!! chia drop the ult dream logs !!! i need to compare notes bc ive only ever dreamt of vernon booing my “lesbians for woozi” signs at concerts T^T or sth similarly stupid
AMG NAURRR NOT VERNON BOOING 😭😭😭 also this is so funny to me bc my carat bestie’s ult is Vernon and is a lesbian then one time while watching some svt stage compilations, it dawned on my twin and I that… his vibes are just very made for lesbians 😂 like the one who would be the go to bias for them (it’s an inside joke so this is all very light hearted. She introduced us to svt so we always associated vernon with her before)
honestly thinking of making it a weekly corner thing if I haven’t set up my writing blog yet. they’re very fic worthy plots that are also very unfinished 😂 I can share a couple aside from my recent Shua dream that I’m unable to move on from. For some reason he’s always my husband/boyfriend in my dreams
[dream log 1] — in one dream, I had to go apartment hunting and asked help from 95z, Seungkwan, DK, and Wonu. somehow Shua and I got into an arranged engagement even though we were kind of like frenemies.
while apartment hunting we found a baby fairy and we somehow had to take care of it together. Shua had to semi-move in until the fairy child matures and we’d sleep in one bed but would sleep back to back only to wake up facing each other 😭 idk dream-self can’t stand his ass! He’d be so sassy while handling the baby. I think we were on our way to becoming friends though bc eventually I started to consider what he would want for breakfast and he would stand up for me when the receptionist at the lobby would be mean to me.
[dream log 2] — In another dream, idk I think I lucked out with both kyeomshua bc I dreamt that svt are a university cover band and we travelled out of town together for this battle of the bands contest. I think I acted as some sort of manager my yachi hitoka role lol so I had to be there as support and make sure they’re on track!
But as night fell, all thoughts of practice flew out the window and the boys started to gossip about the other groups participating (which was funny bc we were set up in cabins and the ones across us housed their rivals) and I would turn to Chan like “can you fling me in there bc I wanna hear the gossip too” so I ended up listening to their juicy gossip while being cuddled by Shua (boyfriend 1) while Seokmin (boyfriend 2) was flashing puppy eyes bc Mingyu was inbetween the 3 of us 😭
It was chaos tho bc eventually the gossip would go outside while they’re playing foot volleyball and I had to retrieve the ball every time. So Seokmin will be trailing behind me every time I had to pick it up near the rival team’s camp bc he’s worried they might scare me.

👑 Vil is a famous person within Twisted Wonderland, and, due to his standing, he was getting many different offers for some movies that were going into production
👑 One stood out more than others, it was the retelling of an old book series that his father used to read to him all the time as a kid, The Apple of the Roses
👑 This story was kinda like a fairy-tale, with its own twist, that being the main character turned out to be the real villain of the story, and it just felt nice having himself be offered such a role, as the supposed 'main antagonist'
👑 He knew there was going to be singing, as it was specified as a musical-re-telling, so, he also expected his character's love interest to be a grand singer themselves
👑 But, when it was announced that you, the newest addiction to a mass of rising singers, was set to be his love interest, he suddenly really wanted to meet you and start practicing, which was not normal for him
👑 When you stood in front of him, dressed up all nice while maintaining the most polite expression you could muster, he was quite taken-aback, normally people are super on-edge around him
👑 Well, everyone besides that damned Neige
👑 Vil set his headphones on his ears as he watched you do the same across the glass panel, laying the sheet of lyrics on the stand as you adjusted the microphone to fit your needs, and he cleared his throat and nodded his signal to the people viewing
👑 He'd be lying if he said he wasn't shocked when he heard you sing your lines, your honey-coated voice swapping between powerful and soft like nothing
👑 Oh, he was going to enjoy making this more than he thought...

🏹 Rook listened intently as Vil spoke about your talent, about how your voice could vary based on the tone and loudness of the music being played, and Rook was very much wanting to meet you and hear your voice

🏹 So, when Vil decided to have Rook go with him on a small trip during Spring Vacation to watch him perform and record with you, he jumped up and pledged how amazing this was and honored he'd be to see the most fair and the fairest-voiced in the land in the same room
🏹 You walked inside and hugged Vil, asking how his time at Night Raven was and he answered with an polite 'well' and he introduced you and the hunter to one another
🏹 He put you off at first, with how blunt and lovely his compliments were. You, obviously, had many admires sending letters to your apartment, but, hearing how genuine his were, you got flushed
🏹 Vil smiled and lightly grabbed your hand, telling Rook to ready his ears, since recording was going to start soon
🏹 There was a small glass panel separating you and Vil from one-another, and, when you started the beautiful melody with a soft undertone while Vil was strong, his eyes sparkled
🏹 He heard you over the many apps that the students of Pomefiore would play, and he knew your voice was amazing, but, to him, it was far better in-person
🏹 Rook must speak to you about this later on! But, for now, he can enjoy himself in humming alongside you and his housewarden

🍎 You answered the call of Vil's and smiled, greeting your old friend, asking him what he needed, in which he answered with a classic 'someone wanted to talk to you'
🍎 Cocking an eyebrow lightly, you chuckled and told him to show you whoever wished to speak to your lovely self, and hearing that, Epel began to hide his face out of embarrassment
🍎 Of course, he had heard about you from his first year friends, Ace and Deuce, but he had never really dug into anything to find out who you were exactly, he grew up listening to pure country music, give him a break

blu lock top artists on Spotify??? i need your thoughts on it
anon you had me pulling up my spotify playlists and browsing through the entirety of genius.com for three hours straight. i'm going to tweak this prompt a little bit and include specific songs that best represent them since it's easier for me to explain that way.

RIN
the fanon answer for this is chase atlantic. while their songs do encapsulate parts of his personality (mostly the edgy teenager and disillusioned youth persona), i feel like this choice does not do his full character justice.
the canon answer for this is king gnu, more specifically the song "prayer x." i can picture this since rin seems like the type to enjoy alternative rock/indie, but the fact that it's the ending theme to banana fish is what gets to me. like...do you see yourself in ash or something? i hope you don't cus it doesn't end well. that anime had me bawling my eyes out for months, and i still can't think about it without breaking down again.
furthermore, the lyrics and music video to this song are very cryptic and borderline nihilistic. for example, "hiding behind this nonchalant smile" and "my life's spark will wink out of existence." i feel like this speaks volumes about rin's mental health and internal thought process. he obviously does not process his emotions normally and instead represses them. he also struggles with the idea of finding a purpose in what is otherwise a cyclical routine with no end. he's worried and, quite frankly, afraid that if he ever stops pursuing his dream, everything will come crumbling down, and he will have to face all the demons he's avoided for so long. the main theme here is that he cannot face his reality (the fact that sae's dream is not his own.) so he does everything in order to escape this fact even if it ultimately destroys him.
from my own playlists, i'd assign him the following songs/artists:
"beautiful boy" by john lennon
this is a love letter to baby rin. i feel like he would've enjoyed this song as either a lullaby or something he listened to on car rides to the beach during summer vacations. he probably still listens to this when it's raining outside or he's had a bad day. reminds him of his childhood and the good parts of it.
"the love club" by lorde
this is something pre-teen rin listened to. the irony is spot-on, and i feel like the lyrics would be relevant during a time when he was going through his rebellious phase and fully fleshing out his place in society. in this instance, the club would metaphorically be wherever his brother is at, whether that's the guys sae meets in spain or the group of football players considered "top-notch" in japan. everything is about finding a place in this club/clique in an effort to become free and differentiate himself from others. the only problem is that rin ironically loses his freedom because he tries so hard to be among the best. he signs his life away in pursuit of a dream, and it's something that now defines him.
"the only problem i got with the club / is how you're severed from the people / who watched you grow up"
this lyric in particular could apply to either one of the itoshi brothers. it's one of the caveats that comes with fame. you gain everything, but you lose everything before that. both of the itoshis likely experienced some amount of separation from their loved ones, including each other. also lorde's vocals are beautiful as always, so there's no reason not to include this song.
"howlin' 404" by DEAN
the production for this song is on point. the intro has a segment from a 1930s american horror radio program which is fitting because rin canonically watches horror movies. i think this song is something rin might listen to during cold autumns or midnights when he just can't sleep.
lyrically, there is the motif of a time loop which is also present in "prayer x." rin's character itself just has this connection with the raw grittiness of existentialism and this idea of repeating days without purpose. (in fact, he would make a great psychological thriller lead.) rin is also a control freak. if he lets one loose end go, it will unravel the entire thing. that matches up with the idea of "killing me softly." rin would rather prolong his pain than have it ripped from him all at once and leave him with nothing. i find this in a lot of people in real life too. even if your trauma wasn't good for you, it sometimes becomes the only thing you truly own. it's like that one quote from bojack horseman. "if i don't, that means that all the damage i got isn't good damage, it's just damage." rin feels like he has something to prove, and if he fails, all his suffering would've been for nothing.
"moonchild" by RM
i may be a bit biased since i love the mono mixtape, and i've written a rin fic about celestial bodies, but....this song just fits him. there's also a remarkable similarity with the lyrics of the previous songs i've listed. i'm just going to list a few:
"smiling in endless pain / you know / there's no freedom when you say freedom out loud"
one thing i love about RM is that he doesn't shy away from character flaws. he writes songs specifically for those who are always picked last, who aren't remarkable in any way, who feel weighed down by their normality. he gives them their spotlight and due diligence. for example, the entirety of the chorus is a repeat of "moonchild, you shine." i find this interesting since it's usually the sun that shines. but the sun is already sae, and rin is relegated to being the moon. yet even though the moon doesn't have its own light (it merely reflects the sun), it still shines bright in the darkness. rin doesn't know it yet, but he himself is a big role model for others such as isagi, his fans, and people just like him. so yeah....i'd take this song as a message of hope for future rin.

the fanon answer is lana del rey, and i would agree to a certain extent. under the right circumstances, he could become one of those dreamy, emotionally stunted, and tired men you guys all lust over. if y/n ever wrote a romantic song about him, it would be either "west coast" (for the spanish influences) or "art deco" (for the vibes.)
the headcanon answer is nothing. i don't think he listens to music much. even if he did, it would be probably classical/instrumental or just white noise for his long flights. i imagine him listening to erik satie's "gymnopédie no. 3" on a train ride or something.
from my own playlists, i'm going to give him these songs/artists:
"remind me" by röyksopp
i don't know how to explain this, but this song gives a bittersweet sense of nostalgia. think early 2000s when the TV footage was still grainy and had retro graphics. you're carrying around your mini mp3 player whilst wandering through the airport and wondering how the hell you even ended up there. that's the general ambience of this song.
lyrically, the song also matches well with sae. i'm going to give you a few examples:
"it's only been a week / the rush of being home in rapid fading"
again, this is a tribute to the disconnection sae feels from his home. he goes everywhere, but he belongs nowhere. when he finally returns to japan, he finds himself missing spain. when he's in madrid, he thinks about the ocean back in kamakura. there never is a place that truly fills that gaping hole in his chest. i also feel like sae experiences FOMO on a whole other level. he constantly feels like something is wrong/missing and he's not doing enough.
"brave men tell the truth / the wise man's tools are analogies and puzzles"
the idea here is that though sae is blunt with his words, he is a coward with his intentions/true feelings. he can brutally call out someone without hesitation, but to actually reveal his own truths and motives? he'd rather shrivel up in a hole and die. this is especially applicable to love. to him, a wise man is someone who doesn't open his heart up easily. instead, he hints at his feelings, and whether or not you can figure that out is on you. sae hates it when others play games with him. it's where his hypocrisy lies. he demands straightforward honesty from others, but he himself will unintentionally play games with you if it means he can hide himself behind his walls.
"a woman holds her tongue / knowing silence will speak for her"
this is the closest you guys are ever going to get to sae itoshi's ideal type. he loves people who don't need to say something for him to believe it. they just get it. your silence is automatically enough for him to know that you love him. similarly, you don't even need to speak a word to understand what he's feeling.
"night shift" by lucy dacus
this song is sae if he was that one ex-boyfriend who really fucked you up emotionally, and you never got over him even though you said you did. now that i think about it, the story could be told from either POV. this could be sae trying to erase you from his mind, or it could also be you post-breakup.
"you've got a 9 to 5 / so i'll take the night shift / and i'll never see you again / if i can help it"
i know this one lyric caused controversy all over tiktok, so i'm going to add my own interpretation. at face value, this is exactly what it says it is. sae doesn't want to see you again, nor do you. he's willing to go out of his way just to avoid you, and truthfully he would. when sae finds himself in trouble, he doesn't look for something new to fix him. instead, he cuts everything off and subtracts anything that is deadweight. if you're out of his life, then you're out of his life. he's not coming back for you (or at least that's what he says to convince himself). same thing with rin. he knows he hurt rin, but he's not going to go back and try to make it right. he's going to move on and try to justify his actions every step of the way. one day, rin will move on too, and then sae would have been right all along. (unfortunately, that is not the way things work, but that's a lesson for another time.)
the alternative interpretation is that y/n is the other woman. this could be literal as in sae already has someone else in his life, and he only sees you at night. you're only ever going to be the night shift. it could also be metaphorical as in you're merely a distraction in the grand scheme of things. you're the mistress, but football is his wife if that makes sense. his career will always take precedence.
"you get me so high" by the neighborhood
this song is all the words sae wished he said to rin but never did. it made me cry because everything would have been so different if they had just set aside their pride and truthfully sought each other out.
"hope you don't regret it / i pushed a lot back but i can't forget it"
repressing feelings seems to be a recurring issue with the itoshi brothers. like....maybe if i just push it out of sight, it will also go out of mind. and at its core, this all stems from fear. fear of facing the consequences, the hypotheticals, the terrifying realization that you did something you regret and there really is no turning back from it. but realistically, if you think about it, a lot of this is the byproduct of overthinking. sometimes the situation isn't as complicated as we might make it out to be. sometimes an apology doesn't fix everything, but it's a proposition to be something more, an attempt at a solution. but sae and rin are so blindsided by their own internal turmoil that they cannot see this.
"for a long time i took it all for granted / i really thought we had it / but at the time it was more than i could manage"
ah....the "taking for granted" part. i could ramble on about that for hours. i think it really is some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy that we never miss something until it's gone. and in a way, it's not something that we can always control. the value you assign to a person/object when you have it is going to be fundamentally different from the value you assign to it when it's no longer in your grasp. that's how scarcity works. something with a limited supply is always going to be worth more. the vice versa works as well. you might yearn after something but then throw it away the moment you finally have it and grow tired of it. this sort of dilemma that comes with appreciation is so common i really wouldn't blame the itoshi brothers for what they did. it is immensely difficult to know when you're going to lose something or when you need to let it go. and sometimes it's hard to be constantly grateful for what you have because many of us are wired to want something more. tbh that's what makes the itoshis relatable.
"if we can leave it all behind us / and meet in between"
now sae would never say this unless he himself had actually reflected on what happened and fully processed it. but maybe in the future, they could set aside their differences and reach out to each other. (this is how i cope)
"but i just had to let you know / i never meant to hurt you, though / i had all my motives / i didn't know they wouldn't mix with your emotions / i just had to reach my goals / never knew i'd meet you though"
that's the thing with personal ambition. sometimes you get so caught up in yourself, you forget all about others. and this isn't really selfishness, or at least intentional selfishness. it just sort of happened that way. you never meant to hurt them, but you still somehow did.
"we should stick together / you're my best friend / i'll love you forever"
yeah....this line was the one that did it for me. something about the dysfunctional sibling dynamic just eats away at my insides. like....i could've loved you, we could've been so much together, but why aren't we? what we have isn't hate, but it isn't the love i know and crave either.
"we could be the greatest / it doesn't matter if we're never rich or famous"
ok but if rin ever heard this leave sae's lips, i think all of his trauma would just be magically healed. he just wants his brother to see him. like fully see him and love him. but alas, what is blue lock without angst, am i right?
"love in the dark" by adele
now i don't think sae would ever listen to adele, but the lyrics are just too fitting. i was going to write a fic on this, but it's going to have to ferment a bit in the drafts for now. basically this is the entire rin/sae traumatic scene but as a melodramatic torch song with adele's heavenly vocals.
"take your eyes off of me so i can leave / i'm far too ashamed to do it with you watching me"
um...this is literally sae's internal monologue??? i feel like letting go of things is something both the itoshi brothers struggle with. their lives are constantly pulling them in different directions, and eventually they become numb to it all. they don't form any strong attachment to anything besides football because that's the one thing that won't change for them. in a way, this is necessary for their character development (in the sense that they need to discern for themselves what to keep and what to let go), but it also destroys any sense of belonging they might have (hence why they feel lonely.)
"don't try to change my mind / i'm being cruel to be kind"
sae would definitely say this. like word for word. if only he wasn't a vague dumbass with no communication skills.
"i can't love you in the dark / it feels like we're oceans apart"
this is literally their dynamic in one lyric. there is the physical distance, and then there's the emotional distance.
"we're not the only ones, / i don't regret a thing / every word i've said, / you know i'll always mean"
this sort of reminds me when sae said that the world is huge, and there's so many players way better than him out there. i think spain really gave him a reality check, and he grew angry at rin when rin couldn't understand his disillusionment.
"everything changed me / and i don't think you can save me"
adele sort of echoes this softly at the end of the song. i feel like sae would do that too. he wouldn't admit his own insecurities until the very end, and only then does the truth come out.
"i'll sleep when i'm older" by bruno major
this is sae when he's older and fully mature, preferably after he meets you. he finally decides to damn it all and do what he wants.
"conversations with elders and the wisdom they bring ... / the view from an aeroplane at twelve thousand feet"
sae views things that previously annoyed him in a new light. he used to hate his elders, but he visited you and your mother once, and something changed within him. now he calls his parents more often, and his eyes linger on the old couples near the park benches. sometimes, his gaze softens just a bit when he imagines the two of you growing old just like them.
flights used to be a mundane part of his routine, but now he finds himself leaning over your window seat to see the mountains down below. the clouds and sunny weather set him aglow. and you just look so pretty when you fall asleep on his shoulder. he doesn't ever want this change.
"meet god on a mountain top along with the stars / find love somewhere, anywhere / fall deep from the start"
sae used to avoid love, but now he's running at it full-force. people tend to shy away from making sae a romantic because it seems too ooc. however, in the right situation, i think sae could entirely abandon his previous ideals and become someone else entirely. (that's why it's called a character evolution guys.)
"misplace my mind and follow my heart"
again, if you're able to make sae lose all rationality and let his heart guide him instead, then you've really done something. kudos to you for penetrating the walls of the coldest asshole known to mankind.
"i'll be a firework, not a flickering flame / treat life all around me like a one-player game"
this one lyric applies both to younger and older sae. younger sae is someone unafraid of risking it all if it means he can achieve something worthwhile. it doesn't matter how many players he has to defeat, how many people he has to leave behind. in this world, it is just him and the goal he has to accomplish.
however, after he's mellowed out after a few years (i'd say around middle age), he probably reinterprets this as something else. he's not going to constrain himself to his tunnel vision anymore. there's so much more to life than that.
"i'll go to the party and forget all the names / should it climb back to haunt me, / it ends all the same"

KAISER
the fanon answer is the weeknd. i'm not going to lie, i completely agree with this one. i saw this one edit of him to "party monster," and i can say i have been fully enlightened and converted. however, this is not just about a toxic male manipulator anthem. it's much more than that.
this is about running away from the ugliest parts of yourself, becoming a slave to your vices, knowing you're broken somewhere and you can never fix it. i would say his character is most similar to "starboy" in the fact that he literally flaunts everything he has to hide the fact that deep down inside, he really has nothing else to hold onto. "starboy" is all about the status symbol (money, red lamborghinis, glass table girls turning into ebony table girls lol). but at the end of the day, he doesn't really have anything except an empty heart and a satirical quip for all those who made him famous. the same theme applies to "the morning" and "house of balloons."
in the romantic sense, i think "don't break my heart" would represent kaiser. and no, this is not a justification for him being an f-boy. it's more so an exploration of why people might think he is an f-boy. i do not condone his actions, but i do try to understand them. in particular, i feel like the lyrics of "sacrifice" also fit him well.
"i was born in a city / where the winter nights don't ever sleep / so this life's always with me / the ice inside my veins will never bleed"
i headcanon kaiser as being born in either berlin or munich. and if you don't know anything about those two places, just know that you freeze your ass off during wintertime. i think it's interesting how his past could be intrinsically tied with a place, and he takes a piece of his past self with him wherever he goes. the ice in veins part also made me think about how kaiser would rather freeze up every weakness within himself than let them run free and make him human.
"every time you try to fix me / i know you'll never find that missing piece"
guys...did you hear that? to all you delusional people out there, this is your service announcement. you cannot fix someone who does not want to be fixed. write that down and memorize it. all meaningful change starts with a shift in mindset, and if they themselves are not in the right headspace to recognize that something is wrong and actively want to change, you're not going to get anywhere. so yeah....kaiser is not going to change unless HE starts doing the changing.
"i hold you through the toughest parts / when you feel like it's the end / 'cause life is still worth living"
i think this lyric sort of explores kaiser's dynamic with ness. on one front, he is the one picking ness up from his miserable past and instilling a sense of hope into him (intentionally or not.) but on another front, this could also be a problem. kaiser is almost forcefully optimistic in the way that he believes anything is possible. it has to be possible because there can be no other way. but the thing is.....you have to know your limits sometimes. blind optimism is, ironically, similar to cornering yourself.
"i can break you down and pick you up / and fuck like we are friends / but don't be catching feelings"
this is definitely the type of bullshit kaiser would spew. i could picture a fwb or situationship with him where y/n just constantly receives the short end of the stick. now this may be reaching, but i also feel like this is how kaiser projects his own trauma onto others. he himself clawed his way up to the top and put himself back together every time he fell down. the problem is that he also expects you to be that resilient. he's going to treat you badly because you're supposed to be like him: someone who can overcome everything and strive towards the impossible.
the headcanon answer to his top artist would be keshi. in particular, i think kaiser would fit the vibe of "2 soon" and "drunk." long story short, you finally broke up with him, and he's still reeling from the impact.
within my fics, i envision a dialogue between kaiser and y/n from each one of their perspectives. so based on that, i'm going to assign him the following songs/artists:
"gibson girl" by ethel cain
i know i said earlier that kaiser's character is not solely about toxic manipulation, but you have to understand that all bad habits originate from somewhere. kaiser is innately self-destructive, and he brings you down along with him. this song is about that but from y/n's perspective. there's this idea of trying to find agency in a situation where you have none. i don't have the word count to explain ethel cain lore in all of its naked glory, but all i can say is that this song is a banger and deals with themes like femininity as a performance, finding power in pain, religious motifs, etc.
"glory box" by portishead
this song is y/n's last plea to kaiser before they fully give up on him and leave. i'm also a sucker for anything that involves an exploration of gender dynamics and what it means to be a woman, and this song is riddled with it.
"suffocation" by crystal castles
this is kaiser post-isagi defeat (cue that one scene where he was trying to choke himself.) similar to sae, it's all or nothing with him. he suffers from this feeling of inferiority. everyone made him out to be this great figure of impossible dreams and legends, but look at him now. he's nothing. aren't you disappointed? he had you fooled, but he also fooled himself. so yeah....kaiser is definitely the most self-deprecating out of all of the boys at blue lock.

the fanon answer is laufey, and i also agree. he's so sweet, and laufey's music just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. he would also be that one love that came creeping up on you when you least expected it. "valentine" would be the song for that. i picture a reader who's had a series of unfortunate breakups and is right on the edge of giving up entirely. but then isagi comes along, and it's just so easy to love him. as easy as breathing. and then you think maybe it wasn't so bad after all. you just never found the right one until he came into your life. furthermore, isagi is a jazz pop princess, and you can't convince me otherwise.
the headcanon answer is IU. more specifically, i would say "troll" from her lilac album. i feel like even if you and isagi broke up, it would still be like you two never broke up at all. you're both on good terms, and even though you know it's counterproductive to keep cycling back to each other, you do it anyways. and it's okay because you're both still in love.
from my own playlists, i would assign the following songs/artists:
"winter bear" by v
this is my comfort song. it feels like those big sherpa blankets you tuck yourself under when you're lying next to the heater in winter. isagi would kiss your forehead and nuzzle your nose before you two drifted off to sleep.

this one is so romantic lol. i also like the dynamic where one party is afraid to love, but the other person loves them unconditionally. that would be isagi. he'd respect your decision and wait for you as long as you need it. but if you're ever ready to give him a chance, just know that he's going to treasure all of you.
"put your records on" by ritt momney
the inspiring thing about isagi is that he never lets anyone put him down. he takes rejection as redirection, failure as room for improvement. and in that way, i think this song encapsulates his resilience. he'd be such a good boyfriend not just romantically but in the way that he would literally pick you back up to your feet, dust you off, and make sure everything was alright.
"fairy of shampoo" by dosii
i picture isagi as someone who falls first and falls harder. he just loves you so much, and he doesn't even need a reason why. i saw somewhere that sometimes you don't love someone because they're your soulmate/twin flame/supernaturally fated other. you love them because you consciously made the decision to. isagi is like that. he loves you on purpose.

Freddy almost fell off the bed at your scream and when you entered your shared bedroom with a phone in hand, his old cellphone to be exact..He knew he was in trouble.
"WHO THE FUCK IS MANDY, HUH ?! AND WHY IS SHE F*CKING SENDING YOU TEXTS LIKE THAT ?! 'WANNA HAVE FUN TONIGHT ? WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN ? LOTS OF KISSES ?!' WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK, FREDDY ?!"
You started reading out loud some of the rather suggestive texts and Freddy sighed. Sh*t. You had found his old hook-up slut..He sighed and tried to explain.
"Listen, sweetheart.."
"DON'T YOU F*CKING SWEETHEART ME ! WHO IS SHE ?!"
There was a moment when Freddy was well...speechless. How to tell you he used to get lonely ? So, he had heard of some app that hooked you up with some local people searching for one-night flings. However, he hadn't used the app in a long time and he was starting to get fed up of being yelled at..
"If you'd just let me explain I.."
"SHE'S STILL SENDING YOU NUDES, FREDDY ! NUDES ! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPLANATIONS. I'M LEAVING !"
You were about to leave when Freddy grabbed your wrist and spun you around with a dark scowl on his face.
"LIKE HELL YOU ARE !"
You sent him a nasty glare and in a fit of rage, slapped him.
"F*CKING LET GO OF ME, FREDDY ! I'M TIRED OF YOUR BULLSH*T !"
Freddy seemed stunned for a moment before he brought his fingers to the fresh cuts on his face..He then cackled darkly before his whole demeanor changed.
"...Oh. You're so gonna regret that."
Before you could as much as let out a squeak, he grabbed you once more and pinned you to the bed. He then gently traced the side of your face with one of his very sharp blades. For a moment, you were afraid he was actually going to kill you—but he seemed to read your mind and shook his head.
"Oh no no, sweetheart..You know very well I don't do that anymore. You're the only one I see, but if you ain't f*cking sure ? Let me remind you.."
He took the phone away from you and deleted the contact without even giving it a second glance. You frowned—still not convinced—but he then kissed you passionately and straddled your lap while letting his hands wander all over your body. You tried to protest, but finally gave in when he bit your lower lip and gained access to your mouth. You moaned and Freddy smirked.
"For someone who hates my guts, you're kinda sending me mixed messages here, sweetheart..", he teased and you groaned loudly in annoyance.
"Shut up.." You pulled him closer and kissed him again.
You couldn't keep the tears from falling and Freddy pressed your foreheads together so you may look at him in the eyes.
"...Mandy is an old friend of mine. And yeah, we used to fuck. Don't act all surprised. Never said I was a virgin..Besides, my last conversation with her was well before I met you. Check my answers before bitching, yeah ?"
You huffed in annoyance and even though Freddy was infuriating, you knew he was right. And the real reason of your anger wasn't because he had lovers before you.
It was also because you were afraid of being one of them.
You hadn't told him everything..like how Mandy wasn't the only contact he had on his phone. It wasn't just one or two persons. He had had plenty of anonymous people who he never called back. You then let out a long sigh as he started kissing your neck and leaving a trail of hickeys there.
You wondered how much time it will take before you ended up another nameless contact on that phone ?

"WHO THE F*CK IS LAURIE ?!"
The name made Michael snap his head at you and the letters you held in your hands, letters Laurie had sent him but he had never been brave enough to answer..
He didn't understand why you were so upset when you thew the letters at him.
"YOU JERK ! I DID EVERYTHING FOR YOU ! I LOVE YOU AND YOU DO THIS ?! CHEATING ?! THAT'S IT ! I'M LEAVING YOU !"
The word 'leaving' triggered something in Michael and his eyes darkened as his features hardened. No one was leaving him. Not now. Not ever..You turned around to leave, not expecting Michael to stop you. He suddenly grabbed you by the back of the neck to shove your head against the door—not caring about the bruises it would leave in the morning.
"LET GO, YOU BIG OAF ! LET GO OF ME, YOU CHEATER !" You started screaming and thrashing against him, but he held you in a vice grip and whispered in your ear.
"One more word...And I'll cut off your tongue."
You bit down on your lower lip, knowing very well he wouldn't hesitate before putting his threat in execution. You remained silent for a long while, even though your heart was hammering in your chest. His body was pressed against yours and his hair tickled your cheek as his breath hit your shoulder. He was trying his best to stay calm and not hurt you, but it was hard..
"Laurie..is my sister.", he finally disclosed and you frowned.
Michael has a sister ? He did tell you he used to have family, but he never actually talked about them..Surely because they were all dead, or didn't want to talk to him. Or, because everyone he ever loved ended up killed by his own hands. Your eyes then widened at the realization of what you had said. Sh*t. He knew now. You tried to turn around to apologize, but he didn't let you.
Michael fist his hand in your hair and pulled.
"Don't..", you tried to protest—but his grip tightened. You chocked on your own words as you felt his eyes piercing holes at the back of your skull.
"You said...You love me ?"
You closed your eyes and sighed. It was the first time you had ever said it out loud. You didn't answer and Michael groaned in annoyance.
"...Why ? Why tell me this ? You know what will happen to you.."
You blinked your tears away.
"I figured since you had someone else..You didn't love me so..What is the point in hiding it anymore ?", you looked up at him with a small grieving smile. "I love you, Michael Myers."
Michael's heart stopped..He started shaking and felt Myers at the back of his neck—begging to be let out. His grip loosened and he pulled his mask off—letting it fall to the floor. You frowned in incomprehension until you saw Michael's face—his eyes staring at you intensely and his breathing hectic. He suddenly clasped his hand over the back of your neck to crash your lips together.
He wouldn't hold back anymore. The curse and Myers be damned.
He wouldn't let Myers tell him what to do anymore—he could go to Hell as far as he was concerned..

Jack laughed when you told him you suspected he was cheating on you and gestured around the both of you theatrically.
"Darling..Be serious. I'm a ghost. A very sexy one. But, a ghost nonetheless. Who do you want me to cheat on you with ? The walls ?"
Okay..It did sound silly now that you thought about it. You were the only human in the hotel. But, then you realized something.
"..Another ghost ?", you asked with a challenging raised eyebrow and your arms crossed over your chest.
Jack bit his lower lip in order not to burst out laughing again. Why would he go waste his time with a bunch of cold dead bodies when he could have you ?
"Nah. Too cold. It would be like f*cking an iceberg—except the iceberg would enjoy it. Believe me."
He raised his eyebrows up and down suggestively and you rolled your eyes. It did make sense, but it didn't explain why he had been moaning and grunting alone for an hour or so by himself in the living room...The walls were thin and you had no doubt it was Jack you had heard. When you told him, he laughed again.
You frowned and were about to shout when Jack gestured for you to follow him. You hesitated before finally indulging and then, Jack opened the door leading to the room you had heard the noises from.
A lot of different explanations had crossed your mind, but you didn't expect to be met with a giant Christmas tree.
"Well...Merry Christmas in advance I guess ?"
Your eyes watered at the realization Jack had in fact cut down a tree for you—knowing how much you loved the holiday. It made sense now. He had cut it himself and dragged it inside before hauling it up in the main living room..
"That thing is heavy. I had to pull and push all the way. I know I'm loud, but I didn't mean for you to hear..Hum...Yeah."
He sheepishly admitted and waited for your reaction—one that didn't make itself wait. You jumped in his arms and peppered his face with kisses.
"I LOVE IT ! THANK YOU SO MUCH !"
Jack was taken aback for a second before he chuckled and wrapped his arms around you.
"No problem. I was never a fan of all that mushy stuff but..HEY ! As long as it makes you happy.."
You smiled against his lips and what had started as chaste thankful kisses turned into a long and sensual makeout session.
"Not that I'm complaining but...Better get your hands off me before I start thinking of all the ways you could repay me.."
You knew he was joking, but you didn't stop and wrapped your arms around his neck.
"...And what would these 'many ways' entail, hmm ?"
Jack deadpanned for a second before his mischievous smile matched yours.
"~Oh honey..You got no idea."

Norman seemed rather distant with you and you started suspecting he was seeing someone else. So, when you noticed a phone on the counter of the hotel—you assumed it to be his. You then saw several texts from a mysterious number with lots of red hearts involved..It was no surprise when you decided to confront Norman about them.
"NORMAN ! WHO IS THAT ?! IS THAT WHAT YOU'VE BEEN HIDING FROM ME, HUH ?! WHERE YOU'VE BEEN GOING ALL THOSE NIGHTS I WOKE UP ALONE IN OUR BED ?!.."
Norman waited for your jealous ranting to be over, sitting in a corner and watching you let all your anger out. Finally, when you were finished, he sighed and stood up to approach you.
He stopped just a few inches from you and tilted his head to the side. You thought he was about to snap and prepared yourself for pain, but was surprised when he only gently stroked your cheek.
"I would never hurt you, my dear. You know that. Besides, I do not have a phone. I'm an 'old man', remember ?"
You shook your head and looked back at the phone in your hand...It was true Norman never ready liked technology. But, you had seen him use this one several times before. If it wasn't him, then who else ?
"Someone saw my phone ?"
You both looked back at the young man now looking around frantically and you looked down at the phone in your hand..
"Is..your name Norman ?", you asked and the young man's eyes settled on you before he nodded.
"Yup. Norman Skalviski. Nice to meet you."
Norman chuckled knowingly next to you before taking the phone and giving it back to its owner.
"Here, my good fellow. And please, do not misplace it again."
The young man's face flushed red in embarrassment, even more than you, before he nodded shortly and retrieved the phone.
"Thank you. I will."
He then scurried off sight and the moment he was gone, you started apologizing profusely to Norman. But, he only chuckled and shook his head.
"No need, my dear. Norman is a very common name, darling. And don't forget that I own a hotel."
He then traced your upper arm with his fingers and when they reached your face—he grabbed your chin and leaned down to whisper in your ear.
"However, think twice before accusing me of something like that, alright ? Remember who you are talking to, sweetie."
It wasn't Norman's voice anymore, he never called you sweetie..But, the way his eyes looked deep into yours and waited for your approval. You knew if you had been anyone else, your body would have ended up in a ditch somewhere.
Norman doesn't like when people judge, even more without proof. He may let it slide the first time, but he won't accept it on a daily basis.

Beetlejuice didn't understand what you were mad about until you threw a tube of lipstick at him. He blinked several times at the unknown object now in his hands and raised his eyes at your expectant face.
"Erm...Am I supposed to say thanks or..?"
You rolled your eyes before clarifying.
"This isn't mine, genius. Now, tell me. Who have you been f*cking behind my back, huh ?"
Beetlejuice leaned forward and scoffed.
"Sorry to disappoint, but I ain't f*cking no one but you..Jealousy really doesn't look good on you, babes. Careful with the wrinkles."
You gasped—clearly offended—and were about to slap him when he grabbed your wrist and clicked his tongue.
"Nuh-huh. Don't do that. I'm no saint, but I never lied to you. You're my one and only. D'ya really think I'd be hiding it if I was sleeping around, huh ?"
It made sense. Kinda. When you met him, Beetlejuice wouldn't shut up about his many amazing reviews on the dating ghost app or something..You didn't even know why you had decided to give him a chance. But, you had and now, you were regretting it.
You were about to shout again when a knock was heard at the door.
It only dawned on you who that lipstick belonged to when Lydia came in—red in the face and asked if you had seen her tube of dark lipstick. It was your time to blink several times before sighing loudly and throwing the tube of lipstick you had found at her. A smile brightened her face as she caught it and thanked you.
The moment she was out of the room, you could feel Beetlejuice's smugness before he even opened his mouth.
"....So. I'm still a lying jerk ?"
You didn't reply and Beetlejuice taunted you with a sh*t-eating grin. He then snorted when you only humphed petulantly.
"Yeah..That's what I thought."

"PENNYWISE !"
He appeared right next to you in an instant and his eyes widened significantly at your infuriated expression.
"Hum...Yes ?"
You shoved a phone you had found buried between the sofa's cushions and asked with clear suspicion in your voice.
"Who is 'sexy goose' ?"
He looked at the phone in his hand, then back at you, then back at the phone..
"...Erm. I think you got the wrong clown here. Penny is the one with a phone. Not me. Besides, I'm pretty sure I don't do 'sexy'. Heck, I don't even do sex."
You deadpanned for a few seconds before realizing he was right. Pennywise had taken forever to even ask you out and to touch him would take months of coaxing. So, him having an affair would be really unlikely.
"...Oh. Right."
Pennywise chuckled before wrapping an arm around your waist.
"Don't worry. It's cute really. Nice to see you care—or that you can be jealous."
You were gobsmacked by the sheer nerve.
"Wh—I'M NOT JEALOUS !"
He laughed when you tried to deny and shuffled your hair playfully.
"Yeah yeah..Whatever you say."

Penny could already tell that you were upset the moment you stepped in the room and didn't even look up at you before replying to you silent impending question.
"She's my dentist.."
You closed your mouth and sat down next to him.
"Oh..."
Penny looked up at you with a knowing smirk.
"...You were jealous, weren't you?", he taunted and you crossed your arms over your chest.
"No.."
It wasn't convincing and Penny chuckled.
"You humans are so funny.."

Hush didn't understand when you decided to lock yourself in the house, not until you showed him his phone. You laid its surface flat against the glass and his eyes widened a little when he saw the texts there..He was stunned for a moment before he took off his mask. Then, a small smile crept on his face.
"Come on, darling..Let me in and I'll explain everything."
Your eyes filled with tears and you shook your head.
"No..Not after this. Get the fuck out of my life."
His smile fell and he glared at you before suddenly knocking the glass with his fist, which made you take a step back in surprise.
"Don't make this harder than it has to be. Come on, sweetie. Open up."
You took a couple of steps back and finally, Hush's expression hardened as he realized you meant it. He then seethed through gritted teeth.
"Open the door. Now. Or, I swear you'll regret it.."
You closed your eyes and plugged in your earphones—drowning put his voice and Hush kept pounding on the door until he was certain you wouldn't open. He then sighed and put his mask back on.
"Fine..Have it your way."
Hush looked around for an entrance, but you knew better. You had locked all the doors and windows and even though, Hush wasn't one to quit easily. He waited until you were asleep before sneaking in through the one passage he knew you had no idea of the existence, a secret tunnel leading inside the house..
He then crept into the bedroom and laid down in front of you—watching you sleep. He waited until your eyes slowly opened before suddenly clamping his hand on your mouth—muffling any sound that could have gotten out of your mouth.
"Ssh..Keep it down. Someone might hear you, sweetie."
The moment he lowered his hand, you spat.
"Fuck you !"
You then tried to get out of the bed, but de grabbed your arm and pulled you back.
"Well..Not after that little stunt you just pulled. Really ? You thought you could get rid of me by closing a door on me ?"
He sounded amused and it unnerved you.
"You messaged her..That woman. Who is she even ?"
Hush stared wordlessly at the phone in your hand and sighed before cupping your cheeks and making you look at him.
"...I'm a killer, Y/N. And you know what happens to my victims. My games. So, believe me when I say that the b*tch is long dead."
Your brow furrowed with uncertainty, but you finally sighed and smiled weakly.
"Fine. I trust you.."
He kissed you and you let him..But, you weren't fooled. Hush was known for his mind games and his dishonesty. You had written down the mysterious number, and you would find out if Hush was telling the truth—one way or another.

Gonna start this off by saying that the translations on this particular live were hit and miss. Whoever did these, structured some sentences very awkwardly.
Anyway... he's eating healthy, working out, working on music, living diligently. Life as Jimin seems to be good. He's happy.

I talk about Mira a lot, and I’m doing so again 🤷🏻‍♀️
She was a beautiful woman, and a powerful and talented actor and writer, no doubt, but much more importantly, I feel, she was also a woman of vast and deep integrity - she fought against injustice and nationalism/racism all of her life and her principled and public stance against the war and ethnic divisions in Yugoslavia cost her dearly and yet, it was a position she never ever moved away from and believed in profoundly. It is very easy to have principles when they are not being tested, and another thing entirely to stake your very life on those principles.
Even when her stance cost her her home, her career, and her friendships, and the enormous amount of threats against her life forced her to leave her country, she never once backed down from her belief in unity and cooperation.
The anti war essay she wrote and published as she fled is still one of the most powerful pieces of writing I’ve ever read and I am going to post it here in its entirety because it is fierce and amazing:
Letter to my co-citizens
I hereby wish to thank my co-citizens who have joined so unreservedly in this small, marginal, and apparently not particularly significant campaign against me. Although marginal, it will change and mark my whole life. Which is, of course, totally irrelevant in the context of the death, destruction, devastation, and blood-chilling crimes within which our life now goes on.
This is happening, however, to the one and only life I have. It seems that I’ve been chosen for some reason to be the filthy rag everyone uses to wipe the mud off their shoes. I am far too desperate to embark on a series of public polemics in the papers. I do, however, feel that I owe myself and my city at least a few words. Like at the end of some clumsy, painful love story, when you keep wanting, wrongly, to explain something more, even though you know at the bottom of your heart that words are wasted; there is no one left to hear them. It is over.
Listening to my answering machine, to the incredible quantities of indescribably disgusting messages from my co-citizens, I longed to hear at least one message from a friend. Or not even a friend, a mere acquaintance, a colleague. But there was none. Not a single familiar voice, not a single friend. Nevertheless, I am grateful to them, to those noble patriots who kindly promise me a “massacre the Serbian way”; and to those colleagues, friends, and acquaintances who, by remaining silent, are letting me know that I cannot count on them any more.
I am grateful also to all my colleagues in the theatre with whom I played Drzic, Moliere, Turgenev, and Shaw, I am grateful to them for their silence, I am grateful to them for not even trying to understand, let alone attempting to vindicate, my statement concerning my appearance at the BITEF Festival in Belgrade, the statement in which I tried to explain that taking part in that production at that moment was for me a defense of our profession which must not and cannot put itself in the service of any political or national ideas, which must not and cannot be bound by political or national limits because it is simply against its nature, which must, even at the worst of times, establish bridges and ties. In its very essence it is a vocation which knows no boundaries.
I know that all this talk about the cosmopolitanism of art seems inappropriate at a moment like this. I know that it may seem out of place to swear to pacifism, to swear to love and to the brotherhood of all peoples while people are dying, while children are dying, while young men are returning home crippled and mangled forever.
How can I say anything which won’t sound like an ill-fitted nonsense at the moment when, for absolutely unfathomable reasons, Dubrovnik is being threatened, the city where I played my favorite role, Gloria?
But I have no other way of thinking. I cannot accept war as the only solution, I cannot force myself to hate, I cannot believe that weapons, killing, revenge, hatred, that such an accumulation of evil will ever solve anything. Each individual who personally accepts the war is in fact an accessory to the crime; must he not then take a part of the guilt for the war, a part of the responsibility?
In any case, I think, I know and I feel that it is my duty, the duty of our profession, to build bridges. To never give up on cooperation and community. Not the national community. The professional community.
The human community. And even when things are at their very worst, as they are now, we must insist to our last breath on building and sustaining bonds between people. This is how we pledge to the future.
And one day it will come. For my part, until recently I was willing to endure all manner of problems in transportation, communication, and finances to trek the 20 hours across Austria and Hungary between Zagreb and Belgrade. I was willing to use risky, even dangerous modes of travel, just to keep holding my performances in the two warring cities, to appear at precisely 7:30 on stage with my Zagreb or Belgrade colleagues and to alternate Corneille and Turgenev for the sake of professional continuity, for the sake of something that would outlive this war and this hatred which is so foreign to me. Time and time again I was willing to make my life a symbol of a pledge to the future which must be waiting for us, until that day when some ardent patriot finally does slaughter me as so many have promised to do.
I was willing and I would still be willing to undertake all and any efforts, if the hatred hadn’t suddenly overwhelmed me with its horrendous ferocity, hatred welling from the city I was born in. I am appalled by the force and magnitude of that hatred, by its perfect unanimity, by the fact that there was absolutely nobody who could see my gesture as my defense of the integrity of the profession, as my attempt to defend at least one excellent theatre performance. I had no intention of acting further in performances outside the BITEF Festival, as I stated in my letter. BITEF as an international theatre event attended by the English, Russians, French, Belgians, and even one Slovene seemed to me worth participating in, especially because any decision not to participate would have meant betraying a performance I had worked on under the most difficult circumstances during the March 9th Belgrade tanks, daily threats of a military coup, etc., etc.
It is terribly sad when one is forced to justification without having done anything wrong. There is nothing but despair, nausea, and horror.
I no longer have any decisions to make. Others have decided for me.
They have decided I must shut up, give up, vanish; they have abolished my right to do my job the way I feel it should be done, they have abolished my right to come home to my own city, they have abolished my right to return to my theatre and act in my performances. Someone decided that I should be fired from my job. Thank you, Croatian National Theatre; thank you, my colleague Dragan Milivojevic, who signed my dismissal slip. I know that lots of people are losing jobs, that I am just one of many, simply part of a surplus work force. I constantly ask myself whether I have any right, at this moment of communal horror, to make any demands of my own. One thing seems certain: I plan for quite some time (how long?) not to perform on any stage in this crumbling, mangled land. Perhaps they needn’t have hurried so in firing me. Perhaps this would have simply taken care of itself. With more decency. And dignity. Not so crudely. Of course, this is not a moment for tenderness. But won’t someone out there have to be ashamed of this? And will this someone necessarily be me, as my fellow actors try to convince me in their orthodox interviews? Can the horror of war be used as a justification for every single nasty bit of filth we commit against our fellow man? Are we allowed to remain silent in the face of injustice done to a friend or a colleague and justify our silence by the importance of the great bright national objective? I ask my friends in Zagreb, who are now silent, while at the same time they condemn Belgrade for its silence.
It is hard to write without bitterness. I would like to be able to do that, because we should “Love Our Enemy.” I wish we all could. Herein perhaps lies the solution for all of us. But I fear that we are very far from the ways of the Lord. His is the way of love. Not hatred.
To whom am I addressing this letter? Who will read it? Who will even care to read it? Everyone is so caught up by the great cause that small personal fates are not important any more. How many friends do you have to betray to keep from committing the only socially acknowledged betrayal, the betrayal of the nation? How many petty treacheries, how many pathetic little dirty tricks must one do to remain “clean in the eyes of the nation?”
I am sorry, my system of values is different. For me there have always existed, and always will exist, only human beings, individual people, and those human beings (God, how few of them there are !) will always be excepted from generalizations of any kind, regardless of events, however catastrophic. I, unfortunately, shall never be able to “hate all Serbs,” nor even understand what that really means. I shall always, perhaps until the moment the kind threats on the phone are finally carried out, hold my hand out to an anonymous person on the “other side,” a person who is as desperate and lost as I am, who is as sad, bewildered, and frightened. There are such people in this city where I write my letter, the city my love took me to, a feeling it seems almost indecent to mention these days. Nothing can provide an excuse any more, everything that does not directly serve the great objective has been trampled upon and appears despicable, and with it what love, what marriage, what friendship, what theatre performances!
I reject, I refuse to accept such a crippling of myself and my own life. I played those last performances in Belgrade for those anguished people who were not “Serbs”; but human beings, human beings like me, human beings who recoil before this monstrous Grand Guignol farce in which dead heads are flying. It is to these people, both here and there, that I am addressing my words. Perhaps someone will hear me.
The punishment meted me by my city, my only city and my theatre, my only theatre, the only theatre I felt was mine, is a punishment I feel I do not deserve. I was working in the way I have always felt I had to work, believing in people and our vocation which is supposed to bring people together, not tear them apart. I will never “give up my Belgrade friends”; as some of my colleagues have, because I do not feel that these friends have in any way brought about this catastrophe which has afflicted us, just as I will not turn my back on my Zagreb friends, not even those who have turned their backs on me. I will try in every way possible to understand their panic, their fear, their bitterness, even their hatred, but I plead for the same dose of understanding for me, that is, for a story which is different than many others, for a life which has deviated, due to the so-called destiny, from the expected and customary. Why must everything be the same, so frighteningly uniform, leveled, standardized? Haven’t we had enough of that? I know this is the time of uniforms and they are all the same, but I am no soldier and cannot be one. I haven’t got it in me to be a soldier, soldiering just isn’t my calling.
Regardless of whether we will be living in one, or five, or fifty states, let us not forget the people, each individual, regardless of which side of this Wall of ours the person happens to be on. We were born here by accident, we are this or that by accident, so there must be more than that, mustn’t there?
I am sending this letter into a void, into darkness, without an inkling of who will read it and how, or in how many different ways it will be misused or abused. Chances are it will serve as food for the eternally hungry propaganda beast. Perhaps someone with a pure heart will read it after all.
I will be grateful to that someone.

somethings to say about the Nina tribute video:
i originally planned on her video maybe being 5 minutes long
def was not my plan to have a 15 minute video. (14:50 if you wanna get technical)
wowza.
and im STILL missing the uncut version (yep there's more!)
but im honestly okay with it bc well the thing about nina is that she had SO much going on:
navigating a new school and residence, dodging false accusations from an angry girl, meeting this mysterious woman that sends her on a quest, becoming the de-facto leader of a new group and people looking to her for what to do next, sarah dying, hearing voices around the house, thinking she may be going insane, rufus zeno threatening not just her life but her friends’ lives as well, learning she’s the chosen one and assembling a magical cup all in less than five minutes, an evil spirit threatening her life and now her bf’s life and now her friends’ and grandmother’s life unless she finds some mystical mask in a set of tunnels under the house, accidentally hexing her friends leading to alfie regressing to a child and baby; and amber aging to a very scary point, choosing to put on the mask of anubis in order to save her friends and gran’s lives which meant her going into the field of rushes and just flat out die basically. all the while deal with romance drama and joy’s villain era.
so to put all of that in a five minute video would not suffice it nor do her justice
i did try and do parts for each song
power of the mind is and always will be a nina song, it was the first song i picked out for her and i just think it really fits her
like the first song is mainly her introduction, the most important bits like meeting sarah, getting the locket, her parallels to sarah and her ingenuity as well as smarts and recklessness too, just her character overall and then we slowly moved to chosen one stuff in the next song and then senkhara's hold over her as well as why she wants the mask after that
i didnt show a lot of rufus going down bc it's nina's story to tell, rufus is a whole other thing and at the end, i really tried to focus on nina specifically
that being said, it does end with fabian (and amber) missing her, the last bit of her being the hand written letter (not the locket, that's another thing entirely) i wanted to focus on something nina did rather than what she was given
i used imovie for the software, dont really have anything to say about it bc its free for me so i dont really know other video editing software *shrug*
the penultimate song (the way by zack hemsey) was almost this song called dwell on dreams and i changed it bc it was just too uplifting, like nope, we gotta go down darkness right now
i listened to like eight different songs trying to decide what fit fabina in the end, and i think last kiss by taylor swift really does summarize them in majority, if anyone else has another song please let me know
there’s seriously enough recorded content to make a senkhara video im ngl
also a victor video would be fun too but i’d have to go back and record his scenes again bc i was mainly focused on sibuna stuff
at one point nina’s video has over 54 minutes of content. yep. (thats not including the fabina scenes. in total it should come around to an hour and thirteen minutes. yep.)

i just realized while i didnt end up publishing it on July 7th, i managed to get it out there on July 17 which i think is a fun win!
my favorite part of the video is prob when vera asks victor “what is it about that girl? she makes you nervous, decidedly nervous.” i love it, i wished more characters talked about nina and what she can do, like idk rufus or some of the teachers smth like “dont underestimate them. especially nina martin.” and shit.
like for example in the s1 ending for HHA victor’s on the phone w the real bad guy or whatever, and he’s asking who’s responsible for all this shit and victor answers, “Her name… is Nienke. Nienke Martens.” or smth like that i cant remember
the next video is Alfie’s and i hope his does remain with five minutes bc the song i have for him is perfect and unlike Nina he does have one direct line of evolution from class clown to traumatized to untrustworthy sibuna to brave sibuna, proving to us and to his friends but most importantly to himself that he’s the bravest sibuna no matter what.

I waffled for weeks about this show without watching, because I don't like Krist and frankly Gawin was just not enough incentive for me to get past that. I've only ever seen him in Not Me and he played a drip of a character and in my not so humble (or quiet, really, I've talked about this before) opinion let his onscreen partner carry the entire BL aspect of his storyline. Sorry but I believed that Dan was into Yok like I believe that there really is a pot of gold at the end of that proverbial rainbow. Nice try, Lucky Charms, but I'm not buying, is what I'm saying. And while that wasn't really that huge of a deal in something like Not Me, which had a lot going on besides the romance stuff, in a show like this where it seemed most of the point was the romance, I just wasn't into putting myself through it.
Anyway, despite my best efforts I kept seeing posts about how unexpectedly good this show was so I finally bit the stupid bullet and gave it a try. I figured at the very least it could be background noise while I did something else.
But then it happened. I, too, fell in love with this drama, and now I'm sitting here getting ready to write a small love letter to it. So what the hell happened? Did I discover a new appreciation for Krist? Did Gawin's pretty pretty face finally win me over? Was I just bored?
The answers are no, yeah maybe, and ha, yes but also no, respectively.
The thing is that the show is pretty cute. It is, I won't deny it. Both Krist and Gawin are actually very good at comedy, and hey, it turns out that Gawin as Pisaeng is actually really charming. Good to know. But if that were all this show wouldn't have burrowed into my head so much and I wouldn't be sitting here waiting for Friday for reasons other than the weekend.
So, here, a list of what I'm enjoying about this show.
1. Kawi isn't a likable character. No, really. I know people do like him, but to me he just isn't. And to be honest I'm not entirely sure he's meant to be, at least not yet. Kawi is a dumb shit who let his negative perception of his life color every aspect of that life and then turned around and blamed other people for what he's mostly done to himself. Yes, I do see where some of it was beyond his control, for sure, I'm not denying that. But to me, his biggest problem is that he let his own insecurities and worries cripple him and instead of seeing that and taking accountability or trying to move forward, he insists on believing that if he can change just one aspect of his life (namely, not confessing that he drew his crush's name from a "buddy" box while in uni), that everything will work out. And then he gets his chance and guess what? Things aren't actually that simple. Kawi has a ways to go, but watching him look back on his life and try to start working on his relationships (and then, through those relationships, himself) is a joy to see. I hope for even more growth as the show continues. He's not learning in leaps and bounds either, and I like that. He does stupid things. He tries to fit in with people that are just not worth being around. He says some truly awful things to people and he blames one specifically for things he isn't even responsible for. But when it's pointed out to him that he's being an ass, he listens. He internalizes and he reacts accordingly. Kawi is the type of person that resonates with me because I see how easy it would be to be someone like that, if I let my insecurities drive me and didn't credit my own opinion enough. I think that his instincts are good - the people he seems most drawn to are decent, straightforward people who are gentle but not so soft they let others walk over them. People who are very good for someone like him, and who will encourage him to trust in himself more, not just follow what they tell him. I look forward to seeing his development as we go on. I don't think he's likeable currently, but I think that I will grow to like him, and I'm looking forward to that, too. He may not be likeable, but I find him incredibly understandable.
2. Pisaeng. I have to give a ton of credit to Gawin here, because I love this guy. This last episode especially. Gawin is giving him all the nuance and layers that I didn't see with Dan, and it almost makes me want to rewatch Not Me again to see if I just missed it somehow (I won't though, because whether or not I missed it I like Not Me but it's not something I'm really invested in watching over and over again). I love that he went on a journey of self-discovery this last episode that was mostly not about Kawi at all, and at the end of it it gave him the courage to not only confess to his crush but also to come to terms with a part of himself that scared the shit out of him (and I can't tell you how much I love that his journey was explicitly about understanding that he's definitely queer, and that's fine. It's just fine. It's good, even. Thankfully Thai BL has been slipping farther and farther away from "I'm not gay/bi, I just like you" stuff that they used to pull like clockwork but I did not expect an explicit journey of coming to terms with sexuality. What can I say - that shit always gets me and gets me good).
3. Max - Kawi does not deserve a best friend like him, but he certainly needs him. No notes, I adore him and everything he chooses to be. I would love it if he became friends with Pisaeng too but I can understand the reluctance to be a gay guru to Kawi, let alone someone he barely knows (not that Kawi realizes that's how things are going down, really - dude is so repressed it's painful). I loved his exasperation this last episode, and how he visibly had to rein himself in after going off on Pisaeng. Nothing he said was wrong, either. Not one damn thing. But I appreciate that he chose to be kind in the end. It's hard, sometimes.
4. Pear - please please please show don't make her one of those evil BL girls. Right now she's so wonderful and lovely but still very human and I just adore her and I want her to stay that way.
5. What this show is saying about being kind to people, and how the way you treat others ripples out. In this episode specifically, they literally took arguably the worst character in the show thus far and told him "Everyone deserves encouragement and a little kindness. Even you." And honestly, I kind of love it. Maybe it's the optimist in me but I do believe that most people tend towards being decent, and often when you give them a little kindness they find it in them to give it to others.
6. Weirdly enough, this is the first BL I've watched in a long time where I honestly don't care if anyone gets together (funny enough, the last one might have actually been Not Me). I know that Kawi and Pisaeng are probably going to be together in the end because that's just how this goes, but if they weren't...it wouldn't be a big deal, really. The journey here is more important than the end game, and all I really want is for them both (but Pisaeng especially) to live well and happily. And I want Max to get everything his heart desires and for Pear to date her BFF (I...am probably not going to get that loveline, but a person can dream).
I guess there's still plenty of time for this to go off the rails, but I have to say right now I'm really enjoying the ride.

hi mum, hope you’re doing well
I wrote to you in 2021 asking for advice on making friends and speaking to locals when i was starting school in a foreign country and i wanted to say thank you. I passed all of my exams last week, I even made a friend or two.
I also started working in a supermarket about four months ago. It is really hard to find a job that i could do after school here,i live in a small town, so i was very happy. I thought it was going well but i got a letter saying i’m getting fired. Nobody talked to me, there were no major complaints about my work (as far as i’m aware) so i honestly have no idea why, the store is always looking for new people.
So, i just lost my first ever job and i am stressed. I am obviously going to apply to other stores in the area but i’m still not sure how to approach this situation. Will my next employer want to know why i got fired? what do i say? Is there something i shoud have done? I guess I am just confused and worried about money now. I still live with my mother but she already has two jobs and it might not be enough for me and my brother. I know it’ll be fine, the thought of going through the whole job searching process, interviews and generally being new is just stressing me out.

You're welcome! I'm very happy to hear that.
While getting rejected in silence is indeed upsetting and money trouble will add to that, this is just a tiny bump in the road. Your next employer will probably not take the time to investigate you if it's a job in a supermarket, so they will likely not find out. Obviously, getting fired never looks good and you also don't want to be the candidate that talks crap about their former employer because it makes you look bad. HR interviews are there to make sure you are a good investment for the company and will pay attention to what you focus on when you answer a question: "They fired me actually, that bunch of assholes, can you imagine they didn't even tell me what I did???" makes you look like a ticking bomb, but "We weren't a good fit, so I took some time for myself to figure out what I wanted my next job to look like because I started applying again. I think I'm very good at (skill, explanation, real example) and I hope I can put it to good use here" is much more comfortable to hear. When you have a weakness, make it neutral or positive and move on to greener pastures immediately.
Those people could have pointed out the issues and helped you to fix them and they didn't. Don't let yourself be crushed by their decision when it reflects their lack of professionalism. You will be fine, we're all cheering for you!

7 : what is your deepest joy about writing?
i guess like just the fact that i can build entire worlds. worlds with new languages, physics, entities, everything. i can completely go off of the rails with worlds and THEN make up a cool-ass main-character lifestyle for a person in that world! i can make people with personalities. i entertain the multiverse theory and i just love thinking about my worlds being real. it's cool!! also like with my own worlds and stuff i don't tell anyone the specifics of these places outside of tumblr/discord and sometimes my worlds are mine. i can see a fucking rollercoaster and imagine it in tiny workers! i can see a bag of wilbur chocolate and smile to myself knowing that almost 100 people have read what i had to say about this bag of chocolate. it's cool as hell!!! also the same thing will apply to songs, i can listen to a song after having made a new wip and go "holy shit, this reminds me of ___!"
ALSO another joy is adding personal easter eggs. (usually; if i can remember) every 1970'th word of my fic, i'll add a word referring to ff1970 because i am soo attached to fics i hate. also my phone password is 8866273 (oops) because spell that out with letters and it's tumoasd (another fic i hate but am attached to dearly)! i am soo attached to lil easter eggs that i and only a few other people can get.
OHHH and another one! this is kinda just for fanfic (as if i write anything else) but i love connecting things to the thing i'm writing for. my absolute FAVORITE one is SO SO SO cool like i will never let myself forget how cool it is is soot house. i won't go into detail about the fic cause yeah but lvjy's song one day fits SO WELL with it. "one day i know that you will be there, one day i'll focus on the future" is one that fits with sh!wilbur, but that's not the cool one at ALL
soot house is a hill house/bly manor au and a certain lil event happens on november 16th 1852 (year was COMPLETELY random) AND AND that happens to be on a TUESDAY. in one day, there's the line "'cause all i want to do is turn back time, at least a couple tuesdays, to before i found one life turn two" WHICH WAS COMPLETELY RANDOM I DID NOT SET THAT UP IN THE SLIGHTEST, IT JUST KINDA FELL INTO PLACE! and it's so cool bc in the fic wil is immortal and the line (while i know that's def not their intended purpose of that line) "before i found one life turn two" KINDAA FITS THAT bc that was the day he went immortal" and to think wil sung that song and he's the main character of soot house and idk it's soo cool how that fell into place bc 1852 was COMPLETELY random. ANYWAYS sorry to ramble like that QASJDGFSD
24 : how much prep work do you put into your stories? what does that look like for you? do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?
hhh well that depends on the story! i mean look at tiny workers with DAYS of worldbuilding, then soot house which i've never touched an outline for but still have 10k for. it's all really random. but usually planning will all be mental. if it's a larger fic i'll make a pinterest board for it and OCCASIONALLY a playlist. but usually it's just a mental outline, bc if i ever try to write anything down i put it down and try again soo many times with a different approach,,, it's a very messy process sometimes. i do like worldbuilding, it's really fun! but i think unless someone is making me do something specific with specific questions they want me to answer i just can't do anything asdjfh

hm. i really don't know, i'd have to think about it! i'd say i'm still a pretty noob writer so i don't have a cool unique writing process. butttt if i had to say, maybe the fact that it's so open? that's not necessarily weird in any way but sometimes i just feel like opening a doc on my phone and writing lil words on the way home or when no one is looking. other days i will get all cozied up and make my environment all aesthetic and shit lol (but when i do that i usually cave and just watch netflix or youtube lol)

OK SO THE BACKSTORY (sorry for any mistakes) They meet when they were young and he was just starting off as an assassin. The mission went really bad resulting in him and Lem having to separate for a bit and he got injured. Feeling like he was about to pass out from all the running, he hid in a allyway close to Cherry's apartment complex and that's how she found him. She helped him back to her place (even if they were suspicious of each other) and treated his wound. It was mostly silent, a "are you okay?" and "what happened?" but his answers were short. As soon as she finished, he slowly got up, thanked her and left, saying his brother will worry about him.
The night after, Cherry heard the doorbell ring. She looked out the peephole to see the boy she helped and another person next to him. Putting the door chain on, she carefully opened the door.
🍊: Hi. Remember me? 🍒: Hi, yeah, I do. 🍊: Right um, this is my brother Lemon. 🍋: Hey, you saved my bro last night. 🍒: [She smiled and waved at him] 🍊: We got some pizza. As a thank you.
After some thinking, she let them in. They sat in the living room, eating pizza and chatting. Lem tells her that they're assassins and she says she figured as much. Turns out Cherry's mother is actually a handler (like Maria) and knows a lot about the assassin job. Her mother even prepared her for situations, so she had a gun on her in case they tried something. After that night, they became inseparable and started working together. Eventually, Tan and Cherry caught feelings for each other and there was tension for a good couple of months until Lem got tired and set them up. Even though they go together on missions, she mostly works in the shadows. While these two are fighting a yakuza gang, she's sneaking away, gathering intel and stealing briefcases. Other times she has to act like a lost woman looking for help, or be scared and plead with a gang leader, earn his trust enough to invite her for a drink and make him spill some useful information.
(Sorry the convo between them is awkward, I think it fits since they just met)

In one way, Roman didn't really know the stranger very well that he'd met in the garden four months ago (and six days, but who's counting), but in another way he'd never gotten to know and feel comfortable around someone this quickly before. And other than his brother, he wasn't this close to anyone at all.
Their few hour talks they had pretty much every day were the highlights of his week and had been so the moment he had said that Roman could come back and visit him again so long as G never knew.
Chrysanthemum was nothing short of amazing, not only was he interesting and pretty, but he was a superb conversationalist and wonderful at just listening to what Roman had to say. And while there was a lot he didn't know, not having much of a formal education, he was intelligent, and somehow, despite all he'd been through, was kind.
Yesterday he'd had an unavoidable meeting pop up and wouldn't be able to make it to his usual visit with Chrysanthemum. So he'd had to make do with just sending him a letter. It was nice to be able to write to him, but it just wasn't the same as their visits.
He couldn't help it, he missed Chrysanthemum.
He just needed to finish up this contract for one of the farmers in his principality, and then he could go see Chrysanthemum again.

Roman's visit was going well, Chrysanthemum and Roman had discussed music, and were now just asking each other questions.
And Chrysanthemum seemed to have a question, so Roman asked, "What's your question?"
"Oh, well, I was just wondering, do you have anyone other than your brother?"
"Ah, well, not really. Er, not since our parents passed away. They might not have been my biological parents, but that never mattered to any of us."
"Oh, I'm sorry! I shouldn't've— I just shouldn't have asked."
"No! Ask me whatever you like, if it was a big deal I can just say I don't want to answer."
"Well, okay then."
"Oh, I forgot that I do have a few more people that I talk to as I have nice experiences with the man who runs my village's cafe, and the person who runs the library is always quite pleasant and super helpful with research, so it's not like I don't talk to anyone but you and my brother, at least when I can find him; he's certainly a free travelling spirit. But anyway, I chat with people in my village, —or maybe it's a town at this point, I'm not sure, I should see if the librarian knows— I have business meetings with all sorts of people, I goof off with Duke when I can find him and his partner, oh yes, that's another person I visit. His partner doesn't really trust me, I think, but he's still very interesting. And then of course I have my lovely visits with you." Roman felt himself smile a bit. "Highlight of my day really."
Chrysanthemum looked away shyly. "Psh, yeah, okay, Princey."
"No," Roman gently insisted, "Really."
"Oh, well. You're definitely the highlight of my day too." Chrysanthemum paused for a moment as he bit his bottom lip in thought. "So��� The Prince, where's your kingdom— er, princedom?"
Roman laughed. "Princedom does work, but I've also heard it called a principality. And it's not far from here, I walk here every afternoon, sun-direction for about maybe thirty minutes? There and abouts anyway."
"How many people are in your um, principality?"
"I have forty-seven subjects!"
"Oh, wow, that's… less than I thought but way more reasonable. How can you be a prince with that small of a principality?"
"Well, size doesn't really matter in this case. Forty-seven people are plenty, and besides, I fit all the requirements.
"I have a territory that's all mine in good standing. I have permanent residences. We even have laws and decrees!
"Oh! And I can't forget about my throne in my village office. Also, to make sure my subjects are heard, I have a secretary to write down any notes, meetings people may want to set up with me, or complaints or concerns people may have."
"Oh, that's nice, it sounds like a cozy little place."
Roman beamed at the praise. "It is! Oh, I almost forgot, and lastly… um, right! I'm a Prince, that's the last one. 
"I never really met my parents, but I learned that they had been royal and that's that. I offered to make my brother a duke and then he could have a duchy, but he likes to travel and didn't want the responsibility, so he's just Duke. I'm not really sure if he actually is considering one though if he doesn't have a dukedom, but he is to me, and besides, it's funny and I gotta call him something.
"And really it seems a shame if I'm a Prince and my brother doesn't even get any sort of title."
"Yeah!" Chrysanthemum agreed. "He should get one too!"
"Oh my goodness, here I am blathering on about the people in my village and how I'm a Prince, and about Duke, and I haven't even given you the courtesy of asking you your question back. How rude of me!"
"No, no, you're fine! I didn't expect you to… it's not like my answer is very interesting anyway. I really don't have anyone other than you. Not anymore."
"...Not anymore?" Roman echoed. Wondering what had happened to make Chrysanthemum's face twist in sadness like that, who had he lost?
"Well, for a brief while I thought maybe G would be nice, he wasn't though." He let out a miserable laugh. "I was a fool though. But I did… I guess I had a friend. At least for a few years."
"If you don't mind me asking… what happened?"
"So… G had this worker, and he was really nice to my face, we had a lot of fun together. He made the work more fun, and said I did too. I'm still not quite sure what happened, but all I know was by the time his work contract with G was up, we weren't on speaking terms anymore. He just left, without saying goodbye. I didn't even know it was up until he was gone and G told me… told me I needed to pick up the slack and needed to do all the chores."
"That's terrible," Roman mummered, not sure what to say. What could he even say to such a clearly great loss like that?
"It's… well, it's not okay, but… oh, I don't know. It just sucks. I don't—" Chrysanthemum cut himself off, seeming to try and hold back a sob. "I don't know what I did, or didn't do. I don't know what I did wrong!"
"Whoah, hey." Roman slipped his hand in through the fence and wrapped it around Chrysanthemum's. "I don't know what happened or pretend to know the situation or this other person, but I don't think you should be blaming yourself. I don't know what kind of person your friend was, or the circumstance, but if something happened, he may just not have gotten a chance to say goodbye, or maybe it just hurt too much."
"Or h— he was an asshole who didn't want to see me."
"Hmm, possibly. Did you ever get the feeling that he didn't like you, or resented you?"
"I... I don't know, like, maybe? Towards the end? I just— wish I knew why! If I could just ask him. If I could just tell him how sorry I am."
They didn't say much after that, Roman kept Chrysanthemum company as long as he could, and he seemed to be a bit better by the time he had to go make G's supper.
Roman wished he could stop Chrysanthemum's pain, could help him find his friend, could make G stop overworking him… well, maybe that was Roman's plan then. Just, in last to first order.
Chrysanthemum deserved better. He should have never been stuck with G. If only he'd met Roman instead—
Well, there was no time for 'if only's. Roman needed to fix Chrysanthemum's situation, nothing about it.
He was going to get him out of there if it cost him everything.

Roman wasn't the nervous type. Sure, he could be concerned about something, or someone, or hopeful that some super important thing would go well, but he wasn't really nervous, anxious, or tended to worry.
But as he waited around for his meeting, this ultra important meeting, he couldn't help but feel jittery. 
He needed this to go well, Chrysanthemum was counting on him, and desperately needed this to go well… even if he had no idea Roman was doing this in the first place.
If it didn't go well it could jeopardize everything and Roman would need an amazing back up plan, but his short breathing pattern was making it increasingly hard to think.
But if it went well then Chrysanthemum would be free, and that was way more than worth all the trouble he was going through, nerves included.
There was a curt knock at the door of Roman's town office —there was no way he would have this stranger, especially knowing how untrustworthy he was, in his home— and he quickly broke his pacing pattern to open the door.
"Welcome, I'm sure you're wondering what this meeting is pertaining to."
"Yes, I don't have long."
"Of course, would you care to sit down?"
G smiled, but Roman could see his displeasure. "No, I plan on… taking up as little time of yours as is realistically possible."
"Alright, I will get to the point then. I think the way you treat the human in your care is inhuman and neglectful, and I would like to take over. I have a contract written up her—"
"No, that won't be necessary. I haven't broken any part of our agreement and do not wish to part with him. His work is valuable to me."
"Oh, well, I'm sure it… but—"
"I won't be budging on this, and to continue this discussion would just be a waste of time for all involved. Goodbye."
"No, wait! I'm not giving up either. What do you want in return?"
"There will be no deal, and I won't ever trade him for anything, let alone anything you have." G shut the door behind himself with an audible click.
Roman just stood there. What had happened? How had it instantly tanked like that? What was he to do now? What would Chrysanthemum do?
He needed to think of a backup plan, and fast.
Who knew what horrible mistreatment G would berate Chrysanthemum with. Especially about how Roman even knew him to begin with.
Shit, he'd been so sure he could convince G, but instead of that, he'd just made everything so so very much worse. 
But whatever his plan will be, whatever his next moves are, he knew that he wouldn't let Chrysanthemum suffer there for another week.

“Yo  a ti, Cas” Or how mexican dubbing gripped us tight and raised us from Despair.
Ok. So I promised a big meta about the dubbing thing and so while I don’t have all the answers YET, here’s a bit of perspective on the differences between Despair and The Truth.
  First, a little background. I am a former professional dubbing translator. While I worked on anime series from Japanese to Spanish, rather than in live action ones from English to Spanish, the process is not that different. Also, I worked in Mexico, where Supernatural is dubbed, so that’s why I can make the assumptions I make. Finally, my specialization in college was translation from English to Spanish, so I guess I know what the hell I’m talking about.
  So let’s start on HOW you translate something for a dub. Back in the day, you got a ton of VHS tapes with the episodes on them with time codes, and, if you were lucky, a shooting script. This is to say, it was not a transcript of the actual words said in the episode, but the script BEFORE the actors, directors, and everyone else had a hand on what was said and changed. And thus, anything adlibbed? Is not going to be in that script which, at least for the anime side of things? Was a nightmare as the script was usually “And here X actor can say whatever they want” and I had to go and listen to the scene ten thousand times. Now a days, you get either a video file or a streaming link, and sometimes, the shooting script. If you get a script, btw, you can also not get a script in the original language. I know that the person who had to translate Sprited Away to Spanish was working off a German script, not the Japanese one. So yeah, some things can be lost in translation there.
  THEN you get to translate. BUT you can’t just translate word by word. You have to adapt it so that it will sound like something a person will say, and sometimes, literally is not the way to do it. And in particular, Mexican dubbing has a reputation to uphold as the “Neutral” dub that is send to most Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, so we can’t use certain words (I don’t have the list at hand, but I remember that I couldn’t use “Llanta” for Tire, and so I had to use “Neumatico”. And no “sweaters” or “hotcakes” or stuff like that), AND we have to match the lips of the original video. Which is like, the worst nightmare ever because of what we call “labiales”, that is to say, the letters where lips close.
  I can’t tell you how much we all loved when a character gave a long winded speech with their back to the camera due to those damned closed lip letters.
  All this is to say that sometimes, the line could be “We are all in this together for good or bad”, and the translation become something more like “Estamos en esto, por las buenas o las malas” (We’re on this, the good way or the bad way) or “Estamos juntos en las buenas y en las malas” (We’re together in the good and the bad), depending on the translator, dub director, and voice actor.
  Depending on the client, that is, the original owner of the series, sometimes they will review the translation once it’s all dubbed and edited. I know that in the Avengers movie, a Disney rep was present on the cabin and forbade any changes from the script, which resulted on a couple of awkward lines in the end result. I don’t know if that’s the case for Supernatural, but I honestly doubt it. Still, translators can’t make huge changes for the dialogue. One couldn’t just ADD a relationship that wasn’t there, no matter what.
  (As an aside, due to the very conservative mindset of some tv stations, it’s more common that gay relationships become more ambiguous, by changing “I love you” to “Te quiero” which can be more of a filial love than a romantic one. And well, that one case in Sailor Moon where a gay character was changed into a woman because the dub director honestly thought the character was a woman. But that was in the nineties)
  Now, let’s go to how Castiel’s speech was translated.
  The original, according to Superwiki, went like this:
  Castiel:  You're the most caring man on Earth. You are the most selfless, loving human being I will ever know. You know, ever since we met, ever since I pulled you out of Hell, knowing you has changed me. Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you. I cared about Sam. I cared about Jack. I cared about the whole world because of you. You changed me, Dean.
Dean: Why does this sound like a goodbye? Castiel: Because it is. I love you. Dean: Don't do this, Cas. Cas.
  And the translation, as it was aired, went like this (And people, you have no idea the war flashbacks transcribing this gave me, so I hope you appreciate it):
  Castiel: Eres el hombre mas amoroso sobre la Tierra. Un hombre sin egoismo; el hombre mas generoso que haya visto, y que jamas vere. Sabes que desde que nos conocimos y desde que te saque del infierno, el conocerte me ha cambiado. Porque a ti te importa. Y a mi me importa. Me importas tu. Y me importa Sam, me importa Jack, me importa todo el mundo. Y fue por ti. Tu me cambiaste, Dean.
  Dean: Porque suena esto a despedida?
  Castiel: Porque asi fue. Te amo.
  Dean: Yo a ti, Cas. (The empty appears and Billie opens the door) Cas…
  Castiel: Adios Dean
  Dean: No!
  Ok. So… At first glance, they’re pretty much the same until we get to the I love you. BUT let’s dissect it a little bit.
  Cas begins with a “Eres el hombre mas amoroso sobre la Tierra” which is not how I would’ve translated “The most caring man on Earth” since “caring” is more like “Cariñoso” rather than “amoroso” which would be “loving”, and yes, there’s a difference. Plus, “el hombre mas amoroso” sounds a bit clunky, so Personally, I’d have gone with “Eres el hombre mas cariñoso en la Tierra”, that would’ve given us more time for the rest of the speech, but I wonder if the translator choice for Amoroso instead was more due to the fact that “amor” (love) is more clearly romantic than “care” (cariño, in a sense, more on this later) and so it foreshadows the end.
  Again, with the literal clunkyness we have “Un hombre sin egoismo” (A man without egoism) which sounds weird no matter what language you speak, and it should’ve been “Un hombre dadivoso” (A giving man) or “un hombre desinteresado” (a selfless man) although the second could be mis-construed as “a man without interests” so “dadivoso” would’ve better. But the more puzzling is that the Spanish separates the selfless man from the next, which is REALLY confusing as the English is “the most loving man”, which would be “el hombre mas amoroso” making it quite redundant, so the Spanish changes it to “the most generous man”, “el hombre mas generoso”. To add to this, Cas continues with “that I have seen and I will ever see” instead of “That I know”, because it’s far more poetic. And loving.
  So yeah, Mexican Cas is basically saying that Dean Winchester is made of love and puppies.
  Ahem.
  The next part “You know, ever since I pulled you out of hell, you’ve changed me” is more or less word for word, and the only thing that changes is that the English sounds more like a question and the Spanish one is an affirmation. YOU KNOW that ever since I pulled you out of hell, you changed me.” Little verb tense play, that doesn't change much except Cas’s resolution to say what he has to say.
  And then we get to the part that made me squeal out loud. Because we go from
  “Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you. I cared about Sam. I cared about Jack. I cared about the whole world because of you”
  To
  “Porque a ti te importa. Y a mi me importa. Me importas tu. Y me importa Sam, me importa Jack, me importa todo el mundo.” Which at first glance is the same, but NOPE.
  First change: The original is in past tense “I cared”. Spanish version is in present tense: “I care”.
Which is a little non important thing except when you remember that simple present means “immutable absolute truth that won’t change with time”
  Second, the choice of word for care.
  I mentioned before that Care can be Cariño, as in filial, non romantic love (Or romantic love pet name, as it can also be Darling. It’s one of THOSE words). Other translations for care include “cuidado” (as in attention, concern, keeping, and worry), and of course “interesarse” (Which also can be care), “preocuparse” (care, bother, trouble, mind, fuss), and yes, “importar” but “importar” ONLY translates to English as a verb as “import”, “matter” “amount to” and notice how none of those words include “love”.
  Mexican Cas is not saying “you love the world, and so I do”. Mexican Cas is saying “The world matters to you, and thus it matters to me, but my feelings for the World (and Sam, and Jack) are not in the same league as my feelings for you.”
  And then Dean asks “Why does this sound like a Goodbye”, just like in English, in present tense…
  And Mexican Cas replies in PAST tense. “Porque asi fue”. And THIS is important because it means that everything he said before WAS the goodbye, and not what comes next. All the rest? Is in the past. “Because it was”. Not “Because it IS”. And the next part? Is their future.
  I love you.
  Te amo.
  Simple present. No ambiguity like “te quiero”. Spanish Te amo is for romantic love. Not brotherly, not family, not bro-mantic. ROMANTIC.
  It’s like “I’m IN love with you” (Although that’d be “Estoy enamorado de ti” and I doubt that would’ve fit in the time Misha spoke)
  And of course, the answer. “Yo a ti, Cas”. Not “And I, you” as I’ve seen it before (And I also thought it was, until transcribing the scene) but a simple “I, you, Cas.” Which ok, pretty cave-speak, but the meaning is pretty clear. Dean Winchester loves his gay angel.
  It is also telling that the empty doesn’t appear until AFTER Dean confessed, so no, Mexican Cas is not “happy with the saying”, he had to get to the “happy with the having”.
  And when Billy appears, it does seem as if he wants to say something more, but Cas is a love-sick selfsacrificing dumbass and so we all get our hearts broken.
I did get in contact with Dean Winchester’s mexican voice actor, and am waiting for answers to a small interview I did with him which includes the question “did that And I you, Cas” was in the script, and am trying to contact Castiel’s mexican voice actor. So I will be updating you on that. But I hope this clears up some of the questions about how Mexican dubbing made Destiel Canon :D

Smut Alphabet - Lucifer
All the letters for Luci have been answered now, so here's a post compiling them all together!
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
When he’s the one in charge, Luci acts like the king of aftercare. As much as he loves seeing his partner fall apart, he always makes sure to put them back together in the end. His go to thing is running a hot bath for his partner, letting him clean them up while also giving him a reason to hold them close and relax for once. After the bath, he’s pretty much at their beck and call, willing to run out and get them anything they need until they're ready to go to bed. It’s one of the only times when Luci won’t put up a fight about going to bed at a decent hour, instead opting to snuggle under the covers and pulling his partner close to his chest.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
For a long while, Lucifer’s favorite parts of him were his wings, but now they carry too many memories for him to view them with the same light. Now, his favorite body part would be his hands. He has long fingers and a firm grip, perfect for grabbing his partner’s wrists with one hand and pinning them down.
When it comes to his partner, Lucifer’s favorite body part of theirs is their neck. It’s such a vulnerable part of their body and it’s his favorite place to leave marks. It’s a trust thing for him, as well as something that makes him feel powerful. Your tightening the ropes on the sail when you hear from behind you, 
“Mind if we come aboard?”
Thinking it was more tourists, you yell back “I don't take passengers” without looking.
You turn to shoo them away only to be shocked at what you found. Sersi Ikaris and Sprite standing on the back of your sailing boat. Sprite runs up to hug you. You squeeze her in an embrace and look up at the other two
“What are you all doing here” then you noticed the man standing on the dock with a video camera “and who is that?” 
Sersi is the first to answer “Well he’s with Ki-”
She is interrupted by a call of your name behind her. A new figure appears that you didn't noticed before, one you remember very well– Kingo. 
You are frozen where you stand and Sersi and Ikaris step aside to allow him through to what they are sure will be a heartwarming reunion. 
“You-” you start but stop, trying to find the right words.
What Kingo is expecting is you’re here, you came back for me or even you look so handsome Kingo but what he’s not expecting is for you to grab the closest heavy object and throw it at his head. 
“You son of a bitch!” you yell as Kingo ducks to dodge the steel wrench you throw. You pick up another item and the other eternals move out of your way to not be hit in the cross fire.
“No letter, no phone call, no email, no text message!” your throws are getting more accurate now as you take a few steps toward the man cowering in the back of the boat you have called home for almost 50 years. “And now you show up with open arms and expect all to be forgiven?”  After four throws your pile is gone and you are in front of the man you thought you once loved. Your chest is heaving as you take deep breaths, trying to calm yourself. “What do you have to say for yourself?” 
Kingo looks up from his kneeling position at you and then over his shoulder “Karun you can stop recording now” 
“Yes sir” the man behind the camera – Karun– says. 
Behind you the other three eternals laugh quietly.

You were a gracious host, asking everyone if they wanted anything to drink and you led them below deck. You offer Sersi and Sprite seats in the C shaped booth in front of a small table. Ikaris is leaning next to Sersi while Kingo looks around the place that you call home. 
As Sersi, Ikaris and Sprite tell you what’s happened, Kingo keeps looking at you.
He can’t help but stare. Have you really changed so much in the 500 years since he saw you? Your beauty has not changed but it seems that everything else has. The women that used to fear the deviants, used to have so much child-like wonder when using even her own powers and who Druig once called the most naive eternal– this is who she became? He liked to think that even though the eternals were immortal, they didn’t change much. The tension between Sersi and Ikaris was still there, Druig was still probably a dick. How have you changed so much?
“Why are the deviants back? Why after all this time?” you ask from your place leaning against the small sink once Sersi finishes her explanation. 
“That’s what we need to figure out.” Ikaris answers. You stand up straight as if you were ready to leave in that moment, 
“You were right to start gathering everyone together.” you walk around, gathering your things. “I'll contact Druig and let him know that we are coming,” you chuckle a little, “We all know how he hates visitors.” You miss the looks of confusion on your friends faces and start rambling about what toiletries you should bring. Sprite interrupts you,
“Wait, you know where Druig is?” Now its your turn to give them a confused look,
“Yeah he’s in the Amazon, I lived with him for a few years until I moved out here.” You didn’t miss the way Sersi glanced at Kingo at this reveal, “But, we should find Thena and Gilgamesh first.”

Kingo looks out to the Tyrrhenian Sea. He had to give you credit, living on a sailing boat in Sicily was a good idea. Maybe not the safest place but definitely one of the most beautiful. 
Sprite calls his name, telling him to hurry up and he turns to follow his friends when he sees you talking to a man. The two of you are standing on one of the docks farther down in front of what Kingo assumes is the man's sailing boat. You’re smiling and speaking Italian, most likely asking the man to keep an eye on your property until you can return. The man smiles and says something that makes you laugh and he can’t help but feel jealous. He knows he has no right to, he lost any chance he had with you long ago. 
Without Kingo realizing, your conversation with the man ends and you walk towards him. The dock creaks with age underneath your steps. You look at him expectantly,
“Ready to go?” you ask. He takes a deep breath starts,
“Look I just want to-”
“Don’t,” you put up a hand stopping him, “I don't want an apology. I wanted you here, with me or in India or something”  you shake your head willing the tears away. “I waited so long for some sign that you even still thought about me, but you did nothing.”
You start to walk away but stop and look at him, really look at him for the first time since he arrived, “I stopped missing you a long time ago.” and with that you turned to follow the rest of your fellow eternals.

Only part of you was surprised to see Ajak waiting for you on the dock in front of your boat. You called her name once you got closer. Moving your groceries to one arm you hugged her and welcomed her below deck for something to eat. 
You and Ajak are laughing while she’s enlightening you on the whereabouts and happenings of the other eternals, but you notice she is forgetting one. 
“So how is he?” You ask. Ajak doesn’t say anything. You turn and smile at her, “Oh come on Ajak one of us had to mention him, it was getting awkward.” she still says nothing but her expression changes slightly, something close to pity in her eyes. “Its been a long time. He’s made his choices and I’ve made mine. I’m fine, really Ajak.” She lets out a short breath,
“He’s a movie star in India.” You have to laugh a little at that, Kingo always did have a flair for the dramatic. You turn away from your small sink and place a plate of fruit in front of Ajak “I’m sure he’s doing very well. I’m happy for him.”
Ajak quickly changes the subject to other things
Once food is eaten and glasses are empty, Ajak hugs you goodbye and wishes you well. When you reach for Ajak’s discarded plate you notice a gift wrapped parcel on the bench where she had been sitting. You’re about to run up to the deck to try to catch Ajak before she gets too far when you notice that on the gift tag your name is written in black marker. It’s a gift from Ajak.
You’re confused, Eternals don’t have birthdays nor is it any major holiday. You sit down and begin tearing the polka dot paper off. You almost drop it when you realize what it is. 
It’s a vhs tape of a movie. Kingo’s face takes up almost half the cover. 
You hold it in your hands for a long time, smoothing your fingers over it, trying to decide if you should toss it into the ocean and pretend you never saw it. You turn to your small tv and your hands shake as you insert the tape. As the directors credits begin to roll, you bite your nails and consider taking the tape out, knowing nothing good can come of this --but then he appears. 
Looking just as handsome as the day he left you is Kingo. You drop to your knees in front of the tv and tears blur your vision. Your fingers run over the tv screen where he stands talking to another man in Hindi. You let out a sob that you didn’t realize you were holding in. 
You spend the rest of that night in front of the tv, rewinding the tape over and over again, mourning the love you once had.
