omg omg ur asks about anakins music taste I'm screaming its all so accurate and making me baddlyy want to create a playlist for him. firstly, anakin + deftones is actually making me levitate like I only recently started listening to deftones bc they remind sooo much of anakin and i love just daydreaming ab him while listening to them. secondly, ANAKIN AND THE SMITHSS, I have been waiting to talk about this omg I was literally ranting to my friend the other day how the smiths match anakin perfectly. the song i associate most with ani would probably be 'please please please let me get what I want' and honestly its even more perfect bc there was also a cover done of it by deftones. ok so onto the analysis lmao

Good times for a change See, the luck I've had - anakin has in general had a veryy shitty life (he had to leave his mom, he grew up a slave, etc) Can make a good man Turn bad - this line oml its soo anakin coded (he was destined to 'bring balance to the force' and other great things and everyone assumed him to be this great hero and 'the chosen one'. yet he was manipulated since his childhood and all his grievances were used against him in the end. what else could he do but turn into a villain)

So please, please, please Let me, let me, let me Let me get what I want This time - idk i just feel like this entire part would be about his desire for power and to maybe finally be able to be in charge of his own destiny. possibly even about saving padmé or having a normal life without hundreds of expectations and his past constantly weighing him down.

anyways I hope you could understand this and enjoy it, I just got so excited and I needed to dump out my thoughts lmao.
