#peak male form actually#jason todd#dc#I love how nobody but Martian Manhunter really knew the brothers in blood arc had started and even then it was just a side note#because too much shit was happening in this story for that to have any bearing whatsoever at that moment#but also because Jason playing dress up isn't a big league issue it just happened to cross manhunter's radar lol#so Jason makes the decision to dress up as Nightwing and go to ny as black adam is destroying the world and the trinity is gone#he finds a group of criminals about to run off with a suitcase of cash#he gives them a mini lecture about how irresponsible it is for decorated self-important heroes like Bruce to disappear at a time like this#and how it’d also be irresponsible of him if he’d let them get away knowing they’re going to fuck shit up while the world is ending#it’s implied he killed them#then it cuts to a panel of him with the suitcase#saying that’s the easiest money he made and ‘this vigilante thing is a breeze’#as if he didn’t pretty much do the same thing to the biggest drug lords of Gotham like five minutes ago#giving them a big scare and leaving with 40% of their millions#granted he did have to guillotine a bunch of their lieutenants but he said it himself it was only 2 hrs and he got 40%#also that second part is even funnier because he says it as if vigilantism isn’t *the only thing* he’s done pretty much his whole life#like. you boosted car parts and sold them for money to dodge the foster system. then you were robin. struggeling to draw anything for the totk rewrite bc i know the most popular stuff is some cool cutscenes or something and me working on detailed mechanics is mostly a waste of time :/
like i have alot of stuff worked out by now but it would take ages to draw concepts for all those new menus and mechanics when few people are interested in that- and while making a giant text post about it would be more efficient ... who the hell would read all that ._.

#having a day full of mixed feelings#I suppose this is how life goes#I'm officially done with my Bachelor's degree as of today#obviously I'm proud of myself for the accomplishment and I was excited to be celebrated today#it was a long and difficult road and there were many times where I didn't think I'd live to see it through but I made it#I'm the first person in my family to get this degree and I was really looking forward to having today be my day#I had a really lovely morning and then things kind of waned#there were a few arguments. someone I spent the day with repeatedly made negative comments about something I care about#it felt awful. I know it was intended as more of a playful jab than anything but I directly asked for the comments to stop and they didn't#it especially hurt that it was a fandom thing and the person is so invested in their own fandoms yet they felt it fair to step on mine#even though I've never done that to them#then people kept talking over me and acted like I was wrong for trying to interject to finish my own sentences#also as I said in the last post I was deeply upset by how my family members spoke of my 12 year old cousin#she's just a kid and some of our close family members have such a nasty opinion of her. she's so young and she's had a rough few years#but it seems like no one except my brother and I are willing to give her any grace#I think everyone else has forgotten what it feels like to be a kid and feel as if the world is against you#on a more positive note. I had a decadent slice of chocolate cake. it was heavenly#unfortunately I was really too in my head to fully enjoy it#literally every day for 3 weeks I've been talking about the lunch I planned to have today#I knew exactly what meal and dessert I wanted from the restaurant. it's my absolute fave and isn't available at any other local restaurant#I was totally starving by time we got to the restaurant. we were out all morning and I ate a tiny breakfast in anticipation of this meal#when we got there we found out they removed what I planned to order from the menu. I was devastated.#I know it's stupid but like this was the one part of my day that I've had planned for MONTHS and I've been thinking about it for weeks#we had a 40 minute car ride where I mentioned my excitement for the food no less than 10 times so this crushed me#also I'm just really picky in general and typically restaurants only have one or two things I'm able to eat#I offered to just eat the dessert while everyone else ordered food because they were all really hungry too but they wouldn't allow it#we left the restaurant and I still feel horrible for walking out. if I had known the item was removed we wouldn't have even gone there#it happened so recently though and I feel dumb for not even thinking to check the menu online beforehand#so we went to another restaurant and I barely ate anything and now I have no appetite for dinner and I feel bad for ruining the afternoon#even though it's my day and my celebration and I feel like I'm entitled to a slight amount of unreasonableness

i want to write more original imagines but every time i do that someone follows this blog thinking that i'll post more, but no. you get pictures of my favorite anime character.
this has been and always will be a personal blog dedicated to selfshipping. yes, i do make original content for a wider audience, but ultimately this blog is for me and me alone.

Found my list of movies I’ve watched this year bc I moved phones so I’m trying to update it and I’m really glad I did (although I wish I had done it sooner so I don’t have to try to remember or like. Find references to every movie I watched between march and September) bc I don’t remember watching a lot of these movies.

I don’t remember any of my own private Idaho and I feel like they have similar vibes. in a way. so maybe that’s it? idk tho#also my review of it is literally just ‘wow. film of all time’#which probably means I opened my notes app after watching and was already actively forgetting everything I had watched#shark speaks#I’ve added the ones i remembered or could find some proof in my history of watching. but I only got this laptop in July#before then I was watching stuff just on the tv so I know I’m missing some. Crafting and booster shot updates!
- little crochet airplane is finished, baby blanket is washed, checked for loose threads, and ready to go!
- my dad and I got the booster shot on Friday, and my brother held off so that there’d be at least one functional person in the house this weekend. He’s going to get his booster shot sometime this week, and will take the blanket and airplane to the lady at the pharmacy for me when he does
- I ironed the fabric for my next quilt, which will be a quilt to donate
- I did not expect to get much crafting done this weekend, and I didn’t, but taking extra meds (mostly benadryl) helped me SO MUCH with the booster side effects. Turns out like 95% of the side effects I had after previous vaccines were not vaccine side effects, they were side effects from being injected with something I am allergic to*. I didn’t have low blood pressure problems! I didn’t almost pass out!! I did spend most of the weekend resting but oh my gosh the improvement is almost unbelievable. My blood pressure was so low for so long last time, even after a *triple dose* of my usual meds that raise my blood pressure, that if it weren’t for covid I probably would have been at an urgent care to get an IV of fluids.
*I’m allergic to vinegar, and there’s acetic acid in the vaccine**. Vinegar is basically acetic acid plus water

(for me)#like 125/80 most of the first day#it's a little low today but only in a 'didn't get quite enough water yesterday' way#not in a 'cannot safely attempt stairs' way#and my heartrate only got in the 110s!!! not the 150s!!!#and my blood pressure was a little high because I took an extra dose of my blood pressure go up medication (at my doctor's recommendation)#I specify that because I have no idea how much leeway most people have in their dosage of blood pressure medications?#but I am. uh. wary of accidentally suggesting something that would be very very bad for anyone without my specific health problems#cannot emphasize enough that I am both not a medical professional and what the doctors literally called a medical mystery#side note: I am so extremely glad I was able to talk my dad into getting the booster#he got his first shot a year and a half ago and did not get any boosters#and now only the MRNA boosters are approved? and he got the J&J shot because he does not trust the MRNA#but apparently he trusts them now that so many people have had them????#idk what changed his mind but I am very very glad

Had a dream Jenna Marbles came back :(

hi!! so this isn't actually the case as while gourdy was briefly mentioned in a trial, said trial had nothing to do with whether or not gourdy was "real" per se as much as. well. murder, actually. while gourdy WAS found out to be an inflatable steel samurai this was not brought up in the case at all as the veracity of gourdy wasn't really as relevant as the fact that the witness was looking for gourdy rather than at the murder she claimed to have seen. plus this was also a relatively small part of a MUCH larger trial which for those interested not only solved the dl-6 case but ALSO marked the end of prosecutor von karma's ~40 year long record and the court records are really a fascinating read through!!
