Hola, Anon! The Prisoner MK AU doesn’t have a full fanfiction written for it or anything, it is mostly just a collection of asks here on my Tumblr. OVERVIEW

Dbhc, or the Detroit Become Hermitcraft AU, is an au that started as a joke and very quickly stopped being a joke LKFJGDG It’s called Detroit Become Hermitcraft, but not really because it has anything to do with the base game DBH– really, I only yoinked the android mechanics and inserted them into the minecraft-based world of hermitcraft. It’s an au that starts in Hermitcraft Season 8 (aka, many of the first androids were built for the beginning of s8 in this au), meaning that the seasons prior in this au do not technically have those hermits as part of their history. The Life Series are canon to this au, but like earlier hermitcraft seasons, 3rd Life is missing all of the android hermits due to it having taken place prior to HC Season 8.

Updated note added late 6/28/24 after a continuous thread of harassing comments from one user that now has been blocked. No this is not 'AI' made or traced like that person repeatedly said it was. I did not steal someone else's art like they accused me of with no back up other than ripping me apart with more mean comments about what looks so bad about this. They also said my other art posts are 'AI,' and that I have no drawing skill or understanding of how clothes fold.

The AI accusation is a very mean thing to say and it's happening to so many people on here and in the actual profession art world. I do agree that I am not great at art or writing but that doesn't mean I am using AI and claiming it's mine. It's very sad that people feel the need to attack art in this way when it's clearly not even good like mine.

This picture/animation was done with me doing a very bad, very fast sketch, and then hardly correcting my lines before I quickly color filled the drawing that I MADE based off the fact that I have drawn Five in a suit more times than I can count and I have basic drawing skills, not great skills but basic. The reason the hard lines are both gray and black in some spots is because I went in after to correct stuff like gaps that needed to be filled for color filling and I did that in a different layer with black rather than the gray I used the first time. It's an error but one I was aware of but didn't care about because this was supposed to be fast and messy.

So yeah... this is NOT TRACED, and from what it was supposedly traced or 'stollen' from, I have no idea what this user thought that was because they never backed that up with some image that they seem so sure I used. This was based on Five with one of my original characters, so that image they claim I stole didn't exist until I made it.

I'm just trying to have fun with my friends on here while learning to draw better digitally. I am not an artist, and I definitely don't get paid or try to make people support me.

To those like the user who did this, please just chill with the mean comments and be kind to art makers on here and writers and all content posters. If you don't like something ignore it or keep your negativity inside instead of spreading hateful intentions and saying things that are not true about people and their work or their ideas.

Sorry to go off about that on here when it was just supposed to be silly and fun, but this stuff isn't okay and needs to be shut down. I am not always going to post 'proof' pictures of my works in process. I have done that before, but it's not what this is about for me, so I don't even think to do it normally. I have other art posts on AO3 with hand drawn stuff so I figure I don't need to prove I can draw. If someone wants proof, it isn't hard to find it through my posts.

but first a description of the book!

book is: about a not nessisarily romantic but definitely bizzarely close feel free to read it however you want im not making anyone kiss project whatever you want onto them, story of a bunny girl superhero with a murder problem , and her wholesome supervillain bestie who wants nothing more than to save her, with fun themes such as found family , memory loss, and of course, miserable children, also the supervillain is a theater kid with a heart of gold and a cup of tea <3

a mix of silly and serious, I put a lot of my heart into it! And it would have been done sooner, but well i kind of got kidnapped so that kind of slowed down most of my writing and other projects for a bit there, it was only for an afternoon, no one got hurt, but it was kind of weird. it was a sort of well intentioned kidnapping though and the lady who did it is getting professional help now which is great, so im just happy she and everyone else is okay :)

I made this book wanting to make a fun world and characters and setting and stuff anyone could enjoy and find interesting, and I think the magic system in place in this lil superhero book (based somewhat on magical girl anime-) will be a fun setting for fanfics and fanart and stuff, and im SUPER excited to see if anyone makes ocs or anything for it because that'd be super cool and I love seeing other people be creative-

Cut for insanely long vent/rant and also questioning my place in the twomp fandom ( if u wanna skip 2 that go 2 the green part)

I feel like I haven't made a big enough contribution to the twomp fandom. Like I get that I am certainly not 'celeb level' famous like an, pax or macha. And I'm not asking to be! But it seems like I used to be mentioned every once in a while in twomp posts, and now my twomp posts are being reblogged more often, but other than that nobody really interacts with me... Idk I feel like I'm being selfish, but I've been at Tumblr since April of 2023 and I don't really have a place in the twomp fandom yet,, do I just have to make more posts? When do i get to be 'that person that is known for that'..?

And how do I change that? How do I make a contribution to the fandom? How do I get noticed? I'm not looking to cause any trouble, I don't want stigma..

I'm not asking for that much honestly.. am I? But I just want to have a place in the fandom, it's not the same if i'm just mindlessly posting about twomp, given attention (likes, reblogs, replies etc.) and then ignored. Have I not made a big enough contribution to the fandom to have a place in it? Am I really that forgettable?

Any twomp posts that I've made that have gotten 'famous' are just screenshots. Is that really all of my worth in the fandom.. screenshots? Usually I'm fine with just being a lurker in fandoms, but this is the only fandom I feel like I've made a contribution to and yet.. it's not much of a contribution..is it?

I see talented people post beautiful (and certainly better) fanart and I question if my art will ever be enough to be noticed like theirs is. I don't want to bring them down or anything, no, there are tons of underrated artists here that deserve more attention because they are also trying to make a contribution like me!

And yet, I'm also questioning my place in the fandom. Labratgurlz is on break from the fandom because of twompcord (and other drama), I'm in the server but don't know what's going on but I'm too scared to find out. The recent drama about meat man's user, the mpreg, (Is wide billy considered a controversial thing in the fandom?).. I look at my "contribution" and the fandom and I think: ' is it really worth it to keep going, and keep enjoying this? I am not acknowledged so it's not like anyone will notice my disappearance..." I feel like in a month or 2 the fandom will start being toxic and it would be better if I just left. But I'm too invested now. I started an art challenge and a fanfic and by god am I going to finish them. But it also feels like the fandom is slowly poisoning itself.

I feel selfish for asking to receive attention, in a pathetic post like this, but. Please interact with me, please tell me that I've done good enough and that I've made a good enough contribution to the fandom. Don't do it out of pity if, but- actually, if anyone were to praise me, not out of pity, they would have already done it. Oh god I'm spiralling into a hole of madness.

What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care anymore? 20s, not my teens, but I used to be utterly obsessed with Jack/Kent from Check Please and now, IDEK what happened. I still love them, but I have old fic I saved and never read and can't bring myself to care anymore. IDK it makes me sad.

2. Which ship would you consider your first one? Hmm probably Betsy/Joe from the Betsy Tacy series or Anne/Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables? My first ships when I actually got into fandom were Sawyer/Kate and Sara/Grissom from CSI.

3. Your first fanfic belonged to which couple? Magnus/Alec!!! I never thought I would write fic and then I watched season 1 of Shadowhunters and banged out (lol) 7 fics and almost 30k of porn in less than 2 months in 2016. They all have an insane number of hits (like. the highest has 54,878 hits and the lowest has 15,836 hits.........) and I still get kudos on them almost every day, it's wild.

4. Do you remember the first couple you saw a fanart over? Genuinely no idea, but the first one in my fan art tag is Katniss/Peeta from 2012 <3

5. Did you ever get into ship discourse? My first instinct whenever I see someone talk about something I don't like is to mute/block, so perhaps not actively, but I'm sure I have at some point.

6. Did you used to have any no-otp or have it currently? LOL. Yes. I still fucking HATE Jack/Kate from Lost and always will. Also Dan/Blair from Gossip Girl. Lately...I'm such a multi-shipper but I gotta say Kate/Anthony from Bridgerton bc I've genuinely had to restrain myself from bitching about how much I hate them SO many times since s3 came out lol.

7. Who were the couple in the last fanfic you read? I finished a rewatch of Beyond Evil last night so I've been rereading some of my old bookmarks bc I've read almost everything that's out there 😔. Shout out to the masterpiece simple & clean by whir.

8. Currently, do you have any OTPs? So many!!! Taemin/Kai is still my #1, but also Juwon/Dongsik from Beyond Evil, PatPran from Bad Buddy (it took me several episodes to actually get into the show but once I did I cried...so much over them and how much they love each other LOL), KunTen from WayV, Louis/Lestat...I feel kinda bad that I don't have a major current f/f OTP but I'm literally checking my kpop tags multiple times a week for rule 63 fic and most of my current WIPs are rule 63 f/f so there's that. (Two KunTen including what hopefully is gonna be a long one, plus a Jigyu I started yesterday for a fest that I'm hoping I'll be able to get done - not because of the length, but because I've never written Seventeen before)

9. Is there any couple that, to this day, you are extremely mad about not getting together? So many??? I feel like I have to say Dean/Cas.......Lee/Kara never really got together so them for sure. Sawyer/Kate from Lost even though I 100% choose to believe they got together post-canon pre-flash-sideways. Oh my god I'm looking through my "forever bitter" tag and it's a lot of Cooper/Audrey from Twin Peaks as I expected, but I forgot about Mini/Franky from Skins. and ABSOLUTELY THEM. Everything about series 5 was terrible but that especially.

10. Is there any ship you used to dislike but now you think they are kind of interesting? IDK I feel like I don't usually change my mind like that. I wouldn't go as far as saying "kind of interesting" but I guess I don't hate Bree/Roger from Outlander AS much on the show as I did in the books lol.

11. Do you have any ship that, in the past, was considered normal but now you would be cancelled over? Hmm...Cesare/Lucrezia maybe? If not them almost definitely Norma/Dylan from Bates Motel LOL.

12. What was your favorite crack ship? I was gonna say I couldn't remember any that truly fit this definition, but then I remembered the Kent Parson/Claude Giroux series #dirtbags and that was great. Actually no my real answer is Syd/Richie from The Bear. Now *I* don't think it's a crackship but they have that vibe.

13. Who is the couple you read more fanfics of? Here's a side by side view of my most bookmarked ships vs the tags I have saved rn on my front page. Unfortunately you can only have 20 but I think it's a pretty good representation. (Other than the ENHA ship, where I legit don't know anything about them or frankly even what they look like, but that tag produces so much incredible unhinged porn that I read canon-blind.)

14. What most of your ships usually have in common? I feel like I have several different ~types, but: friends to lovers, I LOVE bicker-y couples, age gap relationships, especially when one of them is a mentor-ish figure, and power dynamics in general.

15. What do you absolutely hate in a ship? Nice Guy characters, whether they're a guy or a girl. The OG example is Xander (duh) and Chloe from Smallville but you also see it with characters like Sol on My Stand In...there's def more things I hate but that's one of most major ones for me.

What is this AU?

-i don’t exactly have a name for the virus yet so for now it will be referred to as the blues this is due to infected peoples skin having moldy and decayed blue spots all over and the sounds they make resemble crying/sobbing. The outbreak started in India before quickly spreading to the entire globe; this happened due to extremists bombing government facilities and major cities through bioterrorism. And society fell currently everything is in a sort of dark age medieval setting with small settlements popping up. Weapons are a precious commodity so guns are only used when necessary as bullets are finite this means main weapons are melee. Clothing looks like that of from the road by cormac mccarthy if you wanna know.

-in the first stage of infection (either from being bit/scratched/or eating an infected) the victim will experience nausea, sickness, hallucinations and occasional blue spots in vision.

-in the second stage small  moldy spots will appear on the skin (like chicken pox kinda) and victims start to uncontrollably cry from their eyes and salivate.

-third stage victims become violent and attack fellow humans with the intent to bite.

-fourth stage victims start to decay before going into a fertile area and fully decaying there.

-final stage. They become fertilizer for the surrounding area. This is dangerous because if not diluted enough people that consume bits of decayed infected will not be fully fully sick but will have a very violent and deadly sickness that 99% do not survive. This means while not infected they are bedridden unless they get better. 

Current number of planned endings, good or bad, some routes have the same ending (bad and ‘’good’’ can be subjective) and number can change depending on story choices and how expansive I get. so this is the estimated number for now.

M/C backstory: college student before the fall. Skills include melee combat (im gonna say M/C carries a sword around. Think of a knight's sword), M/C is a capable marksman carrying a rifle only for emergencies as bullets are finite. Clothing consists of warm layers (think of the road by cormac mccarthy for clothing reference) jackets, warm pants, you know the drill.

With my vacation fast approaching and the time to art about to be all there before me, going to lay out what to expect! Put a read more for those interested in the art and writing coming down the pipeline

ART NEWS FOR MACA To start, I'm going to skip the illuminarti this month. Couldn't come up with an idea I like and want to take the time to flesh out concept art for my webcomic project. HOWEVER in July, will be opening up another full-body dragon commission slot on Flight Rising, so not done with dragons for sure <3

Also finishing up the last four of the last batch is priority c: Speaking of webcomic, wanted to launch it this summer, but I dont' want to just rush out a half-assed project. Going to take the time to do this proper. I got the script and happy with it, but want to make sure the art/concepting 100% matches the vision. Also want to finish a buttload of pages before launch, make sure all assets are finalized and eyecatching, and get the modest patron set up! ( tiny tiers!) Will share a few concept arts here, but going to keep others under wraps to avoid spoilers c:

Got some Lovecraft stuff that is finally moving forward like a comic idea finally getting the time to get out there and also going to do the Lovecraft poll art at last! This has been simmering on the backburning and I can't wait to crack into it!! It will serve to be a steeping stone into the concepting of the fuller idea/story, nailing down the look of the eldric horrors!

Another goal is to clear out a ton of WIPs I've started that I want to clear out so I can clean up my art file! Some are old, some are ancient, but really want to take the time to finally get them done and post them out here.

Want to also do some fanart pieces because I like things and like to show things I like some love <3

Final goal....to redraw a thing I drew for an awful ex-friend's project as my own. It was a cover for a comic idea. I have since redone the idea in my own world, but feel I need to do something to fully reclaim the passion and feelings of the story core and this feels like the first strong step, so that personal (and super emotional!) art piece is in the works

Unfortunately ask art requests are going to be on the backburner/done when feeling a need for something quick to do, so please be patient about requests! I do get them, just going to take time to do em!

Finish In Time, This Too Shall Pass. I'm dedicating a day to editing and finishing this beast of a fanfic. No doubts about it! By end of June I swear it is going to FINALLY be wrapped up

Finish Coded Connections. This Mass Effect fanfic has actually had a huge chunk written, just need to finish writing it and wrap it up

Jujutsu Kaisen fanfic brewing: Have...actually been writing and working on this because the idea would not leave me alone, so expect one soon!

FINALLY WRITING MY SHORT HORROR STORY COLLECTION!!! I had a crazy ass horror dream last night that I recalled in perfect detail as if it wanted me to make sure it was written down and it has inspired me to pick up the project again.

This is C!/CHARACTER!!! In no way am i impersonating scott the content creator. I am simply answering questions the way i think his esmp1 character would answer.

Admittedly, i have never watched scotts esmp1 series- i mostly know about his character through clips, fanfics, fanarts, and other fans. I know im such a fake fan /sarc so if i get any lore or canon wrong please tell me and ill do my best to fix it. If i cannot, then oh well to bad so sad.

This will include my personal headcanons so if you haven't heard of whatever even or something from canon, its most likely a headcanon

I’m finally back with some Buddie art and this one is dedicated to all the magic, fireworks going off, world stopping, world changing first kisses in fanfic. I love them and Buck and Eddie deserve one. So this is my attempt to visualize that special moment. It’s also the first Buddie kiss I drew way back in …. May. A Buddie sticker design I did for my lovely and beloved friend @octoberobserver who complained there wasn’t enough Buddie merch out there.

I am personally holding her responsible for a) getting me into this mess by making me binge watch season 1 - 4 of this silly litte show and even worse b) delivering the epiphany that Eddie is in fact hot guy from Step Up 4.

2024 media thread PART AUGUST

6th August: Fear Street 1994

despite my love for the horror genre, i've honestly never watched much horror- in fact, i'd say this is probably my second horror movie, ever? and while i did very much primarily pick this because of the sapphics, holy shit, what a fun time

i'm not very well-versed in the genre, but i really liked the combination of slasher and supernatural. the set up is so interesting, and i'm very much looking forward to learning more over the next two entries. i love how the movie works both as a stand-alone, and as a set up for the rest of the trilogy

also, what a fun cast!! i really liked the dynamic at play here, and how grounded everyone was; outside of the very beginning, i never had a 'oh my god, why are you acting so DUMB' moment. also, a small moment i really loved was how, despite the town's differences, Sunnyside and Shadyside both refused to tell the cops anything. ACAB, and all that 👏

definitely looking forward to watching the other two :]

13th August: Jujutsu Kaisen 0

tfw a friend makes you go watch a movie, and you come out of it with another black haired boy to cry about

okay, for real- while i don't know everything about JJK, i do know enough to watch this, and it's definitely a really good movie. i think Gege's writing actually really shines in it, because it perfectly encapsulates a lot of what he does best- tragedy, human connection, that perfect note of horror that really makes his series special. it was a little rushed, like i think a two-parter would have been really good, but we did get enough to make everything make sense, and, like. this got me attached to Geto. i literally stopped watching s1 before he really got to show up (yes, i know about the thing, but you get what i mean). and i nearly cried at the end

it's! a really good movie!! it did make me really attached to Yuta and Maki and Inumaki (i feel like Panda is more of a gimmick character to round out the cast, than a real character? like, obviously that could change in the actual series, but he did fall a bit flat here) and it does showcase enough of the Geto/Gojo relationship to tease the fans, and all around, it's. a nice way to restart my watch into the series?

it does kind of make me want more time with the kiddos tho. can we get a spin-off. can we get to watch them train together and be babies. that would be nice

(also get Geto therapy. please. i know he's dead, but i think maybe if you give enough therapy to his corpse, that could fix some things)

21th August: WIND BREAKER

how the FUCK is this anime not more popular, how the fuck has the whump community not devoured it whole, how the FUCK is there not more fanart and fanfic, like hello? hello??? the most tumblr-catered thing to ever exist, and NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT...

literally, genuinely, this is just. it's one of the best written shounen i've ever seen. it's so well done- every character is distinct and has an unique and compelling design, and the way the plot and character arcs are weaved together, even just from what little you're getting from the anime, it's just- it's so well done

Sakura, as a protagonist, is so so interesting too. he's completely out of his comfort zone, he's basically a feral kitten forced into an affectionate household, like he has no clue what to do with himself, or anyone- but he wants, so much, to Do Good. this is a guy who has been starved for affection, for kindness, who craves is so deeply he can't even handle other people holding hands. like the whole set up is just. chef's kiss. absolutely delicious i'm eating so good

and then there's the Shishitoren arc, which the anime covers, and which broke my head open and filled me with Love Togame, like just. the whole arc. it's so well-written and perfectly paced, and the way everything is done is just. UGH. UGH!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH

and just. i could gush for days. about this anime. i could gush about the characters, about the plot, about the ANIMATION. THE FUCKING ENDING AND OPENING?? ARE SO GOOD?? and the FIGHT SCENES, UGH, they're so fucking fantastic, like just. this is genuinely one of the best series i've ever seen, and it's a crime it's not more loved. if we don't get a season 2, i am throwing hands

23th August: Fear Street 1978

pretty good! i do think it suffers a bit from being the middle child, with lots of focus on set up, but i had fun anyway. honestly, i don't have a lot to say about this one?

i liked the sibling focus, i liked the characters, i liked the background we got fed, and how it kept itself tied to what it already set up (Ruby Lane's mother! neat!), but it's- yeah, it's the middle child. not much to say

i will say i fucking died when we got the self harm reveal, because that shit was so crap. also i wish Alice and Cindy had kissed. the tension was there, okay. we could have gotten 3/3 lesbians :(

27th August: Yomawari: Midnight Shadows

usually i wouldn't put this on my list, since i didn't play it, but- i have already played it once. and i did watch Shae play all of it, so. like. it can be here. primarily because i just wanna GUSH about this game for a hot second, like. aaaaaaaaaah

i love this game. like, i ADORE this game. so much. it's so up my alley, with its japanese horror (yokai!! spirits!! SHRINES AND GODS!!!) and kids-going-through-it energy, and just. OUGH. LETTING ME EXPLORE A SPOOKY LITTLE TOWN?? YES PLEASE...

and Midnight Shadows, which is the second game in the series, and also the only one i've played, is just- it's so good. the story is genuinely so well-written and crafted, and yeah, it's not super in depth- you're basically getting a RPGmaker game, here, but. man

Yui and Haru's story hits. the twists hits. there is something so elegant in its simplicity, and i adore it so very much

also, also- Chaco is the best boy. and i love him. and i would die for him. and the fact that you get to walk around with him in the post-game is everything

(also- also- i love the art. there's something about it that just hits my brain real good, and i would absolutely buy an artbook. i would buy multiples. Nippon Ichi, please)

31th August: Fear Street 1666

if 1978 stumbled a bit due to being the middle child, 1666 fucking nailed it by being the youngest- or the finale, more accurately

it absolutely hit all the beats it needed to, and tied up everything so good- even its twist was done fantastically, and makes perfect sense. i do think this whole trilogy was really improved by being filmed at the same time, though i can't imagine it was an easy time. i especially really love the little call forwards, they're cute :]

also, honestly, the 1666 section was probably my favourite- which is mostly because i really like folk horror, and the witch bits, and just. the setting 💖 give me more of that please 💖

also really like the finale bits, and just- idk! it tied everything up really well! i'm ignoring the post-credit scene, because that was so unnecessary, but outside of that, Fear Street is just a really good trilogy. it also had sapphics, which improves everything, in my humble opinion, so like. hell yeah

Dragon Age: The Veilguard HYPE Q&A

What was the first Dragon Age game you played?

Origins. My husband encouraged me to play it, saying that he thought I would like it. And then I loved it more than he did. lol!

2. Which Dragon Age game is your favorite so far?

Inquisition. That cast of characters just sucked me in.

3. Do you usually play as a warrior, mage, or rogue? Which class are you planning to try first this time around? Which subclass?

I tend to switch it up. Origins, I played rogue because that was recommended to me. Exodus (DA2), I played warrior because I wanted Bethany in my party. And then Inquisition, I was like, well, I haven't done mage, so I'll do it. Thinking of going full circle and going rogue again in Veilguard.

4. What does your worldstate look like going into DAV?

That's a little difficult to get into since we don't know what will be important. But:

Do you typically use a preset character and name or spend hours in the character creator coming up with a custom one?

I can get overwhelmed in the character creator. I tend to start with a preset and then customize it a bit and then jump into the game. I'll make tweaks to the character overtime though as I play. I prefer coming up with a my own name though, just because I don't want my character to share the same name as other players. And I will spend hours on that.

Do you have your Rook(s) planned out to any degree? If so, would you share some details or ideas you have?

Waiting for more information, but I'm thinking elven and red head. I like the idea of a non-magic user who joined the Veil Jumpers. Just because you can't use magic, doesn't mean you can't be fascinated with it.

Which character from the previous games or other media are you most hoping will make an appearance in DAV?

FENRIS! I need, need, need Fenris!

Dorian feels like a given.

What faction are you most excited to learn more about?

Veil Jumpers!

But also, all of them, to be honest. I can't wait to learn more about each one.

Which romance, if any, do you plan to pursue first?

I was thinking Bellara because I like elves. And then I heard about Lucanis being the angst romance, and I'm a sucker for that (as long as it end happily - I'm already in hell over Solavellan). But then I heard Emmrich is a total nerd and loves learning - and like... I don't know anymore!

Which location are you most excited/hoping to explore in-game?

It was Tevinter, but now... Arlathan forest? I also really want to see Rivain and learn more about the culture there.

There's so many place we'll be visiting. I'm excited for them all!

What's one thing you'd really like to see in this next game?

Resolution to the Solas romance. I've been in hell for 10 years! Please release me from this prison!

What's one thing you're hoping we DON'T see in this next game?

Anyone dying. Please Bioware. DO NOT give me the Hawke / Warden choice again.

What's one thing you've seen confirmed so far that you're a fan of?

The theme of regret. I can't wait to dive into that.

Developing a relationship between Rook and Solas. I have no idea how that is going to work, but I am so excited.

All of it. All the lore, all the stories, all the characters. I just eat it up.

Very excited for all the companion fanart and meta that is going to come out. Also all the fanfic I'm sure I'm going to write.

Reading through Tevinter Nights now. Then going through the World of Thedas books. I WISH I had time to add the comics in there as well.

For the ask game thing, Alfred x Alear?

when I started shipping it if I did: I'm a huge fan of friends-to-lovers, and also I like the idea of Alfred getting to live a long, happy life, so I became partial to this ship pretty early on. Alfred would have been the character I had Alear marry my first run if I hadn't already decided to go for Pandreo. (I, notably, went into Engage entirely blind, and therefore did Not know about Alfred's solo ending).

I really love how Alfred and Alear's friendship starts off, with Alfred and his family/retainers being there for Alear from the get-go, but also how their supports show their relationship evolving, because like, up to this point Alfred's "friendship" with Alear was a bit one-sided due to the whole "that is a god you pray to who has been asleep since forever" changing to "aw shit, they're awake and an actual person, not just a symbol" and this means there are some bumps and hiccups at first because Alfred doesn't really know Alear or know Alear's boundaries, but Alear's pretty good at communicating "Hey, you don't need to play music in the dead of night or do all these things to be my friend, actually please don't do these things" and while Alfred is pretty self-critical at first thinking he messed up, the two are able to talk things out and iron out the misunderstandings (yay for healthy communication). So yeah, anytime I come across a relationship that wasn't 100% smooth sailing all the time, but with communication still worked in the long run is a relationship I usually enjoy a lot.

What makes me happy about them: These two feel like they embody a certain kind of chaotic, unbridled energy, and a shared joy and zest for life, plus they're both so supportive of the other.

What makes me sad about them: You know that thing that occurs late-game with Alear? That spoiler thing that happens over Ch21-22? You know how much Alfred cherishes life bc of his own poor health and how much he strives to live no matter what, and how he also wants his friends to live no matter what? Yeah sometimes I think about how Alfred must have felt through that entire event sequence, and the aftermath of it as well.

things I look for in fanfic: Re: lack of fanfic reading. I do have mad respect for fanartists who draw these two (whether as a ship or just individually) bc holy shit Engage's designs are was harder to draw than they first appear, and I have seen some of the prettiest, coolest Alear and Alfred fanarts out there.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Alear works with almost everyone, although I'm partial to Pandreo and Yunaka as partners for Alear. But I also like Alear's dynamics with a lot of the other royals and the retainer characters as well. Alear's one of the most shippable characters from the game honestly.

I don't have as many romantic ships for Alfred (although I've seen enough fanart of Alfred x Rafal to appreciate it as a rarepair), but I do like how many platonic relationships Alfred has, he really befriends like, half the army though sheer sincerity alone.

My happily ever after for them: The canon ending for Alear and Alfred is a good one, I love that Alfred gets to live a full life, even if he still doesn't live on the same time scale as Alear will live.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Alfred insists on being the big spoon, except when he's too tired then Alear becomes the big spoon.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Just, being together and doing things together, and enjoying life and their time together to the fullest. I think both would also become the sort of rulers who go out and visit their people a lot, and they do so together often, so both Alfred and Alear become very popular with the people of Firene and Lythos, and I imagine stories of their antics (that couple who's So In Love with each other, but also extremely energetic when they go out and do anything together) are passed down for a few generations in each country.

? Who’s acting entitled and butthurted when posting ship negativity into the ship tags is literally an asshole behavior in the first place? xD You have other fans of that said ship using that tag for positivity reasons such as to gush and look at fanarts/fanfics, put yourself in someone’s else shoes for once and imagine shipping the most hated ship in your fandom only to see ship hate and negativity 24/7 in all of the social websites you go, it’s absolutely tiring having to deal with that. And also while I think it’s absolutely valid to share criticism on characters and ships doesn’t mean you have to share them into the ship tags either, especially when your criticism post doesn’t have anything positive related to the RenMei ship but only filled with hostile negative criticisms, that contributes absolutely NOTHING to the Ren x Jeanne tag and honestly it’s unwanted. And there already exists 100+ posts about antis complaining RenMei, it’s been done before and therefore it’s not a unpopular opinion at this point but rather it’s been a popular opinion among antis for a DECADE. And also while I respect others for saying they can post whatever they want, it’s still a huge pet peeve of mine to see unwanted negativity in the ship tags :/ But then again, maybe it’s also a good thing to see that tags so that way I have more antis going into my block list out of existence forever :^)

And telling us fans to just suck it up and deal with it.... Yeah I won’t stand for that either. I’m tired of the countless years of RenMei antis ostracizing RenMei fans out of the SK fandom just because they ship Ren x Jeanne, RenMei antis policing other fans for shipping RenMei/shaming ANYONE who ships the pairing because of their 4 year age gap.. Not only that but whenever RenMei fans try to stand up for themselves and for the ship, suddenly we’re being called rude and entitled/spoiled fans when none of us aren’t? We’re just sick and tired of the endless ridiculous ship hate for over nearly a decade. And RenMei antis have ALWAYS gotten away with ship hate and hurting other RenMei fans in the process, no one NEVER stands up for RenMei shippers in the SK fandom and it’s absolutely infuriating and disgusting that these types of people got away with it. Kanej: All their scenes are pitch perfect in character and relationship progression - even on technical writing standpoint, it's so precise.

Kanej: Nothing? I am just super satisfied with their story overall that I find it hard to pick out a moment I am sad about.

As the case with Harry, I dont seek out much fanfics with them because their story is resolved in my head. There is no exploration I particularly need. (I do read Harry centric fanfics when I like the author!)

Snack: I think most Snack writers are cognizant of character flaws and give them the weight they deserve, so there is no particular criticism I have. But across fandom, this is something that I am not on board with - the tendency to flatten characters because you cant stomach their unpalatable flaws.

Snack: Character explorations! Trauma explorations! Abuse explorations! Give me ze meat!
