People in the actual omegaverse would get as bored of their stuff, as we do of ours, you know? It could be interesting to see that kind of vibe in fics. Biological demands faced with all the excitement of paying bills or doing laundry or tying your shoes.

Even if that kind of energy might not drive a plot, it could be interesting to have as a contrast to the people who do have big feelings about them - good or bad.

There's the friends who can't wait til they have a pack of their own, and the one friend who isn't against it but couldn't care less. There's the group in the office who are all about scent compatibility tests and figuring out one's best match and what sprays most highlight it, and the coworker who has no intentions on putting that much effort in. There are parents who hover and protect their offspring by scenting them multiple times a day, and others who don't see what the fuss is as long as it's done in the morning.

...also: packs with introverts who show care by giving each other space. So often, closeness is depicted through physical touch and tactile affection, but comfortable silence is meaningful too. Knowing people are near, but not having to interact until you're ready. Sitting in the same room doing different things, knowing that all it takes is a "hey, look at this" to share what you're up to. People understanding and accepting each other's differing or fluctuating needs for how and when to recharge. Seeing somebody reaching out or sharing space, beyond what's their norm, as a signal of the fact that they care.

i feel like people wouldn’t have been so shitty in regards to violet if the game was more transparent about the issues within violet and minerva’s relationship before she was taken.

like i’m pretty sure the game developers did mention how vi wasn’t really getting the treatment she should’ve been (??) in the relationship, and you do see it in certain scenes, but those scenes are mostly in the romance violet route, so people who already decided to hate her and only play the louis route didn’t get to see them.

baffling decision for season 2, episode 18 to end with lewis making a legit effort for charlotte, making a picnic of things she likes and hugging her and seeming really happy with her

only for episode 19 to trample all over that with him blowing her off after she mentions that she misses him and hasn't seen him for a while, then apparently forgetting he even has a girlfriend altogether and softly flirting with his ex while the narrative agrees that this is correct because, unlike charlotte, cleo always smiles when she first sees lewis. you know. unlike charlotte. who goes out of her way to try and make lewis happy and smiles literally every time she sees him. there's not even an episode between these!

#Episodes that make me go “The author has never talked with a woman ever” 😓😓😓#I don't like how Lucy's character is handled at all. And I feel like I can't talk about it because I'm just going to sound like a bitter–#ss/kk shipper... But I really don't like it. And when she regains freedom (author didn't bother to explain how because they don't care)–#she goes to work... As a waitress at the café beneath his workplace. So he can keep doing his Cool Superpowers Job while she literally–#must serve him every time he visits the place. It's just ?????????????????????????????????#Look‚ I don't dislike Lucy and I feel general affection towards her. It's just that they make her act like no one ever would #Just for the sake of the plot I guess #And like I knoww it's (probably just a little) more nuanced than that. Kunikida regrets Katai leaving–#the ada but is also happy for him but also worries for him. He comes to his house seemingly to check on him and starts cleaning around.#The way he loves him and cherishes their friendship and shared history is really evident and it makes for a compelling dynamic.#Perhaps I should read their short story... this is so funny to me actually bcuz this is 100% how i talk abt my characters ages. i know what YEAR they were born and i know what rheir ages are supposed to be at the start of the story but i dont actually know when it takes place?? im really bad at math. There was a moment where rainbow was supposed to be 23 and i somehow accidentally made her 17 lmfao

#theoretically it would take place in 2021 bcuz thats when i created my object ocs but the more time passes #the weirder it feels to have it take place years in the past #i considered moving up their birthdays by a few years but like. idk i like their birthdays theyre cute :3 #bubblegum is SUPPOSED TO BE 15 and she was born july 2007 #watermelon is supposed to be 7 and he was born june 2014 #etc etc #starr is 27 and she was born september uhhh 1995 or 1997 i actually dont remember. whichever one makes sense #also that would mean building block was born in 2020 and since she's always gonna be a baby the furhter away we get #it means that she wouldnt have even been born when the story is actually supposed to take place. I’m enjoying FF7 Rebirth more than Remake so far (I was so sick of being in that uglyass city), but as someone who is not familiar with the og FF7 the sudden party member affection system absolutely blindsided me

#me a completionist that wants to be besties w everyone: yeah of course I’ll climb the clock tower w you aerith!!#aerith later when we meet up w the rest of the party: we were on a DATE 🥰 teehee #me: 🤠 what #bg3 sucker-punched me like this too. cant i just hang out with my friends??? 😭#what about this was even romantic?? 😭 we just walked up some stairs #i wish rebirth was default platonic with the option of romantic routes if you choose a romantic dialogue option or something #i should be able to max affection without threat of romance #like aerith’s quest in costa del sol is killing me. i want to complete it so bad but i can’t unless i go on a date with her #and i can’t do it like that’s zack’s girl lmao even if he’s dead i can’t help feeling like it’s the zack inside of cloud drawing #cloud and aerith together like that (in a romantic sense)#it’s like the same reason i can’t get behind repliku w namine or sora w namine #the true source of those feelings come from someone else/someone else’s memories and feelings #and/or those feelings are for someone else #so it feels like a lie to me. it’s not the truth. idk #I’m a big fan of the friendship between cloud and aerith. they were my faves in remake #but new context makes romance between them feel kinda :/#you know what i mean? idk #anyway. please just let me be best friends with everyone

It would be funny if the vol 10 happened and we saw them flirting, what a power move that would be (and then Weiss going like "omg mom do you even know who that guy is, he's crusty" >:-/)

#althoug the thing about CRWBY is that they seem to be afraid of letting relationships happen #I mean it as you dont see the characters really try out things and come to the conclusion that maybe this wasnt the way I want to go #so you know I dont think we'd see anything between two because CRWBY would think they have to be the end game then #and that they are getting married or something along those lines imo #that been said I like the idea of them just thinking the world is going to end in Vacuo and finding comfort in each others company #or if its before fall of Atlas it could be like drunken one night stand and aftermath of it turns out to them wanting to try out dating #Maybe Willow would find it amusing if she never got to date in more casual sense due to her family name #suddenly she gets to live the teenage fantasy of sneaking out to meet up with this guy #I think if we went with one nightstand scenario Qrow would try assure her that its okay they are both adults who make mistakes #after all he didnt do that either; he chose to be here #maybe Willow would find comfort in the straightforwardness ?#Even if Qrow didnt think it about it himself; Willow could see him as someone who chose to continue living despite everything #thats enough rambling for now I think #shipping bingo #I think id prefer Raven/Willow because #well milfs #jk jk... unless?
