Curious about what your post about c!Dream's authority means? He seems to have authority to me, but also I wasn't around to watch the earlier streams and largely get information from other people's analysis
Welp, looks like I have to answer now lol. There are actually plenty of people in the tags of the post who put it a lot better than I do but it basically boils down to how, from what I remember, Tommy and Wilbur and Quackity all treating Dream like this “authority” to be taken down, or the one to go to for permission in creating a country/confirming legitimacy when he really, doesn’t have that power or authority? It’s one of those things people just assume he has and treat him like he does, but only whenever it’s convenient for their own agendas
Take Tommy, for example. He’s the only one I’ve mentioned who doesn’t make Dream’s “authority” political, but he still treats Dream as this “top dog” to take down. When Dream tries to tell him to stop or to follow the rules or even just apologize, he doesn’t. Ergo Tommy doesn’t respect Dream’s “authority” or care that it exists, because to him it only exists as a reason/way for Tommy to “take Dream down”.
Now for Wilbur, it’s the same thing, basically. But he makes Dream’s “authority” political. Wilbur’s the one who decided that Dream was the ruler of the Dream SMP, because he needed a clear cut leader to fight against, and not just a rag tag group of server members who don’t like what he’s doing, but also aren’t particularly inclined to stop him. But when it comes to Dream actually asking him to do things, or to follow the rules or to, y’know, not exclude over half the server from even entering their little plot of land, Wilbur, obviously, doesn’t follow. He doesn’t respect Dream’s “authority” or acknowledge that it’s real at all. If he did negotiations wouldn’t have essentially amounted to Dream asking Wilbur to stop and Wilbur saying “No <3”. Dream’s “authority”, once again, only exists so far as Wilbur needs it to exist, in order to have his little revolution, in order to stick it to the man, in order to have his little country and his little presidency acknowledged as real and important, even if he has zero real respect for the man he wants it from. And this trend has continued far past the prison arc. If Dream had real political “authority”, beforehand, he certainly doesn’t have any now.
As for Quackity, just go watch the whole Mexican L’manberg fiasco. Man blows up his fiancé, steals the king’s throne, all in an attempt to get his country recognized by Dream (might be mistaken, can’t remember if it was because he wanted recognition from Dream or in spite of Dream lol), but when they finally resolve the conflict and Dream asks for an apology from Quackity, along with one to Eret, Quackity flat out refuses to apologize to Dream. Like, do you respect about Dream’s “authority” or not? If you do why are you spitting it in his face like that? If you don’t, why are you treating him like he’s the sole authority on country legitimacy then???
It’s this trend of people assuming and then assigning authority and power to Dream when he really doesn’t have any because it’s convenient for them at the time. And the moment it’s no longer convenient they pretend the given authority doesn’t exist. Even now, where any political importance or power or authority Dream might have had beforehand is completely gone, Wilbur’s still looking for his “approval” from Dream, an escaped criminal he wants to kill.
Of course, it’s not like Dream doesn’t take advantage of any perceived authority he has over the server or whatever, but people don’t really respect him as any sort of political power or authority or as a perceived ruler of the server. They respect him because of his prowess in battle and going through with threats and acting like a scary motherfucker when he needs to be.
But yeah, the moment Dream tries to use his “authority” it doesn’t exist, and the moment it’s useful to have Dream as a scapegoat for their own agendas, he’s in charge of the entire server. That’s what I mean by “Dream’s authority only exists for other people to shit on.” It’s only ever acknowledged when they need someone “in charge” to shit on.
(Of course, this isn’t counting how other members of the server give Dream this authority but actually respect it, or the way everyone just, assumes he’s got some inherent authority over the server no one else has. And the ways Dream has tried to play it to his advantage. This is just mostly talking about that of the people who actively acknowledge Dream as having authority over the server, his authority only exists for them as long as it benefits their own agendas. Whether that agenda is to take down the Top Dog or to Stick it to the Man or have their country acknowledged as legitimate.)

hey, so, i've been a wilbur fan for ages, and i want to see the evidence against him. this isn't sarcasm or anything, i just genuinely want all the evidence so i can make a decision
Sure! I got you covered, anon. No shame in deliberating on the evidence yourself. I'll link you a few posts.
This is a good master post, but I will provide a few additional sources:

Poppy for N2 au, it took me so long to make her design cuz I didn't really know what I wanted to do only because I feel like her design is pretty perfect.
But then I just thought about fun outfits to give her or outfits that I would find comfortable if I was wearing them and it all came together.
Poppy here is pretty much the same as here movie counterpart, as nothing really changes on her end of things other than having more insight on Branch through his brothers, and through Lief. Shes also a bit more understanding a bit earlier on because of it but it doesnt do much to change her own character arc I would say.
Bonus
Part of Poppys design was based off a design I had made for previous rulers of Troll Village/Tree
Namely Queen Protea who I designed as Poppys grandmother
Named after the Protea flower which part of her design is based off :D
In the context of this Au Protea was the one who conceptualized the tunnels while her son, King Peppy, was the one to follow through after her death

listen idk how many people can relate to this but i can't stop thinking abt. f/os that are touchy without even realizing it.
like !!! they always have an arm slung around your shoulder , or a hand placed on your back , or sometimes their fingers will barely graze over you because your presence is just so magnetizing to them. whenever you sit next to them there's a slow shift as they lean into you, gradually, maybe snaking a hand over yours or settling their head against your arm ...
... but then the moment anyone calls attention to it they're confused. maybe they'll be hanging out with a colleague or you'll just bring it up in random conversation , but when someone points it out they have to pause and self-reflect. me ? touchy ?? what are you talking about. when did this happen. (as if they haven't been non-stop holding your hand for the past 30 minutes)

There's something in this life left to live
or, giving these two fools a soft moment because they deserve it. not gonna lie, I got a bit emotional when making this. I wrote something from Astarion's perspective to go along with it:
Once upon a time we pressed against an unyielding tree trunk, just like this. Once upon a time we hid ourselves in the obscuring night.
Now, the moonlight paints your smile bright and boundless.
We were not unwilling back then, though an ocean laid between us. I pressed my body atop yours and went somewhere else.
How could I have known that you would follow me there?
You were the one who was supposed to be under my thumb. I was the trickster moved by your silver song.
You were the cradle that held me safe when all I wanted was to fall into the abyss. You were the gentle voice that beckoned,
Open your eyes. See what could be if you loosened that white-knuckled grip you keep on your fear.
Sometimes I find myself slipping into the old movements — a flutter of lashes, a dangerous smile — and then I remember. I remember that you were with me at my darkest and ugliest and most utterly heartbroken, and still you told me,
It is an honor to witness you. It is a privilege to be by your side.
And I let that ancient rhythm fall away. I was free to walk off that tired path, and now, everything is new. How will life surprise me when I allow myself to participate?
I was struck with wonder to know that there are people in this world like you. Could you have ever guessed we would end up here, back when we were strangers on the hillside? I didn't have the strength to imagine it. Now, I find myself thinking:
Where will we end up tomorrow? What wonders will we behold? There will be such love and such joy, and such hardship to balance it. But for the first time, I feel I am courageous enough to face it, because I am not alone anymore.
I will be with you here, beneath this moonlight, beneath this canopy. And afterwards, I hope you will imagine with me all the life we have left to live.
