I am so entranced by ur style it's crayzay . . . I adore how you draw Sakura and Kakashi they're so silly goofy
thank youuu!!!!!! :^D i love drawing them, especially interacting together, i think there's SUCH a wealth of possibility that kishimoto failed to exploit in his storytelling that could lead to detailing parallels between the two of them—and woudln't it be a bit fitting if she ends up being, in many ways, the one most like kakashi? the one left behind?
#yamswers#rosetylerisms#ILL GO INSANE IF I START TALKING TOO MUCH ABOUT IT AGAIN BUT. LISTEN#THEYRE SO ALIKE IN SO MANY WAYS !#all of the kids are like kakashi a little bit and i know sasuke was intended to present the most direct parallels but sasuke is#well. whatever. im not going to get into it BUT the point is#at the very least. while sasuke was off with orochimaru and naruto was off with jiraiya#sakura and kakashi stayed in the village while sakura learned under tsunade#i would NOT be surprised if they met up for lunch every so often so kakashi could get updates on at least ONE of his student's educations#and when you spend time with people you inevitably reflect them in minute undetectable ways#my point is that one day they go out to lunch all of them all together as adults (sai naruto sasuke sakura yamato kakashi)#and sakura and kakashi pick up their meals in exactly the same way at the same time and its just that. just such a small tiny thing#meaningless#but everyone else is like “Huh ?”#AND THERES NO ANSWER TO THAT HUH! BECAUSE ITS A MEANINGLESS GESTURE ! its just a way of holding a bowl! a coincidence of timing !#but all the same everyone is like what the fuck sakura is like kakashi in this small way. and naruto points it out to her because he knows#it will piss her off#and it does. she's still the one who criticizes kakashi the most brutally. and sai is just baffled about what any of this matters for#but he doesn't want sakura to get bullied alone he's Trying To Be Nice so he starts immitating both sakura and kakashi.#WHICH MAKES SAKURA MORE MAD#and sasuke is like woa things are different than when i left. and he's just observing.#and yamato doesn't have anything to add this is massively entertaining for him. dinner and a show? watching kakashi get dunked on? say less#god. “i'll go insane if i start talking too much about it again” me @ me: darling i think you're insane to begin with.#MY POINT IS. SHE IS HER LADY'S STUDENT. AND HER SENSEI'S STUDENT. and it should SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What would it be like for Reader if all of team 7 was yandere for them? Can be ninja or civilian, either way
Yandere Team 7
Tag List: @issamomma @repostingmyfavs @chickennugnugnug
Warnings: Platonic & non platonic yanderes, possessive tendencies, obsessive tendencies, slight degradation, future wife ideals, ass slapping, power play
Note: Just pretend that you’ve replaced Sakura.

Tumblr media
The Leader: Kakashi Hatake
He’s going to be constantly keeping an eye on you.
You’ll be lucky if he even lets you fight during missions.
Anytime he thinks you’re putting yourself in the slightest bit of danger, you can expect to immediately be reprimanded. You barely know what’s going on half the time. You once got in trouble with him just for saving a dog who got caught in a strong current in the river. Man, did he give you a tongue lashing for that.
He treats you with kid gloves because he loves you and sees himself as more of your father-figure than your sensei.
He picks up treats for you and only you.
In his room, there’s the Team 7 photo of you, Naruto, Sasuke, and him in his room, there’s the one of his original team with Minato, Rin, and Obito, and then there’s a photo next to it of just the two of you. You’re making a silly face, and he has an arm slung around your shoulders. It’s cute, and it’s his favorite photo.
You told Kakashi it was your dream to be part of the Anbu, and he scoffed at you and literally said, “Over my dead body.”
Tumblr media
The Mouth: Naruto Uzumaki
It wasn’t exactly hard for Naruto to fall for you. You’re the most beautiful girl in the world to him.
You actually treat him like he’s a person. You treat him with respect, and you don’t have any idea what that means to him.
He has pictures of you all over his apartment. Some of them are just the two of you, a lot of them are just you.
Naruto sees himself marrying you one day. He can’t wait for that day to come.
He’s always complimenting you. He gushes about how pretty, smart, and powerful you are.
He knows it’s your dream to be an Anbu member, and while he really doesn’t like how dangerous that sounds, he encourages you to follow your heart. (He can always just show up in case something goes wrong).
Tumblr media
The Muscle: Sasuke Uchiha
It was very hard for Sasuke to fall for you.
You had to be very special for Sasuke to even regard you for longer than half a second.
You’re the type of girl who doesn’t fawn over him like he’s used to. You’re more focused on trying to climb the ranks as a ninja.
Sasuke slaps your ass when nobody is looking (especially Kakashi). Your ass was made for his hands.
“Did you just smack my ass, Sasuke?”
“Yeah, I did. What are you gonna do about it?”
And you do nothing because you can do nothing. 😭
Sasuke can’t see you becoming an Anbu member. It doesn’t matter how powerful you think you are. He doesn’t have to worry about you becoming an Anbu member because he can’t see them taking you on. You can barely hold up your own against him in training. You really think they’re gonna take you in?
He’s still condescending to you. He loves to tease you, likes to make himself feel above you. He puts you in your place and makes sure you stay there.
———
Now for the conflict. All of them are Yandere for you. Of course, Kakashi’s love for you is purely platonic. However, he doesn’t like how Naruto and Sasuke have the hots for you. You’re like his little girl, you are his little girl, and you’ll always be his little girl.
You feel conflicted, like you have to choose between Naruto and Sasuke.
Naruto and Sasuke are always trying to compete against each other for you, and it always leads to a physical brawl that Kakashi has to break up.
Nothing ever goes accordingly for you. All of your Anbu applications are always disappearing or being denied. This makes you really sad because you feel like your dream will never come true.
At the end of the day, at least you have your team to fall back on.

Itachi: Sasuke, are you ready to get going? We don't have a lot of time before you have to go to Kakashi-sensei, and if you want me to practice that technique with you then -- Mikoto: Sasuke's already left, dear. Itachi: What?? *glances at his watch* It's barely 5am! I thought I'd have to drag him out of bed. Why is he gone already? Don't tell me Kakashi is actually having them train this early? Mikoto: I don't think so, but ... well ... he mentioned something about meeting Naruto for breakfast. Itachi: Naruto? That blonde kid on his team? The one he complains about all the time?? Mikoto: That's the one. I think it's cute. I remember YOUR first love; remember that cute little girl who used to give you her dango? I -- Itachi: FIRST LOVE? Are you saying that Sasuke likes this boy or something? Mikoto: I believe so. Itachi: But has he ever said this to you? Mikoto: He doesn't have to, dear. A mother just knows. I mean, look -- *points at the sink* See that mess? He was standing in here for half an hour trying to make "the perfect pancakes" to take to his little friend. That doesn't sound like love to you? Itachi: But ... but Sasuke ... my sweet little baby brother ... Mikoto: He's not a baby anymore, dear. He's eleven, almost twelve. He's growing up, just like you. *chuckles* With as handsome as my boys are, it won't be long before I get to be called "grandma", eh? Mikoto: At any rate, please don't embarrass your brother with this, dear A boy's first love can be an emotional thing, and I don't — *Mikoto looks up; Itachi has disappeared* *a bit later* Naruto: Um ... Sasuke, this may sound paranoid, but, do you get the feeling that ... we're being watched? Sasuke: Watched? Who would be watching us? Naruto: I don't know, I just get the feeling of eyes on me, dattebayo. Heh, I'm probably just tired. *in the trees* Random Anbu 1: Itachi, are you sure this is part of our mission for today? Itachi, masked: Yes. Random Anbu 2: But they're just two kids eating some food ... and isn't one of them your brother?! Itachi: It's the blonde we're more focused on. Watch closely for any suspicious movements, like hugging, or hand-holding, or kissing. Random Anbu 1: And if we see these things? Are we supposed to attack, or -- ? Itachi, voice deepening: Then you leave him to ME. Anbus 1 and 2:

Third Wheel
summary: Sasuke is a cute third wheel that Itachi only slightly regrets allowing to tag along. ao3 link
word count: 2.6k
note: no uchiha massacre, Itachi and reader are both around 18 and Sasuke is like 12 (but still wants to follow his brother around everywhere)
Tumblr media
“Are you also going to the festival?”
The question is a silly one, considering Sasuke was watching as he adjusted his obi, but Itachi lets it slide without telling the younger one that he’d asked a question he clearly knew the answer to. As he aged Sasuke had definitely gotten a bit surly, being reminded that he asked stupid questions never helped with the angsty pre-teen mood swings and Itachi had no time to deal with that this evening.
“Yes, Sasuke, I am going to the festival. Are you going with Mother and Father, or your friends?”
“Yeah; I’m meeting Naruto there, but can I go with you?”
That puts Itachi in a conundrum. He wanted to spend time with his brother, since he very rarely did due to his work with the Anbu Corps, but he was also technically going to the festival with someone else. It was definitely a date, could he really bring his kid brother along on a date? Would you mind? Probably not, so long as Sasuke wasn’t annoying. But he was a kid, kids by nature were always a little annoying. It would be worse if Naruto ended up tagging along as a fourth wheel, since his essentially adopted younger brother had no filter, but they were easy to get rid of if needed. He was an Anbu captain and you were a special jonin, you both were more than capable of ditching a couple genin.
“Sasuke, your brother is going on a date tonight, you shouldn’t interfere.” At their mother’s intervention, Sasuke perks up considerably. Interest has been piqued, since Itachi had never so much as shown interest in another person before - at least, not like that. But to be on a date, he had to see the person at the very least.
“A date? With who?”
“A girl I know.” Is all Itachi says, smirk on his face at how immediately frustrated Sasuke gets at the lack of information. “If you’d like to go with me to the festival, that’s fine, but don’t plan on hanging out with me all night.”
“Yeah because I totally want to watch you make out with some girl all night.” That has Itachi rolling his eyes, but taking one look at Sasuke and laughing. The younger is confused, until Itachi gently tugged at the yukata the younger is wearing while saying, “You look like a ghost, little brother. I’ll be leaving in five minutes, if you’re not appropriately dressed and ready then I will leave without you.”
And it’s as he’s opening the door that Sasuke appears, quickly pulling his sandals on while letting Itachi know that he still had thirty seconds and the older sibling couldn’t leave yet. He can hear their mother laughing at them, and that has him smiling as he looks down at his younger brother before leaving the house ahead of him.
“Who is this girl anyway?” Sasuke asks as they walk through the compound, looking up at his brother and very intrigued by the smile on his face. Itachi smiled, but never like that. “Clearly she’s special.”
“She’s a special jonin, I believe you’ve met her before.”
“That doesn’t tell me who she is.”
“You’ll see when we meet up with her before you go on your way.”
Sasuke tries for the duration of their walk to figure out who it was. Admittedly, he didn’t know many of the female jonin nor could he think of any that were Itachi’s age so his attempts at guessing were few. Only to be floored when he sees who is standing by the entrance of the festival, dressed in a dark blue yukata that was decorated in red and white flowers. He knew who you were, you’d led one of his missions when Kakashi was otherwise busy, but he couldn’t think of your name.
“You’re late, Itachi Uchiha,” you scold playfully once they’re close, and Sasuke watches with interest as his brother leans in to kiss your cheek as he greets you simply. He had every ounce of your attention, the younger sibling not even so much as acknowledged yet and that was interesting to Sasuke. Usually he was the sibling who was noticed first, but that was always by Itachi’s design.
“Sorry, I picked up a straggler,”  Itachi comments, and you finally look away from him to the younger brother standing just behind him. “Sasuke, don’t be rude.”
“I wasn’t- ugh. Good evening,” he greets, and you’re giggling at the brothers before you give Sasuke your own greeting. “I haven't seen Naruto yet, he’ll probably be late.”
“You can hang out with us until he shows,” you offer as you accept Itachi’s outstretched hand, missing the way the older brother glares at the younger to try and intimidate him into declining the offer. But instead Sasuke smirks, knowing exactly what Itachi was trying to achieve and knowing that he was absolutely going to pay for this later when he accepts the offer. But it’d be worth it; seeing his older brother be a human being and not the perfect son or shinobi was more than worth it.
“You won’t even realize I’m here.”
“I’m going to pretend that you aren’t,” Itachi counters, getting another laugh from you before he starts to lead you through the crowds. “Have you eaten?”
“Not yet, but I’m not hungry,” Sasuke states, only to smile smugly up at his brother when Itachi glares at him. “You asked.”
“Not you. You’re not here, remember?” And then Itachi turns back to you, who watched the exchange with an amused smile. “Are you hungry?”
“I’m with Sasuke on this one. Let’s just walk around for a bit and see where everything is, then we can devise a plan of attack.” Your suggestion is met with a nod from both brothers, and you let Itachi pull you in close before fully entering the crowded walkway.
Sasuke is already bored after just a few minutes of wandering, listening to the older duo talk about recent missions and plans for later days. They weren’t even twenty yet and they talked like his parents did, which was pretty lame. He thought his brother would be more exciting - especially considering who his date was. He remembered you using a killer fire jutsu and being able to fend off five different attackers using taijutsu alone, but here you were clinging to his brother’s arm as you talked to him about the geographical specifics of the Land of Wind. Riveting content.
“Oh, Itachi, there’s a photographer! We should get a picture.”
“I think a picture is a great idea,” Sasuke butts in, earning yet another glare from his brother as you lead them to where the photographer was set up. He didn’t want to be in it, but now that Itachi thought he did, he was absolutely going to be in it. Their mother would love it.
And that’s how he ends up standing on his brother’s right while you lean into Itachi’s left side, posing for the camera like he would a school picture. The photographer requests that they get closer, so Itachi pulls him in with an arm around his shoulder before the flash goes off.
“I hope your eyes are closed,” Itachi mumbles to his brother, and Sasuke rolls his eyes as he looks around. Still no sign of Naruto or anybody he’d actually want to talk to (since he was also trying to avoid Sakura and Ino who he knew would be looking for him), and that has him bothered.
But then he sees the game stalls.
“Think you can beat me at those?” Sasuke challenges, earning a look from his brother as you look between them. Things were officially taking a turn, and you were clearly interested in seeing how this would unfold.
“A challenge, little brother? What’s your wager?”
“Just pride, for now.”
The “for now” has you letting out a soft “oooh”, which has Itachi giving your hand a squeeze before letting Sasuke know that he wasn’t going to lose to a genin at festival games. The challenge was on, and you find yourself watching from the side as they get set up at a kunai throwing game, the first in a row of different game stalls.
“No sharingan,” you call out before they can really get started, and Itachi looks over at you with a disappointed frown. Did he really need the sharingan to prove to his brother who had better aim? Would the sharingan even help against a solitary target that wasn’t a living being? “At least try to play fair.”
“Just be ready to pick out your prize.” Itachi counters, and you shake your head with a smile as he’s handed his dulled throwing weapons. He was so confident, and deservedly so as he was a once in a generation shinobi (perhaps even more rare), but these were just festival games and not necessarily intended for Anbu captains. Itachi wouldn’t need to try so hard to be successful at this game, but you fear he’ll try too hard and see failure for what was perhaps the first time.
Six kunai are thrown, but only four targets sound as if they’d been hit, and you’re moving to stand beside Itachi to see who’d missed. Sasuke had hit all three but Itachi, ever the showoff when he felt he needed to be, had thrown all three at one target and all were angled just right so they’d all land in the bullseye. Around you people chatter in awe at his display while Sasuke calls him a cheater, but you can’t help but smile at this side of Itachi coming out to play in public. This was usually reserved for when he was climbing through your window after midnight, for no reason other than the fact that he could and wanted to see you sooner than he would by using your front door. Drawing attention to himself in public was not something he liked to do at all, but you were going to enjoy his spectacles when he put them on.
“You will be the reason they ban shinobi from these games,” you chide, but Itachi is unfazed as he watches Sasuke pick out a plush frog. That was obviously going to be given to Naruto, but the elder sibling chooses not to comment.
“Your prize, dear?” That was part of this, and you’re looking at the variety with a thoughtful pout. They were all very cute, but you make your decision after a moment since one of the two you couldn’t get - matching with Sasuke would only add fuel to Itachi’s competitive fire and Sasuke’s desire for antics.
“I want a monkey, please.”
“Bet you can’t scoop more goldfish than me.” Sasuke prompts, and you’re quick to turn to the younger brother to shut that down.
“No goldfish,” you decline, accepting the monkey plush Itachi hands over and holding it to your chest as Sasuke huffs. “Depending on how far you two take this, we will all run out of hands to carry these things with. We don’t need to take fish home too.”
And so you continue, watching as Sasuke and Itachi go along the row of game stalls to settle the challenge that had been laid out. Itachi wins every time, and you start handing his winnings out to children since you did not need more than the monkey he’d won at the first game. At what you hope is the final game, you gently tug at Itachi’s arm to get his attention and smile when he looks back at you.
“Could you please let Sasuke win this one?”
“I’m not that kind of brother,” he murmurs, but knows that he’ll melt if you kept looking up at him like that.
“Be that kind of boyfriend, then? He’s not going to leave us until he beats you.”
A moment of consideration before he nods, and your smile widens when he mutters, “The things I’ll do for you.”
And you watch, clutching the monkey to your chest as they get ready to toss rings onto kunai handles. Naturally both Uchiha stand as if they’re preparing to throw a handful of shuriken at a target, which has you smiling to yourself. Shinobi habits never break easily.
“Well this is a surprise,” you hear Mikoto behind you, and look over your shoulder to see the approaching parents of your boyfriend and his younger brother. “I thought Sasuke would be off with Naruto by now.”
“We thought so, too,” you start, looking back as the brothers start throwing rings. “But now they’re competing so I’m sure Sasuke forgot about meeting his friends.”
“What’s the score?” Fugaku asks, and you grin when you see Sasuke celebrating his victory as Itachi looks at you.
“Now it’s officially seven-one. I saved your household from goldfish, too.”
“We appreciate it,” Mikoto laughs, gently squeezing your shoulder as Itachi approaches with your consolation prize: a small weasel stuffed animal. “You took your defeat like a real man, Itachi.”
“Thank you, mother, I wasn’t going to let him win but someone asked nicely.” His arm is around you now, pulling you into his side and you nod your agreement. Sasuke is telling Naruto about how he beat Itachi, and you feel relieved that now you’d finally be able to have your date without a younger sibling whose primary instinct was to annoy his brother.
“Aright, later losers.”
“Manners, Sasuke!” Mikoto scolds, now alerting her youngest son to her presence and that has the boy turning bright red.
“It’s fine, truly. We know who the real loser was tonight anyway,” you assure, and Itachi waves off his brother who is quick to leave to avoid getting into more trouble with his parents.
“Well we’ll let you two go off on your own finally,” Fugaku states, and Itachi nods as he rubs your back while trying to be mindful of your obi. “Have fun, make sure to stop by that photographer.”
“And thank you for letting Sasuke tag along.”
“He was no trouble,” you assure before Itachi excuses you both and pulls you away. “Do you want to beat me at the ring toss to reclaim your pride?”
“I’d let you win,” he declines the offer, and you nod as you hand him your large monkey so you can properly wrap your arms around him. “I didn’t expect Sasuke to be around for so long. I’m sorry that he cut into our time together.”
“Please don’t worry about it,” you request, stopping when he does and looking up at him. He looks worried, and you’re not sure why since you had offered to let Sasuke tag along. “He’s your family, and I know spending time with him means a lot to you too.”
“At some point he’ll be your family, I hope.”
“You’ve gotta get better at the ring toss first,” you tease, laughing when he uses the monkey to mock you. “You’re such a sore loser!”
“I just hope you’ll make it up to me. I lost for you, after all.”
“Did you really want to spend the night with your brother trying to beat you at festival games?”
“No, but I’ve realized that I’ve made quite the error tonight.”
“I truly mean it when I say that I don’t mind that Sasuke was-” you’re cut off by a kiss, one that was truly unique to Itachi. Tender and sweet, his movements languid as he tries to bring you in closer despite the large stuffed animal in his hand making things a bit more difficult.
“The error wasn’t my brother,” he murmurs against your mouth, and you hum inquisitively. “The error was that I hadn’t properly kissed you yet because I was preoccupied by my brother. I hope that’s been corrected.”
“You’re more than forgiven, but can we go get food now?”

what do you think of kakashi
uhhhhh
kakashi is a character i try not to talk about because i know his fandom is rabid and way too big but let me do an exception because i have an exam in a few hours and i need to get distracted
anyways. kakashi’s character is like sakura to me in which i like the possible scenarios i can create with them because i find them funny or interesting but as a character alone i cant really find anything interesting to like. and just like with sakura kakashi is one of those characters that the fandom has completely changed from how they are in canon than most of the fan content about them is unappealing to me because its like seeing a whole different character. he also gets the itachi treatment where people see them being bootlickers and go Well he was traumatized as a child and brainwashed by the system and yes sure thats true but, hes not a kid anymore. he’s a grown man a little bit of retrospection wont hurt him and yet…
that being said i like the fanarts.
also i enjoy thinking of his dynamic w sasuke (my enjoyment of everything is only through things i can connect to sasuke) but in the way they are genuinely in canon like “oh here’s another adult figure that failed me” and “oh here’s a child i care for but all my care is useless because i keep projecting myself and my traumas into him” < which is very fucked up and not the dad-son dynamic people give them in fanon but whats new

Sorry in advance for asking all these things 😭 but first up, your oc is cool! She’s so stylish as heck! She gives me that 80s funky/chill vibe and her hair is flawless! And I adore for bond with sasuke so much, Ahh. Would it be ok to ask about their lore together? How did they meet and bond together like mother and son? (And kakashi too! He’s papa).
Plus, I also appreciate all the Sasuke positivity so much. From your drawings to random posts. It’s so refreshing and uplifting for me. There’s to much negativity for the poor kid these days. And I greatly respect the “my son!” Feeling to for sasuke. I to get that parent vibe haha (sasuke is little guy no matter what, must squish respectfully).
And for atla, if your oc and characters you like. What benders would they be? And if they are besties with any of the Alta crew?
-
P.s; i do Like seeing the snake positivity! It’s wonderful seeing that. Poor things also get bad rap as well. (I like seeing hognoses, they are cute!! Myself I wish I had one and tarantulas😭) ANYWAYS, TY FOR POSITIVE CONTENT SO MUCH. Be well and have a great day/night! Sorry again for the long ask!
Never ever be sorry for sending an ask! I love love getting them and getting to chat w lovely pals like you! So thank you for popping over to send me an ask ❤︎₊ ⊹  You are always welcome to ask about my lil fam! I will try to keep it short and sweet lol ₊⊹ Ahhh thank you so much for saying so, Akami is very very dear to me! I’m glad u think she’s got a bit of a retro vibe. I always see her fitting in well w that 90s-ish style from the 80s to the 00’s ! (I actually have a 90's au for them too)
Shisui was one of Akami's first childhood friends and later her first lil love. She goes w Shisui to meet Sasuke when she’s 13yr, he’s only a few weeks old but the second she holds him and his chubby baby hand swipes her chin she falls in love. Bc of her relationship with Shisui Akami spends more and more time around Sasuke— he’d be tagging along after the big kids, but she always made time for him. Even if it was 20 extra minutes before a mission or after a long day of training, she’d hide her injuries and play with him instead. She’s one of many Anbu called to the scene the night of the Uchiha massacre. The second she found him all alone she knew she was taking him home and she quit Anbu that night.  Akami never felt heard or seen as a child so she tries her best to make sure that Sasuke has a voice. She didn’t intend to take on a parental role; it just happened over the years. She’s always open about his family and ready to listen when he confides in her, she teaches him every single uchiha jutsu she knows (and eventually kakashi does too) so Sasuke can still feel connected to his Clan. She gets him through his nightmares and defends him tooth and nail, she teaches him how to cook and use a sword. No matter what, he's always gonna be her baby and she’ll be his Kami-chan. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for him.  Akami and Kakashi knew each other as kids, they did not get along until their traumas sort of forced them to see eye to eye and rely on each other.  But it wasn’t a friendship until their early-mid teens, even then it always felt like more. Shortly after she takes in Sasuke they start a tumultuous FWB only to realize they very obviously love each other. Sasuke approves bc Kakashi makes Akami happy and is always there for her (for better or worse) and Kakashi and Sasuke start to have a very meaningful connection well before he becomes his sensei.  Yes parent squad ! Sasuke deserves the world and I love that you love him too!!<3 In ATLA Akami would be a water bender, she’s a descendant of the Yuki clan so it just seems fitting for her heritage! Tho I’d be wary of her healing abilities, she’s more of a fighter and I would not put it past her to learn how to blood bend! (She was Anbu Root for a reason💀)  Sasuke is fire bb! Kakashi I go back and forth on but I think he would be fire too .I love love love love ATLA and have tried to make an au for her but I find it hard to imagine Akami interacting w the gang (They all just feel so young lol- though she’d probably like Suki and Zuko best) I think that she would get along really well with Piandao! June, Jet and Iroh too. She’d def feel some sort of kinship for Azula (ruthless + manipulative never taught to love, w similar mommy and daddy issues!🤝lol) Yes Yes! I love snakes, they are so beautiful !! When I made my oc I really wanted to have her be ostracized because of her father and resemblance so it’s so fun to play w both the beauty and monstrous qualities for her. 🐍Akami and her summons Ryū are based off of mangrove pit vipers and Copper bellied water snakes ! Thank you again for the ask! I could blab about them all day if my super long winded response wasn’t proof lol 💕💕Take care my dear and have lovely day and or night :)

Hey!! (animeomegas here <3) I don't know anything about jjk, but I love actor AUs and I was wondering if you have any fun ideas for Naruto, the arcana or Mystic messenger? For some reason I've been imagining how a Mystic Messenger TV show would work and sketching out poster ideas for it 😫 This isn't really intended as a request, I just want to hear your stream of thought haha. Hope you've been having a wonderful day! <33
Hi @animeomegas I actually had a really long day but it was nice! I got a lot of things done. I hope you also had a good day ^^. So, okay okay okay you know I love casual stream of thought... and talking ahaha, and I also love behind the camera drama (I am also avoiding any wip work because 9+ hours at work fried the thesaurus bit of my brain)
Naruto
Naruto is such a specifically anime show. The budget for a complete 1:1 live action remake would probably make people so mad, there would have to be so much CGI for the final battle.
I feel like it could work for actors au as either:
1. Make Naruto a movie series. It's probably got a cult following like Star Wars and started off as some kind of original idea in the 70s and then got acquisitioned by a huge conglomerate in the 90s-2000s era, and had enough films (like the fast and furious franchises XD, so... eight at least) that it was able to cover all the material up until our time lol.
I actually went and reviewed the arcs because I love procrastination through research oop, but if you cut out/combine the filler arcs/turn them into serialized shows for streaming, you're left with enough material for about 3 movies from genin-days (when the actors Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura age from 11-14) and 5 movies from the shippuden era (there the main trio actors age from 16-24)
Playing off that nostalgia factor, Jiraiya's actor either played Minato or Naruto in the 70s film. He's since become a very famous actor/producer/director. Kakashi's father also played Kakashi's character in the original 70s film, so having him return as Sakumo for the Pein arc was a little Easter egg. There's a couple of instances of this throughout the series. For example, Madara is actually played by the same actor who played Sasuke in the og series, and the makeup used to age him in the flashback arcs gets high praise. Hashirama is played by the same kid who played Rock Lee in the first films too. Tsunade was played by the same girl who was either Ino in the original, etc.
Kind of like marvel, there's a ton of actors who are only sort of or not very famous when the films start, and the kids are certainly no-name actors (kind of [Sakura reads to me like a former disney-channel kid lol]), and then as the films get wildly popular, the franchise gains the Midas touch and even all of the recurrent minor characters get arcs/spinoffs/or see further success in their careers.
And as with marvel, it truly becomes like... everyone famous in a certain generation was in the Naruto franchise.
Sasuke had some actual industry connections prior to casting, but that was only because his brother was a young up-and-coming model. They sort of spring-boarded one anothers' careers. Playing the franchise characters traumatized them oop, and irl they're very close. There's a noticeable uptick in viewership for compilation videos of the Uchiha brothers being best siblings after about movie 6 when Sasuke finally kills Itachi and movie 7's fight with Kabuto is one of the most watched clips ever.
Also marvel-esque, I think people have mixed opinions about the ending lol (just like they do the anime) because on one hand, explosions! amazing visual effects! the whole ensemble ready to assemble! stacked nostalgia value! answers to some of the most asked fandom questions! amazing physical feats (Naruto and by extension Sasuke mostly insist on doing their own stunts)! and on the other... you have some of the thousand story threads being lost in the sauce, lackluster characterization for a some of the ladies, leaning perhaps too much on nostalgia value, complete obliteration of power scaling, suddenly there's almost too much content, and you have to have watched all three spinoff series to understand some of the in-world references, also fighting between the original concept creator and head writer and the production teams :p (yes this is Io being too literal haha)
2nd option: The Naruto characters all belong to the same representative entertainment company (think SM or YG /pulls face because cabal culture disturbs me/). I think this is more like an idols AU, and the relationships are significantly more catty and have more drama, but they're all actors/other entertainment related career lol so it's also kind of actors au?
The company probably tried for a ninjas/powers theme during recruitment and promotion so that's where you get Kakashi associated with dogs and lightning, Sasuke associated with snakes and later hawks and fire, Naruto associated with frogs and wind, Sakura associated with slugs and healing, Itachi associated with crows and dreams, Haku associated with ice and mirrors, Sai associated with tigers and ink, Tenzo/Yamato associated with trees, Gaara associated with tanuki and sand etc.
Itachi and Sasuke have an infamous rivalry that never really "resolves" so much as disappears because Itachi retires for a few years to deal with physical and mental health issues. It would be during this time he goes public with a relationship and he gets married before making a comeback. Even after the brothers reconcile and do projects together, people still bring up their Fighting Era and it pisses Sasuke off because the public doesn't really know what happened and he hates the speculation. Part of the controversy is that Sasuke left the company only a few years after signing on, joined a small rival company that was later embroiled in scandal, and then returned to the same company as his brother right around the time Itachi took a break.
Kakashi is the oldest of the "new generation" that's promoted during that time, but he's a very successful child actor turned model and adult actor. He did a bunch of shows that have great repeat value though so he basically lives off residuals and picks his projects and is very obvious but rather quiet about the ways he critiques the current entertainment industry. He's very good friends with Tenzo, stagename Yamato
Haku is a musician first and an actor second. He made his debut as part of a short lived idol group before going solo and starting musical stages. He's an up and coming favorite for historical dramas.
Gaara and Naruto are child actors who have been best friends for ages and help one another work through the inevitable industry challenges. They separately become really popular role models for kids from their hometowns. Kankuro is Gaara's personal rock in the working world, even though Kankuro's bad-boy image and slightly freaky aesthetic don't surface level seem to match with Gaara's more reserved and authentic method of dealing with the constant press.
Shikamaru and Nagato both separately give me musician/model vibes, but in different genres. Shikamaru quits the music thing very quickly to become a producer lol because more math and less fighting with fickle public opinion.
Mystic Messenger
If you sketch the the poster idea you haaaave to post it, please pretty please Amy?? Because you're so right, the whole plot is absolutely like a thriller/romcom kdrama. (Because the characters are well fleshed out it could also work with preserving the character backstories but have them all have entered acting later on.)
I looked up some Kdrama posters and the one where the leads for "because this is my first life" are standing in a stylized apartment balcony reminded me somewhat of thee game, mostly because the MC is stuck in the apartment for a good portion of the seven days lol.
If the whole Mystic Messenger plot were a drama...
MC is probably a rookie actor with one or two well done but not widely distributed productions under their belt.
Yoosung was maybe a child-actor which makes the whole ingenue thing kind of funny for his fans. Like yes, this is his first "adult role" (his baby face means he otherwise plays a lot of high schoolers) but it's this odd mixture of experience meaning he plays the role perfectly, but lack of experience with normal people resulting in a lot of blushing and stammering and totally tunnel vision flirting during the press tour haha.
I'd love for Jumin to come from a similar but less severe situation as game-Jumin. Like maybe his father has remarried a bunch of times, but he actually gets along with the stepmother who's been his mother for most of his life and he takes her to premiers with him. He grew up poor so he finds playing a lot of wealthy heirs type characters because of his looks to be a very strange turn of events, but he overall doesn't talk about his past much in public.
Hmmm, Jaehee seems the type to play a lot of severe characters in her usual roles because of her appearance, but like game-Jaehee she's got a very cute and adorable side that's coupled with a very genuine personalty. The interviewers probably make her do a lot of aegyo T.T poor Jaehee. She probably also worked her way through a prestigious drama school, either in-country or abroad, so she loves to read.
Zen always offers to do the aegyo with Jaehee so she doesn't have to suffer alone haha. He on the other hand never went to drama school, he's been acting since he was about 17 so all his training was in-company, although his company helped to put him through college where he did an advertising and media degree. He didn't have the exposure Jaehee did to classical media and arts, so they are irl very good friends who bond over their interest in business and Zen's interest in gaining a deeper understanding of acting and theater.
I see 707 as the person who was probably an idol musician before he started acting and mostly left group music behind. I've never played his route through, but he seems like the kind of person who is sometimes frustratingly talented lol. He is a natural at almost everything he tries which sometimes stresses him out because he wonders if there's something else he should be doing besides acting.
V seems like the kind of person however who was maybe a model first, and then turned to acting? I hate to say this, but it's the kind of situation where his incredible looks and sweet irl personality have garnered him a very devoted following but his parts in dramas tend to be second-string or somewhat minor or... kind of weird lol, and when he is the lead the show is usually only "okay" because the writing will be strange 😅 which is technically not his fault, but to be honest most of his income comes from promotional deals.
You like Saeran, right? so I won't leave him out! He's got this doe-eyed look that makes me think of a new debut actor! This is also one of his first major roles so he and MC lean on each other a lot and have to work hard to make sure their relationship off-screen is comfortable because they have so many scary intense scenes later on. He and 707 are either irl siblings, or just because so close during filming that they're truly like brothers now and 707 is always seen supporting Saeran, especially when Saeran decides to venture into the music scene and his vocal style and color means he explodes into popularity almost right away.
The Arcana
Somehow I can see this becoming an HBO drama? or maybe an Akuzon special because it's very good about placing lgbtq themes in-world (which was sort of groundbreaking when the game debuted). This one is so hard because each route gradually ended up diverging so much and in such different ways and expanding on the world in such a rewarding diversity of directions that you could truly have a beautiful, successful show no matter what route was filmed.
You could potentially have a Witcher-type situation where you really do have multiple routes and timeline splitting. If someone who's got a really good editing team working with a really tight writing team I think they could do it.
But otherwise, this is another situation where the main cast has had friend configurations for a While and doing this project brought them all closer together!
Ilya and Asra have known one another probably the longest industry-wise. They did a smaller well received indie film once about five years before Arcana with the vaguest of nods to brokeback mountain (I've never seen it, sorry) but a much happier road trip lovers plot, so having to play disillusioned, one-sided pining ex-lovers who had a very toxic last year to their relationship is... something XD.
Asra and Muriel have been personal friends since their days as students - they went to the same camps and programs to study acting and in their interviews, they have a fun time talking about some personal anecdotes (like the fact they did indeed frequently camp at a lakeside together as children) which made it into their own characters' backstories.
Nadia and Lucio are very Nikolaj/Gwendoline during their press and off-screen interactions. They find their characters' personas to be sort of hilariously poorly matched.
Portia is a famously hard working actress who clawed her way through the world of cinema and still managed to stay a decent, well grounded person. She's not actually related to Ilya irl but they got along really well from the beginning so there's lots of videos of them acting like siblings off screen.
Because the on-site shoots for Arcana required so much travel, the cast got to spend a lot of bonding time together, and saw a ton of unique places. The cast always has stories of swimming and hiking or trying new food or pictures of each other at famous sites during their days off. Muriel is actually the one who plans the outdoor adventures the best, he was an athlete and had military training before becoming an actor and he loves being outside so he'll lead these kinds of outings. People adore his social media because he's got that outdoors guy vibe but he's very sweet and he smiles a lot more irl than his roles usually do.
Portia and Julian are the most likely to get lost in any place, but they're also super fun to travel with because they always find interesting people and places that are off the beaten path.
Nadia and Asra have the most normal but also most aesthetic social media feeds. They always seem able to catch the golden hour light somehow...
After Arcana, they each often end up cast in or around the same movies/franchises/series as well, because they do work very well together. The show also helped them break out of some type casting, to their delight.
Lucio trends towards action and romcom films, he does often get typecast as some kind of villain, but his redemption arc in Arcana actually helped him break into more of the antihero type roles. He can be adorably goofy at times.
Nadia used to play the femme fatale quite frequently but since Arcana she's been able to take on softer roles, still often playing a woman in power, but she's been able to mix and cross genres. She also has been working on a screenplay and wants to try directing.
Portia was famous before Arcana but the show helped enter her into some of the more mainstream conversation and she has her first action-type role soon after Arcana ends.
Asra has a delicate physique and had some trouble in the past with being passed over roles that required more "force of presence" in the past. However, since showing his side as the secretive, enigmatic, manipulative magician, he's been able to try on the hats of villains, return to some roles on the true stage (his first love), and play the lead in a more serious political thriller.
Muriel had the opposite problem with his large build often precluding him from anything but action films. Since Arcana he's been able to try a few romantic lead parts, and has embraced his popularity by searching out meaningful mid-budget films where he can broaden his talents.
Julian is very tall, so he used to play quite a few more domineering, dastardly types in the films he did before Arcana. The show also brought him into the spotlight. He still does well as the sneering, dangerous, tall and dark type, but he's found that he can and is willing to push for playing something softer, someone who follows instead of leads in the on-screen dynamics. You and Ilya end up in a bodyguard type of drama at some point where he spends a lot of time on his knees swearing his devotion and playing a lot of subtext lol.
MC in this seems like they would have been a more experienced actor before taking on the linchpin role for Arcana, but the show granted you the experience to step into other roles both in front of and behind the camera and we'll probably see an MC directed and produced short film or indie film within the next few years!

Pleaaaseee there is a tier list on ships from Naruto would love to see that one!
Okay I found a decent list to fill in, here you go:
Tumblr media
There were many ships that are completely random so I just threw them all into one category..
About the last category
SakuLee.. I actually thought they were going to be a thing when I first saw the show because no way Sasuke was ever going to give in to her advances. And I was right about that last part because he didn't. And gradually Sakura was little by little being a bit nicer about Lee when she decided to visit him at the hospital.. and wow!! For her, that's amazing development because at the time and even now her entire character is based on that selfish love (Kishimoto's words not mine) she has for Sasuke. And so she even said to Ino that the flowers she brought with her weren't just for Sasuke- it was explicitly stated in the Manga- so that visual AND text said a whole lot about her... buuuuuut then that went down the drain real fast too. And so, no this ship doesn't make sense but I think it could've been if x, y and z..
ObiRin!! Okay, I know I have KakaRin in the category where I get that people ship it, but not ObiRin- why? Because Rin loved Kakashi and not Obito. And so shipping ObiRin for me doesn't make sense since I am also against other one-sided ships. Rin to me however is an entirely different character from.. let's say Sakura or Hinata and so are the dynamics between them within Team Minato. Rin genuinely cares for both Obito and Kakashi equally, but she doesn't love Obito in a romantic sense. She also didn't chase after Kakashi rabidly trying to get him to like her back, that's why, although Rin showed many gestures towards Obito that really shouldn't be underestimated, I wonder how it would've played out with Kakashi under different circumstances. His resolve and beliefs were already swaying during that mission thanks to Obito- if they succeeded, perhaps Kakashi grew up learning to love that way. Perhaps that would've been Rin. (Or maybe not.)
SakuHina.. just put them together and let them be miserable together? I see many benefits from this tbh. Two of the most selfish characters to have ever existed if not the most selfish characters ever- lump them together, never bother anyone else- problem solved.
SaiIno.. I don't really have a problem with this ship but.. Sai is really gay. I'm sorry but what is he doing with Ino? He found her ugly and they're pretty much together for the sake of.. well kids/next gen stuff. For Ino I think it's fine, Sai sorta looks like Sasuke so it makes sense for her.. but Sai being in love with Ino, canonically? Weird. I know, SaiIno shippers will fight me on it, that's fine, you people have great art though, I'm not complaining.
Jiraiya/Tsunade.. I haven't really seen them being shipped together other than places like IG and Reddit. And some of them were really protective of them- Jiraiya would've always put his WoF above Tsunade which she accepted... why is this a good ship? I don't have much to say for this other than my surprise of their popularity..
Choji and Karui.. apparently their relationship was "explained" in filler novels. Choji simply said he was "interested in her". So they married and made a baby for 'Boruto'. Although 'Boruto-canon', this shit makes no sense.
ShikaIno, look I shipped them. I mean, I used to when I first watched the show because I liked their team-work and I thought Ino's very extra behavior balanced well with Shikamaru's more calm nature. I mean, if anything, he had misogynistic thoughts which he sometimes voiced out loud.. so perhaps a bit ignorant at the time, but I thought Ino was the one helping him with that development partly because of her appearance (since well.. the genre..) instead of Temari, but alas. And I think this is better anyway.
KankuSaku.. LISTEN! Hear me out~ Ship makes no sense at all. BUT. She came all the way from Konoha, saved his life just in time, playing doctor in a way where she didn't need to be all worshipped as a Mary Sue in some weird- godforsaken jail (ESAKA TAKE NOTES), but actually was useful because she learned, developed and took action- then bonded with Chiyo which Kankuro also somewhat has a relationship with- whom he then takes care of the puppets for after she dies.. there are connections and things that can be used to have them bond over. MISSED OPPORTUNITY OKAY- that's all I'm sayin'.
Most of you know how I feel about Sakura, but one of the scenes where I think she DID very much shine (as most of her fans think she so much deserves for some reason)- is when she tried her best to befriend Sai who actually was pretty rude at the beginning. It was Sakura who asked him what he was drawing when she went out to find him and what it meant to him. It was Sakura who tried to figure out more about him to see if she could help him (and their case) somehow- which surprised me pleasantly!! She for once didn't do this for selfish reasons. Now, both Sakura and Sai don't really grasp situations well especially when it comes to Naruto and Sasuke, but they sorta bonded over it a little. Sai while genuinely wanting to understand and Sakura while genuinely wanting to deny. It's not a ship, nor a really good ship- Because Sai.. and Sakura.. but I still wanted to point it out.
*-* anyway- there is too much to say about so many of these, I'll think I'll try to keep it short 💕

Found Families and Why We Love Them
Dominic Toretto once said "I don’t have friends, I got family" with that in mind, that will be our intro for today! Although we find that iconic line cheesy as cheese, the audience loves a great found-family setup.
Something about how a bunch of misfits and inconsiderate douchebags developing to be a family of their own in spite of their quirkiness and tragic backgrounds makes us love them more than the typical and already functional groups. Like most families, there is the father, the mother, and the child. The rest is kind of subjective.
I've talked a little bit about actual families via [The Addams Family] but I think Found Families are a different breed. Let's discuss that and explain why we love them so much~
Tumblr media
- Crows Never Forget -
While conversing with a friend I've met on Tumblr. My friend suggested that I should watch the show < Shadow and Bone > based on the Grisha Trilogy by [Leigh Bardugo] The story mainly follows Alina Starkov who lives in a world divided by the haunting dark cloud placed at the center of the three counties known as; The Fold.
Aside from the main plot you can already guess if you know enough fiction. The show features a merry band of dangerous outcasts. The Six of Crows from Ketterdam. Led by the cunning leader; Kaz "Dirty Hands" Brekker.
Tumblr media
The team is supported by, Inej Ghafa The Assassin, Nina Zenik The Heartrender, Jesper Fahey The Sharpshooter, Matthias Helvar The Convict, and Wylan Van Eck The Runaway. Like every group that shares this type of beat. The teammates do not trust one another and are only united for the cause.
This will develop as the series goes on and their trust will change from strangers to allies to family beneath the backdrop of a sinfully cut-throat and exciting city. While the series only showed Five of the Six so far. I've grown very quickly to love this group for their chemistry and their respective motivations to stay as a team.
Tumblr media
What's so interesting to watch is, despite how typical this trope is. I still couldn't keep my eyes off this concept. It's so much fun to see the Six interact even though for now, it's just Kaz, Inej, and Jesper (also, The Goat; Milo) planning a heist to kidnap our heroine. On the other end of the world, we learn about Matthias and Nina. The Convict and The Witch (Matthias's words, not mine)
Dysfunctional groups like these feel very human. They don't act like they care for the world or for one another but instead, grow in the process.
Similarly, another dysfunctional group called < The Guardians of The Galaxy > shares the same vibes as the Six. Their talent is great but it's their destructive tendencies or personal vendettas that make them less like heroes. Rather, they are people who just so happened to be doing heroics.
Tumblr media
- Where is your Supervisor? -
Part of the trick in making fun found families is the will to condense the group down to about four or three characters. In most Shonen manga/ anime, the main character (eg, Naruto) is often supported by a lancer character (eg, Sasuke) and the heart (eg, Sakura) There is also the mentor/senior (eg, Kakashi) and it will always be these four. Other examples like Harry (Potter) and Co are good samples of the main trio with a mentor (Hagrid).
It's rare that we find trios with no mentor figure. Such is the case of another show I recently watched, < Lockwood and Co > based on the book series by [Jonathan Stroud] For a quick summary, Lockwood is set in London with one big exception. The city/ world at large is haunted by lethal ghosts (AKA The Problem) and only kids can sense them. Therefore, fight them.
Tumblr media
The main cast consists of Anthony Lockwood, the cool and fearless badass gentleman who is strongest with Sight. George Karim, an all-rounder but a highly talented Researcher. Finally, our main character, Lucy Carlyle. An incredibly talented girl who's the most gifted with Hearing and Touch. Unlike the other agencies which are by the book and led by a Supervisor (an adult). Lockwood is purely independent but is unfortunately small and always in trouble with the law due to their incredibly dangerous methods.
Still, they are the best at what they do. Hunting ghosts while solving the bigger mystery behind The Problem. Despite their terrible coordination, the team has proven themselves to be better and far more personal with the cases they crack. Making it less like a job.
They are reminders that less is better. The cast plays the role of Hero, Lancer, and Heart very well and their chemistry is great and funny. Anthony and Lucy will sometimes bud heads, George will do his own thing making two of his partners incredibly proud and, you might see some tender/real moments between them.
Tumblr media
Lockwood also removes the typical hero's journey of losing a mentor figure and instead makes the characters each other's mentors. The team relies on one other with their lives to survive every mission and navigate through life as a whole.
It felt more organic for them to grow together because there's a sense for when an adult shares a piece of advice (no matter how good it is) feels very smug and dull. The characters feel like actual teens because the setting for the agency sounds like something actual teens will do. Break the rules and do right for the fun or for some deep-rooted conspiracy that the world has yet to know.
Tumblr media
- You Chose The Wrong Side! -
From the dysfunctional groups like the Six or the Guardians to the power of Three. There is one other interesting layer to the Found Family troupe. The Disbanded Found Family.
While most stories tell of how the team came to be, rare stories tell of how they split off and are no longer on speaking terms. For a while, The MCU's Avengers were at war with one another during < Captain America; Civil War > With Steve Rogers and Tony Stark budding heads harshly over the Sokovia Accords.
Seeing a well-rounded team break up is difficult for the characters and the audience because. For all the disagreements they had with one another, they've developed along the way to be close like a family. Seeing them split is like watching a divorce happening on screen and it's heartbreaking and sometimes a little bit awesome because you've got the best of the best competing to declare their superiority.
Tumblr media
Perhaps one of the best examples I have seen is through < Kuroko No Baskue > where our main character; Tetsuya Kuroko entered High School and vowed to defeat/ beat some sense to his Former Junior High School Basketball Team with his newfound team; Seirin High
Kuroko's former team is famously known as The Generation of Miracles; an elite team of young talents that excel on the court, thus making them prodigies of their generation.
The Miracles consist of; Daiki Aomine (The Power Forward Beast), Shintarō Midorima (The Star Shooter), Atsushi Murasakibara (The Ultimate Center), Seijūrō Akashi (The Emperor's Eye) and Ryōta Kise (The Perfect Copycat) From the little we have seen, the team is passionate about the sport they play and they share a very brotherly relationship with one another.
Tumblr media
As the series develops, we learn more about their personal relationships with Kuroko and with each other. We see the infighting between them and we learn about how their respective egos build. We learn about their vow during graduation and we get to see them reunited once again.
The series as a whole function in two ways. Kuroko develops new relationships with his new team and Kuroko confronts his old team to mend their relationship. It tackles the dysfunctional team setup at its lowest state and rekindles the flame for the respective parties to be healed. Also, it's really cool to see such a colorful cast together.
Tumblr media
- I Didn't Pick The Damn Team! -
With that said, it's a wonder for why Found Families are a timeless troupe no matter the settings. But, like how Amanda Waller sets up Task Force X/ The Suicide Squad. Sometimes it's not by choice and it always starts out bumpy.
What I find fun in teams like the ones mentioned is that they share a common language in spite of their unique flavors. The teams are built on trust, a common goal, and the willingness to open up. For all the gimmicks, the core values stay the same.
Tumblr media
We, the audience love a good Found Family because in an indirect way. We wanted a group like that. We longed to have a group that we can call family but, the reality of it all is. It's really up to how the characters interact with one another.
Every circle is different and no matter the status or the seasons. All are maintained by the will to reach out. It's something I hope to use for my own team in the process. To have [Them be there for you, Cause you're there for Them too]
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading

Naruto Team 7/Team Kakashi Tickle HC
Tumblr media
AN: I've seen all of Naruto and up to season 3 of Shippuden so just keep that in mind if I don't have all my Naruto facts right. Also I wanted to throw Sai and Kakashi into this one as a bonus since these boys don't get enough love in the tk community so thats why there are in there too lol
and also...
NO WAY THERE'S ALMOST 100 OF YOU GUYS NOW!! TYSM IK I DONT HAVE THE BEST POSTING SCHEDUAL BUT IM SO HAPPY THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANNA SEE MY WRITING HSHFDJHSH
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Naruto:
- 50% lee + 50% ler
- So like canonically this silly boy is tklish and has been tkled a bit through the show
- So like I hc that most of his friends already know his spots and when he’s being annoying they poke his side and are like “stop or I’ll keep going”
- And the poor dumb boy is just ignores the warning which ends in him getting wrecked
- His spots are his sides, his underarms, his neck, his little face whiskers, and his hips
- Normally tkled by Sakura, Iruka, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Sasuke, and anyone else he happens to piss off from time to time
- His laugh is really breathy and giggly too so at first people would always tickle him a little bit then let him go bc they think he’s had enough
- But ofc Naruto has almost infinite energy so this would lead to…
- REVENGE TICKLES
- As a ler Naruto is ruthless
- Like if he needs to he’ll cheat and use shadow clones to help tickle his lee
- Naruto is def a rougher tickler, he likes to really dig into the lees spots
- Also he dosent rlly know how to tease but he does it by accident all the time
- “Gosh you’re so ticklish!”
- “You should smile like this all the time!”
- “You’re laugh is so silly it makes me want to laugh!”
- Like bro stfu you’re ticklish too
- Normally targets Sasuke, Sakura, Gaara, Konohamaru, and sometimes Hinata
Sasuke:
- 70% lee + 30% ler
- My mans is ticklish af
- So like when he was little I’m sure Itachi probably tkled him a lot before he had the whole killing spree
- So Sasuke knows he’s ticklish but never told anyone bc he was embarrassed abt it
- He sees tickling as a weakness so he never took part in it until he was put on Team 7
- Like he would see Sakura tickle Nartuo sometimes and so he would do it too
- Poor baby didn’t know what he was getting into
- And ofc Nars would go for revenge tickles so then they all found out Sasuke was tklish
- Normally tkled by Sakura, Naruto, Kakashi, Kiiba, and Shino
- His spots are his knees, back, under arms, sides, and his abs
- As a ler he would start off shy then get more sadistic
- Like he would tickle Naruto and at first just stay straight faced but slowly he would start to smile with him
- Big teaser
- “You’d think a shinobi wouldn’t be taken down like this”
- “I wonder what would happen if anyone else found out about this… I don’t think you would last a day without being tickled like this”
- “This is so embarrassing for you huh? Would it be better if I had someone else help me wreck you next time?”
- “Sorry you’re laughing too much for me to understand you!”
- Likes to pin down his lees
- Can and will use Sharigan to find his lee’s spots
- Tickle fights with Naruto are a normal occurrence
- Targets Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi if Naruto and Sakura help him
Sakura:
- 50% lee 50% ler
- Averagely tklish
- Squeaky laugh
- Like a mouse
- She finds it a bit embarrassing
- Tickled by Naruto if she’s having a bad day or if she just need cheering up
- Sometimes Sasuke helps if she is feels especially upset
- Her spots are her sides, her back, her neck, and her ears
- When she was a kid Ino took advantage of her ticklishness by poking her every time she went to go pick up a flower
- As a ler Sakura is normally really soft and sweet
- That is of course if you aren’t on her bad side
- She saves her ruthless ler skills for a specific energetic blond teammate of hers
- With most everyone else she skitters and spiders her finger lightly over her lees spots
- (She’ll also throw in a few pokes here and there)
- Doesn't normally tease but if she does it's always soft and sweet
- "I love hearing you laugh!"
- "You're doing do well!"
- Targets Naruto, (sometimes) Sasuke, Ino, and anyone else who might be having a bit of a bad day
Sai:
- 70% ler 30% lee
- Not very tklish but he has a few spots that get him laughing
- Tklish ears, neck, and knees 100%
- The first to find out was Naruto (by accident ofc)
- He isn't tkled often but when he is his laugh is quiet and deep
- As a ler though you should run
- Can and will use his paint brushes to tickle his lees
- Loves painting on his lees too
- If he invites you to be a canvas for him DONT GO
- or do
Kakashi:
- 80% ler 20% lee
- Big big ler
- He'll tk his students if they are having a hard day or get back from a hard mission and need to relax
- Nars is normally his victim lol
- Like if everyone is bickering he'll ask Naruto to come up to him. then he like pins him down and tkls him
- The whole time he just keeps talking about missions and normal stuff while giving Sasuke and Sakura this look thats like "loosen up or you're next"
- He tries to go easy on them when it comes to teasing but if he needs to knock Naruto or Sasuke down a level he won't hold back
- They know he means it all in good fun though and he always makes sure to stop when his students have had enough
- Most people don't try to tickle Kakashi cause they fear his wrath
- Though there is one person who isn't scared
- Might Guy will tickle Kakashi after he loses to him if he feels sour about it or just if he thinks Kakashi needs a laugh
- Casual pokes to Kakashi while he's talking or reading is very common

So I wanted to talk about how some of my "fictional father" rules and ideas work.
First up: What characters from what fandoms would make good fathers? (Sorry it's a long list. Also, if you're wondering why certain antagonists' were listed, there's more explanation further down).
Fandom: Naruto. Characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gaara, Yamato, Gai, Neji, Shikamaru, Iruka, Jiraiya, Itachi, Obito, Orochimaru, and Zabuza.
Fandom: One Piece. Characters: All of the Mugiwara crew, Trafalgar, Kid, Ace, Sabo, Crocodile, Doflamingo, Lucci, Smoker, Katakuri, the Akazaya Nine, Shanks, Buggy, Marco, and Rayleigh. (I could honestly write almost every character on here as a parent figure, but the list would be way too long).
Fandom: Jujutsu Kaisen. Characters: Lol, all of them.
Fandom: Attack on Titan. Characters: Eren, Armin, Levi, Jean, Reiner, Levi and Erwin.
Fandom: Black Clover. Characters: Umm... All of them? This fandom is beyond rich with potential parent figures, don't even get me started.
Fandom: Guardians of The Galaxy. Characters: Quill, Drax, Rocket, and Yondu.
Fandom: Marvel. Characters: Tony, Thor, Steve, Bucky, Bruce, Scott, Loki, Clint, and Sam.
Fandom(s): DreamWorks and Disney. Characters: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, Bruno Madrigal, Grug Crood, Death the Wolf. (And a whole bunch of others.)
Fandom: Criminal Minds. Characters: Spencer, Derek, David, Matthew, and Luke.
Fandom(s): Alien movies like Predator, Avatar, or Transformers for some extra flavor and diversity.
Fandom: Avatar: The Last Airbender. Characters: Aang, Sokka, Zuko, Iroh, and Jet.
Fandom: 911 and 911 Lone Star. Characters: All of them. Every main character within these two fandoms is amazing.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
Why are certain antagonists listed?
Well that's because I'm obsessed with bad guys and I love imagining them in scenarios where they are actually good. Antagonists in general are very powerful, crazy and frightening, but if you keep those attributes and turn them into good people with good intentions, they make for some pretty awesome, likable parent figures.
So if I ever write an antagonist as a parent figure, just know that I'm intentionally making them good for the benefit of the reader-inserts and the drabbles. But, hey, if you wanna read and imagine them the way they originally are, then by all means I support you.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
I obviously have father figures covered, but what about mother figures?
There are lots of female characters I love, but I primarily want to focus on the males just because that is my preference. However, on down the road I do see myself writing mother drabbles. I wouldn't mind. And, considering the circumstances of the reader-inserts, a mother figure might be more suited for the plot. You never know.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
What will the reader-inserts be like?
For reader-inserts under the age of twelve, I will display it in the title as "child!reader".
For reader-inserts over the age of twelve, I will display it in the title as "teen!reader".
For child reader plots, I plan for them to be mostly fluffy and light-hearted. You know, young kids are curious, they're inexperienced, they're clumsy, they get scared, they get bullied, and so on and so forth. There's lots of topics and plots I can create for child reader-inserts.
For teen reader plots, things might get a little bit more angsty. As we all know, teenage years are absolutely insane. Teenagers are rebellious, they're curious, they're discovering their own sexuality, they're going through puberty, and they're trying new, dangerous and some times risky things. Teenagers are also very, VERY emotional, and under certain circumstances they can really struggle with anxiety, depression, social stability, loneliness and a whole bunch of other stuff. Of course there will be fluff in these drabbles, but also some light angst here and there.
For the most part the reader will be portrayed as the biological child of the character, but I do plan on writing lots of adoption stuff too.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
The father figures won't always be perfect.
As we all probably know, parents are anything but perfect. They make mistakes. Lots and lots of mistakes. And sometimes parents don't care that they make mistakes, nor do they ever try to right their wrongs and apologize. Some parents don't even want to accept nor understand their child. (I'm sure some of you know what I mean).
But whereas these fictional father figures may make mistakes, they also try to fix those mistakes and right their wrongs. That's what I plan to accomplish with my father drabbles. I want to create loving, supportive, understanding father figures who are willing to do anything for their child. Because when you're a kid and you struggle with life, a loving parent is all you really want.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
What about characters who are too young to have kids?
So an example for this would be any character that is around the age of 15-25 like Luffy. Well there are two simple solutions to this. Either I'll age up the characters or I'll say that the reader is adopted. It kind of just depends on what the drabble calls for.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
Why am I doing this?
Well if you're like me and you had a rough childhood, then you just kind of want to reimagine yourself in a scenario where you're happy, accepted, catered, loved, protected, safe and cared for. I just want this to be something akin to a safe place for people to come and find joy and peace in the drabbles that I create.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
Mild disclaimer: I know I have a lot of characters in mind to write for, but the process of my updates may be slow-going sometimes because I do have a full time job and annoying adult responsibilities. I try to write whenever I can. If updates seem slow, just know that I'm sorry and that I'm trying my hardest to supply you with all the fictional father goodness you crave.
Ta-ta my friends!

Can I be greedy and ask for Itachi too?
Oh this is an unexpected but interesting one~ Took me a bit since he's not one of my favourites.
Headcanon A:  realistic - Itachi is the socially stunted awkward af person that some people seem to think Sasuke is. I think Sasuke is blunt and matter of fact yes, but he does have a level of social grace. He's not the type to stare at you in silence for a whole minute before saying something completely out there like "Oh I was just thinking that everything ends eventually, including you." Itachi is definitely that type. He basically is the kid that skipped like 10 grades and had 0 relationship with his peers, also saw a battlefield at like 5, and then of course all the baggage every ninja kid has with the added bonus of ending his entire clan. Then he spends a chunk of time hanging out with the Akatsuki, which is full of bizarros. So no, he is not suave, he's definitely a weirdo, Kisame is pretty worried about whatever he's got going on but he likes being the normal one between them.
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious - Massive crush on Kakashi, he was the original notice me senpai. Listen people having a crush on Kakashi is actually extremely realistic so idk if this even counts but he totally is in awe of this non-Uchiha dude that has like half their chakra but is better with the Sharingan than pretty much 99% of them and has the balls to exist in their presence while doing it. Kakashi just wonders why Itachi is staring at him so much (see above), maybe he wants to take his eye??
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends - Hm he also had a pretty shit life so I don't think I can come up with much worse...but I think Sasuke was the favourite. Yes, even Fugaku's. Itachi knows it, too. I think you see this in the difference in how Fugaku treats them - on the surface there is the idea he's too harsh on Sasuke and doesn't believe in him but I don't think that's it. He actually doesn't push Sasuke, when learning the fireball he says "it's too soon for you" it's almost a neutral statement. He's really not this bully people seem to think he is, especially to Sasuke. I just think he's a classic reserved, emotionally constipated dad. Sasuke as a kid is this very sweet happy little baby, and I think Fugaku sees him as that - his baby, the second born, the one that maybe doesn't have to be what Itachi is as future clan head. So in the end when Fugaku calls him a kind child I think Itachi was hearing that kind of praise for the first and last time - not about his ability as a shinobi.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own. - He's read all of Icha Icha. At first because what the hell are those books senpai always has and what's so great about them? Second because of a sannin wrote them, they must be good for something then, right? Third, to understand human interaction. He still doesn't get it.

Wait are you still around episode 200 of Naruto Shippuden? How do you feel about it? What arc are you watching rn?
i think i'm at 208 rn? actual answer will be under the cut
i like it! i can only manage about 3 episodes a night though because the pace of information has increased RAPIDLY!!! like. my chats with kate (my best friend who got me into naruto) are really messy now and frantic when im watching naruto
it used to be that i could watch like 5 or 6 episodes in a row without feeling like i'd seen anything i'd want to tell them about, but now i'm constantly having to pause naruto to give them my liveblogged observations.
i think i'm at the 5 hokage summit arc. literally the last episode i watched, danzō revealed his fucked up sharingan arm to "madara" (who i am dead sure is just obito) and sasuke. i know sasuke kills madara. i hope this is where it is.
i feel really bad for all the team kakashi kids. like. sakura, the perfect mirror of her sensei, is trying to take on the burden of the whole team and spare everyone elses feelings, she said she accepts if naruto hates her for killing sasuke, i think part of her would probably want naruto to hate her for killing sasuke.
sai was just trying to "look out" for naruto (it seems he's really recently developed a bit of a. shockingly protective tendency towards naruto? i think he's finally given in to the sway of naruto's weird ability to make other lonely teenage boys obsessed with him) but he fucked up big time and goaded sakura into trying to kill sasuke, which obviously. is not. comforting for any of them.
naruto literally has not had a second to rest, every 5 seconds somebody comes to him with a new problem and is like "also? this thing you loved and trusted is exploding. good luck" and he looks dead on his feet.
yamato seems like hes getting REALLY agitated about that specifically? like when sakura showed up and started confessing her love to naruto and following it up immediately with "so stop looking for sasuke! please stop looking for sasuke. its fine. stop looking for sasuke" Yamato seemed to get almost legitimately mad. kakashi kinda kept him from interfering.
then sai's clone appeared and explained sakura planned to kill sasuke. and then gaara showed up and explained that sasuke attacked the 5 hokage summit. and naruto seemed so exhausted and overwhelmed he looked like he was gonna pass out. yamato, again, stepped forward like he was gonna try to help but kakashi held him back again and was like "let naruto deal with this on his own"
fair enough. a probably the last thing naruto needs is having somebody up in his space trying to make him feel better when he's already so bad at allowing himself to experience negative feelings in the first place. fair enough.
also unrelated but i hate when obito sucks people into the hole in his twisty little mask. it looks like hes inhaling them. like the kirby.
Tumblr media
i am sitting here trying to watch naruto and then it looks like he just fucking eats torune and fū (danzō's special Root Bodyguards). man. that obito guy is weird.

on the seventh day of halloween my true boo gave to me...a failure to cook
“Look,” says Sakura’s favorite kunoichi class teacher, pulling her aside after class, “you’re a civilian kid, right?”
Sakura nods and tangles her fingers together. Analee-sensei is her favorite teacher because she teaches more practical things — but the kunoichi classes aren’t Sakura’s best subject. Ino always shows her up here, unlike with the academics. Except, sometimes, for Analee-sensei’s lessons.
“When you get put on a team,” she says, seriously, crouching down and grabbing Sakura’s hands, “because you’re a girl and a civilian they will expect you to do all the ‘female’ chores. Start off by being worse than them at all of them, if you want to ever have a chance to do anything else.”
“But —“ Sakura isn’t even sure what her protest will be, maybe just that she is skilled at those things and doesn’t want to be seen as bad at something — or maybe just something about wanting to prove to Sasuke-kun that she’d be a good wife.
Analee-sensei doesn’t give her a chance. “You don’t have to totally fail at them, just be worse than the worst person on your team. You can get better. But I promise you, you don’t want to be stuck in that role.”
If it was anyone but Analee-sensei, Sakura wouldn’t have listened. But Analee-sensei is her favorite teacher and — “I promise, sensei,” she says, with a determined nod.
It’s possible she wouldn’t have done it, even still, but then Naruto had seemed so excited about cup ramen and —
(Looking back, she doesn’t regret this decision, which is more than she can say for a lot of things that she did at twelve, but she does feel a little guilty that her first action was out of spite against Naruto. She knows, now, that he didn’t deserve it, and yet.)
“I brought lunch!” she announces, brightly, not even lying when she says, “I’m really proud of this! Please let me know what you think!” She is proud, of course. But what she’s proud of is her experimental hypothesis (“there is a way to prepare ramen that Naruto won’t eat”), but, well, Sakura has always been an over achiever. (She is a bit dismayed to find that her hypothesis isn’t totally supported — although he does cry the entire time eating it, and they are not tears of joy, so she’s willing to count it as a partial success. Neither of the other two take more than a bite — though Kakashi-sensei does do her the favor of just making his disappear.)
And she knows she could stop there. But, well, Sasuke keeps insisting that tomatoes count as a desert, and she’s going to make him eat his words. So she does make the cookies just for him. Alas, he does not eat his words, and he mostly fails to eat the tomato-cookie as well, since he just opens his mouth and lets it fall out after one chew.
(She does count this as an almost successful bid to see Kakashi-sensei’s face as he steals a cookie and has eaten it before anyone else and almost fails to hold back his gag reflex and has to take off his mask. Or maybe he does fail, but he vanishes before he fails. Still, she almost succeeds.)
(He's the one who taught them to look underneath the underneath — surely he can see her attempts at cooking warfare for what they are?)
The rice is, she’s willing to admit, not intentional. She intends to prove her ability to make plain rice — that should be safe and keep her from having to cook every meal, after all, but still able to help out. Unfortunately her parents are involved in a prank war and she’s an innocent bystander.
(She’s not sure why her father swapped out the salt in the salt shaker for sugar, since it seems just as likely to harm him as her mother, but mostly it ends up harming her team.)
And to be fair, she does try the rice before bringing it, but she doesn’t have money to buy cooked rice, or time to make more. And she thinks it could at least be a desert. But then she gets distracted because Naruto splashes her with water when he’s lunging at Sasuke for an insult and she doesn’t warn anyone that the rice is sweet and — ah well.
So Team Seven is fully of the opinion that she doesn’t know how to cook. She tries, a few times, to insist that she can. But Kakashi-sensei miraculously finds coupons that are going to expire in a few hours and so they must be used and she never gets a chance to prove she’s not a total disaster.
There are definitely worse things. (Like most of the rest of the their short time as a team.)
But it’s funny, and she thinks that once they all make chunnin she’ll surprise everyone with a glorious feast that she’s cooked herself, but, ah, well…
And to be honest, by the time Team Kakashi is formed she’s forgotten about her culinary warfare.
(Looking back, she thinks that even if she’d wanted to convince them she was still a menace in the kitchen she wouldn’t have come up with something this good.)
Before their first mission, Tsunade hands her a Tupperware of what look like perfect brownies. Sakura is too jaded to eye them with anything but suspicion, but when Tsunade arches an eyebrow and says, “Eat one,” she does.
She immediately regrets the decision.
“You know how to control your own reflexes,” Tsunade says with a smirk, “keep it down.”
She’s only taken a bite — not shoved the whole thing in, she knows better than that — but it still takes her several minutes to be sure she’s not going to bring it all back up if she opens her mouth. “Ugh,” is all she manages once she can make noise through a throat that’s trying to close to keep her from feeding more toxic waste to it — Tsunade pushes a cup filled with a clear liquid towards her (probably poured while her eyes were shut in the hopes of having that control her mentor had insisted she had). She shoots it back, relieved when it is sake and not water.
It burns through some, although not all, of the taste. She eyes the Tupperware — still alarming full — with wide eyes. Tsunade laughs at her, although it should probably be characterized as a cackle. “We just went over shuffling tastebuds, kid. Your secondary assignment when you’re on this mission is to figure out the ideal way to shuffle your tastebuds, the right amount to use so that the effect only lasts for the time it takes to eat one of the bars, and the fastest way to do it. Don't go just shutting off your tastebuds, I want a shuffle.”
“If I eat more of those,” Sakura says, already considering the likely rewiring to make them not taste like a fate worse than death, “am I going to be poisoned?”
Tsunade laughs again, “They’re protein bars with vitamins. Good for you! You better eat all of ‘em before you get back!”
Sakura grimaces but nods, and accepts the container. She doesn’t bother to label the container with any sorts of warnings, because it’s been long enough since she’s traveled with anyone who would just go riffling through someone else’s possessions that she assumes they’ll be safe.
So it’s a surprise to her, on the second day of their mission, when she comes back from cleaning off in the river to see Naruto gagging and rolling around in the dirt and the other two members of the team staring in horror at her protein bars.
“Hey!” she protests, upset because she’s only just figured out the right way to shuffle her taste buds and she’s still working on the time and they’re wasting them! “Those are mine! Why are you eating them!” She grabs the ones out of Kakashi and Sai’s hands, scowling, and stares at the one that Naruto has dropped in the dirt with a frown before deciding it's not actually worth recovery. She carefully places the two bitten ones back into their container and scowls.
“Dickless thought you were hiding treats from the rest of us,” Sai says, eventually, voice tight like he’s fighting something, “but maybe you brought them in case we needed to torture someone?”
“Stay out of my stuff!” she scowls and then after a moments concentration rearranges her tastebuds and pops one of the bitten ones into her mouth — the flavor is now lightly nutty and fruity and kind of bland to be honest but so much better than the real thing — and chews it to show dominance.
Sai pales more than she would’ve expected possible, considering that he’s the color of a piece of paper, and Kakashi covers his mask with a hand, gags, and vanishes. Naruto is still hollering like someone’s stabbed him as she stalks to her sleeping roll clutching her assignment from Tsunade.
So really it’s not her fault how bad a reputation she’s got around cooking.

Love me Mercilessly Chapter 10: Spring Word count: 1.8k tw: none Catch up here [x]
Little Sasuke is very suspicious of Kakashi! That is his Kami-chan.
“Suppress your chakra all you want, I know it’s you.” Admitting defeat, Kakashi sauntered up next to Akami.
“I’m surprised you agreed to work this.” Akami questioned seeing him in his anbu gear, even if it was hidden beneath a long black cloak. She assumed he wasn’t wearing his hound mask in an attempt to blend in with the rest of the Festival goers.
“Well it’s not like I had plans on attending otherwise, I’m surprised you’re here.” Kakashi said,
“Mmh why’s that?”
“They don’t start serving liquor until six.”
“Ha ha, very funny,” she deadpanned elbowing him in the ribs. “I thought he,” Akami gestured with her head towards Sasuke. He had been baited by his classmates into participating in a game. “Might like to do something to get out of the house and forget for a little bit.”
“Pretend to be a normal kid,” Kakashi replied in understanding.
Sasuke’s little group began to disperse, running off in search of other games or being beckoned by their parents.
He sauntered up to Akami with his hands tucked behind his back. He turned his head to the side, "This is…for you.” He said, sticking out his arm to present her a smaller stuffed tiger clasped in his fist.
Akami slid her hand through his hair and told him she’d only accept on one condition. “I have to win you a prize too!”
He brought his hand to cup his chin as though it were hard to decide. “Deal!”He exclaimed passing off the stuffed animal.
Akami smiled at its tiny stripped face and twirled his tail around her finger. It reminded her of the thoughtful little boy he used to be, and she was glad to see some part of that remained. Lost in the stuffed animals marbled black eyes she was completely unaware that Sasuke’s heated glare was melting Kakashi where he stood.
“Sasuke, you remember my friend Kakashi from the other day right? He helped us move.”
Oh! he remembered, Sasuke crossed his arms over his chest and nodded, narrowing his eyes at Kakashi.
Kakashi chuckled nervously with a closed eye smile, one Akami basically mimicked and the only thing that filled the silence that followed was tension thick enough to cut with a kunai.
Akami wasn't sure if it was due to her own lingering feelings about what happened between she and Kakashi or if it was from Sasuke's threatening stare, but she did know she couldn't take much more of it.  “Uhhh Sasuke you must be hungry huh? Let's go get something to eat.” She glanced quickly at Kakashi, un-sure if she just made it worse by not inviting him to tag along but thankfully Kakashi cleared his throat and refused to meet her gaze.
“Well I should be getting back to the festival, it was…uh good to see you two”  he smiled with his eyes then walked away in the opposite direction.
Akami watched him go mildly irritated that his cloak covered his butt.
At Ichiraku Akami order for them both and handed Teuchi a small pouch of ryo. He nodded knowing it was for Naruto. She started leaving money there for him ahead of time, it was the least she could do for the son of the man who saved her life. After noticing he loved ramen just as much if not more than Kushina it was a no brainer, she could help him without having to interact since she and Kakashi were both ordered to keep away.
”So what's with the guy with the stupid hair?” Sasuke asked over his bowl of tonkatsu. She looked around to see who he was talking about. “No, no your friend Ka-“
“Kakashi” she supplied with a laugh, wanting nothing more than to go run and tell Kakashi that Sasuke thought his hair was stupid. Just so she could tell him how much she loved it...Akami frowned at her ramen, she didn't like that that's where her mind went.
"Kami-chan?" Sasuke grumbled, watching her intently,
“Oh, right, well, we’ve been friends for a really long time, since we were little.” She said, "actually when we were little we couldn’t stand each other… but we became close over the years, and now well.. he's my best friend.” He could still be her best friend, even if she thought his butt was cute.
Sasuke nodded, hummed, then slurped down the rest of his ramen still feeling a little wary of the masked man. “How come I never met him before if he’s your best friend ? Like when I was little?” He grumbled with a frown.
“You did,” she smiled. “I guess you were just too little” she leaned closer to whisper to him, “He’s ANBU just like me. We didn’t work together too much because we worked in different divisions, and any free time I got was spent on missions with you.” He smiled, feeling his jealousy lift just a little more. She nudged him with her elbow, “ I’m surprised you could forget the hair”
After making their way through each and every game the festival took it's toll and Sasuke was getting sleepy. Akami asked if he wanted to head home as he rubbed at his tired eyes with the heel of his palm, but to her surprise he wanted to stay and see the fireworks.
They found a relatively secluded in the grass and Akami sat with one leg folded into her, the other stretched out. Sasuke took this as an open invitation to lay down in her lap. The plush feathered prize she had won for him, that they decided most resembled a hawk acting as a pillow. He yawned again and curled up in her lap.
“How about I wake you up before it starts hmm?” Sasuke nodded and let his eyes flutter closed.
More people filled the space waiting for the fireworks and she recognized Tenzo and Kakashi in the crowd. She couldn’t suppress her smile as he picked her out in the sea of people. He left Tenzo and made his way to where they were seated.
“Couldn’t even make it to the big show huh?” Kakashi dipped his head towards Sasuke napping in her lap.
“I think the Ichiraku did him in and quite possibly the three skewers of dango.”
“Three?” He snorted.
She shrugged, “It’s a special occasion.”
"It is huh" He said squatting down to join them much to Akami's surprise.
