This may be an unpopular opinion but I GENUINELY really miss the vibe of Umbrella Academy season 1. It was so fucking emo and that just felt Right.

#i know people really like the bright fun goofy vibes of s2 #3 is more divisive but I think it was still largely going by s2 vibes #i dunno I've just started a pre-s4 rewatch after a long time not seeing it #so i will have more thoughts later #but aside from the 'god please light your scenes so i can fucking see them' critique which you can apply tomost dramas these days #i genuinely love s1 in it's edgy emo-ness #you can feel that it's based on a Gerard Way comic #gets off to an absolutely banger start with the lindsey stirling phantom medley #and idk i think i preferred the show when there were silly bits and they were v fun y but we didn't undercut everything with jokes?#later season vibes are a bit more disney/marvel #also s1 is before they fucking gave up on trying to give diego his fair shake as a compelling main character lmao #i love you diego 💛#and god rob sheehan was absolutely fucking SLAYING s1 with his portrayal of the klaus/dave story #that scene where he reappears from the past on the bus with tears and bloody hands still fucks me UP #and then they just kind of rushed through the dave thread in s2 and started mainly using klaus for comic relief #idk s1 was emo as fuck but we got to spend so much time with these characters and their unpleasant messy feelings!!!#just thinking shit don't mind me #mr. bees speaks

the comments are all the same every single one of them on every single video it’s gotta be just like one person under all these channels

why hasn’t someone done a deep dive on music edit audio compilation channels

NOT the music edit audio community itself but the people who collect the audios and put pictures of fucking I dunno generic (most likely ai generated now) anime character on top.

It feels like there’s so much more than what you see on the surface.

Just thinking about the scientist who thought that H. Pylori caused stomach ulcers but couldn't get funding for research, so he drank a tube of the bacteria. He was right, and immediately took antibiotics after he confirmed his results, but damn he is a great representation of the type of scientist I strive to be.

I used to joke around that in a spiritual sort of sense I was always supposed to grow up rich. I've got the soul of an aristocrat, the wallet of a commoner and the politics of someone who is rly pissed off in the most pretentious way.
