🧡 As a visitor, Glamrock Freddy doesn't have much time to be with you. With you coming occasionally and him being the main attraction, he tries his best to balance both. Once your guest profile is highlighted, he tries to excuse whoever he’s with to find you. When he finds you, he waves and calls your name while rushing over to you. You’re always greeted with his iconic bear hug before he bombards you with questions. How are you? What are you doing here? Have you been up to anything? His ears are wiggling from so much excitement as you talk!

🧡 He apologizes profusely when he has to go back to work. ‘ Just one more minute…’ He wishes it every time he’s reported to the stage. No matter how much you try to comfort him, he still feels sorry. His poor superstar is being strong for him. 😢 Before he leaves, he presents you with Pizzaplex gifts like coupons, merch, and free passes for his shows. Hopefully, with these, you’ll forgive him and stay a bit longer. Cheer him on in his show and he’s back to his happy self. As I said, it’s a pattern of performing and running back to be with you, so he wants to do his best to make each visit unforgettable for you.

🧡 Now, if you are an employee, he has all the free time needed to attend to you! It’s laughable how much he chases you around the pizzeria. Vanessa had gotten so tired of bringing him back. She just throws you a walkie-talkie and tells you to report back if he annoys you.

🧡 This bear's main love language is acts of service. He’s willing to do absolutely anything for you. From bringing you a fresh lunch to passing you the tools you need, he can do it all. The silence of the room is broken when he tells you how beautiful you look. In fact, he could go into complete detail about how much you mean to him- I mean everyone!

🧡 Every romantic partner buys their crush gifts and Freddy brings LOTS of them. He makes it a point to leave you something every shift. He won’t leave coupons or passes, since you can enjoy all that luxury with company benefits. Instead, everytime Glamrock Freddy comes to take a quick check on you, he leaves you a plushie of him next to you as you work; as if to watch you even when he's not physically there. You have so much merch of him, you could compete with even the most hardcore collectors. Each day he leaves you beautiful orange, red, and blue flowers with a note in your locker. Each sentence is nothing but doting and encouraging words to brighten your day. 

🧡 At the end of the day (or night), all he needs is a simple smile and thank you for knowing his efforts are worth it. As selfish as it sounds, he wants to be the only one you can count on for assistance. Or anything for that matter! Not that he minds others, but he knows they won’t be as helpful as he is. Freddy can easily become overbearing if proper boundaries are not set in time.

🧡 It's up to you to ask why he's been acting so strange because, by the time, he'll confess it will be when he has you locked up in his room. When he explains how he feels around you, you already know what he was trying to say. Accept his confession and he'll be ecstatic! Nothing much will change besides his clinginess being cranked up. He can't help but give surprise hugs and call you sweet nicknames.

🧡 Rejection will leave him devastated. There were so many obvious reasons why you couldn't be together, but he can't help but feel like he's gone wrong somewhere. He tells you if he can't be your lover, then you can still be friends, but you can hear a hint of sadness as he says it. He still aids and talks to you whenever you can. However, something has been off with him. He gently scolds his friends and other employees for leaving mistakes you have to fix despite it never being a problem in the past. It turns into more little things like how they approach you. When you approach him about his behavior, he apologizes for it. 😢 can’t believe this really over man. One of the biggest surprises of the season. Need another season for sure. But I’ll def check out the LN

Finale had everything that makes this such a special watch! Valefor fully incorporated into Zagan and Nephy’s home as their daughter now. Even the townspeople can’t help but comment on how cute they are. Given everything both she and Nephy have been through I’m so happy they have a place where they belong and are loved.

Seeing the whole cast together for a final meal was perfect! Raphael as a butler considering how powerful and high ranking a knight he was seems weird, but at the same time feels like he was made for it lol. Chastille looking gorgeous as per, but the fact Barbatos has to watch over her constantly because she’s clumsy was so funny!

Zagan is so kind and wants all the people he cares about taken care of, and with good reason tbf. Without that Barbatos security detail, Chastille would probably be dead from any number of things now lol. Including her cooking which according to Nephy is as bad as the muddy water she used to have to drink as a slave lmao

Serving it to Barbatos after he wouldn’t shut up talking shit about Chastille was brilliant. I feel like they’re setting up he and Chastille as a ship.. never sensed chemistry from them before, but I could see it after this one.

What did Martha think of John?

She loved him so much, like from the beginning. The thing is, sometimes she wasn’t very sure of John’s love to her because he could be very “strict” and those kind of rules made her feel very bad. For her, the change to a much more tender setting was very sudden. John started to be more candid with her and she felt that he was one of her best friends. But still, she would doubt about his motives (it was because he was with Paul?). Then the cards showed me how sad she was when she couldn’t see more of John 😢. And that’s how it ends.

He is a prince! And I’m going to give him the best treatment!

It was like genuinely she wanted to give him her best, in a very lovely and tender way, but sometimes she would feel deceived about how Paul would treat her back. It was like he didn’t do the same effort. But anyways, she still tried her best to give everything to him. Sometimes she would think it was very difficult, that it was like impossible to give everything to Paul. Something was missing! And it was like she had so many ideas on how to make it happen, but stupid Paul would sabotage taking drugs or whatever 😭. She was almost like a mother sometimes. WHAT ARE YOU DOING PAUL?! That kind of moments made her sad, and it was worse when Paul didn’t care. Martha really was waiting for Paul to settle and have someone, it was too much 😭🤣.

Even when things would be better, and John would show up very loving at their door, it was like Martha wasn’t 100% convinced of this.

Why Martha was so worried about this relationship?

Martha could see that they loved each other a lot, but it was like happiness would be very difficult to reach. And also, it was like suddenly the relationship was having more and more chaotic energy. And would be arguing passionately or doing very crazy shit from one time and another and then would be like nothing happened and for Martha was like REALLY BITCH?! She didn’t like that very much. Also, they would be partying (and/or distracting?) and wouldn’t give her attention (or the attention that she would’ve like to have) so it was kind of stressful. But she knew they loved each other and were happy, so she tried to understand.

I think when it was time to be with them she didn’t like it very much. But probably Paul told her to follow their instructions and be obedient with them and she would have to accept those conditions even when she didn’t like them at all. She knew that Paul would be able to do his shit while she was out of the house and probably would be happier too (😭). She would have to keep up with these people anyway and they actually would be kind of nice, but she wouldn’t want to be with them. She preferred to be back home.

CW: it gets kinda depressing near the end, my mood kinda seeped in 😓; mostly backstory stuff

- my girl is bi (more so bc I want a chance)

- her mom was always a stickler for a clean house so she’s super serious about making sure everyone does their chores, even more than Sakyo

- this one is more about Yukio and her mother but that man’s taste is women is definitely serious women in charge (they say you tend to fall for someone similar to your parents *winkwonk* SakyoIzu being the gender bent ver *winkwonk*

- Women on top tho, the men are simps (Yukio has to call at least once a week or else)

- On that note, her mom definitely holds grudges by the way she doesn’t even want Yukio to be mentioned in her household; Izumi holds mini-grudges too but they eventually fade with time bc she’s forgetful and just really nice

- not one to scream at a person when she’s angry, just raises her voice and speaks in a firm tone (she’s really good at choosing the right words though so it’s kinda worse to get her mad bc she’s usually so tolerant and her words hit deep)

- always speaks from the heart so this skill not transfer to acting 😭

- when her dad left so suddenly, she tried watching plays to cope but then started crying in the middle of the performance bc she thought of what her dad would think of a specific scene bc they used to do daddy-daughter play trips

- briefly tried to take up a different artistic hobby instead of theatre but when that failed, she just threw herself into her studies

- average student but she can get higher scores if she really tries

- scores into a pretty good college but a friend encourages her to go to a decent college that at least has a good arts program bc they’re worried Izumi is gonna throw away her life’s passion

- although she had that horrible experience where the theatre head told her she has no acting talent, at least being able to help create plays with backstage work rekindles her love of theatre and gives her an even greater appreciation for behind the scenes positions

- she works her way up the back stage ladder, trying out all sorts of different jobs to get a feel for each of them and eventually gets to an assistant director position

- and she’s absolutely in love with it (my girl is a career woman through and through)

- she gets why her father loved it so much although he was a great actor himself

- so thankful to the friend who encouraged her to go to that college, they’re still in contact (long distance bc she’s still at their home town) and they text and do late night calls often (they’re platonic soulmates dw)

- She was decently popular before daddy issues happened and lost a lot of the fair weather friends and only has a few close ones she’s made and kept over the years; she’s making more connections via theatre nowadays bc MANKAI keeps her so busy (it’s a crime that Liber doesn’t even give Izumi just one friend outside of her relation with MANKAI)

- Although MANKAI and her friend have never met, they refer to each other by nicknames at this point bc of how often Izumi catches them up on what the other is doing

- I know for a fact this girl is a praiser, she’s just so proud about them like a mother (especially when it comes to MANKAI)

- Takes almost no credit for them however, my girl has some insecurity issues being around such immensely talented people 😢

- She’s very talented in managerial aspects but she only found out after years of no talent in various arts

- She’s not one to tell people about her troubles (she knows she should) but people who know her well can tell when she needs a pick me up

- and one last happy one bc wow it got depressing and long: at least every few months, she schedules a weekend off and goes back to her hometown to spend time with her mother, after realizing that she should cherish more the family she has close by after moving into the MANKAI dorm and being reminded of family by the boys (both mother and daughter look forward to this event every time) (what do they do? Just relax and chat over Japanese snacks while her mother gives Izumi some tips on how to better run the dorm) (If you think Izumi is a praiser, her mother is worse, 1000% yaps about her wonderful daughter all the time to her friends behind Izumi’s back)

EARTH - Do you prefer worldbuilding or character creation?

Hmm I don’t enjoy worldbuilding for worldbuilding’s sake because I find that it can be a way to procrastinate and keeping track of it all can be kind of a drag on the narrative, so I guess character creation, but they kind of go hand in hand for me. I like really tight focus on characters and relationships, so Kal and Marcus started from really broad strokes “former slave runs into former master, what’s that like” and the world got built around it to answer why they were former slave/former master and how they felt about each other. I wanted a sort of ambivalently affectionate relationship from Kal’s side but I also wanted him to have absolutely no concern that Marcus could do anything to him legally, so instead of him just being a runaway, I added in the annexation background stuff and how everything would have to shift legally and socially because of it. Some of the characters are there to serve the worldbuilding; Joost, Mayke, and Lodee have their northern/foreign backgrounds because I wanted to kind of gesture at the wider world without going into it deeply. Some of the characters are there to serve the plot of making Kal and Marcus’ original relationship untenable by showing that it’s not a good option; Lodee, Florian, Cyril, and Aurelius are there to show why all the possible futures in that situation are bad, but they also end up fleshing out the worldbuilding a little.

SYRUP - What is the best trait of your favourite character?

Marcus is my problematic fave, shhhhhh. A lot of people tell me they don’t like him even after finishing SFD, but I find him a compelling viewpoint character to write because I enjoy writing that process of figuring out if you want to become a better person and how to get there. His best trait is probably that he just wants everyone to be happy, which is also his worst trait, because he goes along with objectively terrible situations to not rock the boat and make the best of things.

(Lodee and Teunis are the most entertaining to write because they hate Marcus)

And yes please prompts are always welcome!! Although I tend to take forever on them, I have a couple that have ballooned out into a couple thousand words that I'm trying to finish so I can post them 😢

Your Harbinger Christmas fic made me melt like an ice cream, especially when i read Capitano's section 😭💓🛐 the way u write him in the fic had me in tears, i love him so much 😭💞💞

I just love the thought of Capitano being this "A dangerous and powerful man who leads an entire army to a war, a man who is feared but also respected by many people and all of his foes calling him a monster in battlefield". But when he is alone with reader, he suddenly became a man that wants to be loved 😭 its funny but also really cute and sweet 🥺💓.

I can't stop thinking about "before" both Capitano and reader being together, i believe that someone like him never celebrate holiday.. He probably spend it for training himself, strategizing war tactics, etc. So of course he had no idea of how being festive. But now that they are together, seeing him finally can relax and reader teaching him few things about holidays is just makes my heart flutter (he deserves everything good 🙏😭)

About that part where reader gave him that "ugly" Christmas sweater as a joke.. It may look ugly to them, but for him its beautiful bcs its literally A GIFT from HIS S/O and i think he will cherish it forever ❤ (idk why, but i think reader will starts to feel bad and decided to give him a good one 😅).

And also, shopping with him is probably a bit funny to think of bcs its the only time both Capitano and reader argue with each other. Capitano keep insisting of carrying all of the items they bought while reader trying to tell him to give some of it to them. Also imagine him raising his hands up with all of the items effortlessly while reader trying to reach to grab one of the items from him is just funny and cute (other people are watching them too btw).

Ooohh, Anon, now I’m curious who you’re talking about 👀 If they have at least a little bit of the eliteTM aura about them (even Soma has it...), they’ll be fine. Unicorns have to deal with each other while thinking they’re the most important people in the world due to their upbringing, so they have a surprisingly working flow among themselves that saves them from getting their egos hurt, which is the most difficult problem for them to solve. They’re also supposed to behave if they don’t want to get expelled, but it’s so hard and expensive to put your child in this institution, that few boys end up like this lol But thank you for sharing anyway!

Thoughts on “Watching and Dreaming” Part 1

Since this maybe the last time I might actually do one of these, I want to make it count and make it special. I really am going to miss this show. These past few weeks have been difficult.

I loved the cold open of hearing “King Titan’s” voice before the title card showed for the last time. It makes this episode feel more final🥹

Even though it was creepy, I did like Luz in Emperor Belos’ attire. It lowkey fits her.

Seeing Luz, Eda and King all have dreams of their greatest fears is really symbolic of the show centering around them and I appreciate that.

it's actually not written/posted yet but it's coming on Sunday so be prepared.... other than that, we have if you and i are a story that never gets told which is open ended but in a hopeless kinda way. they don't die but it's implied they probably will. all my other stories have happy endings because I want them to be happy.

I think maybe imaginary homelands since the whole thing is about them finding their way back to each other, and also, it takes place post-war so no one dies, no one's suffering anymore, and they're married and happy by the end.
