I could cause suspicion and get myself-"

"Elena, it's that o que más (or what else)? Do you suggest you have another plan to find her?… You know I can't go, and I'm still counting on you; remember the deal and what you wanted."

Elena sat silently, moving her gaze away from Daniel to her hands resting on her lap. At this point, one leg was raising and lowering, quick for her to think. She had no choice and needed him to check on her mother. With disbelief, she sighs defeatly and slowly nods.

"Good. That should at least clear your mind a bit." He sighs deeply and gets up from the couch, away from the coffee table. Before he leaves, he stops to place a hand on her shoulder. "Get it done as soon as possible. In the end, you'll keep your mother safe and get the life you want." He mentioned calmly and demandingly, patting her shoulder, finally leaving without saying goodbye or "hope everything goes well" luck.

After another day, she seemed to lose focus on spending time with her mother. Whenever her mother asked, she would make up something. Her mind was now filled with worries, less than at ease. But she placed herself here. She was determined to find the mystery of her parents and their cause of death. After a few days of the aftermath of someone breaking into their old home to attack her mother, she watched her mother break down in front of her, trying to recover. She and her mother remembered the fear she felt that day of almost losing their life in that home. And beyond that, Elena was haunted by the bone-chilling rush of adrenaline coursing through her veins, a chilling reminder of her narrow escape from death. The sight of blood and the knife she held to keep her alive, too, was stuck in her memory.

The first time she's experienced violence.

Not wanting that to happen again, she promised herself to work hard for her and her mother to restart a new life someplace with enough money once she was enlisted and on duty. Another was to focus on her career, such as what she could do to continue helping people in need, which she continues to enjoy.

28 Oct 2022. After several weeks, she receives a phone call from Laswell in the early morning hours before Elena's usual wake-up time. Throughout the call, Laswell first mentioned a letter that Elena received by mail from Price. Her response to Laswell's concern reminded her of the first few weeks of receiving it during her break. In that letter, Price recommended that she join a different task force he created. Task Force 141. To her surprise, General Shepherd got involved in making a decision. A permanent decision for her. Her uncle wasn't lying.

From previous missions documented in working with the Delta Force and her skills in her file, Shepherd saw her as a good candidate to join the task force. One of them was able to deactivate bombs, and the other was her recent riflery test score she took before taking her break. She further mentions that Shepherd decided to have Elena join the task force. But she couldn’t believe what she was hearing as she couldn’t believe they had decided without her knowing. As always, even if she denied it, she would still have to follow orders.

Instead of returning to base in the United States, she must travel to the UK to head on a mission with two members. Lieutenant Ghost and Sergeant John ‘Soap’ MacTavish. Their mission was to search for a man named “Hassan Zyani” who was on the loose for stealing American ballistic missiles. Their task was to find and capture him in order to find the locations of those missiles before it was too late until he launched them. It was in a few days, early in the morning, to head to Las Almas. Once they dismissed the call, she sat on the edge of her bed, thinking not only how to break the news to her mother but now that she was forced to be transferred to a new group IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY.

Later in the day, setting her concerns aside, she focused on helping her mother make breakfast and do daily chores to let her have a calm morning. But once they sat down in their kitchen for a coffee break, she explained to her mother the news, but only in minor detail. Her mother understood, and instead of questioning, she helped her pack. The next day to her surprise, Daniel came at the exact time to drop her off hearing the news that Elena was going off. Elena doesn't want him to, but instead, he convinces her that he'll not question anything about her. Saying her goodbyes to her mother, Elena promised to keep her in contact by text, letters, or video calls once in her free time. Her mother nods later to give her a prayer and hugs her tightly.

29 Oct 2022: During the afternoon, Elena made her way to the military base in the UK. As soon as she walked out from the plane, she spotted a familiar mohawk haircut; much to her surprise, it was Soap. Similarly, Soap was taken aback to meet her again. It's been a few years since they'd shared a mission. Their acquaintance was brief, knowing only so much about each other from their limited interactions. Sharing a handshake, he later helps her settle in with the new place, showing her around. After discussing a bit about how they joined the task force and his previous mission during lunch hours, they later began catching up on how it’s been for the two.

30 Oct 2022: Some time then, midnight before heading to Las Almas, they were suited up and met up with Ghost near the plane. Later, Soap introduced him to her. As she stood beside Soap, a recollection stirred within her; she hadn't spotted Ghost initially. Already she could tell he seemed distant or disinterested in meeting the team, especially after she extended her hand upon introducing herself. A look he’s given her. The way his eyes looked calm but also gazed at her eyes was giving a silent warning to her not to mess with him. It was that, or maybe it’s the way he usually stares. She didn’t want to assume. He was a lieutenant, after all. But what caught her eye the most was not just his height but his ominous balaclava skull mask. And beneath it, the mysterious allure of black makeup veiled his eye. Instead of introducing himself back, he nodded and spoke right away, ordering them to head into the plane.

En 1796, Borovikovsky realizó por primera vez imágenes emparejadas de las grandes duquesas Alexandra Pavlovna y Elena Pavlovna . Fue uno de los primeros encargos que recibió el artista de la familia imperial, y el maestro lo afrontó de forma brillante. Las imágenes de cámara de las princesas contra el telón de fondo de un paisaje envuelto en una suave neblina se crearon bajo la influencia del sentimentalismo y parecen ser la personificación de la pureza y la juventud. Los retratos están realizados con una técnica de pintura libre que transmite tanto la suave redondez de las formas como la blancura transparente de los rostros de los modelos. Borovikovsky copió repetidamente los retratos de las grandes duquesas. La versión de la colección de la Galería Tretyakov fue encargada por el amigo más cercano y colaborador de Pablo I, el príncipe A.B. Kurakin (1752-1818) y estaba destinado a su finca Saratov Nadezhdino. Kurakin ordenó repetidamente a Borovikovsky y sus propios retratos.Uno de ellos (1801-1802) se conserva en la Galería Tretyakov.

Los interiores de Nadezhdin estaban decorados con una rica colección de pinturas. Después de la muerte del propietario, la propiedad comenzó a decaer y la mayoría de las obras de arte se dispersaron entre otras propiedades que pertenecían a la familia Kurakin. Entre otras pinturas tomadas de Nadezhdin estaban los retratos de las Grandes Duquesas. A lo largo del siglo XX, las imágenes emparejadas se mantuvieron en diferentes colecciones, y solo a finales de siglo el destino las reunió nuevamente dentro de las paredes de la Galería Tretyakov. El retrato de Alexandra Pavlovna fue comprado al coleccionista de Moscú M.M. Uspensky en 1985.

La Gran Duquesa Alexandra Pavlovna (1783-1801), la mayor de las hijas de Pablo I, recibió el nombre del primogénito del emperador, el Gran Duque Alejandro Pavlovich. Desde la infancia, se distinguió por un carácter manso, tenía un talento inusual y recibió una excelente educación. Como señaló su abuela, Catalina II, la princesa hablaba cuatro idiomas, escribía y dibujaba bien, tocaba el clavicémbalo, cantaba y bailaba. El destino no fue favorable a la "princesa rusa". Al principio, un emparejamiento fallido esperaba al rey sueco Gustav IV, quien, a pesar de la simpatía mutua, en el último momento se negó a firmar el contrato de boda. Entonces la Gran Duquesa tuvo un matrimonio infeliz. En 1799, se casó con el heredero del trono de Austria, el archiduque José, pero la corte de Viena le dio una recepción muy fría.

Top Ten Favorite Fictional Ships

And another Top Ten! And this one is about love and romance: my favorite fictional ships. I have a few of them, and I wanted to list those top ones here. They are ones that made me believe in love and had me enjoy their journeys together. I just love love.

1. Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann (Pirates of the Caribbean franchise)

I love these two. They fell in love as preteens and continued as adults. They literally fought pirates and went to the ends of the earth for one another. And though they were pulled apart, they still waited and loved each other across the seas. That’s my kind of love. The ones that are equals and would die for one another and love each other despite any of their faults.

2. Will Herondale and Tessa Gray (Infernal Devices series)

These two are very similar to Will and Elizabeth above. I discovered their love when I was in high school and I loved how they grew together. And now, I get to read about them as adults and parents, and that they still cherish one another is wonderful. I love these two together so much.

3. Alejandro de la Vega and Elena Montero (Zorro movies)

These two are wonderful. They have a fiery passion and they drive one another crazy. But their love runs so deep that they would fight at each other’s side. And that’s just amazing.

4. Rick O’Connell and Evie Carnahan (The Mummy movies)

posited These two are like Alejandro and Elena as well. But I like that Rick is so moony over Evie and he would do anything for her. To me, in some way, Rick is the heart and Evie is the brains of their relationship. They’re equals, and they treat each other as such, and balance one another out. It’s just such a lovely relationship.

5. Hades and Persephone (relationship, but especially in Lore Olympus)

I’ve been fascinated by these two since I learned the original tales. But I love how they’re portrayed in Lore Olympus. They’re so fascinated with one another, Hades is heads over heels, and they’re so sweet around one another (though, also scary, recently especially).

6. Anne Cuthbert and Gilbert Blythe (Anne with an E series)

THESE TWO! So cute! They don’t know they’re in love with each other, and they don’t say anything until the last minute! But I like that it branched from youth into adulthood and they grew together. And that they were friends first.

7. Dani and Jamie (The Haunting of Bly Manor)

These two were so cute, especially once they got together. I loved seeing their natural life together, how they held one another’s hands, how they worked through the ghosts and the trauma. And even past what had happened, they were still holding onto one another.

8. Emma Swan and Neal Cassidy (Once Upon a Time series)

I know most people love Emma/Hook, but my god, I hate those two together. I’m all for Emma and Neal, because I think they connect more, they have a past, and they would get each other more than the others. They had similar pasts and traumas, and my goodness, they have Henry together. Neal is willing to work even with his own traumatic past just to get to Emma and Henry. He had only wanted them to be a family, and he died for them, and I think their love is the best in the series.

9. Marco and Celia (The Night Circus)

They made magic together. They were at war with one another and didn’t even know it, but they still fell in love. Even when they did know, they were willing to turn the world upside down for one another. And I fell for it, I fell for these two. And I love what they had did for the other, the little things, the little beauties they brought to one another.

10. Poe and Finn (Star Wars universe)

I know this is pretty unconventional, and they can be seen as close friends more, but I think they had more chemistry than that together. I had wanted them to get together, but the movies caved that for them. I couldn’t be the only one who got the vibe right? I felt like that they fought for one another more than anything, and they always reached for one another first. I wished they had gotten together.

Runner Up: I have two here, since they’re ties (and they’re similar!)

Edward Gracey and Elizabeth (Haunted Mansion movie)

They were searching for one another in the afterlife. They found one another as ghosts and went off to the afterlife together. I found that love powerful, even if Edward was a little bit intense on Sarah about it. But you could see their love for each other, even in death.

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (The Ghost and Mrs. Muir movie)

A ghost and a woman fell in love after living in a house together. He left her to live her own life and then met her once she died. I call that love, man.

I really do love love. I like seeing how characters get together, and how they fall in love with one another. But I’ve noticed that I also love characters that are quite opposites and balance one another out. It’s just so magical and wonderful to see on screen. I want all these people to just be together, is that so hard to ask??
