Can we all admit something?
That Rei was also abusive?
Like she also neglected Touya, Fuyumi and Natsuo? I mean yall be saying that they don’t blame her but Touya does? I mean touya told her that she’s guilty too??? Yes he wanted to apologize to her but just her to all of them but they just forgot about him??? Rei literally still can’t see how hurt touya is and how she also compares her children abuse by saying there’s one who’s hurt then the other? How all of them even if they didn’t have any memory of her with them unlike Shoto still call her mom? Shoto has been shown what love is and the others? I mean if fuyumi and natsuo forgive her now that’s bc she’s not mentally well but as kids I believe they always felt jealous of shoto. Like when touya had his breakdown and tried to attack baby shoto, she didn’t go to hold her baby who just had a breakdown like 8 years old child having a breakdown this is so fucked up! Instead she went and stayed with Shoto?!!! She wasn’t abused until shoto was born. The way she used to hug shoto when he cry and watch tv with him and put good things in his mind while she never did any of that to touya? She did but when he’s 13? Like when it’s too late? I mean he was 5, at some why she didn’t even try to do the same thing maybe as a lil child could put something in his brain. But Touya doesn’t know what love is, what mother’s love is. He only think love is “training” and that shows how touya was only a tool to both rei and enji 👍🏽

New Baby Pt. 2 | Yandere!Todoroki Family x Reader
Tumblr media
Quiet sobs could be heard from behind the door of the room you now slept in.
Enji had thought you'd be more understanding and compliant if you received a letter and 'paperwork' showing that your parents had given the Todoroki's legal guardianship over you.
However, to his shock, that only seemed to upset you more.
You asked him to leave the room in such a thin, sullen voice that he couldn't help but oblige.
Now he, and the rest of the family, were sitting at the dinner table watching their food go cold.
Your seat was still empty.
All eyes were on Enji, wondering what the next move was.
"I'll... I'll get (Y/N) out of her room by lunchtime," He said. "Even if she's still upset."
Rei nodded, shifting her attention to her kids, "And make sure that everyone is extra nice today. (Y/N) has obviously felt some big feelings and I don't want her to get too overwhelmed like yesterday. Understood?"
Three nods and Rei smiled back in answer, "Good."
When it was time for lunch, just like Enji had said, he got you out of your room.
Everyone's hearts crumbled at the sight of you. Your eyes were puffy underneath and red. It was obvious all you did today was cry your heart out.
At the table, you were seated between Enji and Rei.
You could feel everyone staring at you while you tried to eat.
When you couldn’t take the staring anymore, you put your utensils down, unable to make eye contact as you asked, “How long will I be staying here?”
“There’s no telling.” Enji answered firmly, “If your parents can get back on their feet, they will come back and get you.”
You shuffled in your seat slightly. “How long will that take?”
“Let’s not discuss this over dinner, sweetheart.” Reid’s voice cut in.
There was no need for you to keep thinking about your old parents anyway. It made you too upset. She’d be a much better mommy anyhow. You’d see soon enough and would forget all about your other mom.
After dinner, Fuyumi took you to the shower room.
“Here, you get the use the shower before the dirty boys do.” She smiled kindly.
She made sure you had the proper necessities and even let you pick out whatever body wash you wanted from her personal collection.
You liked how kind she was. It was nothing like Enji, who was always towering over you and bleeding with intimidation.
“Just shout if you need something.” She told you and left you alone.
A nice wash and soak was a good start to bettering your mood. Maybe you could ask Enji or Rei if you could call your parents tomorrow to get a better idea of the situation.
It wasn’t like them to just leave a letter.
Wrapped in a towel, you strolled back to your room to find Rei sitting on your bed.
Beside her was a pair of expensive-looking silk pajamas.
She smiled at you despite the uncomfortable look on your face, “I hope you don’t mind that I picked out some pajamas for you. We bought these for you last minute.” She explained coolly.
She stood up, “We can go shopping this week to get you your own clothes, how does that sound, (Y/N)?” She tilted her head at you, waiting for an answer.
You clutched the towel closer to your body, “What about my old clothes?”
She chuckled at you, as if you’d said something silly.
“You don’t need to worry about that. New clothes never hurt anybody.”
You supposed that was true. It would probably be nice to get out.
You walked over to the pajamas and then looked over at Rei. Why hadn’t she left yet?
She didn’t seem to be taking the hint and threw you a concerned glance, “What’s wrong? Do you need my help?”
You immediately shook your head, “No!” You yelped. “I-I need privacy, please… Mrs. Todoroki.”
“Oh! Of course you do!” How could Rei have forgotten? You were a big girl. Of course you could dress yourself.
She left the room, standing right outside in case you needed help at any point.
Once you had your pajamas on, you had to admit that they felt quite nice. The silk was soft and smooth. It was comfortably cool against your skin as well.
At some point as you finished getting ready for bed, you gasped sharply when you banged your hand against the counter of the vanity in your room.
Rei burst into the room.
"Did you hurt yourself?!" Rei asked, panic clear in her voice. She reached out for your hand and you yanked it back, "Let mama see, (Y/N)," She told you sternly.
You flinched at the word.
Mama.
You looked at her as if she'd grown another head and frowned deeply, "You... You're not my mom, Mrs. Todoroki."
Rei looked so upset at that declaration that you would've thought you'd shot her.
You could see that she was incredibly hurt by what you'd said but she masked it with a smile, chuckling to herself, "Right, of course I'm not... Force of habit."
After an awkward goodnight, she left your room disheartened.
Enji was waiting for her in their shared room, arms crossed with a frown. “What the hell is wrong with you, woman?!”
Rei flinched back, “I jus-“
“You’re moving too fast, is what you’re doing! Stop forcing yourself on her! Do you want her to hate you?”
“No, Enji, I don’t.”
“Then slow down. I had to pay a good amount to get guardianship of (Y/N). We can’t mess this up because you can’t control yourself.”
Rei kept her head down, “I’m sorry. You’re right. I’ll apologize to (Y/N) tomorrow.”
Enji huffed approvingly, laying down in his bed and turning over.
This wasn’t going to be easy for either one of you.

*this was—apparently—in my queue on my nsfw blog, and i must have scheduled it so far out so that it wasn't taking up room in my drafts, and the day that i scheduled it came to pass and it posted on a locked blog and i didn't even know about it until now hehe
Tumblr media
i actually get a little sad, thinking of pro hero touya !! especially in the case of knowing him before it all, when he was still eighteen and scrawny, angst-fueled, acne on his cheeks 🥺
you're the first person he's ever had like this. you're not necessarily dating, because endeavor wouldn't allow such a possibility, such a distraction, but you walk with him after school and occasionally stay for dinner, sometimes come over to study on weekends. rei let you hang around until the early hours of the morning once, lazing on the couch with all her kids, watching movies while enji was on night patrol.
there isn't much time the two of you have to yourselves, outside of school and touya's siblings, so the relationship is platonic for the most part (save for the few brave late night texts that have been exchanged, the handful of goodbye kisses you've managed to sneak on his doorstep). the furthest it ever goes is on the couch upstairs, one weeknight when his dad is gone and everyone else is meant to be asleep.
it's hard, being that age and having to settle for hands held under the table, fleeting looks across the room when the tv goes dark. it freaks him out, too, wanting something—you, in more ways than one—when he knows his main focus should be graduation, his reputation, training. his future.
but you're so—comforting, and you couldn't care less about who his dad is or who touya is supposed to be one day; you're here, always, for who he is now. for his home-pierced lip and chipping nail polish and red, embarrassed cheeks. for just touya.
and so he really goes for it in the moment he can, manages to unbutton your shirt enough to slip his hand inside it. and he's never touched someone like this before, so even though you're shy about your simple, plain bra—he really isn't paying attention to that, just the tender weight of your breast in his hand. how soft and squishy it is.
by now, you've managed to figure out the kissing thing: it had been a bit awkward before—when to move his head, where to fit his nose—and it all had to be done quick, in case anyone was coming around the corner, and he really should still be worried about that, but his head is only full of you, you, you.
especially when you unzip his slacks enough to fit your hand, his whole body stiffening when your fingers brush the material of his boxers, touching him in a way he's only done to himself. it doesn't go too far—though touya is more than preparing himself to lose his virginity on this couch—but there's such severity to the want flowing through his veins, an intensity he'd never felt before then.
of course natsuo ruins it, by shouting at the top of his lungs that touya's got his pants down, even though he totally doesn't, and—
maybe that's all he gets from you, before his future finally comes for him.
gradation and becoming a side-kick, joining endeavor's agency, adjusting to the new hero life; it becomes a lot for him, and now that enji has the chance to be more heavily involved in touya's every step—he loses you along the way. gets swept up in the tide of fame and glory and all that his dad has ever wanted for him.
but i think—no matter how many people he sleeps with, how many people come in and out of his bed as the years pass, he'll never forget how he felt on that couch during that late night. how special you felt to him. how special he felt to you.

PUPPY BOY! AU HEADCANONS PART.2
Part 1
Tagging the babes: @shonen-brainrot @dabislittlemouse @angelshimaa and @shionancientsblog
Remember I'm still working on this AU so feedback is appreciated
Deku + Maltipoo
• Maltipoo is a hybrid breed resulting from the mix of a Maltese and a Poodle. And who was born quirkless but got a Quirk transferred? Deku! Which to some extent makes him a hybrid too. Both are highly intelligent and friendly breeds, which suits Izuku very well!
• Izuku radiates Crusty white dog energy, there's no way to deny it, and this breed is part of that group. He has a sweet, caring and friendly personality, but he is also VERY emotional. Cries a lot, he can't help it. Maltipoos also have very fluffy fur, which matches Izuku's green hair.
• This puppy boy was practically protected and pampered by his mom; Inko always brushed his fur after baths! However, just like any other Maltipoo, Izuku adapts easily to any environment and challenge. He also has quite the intelligence and memory, making him the perfect puppy boy for almost any task. Appropriate, considering Izuku is progressively learning to control all his powers and molding himself to the needs of his missions.
• Did I mention Maltipoo puppies befriend practically anyone? *ehem* Just like Izuku befriended [insert list of pretty much any student at U. A]
• Oh, you want to put a doggie collar around his neck? Go ahead! Even when the skin of his cheeks and ears get all red with embarrassment, he loves it. Push a little further, and you'll even be able to hear him whine for attention.
• Needy, so, so needy. Pet his ears and he'll be melting! Play with his hair and he'll fall asleep on your lap.
“Are we gonna hang out today?” Izuku asked, tail wagging effusively at the promise of an evening by your side. You smiled apologetically, excusing yourself. “Sorry, Izu, today I have some work left to do. Maybe another day?”
The puppy in front of you pouted, begging with a pleading face. “Please, please, please! I- I brought my favorite All Might DVD,” Izuku said, his hands gently tugging your shirt. Sighing, you gave up; how were you supposed to win against someone that could quite literally pull puppy eyes on you? “Maybe we can binge-watch it while I work.”
Izuku's lips stretched in content, yapping a sweet “Thank you!” as he walked by your side. “We can lay on the couch, and I'll make sure to recap everything you missed while you weren't paying attention!”
Todoroki + Siberian husky
• I had some trouble deciding which of these breeds fitted Shoto more. On one hand, he could be a Doberman like Dabi, after all, they come from the same dad (like it or not). Enji would've cut his ears and tail too to make him more imposing, and dominant-looking (trying to mold him to his image), leading to Rei burning his face and, well, Todoroki trauma. On the other hand, Siberian huskies already have plenty of traits in common with Shoto.
• Siberian huskies have a stern and serious aura around them, specially at first glance. Their deep gaze and icy blue/light gray eyes manage to allure anyone, not to mention is one of the breeds that has more common cases of heterochromia. We all know how Shoto debuted as a “I'm not here to make friends” character but, in the end– just like this breed –Shoto proves to be friendly and silly with the right people.
• He has very soft big furry ears, and a fluffy tail curled upwards; the fur is white and brown/reddish and matches his hair almost too perfectly. Shoto also has massive canines that he tends to bare when he is truly pissed off or stressed.
• Like many huskies, he is smart and has a lot of stamina. You need to keep this particular puppy mentally/physically stimulated by either showing him new tricks (e.g. Simple science experiments or DIY tutorials) or burning that energy (e.g. Teach him how to play Just dance!)
• Sheds, a lot. Help him brush his fur because otherwise you'll be dealing with random dog hairs in your room. Oh, he also has trouble communicating in general! Which is funny considering how Huskies don't bark like normal dogs, they kind of howl and cry.
• Shoto is a very odd puppy, but a great listener if you ever need to talk.
“And you're supposed to put your left hand on a red circle. Like this!” You said, bending and twisting into a rather uncomfortable position over the Twister mat. Shoto had been aching to play with you for a while, begging - in his odd way (which was standing in front of your bed until you noticed him) — to learn. “I see, so the cardboard thing dictates which limb you move and where you put it.” He said, kneeling to your level as you plopped on the mat.
“Yes, exactly! The last one standing is the winner,” Shoto heard you add, nodding at tour words with seriousness. “Just make sure to keep your tail tucked, we don't want another sneezing accident…"
Shoto unconsciously whined, dropping his ears like a scolded puppy. “Sorry, I didn't mean to make everyone fall with my fur.” The first time he had tried to play, his tail and ears tickled everyone's nose, making the complex knot everyone was tangled in collapse. “It's OK, Sho, it happens.” You smiled sympathetically.
Shigaraki + Rottweiler
• It was suggested that Shiggy could be a Corgi by the lovely @shionancientsblog , and while it would be a cute idea (specially when he had one as a kid), I think Shigaraki's evolution as a person makes him fall under the category of a “problematic breed”. Rotties are great family dogs in the right environment, they are friendly, caring, and playful; sadly, we all know this puppy boy didn't have a good family. Shiggy was neglected and abused as a baby, and he eventually bit the hand that was supposed to take care of him! So, like many dogs when they bite, he was cast away and tagged as a danger. A kind puppy turned into a crazed dog by the hand of the wrong handlers.
• He has short floppy ears with black fur, matching his original hair color. The tail is black as well, but it was cut by his father to “avoid accidents”. Shiggy's fur, however, changed in color the same way his hair did.
• Wears a spiked collar, a gift granted by A.F.O to avoid using his quirk on the skin of his neck. He doesn't like it, but knows it's for the best.
• Rottweilers are also known for acting on impulse and being childish (borderline being messy or confused as aggressive) when they have no guidance. Shiggy had the same behavior when he first started his villain life, but with the right training, he learned to focus his energy on a specific target. Trained to bite on command.
• When he gets involved with you, however, you slowly but surely start filling that emotional void he had. It took a lot of trial and error, specially when he growled at you with those large canines of his, but patience turned out to be enough to ease him.
• Much like Dabi, Shiggy grants you scary dog privileges, but he is less controlled about it and will target anyone who may be “trying to take away his owner”. He won't call you owner, by the way, but in his heart you are part of the very reduced group he likes and follows.
“I don't like the way he is looking at you!” Shigaraki growled, unconsciously trying to hide you from Dabi's gaze. The latter had been sending you cocky smirks here and there, pissing Shiggy off. “Calm down, he isn't doing anything,” you assured him, allowing your hand to pat his head. The frown on Tomura's face softened, but he still didn't like the idea of another person laying eyes on you. “What, you like him better?”
You knew that the child inside him was speaking, so you indulged. “No, Shiggy is my favorite.” Tomura heard you say, feeling the warmth of your lips on his cheek. “W-what was that?!" He yelped, “Are you trying to embarrass me?” You shook your head. “Just making sure you know how much I like you”.

Idk what to tell to the people who still don't get that although is okay to teach kids the rules to live in a society (like respect others or don't kill or whatever), Kotaro Shimura, Enji Todoroki and Toga's parents didn't care as much for society rules as they care for the rules that made them feel okay at home.
Which in the end caused the main villain trio to reject authority and society and turn into violence, since they did try to use words as kids and were royally ignored.
Tenko, Touya and Toga tried very hard to be good kids, but in their parents conception it was not enough 'cause they couldn't repress some of their needs: they wanted their dads and moms to accept them as they were, to accept who they wanted to be, to accept the way they expressed love and accept the way they interacted with their surroundings.
In Tenko's case, Kotaro was unable to accept his kid desire to become a hero. His could be the worst case in bnha, given the violence of his tragedy and how misfortune (maybe even something else) played on it ending so badly. Tomura himself said that house rejected his very identity, even tho Hana tried to support him in secret and Nao stood up for him, little too late. For what we saw of him as a child, his only defect as a son was wanting to be a pro-hero, dream that got him beaten up for, grounded in a rather cruelly manner. Kotaro's trauma turned him into an irrational man, his hatred for heroes was both the build up and the catalysis of the tragedy that ended the lives of the people he loved the most.
Tenko didn't become a villain because he was an evil kid. He became a villain because AFO wanting it so and because Kotaro inculcated in him such extreme hatred.
In Touya's case, it's a bit more complicated. I don't believe Enji's obsession was completely evil in nature, although his actions were truly selfish and it became later abusive, when his desperation blinded him to the point he was unable to understand how bad he has turned out to be. Like in Tenko's case, the mother is at fault only in yhe sense that their lack of intervention allowed the situation to escalate 'til they couldn't prevent it anymore. Touya's case differentiates itself in the fact that he was older than Tenko, his behavior declining over the years into extreme violence, unlike the way Tenko exploded in murder glee when Kotaro hit him one last time.
The lack of proper attention from both Enji and Rei allowed Touya's behavior to become a tragedy. Their negligence, Enji's focus on his work and Shouto (as a project not a son) and Rei's role of a caretaker yet not a mother, combined with the incapacity of Natsuo and Fuyumi to understand what Touya was going through (really, only Shouto could, but at that point Touya hated him too much and Shouto was way too young)... Well, it didn't end well for a kid that didn't want help anymore but attention on his own terms. He was tired of adapting, the same way Tenko rebelled in his insistence of acting the hero way.
The same house rule ( YOU CANNOT BE A HERO ) sent them both to AFO's hands, one way or another. They were kids who couldn't act the way their dads wanted, so fuck them I guess.
That part is compatible to Toga's case. Kinda.
Toga's parents are by far the most twisted of the bunch, which is a lot to say considering that Kotaro hit his kids and Enji even hit his wife. Yet, without having to touch a single hair of their little girl, they inflicted damage so deep she preferred to become a runaway criminal than to stay at home one more day.
At least Kotaro and Enji valued at some level Tenko and Touya's existence. Toga's parents didn't care about her at all. She was as good as a broken doll, an imperfect piece of their furniture, something they wish wasn't related to them at all. Enji was at least worry about his son and he loved him at some degree, the same way Kotaro worry over Tenko was born out of his fear of losing his family. Nothing of it excuses what they do and let it be said that Enji and Kotaro did saw Touya and Tenko as monsters at some point (when Touya tried to kill Shouto and on his Dabi era, when Tenko killed his family and turned to Kotaro). Yet it doesn't compare to the way Toga's parents immediately erased her from their lives, even denying any affiliation. They sent her to that therapy like a car needing to be repaired. She was a sign of status, she was an object that they failed to produce, she was an aberration and a freak, she deserved to be put down.
From the three od them, Toga was the one who struggled the most to fit in socially, not to society standards tho. To her parents.
If all these parents had cared for their kids more than they cared for his own stupid rules maybe things would have been different. But that's the core of their problems, they don't need the whole world to accept them, they need to treat the internalized traumas their parents left them with, the self-hatred and the feeling of inadequacy and the need for acceptance (of themselves) and recognition.
That's why Toga, Izuku and Shouto are the key for their recovery. Acting as mirrors, they are meant to provide the closure the villain trio desperately need. It's not just a sibling or a nemesis bond, but a recognition of the self through the other situation.
If they can accept themselves and correct their ways and get free from their parents absurd rules, if they can move past the child need for their parents validation, maybe they can finally exist in a less painful way.

yandere todoroki clan (head canons, platonic)
warning's- drugging, guilt tripping, gas lighting, mentions of killing
credit goes to @i-cant-sing
Fuyumi
is much more possessive than she is obsessive although that doesn't mean she's no obsessive just not as much as she is possessive
She wouldn't bother with punishment's why would she want to hurt her poor little sibling that'll only scare you from her and she doesn't want that she just wants you happy but that doesn't mean she won't have a little chat with you
she's delusional like her mum luckily not as much
when you ran away she didn't believe it she told herself that you only ran away because you saw something that scared you
She doesn't let you cook but she let's you watch her the most she lets you do is pass her stuff but nothing sharp
she think's that you need to tell her everything and if you don't she easily finds out her looking through your stuff no matter how good you hide it she finds out
Natsuo
he's not really possessive or obsessive neither is he delusional but he swings more to the obsessive side even though it's just a little bit
he only drugs you when necessarily like trying to run away, being restless, won't sleep He doesn't like drugging you but if he needs to he will
He take's you outside into the back garden when it's just you and him he doesn't like having to have you locked up inside all the time getting no fresh air
He won't hurt you physically or mentally
He get's you plenty of thing's in hope's it can help bring you closer to them or clear your boredom
You don't see him a whole load due to him being in college but when he's there he tries to spend as much time with you as possible
Shoto
He's both possessive and obsessive but is more possessive
He doesn't want you to have anyone else's attention only his
often he will guilt trip you into spending time with him
very rarely he'll freeze you but there has been time's were he's froze your arm just to get you to come do something with him
He enjoys painting with you not only can he spend time with you but he can tell you about his day and listen about yours's
like Fuyumi he want's to know everything and will do what he can to find out
he's delusional but not that much
Touya/Dabi
He's possessive
at first he wasn't sure of you when you were first born but after a while he could never leave you be
two year's after he 'died' he started coming back to see you even though you were just asleep he'd sneak in just to be with his little sibling making sure you were okay
It was obvious you were his favourite but then again you were everyone's favourite
When he started to show his face you would've been 14 he would only do it every few weeks for the first 5 months
unlucky for you he isn't as kind as his other siblings he doesn't mind having to hurt you a little to get you to behave
anyone else has hurt you (if you were to run away for a few days or something) he'd be the one to kill them
rei
she's quite delusional, possessive and obsessive
she thinks everything can hurt you, how could you save yourself your far to precious for this world especially since your quirk less
she'd never hurt you physically your her sweet baby how could she ever hurt you like that
but on the mental side of things she'll gaslight you, guilt trip/ manipulate anything she can do she will try
she's drugged you a few times with the help of Natsuo
unfortunately when she's with you (pretty much every day) she picks your clothes, picks what to do with your hair (if you've got any), what you'll do
when you try and argue with her on this she just simply smiles and explains your too young to pick your own stuff and all you can think is that your 15 now, and if your persistent to get your point across she'll get Natsuo to drug you and if he's not here then you better hope she knows what she's doing
enji
he's possessive
he never really bothered with you when you were younger he never showed any signs of caring even though deep down he did until you were 11
he doesn't bother hurting you physically or mentally he done that with his other kids now it's his chance to try and make it right with you
he'll spoil the shit out of you
He just like Natsuo lets you outside but your not aloud to run only go look at thing's but it can be really hard to see at night so he activates his quirk just to help
overall the best one to be stuck with would be Natsuo but unlucky you, you have all of them

a/n: wanted to go into depth about pro hero dabi with a small little angsty drabble! we get to see all the family together and how they cope with normal family arguments and not their brother/son literally being a villainous murderer.
Family dinners at the Todoroki household had become something far and few in-between due to the recent success of proheroes Dabi and Shoto. It seemed as though the entire atmosphere changed when the two brothers were missing dinner and instead being shown on the television for the rest of the family to see. There was a motherly pride not only radiating from Rei but Fuyumi as well, watching the men cover their screen. Advertisements, interviews, news segments and entertainment show spots were just some of the things that they would sometimes catch at the right time.
Endeavor, who always knew his sons were bound for great success because of his training, kept mum on their celebrity. Why comment on the inevitable? The only one who didn’t seem to understand was Natsuo. Natsuo tried to live a normal life. He chose college, a normal job, dating on his own terms and at his own time. He didn’t want what could come from being a hero.
The Todoroki family had always been a close knit unit. There was nothing they didn’t know about each other. But when Natsuo could feel the separation widening within this unit, he began to pull away from the brothers. That was until the family were sitting at the table with all sorts of expressions when the pushy Dabi got Natsuo to chirp about his new fling.
“Touya, eat your food. Mom and I worked really hard on it.” fuyumi scolded her brother, resting her wrist on the table with an annoyed appearance dressing her face. She hated when Touya got chatty, it would always lead to someone getting defensive over his brash commentary. She knew Natsuo was his next victim.
“I will but this has a bit more flavor,” Touya propped his hand in the air to exaggerate his statement. Pinching his fingers together, he kissed his fingertips before leaning over the food slightly to intimidate his brother into talking. “Seriously Natsuo? When did this happen?”
Shoto always maintained a neutral stance, but he couldn’t help but realize the pest Touya could be. “When he’s ready, he will tell us.”
“Shoto,” piercing blue eyes snapped to the youngest with agitation, “shut up.”
Natsuo could feel the spotlight on him burning brighter as he was put in the hotseat. The cameras were for the other boys, not him. He wasn’t good with moments like this. “Ah, it’s stupid, maybe she’s a rebound–” he tried, chuckling with his eyes glued to his food.
“It’s not stupid!” Touya's face lit up again before his fists banged against the table, grabbing all of his family’s attention. Even Enji was startled. “My brother gets a new girlfriend and it seems like all of my family knows but me!” The wide grin he had was beginning to shake as he stared at his brother– his supposed best friend. “ I wanna know about her. We’re supposed to be close.”
“How close can anyone really be to the number 2 hero anymore?” Natsuo didn’t mean for it to come off so harsh. He looked apologetic the moment he was finished, spotting a frown on his older brother's face.
“What? I make time. As much as I can.” Touya scoffed, brushing his brother off with his hand waving in the other direction. It was a front, even you, his fiance sitting besides him knew that. There was a very loud silence in the room. No one said anything, even you. It made him flush with embarrassment. “I make time,” his voice went cold and filled with hurt.
“Please don’t start at the table…please.” Rei begged, holding out a hand to reach for her son.
“Where is this coming from?” Touya didn’t stop, looking around the table to realize not a single individual was looking him in the eyes.
“Touya,” his mother tried again.
“Mom–” he snapped, yanking his hand from her touch all while stitching his brows. “So you all wanna be quiet when I’m asking you a question? You all feel like this?”
Rei didn’t want to see dinner ruined after many days of seeing one of her children missing from the table for various reasons. One good meal with her babies and she would be fine. “Touya, we can think of something else to talk about, yeah? This is a discussion you two can have afterwards.”
“No, if this is something you all wanna be tight lipped about, I’m not talking about anything.” He dropped his utensils on the table and dusted his hands on his clothes before looking Natsuo in the eyes. Natsuo stared at him in regret. The eldest stood from his seat to point at his brother. “I’m sorry being number 2 makes your skin burn but I’m not the only brother in the top 10 and I don’t see anyone giving Shoto heat for his success. I’m successful.”
“It’s not about that Touya–”
“Oh piss off Fuyumi, you’re a school teacher. You can come home after your nine to five without a scratch on you and they’d still love you more than the one fighting for their lives,” he barked at his sister, tilting his head down before holding a hand out for you to take. “Come on. We’re going home.”
As you stood up, you whispered a goodbye to the family and sauntered off with him. The table split looks of either disapproval or shock. They knew Dabi was a hot head but one thing they didn’t really understand was how emotionally charged he was. That night was only opening the cover page of his chapter book of feelings and emotions. As the family once again sat in silence, Rei jumped from her seat to chase the both of you down.
“Touya!” Rei trekked through the corridor to spot the both of you prior to you stepping down the stairs. “Touya wait!”
“There’s nothing you can say to make me stay. We’re going home, ma.” he didn’t want to hear it. He knew it would be an excuse to come back inside and finish a plate in silence.
“I’m not here to stop you.” his mother spoke up and out of breath. “I just wanna talk to you,” sending you a gracious glance, her focus shifted back to her son. “Just you.” it was a cue for you to leave, though being engaged to someone like Dabi, you made sure to never be too far away. You found comfort taking a few more steps to pause at the bridge that went over that small pond you adored.
“Natsuo is just a bit sensitive. You aren’t just brothers but you’re his best friend. He feels like he’s losing you to the rest of Japan.” Rei placed her hand on her son’s shoulder.
‘Why doesn’t he treat Shoto with that same shitty logic? I’m not stopping him from becoming a goddamn hero.”
“You watch your mouth,” his mother spat. “And he’s not that close with Shoto. No one is.”
Touya tried to take a step back from his anger and think about his next words. While he was heated, he felt more hurt than anything. “I try to come around,” his voice hushed to avoid anyone other than his mother hearing him be vulnerable. “Do you think I spend too much time away from you guys?” he quizzed. “Mom?”
“I think we have a very complicated family dynamic.” Touya rolled his eyes but looked back to his mother as she continued to speak. “I don’t want you to feel bad about the time you spend away doing what you love or being with who you love. You save people, Touya. I’m proud of you. You could have been doing anything else in the world. With all the things your father has put you through I’m more shocked you stuck to your guns and became a hero. You and Fuyumi try your hardest to keep this family together. Natsuo is scared. We all are.” He tried…he really tried hearing his mother’s side and from the bridge, you could see his face falling.
“Of what? I can take care of myself.” Touya’s brows stitched together as he raised his hands to emphasize the world around him.
“Japan needs Dabi, but we need Touya. I need Touya.” Rei scolded, “you’re my baby and I would never ask you to stretch yourself thin. If you’re trying and your brothers and sister cannot seem to understand it, let yourself be misunderstood. You do what is best for you. I always told you that.” Placing her hand on her son’s chest, she gave him a nod of approval.
He tried to stand strong, but he couldn’t. Dabi took his mothers hand and kissed her knuckles, staring into her steel colored eyes. “I think we’re going to head home.”
“Will you talk to Natsuo before you go?”
“I’ll head back over tomorrow. I promised my fiancé some alone time.” grabbing the back of his mother’s head, he kissed the top of her head. “I love you Ma.” backing away from his mother, he waved her a small goodbye before scraping his shoes along the dirt and holding a hand out for you to take as he stepped up the bridge.

Inspired by the 'Tenya is All mights son', what about an AU where Shouto is a result of Rei having an affair with All might? For maximum drama Shouto still has half hot half cold.
1- "where the hell did the hot half come from" Toshinori's mother had a fire quirk. He got his quirklessness from his father. The fire skips generations but everyone is hot I guess. Maybe that's why Toshi's vestiges is flame-y.
2- Shoto is born with a mess of white and golden hair, like a little candle flame. One blue eye and one grey, and Enji would never suspect his wife cheated on him... Surely this kid will just have a mild fire that hopefully won't be too much for an icy constitution. This is Rei's fourth child. It seems all attempts have failed. Enji withdraws to work. Touya's half mad that his little brothers were too useless to get their father's attention back where he was, half glad that they've all be thrown aside.
And then Shoto turns four, and he doesn't just hold a warm flame in one hand, but a sharp icicle in the other. His blue eye seems to glow when he's alight, and there's clear power in the quirk. After a few days of trying, Enji actually comes out of the office to see what his youngest is trying to show him, and is almost afraid to believe what he sees. He doesn't want to wake up from the dream he had all but abandoned, and he's cautious, careful with training... at first.
3- Shoto, who's already bonded with his siblings, does not like to be pulled away from them now that he's not useless anymore, and he will say so loudly and at great length. It shames Enji... At first. Rei does her best but has long since realized who her son's father is. That there was any fire at all baffled her, but she can't reach back out and ask All Might. She can't even stand to see the heroes face on the news, or on the toys Shoto asks for. Her children assume her hatred grew with Enji's actions about his own. The pressure builds. Touya almost kills himself and Shoto in training one day when Enji is at work, and Rei is injured trying to stop them. At the hospital, she has a breakdown about how she hesitated, how she thought about if the house burned down there'd be nothing left of her children, no evidence of her own or of Enji's wrongdoings. Touya and Shoto return from the hospital. Rei does not. A nurse looks at Shoto's blood type, and then Touya's, and says nothing.
4- Training slows again, at first. Until Touya leaves, eighteen and burning up, and takes Natsuo with him. (Natsuo insisted. He already finished middle school, who cared more than that. Fuyumi can take care of Shoto, but none of them should be left alone, like Mom) Then Shoto continues training, refusing to use his fire. Fuyumi, her mother's secret keeper, who only knows because Rei wasn't seeing her when she spoke, burns to tell her brother the truth. But she can't. She waits, and when Shoto gets into UA and the news breaks that All Might will be teaching there, she nearly collapses.
5- so does Toshinori ever figure out that beautiful woman was in fact Endeavor's wife- yeah actually he did, Rei told him the morning after that she was married and apologized profusely then vanished, and he saw her a few years later on his arm at an event. He has said nothing but assumes this is the reason Enji hates him. He doesn't realize until the SF that Enji believes Shoto to be his son, even with the blond hair, and wonders if that's because of the fire but then realizes that Enji truly knows nothing. So, after the SF, Toshi decides the first person who deserves to know the truth is Shoto and pulls him aside, telling him that once, about sixteen or seventeen years ago, he knew a woman who turned it to be married- Shoto interrupts and asks if that's Izuku's mother, and if Izuku told All Might that he was on to him. Toshi, confused, says no- it's another student. He explains more. Shoto is in shock. He leaves school in the middle of the day and goes to the hospital to see his mother for the first time in years. The only thing he can ask is why she didn't tell him. He doesn't leave until visiting hours are over, the hospital staff called Fuyumi to come pull him from his mother's arms because they can't.

I've kinda been thinking on how, at least compared to the parents that we know, that Inko is probably the best parent, and that's... Honestly kind of sad, since even though I love her to death, she's very clearly very flawed, as she is very emotionally dependant on Izuku, which I won't rag on her too much, since she is pretty much a single mother, but it's still an issue that she has.
But again, even with her flaws, she is probably the best parent in canon, like... I don't think Mitsuki is abusive as the fandom says she is, but... I don't think she's a great mother either. I always thought it was kind of a red flag how Bakugo seems to inherit her short temper and such, but... I just find it satisfying someone actually rightfully yelling at Bakugo for once XD, we don't know much about Masaru either, but I guess it's safe to say that he's kind of a pushover, which might make for an unpleasant family dynamic.
I'm not even going to touch on Enji and Rei very much, since... The problems are kind of obvious. Rei is obviously the better parent, but if we take everything that is said in the manga/anime at face value, she isn't a saint either, but I won't rag on her too much either, since most of what happened wasn't really her fault.
So... In concluison, Inko is probably the best of the parents in canon, which is kind of sad, because even though she is very flawed, pretty much all of the other parents (who got any sort of focus, that is) have so many more flaws that Inko kind of wins by default.
True. I sorta wish that the parents did get a bit more attention. I think it could be very interesting to see their POVs regarding their children.

I think, at the end of the day, what I want above all else from the end of the Todoroki family story arc and Dabi's story, beyond Enji not just getting off scotfree after ruining his family's lives but I feel that's a given but beyond that-
I want Dabi to be given time.
One reocurring thing running among the Todoroki's is that most of them has been given time away from the fucked up family situation, away from Enji, to grow as their own people.
Fuyumi complicates this obviously. You could argue her becoming a teacher and building an adult life could count, but Fuyumi also wants other things compared to her siblings, and that's okay! But if you look at the other three, I think it's easier to see what I mean.
Shouto is the most obvious example. It's thanks to not having his thoughts occupied by his father and letting them rule his actions and mindset, even if just to piss his dad off, that Shouto is able to grow. UA and his classmates give him that, he's given a space and time to develop as a person and find out who he is and who he wants to be. Bouncing off his classmates and interacting with people his own age as equals helped him.
It's a big part of Shouto's character that he thinks about his decisions thoroughly and what he wants to do. And he's able to do this because he is given the time and space to do so. It's not explicitly stated, but I think moving to the dorms helped him a lot with this. Shouto is no longer at risk of interacting with his father everyday, letting Shouto distance himself and decide how he feels about his father, being his son, and his ow quirk, without his abuser there to influence him.
Tumblr media
I think this page best shows what a bad influence Endeavour can be on Shouto's mind. Shouto was calm before this, just trying to get to his match and not engaging, but his worsening mental state is called to attention the longer Endeavour talks. Keep in mind this match and moving to the dorms happens long before Enji decides to be a better parent when he realises becoming No.1 wasn't satisfying.
Shouto had not even given Enji his contact information before this and Enji had to get it from Fuyumi(a breach of boundary most definitely, but we don't know Shouto's reaction to this). Shouto doesn't even reply to his fathers incessant messaging until he himself needs something from him, and it's from Endeavour the hero, not Enji the father.
Shouto's development is gradual, but noticeable, and never really stops happening. Even now in the manga he's not finished his arc. But that's what made it very satisfying to watch him grow and find what kind of hero he wants to be.
I think it's worth noting that no one tells Shouto he should go visit his mother. Neither does anyone tell him he should try and talk to his siblings. How Shouto got started on properly talking to them is unknown, but it's clear it's on his terms, and because he wants to. Visiting Rei and reconnecting with her is something Shouto decided himself, and he goes to see her when he can and writes to her. How these visits go are never shown, but it's clear both of them want to connect again, and that both Rei and Shouto are in good places to actually do so in a healthy way.
Rei being in a good place is very important for this, and she is because she has been getting help and been away from the source of her distress and breakdown. When we see Rei out of a flashback, she's calm. She even seems happy, smiling with her children. Happy Shouto is keeping in touch with her through letters despite being so busy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rei was in dire need of getting away, that is obvious when you read the flashbacks. Her worsening mental health and situation ended up hurting not only her, but her children, especially Touya and Shouto. And she's been getting help and getting better since. At this point, she hasn't seen Enji since she was admitted to the hospital. Thanks to all that, Rei has been able to better process her trauma, what went on in their family, and her part in it, and she can face it. Rei, unlike Enji, is open about scarring Shouto, how she couldn't reach Touya and ultimately failed him as a mother.
We don't know a lot about Natsuo, but in his character profile, it's stated that thanks to Fuyumi, he was able to make the decision to go to college. It's said he spends a lot of time away from home and Fuyumi teases him about not keeping in contact enough. For Natsuo, who was one of the 'worthless' children of the house along with Fuyumi, going to college, making friends and getting a girlfriend, probably did wonders for him.
Tumblr media
Natsuo is very upfront about his dislike for Enji, and his refusal to ever forgive him for what he's done. He's taken up the role of holding Enji responsible for his actions after Touya was no longer able to. I think it's pretty clear what Natsuo would like to do is go no-contact with Enji, but he doesn't want to hurt Fuyumi's feelings, so he goes to the family dinners where he has to sit in Enji's presence anyway. Though we still see him stand up and leave sometimes because he can't stand to be in the same room as his father. Natsuo getting up and leaving is, I think, the mature thing to do. He's looking out for himself.
So, where the heck am I going with this? Basically, I want Dabi, Touya, to be given the time and space to decide himself what kind of relationship he wants to have with his family, every single one, in the same way the others have.
Touya up to the point of his death had his life defined by decisions made for him or things happening out of his control. His life after his death were dedicated to one day kill his father, with the heavy implication he has no plan to get out of that confrontation alive.
Tumblr media
You could say Dabi has no identity outside of the Todoroki family, outside of killing Endeavour and getting revenge for himself because no one else ever would. He was born, raised and groomed to be Enji's successor and the next number one, only to have that ripped away from him and expected to just, deal with that and move on, when he had no tools or methods to do that. Touya had no identity outside of being Enji's successor because that wasn't how he was raised. In his mind, he had no worth outside of that.
He was scapegoated by his family for most of his time living with them, and he might not even remember what being with them without being treated as the source of all the problems in the family is like. He went back home and thought they continued on as if he never died. And while that might not be fully true, just telling him that isn't going to magically absolve and fix the damage that left him with.
Throwing him right back into the family, with or without Enji involved, when the rest of the Todoroki's doesn't even know how to treat him now either, could end up really badly.
Especially when they still appear to lean into Touya being the problem. Dabi is the problem for acting out and "involving unrelated people in family matters" as Shouto so eloquently put it(not word for word don't shoot me), when Dabi wanted society to hold Enji accountable for his actions. They still say Dabi needs to be stopped, not saved.
At this point of the arc, Dabi is expecting to die, and he'll have to deal with the fact he's still alive after all this. I don't think he's gonna have the mental strenght to reconnect with the family he hasn't seen for years, not to mention we don't know if Dabi believes they even want him around or ever truly loved him. What does he think of them? We don't know, and chances are big he doesn't know either.
And that's why, I think a timeskip is one of the absolute best ways MHA can end, with time to see, years later, how all the characters are doing. And for the Todoroki's, it could mean Dabi has gotten time by himself to heal, to find out who he is outside of being a Todoroki, outside of being Enji's son, the failed experiment, his own avenger, and deciding on his terms how they should finally meet and talk and what kind of relationship he wants to have with them, if any at all.
It would also give the rest of them the time to once again process Touya's death, Dabi's existence, the fact their brother and child is alive once more and what that means to them individually. It's clear Touya's death was a big open wound for the family even years later, and if it wasn't still bleeding it definitely was after Dabi revealed himself, and that shits messy to deal with.
Then, we can have them meet at a dinner table. Maybe even have it be a picnic or something. When Dabi, Touya, is in a better place, because he was given the time and space to get better and finally decide for himself what he wants to do. It's the very least he's owed.

I mean Enji cares about Shouto in his own way, so he at least pays attention to when he comes up in the news. So when the question is asked and the class gives the responses, how would Enji react?
I say he just grumbles about "how the lava shark petting zoo was a good family outing until that happened".
So by the time those interviews are happening this is like. Post-Enji working on his hot mess of mental health.
He'd have. Mixed feelings on it?
Because on one hand he does want to own up to his mistakes, but on the other hand he respects that Shoto doesn't exactly want to share his trauma with millions of strangers. I think he's mostly grateful because while Enji blames himself for what happened as he should've done more before it got that far, it was Rei who actually did the whole thing while he was nowhere near the situation, and a lot of people would blame her for it regardless of the parts he played.
But also the explainations like the lava sharks are just so absolutely out there that he knows most people aren't going to take it seriously as a reflection on him.

We know Dabi has been stopped but Toya's heart has yet to be saved. Outside the Toga theory of her helping the Todorokis, what will the family be able to do? because Shoto has passed out and he seems to be the only one who could reach his heart.
I also have a question regarding how Toya is even alive and how badly burnt is Endeavor? he seems like he has third-degree burns
Let’s start with your second question, because that’s an easier answer. Toya is alive because Horikoshi wants him to be. Toya burned to a crisp before and survived (albeit it took 3 years in a coma and some AFO/Ujiko intervention). Also, a walking, talking skeleton isn’t the most outrageous thing we’ve seen in a manga where the dead can be completely reanimated and quirks can bend the laws of thermonuclear physics. Enji is badly burned, but he had massive burns after the Hood fight and the PLF war too. His current burns seem worse but I imagine he will heal fine, just as he has done before. Pretty sure Enji wont regrow an arm though. Toya probably won’t either, but he might depending on if & how fast he can heal (he’s already got an eyeball open).
As for what the family can do, there are lots of ways this could go. While Shoto understands his brother best, he’s not the ONLY one who can reach Toya’s heart. This is all guessing and tossing out ideas — I’m clearly not in Horikoshi’s head — so here are some possibilities (certainly not the ONLY possibilities):
AFO gets past All Might and everyone will have to converge at UA with AFO, Shigaraki, and Izuku. If it’s an all hands on deck scramble, I can see Enji asking Toya to help, and Rei telling Toya this is what he always wanted (like how Inko apologized to Izuku). Then all those robots can zoom to UA.
Natsuo said, “All that awaits us is pure hell,” and he’s right it won’t be easy, but if Rei and Fuyumi go to Toya’s side and show him they love him and are glad he’s alive, I can see Natsuo coming around. (Maybe Enji even thanks Rei for icing his fireball so Toya could live.) I think Natsuo giving Toya positive attention would mean a lot to Toya.
Or maybe Natsuo, with his medical knowledge, revives Shoto? This seems straightforward but idk because so many of the 1A kids are out of commission (see last bullet point below).
Based on 391 leaks, Hawks is standing in response to hearing the Sad Man’s Parade decimate the heroes on the ground. He knows he’s the root cause, and he knows he owes an apology to Himiko and Toya. It could be Hawks and Toya that help Toga and not the other way around.
Or maybe Hawks just goes to see if his surrogate father Enji is alive and ends up butting into the Todofam business.
We know a vestige battle is coming — Shoto, Bakugo, Tokoyami, Iida, and Mina are down. So is Machia. Toya and Enji are badly injured. But they all have a chance to show each other their past (from their POV) in the vestige world, like how Yoichi showed Izuku snippets of his past with AFO. When AFO is on the ropes he may think he’s better off in the vestige world that he (mostly) controls, but what he actually does is accidentally give everyone a chance to understand each other. This is basically an expanded variant of the “Izuku and Tomura share memories because Horikoshi loves Akira” theory.

I recently read @siflshonen 's meta on the Todoroki family, and I want to ask, do you think Dabi is not just mad about his abandonment and neglect but his birthright being taken away ? Do you mean birthright about following/inheriting his father's legacy or rather the familial acknowledgment, responsibilities, and respect as the firstborn son?
I feel that had his father simply acknowledged his importance and existence for who he was, Toya would be so...insane. The inbreeding doesn't help, and Rei's sense of family duty seems to be what he got from her aside from ice abilities.
I feel like it's tied IN with all that. And like the ...a cultural part is seeing them as separate issues, I guess. Touya's birthright being denied is a big clear sign he is rejected and that his father wants nothing to do with him and has nothing for him. So I do lean towards both the legacy and the acknowledgement, responsibilities, and ultimately life path as a first son.
Enji, as I've said a few times, is cowardly. If he doesn't know how to do it in the realm of heroism, he won't and that's what happened with Touya. He didn't know how to be an actual father and got too scared of failure to actually try. If he had somehow involved Touya in anything else, if he had spent time with him outside of heroism, just made it clear he still loved him and etc, we would not be here.
So to sum it up - I think the first born position stuff is simply just what gives Touya's grief and sense of abandonment greater heft. It's not just that Enji stopped paying attention, he rejected him as a son completely and I think Touya's descent into madness makes a little more sense when you view it from that lens.

This continued emphasis on rei being partially at fault, honestly hori should’ve made it so that she actually was, whether out of naivety or upbringing. A mistake on her part rather than a position she was forced into.
I mean, I think Hori could have written things better in that regard, but even with how things stand I don't think Rei isn't partially to blame for what happened to Touya.
Yes, Rei was pushed into marriage by her family. They wanted her married and it'd have been extremely hard for her to go against them. Hori could have been better at conveying Rei's thoughts about the Quirk aspect of the marriage with Enji better, but given the info we got on the Himura's it's easy to assume that wasn't it wasn't an issue for her. She herself had been born for the purpose of carrying on her family's legacy so idk why she'd find Enji's choice to have kids for the same purpose upsetting/wrong.
But the story isn't really saying Rei's at fault because of her pressured choice to marry Enji, but instead her treatment of Touya afterwards. Even if we say she had no choice in getting married or having kids after Fuyumi, she still could have been more attentive to Touya and she wasn't.
I don't think it was out of malice or that it makes her a terrible person. She was stressed and even with help from the housekeeper raising kids is hard, especially when your husband does nothing to help and is getting actively more abusive. Yet, that doesn't mean Rei did everything she could for Touya.
We know from Shoto's memories how hard Rei fought for him and how much she dotted on him. We don't see this kind of care given to Touya. She tries to talk to him once, years after the issue with his Quirk was found, and gives up as soon as he yells at her. We see him with Fuyumi when they are still quite young, probably pretty close to when he was told to stop training, and Rei is no where. She's also not present when Touya begs Enji to train him right after they learn he burns himself.
Yes, she tells Enji it would be cruel to have more children to essentially break his spirit, but gives no other solution to the major issue of Touya's self harm. She doesn't ask for more time to try and talk to Touya and work with him on his problems. Nor does she try to get Enji to spend time with him outside of training.
We know Touya went out a lot as a child to train in the forest, probably as young as ten--this is a long standing issue that neither parent did anything about until Touya tries to attack Shoto. After Touya goes after Shoto, Enji tells Rei he hired help, but he expects her to watch Touya herself. This is unfair, he should definitely be helping to, but we know from Shoto's flashbacks that she instead spent most of her time with him, not Touya.
A lot of the issues with Touya was that both his parents considered him the other's problem. Rei tells Enji that Touya just wants Enji's to see him, but also doesn't spend any time with him either. Neither of them knew what to say to him and so they mostly ignored him until he burned himself bad enough they fought about it and never ended up actually fixing anything or doing better. They both decided they couldn't help Touya so neither of them even tried past half-hearted attempts they quickly gave up on when they didn't immediately get results.
Yes, the situation was difficult and Enji is more to blame, but Rei did not help in any meaningful way even before she was close to her mental break down. There was a fire in their house and they both ignored it or thought the other should put it out. That's what Rei is apologizing to Touya for, ignoring him the same way Enji did.

Completed One-Shots: Day 1: Izuku Midoriya x Ochaco Uraraka Day 2: Denki Kaminari x Kyoka Jiro Day 3: Enji Todoroki x Rei Todoroki
Frosty Feathers
It started as a fling, if even that. Hawks wanted more information about the number one hero before he started working with the man. What better way than to get close to his kids? He offered Shoto an internship but the kid turned him down. He tried to talk to Natsuo “in passing” but the guy had no interest in talking to heroes whatsoever. Touya, Endeavor’s oldest, was dead. And his wife was in a mental hospital…interesting but it kept him from approaching her. So that just left him with Fuyumi. That was fine, girls loved to talk and he was an attractive young man. He should be able to learn everything he needed from her.
So Hawks started focusing his research on Fuyumi. She was a teacher, frequented a cheap coffee place every morning on the way to work, and she was super friendly to everyone on her morning and after-school routines. She appeared to be the active housekeeper of the Todoroki household too, if the grocery bags and cleaning items she bought were anything to go by. She could work for him, this was going to be too easy!
He “bumped” into her one late afternoon at the store. She was buying supplies for her class. He helped her carry the armload to the register, paid for her (even though neither of them were hurting financially), walked her to her car and held the door for her like a gentleman. All the while, he rambled about how he thought teachers were underpaid and underappreciated.
And Fuyumi soaked it in. She melted at the affection, he could see her eyes softening, her shoulders relaxing. She laughed and smiled and conversed with him, sighing sadly when they made it back to her car and she thought their time together was near an end. By his observations, she was starved for attention but there was also something else. Something he couldn’t place his finger on. He knew it was risky, but he invited her out for coffee that weekend. In a heartbeat, she agreed.
They were just supposed to be friends. Hawks never intended for anything more. They went out for coffee and he was able to determine what the something was that he couldn’t place earlier in the week. For as much as loved and cared for her father, she also resented him for some reason and didn’t want to be defined as “Endeavor’s daughter.” Her coworkers were nice enough and the people she saw on a day-to-day basis were friendly but none actually made an effort to be friends with her simply because she was a Todoroki. So the fact that he talked to her after bumping into her and offered to take her out for coffee “just to talk” swept her off her feet.
He was planning to let her down gently after he started working with Endeavor, planned on telling her that work was going to keep him away and they wouldn’t be able to meet for a while. He would fade out of her life and she would be none the wiser. That’s what he planned on anyway, reality had a far different outcome. The outcome where he felt bad about disappearing so he sent her flowers at work, because he knew she’d be embarrassed if he sent them to her home. The outcome where he felt guilty about using her so he followed her to make sure she was okay…until she caught him in the act.
She had the eyes of a huntress when she stared at him from afar. She walked into a back alley and he followed because, despite being a hero, he was scared of the look in her eyes. He wasn’t ready when she fisted his shirt and slammed him into the brick wall behind him, smirking as she casually mentioned that she had her father teach her self-defense. No wonder she pinned him so easily! And then she kissed him, soft lips and tongue exploring his chafed, wind-burnt lips. Pressed against him as she was, soft hips, soft boobs, soft everything but with so much fiery intensity that he could scarcely believe she was the same Fuyumi.
When she pulled away, she was back. Eyes full of uncertainty but still holding hope. “Stay with me.” Her small voice begged and in his heart he couldn’t find it in him to turn away.
So he went with her. Followed her home, went in Endeavor’s house, and slept in Endeavor’s daughter’s bed. He wasn’t really concerned about being caught. He knew Endeavor was working that night and Natsuo wouldn’t disturb his sister, Shoto was at UA and her mother was in a hospital. It did feel strange though, to sleep in another hero’s house without them knowing.
Hawks wasn’t sure that Fuyumi was actually into him. Sure they had sex and sure they found each other attractive but they weren’t really serious. Sometimes they talked, sometimes they fucked. Fuyumi wasn’t the first girl he’d ever slept with and Hawks wasn’t the first guy she’d ever slept with. Besides, he hadn’t even told her his real name…not that it mattered. He went by Hawks so often that sometimes he thought that was his real name.
And then…the hospital…the fight with Shigaraki, the discovery of One for All and the truth behind Dabi’s origin, and the horrors that Hawks didn’t know had occurred within the Todoroki household. He knew it had never been sunshine, but damn… He wasn’t sure if he felt worse for Endeavor or his family, the abuser and the victims were being put in the spotlight and interrogated by the media.
Fuyumi called and despite his exhaustion and despite almost losing his wings, Hawks went to her. She held him so carefully, ran hands through his hair, hummed pretty little songs, wept into his chest and dampened his bandages. She was so nervous, so scared. He didn’t think he meant that much to her. They’d discussed this, they weren’t really a thing. They were just using each other. Still, he reached to comfort her. She batted him away.
“I-I don’t know how,” She started nervously, sucking in an anxious breath, “but I’m pregnant. You’re the only person I’ve slept with…”
Well, shit! The sky was literally falling and now this. Guess he should have expected it. Condoms weren’t 100% effective…still, he kind of expected her to be on a pill or something. In hindsight, maybe he should have clarified that. He wasn’t sure what to say to her either. They’d established that they weren’t serious, there was no obligation for him to stay, but she was clearly attached…and maybe he was too? Knowing that a part of him was growing in her… Fuck! It was terrifying and exhilarating! His father had never really been present and her father had kind of screwed stuff up, it would be kind of poetic if he wasn’t involved at all…but he didn’t want to be.
He didn’t think Fuyumi needed a serious response. She needed him. So in a truly Hawks fashion, he smirked and offered her a witty, “I guess I better not die then.” If looks could kill, she would have murdered him then but his lighthearted demeanor seemed to cheer her up.
They heard the door open but neither were afraid. They knew Endeavor didn’t disturb his kids when their doors were closed. Still, Hawks rose from the bed and walked toward the door. Fuyumi eyed him curiously.
“Well…I think I’m going to go fill your dad in. He should know what he’s fighting for. Wish me luck!” He marched out the door with a goofy salute and Fuyumi giggled at the surprised “what the-” that came from her father’s mouth in the other room.
Her amusement was short lived as another voice followed up in a tone that told her she was in trouble, regardless of her age and being able to make her own decisions. Her mother’s voice was stern and demanding, “Fuyumi!” Crap! Dad wasn’t the one they really had to worry about…her mother was a whole other storm!
~ flash back ~
(the night of their child’s conception)
The room was hot and smelled like sex, stuffy almost. Hawks and Fuyumi were both drenched in sweat and each other’s sex. Well, Hawks was drenched in her sex. Hawk’s stuff was being poured into condoms. He’d been through two already and was on his third. Fuyumi really could milk him for everything he was worth!
And speaking of milk…two lovely, thick and bouncy boobs were dangling in front of his face as she rode him. Soft, squishy, and cool to the touch despite the sweat that beaded on her skin. Beautiful, bouncy boobs. Pretty pink little nipples pebbled in front of him, making his mouth water as they were just out of his tongue’s reach.
Fuyumi had set a hard pace in her efforts to cum, an accomplishment she had yet to achieve. She’d already pulled two loads out of him, pausing to change condoms afterwards to avoid rips that could potentially get her pregnant. But she had yet to get her own release. Her face looked pained as she humped him, riding him like a horse across a wide open plain. She slowed to a stop just short of his third orgasm.
“I-I’m sorry,” She panted breathlessly, “I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m close, I just can’t…I don’t know why. I keep getting close and then I lose it.”
Hawks reached a hand up to caress her face. He usually let her take control because she liked to ride him, and if he was being honest he quite liked to be ridden. It pinned his wings beneath him, forced him to stay still, and the view of the big bouncing tits in front of him made it all that much more worth it! But it didn’t seem like that was going to cut it for Fuyumi today. No problem, he was an ambidextrous man and he lived to please.
He slid his one hand from her face to the back of her neck, the other wrapped around her back and pulled her close. Then he flipped them, pushing her into the blankets. He used his feather’s to pin her in place, arms over her head, legs pushed up and spread as far and wide as they could go. One hand rested next to her side, supporting his weight, and the other wrapped around her neck. He didn’t really squeeze, more like held, applying just enough pressure to give a threatening warning.
“Fucking bitch!” He teased, ruthless eyes gazing down into her teary eyes and sending shivers down her spine. He could feel her clench around him at the way he spoke to her. “Use my cock, make me cum like that and then can’t even be bothered to cum herself! Just a needy little slut aren’t you? Need me to breed you? Knock you up like the sexy little whore you are?” He leaned in closer and whispered in her ear, nibbling on her lobe and down her neck afterwards. He was careful not to leave any marks because they didn’t want people to know, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t tease her sensitive skin a little.
“Ha-Ha-Hawks!” She moaned, “Y-yes! I-I’m y-your d-d-ir-ty little, s-sexy, s-slutty b-b-itch! B-breed me! P-please! I need more!”
He was happy to give it! Going as hard and as fast as he could manage, flicking her nipples with his feathers. He felt himself getting close and nipped at her lip. “You better fucking cum! You better fucking cum or else your not cumming at all!” He commanded with a growl. “You ready baby? You want my fucking cum?”
“Yes! Yes! I want it!” She nodded desperately. He squeezed her neck a little tighter and grinned when her pussy clenched tighter.
“Good girl! Good girl! You’re gonna cum in three…” His hips started to stutter but he kept going. “Two…” She whined and writhed under him, twitching and shaking like she was being shocked. She was desperate and he was close, this had to work! “One!” He grunted, plunging as deep as he could go and rocking into her as he rode out his final orgasm. He was so blissed out by the feeling that he forgot to pay attention to her.
He collapsed on top of her, cock going limp inside her as he caught his breath and released her from his feathers. When he could finally think straight again, he pulled out and looked at her questioningly. “Did you cum? You felt so good I got distracted.”
Fuyumi nodded, eyes cloudy. She looked like how he felt, like he’d just run a marathon. Did she cum that hard? He shrugged, tugging the condom off and tossing it in the trash bin on his way to the bathroom for a cloth to clean her up with. Once they were both mostly clean, Hawks slipped back into the bed for cuddles.
“We should do that more often.” Fuyumi sighed in content. “I think I like dirty talk.”
“Yes ma’am! My icey little sex queen.” Hawks teased lightly, kissing her forehead before pulling back with a frown. He needed to remember to keep this casual. Don’t get attached.
When Fuyumi woke the next morning, Hawks was already gone but that didn’t really surprise her. They weren’t really serious, though she wouldn’t mind if they were something more. He was attractive and seemed to be a good man. She stretched and made her way to the bathroom, glancing at the trash bin to see if it needed emptied as she relieved herself. It didn’t register then what she was actually looking at, her brain just assumed it was lotion. Until thirty minutes later when she was remembering her passionate night over breakfast and it hit her. She hadn’t put any lotion in the trashcan! She ran back to the bathroom and checked…the cum had leaked out of the condom…but where? It was tied off…surely it didn’t… She took a shaky breath to calm herself. It probably just ripped when he was taking it off. And even if a little did get inside her, she was fairly certain she was outside of the fertile window. It would be fine!
Or at least that’s what she told herself until she missed her period…and the next one…and then the doctor told her otherwise. Well…shit!

Hey  so,  details  for  Toya's  Pro  Hero  AU.  I'm  still  fleshing  some  things  out  so  some  things  MIGHT  change  slightly  as  I  think  more  on  em  but  for  the  most  part  heres  the  info  I've  got  down. This  AU  is  heavily  based  on  some  cute  Dabihawks  art  Mika  and  me  love  so  Hawks  ( @fiercewinged ) is  a  big  part  of  it,  as  well  as  my  own  personal  theories/headcanons  about  what  was  actually  going  on  with  Toya's  quirk  before  his  accident  on  Sekoto  peak.
Quirk  details:  In  canon,  "pale"  or  "blue"  flame  allows  Dabi  to  produce  white  hot  flames  from  his  body.  As  the  name  suggests,  these  flames  are  whitish/blue  in  colour  and  burn  far  hotter  than  ordinary  flames,  even  able  to  outmatch  those  of  Endeavors. There  seemed  to  be  no  limit  of  how  hot  Dabi’s  flames  can  burn  and  they  are  directly  influenced  by  his  emotions.  However, as  a  child  Toya's  body  mysteriously  began  to  develop his mother's constitution for handling freezing  cold  temperatures,  rather  than his father's  resistance to burning  hot  ones,  resulting  in  his  flames  begining to burn  him.       As  far  as  my  headcanons  go,  Dabi’s  “pale  flame”  is  indeed  a  pale  shadow  of  its  true  self  due  to  Dabi’s  premature  “death” /  total  destruction  of  his  body  at  13.  As  a  result  of  this  tragedy  his  quirk  never  got  to  develop  into  its  true  form  as  it  had  been  gradually  doing  before  hand.  “Glacial  Inferno”  is  the  name  given  to  Toya’s  real  quirk  which  is  a  combination  of  his  father’s  powerful  fire  power  and  his  mother’s  ability  to  coat  her  body  in  frost. These  aspects  of  Toya’s  body  work  together  to create  an  equilibrium,  allowing  Toya  to  use  his  powerful  fire  while  coating  his  body  in  protective  frost  to  avoid  burning  himself.      Unlike  Shoto,  Toya  cannot  use  his  ice  to  battle. Again  he  can  only  use  it  to  coat  his  extremities  in  a  layer  of  strong glaze  to  insulate  his  body  against  his  flames. Ultimately,  Toya  is  exactly  what  his  father  dreamed  of:  a  child  who  could  wield  his  intense  flames,  with  a  "self-cooling"  body  to  negate  his  drawback  of  overheating.  This is based heavily on methane clathrate, aka "Fire Ice."
As  result,  as  far  as  this  AU  goes,  it  typically  follows  my  Vigilante  AU background up  until  Toya  recovers  from  his  burns.  In  that  AU  Toya's  accident  on  Sekoto  peak  still  occurs  but  its  not  as  severe  due  to  the  sudden  activation  of  Toya's  ice.  It  comes  to  light  here  that  Toya's  quirk  isn't  exactly  what  it  seemed as  it  would  appear  that  Toya  did  have  Rei's  frost  all  along.  Enji,  deeply  conflicted  by  this  new  infomation,  decides  to  allow  Toya  to  attempt  to  attend  UA.  His  enterence  exam  winds  up  in  him  grabbing  the  attention  of  the  commission  who  decide  they  would  like  to  personally  train  Toya  instead.
While  Toya  initially  refuses   he  speaks  to  Enji  and  Enji  tells  him  that  this  is  a  great  honor  to  be  taken  on  personally  by  the  Hero  Commission  itself,  and,  realizing  this  appears  to  be  something  his  father  approves  of  tremendously  he  accepts,  particularly  believing  that  Enji  wouldn't  be  able  to  make  time  for  him  when  he  had  been  so  busy  with  Shoto  and  Toya  saw  this  as  a  way  to  achieve  his  father's  attention  and  approval  without  directly  competing  with  Shoto.  ●  Toya  winds  up  one  of  the  commissions  little  soldiers  along  side  Keigo  Takami.  The  two  of  them  tend  to  function  as  a  team  and  share  a  billboard  spot  as  top  heroes.  Toya's  hero  name  is  most  likely  going  to  be  Cryoflare.  ●  I  feel  like  this  AU  would  actually  alter  Enji's  perceptions  and  he'd  probably  ease  up  on  Shoto  as  a  result  and  his  trying  to  be  a  good  dad  era  would  come  into  play  much  sooner  than  All  Might's  retirement.  ●  The  song  Cats  in  the  Cradle  is  very  much  the  vibe  of  Enji  and  Toya's  relationship  in  this  AU.  I'll  possibly  elaborate  at  a  later  date  but  for  now  the  ADHD  is  kicking  in  so  if  you  know,  you  know !
