It's still wild to me that I've fostered "an audience" that likes my writing. This is legit everything I wanted and it's happening. And, it's wild that as my writing has grown and evolved so has the engagement to it.

I honestly appreciate and love everyone who spends time reading my writing and those who listen to my ramblings about fandom things (and everything else).

I went to SUCH a queer wedding two days ago and oh my GOD it was amazing.

It was small; probably no more than 70 of us including the event staff and the couple itself. Only 8 tables excluding the couple's head table (with just themselves).

My oldest friend, the one I discovered a lot of things about myself with, is an enby. Their now-wife is an amazing queer woman who apparently just clicks with everyone; I spent three hours in her presence a few months before the wedding, and I swear she's my new bestie.

I don't know if anyone at that wedding other than the parents and maybe a sibling was both cis and het. There was so much queerness. There was so much genderfuckery. OH MY GOD it felt like home. Like a giant pile of fluffy pillows and blankets.

Oh, and the wedding march was replaced with a lovely tinkle piano version of Sailor Moon.

They both had flower.. I hesitate to call them flower crowns, but they involved flowers and were head jewelry.

My friend wore a beautiful grey bespoke suit with lilac galaxy-print fabric they designed throughout their attire. Their new wife wore a bright pink dress with butterflies all over it. My friend had a vibrant purple curl mohawk. Their wife had bright pink waves and curls.

about 1/4 of us went off to the parking lot halfway through the reception to smoke. I didn't have anything on me, but someone shared their joint with me. It was good weed, made me feel all relaxed and happy.

God that was a good evening. I rode the high all day yesterday, and I'm still on it a little bit today.
