The Hisui Trio in my AU!! :D
(they dont know how to dress up 😔)
Tumblr media
I wanted to make reference sheets for the three, even though i took a ton of inspo from many things but its for investment i promise i promise
Those three are friends in this AU, they are all in the present world and they are like a family to each other tbh, they might get into a few arguments but they talk it out later on.
To be fair i think those three would give each other kisses, not in a romantic way though, its just more of a platonic thing i guess??
The three of them own dragon type pokemon, from gen 4, 6 and 8 (me like even numbers dont mind me), i kinda felt like these pokemon fit them best by personality (im not exactly sure for 100%)
Dropping the lore here :
The only way Adaman and Irida could go back and out of Hisui was by Volo taking them with him by going through portals with Giratina, of course the two of them got frightened at the sight of Giratina showing up right in front of their eyes for the first time but they got used to it later on.
As a gift of gratitude from Volo for still being accepted by Adaman and Irida even after everything he's done in the past, he made and gave a clone of Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia to them so that they could also travel through the portals or around the world without his help (he's getting tired from babysitting them pls let him live).
Adaman and Irida just live with Lucas, Dawn and Barry in Twinleaf Town, sometimes Volo comes by to visit them and hang out with them. Lucas and Dawn dont have memories of Rei and Akari, so they have no idea of what Volo used to be back then, if they would then oh boy they would try to kill him.
{With Dialga} Adaman possesses Steel type powers (or Metal Bending as they say), he uses it a lot for combat but also for reaching high places if he cant go up there or reach it by climbing, he bends the metal into a form of a long rope in order to get up there.
{With Palkia} Irida has Water type powers (or Water Bending), she is not really the type of a person to fight but she rather heals others, it also works on pokemon too, though sometimes she can kick ass once in a while if anyone drives her mad.
{With Giratina and Arceus} Volo has all the elements, including Dark type powers but he never uses those as he only sees the bad in them and never wishes to use them, reminding him a lot of Cyrus {bro hates him more than anything}, with Volo being an Archon, he can summon pretty much every pokemon, including the legendaries and mythical ones, and the ultra beasts, even though the legendaries are gods too and are feared by many, Volo however just sees them as misunderstood creatures/beings, as he has a better bond with them than with his own people.
Volo despises humans, he only sees the bad in them as he has only seen the bad things that humans did, and with Volo being isolated in Arceus's realm and being there for about 280 years (met Arceus at 20), he cant really change his opinion about it, even if he has friends that are different than the rest of the humans, Volo still has doubts that humans are good, unless proven to him. Sure, Volo is the archon and savior of this world and he is trying his best to make the world a better with no wars or catastrophies, he hates humans, but he just wants peace, but he is aware that even if this happens one day then the peace wont last forever, the world cant remain peaceful for eternity, theres always going to be something happening all the time and he will have to deal with it on his own.

Best Underrated Anime Group H Round 1: #H4 vs #H5
#H4: Teen Shogi prodigy grows up and battles his mental health
Having reached professional status in middle school, Rei Kiriyama is one of the few elite in the world of shogi. Due to this, he faces an enormous amount of pressure, both from the shogi community and his adoptive family. Seeking independence from his tense home life, he moves into an apartment in Tokyo. As a 17-year-old living on his own, Rei tends to take poor care of himself, and his reclusive personality ostracizes him from his peers in school and at the shogi hall.
However, not long after his arrival in Tokyo, Rei meets Akari, Hinata, and Momo Kawamoto, a trio of sisters living with their grandfather who owns a traditional wagashi shop. Akari, the oldest of the three girls, is determined to combat Rei's loneliness and poorly sustained lifestyle with motherly hospitality. The Kawamoto sisters, coping with past tragedies, also share with Rei a unique familial bond that he has lacked for most of his life. As he struggles to maintain himself physically and mentally through his shogi career, Rei must learn how to interact with others and understand his own complex emotions.

#H5: Middle school soft tennis club deals with trauma
Constantly outperformed by the girls' club, the boys' soft tennis club faces disbandment due to their poor skills and lack of positive results in matches. In desperate need of members, Toma Shinjou is looking to recruit capable players, but he fails to scout anyone. Enter Maki Katsuragi, a new transfer student who demonstrates great reflexes when he catches a stray cat in his classroom, instantly capturing Toma's attention. With his interest piqued, Toma ambitiously asks Maki to join the boys' team but is quickly rejected, as Maki doesn't wish to join any clubs. Toma refuses to back down and ends up persuading Maki—only under the condition that Toma will pay him for his participation and cover other club expenses.
As Maki joins the team, his incredible form and quick learning allow him to immediately outshine the rest of the team. Although this gives rise to conflict among the boys, Maki challenges and pushes his fellow team members to not only keep up with his seemingly natural talent, but also drive them to devote themselves to the game they once neglected.

#H4: March Comes in Like a Lion (Sangatsu no Lion)
youtube
Propaganda:
Sangatsu no Lion is a series that gets praise and has some awards, but it gets rarely talked about. It’s ranked highly on anime lists as being a good anime to watch, but there’s little fan engagement or video essays about it like other promising titles.
Maybe it's because the series is a slow-paced slice-of-life drama that goes over topics like mental health and the trauma of losing loved ones at a young age, and how those factors impacts the lead deeply.
Rei is a hard character to watch sometimes. He’s a doormat, shy and quiet, with crippling low self-esteem. He’s a social outcast. He puts a lot of burden on his own shoulders and blames himself for living up to people’s expectations. He’s a flawed and traumatized teenager forced to grow up too quickly.
Rei lives isolated, and that's how we're introduced to him. He has a strained relationship with his adoptive family. He has trouble interacting with his classmates. He has a few tentative friendships with the people he plays Shogi against, but Rei struggles to connect with others. It doesn't help that he feels pressured by the expectations placed on him as the fifth ever Shogi player to go pro in middle school, making him a prodigy. He's losing multiple matches and stagnating, struggling because of his mental health taking a downward spiral.
When Rei meets the Kawamoto girls, his life seems to get better. Rei initially doesn't want to get to close to the Kawamoto family for fear of rejection, but he ends up visiting often. With them, he receives the care and affection he never had in his foster home. He also learns to socialize and rely on others with his interactions with the Kawamotos, growing as a person.
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse, Mild child neglect from adopted family, death of birth family, healing from mental health issues.
The plot revolves around Rei and him trying to cope with the stress of life and growing as a person. A part of this is him having to make peace with the trauma of losing his biological family and having a strained relationship with his adoptive family, who are neglectful and bitter towards him. The anime overall goes over Rei healing from his mental health issues, including battling his anxiety and issues with self-worth.

#H5: Stars Align (Hoshiai no Sora)
youtube
Propaganda 1:
Covers a wide variety of issues and gets into the nitty-gritty of the often under-prosecuted instances of child abuse in Japanese society. Multiple LGBT characters, subversions of gender roles, a simple but appealing art style, and some really talented seiyuu to top it all off.
Propaganda 2:
This series is so amazing even though it was cut halfway through (and the trigger warnings, mainly in regard to the environments many of the characters live in) make it difficult to suggest at times. It’s half a sports anime and half a drama, switching between the sports sections and explorations of the lives of the characters involved, the latter of which is the part I really adore. The story discusses the heavily discussed topic of abuse pretty well and also has a good handle on discussions about things like gender (specifically in regard to a canon non-binary character, though there is also a minor character who is a trans man who is also discussed) that I haven’t seen too many other series address, or at least not to the effectiveness of this story. The characters also just have so much charm and compliment each other well, and I love watching them get closer and interact. They’re buddies, and I adore the boys soft tennis team plus Yuu and Mitsue (+ Arashi I guess. He’s from a different school’s team and directly opposed the team, but he very quickly becomes their friend afterwards), as well as all of their dynamics. It’s not a watch for when you’re looking strictly to have a fun time or looking for a complete story, but it’s an amazing story regardless. Also, I love the opening and ending songs so much. I wish this series got its season two so much because it’s so good, I don’t think I did it justice at all.
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Gender Identity/Sexuality Discrimination

A Father's Resolve - Ch 2
Ingo returns after a decade - with two extra cars in tow. Years later, his kids are swallowed up by time in the same way he was. Will he be able to find them? Will they be able to make it out alive?
Word Count: ~3600
The door burst open with a bang, not even waiting for someone to open it. "Where are my birthday kiddos?" a voice yelled into the house.
Rei and Akari scrambled into the living room from their respective rooms, running to hug her. "Hi, Aunt Elesa!"
She smothered them in a hug, ruffling both sets of silver hair. "Happy birthday, you rascals. How old are you now? Twenty-five?"
Rei scoffed. Despite going through this every year, he answered, "You know that we're turning twelve!"
Elesa dramatically put a hand to her head. "Oh my, now how could I have forgotten? You two are getting so old."
Akari nodded eagerly. "Dad said we might be able to begin our pokemon journey soon!"
"Yeah!" Rei added. "He said he might let us have our very own pokemon!"
"Oh that's exciting! Let's go in now, kids, it's a little hot out here." Elesa shut the door, keeping out the summer heat. Emmet waved to her from the couch, blowing up balloons with his mouth. Streamers hung around the house, in blue and red, intertwined.
"Who are we waiting on?" Elesa joined him by the couch as the twins ran off to their rooms again.
"Ingo is grabbing the cake right now. Drayden and Iris will be here soon."
"Perfect." She looked at the almost-empty pack of balloons. "How many of these have you blown up?"
"At least twenty." He blew hard into another plastic sack. He would never admit it, but he was beginning to feel a little light-headed. Several colorful balloons littered the living room floor. Even if the party did not have a lot of attendees, they always wanted the kids to have a fun birthday. They’d probably go talk to some of the friends they’d made the next day, Emmet figured. They’d been making friends with some of the neighborhood kids the last couple years. Those other kids were getting ready to start their pokemon journeys, too.
Emmet glanced at Elesa, then at the doorway to make sure no one was eavesdropping. “Do you have them?” he whispered to her.
She tapped her bag and nodded.
Emmet finished the bag of balloons right as there was a knock on the door. “Kids! Come get the door!” Elesa hollered. The quick thrum of footsteps ran to the door and thrust it open.
“Grunkle Drayden!” They flung themselves at him. A booming laugh came over the threshold as Drayden carried them inside, their legs dangling in the air. He was definitely still working out, Emmet noted. Though his mouth was hidden, one could easily see his smile.
“Hello, hello! Happy birthday, you two.” He set the twins down and looked around at the decor. “Ah, this reminds me of when you and Ingo were little, Emmet. Except I was the one on balloon duty,” he chuckled. He had on his usual uniform, right down to the suspenders.
“Don’t forget about your favorite cousin!” Iris swept into the house, wearing a simple sundress with pink and white accents. Her hair was braided behind her head, a typical bow in her hair. She also carried two boxes, one wrapped in blue, one red. Emmet blinked at her. It was actually nuts how much older she seemed every time he saw her. How old was she now? In her twenties? He remembered when she was a toddler, right after Drayden had adopted her. He and Ingo had been in their early twenties at the time, when Drayden had dropped by for an unexpected visit to introduce them to their new cousin. “Her mother is having a rough time, and her father walked out,” he had said as he held her, her chubby hands reaching out towards them to grasp their faces, “so I’ll be taking care of her from now on.”
“Iris!” Akari bolted up to her first. “Iris, you should see our rooms!”
“Yeah, we’ve been putting up posters since the last time you were here!”
“Let me set these down on the table, first,” she said. She had hardly released the boxes before the twins tugged on her wrists as she laughed, being dragged along down the hall.
“It’s been nice knowing you, Iris,” Elesa called behind her.
“They are big fans of hers, aren’t they?” Drayden asked, shutting the door.
“They love to brag that their cousin is the Champion to every other kid on the block,” Elesa grinned. “They think she’s the coolest person ever. Outside their amazing aunt, of course,” she smirked, looking at Emmet.
“But not to be outshone by their uncle,” Emmet retorted.
“Oh! Ingo’s here,” Drayden said, waving out the door. He stood in the doorway for a moment before Ingo hurried in, huffing and holding a large white box.
“Apologies for the delay, they were finishing up as I got there. Where are the kids?”
“They got a hold of Iris,” Elesa said.
“Perfect, then we have a moment.” Ingo looked to Elesa and lowered his voice. “You have them?”
“Emmet already asked,” she whispered. “I got them from Skyla yesterday and checked on them this morning. They’re ready.”
“Good, good,” Ingo said. He came over and took two objects from her, hiding them in a cabinet. “I have the other things in the closet. I don’t want them seeing until it’s time to open gifts. And please tell her I said thank you and to ask anytime she needs a favor.”
“They won’t see them in the closet?” Elesa asked.
“Not in mine, especially not guarded by a horde of Joltiks on a mission,” Emmet said, smirking. “They can be quite persistent.”
Elesa laughed. “You and your spiders.”
“Dad! Are you home?” Akari appeared in the hallway, peering in.
“Yes I am, cub.”
“Why do you call them that?” Emmet held Rei’s small hand as they walked down the sidewalk. They were all bundled up to protect from the cold of winter. It was time for Christmas shopping, and to get ideas, the brothers had thought to take the kids window shopping.
“Call them what?” Ingo held Akari in his arms as she pointed up at the glittering lights above a shop.
“Cubs.”
“Ah,” he said with a chuckle. “Part of my responsibility as Sneasler’s Warden was to help ensure her cub’s safety as they grew. And, well, once the children were born, I joked that they were my own little cubs. And the name just stuck.”
“I see.” Emmet followed Rei’s line of sight as he watched a little train set move in the window, following a circular track. He lifted the boy up so he could see better. His small mittens pressed against the glass, his large silver eyes watching the mesmerizing movement. He really did remind Emmet of himself and Ingo when they were little.
“Are we ready, then?” Drayden asked. “I believe everyone is here.”
Ingo ran to grab the candles and lit them as Elesa flicked off the lights. The twins hurried to their seats at the table, grinning.
Everyone joined in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to them as Ingo lifted the cake gingerly out of the box and presented it to them. It was white, with blue border icing and red icing that read ‘Happy Birthday Akari & Rei!’ in swirly lettering. Together, they blew out the twelve candles on the cake.
After cake was present time. First they opened the matching gifts from Drayden and Iris. Inside each box was a backpack, Rei’s trimmed with red and Akari’s with blue. Both were mostly white, with the outline of a pokeball on the front. “It’s designed for distance use,” Drayden explained. “For now, they are for trips to other parts of the region, and in the future you can use them for your pokemon journey.”
They tried on the backpacks enthusiastically and tested the straps making them snug. Elesa clapped. “You’re starting to look like real Trainers now,” she said.
Emmet snuck away to his dresser and grabbed out two boxes as they were still playing around with the bags. He returned as they were thanking Drayden and Iris.
“Me next!” he announced, placing one of the boxes in front of each chair.
The two sat down and ripped into the boxes, each pulling out a matching device. “Our own Xtrans?” Rei asked in amazement. Emmet knew he’d wanted one for ages.
“Exactly,” Emmet said. “We can set them up after this. I just got black bands for you both for now, but there are more options if you’d like.”
Elesa was next up on the list for gifts. She set two large boxes on the table, one, as always, wrapped in blue, and the other in red. These each contained a jacket, not dissimilar in style to Elesa’s, but built for travel. Elesa showed them several pockets for storing things and explained how they were designed for rough use and keeping out the weather. They each tried them on. Rei’s was a deep burgundy with lighter reds around the trim. It zipped all the way up from the bottom and had a tall collar that could extend halfway up his neck. It fit well on him. Akari’s was almost identical, but hers was navy blue with lighter accent blues and had a white zipper. When paired with the backpacks, they truly did look like budding Trainers.
Last was Ingo. He held the two objects behind his back as the excitement died down. “Here, I have one of two things to give you. I want you to choose which one you take.” The twins cocked their heads at him as he said “Close your eyes.”
A hiss and a flash of light. Emmet’s grin broadened at the familiar sound as he saw two things materialize. He could see the twins’ excitement grow as they recognized the sound. They fidgeted in their seats, fighting to keep their eyes closed.
“Alright… go ahead and open.”
In front of them sat two pokemon, a Rufflet and a Vullaby. The twins’ eyes sparkled as they looked at the two. “These are considered counterpart pokemon,” Ingo said. “Rufflet is always male. It will evolve once, when it gets strong enough. It is a normal/flying type.” The baby bird squawked. “And this,” Ingo gestured to the other baby bird, “is Vullaby. It is always female. It also evolves once. It is a dark/flying type. This pair are siblings, in fact.” He set the pokeballs on the table behind the corresponding pokemon. “Go ahead and pick one. This will be your first pokemon, and therefore, your partner.”
Immediately, Akari reached out a tentative hand towards Rufflet. It cocked its head at her as it sniffed her. Rei, meanwhile, had his eyes on Vullaby. It sauntered towards him, flapping its wings. He held out a hand for it, allowing it to watch him.
Everyone was watching with bated breath. This was an important moment for the twins.
Rufflet rubbed its head against Akari’s hand and chirped. She broke out into a huge smile. “Oh you’re so cute…”
Vullaby squawked as it sat down and grabbed Rei’s hand between its wings, studying it closely. It turned it over, studying the backside. Then it laid his hand on its head. He pet it. It chirped like Rufflet had, making him laugh. The twins looked at each other and each took the pokeball corresponding to the pokemon they had. They clicked the center buttons and both birds retreated with a flash, the ball lighting up as they did. Then with a click, both shut.
Ingo’s eyes were teary as he rounded the table to hug his twins. They hugged him back, holding the balls tight to their chests. “You two are getting so big.” He released them and produced one more item from behind him. “There’s just one more thing me and your uncle want you to have,” he said. “These are the hats that we wore on our pokemon journey when we were your age. They haven’t been worn in years, and we want you to have them. We know you’ll take good care of them on your own journey.” Emmet nodded from the other side of the table, smiling at them.
The twins put on the hats. They were mirrors of each other, basic ball caps in black and white. Ingo’s front panel had been black, with white sides, while Emmet’s had been white in the front with black sides. Akari took Ingo’s old hat and placed it on her head. Rei took Emmet’s. They looked up at their father, both grinning at him. “You both look so grown up now,” he murmured as he leaned in for a hug.
Photos and bonding with their partners is what took up most of the rest of the night. They’d wanted to try a practice battle in the backyard with their new partners, to learn their own strengths and weaknesses. Emmet stood by Rei and showed him how to command his pokemon while Ingo coached Akari. They did not battle until there was a clear winner, just to allow them to get a taste of what battling was like. They would find out what real battling was like very soon.
And before anyone realized it, it was getting late. Drayden and Iris bid them a happy birthday and congratulated them on their first pokemon. Elesa did as well, giving them a big hug and telling them that she looked forward to taking them on as challengers in her gym someday.
Ingo yawned. He and Emmet sat on the couch, watching the twins as they played with their partners.
“I’m worried for them,” Ingo said. “They’re about to go out on their own. Do you think they’ll be alright?”
Emmet said nothing for a moment, not taking his eyes off the twins and their birds. “I think they’ll do just fine. They’re just like us. They have their partners, yes, but they also have each other. And they have our phone numbers. They know we’re just a call or train ride away.”
Ingo breathed in deep. “You’re right,” he said. “They’re going to be okay.”
—------------------
It was house cleaning day. Ingo was wiping down the counters and cleaning out the fridge with the help of Garbodor as Emmet dusted the shelves. He lifted photos and mementos as he did, not wanting to leave a speck behind. As he did, he’d glance at each photo. The one of himself and Ingo as fresh depot agents, one of him and his brother and Elesa as children, one a few days after Ingo had returned with the children with the three of them asleep on the couch, one where the brothers had taken the kids to the Nimbasa Fair, one from where the kids had started their pokemon journey.
Had that day really been three years ago? Emmet shook his head as he dusted under the photo’s spot. He could remember it like it was yesterday. How they’d tearfully told their father and uncle goodbye, promising they’d visit, Ingo stopping them for a quick photo with their partners. In the photo, Vullaby had been squawking in impatience and Rufflet was giving it a dirty look. The twins were smiling at the camera. It was a nice picture.
Emmet set it back and continued on until all the shelves were dusted. Then he moved on to vacuuming. Ingo started the laundry. Emmet cleaned the bathroom. Ingo reorganized the cupboard.
By the time they were done, they both collapsed on the couch. “What a day off, huh?” Emmet asked.
Ingo huffed. “It needed to be done.”
They sat in silence for some time. The sun was getting lower in the sky.
“Have you heard from the twins lately?” Emmet asked.
“They’re trekking around Undella Town again,” Ingo said. “Akari really seems to like the beaches.”
“I wonder what teams they have,” Emmet mused.
“They said they wanted to battle us sometime soon.” Ingo looked at his brother as he said this, a familiar gleam in his eye.
Emmet’s grin was broad and beaming. “I hope we have some familiar Trainers on the Lines soon.”
“As do I,” Ingo beamed. Ever since the kids had begun their journey, Emmet and Ingo had reopened the Doubles Line at the Subway. They didn’t run it near as often as they used to before his disappearance, and it always drew in a crowd. “As do I.”
—-------------
Emmet would later swear that it started out normal.
He and Ingo had gone grocery shopping to stock up and were taking a walk by the park. It was not often they had a day off like this. The sun was warm, but not yet hot. Springtime was in full swing. Deerling could be heard in the forests, the Sewaddle curling up in the branches of trees. The pond was glittering blue. Eelektross and Chandelure were out, enjoying the sunshine and floating behind their Trainers.
Ingo received a call on his Xtrans and requested they stop. It was from Akari. It had been a minute since the twins had called! Emmet leaned in to see.
“Hello, cub! How are-” Ingo stopped abruptly.
It was not Akari on the screen.
Instead, it was a woman, whose face was marred with horror. “H-hello? I just… they just…”
Emmet’s heart dropped. Ingo went completely still next to him.“What happened to the kids?” he asked, his voice choking.
Her eyes blinked. “I’m sorry, I saw this number was labeled as ‘Dad’ and I don’t know what else to do. There was… I don’t know how to describe it. It was a tearing sound. It was like… something was trying to saw a steel beam in half. And then a hole appeared and they were just… gone. No trace of them. The only thing left was their Xtrans-”
“Where are you right now?!” Ingo just about screamed. His face was pale. All color had drained from it. Emmet could not say that he blamed him. Both of them were shaking, Ingo shivering so hard that Emmet had trouble seeing the Xtrans screen
“I-I’m in Castellia-”
“We’ll be right over.” Ingo tossed out the Gliscor he still carried from Hisui and hopped on, grabbing Emmet’s hand. “Gliscor, to Castellia City. Something’s wrong.” It screeched and took off, slightly struggling to carry two whole men, but not complaining. The call dropped.
—--------
Ingo ran through the streets as he searched for the woman. It turns out, he didn’t have to look for long. She was by the docks, still trembling as she held two matching Xtrans. He ran over, Emmet hot on his heels. “You!” The woman jumped and saw them running over, the Gliscor following behind them. “What else did you see? Did they say anything?”
She was still shaken. She looked down at the Xtrans and handed them to Emmet. “I… They screamed for a moment, but I could barely hear over the ripping… I could have sworn they’d callen out for someone though… It sounded like ‘dad’...”
Ingo fell to his knees, shaking. Emmet grabbed his shoulder to steady himself. No. This couldn’t be happening. Not again. Not to the kids.
“It was so dark in there, I couldn’t see anything. No one else was here. Anyone who was here ran away, but I didn’t want those kids there…” She shook her head. “They started to run but the sound followed them. I don’t know where they went.”
Ingo didn’t seem to be hearing her. He was shaking horribly, his breathing fast and gasping. Emmet knelt next to him and forced his head up.
“Ingo, listen. They’re going to be fine. They’re okay.”
“How can you say that?! How do you know that?!” He was yelling, he’d lost all control. Emmet swallowed down his own feelings for now, he could sort through them later.
“Because they have their pokemon and each other. Last time, you were alone. They aren’t. They’re smart and strong. And they fell together. They’re going to be okay.”
“We-we have no idea where they are, or when, or even if they went somewhere capable of sustaining life! What if they were dropped in space or the bottom of the ocean or in a volcano-”
“We have to trust they weren’t, okay? That’s the best we can do.” Emmet tilted his chin forward and locked eyes with his brother, gripping his shoulders tightly. “Breathe with me. They’re alright for now. They can handle themselves. They’ve been all over this region and they’ve barely broken a sweat.”
“They never got their sixth badge…”
“But they’re strong,” Emmet interjected. “They can handle it. They may not have their memories, or us, right now but they have each other and their teams. That’s more than you had when you were gone and you came back. We have to trust they will too.”
“It took me a decade!”
“We know where to look for them,” Emmet reminded him. “I never thought to check in the past.”
“Wh-what if they’re in the future?”
“Ingo, we will do whatever it takes to bring those kids home, but for right now, you need to breathe. Panicking will not help them.”
Ingo took in a long, shaky breath. Two. Three. He was calming down. Emmet slowly released his hold on him. “I… I’m better. All systems online.”
“Confirmed,” Emmet responded.
“Uh…” The brothers turned to the woman beside them. They’d forgotten she was there. “Sorry to interrupt, but hearing your conversation, I believe I may have a starting point. I don’t know if we’ve ever properly met. My name is Professor Juniper. I want to help you find your missing children.”

Fanfic that i´m not gonna writte but i can´t stop thinking about it
So, i have this Clanleadership Au in my head that is so overly complicated and that i have no the time, energy or capacity to writte.
Ok, hear me out lovely people on tumblr is a kind of Pride and Prejudice Au, especific undercut because is gonna be long.
First Irida is Lizzy because of course, Palina must be Jane and Akari is a combination of all younger sisters, she is kind of the odd. Gaeric is their father and he is a widow.
Is a kind of Pride and Prejudice Au not a literal thing.
Mister Gaeric still have the problem of only daugherts no real heir in the family so he must do his best to married their daughters. The problem is different than in the original because he think all men in the world are not enought for any of his totally perfect daughters specialy if we talk about Irida wich create a lot of problems with society because he tend to talk without mesuaring his words.
So the DIamonds arrive. Adaman and Iscan comes visit town and they are super rich and in the haunt for good wives, Melli comes with them because we need someone winy enought to be the bitchy sister. So, Iscan and Palina fall in love but Irida and Adaman bump heads, Irida has the impression that Adaman is just too acelerate, always running and never serius down classic Irida and Adaman things, also he is too flirty with every damsel that cross his way.
In some point Iscan invite Palina to his house but Gaeric refuse the invitation because how he dare, but Palina goes anyways and get catch by a rain and get sick. Irida visit the Diamond mansion in order to see her beloved sister and the result is in more fun shananigans betwen Adaman and her. At the end Gaeric go and return his daughters home. Everything goes so well and Irida and Palina are sure than Iscan would propose soon. But sorprise sorprise the Diamonds leave town without a word and Palina is hearthbroken.
Along with all that fun plot the Army comes to town and we cast Volo as Wickan because who else?? He and Irida kind of talk and became aquantance and trash talk Adaman so much because something happend betwen the two long time ago. Also Also Volo and Akari also form a frienship, but is only in the background for now.
So Irida is decide to found out what the hell happen and why that guy reject her sister so she travel to the city with the excuse of studing, she studing herbs and medicine with The old Cabba and she offer her a travel.
In the city she found the diamonds including Adaman sister Mai and they become really good friends, and Mai tell her that Adaman is a good man, for example he saved his friend from a bad marriage, said so he broke Palina and Iscan.
Irida is piss by this and confront Adaman who because this is a PaP Au confess his love and get reject soooo hard. Irida reclaim everything to him, incluing his disagrament with Volo even when she have no idea of what the hell happend betwen the two. This fic in my mind is just an excuse for writte this scene by the way.
So, that happend, Irida comes back to her little town and recive a letter from Adaman explaining why he acted the way he acted. Classic missundersteand concerning Palina and Iscan relathionship and the hole Volo situation. Result that he and Volo were childhood freinds, he was a merchand and Adamans Father a lord but after the father died it became abuntaly clear that Volo is a conman, a burglar, a thieft, and over years and years to stole from Adamans family he lead one of his cousins (Rei) to a life of crime. Adaman get to save his little cousin at time and forgive Volo with the condition that he must go and join the army and do something of his life.
Irida is shock by this revelations, but continue with her life, regreting some of her behavior toward Adaman. Maybe by this point Palina is out of town, the Pearls obviusly leaves in a little town on the mountains and Palina for some reason travels to the beach.
As a friend of Irida, Mai invites her to her birthday, so Irida travels to that even were she encounter Adaman again and sparks fly around them, Irida is having lovely feelins but when things seems promise she recive the news that her little sister Akari run away with Volo.
Gaeric runs to get his daughter back but Irida is frithing becuase well... Volo is a soldier and Gaeric is an old widow, so the family is in complete chaos but out of nowere the police catch Volo, and Akari and Gaeric comes back home safetely.
Everyone is happy, and more when the Diamonds return and Iscan propose to Palina. Adaman also is there but Irida is sure that he must hate her now.
But but but in the final revelation Akari tell Gaeric that it was Adaman who find Volo before the police and save her, but make her promise to never said nothing to her oldest sisters, so Gaeric realized that Adaman and Irida are in love and give her the pep talk.
Irida then runs dramatically to Adaman and confess her feelings and they kiss and live happily ever after. THE END.

So how about some head cannons of a Cynthia x Reader? Like let’s say when Arceus sends either Rei or Akari to the Hisui region he had to balance it out by sending a person from the past to modern day Sinnoh. Also that you were part of the Survey Corps.
**Hi Anon! sure can do, i might of not played Arceus yet I'm willing to try! hope you like it!! - Bean**
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cynthia x Reader : A Survey Corp in Sinnoh
Reader is 18+ and is gender neutral
One minute you were on your way to Cyllene to show off your new findings in your pokedex and next minute your slap bang in the middle of a foreign town with no clue where you are.
Meanwhile Cynthia was supposed to be taking a small break from the Pokémon league in Hearthome city but take her mind of her upcoming Pokémon world championship league tournament coming up within a few weeks.
Both of you happen to cross paths in Hearthome, you were confused and honestly freaking out while she noticed you from a distance confused but mostly why you looked so out of place..
Still in your thoughts Cynthia approached you, did you scream and ask her why this Volo person was here too? yes but on further inspection it just seemed to be someone who looked like him much to her confusion.
After your rocky meeting, she's sceptical, who isn't when a person appears out of nowhere claiming to be from the long forgotten Hisui region?
But all of that is squashed when you show her your extensive Pokedex and your team full of Pokémon she's never seen before, it amazes her.
After a while she opens up about her past and her life as a champion, you inform her about the vast lands of Hisui and your job as a Survey Corp of documenting Pokémon.
"This is Cyrus the leader of team Galactic, him and his team are a pain in my si-" "wait why does he look like Cyllene?" "Who's Cyllene?"
You support her at the Pokémon world championships! even though she didn't win your always there to give her the best support!
You become more and more aware of the different regions and the modern world of Pokémon and how they live together with humans makes you more want to stay here permanently but you know any day or any time you can be snapped back to Hisui.
So if that day happens Cynthia would want to go with you, you've already made her curious about this past region so why not visit herself and to be with you. (also totally not to smack sense into Volo)
But this does explain to her what happened to that Train conductor twin from Unova she's heard about...

Just had an idea for your 'Emmet reunites with Ingo is funny ways' fic. (You don't have to write it, just a scenario you can imagine)
Have you ever heard of the theory that Elvis never died but became a fast food worker in a different state? They constantly laugh at it in the book Good Omens but it's a real theory.
Well imagine: Emmet has decided that he wants some junk food, maybe it's a bad day and he needs a pick me up or it's a good day and he decided to treat himself. He going to get quite a bit so that he can binge watch train documents until early morning cos its one of those days, he might even order more if Elesa is invited.
He goes into a small time fast food chain (maybe he's in Unova and it's one he used to visit or maybe he's in Sinnoh and it's recommended) and at the counter he's face to face with Rei/Akari and Ingos in the back flipping burgers.
It's 2023, inflation hasn't made it easy to house a time displaced full grown man. Even though they could make some money battling, they don't want Ingo to be in the spotlight as a professional battler just yet as he's only just gotten used to some modern things.
Thankfully this fast food chain is known for taking on anyone regardless if they are qualified and the food and equipment is simple enough for Ingo to use, helps that it isn't really popular too. Rei/Akari works with him to help him adjust and to help with any food rushes.
So yeah. There Emmet is, standing in front of his adopted nephew/niece and his long lost brother handing him a tray of a dozen fries, burgers, nuggets and a slushpuppy while in an apron and goofy hat.
Omg anon, what would your reaction be if I showed you one of my wips with this idea. It's been months since it's been a things in my phone's note app and I had completely forgotten.
LOOK AT THIS (far from complete but oop-):
The seat felt uncomfortable under him, but Emmet didn't have any other option than endure it, self imposed suffering as it was. He had promised Iris he would take her out to eat wherever she chose if she managed to regain her title as champion. Defeating Rosa, after all, was no easy feat. Not only was she one of the region's heroes, but also a regular at the Battle Subway. Emmet knew first hand how difficult, how fun and challenging, it was to fight her.
And finally, after a year and a half of frustrated training sessions and manic strategizing, Iris rose as champion of Unova once more. Enduring it was.
That didn't mean he wasn't enjoying himself, though. Emmet usually had some time set apart for socializing with family and friends at least twice a week, so it wasn't a matter of social battery. Just the wooden seats.
He could understand from an objective point of view why this particular restaurant had them. it was aiming for an 'old era' feeling, with high barstools, wooden furniture and walls, gentle light coming from paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling... There were also sepia photos filling the walls to the brim with pictures of extinct pokemon and historical figures, of which Emmet only managed to recognize profesor Laventon. If he looked more closely, maybe he would distantly recognize more from his time in school, but he had no interest. He had a set schedule, a point of arrival already in sight.
To have a fun night out with his favorite (and only) cousin.
Why this place, he had asked Iris. To try something different had been her reasoning, of course.
The restaurant wasn't as bombastic as the usual Nimbasan ones, not even Unovan. A fairly new restaurant that focused on 'traditional Sinnoh' cuisine. He usually wouldn't trust such bold statements in Unova of all places, yet all reviews of people who came from Sinnoh had seemed surprised in a good way.
Emmet's preferences had always been to traverse the same tracks over and over again. Always the same. But it was Iris who was asking, and for family Emmet would go a long way. Especially since...
Must have been verrrry fun to battle Rosa again. Emmet wondered when the girl would show up in the Battle Subway, since now she had the free roam being champion didn't allow her. Emmet hoped Rosa chose the Doubles. He would see her regardless, but he verrrry much hoped for the Doubles line.
Emmet was sure Ingo would have been delighted to see Rosa challenging the Battle Subway again. He sighed. Damn it, he had been avoiding the thought of his twin so well lately, too. It hurt to be glad about it, but Emmet was so, so tired of the constant agony. He was sure Ingo would forgive him, just this once.
"Heeeeeeyoooo, Nimbasa to Emmet! Are you there?"
"I am Emmet. I am here. In front of you."
Aaaaaand that's about all I have written out. From there it would go on a funny reunion with chef Ingo, waiter Melli and a Karen. Melli vs Karen the ultimate showdown. Poor Ingo.
Lmao, I wanna get back to writing fanfic so bad, but I really really shouldn't right now.

I am soft for these sappy boys turning into sappy dads qwq Can we get more of them with their pregnant s/o's plz?
Of course! I love sappy dads just as much as I love sappy boys <3
🍓🍓🍓
Laventon:
He gets the baby a small knit cap that looks exactly like his. You hate it, but can't deny how cute it is. You consider throwing it out and saying it was lost, but you know he'd just get another one. It's a battle you can't win
He's all over you. He's so excited to be a dad it's unreal. He's almost constantly touching you bump, talking to it, telling it facts about Pokémon or how wonderful their parent is, how much he loves you, and so on. He can't be stopped
Rei and Akari are so excited to be big siblings. They bicker constantly about what gender the baby will be, about what the name should be, about who the favorite will be. Laventon thinks its funny, but wishes they'd slow down.
He never goes out on survey missions anymore. He leaves that to the others, too afraid to leave you and have something happen that he could've prevented. You try and assure him nothing will happen, but he won't hear it. Besides, he loves you, and wants to spoil you. He's so proud of you, so happy to be having a child with you, and he tells you every day
Ingo:
He tells you you're pregnant, and you get a little peeved about, because how would you know before me? He shows you what he's discovered, though, and you're like, oh shit
Also gets a hat made that looks like his, just knitted to fit the baby's head. He's constantly pressing it to your stomach, imagining what it will look like. He's so lovestruck that you don't have the heart to stop him, even though you really need to pee
He likes to lie with you head on your chest, curled around your stomach. He talks to your baby like he's talk to a fellow warden, polite and professional. It makes you laugh as you run your fingers through his hair and tease him for being so professional with his own kid
He's so in love, with you and the baby. He follows you around like a lovesick puppy, always ready for when you need anything. He's constantly showing you off too. Look at my spouse. They're having my child. Aren't they beautiful. Say it. They are.
Volo:
He all but quits his guild job, to the irritation of the other members. But you're pregnant! You're blessed with a little miracle. How could he think to leave you?
Cogita visits often, considering your child as her grandchild, and her the grandmother. Despite having no children of her own, she's very astute about pregnancies. Volo likes having her over, for she helps the both of you adjust to the pregnancy changes, from pains to hormones to cravings. She's a godsend
Volo likes talking to your belly and feeling the little kicks. It feels like his child is responding to him, eager to meet everyone and see the world. He can hardly wait for you to finally have them. He has so much he wants to show them
Catches a Togepi for the babe. It practically lives on your stomach once introduced, eager to meet its future trainer. Volo regrets catching it so soon when it starts to take his play resting on you and against your stomach. His jealous stare is cute, so you don't do anything about it
🍓🍓🍓
Man. . . I might get baby fever if this keeps up. . .
Have a great day, love!

You know in the Papa Ingo au I always assumed it was like from them collectively completing the protags mission or the og protag akari/rei showing up and just instead of being a part of Jubilife be in the time travelers group and complete their mission and save the region anyway. And by that way too, just everyone ends up home and knows that everything happened because of some dude from the past that looked like Cynthia
Papa Ingo asks masterpost part 1 (most of these are for the lord of the flies variant)
I would assume that any kids who show up would just begin helping Akari with her tasks as well, though there are some who would rather help in Jubilife’s pokemon pasture, or assist Beni at the wallflower!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In regards to Team Rocket’s involvement in this story
I do like the thought of them being kids themselves more like what the first anon says, specifically for what the second Anon says haha.
Tumblr media
Orre kids are certainly built for hardship, I think they’d be the most ready out of anyone when they’re thrown out of the village!
Tumblr media
I think people have suggested that we alter when Kamado kicks everyone out of the village and have it happen earlier on; I don’t think the kids would hate everyone, though! Some would definitely be more upset than others at the treatment, of course, but I’m sure there would be a lot of conflicting feelings.
Tumblr media
If kids would start getting sick when everyone is trying to take care of Ingo and get him better, then that would certainly be concerning! I could see kids forcing others who are sick to go lie down. Both to get better, and to keep the sickness from spreading to the whole group. They have work to do!!
Tumblr media
Oh that is an interesting thought! (Silver probably would not understand that, despite…also living through the same events too? Someone did suggest at one point silver is also here haha. He would unknowingly be seeing how problematic his dad was as a kid)
Tumblr media
Like above! I bet Giovanni would meet a lot of people as kids, before they all grow into the characters we know them as, and as the people they know each other as.
It is certainly a mind bender, I’m having a hard time properly comprehending that haha.
Tumblr media
That would be so sad!! Can you imagine finally getting the medicine you need to help take care of the person you’re trying to save, only to be thrown back to the time you originally came from right before you could give him the medicine? Ouch!!
Tumblr media
It would certainly be hard to explain what happened, since everyone would return to the times they were pulled from, which happened way before Ingo actually disappears! Only after he disappears would it probably become easier for people to believe them.
Tumblr media
Oh man I’m sorry! I could see them especially wanting to visit the subway after all of this happened at some point, especially after hearing about how “some subway boss disappeared suddenly.” As they look into it, they all desperately realize that it sounds an awful lot like what happened to them. And the subway bosses’ name…Some might come close to gear station out of morbid curiosity, and some might do it at the same time.

Heya! I don't think i've seen you actually talk about this but do you have any thoughts on how Ingo might have ended up in Hisui and how long do you think he's been there? I'm just really curious to hear what you think!
ohhh yea i have Thoughts.
this might be a lot and spoilery for the games but i'll stick these under a read more lol
first off, i'm gonna paste some screenshots from an old convo bc i dont need to type all that again lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
to sum up the above, i think ingo got owned by space-time shenanigans and it wasn't arceus' fault. if i was Really Reaching for more distortion evidence, i could also add the best wishes ep where a time gate formed in twist mountain as "proof" they can happen in unova too. if that's of any interest to ppl lol.
as for how long he's been there, maybe 10 years at least? ingo has clearly aged, his outfit is extremely worn and the "XX" years in the concept art implies double digits. a previous case had anabel fall 10 yrs prior to the events of sumo and with so many similarities between her and ingo, i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case again.
we also had hisuian snow. in the eps, jubilife is still under construction and there's no rift over mount coronet all throughout. by the time the big rift forms and akari/rei falls, jubilife will have been established for 2 years and ingo will have already been chilling in hisui for a while. this would also explain why ppl were so distrustful of just you, why volo was more fixated on you, why ingo got off pretty scot-free during pla lol.
also when pla received the daybreak update, a certain npc was added in. just outside of jubilife, near the gate to prelude beach, you can talk to a traveling doctor who visited the region 10 yrs ago. (hey! the magic number!) alec from hisuian snow coincidentally was studying to become a doctor and we received the shiny zoroark mask after the series ended. fun tidbit :)

Angel wings au)Chapter 10:Arrowroot and Wisteria(Conflict)
The arrowroot and the wisteria were intertwined.
(⚠️Caution⚠️)
I used a translator
This is the Fan fiction
It’s different from the original
Pokemon doesn’t appear(Except for one)
All Trainers have angel wings
This AU includes discrimination
Hisui is modern in this au
Content Warning:sharp objects, violent, character gets a little mentally unstable
There are so many different talents in the world.
Lian has a talent for analyzing things in detail. Sabi has a talent for hit targets accurately. Akari has a talent for doesn't give up easily. Rei has a talent for fast to acquire skills.
And Melli is… He is a very talented person who makes others angry… —————————————
Ingo was in a small hospital in Jubilife Village, where he was being examined by Pesselle, who was working there.
"Is your headache okay now?" "Yes. Pesselle. I don't feel any pain now." "That's a relief! You can leave the hospital now Ingo!" "Really? Thank you so much! Pesselle! Thanks to your treatment, I was able to survive!!!" "Heck!" "Oh dear..My voice was too loud..I apologize…" "No, I'm fine Ingo, now I'm going to remove the bandage."
Pesselle removed the bandage from Ingo's head. The impact of the impact on his head with a sign was treated without a scar, except for a dark blue bruise.
"You need to be careful until the bruise is gone for a while." "Can I still continue with Apprenticeships training?" "No… You need to rest like now." "…I see. okay. Pesselle."
Ingo put on his black hat, which he had taken off because of the bandage, bowed politely to Pesselle, and then left the small hospital.
'First of all, I have to go to Training Grounds. I'll ask Zisu to train Apprenticeships. …and I'm worried about Rei. He's the only Apprenticeship person who didn't come to visit me.. It would be a relief if he couldn't come to me because he was busy training..'
And he went to the Training Grounds to tell Zisu to ask her to train Apprenticeships for the time being, and also to see if Rei, who had not seen him in a few days, was really busy with training.
.
.
.
"Here we go!!!" "you're slow☆" "Ha!!!" "It will take hundreds of years for your strange-looking blade to reach the end of the beautiful hair of the Great Guardian angel Melli!"
When Ingo arrived at Training Grounds, Akari and Melli were exchanging attacks and playing practice matches. To be exact, Melli avoided all Akari's attacks, so Akari only cut into the air.
"Everyone, what are you…" "Oh Come on! Gee..! MELLI!!!" "Sabi and Pearls Lian must be faster than you~ I know why you're still Apprenticeships, unlike kids~" "What??? Ughhh..!! MELLI!!!!!!!" "I can avoid your attack with my eyes closed☆" "AHHHHHH!!!! MELLI!!!! Take a bite out of this!!!!!!!"
At Melli's provocation, Akari was blinded by her anger and swung a holly Weapon in the form of a sword at Melli. Melli also eluded all of her angry attacks with easefully. If they keep going like this, the practice match would turn into a real fight or Akari would be in danger of being exhausted.
"Please forgive the unscheduled stop! Melli! Akari! practice match is over!" "Ingo?!" "Ingo..!?"
Ingo was forced to step in between the practice match that escalated into a fight between Melli and Akari, threatening them with his clawed holly weapon, stopping their practice match.
"Akari! Are you okay?!"
Ingo first checked Akari's condition. Akari was in good condition except she was breathing heavily because she used up a lot of energy with the practice match just now. After checking Akari's condition, Ingo pressed Melli.. No, He got angry and started scolding Melli
"Melli! What have you just done to Akari!" "Me? I was doing a practice match. As you do." "It was never a practice match! It almost turned into a real fight!"
Melli also raised his voice to Ingo and countered.
"I heard that it's your way of teaching to train like it's real, I just trained that girl in your own way as if she were actually fighting! I did nothing wrong!" "I taught them at least by checking their skills!" "I heard in Master level class that you use all your skills and that girl is Master level class, right?" I just acted in accordance with the Master level class!" "To show all my skills, I meant to scare them! Actually, I hide my skills a little bit in that Master level class!"
Before he knew it, Ingo forgot why he came to Training Grounds, and began to argue with each other, exchanging hurtful words.
"You are not best teacher! You are just a sham teacher!" "What?! You have a great talent for upsetting others!" "Huh? Are you kidding me?! Guardian angel from another region!" "Why did God choose you as a guardian angel! You have no warm and clean heart at all!" "Ha! How funny! I presume from that frown you always make, and your heart is also not warm and clean at all!" "It was a big mistake for me to choose you as my partner! I should've just ignored you being alone from the beginning! Why didn't I change the track after hearing Leader Adaman's warning! I regret it!" "Hahaha! That's ridiculous! Hey! If I wasn't there, you were attacked by a gruesomely smiling black angel and then left unattended, and you're ingoing to the underworld as it is!"
Thus, their quarrel spread so loudly that it was no use for people around them to stop them, and Meli scratched Ingo's pride greatly.
"The way you check and train Apprenticeships, isn't it actually because you're weak and you're trying to hide it?" "Melli. What did you just say to me…?" "I said you were a guardian angel with weak combat skills!" "…….Melli." "Huh?"
Tumblr media
"You are indeed… You have an amazing talent for annoying others. Melli."
((SLASH-!))
"….!!!!" "MELLI!!!!" "……."
Ingo, unable to contain his sudden rage, lost his temper and attacked Melli with holly weapon. The attack was a blow full of anger, like the black angel's attack that toppled Ingo.
"Melli! Are you okay?! Melli!" "…….." "Melli! Melli! Wake up! Melli!" "Don't worry Akari, holly weapon can't kill others" "Zisu… But Melli is…" "He just fainted in surprise, so he's gonna wake up soon.. Please, he needs to wake up soon…"
Akari and Zisu did not blame Ingo. It was Melli who brought it on himself.
"…oh dear..What have..I done..?"
But Ingo, who soon calmed down, blamed himself.
"I can't believe.. I lost control of myself and knocked Melli down…" "Melli just fainted for a moment." "His clothes are just ripped, but his body is fine." "What a shame… I'm doing something terrible…" "Ingo.." "Melli was right.. My heart is not clean and not warm…" "Ingo…!"
Ingo flew away with a rush of guilt
'I'm no different from the smiling black angel who is very much like me who attacked me a few days ago.. I also inflicted pain on innocent angels…'
And he flew through Hisui's sky without a destination.
.

This is Mistralton City in Unova, It's called the hub of delivery angels who deliver various mails from various regions.
"This is sent to Galar..This is sent to Johto.. And this is…" "Skyla! We're running out of people to deliver mail to Hoenn, can you help us?" "Roger! Winslow! Please wait a moment! I'll be ready for the flight as soon as I'm done sorting!"
Skyla worked as a deliverer in her hometown of Mistralton City, delivering mail quickly, accurately and fresh with her flying skills, which she had excelled since childhood. (So she was always voted outstanding employee of the month.)
"This is sent to Kanto..Huh? This is a letter from Elesa, And the recipient is.. Let's see… Guardian angel Ingo…? Oh Dear! Hisui, where he's staying, is not a place where anyone can go! What should I do? Hisui is a rural village, so it's not easy to contact him…" "Skyla! We're leaving for Hoenn soon!" "Well, I'm going to finish the urgent delivery first! Roger! Winslow!"
Skyla packed her delivery bag full of mail and began flying to Hoenn with other deliverers.
.
Ominously, the sky road to Hoenn was sometimes windy that day, making it dangerous to fly.
"Aah! suddenly wind!" "Skyla! Be careful! You could break out of the ranks!" "Don't worry, Ewing! I'm a veteran!"
Skyla, a veteran deliverer, often experienced strong winds, so the strong winds were familiar to her. But this time the veteran's composure was poisonous to her. Skyla, who had been on her guard for a while believing in her skills, was swept away by the strong wind as her colleague feared, leaving her far from the ranks.
"Aah!" "Skyla!!!!" "I'll follow you soon!"
As Skyla tried to rejoin the ranks where she had left, a flap of wings was heard behind her, and someone whispered to Skyla in a small voice.
"Hi. It's been a long time no see. A hypocrite." "….!"
Before Skyla could turn her head to hear his voice, someone whispering to her struck Skyla hard with a creepy smile on the sign he was holding.
"Skyla? SKYLA!!!!!!"
And Skyla, who was directly attacked, fell unconscious. When the deliverers went to rescue Skyla, someone with an eerie smile had already left.
'Yup! It's more exciting and verrrrry fun to hit someone than to hit a sandbag! Especially when hitting a hypocrite. Good night. hypocrite. And don't wake up forever.'

(Shipping meme template from here; OC image made using this picrew)
ForageShipping meme with (Warden)Ingo and my OC Kana Kageyama.
As with her younger sister, Reina, there will be a full introductory post for Kana in the near future~ Until then...
(More info under the cut.)
Normal Verse (”Courier”)
Kana and Warden Ingo meet in the Highlands of Hisui, about a year or so after his arrival.
While making his rounds, Ingo finds a strange (non-Hisuian) young snealsle, wearing a collar engraved with the name “Scamp.” Upon eventually visiting Melli to see if the other warden knows who the sneasle belongs to, Ingo is introduced to a young Diamond Clan woman named Kana - who, as it turns out, is both a forager and a courier for the clan, and makes frequent trips across the region.
She is overjoyed to be reunited with Scamp and thanks Ingo profusely. Kana holds none of the animosity or mistrust for Pearl Clan that the rest of Diamond Clan does, and so, much to Melli’s chagrin, offers to extend her services to Ingo as well whenever she passes through the Highlands. Ingo, secretly starved for human interaction, readily accepts.
Kana and Ingo strike up a friendship over time, and begin spending at least one evening a week visiting one another for dinner. Eventually, Kana and Ingo grow close enough that Kana confesses that she, too, is a skyfaller.
Fifteen years before, while traveling between mondern-day Sinnoh and Kanto, Kana had the great misfortune to run into the mythical pokemon Hoopa  - who decided it would be funny to send a human back in time.
She landed in Hisui and was helped by the Diamond Clan, eventually marrying into it and settling down with her husband as foragers and couriers between the clan settlement and the wardens. Despite this, she never once lost the feeling of being wholly out of place, and desperately missed the two younger sisters (Reina and Hina) she’d left behind in modern day Kanto.
So, after her husband’s death six years prior, Kana moved further away from the settlement to live alone with her pokemon, though she also deliberately settled slightly closer to Melli, whom she has formed an almost sibling-like friendship with.
The events of PLA continue as usual, with Kana helping Akari/Rei where she can alongside Ingo. Eventually, once Arceus has been defeated, Kana finally returns to the future with Ingo and Akari/Rei. (...And maybe Melli, too.)
===
Other Verses
There really aren’t any full AUs for Kana, other than possible non-PLA versions where she and Subway Master Ingo meet in Unova somehow.
For the Age Gap/Gear Station/SilverFox!Emmet Au mentioned in Reina and Emmet’s ship meme, the only thing different is that Ingo is now a few years older than Kana rather than the other way around.
===
General Relationship Stuff
Clingy: Kana has a mix of separation anxiety and a fear of letting anyone too close - lest she then lose them. She genuinely cares about those around her, but she tends to hold them at arm’s length unless they really worm their way into her heart, like Ingo (or Melli.) She tries not to get too clingy with Ingo, but the both of them are desperate for any kind of meaningful connection, so the ensuing clinging is mutual.
Horny: Kana very much enjoys sex and the intimacy it offers. She isn’t interested in casual lovers, but she had a healthy sexual relationship with her husband while he was alive. After entering into a relationship with Ingo, the two of them find as many opportunities as they can to take comfort in one another - physically, as well as emotionally. (Kana is the one to make the first move.)
Trust/Jealousy: Kana isn’t really a jealous person. She can get frustrated at times, especially when Ingo is being utterly oblivious, and there have also been a few occasions where Ingo being too polite to tell someone no has rubbed her the wrong way, but she knows he’s an honorable man and so trusts him completely. (Not always so much other people.) Ingo, on the other hand, does sometimes get jealous of other people taking up Kana’s time. He’s finally found someone that makes him feel less lonely (other than his adopted daughter/son) and having to share Kana’s attention irritates him every now and then. He trusts her, he’s just gone so long without consistent human interaction that he’s loath to give it up again. (He hates that he feels this way, but it still happens.)

Best Underrated Anime Group H Round 3: #H4 vs #H7
#H4: Teen Shogi prodigy grows up and battles his mental health
#H7: Isekai subversion, now with more women and good writing
Details and poll under the cut!
Tumblr media
#H4: March Comes in Like a Lion (Sangatsu no Lion)
youtube
Summary:

#H7: The Executioner and Her Way of Life (Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road)
youtube
Summary:
Average student Mitsuki Mutou suddenly finds himself transported to another realm. Summoned by the king of this world for the remarkable power he is supposed to possess, Mitsuki is thrown out when it appears that he lacks a Special Concept. Moping about, he encounters a priestess named Menou who explains that Japanese people like him are known as Lost Ones, and such individuals never fail to have Special Concepts.
Menou elaborates that she is part of a church that helps abandoned Lost Ones integrate into society. She invites him to spend the night at her church, where the two can probe the nature of his ability. Eventually, they discover that Mitsuki's Special Concept is actually incredibly powerful and dangerous.
But is Menou's true goal to assist Lost Ones—or the opposite?
Propaganda 1:
An isekai that forgoes the usual tropes and exceedingly dull, whitebread protagonist in favor of a cast consisting more or less exclusively of varying flavors of deranged lesbians.
As a bonus, a certain scene halfway through the first episode made a lot of the worst parts of the anime community SO mad, and I feel like that’s worth something in and of itself.
Propaganda 2:
An isekai subversion that doesn’t feel like it’s subversive for the sake of being trendy! All of its unique parts have lore to explain them, and the world building of the series is super intriguing. The power mechanics are well-thought-out, and the fighting is unique and beautifully animated! Another strong part is the character relationships; I love the various dynamics between the main cast, and I love how none of them are reduced to mere tropes, as anime loves to do with its women. It’s also very funny, and the protagonist is one of my favorites <3333
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse, Graphic Depictions of Cruelty/Violence/Gore, Suicide. Suicide is basically a deuteragonist’s goal, but it isn’t shown.

You have a Harvest Moon au? 👀 I was gonna ask about FaW/Jumping The Rail but the Harvest Moon part captured my attention (and I don't want to bug you with too many questions). What characters is it centered around and do you have a basic plot/idea for it yet?
I do!! It's literally called Pokemon: Harvest Moon bc I'm basic. There's a link on my pinned post to all of my aus (I think it's all of them) but here is a separate link https://kelpiemomma.tumblr.com/tagged/pokemon%20harvest%20moon
Never feel bad about bugging me with questions. I love opening Tumblr and seeing I have messages, especially when they're from people I know. It's very exciting to talk to people (esp my friends) about the nonsense in my brain and I would love to do it more 😂 ask all the questions you want, you might stir something up that I feel the need to put down somewhere.
ANYWAY. PHM. It's centered around the young (13-ish) Akari who comes to Jubilife Village (possible a little subset-like area of Jubilife City, like. Several miles out of the city. Not easily walked to. Middle of nowhere pokemon style.) needing a place to stay. Mayor Kamado leads her to a decrepit, rundown farm that she is allowed to stay on and live on with the caveat that she is required to improve upon it. If she hasn't improved upon it in a year, she gets the boot. (She is a child who doesn't understand contracts, property law, etc, and he is desperately clinging to a greatness the village hasn't seen in a century). Akari agrees to this and lives out her life harvest moon-like. I've focused on a more pokemon-esque version of it where she gets the Hisuian starters in various ways and they help her on the farm. She's also got a ponyta named Dolly who is ✨spicy✨
Elesa moves in during Akari's first year and the become friendly. She's absolutely confused by this grubby little dirt urchin who wanders up to her clothing store (formerly run by Anthe, who sold it to Elesa so she could retire) and just offers her a massive bag of coin in exchange for new clothes. Elesa lays claim to her as a cute niece and makes her SO MUCH farmer chic clothing. (Side note- Cyllene doubles as law enforcement (of a sort, there's really no crime in Jubilife Village because... there's no one really living in Jubilife Village!) as well as Kamado's aid with the town. Elesa has a crush on Cyllene, which is required, but Cyllene is highly stressed and quite expressionless, and Elesa is often too nervous to really do much more than offer to make her custom clothes as a way of flirting, which Cyllene honestly takes as her just being nice... this is my own ridiculous little ship that I love.) Akari thinks Elesa is funny and enjoys spending time with her, though she does do a lot of teasing her about her crush.
Laventon and Rei double as livestock owners and the local vet (and vet tech). Rei is a couple years older than Akari and deeply protective of this Tiny Baby in the universal way of "oh my god this person is just barely younger than me, they're a baby I must protect". We all have those moments. I know it. You know it. Rei is always trying to give Akari free stuff that she insists on paying for. Laventon, Rei's father (adopted or otherwise, idk), also gives her free stuff but more subtly. Taking care of the animals. Giving her advice on the best food. Telling her they "just" got a certain food in and asking her to use it and give him her opinion.
There's ALSO a train that runs nearby. It used to run through the town, and actually passes by Akari's farm, but "improvements" and speed had it passing by instead. Think of how Route 66 used to be the main thoroughfare across the country until bypasses were put in- that's essentially the "station" in Jubilife. Akari always waves at the train (to which she gets a responding horn, ALWAYS to her delight) and is somewhat beset upon by Ingo and Emmet one day, who came to visit Elesa and were curious about the girl on the farm. Again, they immediately take her under their wing, and they delight in both picking on her and making her take care of herself. Akari is terrible at taking care of herself and frequently faints due to overexertion (Elesa, Passelle(?), and Cyllene hate this but are unable to convince her to take breaks, drink water, and eat better because Akari is afraid she'll be thrown out if Kamado thinks she isn't working hard enough and won't listen to them tell her thats not how it works. 13 year olds!!!) and scares the twins one day as they find her passed out in the fields after her pokemon sought their attention while the train passed by. They manage to convince enough people that adding Jubilife Village to their stop (or a different stop) would be beneficial for everyone and end up somewhat taking over that route. It means they see Elesa every day (win! Beties reunited!), get to ensure Akari is taking care of herself, and get to give their pokemon (especially the large ones) plenty of room to roam. The subway bosses AND the former gym leader being in one spot also makes the village a draw for battlers.
Akari hates her house and doesn't put any work into it. It's her own little rebellion against Kamado. She'll improve the farmland and the stable and the barn and the cool but the house? FUCK that house. (Everyone hates that she literally STILL SLEEPS IN THAT FALLING APART FUCKING HOUSE.)
It's another of my silly self indulgences that I need to revisit 😂 especially since the comic of Ingo and Emmet being dared to adopt Akari by Akari has reached 100 notes and I said I'd redraw it if that happened fksbsjs

Chapter 11
After Rei's visit, Ingo had been thinking. The boy had said he felt left out, like he didn't have much of a purpose, and that he wasn't very capable. Obviously that wasn't true, and Rei had more than proved it when he had chased off that Zoroark that had tried to harm Lady Sneasler and her babies.
Regardless, Rei obviously wasn't happy or content with his life as only a Galaxy Corps member, and Ingo had taken notice of how happy Rei seemed when taking care of Pokémon and when battling.
And with Ingo himself, he wasn't sure if or when he would need to leave his clan and the village- and should he do so, he wasn't sure how long he would be gone. Lady Sneasler and the Battlegrounds wouldn't take care of themselves.
Ingo had thought of something that he thought could benefit both himself and Rei.
Rei had proved both his willingness, skill and passion for taking care of Pokémon and battling; so Ingo had decided, perhaps he could replace Ingo's role at the Battlegrounds; although, only if Rei wanted to, of course. Although, as strong as he is, Ingo couldn't have Rei be Sneasler's replacement warden; he'd have to be a part of the Pearl Clan and learn about their culture and nobles for that to happen.
Regardless, Ingo thought Rei would have a blast running the Battlegrounds!
Ingo had spoken to Cyllene, the new Commander of the Galaxy Team, about his idea. Cyllene was a bit hesitant, but she trusted Ingo, Akari and Rei. They had all proved multiple levels of strength and passion. After hearing Ingo tell her what Rei had accomplished, along with what Rei was struggling with, Cyllene thought she'd give it a chance.
"Will anything be happening on the Battlegrounds?" Cyllene questioned Ingo
"Just Rei doing a few battles, and conducting battles on the grounds for a few days at most. He will also accompany me on the Battlegrounds for some time." Ingo explained
Cyllenne hummed to herself, nodding, "That seems fine. Just make sure nothing gets out of control, understood?"
"Yes, ma'am!" Ingo exclaimed before turning and exiting the office.
Ingo found Rei in Professor Laventon's office. Laventon and Akari were out on another expedition, and Rei was taking some notes on the blackboard.
Rei turned at the sound of the door opening, smiling when he saw Ingo enter the room.
"Hi, Ingo!" Rei exclaimed, "Is there something you need?"
Ingo approached Rei, stopping to look at the work Rei had done on the blackboard.
"Excellent work, Rei! I don't want to interrupt it," Ingo explained, "but I have your surprise prepared! I can escort you to it, if you'd like and have the time."
Rei nodded, "I was hoping you'd say that! I just finished these notes, so yeah, I can go!"
Ingo smiled and nodded, "Follow me, then!"
Ingo led Rei to the Battlegrounds, Rei looking confused.
"The Battlegrounds? My surprise is here?" Rei questioned
"Yes, but you haven't let me tell you the specifics." Ingo replied
Ingo turned to Rei, making sure Rei was listening, "Rei, I know you're not too happy as a Galaxy Team member. I want you to be able to pursue something that makes you happier. And I'm sure you know about how I've been thinking of searching for my origins, right?"
Rei simply nodded, a bit lost
"Well, there's a chance that I may have to leave for a while if I want to do more searching for my origins." Ingo explained "Not only that, I've seen how much you and your Pokémon enjoy battling. Are you catching my drift?"
Rei's eyes were wide, and Ingo could see a sparkle within them. "You mean, you want me to help with the Battlegrounds?"
Ingo nodded, "That's right! But only if that's alright with you, Rei. I don't want to leave you with all the work or nothing to do, so I promise that even when I'm not gone, you'll be able to do these fun things, and if you're overwhelmed, you're absolutely allowed to withdraw. So, how does being my helper sound?"
Rei squeaked and jumped up and down, shaking his fists, "Yes, yes, I'd love to, Ingo!"
Ingo laughed, happy about how excited Rei seemed.
"Well then, let me show you the basics!"
Ingo spent a few hours showing and teaching Rei the basics of the Battlegrounds; the ones Rei didn't already know, of course. Ingo told Zisu that Rei was going to become Ingo's helper, and Zisu was happy to accept Rei into the team. Luckily, Rei didn't need much teaching about how battles worked; he was already very skilled in that area.
"So, all you need to do is stick around this area so people can report to you if they wish to conduct a battle or ask any questions regarding the Battlegrounds." Ingo explained, "On any slow days, you're more than welcome to ask around for a battle of your own, along with any other activities that won't interrupt your work. And of course, if you want or need to withdraw, just let Zisu know, and all will be taken care of."
"Wow! Thank you so, so much, Ingo!" Rei smiled, "I'll make sure to do my very best!"
"Of course!" Ingo said, "How about we conduct your first try as a Battlegrounds Manager today? I'm sure someone will be coming in for a battle soon!"
Rei nodded, "Yes, I'd love to! Whoever challenges me better be prepared!"
-
Rei was standing in the shade, petting his Pikachu. Ingo was speaking with Zisu. Rei couldn't hear what they were talking about, but he was sure it was important.
Then, someone walked up to the Battlegrounds.
It was Akari!
"Hey there, Rei!" Akari waved at her rival, "Finally taking your battling training up a notch, huh?"
"Not just that!" Rei responded, "I've officially become a helper of the Battlegrounds!"
Ingo and Zisu walked over to the two, seemingly alerted by the noise.
"It seems you may have your first task as a Battlegrounds Manager on your hands, Rei." Ingo commented
"That's right!" Akari stated, "I heard about you becoming a helper, and I thought I'd battle here!"
"Alright then!" Rei replied, "Who can I bring you here for a battle?"
Akari chuckled, "You, silly!"
Rei seemed surprised. He glanced at Ingo and Zisu, who both nodded, then at Akari, who had a determined twinkle in her eyes.
An equally resolute grin then spread across Rei's face. He nodded, "Well then, you're on!"
Tumblr media
"Typhlosion, use Shadow Ball!" Akari commanded her Pokémon.
"Pikachu, use Electro Ball to counter it!" Rei ordered.
Typhlosion formed a sphere of darkness in front of itself before flinging it at its opponent. Pikachu jumped up, forming a ball of electricity on its tail, before throwing it at Typhlosion's attack. The two attacks collided, causing a small explosion.
"Now, Iron Tail!" Rei shouted.
Akari hollered, "Dodge it, Typhlosion!"
Pikachu, using the smoke from the explosion to its advantage, was able to catch Typhlosion off guard and land its attack, regardless of what Akari had said.
Typhlosion stumbled back a bit, Pikachu jumping back to its side of the battlegrounds.
"Smart move!" Akari exclaimed, "But don't get too cocky! Typhlosion, Flamethrower!"
"Dodge the attack, Pikachu!" Rei commanded, "Then use Thunder Bolt!"
Typhlosion formed fire in its mouth before spewing it out at Pikachu, who jumped over the attack and landed at Typhlosion's side. It began to ready an attack, when something happened.
"Tackle!" Akari shouted. And with that, Typhlosion suddenly charged at Pikachu, headbutting it. Pikachu stumbled back, struggling a bit, before it fell to the ground.
"Pikachu is unable to battle! Akari is the winner!" Zisu announced
Rei went to pick up Pikachu, who was now asleep. Ingo and Zisu walked around, giving both trainers what they needed to heal their Pokémon.
Rei and Akari made sure to give all of their Pokémon rewarding pats before returning them to their Pokéballs for a rest.
"You did great!" Rei told his Pikachu as he patted it gently on the head. Pikachu squeaked happily.
"Here, how about you rest for now." Rei said as he took out Pikachu's pokéball, the Pokémon nodding, Rei then returning Pikachu to its Pokéball.
"Awesome job, Typhlosion! Let's go back to your Pokéball for now, okay?" Akari exclaimed. Typhlosion made a low rumble of content, Akari returning her starter to its Pokéball.
"Bravo, Akari, Bravo, Rei!" Ingo congratulated the two trainers, "you both did excellent, what a battle that was!"
"Yeah," Rei nodded, "yeah…"
"Hey, don't feel bad, buddy!" Zisu told Rei, "You had Akari down to two Pokémon! She's one of if not the strongest trainer around!"
"Yeah- and I wasn't going easy on you, either!" Akari added
"They're both right, Rei." Ingo spoke, "I've also lost battles before. It's nothing to be ashamed of. As long as you and your Pokémon have fun, that's all that matters. And even so, again, you are indeed very strong and have much potential. I think you will make an incredible helper at the Battlegrounds!"
Rei felt Pikachu's Pokéball move a little, as if it was agreeing with the others. Rei smiled.
"Yeah. Yeah, you're all right!" Rei faced Akari, "I had a lot of fun, Akari! Maybe we should battle again sometime!"
"For sure!" Akari replied, "Well, I gotta get going now. Thank you for the battle, Rei! I'll see you around!"
And with that, Akari left the Battlegrounds.
Ingo turned to Rei, "So, what do you think? If you don't like the job, you don't have to do it."
"Not at all!" Rei answered, "Like you said, I love battling. Maybe sometimes I'll doubt myself some, but I'll make sure to grow over it! I think that's a part of becoming a better trainer, right?"
"Absolutely!" Ingo responded
"I had a good time!" Rei stated, "I think I'll really like this job!"
Ingo nodded, "As long as you and your Pokémon are happy and safe, that is excellent!"
Zisu approached both Ingo and Rei, "Sorry to interrupt, but it's getting close to time to close up the Battlegrounds."
"Right." Ingo nodded, "it's also about time I go tend to my clan duties- and you should probably head to your home, Rei."
Rei nodded, "It is getting rather late."
"Well, if you ever need anything regarding the Battlegrounds, you can come to us." Ingo explained
Rei beamed, "Thank you Ingo, Ms. Zisu!"
Zisu smiled in return, "No problem, little buddy!"
"You are most welcome, Rei; Thank you for your assistance!" Ingo answered
"I'm super glad to help! I'll definitely come back tomorrow!" Rei said as he began to exit the Battlegrounds
"Of course! Take care!" Ingo and Zisu told the boy.
When Rei was gone, Ingo turned to Zisu, "I'm very glad he's happy with this job. At first I was going to just ask the guards and someone from my clan to take my roles, but I thought Rei could use something to bring his motivation back," Ingo told Zisu, "it seems to be working, and I'm happy about that."
"I'm glad, too. The kid has lots of potential, as you said!" Zisu commented, "You and him have a nice bond. I'm sure he's happy you're the one teaching him."
"And I am happy to teach him as well." Ingo replied, "I am glad he trusts me."
"Yep!" Zisu nodded, "Sorry to get off topic again, but I should get to organizing things for tomorrow."
Ingo nodded, "I must get back to my clan as well. Thank you very much for your help, Zisu."
Zisu smiled, "No problem, Ingo! Be safe!"
"You too!" Ingo said as he left the Battlegrounds. As he walked down his track to his clan, he smiled. He was worried Rei may not like the job, or get upset, but he really did take it with stride!
He was glad Rei was on the road to happier places, just like Ingo hoped his road to his origins would lead him to the same thing.

Still not going to write this, but I came up with a general plotline of my ideal Submas Reunion fic
-Ingo has been gone for three years, seven months, and twenty days and Emmet is...Functional. He has bad days still, but they're getting father and fewer between.
--It took Emmet time to reach Functional, but he had Elesa, Uncle Drayden, and Iris to get him there.
--Emmet still runs the Battle Subway, Single Line in the morning, Double Line in the evening.
---The Multi Line is closed. Indefinitely
-Ingo has been gone for three years, seven months, and twenty days and there is a family visiting from Sinnoh that is about to accidentally change his life.
--In the family is a young kid with a fascination with ancient Hisui history and a brand new book to read on the trip.
---The kid sees Emmet and is like "ARE YOU DRESSED LIKE WARDEN INGO ON PURPOSE?! YOU LOOK JUST LIKE HIM!! SEE??" And shows Emmet...Ingo?? In a history book?
----Kid let's Emmet photograph the book pages while he infodumps
-Emmet does research and makes a plan
--Emmet was supposed to be going on vacation to Kanto. Uncle Drayden's orders.
---[Functional does not always account for things like 'taking time off', but that's what family is for.]
-It isn't hard to go from Kanto to Johto.
--Finding Celebi is harder, but not impossible
-Ingo has been gone for three years, eight months, and nine days and Emmet has acquired Celebi, and is now going to Sinnoh.
--Unfortunately, Emmet is so hyper focused that he hasn't noticed his X-Transceiver is still on Travel Mode and none of his messages have gotten through to the others.
---You know, like email for Drayden and Elesa with a photo of himself and Celebi as well as all his proof on where Ingo is.
----And his daily updates such as "I've befriended a Celebi who will take me to Hisui."
-Meanwhile, Emmet has been gone for three days and Iris, who is Joltik-sitting, goes into Emmet's room to find stray Joltik's and finds a...familiar mess.
--Oh no, Emmet found another 'lead', no wonder he stopped arguing about the vacation!
---Elesa and Drayden make calls and find out that no, Emmet isn't in Kanto, he got on a boat to Johto almost right away.
----Everyone prepares for Emmet's eventual despondent return, just like every other time he thought he found a lead on where Ingo was
-----Everyone also prepares to scold Emmet for vanishing without a trace.
-Ingo has been gone for three years, eight months, and fifteen days and Emmet and Celebi go to Hisui.
--He literally appears in front of one of the other Pearl Clan Wardens
---"I am Emmet! I am looking for my brother!"
---"How did you just appear like that?"
---"I got help from Celebi to travel several hundred years into the past. You are in this photograph with my brother. Where is he?"
-Emmet is brought to Irida, who happens to be with 'Akari' and Rei. Rei runs off
--Irida isn't buying it, but Akari does and mentions what Ingo remembered about a man in white who looked like him and smiled
--I should clarify this would 100% also be an 'Uncle Ingo' fic.
---Emmet was already aware from the history books that Warden Ingo had no memory, he is overjoyed that Ingo did in fact remember him.
----"Also...Are you Dawn Berlitz?? The missing champion of Sinnoh??"
-----Emmet has been paying attention to Missing Person Cases
-----"She's the Champion of WHAT?!"
------Cue casual reveal that Hisui is called Sinnoh in the future and that Dawn is the strongest trainer in the whole region
-----Akari/Dawn: "Huh...That feels...right."
---Emmet brought a miniature photo album of himself and Ingo, since he knew Ingo was missing his memories.
----It's pretty convincing
-Ingo shows up, having been fetched by Rei when he saw Emmet
--Ingo still doesn't FULLY remember, but the moment he sees Emmet, he knows Emmet's name and knows for sure who Emmet is.
---Cue hugs
--Ingo DOES fully remember after saving Emmet from something stupid
---"SAFETY CHECKS EMMET!"
----Emmet is too happy Ingo remembers to pay attention to the scolding he'd receiving
-Emmet finally notices that none of his messages were sent.
--"Oh...Iris, Elesa, and Uncle Drayden are not going to be happy with me..."
--Ingo, resigned: "Emmet, what did you do?"
--Emmet: "Nothing!"
--Ingo: "Emmet..."
--Emmet hands Ingo his phone "there is a good chance we are both missing people now..."
--Ingo: "EMMET!!"
-Emmet stays in Hisui with Ingo and Dawn until she finishes the Pokedex and then they all go home to their own time.
--Emmet releases Celebi
-Ingo has been gone for three years, ten months, and eleven days and Emmet has been gone for two months and five days when they return to Nimbasa City.
--Coincidentally, it is the EXACT date Emmet was due back from his vacation.
---Emmet: "Right on schedule!"
--Emmet goes shopping and Ingo takes a nap on the couch, being cuddled by his, completely ecstatic, Unovan team.
--Drayden and Iris stop by the apartment with groceries hoping, but not really expecting, that Emmet will be there.
---The door is unlocked, this is a good sign
----Cue this scene.
--Meanwhile Emmet has been spotted getting groceries and Elesa finds out and leaves work for the rest of the day to chew him out.
---She arrives at his apartments five minutes after he gets back with groceries, by which point Drayden is already scolding him while Iris and Ingo are putting the groceries away.
----Record scratch
-----"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!"
------Ingo and Emmet at the same time "Ancient Sinnoh."
-------"WHAT?!"
But again, not writing this, just getting the ideas out of my head where other people can enjoy them.
Also sorry about the format, I don't know it's my theme or the Hellsite itself but bullet points weren't working right so I had to make do
