I’ve been hanging out with this girl who’s exactly like an irl Allison lately, so she’s suddenly back on my mind lol (hey, im a short wrestler/jock guy like andrew so…👀)

The Breakfast Club attend their senior prom. John cuts his hair to prove to Claire he can change his ways, which only wraps him further around her pretty little finger. Brian hangs around the sidelines most of the night until he and Bender get together to spike the punch and Andrew ditches his friends to console Allison near the track after a bunch of the jocks and popular girls tease her.

Okay let me rant for a moment. Everybody keeps saying "Andrew only noticed Allison after her makeover." I admit that's usually what happens in this kind of movie, but not The Breakfast Club. Andrew noticed Allison plenty before her makeover. If he hadn't, and they hadn't began to build a friendship before her makeover, do you really think she would have gone immediately to him after her makeover?

He smiled when she shouted "Ha" at Claire, and then indirectly defended Allison when Claire told her to shut up. 

He actually tried to help her and comfort her when she revealed that she had issues at home.

He got angry with Brian when he insulted her.

He smiled at her and defended her against Claire during the whole confession scene on the library floor.

He snuck obvious glances at her when all of them, except Bender, were sitting on that wooden beam in the library after the "We Are Not Alone" dancing scene.

For the entirety of the movie, Allison was hiding behind her hair and heavy clothing, yet Andrew still noticed her. When he saw her after the makeover, he immediately blurted out, "I can finally see your face." The makeover showed Allison's newfound confidence, and the fact that she immediately approached him gave Andrew the notion that she liked him back - if you think about it, Andrew really had no reason to think Allison liked him until this scene. Therefore, this gave him more of a reason to show that he liked her and to kiss her, because he knew it would be returned. If you ever say Andrew didn't notice Allison before her makeover, rewatch the movie first and please try to notice what you're missing. It's not easy to see, but when you're watching for the sole purpose of defining their relationship, you can figure it out.

🌟 notes:

• i only have names for the twins, andrea (aaron needed a Moment after admitting he wanted to name her that) and annelise (annie for short);

• all of the cubs know he doesn't like being touched;

• kevin got everyone (including the adult foxes, and including david, abby, stephanie and bee) the matching santa hats with cat fox ears;

• dan and matt's first child loves exy and captains his little league team;

• renee and allison adopt a little girl through unconventional ways. allison dresses her up in all sorts of little outfits;

• nicky and erik's kid is the newest addition to the bundle. it took a while for nicky to get over a lot of things from his time being the twins' guardian, and at first they wanted to adopt a baby, but after knowing this child they decided to keep him. he also gets a hat, but wants to show off his minecraft reindeer antlers a little longer;

• king fluffkins, andrew's daughter, is a rescued ragdoll mix runt from a breeder's litter who threw her away. if the breeder is never heard from again, neil doesn't know anything about it. she and her brother sir fat cat mccatterson ruin andrew's goth vibe.
