MMM: (S) Divination

"Divination is my first class." The prefect said. December groaned and pouted slightly. Cater shrugged and Vil raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I'm sorry to say you'll be on your own." VIl said, turning back to his breakfast. December nodded, trying to shuffle away from Cater who was trying to steal more of their breakfast.

"I guess we'll see you later then. If you want we can study in the library together." December said. Cater nodded in agreement before December reminded him he wasn't invited, making him pout.

"If you have issues, I believe one of your Gryffindor friends is in that class." Vil said. The prefect smiled slightly and nodded. They ate while chatting a bit about different tactics for Divination and future prediction before eventually grabbing their stuff and heading out to the Divination classroom.

They opened the door and walked inside nervously, smiling as they took in the room. The stacks of books on the sides adding an interesting feel to the room as the crystal balls at each desk gleamed at them. They seemed to be one of the first students there, with the room mostly empty.

The prefect decided to sit right in the middle of the class, setting up their notes to be sure they had everything set to go. Other students started to enter shortly after. Epel grinned at them as he entered, sitting in the row in front of them as they waved at him. One of the other students, a flamboyant Ravenclaw wearing some kind of feather pinned to his deep navy sweater, sat directly next to the prefect, grinning at them .

"Bonjour! I am Rook Hunt. You are also not from Britain originally, correct?" He asked, offering his hand. The prefect nodded and introduced themself, surprised when the Ravenclaw leaned down to press a kiss to their knuckles, grinning at them as he raised his head. The prefect sputtered and blushed a bit, yanking their hand away. Anarel rolled her eyes and smacked Rook's head with a rolled up parchment, causing the blonde to laugh and try and duck.

"Hunt, leave the poor Slytherin alone!" She said, glaring at him before introducing herself as Anarel Crewel. Before the eccentric Ravenclaw could comment on her parchment-beating skills, the professor entered the classroom and introduced herself.

"I am Professor Moen, and I am happy to say I predict we will have a good year!" Said the short woman. She had fluffy white hair and glasses, and seemed at least kind of nice so far.

About halfway through the class, the students were instructed to pair up for a preliminary palm reading to check their current skill level. Glancing around nervously, the prefect was going to ask Anarel to be their partner, only to see her already paired up with another student. That only left two people they knew. Turning back around, the prefect decided to pair up with...

Today I bring a... creature my party is currently fighting! Creature is a fitting name for this monstrosity, honestly. Her name is Anarel, and she's a watcher: An undead creature in my setting. While normally they look more crystal-based, I wanted to play around with a feathery one, since there's a few of them that really, really like looking like celestials. Maybe to make up the fact they're pretty awful beings, I guess. And I mean, what's better than a somewhat body-horrorish celestial! Eyes where there shouldn't be any, an overabundance of limbs, you just can't go wrong!

"Whatever. Someone has to learn it I guess" He said, causing Rook to grin in triumph. The prefect giggled slightly and Rook winked at them, grinning. A Polícia Civil informou que a mulher de 29 anos presa suspeita de matar o filho, de 6 anos, enforcado, ligou para a corporação logo após o crime. De acordo com o delegado Dannilo Proto, ela alegou ter cometido o homicídio porque a criança não quis acordar de madrugada para limpar a casa. A vítima foi encontrada no quintal de casa, em Santa Helena de Goiás, região sudoeste do estado. "Ela acordou o filho às 4h30 da manhã para limpar a casa, e ele não quis. Ela então deu duas cintadas nele, que correu para o quintal. Em seguida, ela o executou", disse o delegado ao G1. A polícia informou que ela ainda não tem advogado. Ela foi detida na manhã de quinta-feira (14) e, conforme a polícia, disse que agiu em um 'estado de fúria'. O menino apresentava marcas de agressão e esganadura. Proto informou que a mulher confessou o crime sem demonstrar qualquer arrependimento. "Ela confessou a execução do próprio filho durante a madrugada e na parte da manhã ligou pra nós avisando. Ela é uma pessoa extremamente fria, pelo interrogatório dela, confessou toda prática criminosa", disse. O delegado disse que, logo após o crime, a mãe despiu o menino e ateou fogo às roupas dele. Em seguida, conforme o investigador, ela foi amamentar o outro filho, recém-nascido, na calçada, enquanto olhava as roupas em chamas. O bebê foi entregue ao Conselho Tutelar e, posteriormente, encaminhada a um abrigo. "A gente chegou, e ela estava sentada na calçada amamentando a criança, no momento que a gente pegou a criança, a polícia já levou ela. Nós retiramos e levamos o bebê para um abrigo até localizar o pai ou algum parente mais próximo para poder estar entregando", afirma a conselheira tutelar Anarele Faria Silva. A mulher foi autuada em flagrante pelo homicídio e encaminhada para o presídio de Santa Helena de Goiás. Outro filho morto O delegado afirmou ainda que a mulher figura em mais uma ocorrência relacionada à morte de outro filho dela, também pequeno, no ano passado. "Puxando os antecedentes criminais dela, ela teve um outro filho que, segundo ela, na época, ela dormiu em cima do filho que também era criança, e o filho veio a óbito nessa oportunidade", revela Proto.
