Well here it is. My fanfic. This is just chapter one there will be more to come.

First things first, this is an alternate universe fanfic. My universe. Some things will be similar to the canon storyline and others wont. This fic is about Javert and his overall character and developing that character in a way that I would have liked to have sene done in ‘The Brick’. I think Hugo did him dirty in numerous ways. So this is my take on Javert, his life and the possibilities for things he didn’t experience in the book. The first few chapters will be slow burn as I introduce you to a couple of new characters and allow things to develop from there. Who knows where this story will go in the future, but I have decided that instead of making it a one-shot I’m going to be continuing it and hopefully soon adding some illustration to it as well. Please note all places (inn’s, taverns, hotels, etc) are completely fictional with names made up by me because I havent had time to research everything yet and I’m still reading ‘The Brick’. My AU Javert will be based on Quastvert (particularly his image)

Trigger Warnings: This story as it unfolds (as previously stated more chapters will be added to this specific fanfic) will contain descriptions of a sexual nature, and descriptions of violent crime. It will also allude to mental health issues. Read at your own risk. I’d say this fanfic is not suitable for anyone below the age of 16. Also this is my very first fanfic so feedback is important to me.

Javert: Out of The Shadows

Chapter 1

It had been a long day, longer than it should have been, stressful and unpleasant. After finishing his shift, Inspector Javert made his way home, changed out of his uniform and into less formal attire and, having taken into consideration advice that was offered by a few of his colleagues, he decided to go out and try socialising once again. he had attempted to a couple of time previously after he got a bit of rubbing from two junior officers about his lack of a social life, wife, girlfriend, family and even friends. He had always ignoreed his collleagues when theysuggested he ‘get out more’. he had never had any interest in mixing with society. But lately he had begun to relaise how little he had in his life, besides his job his life most certainly lacked all of the things his colleagues had mentioned. Relationships had always been a no,no for him. He saw women and emotional attachment as inconvenient, however he had never experienced these things so how could he possibly know?

A week or so prior he had met a woman in Le Chien Noir, a tavern where he had stopped by and indulged in one or two drinks. Not much of a drinker of alcohol it had taken him almost 4 hours to drink 2 glasses of red wine and the next morning he had awoken with a headache. His new lady friend, although he had only seen her once since meeting her was called Catherine or Cathy as she preferred to be called. she was an attractive 38 year old widow who had moved back to Paris from Boulogne-sur-Mer 2 years after her husbands death after finally being able to sell their properties and close up his estate. Catherine had no children due to her husbands propensity for violence having afflicted 4 miscarriages. 3 years prior to moving home her husband had murdered his business partner and tried to flee France. Luckily he was caught at Calais and apprehended. From there he was taken to jail, but rather than take accountability for his crimes and face the likelihood of the death penalty, he had hung himself. Uncomfortable living in Boulogne-sur-Mer Catherine returned to Paries and a neighbourhood not too far from where she grew up to start her life over.

On the night they he met her, Javert had been almost instantly captivated by Cathy, she was vivacious, fun and had a wonderful sense of humour. She had blue eyes and dark brown hair, she was short, around 5 feet in height, and voluptuous. But she had no edge to her, she was polite, well manner, kind and attentive to the various customers in the tavern. On and off throught that evening they had talked and he had enjoyed their conversation. Cathy had even managed to amuse him more than once and once he had relaxed a little he had even managed to smile. He had been able to tell that she had been curious about him and no doubt the parisian grapevine had provided plenty of tid bits of information about him and his unusual lifestyle.

Javert’s life beyond his work as a police officer was quiet solitary. With no family to visit him or vice versa and no real friends to socialise with and not to mention an aversion to getting to involved in society generally, he was not used to being out in public, drinking in taverns and fratinising with the ladies who worked in them. He just wasn’t comfortable in these situations and preferred to be alone. Though he occasionally admitted, only to himself, mind, that he did get lonely and yearned for companionship of some kind. He had never had a relationship, never courted in his youth, though he did flirt with girls back then as he got older and more devoted to his work he decided those kind of distractions were something he didn’t need. So he committed himself to his work, to the law and allowed himself no time for pleasure or company of any kind. Not even a pet dog or cat.

When Cathy had finished her shift that night, Javert, who had just finished his drink to a little plunge into the uknown and offered to walk her home. Cathy had happily accepted his offer so they walked into the night towards Cathy’s home which was close to an area where a series of violent robberies had taken place in recent months. On top of that two women had been murdered on the route that led to Cathy’s neighbourhood. Cathy had been understanbly concerned about walking home alone and seemd glad to have the company of the normally distant and somewhat mysterious policeman.

On the way to Cathy’s home they had talked about the recent crimes in the area.

“I’m not a regular member of staff at the tavern, the owners, Pierre and Rose are friends of mine, I help them out when they are short staffed. It’s not fun, finishing a shift and having to walk home when the fastest route is on the exact street where two women have been murdered.” She said.

“I exepct not, but you need not worry, I’ll walk you to your door and as long as I’m not working and you don’t feel like I’m imposing, I can walk you home from the tavern when you have shifts there in future.” He replied.

“You surprise me Inspector. Everything I’ve hear about you is turning out to either be complete lies or only half truths.”

“How so?” Javert asked.

“Well town gossip states that you never go out, have no friends, no family and beyond your work your not interested in anything.” Cathy replied.

"Well, it is true that I have no family, I am unmarried and have never been married. My parents are dead and I have no ther family. It is also true that I don’t go out much if at all and when I do it’s usually to eat.“ He said.

“Yet you have, been to the tavern a few times in the past few weeks. Also you have been quite sociable, especially this evening. I’ve rather ejoyed talking to you.“

"The feeling is mutual Madame and I am glad to be able to make sure you get home safely.”

“So am I Inspector.”

“Please call me Javert.”

“Has the killer been found yet?” She asked

“Sadly and rather annoyingly, no he hasn’t. But we are searching for him.” He replied.

For a few moments they walked in silence and turning into the street where Cathy lived, he wondered whether or no he should ask her to go out with him. But what on earth would make him think she would want to.

They reached Cathy’s front door and she turned to him and asked

“Would you like to join me for a drink or some supper?”

He was a little taken aback and trying not to seem to eager he replied

“No, that is quite alright, I don’t expect you to go to any trouble. Besides, it is late, I’m sure your tired and would prefer to turn in for the night.” He was blushing and felt a bit of a dolt for turning down her offer.

“It’s no trouble at all, and you didn’t eat at the tavern this evening, I bet you’re hungry. Come on in.” She insisted, smiling.

Then she turned to open the door. As she walked into the house she found Eponine (Thenardier), who had been taking care of Cathy’s young neice while she was working, curled up asleep in a chair. Cathy gently woke her and queeried as to how things had been while she had been out and was pleased to hear that her niece, Chloe who was four years old had been well behaved and was fast asleep. Cathy paid Eponine and Eponine left to go home with arrangments made to take care Chloe again on Sunday afternoon/early evening.

Cathy handed Javert a bottle of wine while Cathy made some sandwiches for supper. Normally she would have a soup or a stew prepared and ready for heating up but she hadn’t had time to make either of those meals today because Pierre had sent is 12 year old son, Andre to give her a message that they were short staffed at the tavern. She had literally only had enough time to change her clothes, brush her hair and leave the house. Eponine had stayed overnight the night before so she was already there and happy to stay and look after Chloe for what was only supposed to be 4 hours but ended up being 8 hours because the tavern had been busy.

Javert and Cathy chatted well into the night. Luckily, neither of them wer eworking the next day and by the time Javert got ready to go home, Cathy had already decided she had wanted him to stay. But before she could ask him, on reaching the door and bidding her goodnight he turned around and why he did it, he had no idea, but he had the urge to touch her, even to kiss her, and without thinking he gently stroked her cheek with the back off his fingers, and then again with the palm of his hand, wondering as he did this if he was going to get his face slapped for pushing his luck. Cathy, stood there looking up at him. Her eyes met his and she placed her hand on top of his pressing it more firmly against her cheek. She then moved his hand a little, down towards her lips anf she kissed the palm of his hand. Needing no further encouragment, Javert gently took her face in both of his hands, leaned down and kissed her, softly and politely at first and then a little more passionately, she returned his kiss with a needy enthusiasm and he gathered her up in his arms and held her tight as he kissed her. When they ended their kiss, she reached up and placed her hand on his face with a pleading expression on her face she said softly.

“please stay with me.”

He wanted to, oh god he wanted to, at that moment he wanted all of the things he had never had or experienced. But a voice inside his head told him it was the wrong thing to do, that if he stayed with her he would be taking advantage of her even though she had asked him to stay. She asked again;

“Please, I’m not expecting anything form you. I’d just like you to stay with me and hold me.”

She couldn’t remeber that last time she had laid in bed with a man who was happy to hold her, show her any kind of affection or even make love to her. Her husband had been something of a savage beast. Everything he did was done with anger and haste as though he were doing it literally for his own satisfaction. He had never been loving or even caring for that matter and their marriage had been deeply unhappy. Their physical relationship was more often than not forced and brutal and she had dared not complain because he would beat her if she did. Violence was something he really liked, he enjoyed it other than that his only other pleasures were alcohol and money. When he killed himself in prison he she was glad that part of her life was over. Relieved that she could move on and make a life for herself elsewhere. She could not lie to anyone but not least to herself that she was glad her husband was gone. She didn’t miss him at all. The thought of anyone justing lying in bed with her and holding her made her happy, but after what had just happened, how she had felt when Javert held her and kissed her, she wanted more, and she wanted it from him. He had lit a flame in her that had long since burned itself out, and she had lit a flame in him that had never even existed.

Javert, now feeling guilty at the thought of leaving her alone relented and agreed to stay. vowinf to himself that he would behave like a gentleman and only hold her as she had asked him to. But he was not so sure that he could keep that vow. Cathy smiled and he retook his seat at the kitchen table, while Cathy washed their supper dishes and finished her glass of wine. After that she led him upstairs to the bedroom.

Eponine stood outside on the street deciding whether to go to the hovel she had been staying in with her mother and sister or whether to go and find her friends and spend the night in their company. She watched from across the street as Cathy’s house went dark. She had also taken a mental note that she had not seen the Inspector leave. Eponine decided to keep this information to herself, she liked Cathy and adored her niece, Chloe and did not want to cause problems as Cathy would often give her food and allow her to spend the night and on that night like an idiot, Eponine had told Cathy she had made arragements to spend the night with her mother and sister. It had been a lie, but in a way she was glad to not be in Cathy’s house this night even though nothing at all might have been happening, though she knew that thought was probably unlikely.

Cathy led Javert into her bedroom and lit a lamp then hung it on the hook on the wall. She left the bedroom for a brief moment to check on Chloe who was sleeping soundly. On returning to her bedroom she found Javert sitting on the bed looking a little unsure of himself and of what to do next. She closed the bedroom door and walked over to Javert, she could tell he was nervous. He opened his mouth to speak and she placed her finger on his lips, then, taking his face gently in her hands she leaned downa kissed him. He wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her body against him. Their kiss became more passionate, more urgent, as he slipped his tongue between he slightly parted lips and into her warm, moist mouth. His tongue stroked hers and hers in return, stroked his, they kissed deeper, harder and began to undress each other. She slipped his jacket over his shoulders and then removed his cravat. Frantically unbuttoning his shirt she brushed her lips across his face and then down passed his jaw, to his neck as he removed her blouse and unfastened her skirt allowing it to fall to the floor. With an even great sense of need and urgency she removed his undergarments and then started to unfasten his trousers. As her hand moved slowly over his groin she felt his manhood hardening. He broke off the kiss and pressed his face against her ample, curvaceous breasts.

They removed their shoes and he then took on the challenge of removing her corset. Though he had seen her a couple of time since then, both times he had been working and unable to spend time with her. This night he had paid little Gavroche Thenardier a little bit of money to find out whether or not Cathy was working at the Tavern. If she was not there he would go to her home and hope to be able to see her there. He met up with Gravroche who told him that Cathy was working in the tavern that night. So off he trudged to Le Chien Noir.

The tavern was busy again and he wasn’t comfortable in such crowded places. He looked through the window and spotted Cathy putting on her coat and saying goodbye to the other staff. He waited in the alley beside the tavern and as she left he stepped out in front of her almost scaring her into an early grave.

“Jesus Christ Javert! Why are you lurking around in the shadows like an old phantom?"

"I apologise Madame, I did not mean to frighten you, my intention was to surprise you though.” He responded.

“Surpise me eh?.” she said shaking her head. “That you most certainly did.”

“Are you alright?” He asked.

“Yes, I’m alright, just give me a moment while my heart works it’s way back into my chest. Have you come to walk me home again?"

"Yes. I’ve also brought some supper and wine if you’d like toshare it with me.”

“I’d love to.” She smiled and nodded.

Cathy took Javert’s arm and they set off walking back to her house.

“I also had an overwhelming desire to see you again, and spend more time with you. I like to get to know you better.” Javert said a little embarassed at how open he’d been in the moment but he felt so comfortable with her, he just couldn’t help blurting it out.

“I’d like to get to know you too Javert. Will you be spening the night with me again?"

"Would you like to me to?” He asked.

“Yes I would.”

“Then I shall stay with you again.” He replied with a knowing smile.

She smiled back at him, linked her arm through his and for a moment or two, leaned her head against his arm. she didn’t understand why the locals feared him. in many ways no different to any other man despite having chosen to live his life in mostly solitude with only his work to keep things interesting. But little did she know how complicated, interesting and multilayered he could be. They had discussed little of his past, his childhood or his life before he became a police officer. While to him it was very simple because that’s they way he had constructed his life to be. He had built it around a very basic, but flawed view of the world and humanity and also that he was not accustomed to letting people into his very private little world, or displaying his emotions and thoughts. But she would find out soon enough. The streets in Cathy’s neighbourhood were quiet as they reached her modest yet cosy home. Eponine had fallen asleep on the chair again. Unable to wake her, Cathy left her their as she and Javert went into the kitchen to partake of their supper and wine. They chatted quietly for an hour or so before discreetly making their way upstairs, leaving the ground floor rooms of the house in darkness. While Eponine and Chloe slept peacefully throughout the night, Javert and Cathy intensified their relationship even further.

home.

im homesick for a home i know not. my nights are spent dreaming of a land ill never know to escape a life thats gripping me too hard. i feel like im drowning but theres no water. too much oxygen fills my lungs. it burns.

sleep rarely soothes. when it does its interrupted by terrors. flashes i dont remember, just feelings. this home i crave has never fully known me. it claws at my peripheral. taunts me. warm hugs, full bellies. i got those. silent nights arent foreign. but the splashes of screams, the sting of punishment, the smell of what i only now know to be alcohol on the breath, even mild, chained that home just out of my reach. the hole in the wall haunts me. strangers invading my home to ask my too young brain abt what the walls who have ears hear, but wont tell. witnessing bile upon those same walls fills my nose with the memory of the stench. have you ever seen someone bleed from their pores? i have. i was 9. maybe 12. my brain protects me only as much as it can.

but i miss home. i miss those meals slightly burnt. sneaking a cookie before dinner. sauntering down to the basement for movie nights. ignoring the voices that travel up the stairs long after us wee ones went to bed. flipping the pillow over to forget the wetness that stained the case, my cheeks. waking up knowing we all heard it but will never discuss it.

i miss home. watching my dad play video games for hours. listening to my mom hum as she cleans the kitchen. feeling the rough carpet as cartoons play on the old box tv. i dont let my eyes wander to the wall at the bottom of the stairs. i know whats there. its an old dent. i dont imagine the night the front door was ripped open and footsteps stomped after the breeze threatening to come in. she came back. we're fine. for tonight.

i miss home. the covers are warm from their run in the dryer. my homework is done. my sister's fingers turn the page of a book. mine follow soon after. its quiet. i turn my music up when their door slams. the hushed hisses dont reach our room but the beats in my ears and the fantasy in my hands help to drown them out anyway. we all gather for a bedtime story in the end. tomorrow will come.

i miss home. a home i never actually got. a home my brain conjures up for me on the nights the blankets are cold. on the nights my heart feels numb and beatless.

i miss my dad. his hugs are still warm. his heartbeat is still my favourite sound in the world. i miss my mom. she still whistles quietly when she cleans. i see myself in her the most.

i miss my dad. hes visiting his girlfriend in one of the Las' out west.

i miss my mom. shes sleeping soundly next to a man who never witnessed our first steps. he has dogs though, those are cute.

i miss my parents. they were mine. they made me who i am. ill always love them.

my parents dont miss each other. dad still aches. mom feels free.

my parents still talk. its not abt dinner plans. its abt holiday plans. who gets whom, when this year. we're all in our 20s. it seems childish.

ive forgotten how to communicate. havent talked to dad since two nights ago. it was abt his own dads fight i unfortunately witnessed with his new wife. havent talked to mom in weeks. apparently my sister needed help with an application. shes sleeping in the room next to mine right now. my brother has a serious girlfriend. i feel like a kid when i contact him. ik nothing of the future he'll have. my older sister has a job lined up shes wanted for years in the line of work she has. idk what her title has been for any of them. i have a partner right now. idk what their major in school is. my best friend got married. i havent seen or talked to her since the wedding.

my other best friend, my newest one, who has only ever known me as rae, is the only one privy to my recent thoughts. those that plague my mind day and night that i hide behind a smile. hes the one i called at 4am when i felt myself slipping. hes the arm that grabbed me from that metaphorical ledge. i cant lose him. im scared though. if these thoughts are what will make him leave. if i tell him.

the last one left without a goodbye. it hurts seeing her social media. shes still happy while i cry when i think abt her. abt what i lost. bc of distance i tell myself.

i miss home. i miss naivety. innocence. freedom from responsibility.

its 7am right now. i miss home. home holds me at arms length. when will i reach it? will i reach it? do i have enough strength to even try?

oo yeah, the stark differences in eng fics on ao3 and those that i’ve read in websites like pixiv/ weibo/ lofter/ typesetters is a high-context asian subtle/implicit intimacy vs low-context western loud/explicit intimacy (1)

tho ,, i think the setting (character + environment + time) and the prompt (au? canon? romance? slice of life? epic?) play into it. i think the differences that exist between portrayals of intimacy by east asian authors and by western authors largely stem from cultural philosophy, which could make some things jarring to those unfamiliar with either

tbh i'm the type of person who, when reading lit abt supposedly asian characters, would appreciate the story more if it was also true to the characters' culture, and so i'd also like to see them experience and understand love the same way asians experience and understand love. but that's just me (i know there are diaspora who like to see other things), and that's also for a concept that's more for peaceful romance/character-centric settings. it’d be a different case if the story is plot-driven, or historical, or apocalyptic

i personally prefer the nuance of intimacy in pieces by east asians bc that's what i like to see and what i'm familiar with. but either way, i don't mind the differences exist. it just means that there's a variety to all of our experiences. as long as it's written into the narrative in an organic manner, it will still feel like a love i can appreciate, whether romantic or platonic or anything in between.

the whiplash was intense when i opened a fic bc i was curious or bored (or both rly) and then boom, untagged daddy kink. SHSHS it makes me giggle sumtimes, since he’s a jpnese character, when it comes to gojou, bc personally i just can't imagine him calling anyone any kind of petname unless it means to fuck with them,,, like, for eg, in stsg fic i just can't vibe with gojou calling suguru anything but his name, but that's just me and largely the way i interpret their characters, and it's just nice to know that all the authors of jp/cn/kr fic i've read before feel the same way more or less ,, but that's it HSJJSJS if someone else decides they want gojou calling suguru this or that, then that's like, alright. that's what they want to write and see, yk, and there's nothing wrong with that, i'll just swerve respectfully lmao

also for pdas,, i think it definitely depends on the age of the couple and the setting

like, if they're a campus couple, pda is pretty common. handholding, picking each other up from class, study dates in the library/courtyard/cafe, going to drinking parties together, that sort of thing.

the most common petname i've heard cn campus couples use is "baobao/baobei" (寶寶/寶貝), which means precious/baby/darling. for jp couples, tbrh i've never heard anything ,, my friends and cousins don't use petnames either

honestly,,, if u're cn/jp and u're dating someone ur age or younger, u'd probs call them by their given name or a nickname with an affectionate prefix/suffix (小，阿，兒 etc or the norm ちゃん, くん, さん, 先輩/ 輩先 suffix) and ig u could call that a petname. if u're dating someone older than u, then u'd call them (insert name)-san or senpai/jie/ge if u and they want, and that would show how close u are. some ppl date and call each other by their full names, too, and even with honourifics. and some ppl use just their partner's given names.

for kr,, idk much but i think it’s usually 이,야,아 etc and noona/oppa/unni/hyung ????

for older couples, like married couples or people who are working, pda tends to lean towards petnames. "sweetheart", "honey", "wife/husband", that sort of thing. if they're parents, they'd probably call each other "dad", "mum" (I NEVER HEARD MY OWN PARENTS NAME LEAVING THEIR LIPS WHEN THEY ADDRESS THE OTHER)

but if its pda like,, making out in public, i don't think it's very common. i've never seen it shhsjsjs (arm holding can be rewarded with a stink eye from the conservatives elderly (mostly), from where i came from)

in fic, it's abt the same, which means it would depend on the age/setting/couple's preference with the addition of the author's preference which just,,, uh shows , ig

yes!!!! there’s a lot of reasons why i enjoy stsg fics and it’s because gojo and geto are always treated like people in stsg fics.....i’ve found that in a lot of reader insert fics you could replace gojo and geto with the male lead of those mafia boss stories on wattpad and it wouldn’t make a difference LMAO gojo and geto are often caricatures of themselves and it’s just something i’m personally not interested in.

also....i feel like there’s so much intimacy in how someone calls/says your name that just using pet names 24/7 gives it this superficial sense that i’m not really a fan of but then again, in fwb stories i totally understand.

another thing, I really feel like culture DOES play into it. obviously as asian people ourselves who come from a collectivist culture, our idea of love is different from the western concept of love. i feel like this especially comes into play when we see reader insert stories where the MC is super op and strong just so they can “match” gojo and gojo doesn’t need to worry about them even though it’s not even needed!! in asian cultures it’s not a burden to take care of people. it’s love. and i feel like western people don’t quite grasp that bc it’s such an individualist culture (this is a not nuanced at all / a generalization but u get the point)

yeah full on pda in fics always gets me because in japan???? lmao no honey!!! although gojo would definitely do it, not every character would LOL

gojo would pet names as a joke aka ironically, but i just don’t see him doing it seriously unless it's dear or smt

my mom is so big on respect. she always gets into fights abt with my brother and it’s a generational difference tbh but i digress, it’s not like it’s bad to be polite to your elders, but I do think koreans can take it too far to the point where it’s detrimental!!

A/N: Heyy!! I am finally writing-ish again for now! I havent been writing in a while and this is what I got so far! Uni has been busy along with the lack of inspiration and my scattered mind above all. I have lots of uni related stuff coming and, its definitely gonna take a lot of time. But... I will try to write as much as I could! And... OH is coming back, I am excited to see our surgeon again!! 525′600 minutes since one Louis Lahela been introduced to the world as a gift weeks before Casey's birthday. It was the greatest gift one could ever give, as they had finally been a family after all these years. They have been trying for years, for the chance to grow a family of their own. Their life wasn't very much beautiful, but… the world where they had the chance to be together. The world where the medical world has bonded them together through a place named Edenbrook Hospital.

Their journey together wasn't as easy as people thought, they were obstacles before they found their own happily ever after which leads to a new beginning. 'Do you think he is ready for the real world, Bryce?' Casey asked as they were getting ready for their family outing. As they were a family of 3, instead of two.

'He has the confidence of his father, and the brains of his mother. I think he is ready for anything, aren't you?' Bryce uses his skills to make the baby smile, a skill that he mastered for this very occasion.

'That confidence might lead us to two troublemakers in the future, Dr. Lahela.' A smile on her face, as the Lahela family started on their first journey together.

'Then…. We might need to balance it out real soon.' Bryce replied with a wink, making her blush at the thought of expanding. They had talked, and they were both okay with either a big or a small family. And, Casey wanted a huge family. She never had many relatives as it was always been Dan and herself against the world. Bryce didn't voice out an opinion since Casey knows despite everything, he is going to be the best dad in the world. Either way, they are very happy with what they have now.

The journey was short, as they arrived at the park. It wasn't as packed, as it was a weekday. A day where both doctors decided to take a day-off on their free days. It was a way Bryce suggested getting closer to him, as every second of the day. Louis is growing up to become his own man, and… honestly, he wasn't ready to bid goodbye to him once he graduates or to leave him in this world once his time was run out. He knows all of their days are numbered, he wanted to spend as much as he could before he was taken away from him.

They decided to settle on a picnic table, as Keiki joined in the festivities with her favorite nephew. Keiki held onto the picnic basket, as Casey held little Louis in her arms who was asleep soundly. They were shocked that he wasn't a fussy baby, as Casey remembers the story her mother used to tell Bryce before. The fact that she was a fussy one, always cried especially in her car rides.

Louis is different. His tears can be heard as he was welcomed to the new world. Besides that, he was known as a very quiet baby as he wouldn't cry.

Their day was filled with baby-family fun activities, as they spend their day with each other's company. Keiki somehow has become apart of their small family, and Casey wouldn't have it any other way. Both herself and Keiki would have their girl talks session that either involves planning Louis's outfits or Keiki's life stories about an adolescent Bryce Lahela from long ago. As a bonus, they managed to capture a lot of their moments. All of the good moments that one day they can go back to, during a rainy day maybe.

Keiki excuses herself as the sun finally sets. Leaving the family of three, as the moon is shining above them. They were exhausted from the activities and, honestly…spending time together as a family made it much worth despite their jobs. All of the families were seen before had left, leaving them. The air was cold, as Casey slips onto Bryce's trusty jacket with their little bundle in his arms.

They found out that Louis was indeed a night owl, as he would often be awake during the early hours of the day. And, tonight was not different at all, as he was awake. He was fully awake in Bryce's arms, cooing at the unfamiliar sight which is not his cot or the sight of his baby room. It was entirely different as his eyes slowly follow the view, searching some familiarity until he was met with his mother's emerald eyes. Looking at him gently, as he was taken in her arms.

Casey gazes upwards, as the moon was shining brightly above them. The little boy in his arms jumps excitedly at the unfamiliarity as the parents can sense the love for adventure that was mostly from Bryce. She gave him an all-knowing look, as they are going to be two troublemakers in the house very soon. The small on his face makes her heart flutters as he placed a kiss on her cheek. And one for his little boy.

'Look, Louis look up!' Casey exclaims excitedly as she points the shining moon above them. Louis followed the gesture, as his eyes lands on the round moon above him. He jumps excitedly in her arms, as his gaze was glued to the moon above him.

'It's the moon little boy! It's a huge moon!' Bryce encourages along as Casey held Lil Louis in her arms who is jumping excitedly at the sight.

'Bah bah, moooh!' His voice sounded mimicking Bryce's words as his eyes gazed on the shining moon.

Casey felt herself tearing up a little at these small moments, the moments she heard a lot growing up. The moments where she wanted to have a family of her own when she was in high school. The moment where her parents told her, to not take it granted. These are the moments where she looked forward to. The moments where it was them against the world.

'It was his first time recognizing the moon, I think I know where he gets that side of his from..' Bryce's eyes narrow at her, as Casey was an astronomer lover at heart despite medicine being her life work. He remembers the little stories her mom used to tell him, about Casey's obsession in stargazing, and anything space-related. Her mother always thought that she would become an astronomer of her own, but... medicine was her destined path and she was proud of how far she came as Casey grew up becoming her best self, and now… the best mother in the world in his eyes.

'He might be the future astronomer in the family aren't you Lil Louis?' Casey said giving him kisses on his cheeks and all, as Bryce lets out a small laugh.

'Or.. maybe a surgeon?'

Casey shook her head,

'Nope, no more scalpel jockey's in the house. Anything but that.' Casey protests as Louis claps suddenly at the sight of a shooting star above them. Both of their gazes followed him, as a smile appears on their faces.

It was their first shooting star with Louis, along with the first full moon for one Louis Lahela. Hypothetically speaking. It was a start that they didn't even know they will ever get a year ago. Standing there now, it felt unreal as they were finally a family. Their wish had finally come true, as Casey knows hers had came true a long time ago, as she first laid eyes on one Bryce Lahela, as the rest of her life was history.

The shooting star above them was slowly falling from a far distance, as the family of three stood silently with the happy coos of their little boy was heard as both of them made their wish.

After a few moments, they opened their eyes. As his hazel eyes were met with hers, a wished was made in silence as they decided to return to their home. Little do they know, their wishes had finally come true, moving forward.

They were more nights like these until the day fate had taken both of them away. Savoring their last moments together, as he lets out his final breath with Casey by his side, as Louis wished upon a similar shooting star years ago. Wishing to bring them back to the moment before, where he saw his first moon.

The first and the last as a family, he grew up becoming the person who both Bryce and Casey raised him to be; an astronomer with a gold heart. He also had two younger sisters who managed to follow his parents' footsteps, as Kailani followed their father's footsteps in becoming a surgeon whilst Alexandra followed their mother's footsteps in becoming a doctor in internal medicine.

The three siblings stood together, at the same spot years ago. The moon was shining above them, as the memories from their past emerge once more. It has been a routine for the Lahela family, as they would often visit the same spot in a few months for a small reunion or maybe…just a chance to relive the old memories once more, as the three siblings know that both Bryce and Casey are happily looking over them, with a proud facial expression at the two shooting stars above the three of them. Just the way it should be.

A/N: Heyyy, its me! And I hope all of you enjoyed it! It was a sweet and fluffy one this time, since I am wanting some fluffy bryce content! But, the story kinda made me teared up especially towards the end, as it ends in a not-so happy way. But, its still a happy ending to me! "Okay Okay So Let me get this right.. Princess is running a hotel to purify the demons here? And all she has for help is her best friend, Radio Demon, P0rnstar over there, Happy one eye demon, And Me?" Husk Cackled. Husk's Comment caused Charlie to sigh, Vaggie to roll her eyes, Alastor to smile, Angel Dust to nod, and Niffty to giggle. Husk groaned and slammed his face onto the table.

"While were all here have any of you been in love?" Charlie asked. This caused everyone to stop what they were doing. Even Alastor which caught the interest of Vaggie.

"Yeah When have any of you been in love or liked someone?" Vaggie Continued. The cat like demon had then laughed.

"I had lost the ability to love years ago so that's a no" He rolled his eyes and drank from the bottle labeled cheap booze.

"That would be never unless you count helping!" Niffty beamed.

The two nodded then it was now Alastor's turn to be pestered. The team of Co-Workers had now turned to the red deer demon.

"What is it not my turn to answer the qiestion?" Alastor Chuckled. The demons had nodded. "Married" he stated simply and walked away to find a popsicle. The demons mouths hung open in shock.

"Well who is it?" Charlie had gushed. Alastor turned towards the demon princess and grinned. "That is for me to know and for you all not to know .. now who wants some Jambalaya!" Alastor had replied suddenly changing topics.

The day had ended at the hazbin hotel and it was time for everyone to head home.

By everyone I meant Alastor. He had waved goodbye to everyone and made his way home. He opened the door to be greeted by his cheerful wife.

"Welcome back Alastor!" She chirped as he walked through the door while she had gotten up from the floor from washing it. He smiled and closed the door behind him. He grinned at his adorable wife and showered her with kisses. She giggled and returned the kisses. He smiled at her.

"So how was helping the hotel?" She asked with a smile on her face. He laughed and pecked her cheek.

"Why it was wonderful! Why I hadn't had that much fun since we had gotten together!" He laughed. She smiled at him.

"Honey?" "Yes Sweetheart?" "Can I take a bath together if that's Alright with you.." she smiled sheepishly twidling her fingers. He grinned picking her up off the ground setting his cane somewhere else nodding.

"Of course!" He exclaimed. She blushed and pecked his cheek.

"Thank you Alastor!" She giggled.

He set her down on her feet as she ran a bath.

I began to slip off my clothes. I blushed feeling the gaze of my husband. I covered myself. "Alastor!" I blushed. He tilted his head in confusion.

"Its not like I haven't seen you like this before!" He smirked. I blushed turning away from him. He chuckled.

I stopped the water before it had overflowed the bathtub. I then had stepped in. I whimpered feeling the warm water touch my body. I looked at my husband who was not smiling but in shock at the sound I had made because of the water.

I blushed and looked away.

"Sweetheart maybe I need to show you how good I can make you feel" he whispered. I blsuhed again. He then had stepped in behind me. I blushed feeling his chest against my back. His hands on my shoulders pulling me back against his chest. I turned my head to look at him as he grinned. His head leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"Wow Alastor has sure been happier this week hasn't he?" Charlie smiled at the red deer demon. Vaggie rolled her eyes at the mention of his name.

"So who do you think it could be?" Angel sat next to the ladies. The trio had began their many theories of who it could be.

"Hm.. Hey Charlie?" "Yea?" "Remember a girl named Y/n?" Vaggie asked. Charlie nodding still not catching onto what she was trying to imply. Vaggie sighed as in saying 'Nevermind'.

"Oh Alastor!! Yes!!" I had cried out. Alastor grinned above me.

"Couldn't hear you sweetheart~" he teased. My hands gripping the sheets below me. My back was currently being massaged by my husband after I had cleaned all day.

"Feeling better?" He whispered. I nodded frantically. His hands kneading out the knots in my back. My quick breaths confirming the pleasure.

"Honey.. Thank you for kneading them out" I smiled at him. He grinned his mischievous grin and peppered my bare back with kisses. I blushed at the contact of his lips on my skin.

"Could it really be her?" Charlie mumbled in a daze hoping her friend that had gone missing in the demon world wouldn't. Vaggie shrugged her shoulders.

"Now what are my favorite ladies yamming on about?~" Angel smiled eating a popsicle from the fridge. His sudden appearance caused the two females to turn to the pornstar.

"Perfect timing! Angel! You've been here longer than me.. Do you know anything about a demon named Y/n?" Charlie asked with puppy dog eyes hoping to get any information on her missing friend.

The spider had shaken his head no. The two females sighed and groaned in disappointment. This had caused the two to catch Angel's attention.

"Why do you two wanna know anyways?"

"Because we believe that she might be HIS wife"- "theoretically speaking"

"Ah!~ then maybe we can conduct an experiment!" Angel gave a grin that had almost rivaled Alastor's.

"Honey where are you?" Alastor had called out. I jumped from the bed and grabbed a pillow covering my body that was only covered by my under garments with it. The door to the bedroom had opened and there stood Alastor. His mouth hanging open in shock at my state.

"Sweetheart~if that's what you needed then you could've just called~" he chuckled loosening his bowtie. I gulped in nervousness. He then was left in his undergarments. He crawled over to me and kisses my nose with a soft smile. He took the pillow tossing it somewhere else. I blushed as he lied me down on our bed.

I instantly knew where this was headed.

The trio had groaned books scattered everywhere on the ground.

Leaving not a single page unturned or looked at.

"F*cling Sh!t! We've been at this for hours! How much longer!" Angel groaned in despair.

Charlie simply giggled at the spiders action.

"As long as we have to to leave Alastor in shock!" Vaggie seethed gripping a book.

"Well what forms of contact or things have you noticed about Alastor?" Nifty spoke.

The trio jumped and looked at the small one eyed creature.

Suddenly the three had gained a lightbulb.

"Say.. Nifty!" Charlie called for the small one.

Nifty peeled up being called to and rushed over to Charlie.

"Yes Ms.Charlie?" She chirped.

"Do you have any idea who Alastor's wife is?" Vaggie had asked curiosity glinting in her eyes.

The small female nodding with delight.

"The Miss?! Oh she's so kind.. wonderful.. and very tidy! As well as good to Alastor!" She gushed.

This had confirmed the suspicions of the trio but more so of the original duo.

"Oh dont stop please!!" I moaned. Alastor smirked at my form. My upper half against the mattress while my lower half was up in the air. I was a moaning mess.

"I dont plan to~" he purred. His his rocked back and forth into mine. His hands on my hips. My legs were now taking a life of it's own and were in sync with Alastor's. My hands gripped the sheets below me.

Suddenly the phone rang. We both jumped in suprise. I looked at Alastor in confusion as I shrugged and grabbed the phone answering the call.

"Oh hello Charlie! I havent spoken to you in awhile!" I exclaimed with joy. His hips had began rocking against mine again. I looked at him in alarm. He only winked witha devious grin. I continued my conversation with the princess as Alastor continued with our scandalous lovemaking

"Well then if that's all then goodbye!" I chirped hanging up the phone call. I let out soft pants.

"You did very well sweetheart~! Now let's give you a reward!" He exclaimed. I tilted my head in confusion. I was then above him as he sat up. He then guided my hips up and down. I moaned at the new feeling. My hands on his shoulders, head thrown back. His hips snapping upwards. My soft moans now bouncing off the walls.

His arms wrapped around my waist holding me down on his lap as his thrusts were continuously violent.

My soft moans were now screams.

The door had opened to the Hazbin Hotel in the cold of the morning.

The bells had jingled.

The red deer demon had walked his way into the hotel humming happily.

The tune that he had always hummed

Suddenly the trio that had now turned into a quartet that jumped out at him with an accusing finger.

"YOU!" They all Yelled their fingers still pointed at the red head.

He tilted his head with s confused smile.

"Me?" "Yes you!"

Then a lightbulb had gone off in Alastor's head. He simply gave his signature grin and headed towards the kitchen and to prep the meal for the clients that would hopefully come into the hotel.

The doors had opened and in walked the demon of the hour.

Y/n.

"H-Hello?" She had meekly called out into the dark hallway of the hotel.

"Heya sweetcheeks Looking for something?" Angel had grinned at her from behind the counter.

The female looked up at him with a sweet smile and nodded.

This simple action caused the spider demon to blush but shook his head.

"Ask away!"

"Is the Radio Demon Alastor Here by chance?" Her voice as sweet as honey had echoed throughout the hotel.

This caused the not-so-busy hotel to stop their actions and, turn to the female.

The spider had nodded and lead her towards the kitchen.

The female had grinned and thanked the spider.

"Thank you- "Angel..AngelDust"

"Thank you AngelDust!"

"No problem Sweetcheeks"

The female then took a few steps into the kitchen to be met with Alastor.

"Honey?"

"Sweetheart what are you doing here?"

"I came to bring you lunch.."

"I KNEW IT!!!!" Vaggie yelled out in excitement.

The couple had jumped and turned towards the door. There stood the entire staff of the Hazbin Hotel.

But I really love this one: When I was little I grew up in a village in which like 300-400 people lived (maximum) and next to us lived this sweet older couple who always gave us sweets and vegetable for our parents, or they brought us stuff from when they went on vacation. The man is now constantly sick, he suffers from parkinson and you see the early statges of dementia setting in. A while ago he wanted to go and get the German version of fish and chips with his wife but due to him needing a ton of surgeriesw constantly he wasnt able to go out with his wife. When my mom told me this I was like wtf u cant just tell me this, I’m too soft. So I went and got fish and chips from the best market around us for him and flowers for his wife, despite the fact that I havent seen them in YEARS. In response to PR, Lucy and Rami

Since another post directly referencing mine has been going around I’d thought I’d just clear up one of two points I guess I hadn’t well enough the first time around.

One I like Lucy and Rami both very much. If they are now dating or end up dating I’d be very happy. The man is 38 years old he deserves life partner or wife. And Lucy does too because we all deserve to be happy and loved. I shall never ever in a million years get the chance to meet or date either of them so why should I hate them if they are together? Why be jealous? if Lucy is the one than good she doesn’t seem like a bad or evil person she just seems highly career driven. Just like Rami was in his youth but when a woman show cases that we tend to cast her in a negative light that we don’t on men. That was the motivation for my post but I felt in order to express that I also needed to share what I have come to believe is the truth. Which is that the relationship is or mostly has been a PR stunt. Not talking about that fact felt wrong to me.

The reason for the PR stunt I gave was the nicest out of the three. Which was award season a little googling should explain that or maybe in the future I’ll write a non Rami related cliff notes post on how award season works in Hollywood and the millions of dollars that go into it and why. Because Oscars are still star makers and cash cows ( Bri Larson, Octavia spencer A24, Weinstein anyone) There are two other rumors flying but I don’t feel like they have enough ground or proof to bother writing about.

I came under fire for posting this as it was viewed as an attack on both actors privacy. Which depending on your definition of a public figure could very well be true. I’d normally agree 100% with that poster on this fact. It’s why I’ve with held my knowledge on their relationship and the PR rumors under wraps for sometime and the word in Hollywood till they made it quite clear that they are out in the public like this together and those public actions and comments in blogs,red Carpet interviews and speeches can be discuss and used as a point of reference. When you sit court side though you can get free tickets for more private places you want to be seen and don’t want privacy.

As for breaking rami’s privacy about the PR stunt it’s kinda all over and joked at among those close to a certain part of his inner circle. There isn’t much privacy left to be had. Why do you think almost right after it seemed like they were dating that there was a huge surge in people claiming it’s PR. No one claimed that when it Timmee and Lily Rose because Hollywood had known they were dating for months. No one within a ten foot radius of there social circle was shocked because it had always been tastefully known. There was no doubt they were a real couple. People date their co stars all the time and PR stunt rumors never spread because there is no grounds for it. It’s a when there is smoke their is fire moment and so far none of the smoke has cleared it’s only gotten thicker.

His acting coach ( current or former haven’t gotten a clear answer on that) is openly talking about it with many. If anyone has betrayed rami’s privacy it’s her. But maybe she didn’t really because maybe it’s not a secret Rami is too hot on keeping as it’s spread pretty far and the PR team is making basic moves. Play book moves on all of it. Their biggest mistake was the golden globes mini melt down which they’ve been correcting ever since.

As for why the press doesn’t ask about if it’s PR stunt? Oh my word. You do know how press for actors work right? It’s not journalists actors speak with. Their talking heads. Literally that’s what they are not so nicely referred to as because that’s their job. reps pick the questions. Anyone who is going to interview an actor is sent a list of no go questions and then submits their questions back so the actor can prep their answer. Why else do you think Live Aid is the main talking point of so many interviews? It’s been preplaned to be brought up. Also most of those people respect their guests and don’t want to shame them or make them uncomfortable by bringing up stuff they’ve been asked not to. It also a nice safety net if they get internet shamed for not asking questions. I couldn’t I was given orders not too.

So why doesn’t an interviewer break the rules? If you’re Ellen you can if you are a smaller red carpet person you get black balled. That PR team is never going on to let you speak to anyone of their stars again.

As for the London bffta comment which got mentioned in regards to my post rami is filming doctor doo little - or parts of it in London and possibly James Bond mostly at Pinewood in London. That sounds like a good reason especially given how much more layer back unhollywood like London is. Lucy could be a reason or it could be practical business investment most actors buy places where they film and then rent them out or make them over and sell them for a much higher price ( Angela Jolie’s Budapest short lived Budapest rel estates love affair anyone)

Look was my making the post or even the post the smartest choice of my life no. But the lack of understanding around Hollywood especially when it’s so easy to read the trades and follow key people on Twitter kills me.

So yes people of the internet doubt me. I am hidden behind a screenname and while I’ve made cases no solid proof has been offered. All I can encourage you to do if you want to argue or are curious is do research. Or better yet ask yourself what you are using to say if they are a couple or not. Or what you define as privacy. Or why you don’t like Lucy or don’t like rami or hate Hollywood. Think study learn and don’t consider not speaking on the internet till you can make sound well rounded response otherwise you are just adding to the noise.

And on a bottom bottom note time will tell us more about their relationship. How often she visits the mr robot set or hangs in New York how much he flies back to London over the 3 months after his Oscar win will let us know.

No they won’t break up right after. There will be a post Oscar honeymoon phase for at least a month and then Lucy is will slowly start a social media rebranding of sorts. Showing more of her life and career than she had before and rumors of power moves and the roles she is up for and in talks for will poor in. Then after about 3 months nothing 6 months they don’t be dating but with probably only one or two vague stories of them growing apart - but how successful they are either on E! Or entertainment tonight.

If none of the above follows then I was wrong and my sources mislead or mistaken and I shall be the first to congratulate Lucy and rami and cheers their loyalshippers. Because none of this is an attack against them it’s about the bs we force on movie stars as fans and what the industry does to them.

And on a petty note of this level of breaking down Hollywood and explaining all that I have at a university level with years of experience on this matter sounds like a 12 year old crap post out of jealousy to you then why are you on the tumblr fighting for moviestars honor when you clearly are too brilliant for the likes of this? Just saying that was a really dump attack against me and my credibility t - go on correct my English it’s not my first language nor my second.

Hi, I’m hoping you could help me. It’s very long but I’m not sure how to shorten it up. I’m 27 and began being curious around 17~18 but only identified as bi about 23 after i graduated from University. I’ve never had a relationship, I barely have proper friends even. Nothing ever really lasts and everyone is always so busy so these days basically I only communicate online, even with family and people I know through school, work, offline community groups. I’m a strange person, do weird things, and apparently quite selfish and want to do things I like only. I get so bored and annoyed if I’m with people in person and I don’t truly enjoy our activities and prefer to be alone. Sometimes I do find those that share my interests, but then they have little time or are far away so we can’t meet up often either. Even though our interests sre shared, we like different parts (ie. both fans of a tv show but for different reasons or we ship different characters. or we both love music but different genre/artist.) or different degrees of like. (ie. we both love a tv series which was originally a game and they love the game more. While they love the tv series too they critisise some changes from original so dont invest in it as much. Or we are both a fan of the same artist but while they go to all the concerts and love every song, but i’ve only been to a few concerts but dislike some songs and havent heard them all. Therefore there is a disconnect in our friendship because can’t truly share things and is dissatisfying.) I only had two steady friends in high school, a male and female. I connected with the boy because my mom lived in his country when she was young for a few years and partially learned its culture and language so I’d learn more from him, and he was quite interested in learning my culture and language as well. However there was plenty things we disagreed on and didn’t get along otherwise. But he was a handsome boy I wanted to ask him out but felt the disconnect would be trouble, especially his family. Not sure why but we didn’t communicate after high school. I connected with the girl because we both play the same instrument and we sort of practied together sometimes and she taught me as she was more advanced. But she moved away and we could only talk online and now we rarely talk and I stopped playing the instrument for unrelated reasons. I had various other short lived ‘friends’ throughout my whole life we could chat about something here and there but otherwise it was disconnect due to reasons I’ve stated much earlier. There was only one person in my life who actually had pretty much an equal like in something-that is learning about myths. We shared many worldwide myths with each other and were interested in everything each other had to say. I met her when I was 20 and she was my classmate (I studied abroad). I came out to her as being curious just a month after we met although she says she’s straight. I sort of crushed on her, perhaps because it is so hard to find someone who really shared interests with me so much and I was so happy. I never talked more with anyone else, we would spend so much time together, both online and off. But when we graduated she immediately got a job and I moved back home. She doesn’t have time much more, we chat online occassionally and still talk about myths (has always been about 80% of our conversations) but I haven’t seen her in person since graduating. But those were the best years of my life, being together with my best friend. I think she is the reason why I really thought I liked girls too and she was very supportive when I was curious. Now I’m back to ‘friends’ who are there sometimes and can sometimes connect through some shared interests but otherwise it’s just disconnect and we don’t really get along. To be honest, I’m not sure if I’m lonely. I enjoy my interests and I’m happy when I can share things with someone even if a little bit. Im truly myself while alone and don’t have to compromise for someone else. But I’m getting older and my family keeps asking whether I’m going to settle down with anyone, in their minds 30 is the latest ideal age to marry so I have 3 years. Honestly it’s a silly deadline but I know they won’t force me. They are fine with me being bi although they don’t really inderstand, so that’s a great thing. I would love to settle down, whether it’s within this time or not. But my life experiences and personality seem to make it so hard to find and keep friends, much less a husband/wife. There’s only been one divorce in the history of my relatives due to a cheating partner otherwise it’s fully happy lifelong marriages. But with the way I connect with just friends, and nothing ever really lasts…how in the world am I going to find a lifelong partner that wont end in divorce because I don’t even have friends that really last. To be honest, I do have friends I first met 10+ years ago but we talk occassionally, usually only online and our topics are very narrow or just basic life updates otherwise it’s disconnect. True, these friendships do last but we arent very close at all so it’s not truly good friendship. 40% of such friends are those I met online and never in person-most being not in the same country even, 20% are those I met online but mostly seen in person as part of a organized group, the rest we met in person. I can’t be in this kind of not close but lasting relationship with a husband/wife, we need to be there daily and our lives would be intertwined. So, I’m not sure what to do or how to go about looking for someone. Or should I just continue living as I have, ignoring my family’s nag. Maybe I do better as my own single person? I would love to settle down but I do love being single too but sometimes wish I had friends who better match interests. Please advise me. Thank you very much.

Answer: Ok, here’s the thing, most people are selfish. Thomas Hobbes believes that human nature is actually very selfish. You aren’t the only selfish person, I’m extremely selfish. Yes, it’s much easier to be alone and not have to compromise, trust me, I’m terrified of committing and compromising. But I promise you that one day, you may meet a person and you won’t want to be selfish, you want to give to make them happy because their happiness makes you happy. Don’t expect that to happen right when you meet, it won’t happen until you give them a chance. So don’t worry about being selfish, everyone is.

You seem to be looking for someone who has the exact same interests as you in all areas. You’ll never find that, there’s no two people that are the same. Besides, that would get really boring when sharing a lifetime together. If you agree on everything, then what can you possibly talk about? You’ll never have make up sex either. The girl I’m with now and I have nothing in common. She loves chemistry, I barely passed chemistry. She likes big trucks, I like small fast cars. She enjoys stories that are full of emotion and detail while I prefer the stories that are very subtle. We don’t like the same books or movies. I think we only have one show in common. Seriously, we are complete opposites. But that’s what makes it fun. I don’t care that we have different interests, we are combining our interests. She reads my favorite books, I watch her favorite show. The person and their values matter, not what show they watch and what character they like. So no, we don’t have anything in common. But she’s brilliant, kind, and funny. She’s supportive and she truly wants to make me happy. And me, a very very selfish person who is terrified of commitment, I want to make her happy too. I want to watch her favorite show and I even want to hear about her day even though I don’t have a clue what she does at work. That’s what matters. The goodness you find in someone and the goodness they bring out in you. Yeah, you’ll argue and fight but then you’ll make up and have awesome make up sex. You’ll actually have something to talk about and debate if you are opposites. You need to balance each other out. You like to stay home. Find someone who is outgoing and likes to go out. Balance each other, you go out more, they go out less.

Find someone you can meet in the middle. It might not be anytime soon. It might take a few years. But if you are hoping to settle down and fall in love then you’ll need to step way out of your comfort zone. And don’t look for someone that’s exactly like you, look for someone to be everything you aren’t, the other half of you. Forget the three year timeline. It’ll happen when it’s meant to. Start with fixing you first.

Unless you really don’t want to get married then don’t change. It didn’t seem that way to me though.
