yosuke didn't just go to the tv world because he was bored and hated inaba. chie wasn't just friends with yukiko because she got a kick out of her needing her. yukiko wanted a place to belong more than anything else. i could go on. shadows are only part of what you feel, not the whole truth.

saki clearly thought yosuke was a pain in the ass. she thought he was annoying and didn't like the way he was lowkey clinging to her as one of his few friends in inaba. we really don't know a lot about their relationship, so it's possible that this is ACTUALLY all it was...

but saki also got a print club sticker with him when he first came to inaba. she told him "parents are parents; you're you." when yu first transfers, she goes over to him and tells him she hopes he and yosuke get along well. yosuke mentions she treats him a lot like her younger brother.

you can think someone is lowkey annoying and still like them. i mean if you couldn't i don't think the investigation team would last...

we'll never know. saki's shadow is the only truth we know about her. it's entirely possible she actually did all of this for yosuke just to be nice... but i don't know. i think it's discrediting to say she just hated him. that's all

Ok I’ve been trying to put together a cohesive train of thought on why Kristoph is Like That and I keep thinking about an old Reddit post I saw (here’s the link if you’d like to read the whole thing) that posited that Kristoph gives his motive for murder in the fact that Zak snubbed him for a man he thinks is a worse defense attorney and human being. And that is why Zak and Phoenix both deserved what they got.

Kristoph states that Zak deserved to die for choosing Phoenix over him.

And that’s well and good and all—

But imagine how Apollo has got to feel in that moment, your ex-boss, a convicted murderer, telling you that his motive for killing a man was because he chose Phoenix Wright over Kristoph. How long ago was it that you yourself stood here, Wright by your side, and betrayed your own mentor to save Phoenix? How long ago was it that you snubbed him just like Zak?

Kristoph is glaring at Apollo from the stand and what he’s saying isn’t just that Zak deserved to die. It’s that I’d kill you too, if I ever get the chance.

The episode was so good! Sure it was painful as hell to see Lin Ling (my baby) get pummeled but I was cheering as he got his power up and finally gave that asshole, God eye, a black eye! Oh did it feel so good seeing him getting what he deserved

I genuinely laughed seeing that Moon (😭😭😭😭😭) was just a doll with really good hologram. Like damn even with ur god eye you couldn’t find her you fraud.

Also them Trusting Lin Ling and Lin Ling finally becoming his own hero and not some replacement was so good I am so proud of my son (THAT’S MY BOY THAT’S WHY HE’S THE GOAT!!!!) Though him being called ‘The commoner’ is absolute bullshit. Like I’m sure his Chinese name is something reallly cool but damn did us English viewers get nerfed with that name
