How quickly the time changes,
Chapter 6
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And some things stay the same.
Chapter 913
Tumblr media
.
The fact that Zoro is always there. As a shield, as Luffy's swordsman and someone who always has his back, guarding him and what's important to him. Even after 900+chapters!!
(I'm only on about chapter 370, but thanks to @general-cyno Jay's post about the Wano arc, all i could think about was this parallel from their first meeting - their first fight together, where without any words between them Zoro was there to protect Luffy, already seeing him as his captain!! And fastforward to the other chapter, it's so similar and so much more! Soulmates !! ❤️💚😭)

BE MINE + ONE PIECE MEN
request: them asking the reader to be their partner + luffy, zoro, sanji & law
info: gn!reader, i forgor how i characterize them so bear with me, also this is me trying to crawl back to one piece so im sorry if its rlly bad; not proofread!!! (i should start asking ppl to beta read those istg)
Tumblr media
monkey d.luffy didn't really straight up asked you to be his partner. luffy being luffy, he walked up to you one day and said that you were his partner. you, having feelings for the captain for a really long time now, chuckled nervously, asking "what do you mean?". as he explained that nami told him that if he liked you, then he should ask you out, you could hear the red head sighing from somewhere—you knew at least half of the crew was watching you two right now. you laughed softly at the proud smile he wore and nodded, agreeing to be his.
roronoa zoro was almost the same as luffy, but at least he had the decency to actually ask you about it. during a beautiful day, you were on one side of the little garden that was built in the thousand sunny's deck, helping robin to water the plants. out of nowhere, a shadow was cast upon your crouching form; looking up, you noticed the green haired swordsman and smiled at him, getting up. "yes, zor—"
cutting you off, he asked in the same stoic tone he almost always had: "do you want to be my partner?". your eyes went wide and you let out a small exclamation of surprise. taking that as a denial, he turned back and started to walk away, but you managed to yell out his name. "yes! i will be your partner." the man huffed and nodded, but you could see a slight blush dusting his cheekbones.
when the subject is romance and love, you always expect sanji to be a master at it. out of everyone, he should be the one knowing how to ask someone to be his significant other, but he has never felt this... strongly about someone like he feels about you. when he approaches you to ask that, he's holding a little box with your favorite dessert, his long slender fingers shaking a little as words seemed to catch on his throat for the first time in front of someone he loves. he took a deep breath, a bead of sweat dripping down the back of his neck, you touching his arm and asking 'is everything okay, sanji?' with your sweet voice sent him over the edge. "do you want to date me?", his words were clear for him, but for you, he simply spat all of them out at the same time. you told him to breathe and say it again, and he did, his eyes looking at the floor with the shame of the rejection that would surely come his way. your head almost bumped on his as you jumped on his arms, screaming a yes and giggling loudly. he hugged you and spun you around, giggles of his own leaving his pink lips.
trafalgar d.water law didn't want to acknowledge his feelings for you. you were one of his closest friends, one of the few people he trusted the most—you knew things about him that he never told another soul; so he was afraid of losing you. terrified even. he had lost enough people that he loved during his life and he couldn't bear to lose another one. but... his other friends knew a little too much about his "silly" feelings.
"c'mon man, go ask them out." law saw himself being cornered by penguin, sachi and bepo one day, all of them with playful expressions. "the worst you can get is a punch."
he tried to ignore them, ignore how his cheeks seemed to be heating up, but they were being so obnoxious and annoying, he couldn't handle them anymore. with a burst of rage, he yelled at them, "can you shut up? i don't like them and they don't like me, either!"
"like who?" your voice made his heart leave his body and he felt like stabbing the three men—and bear—that were running away now. "no one." law replied, scoffing to himself for the slip up. "torao! tell me! come on!" now you were the one bugging him and he rubbed his face with his hand. you poked his cheek, giving him a little pout. "law, please!"
"it's you." he snapped, making you freeze. "it's you, dumbass." surprising the man, you started to giggle, making him go from annoyed to even more embarassed. "what?" you kissed his lips softly and started to walk away, saying that you accepted to be his partner.

𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 (opla!zoro x fem!reader)
sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs; zoro always felt like he had that deep connection with you every since the day you joined the crew his desire to be completely consumed by this intense experience he gets from being around you
ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ; protective zoro, slight cursing, fighting one piece spoilers (ep 8) disclaimer!reader has devil fruit powers precisely she can freeze things with her hands and I also changed up the scene a bit for the character to fit in
Tumblr media
“Okay let’s go” Luffy announced as started off our plans ambushing arlong’s grew and bursting threw the door
“Fishmen! Stand by to repel boarders!” A fish men ordered to the rest
Upon hearing that Luffy cracked his knuckles, Sanji and Nami got into their fighting stance, Zoro pulled out his Katana and I got ready to use my devil fruit powers.
“Where arlong?” Luffy asked in a more monotone voice
“He’s probably in the map room” answered back Nami
“Then that’s where we’re going” Luffy said
Nami nodded leading Luffy to the Map room to where arlong was at
They left leaving me, Usopp , Zoro and Sanji to fight off the Fishmen
They all ran towards us and we started fighting them
I had three Fishmen my way throwing hit and punches at me as I dodge them using my devil fruit powers to freeze them and throw some punches and kicks of my own
A Fishmen tried to attacking me from the back in which I didn’t see but zoro had jumped in slicing away his throat
“Thanks” I mumbled out of breathe
He hummed
After finishing some more Fishmen I watched as a more bigger one started chasing Usopp
God no..
I ran away them as the Fishmen started speaking up, I used my ice powers to freeze his legs and run away Usopp
The Fishmen gruffled out stomping his fry and breaking out
“Shit” Usopp said looking terrified
“Shit indeed” I agreed now running along with Usopp
“Your not getting away” the Fishmen roared spitting out alcohol balls toward us as we both dodged it running some more
“All I need is one good shot” he whispered out looking back over I me
He got up about to shoot but one of the balls got him as he tumbled down the hill
I squealed running after him but falling down myself along with him
“Get back here” the Fishmen said now back to running after us
..
𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑨𝑻 𝑨𝑹𝑳𝑶𝑵𝑮𝑺 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑲
“You look tired” mocked Sanji and he gave another Fishmen a back kick and sweeper another one off there feet
“Maybe you should take a break” another mock again
This time it got to zoro as he got back up back to slicing away more Fishmen
“You ought to get back in the kitchen” sneered zoro
“Quit screwing around”
“Luffy,Nami and Y/n needs us!” Voiced out Sanji and zoro eyes turned dark at the mention of his crew mates name
“You just got here you don’t know what she needs” Gruffled out zoro
“I know she needs my cooking” prided out Sanji as he smirked over at zoro
“Putting two slices of bread together” mimicked zoro in a pissed off tone
“Ooh someone’s feeling threatened” Giggled buggy as his head was still stuffed in the bag
“then get me back to my body! We’re close I can feel my toes” Buggy continued
“Trust me I can help you guys win this thing” the clown still pleaded
Sanji looked over seeing the clowns body hanged up as he took off the bag off his shoulders
“I swear clown is you screw us over..” mumbled zoro
Sanji opened the bag dropping the clowns head on the floor as the clown groaned in pain attaching itself back onto its body
The clown yelled in joy feelings itself intact again
“oh, it’s so much better than I even remembered” the clown cheered
He looked over at Sanji and zoro
“Hey, so um..I’m gonna get out of here” mocked buggy as he stocked both his middle fingers to them while running away
“Hey!” Yelled zoro
“Sorry kiddos id love to make things right but it’s time to exit stage left” the clown said running along
“Fucking clown” zoro rasped out
𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑻𝑶 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑷𝑶𝑽
“You okay” I asked out to Usopp as I pulled him up to his legs
“shh he’s coming duck” he instructed to play dead as we both laid down with him dashing hot sauce on us to make us both look dead
We both closed our eyes playing dead, feeling the presence of the fish man coming close
“too bad little one just when we were starting to have some fun” the Fishman whispered
Feeling him walk away we both opened our eyes as we slowly but quietly got back up
“Gotcha” whispered Usopp as he looked over at the hot sauce he used
“Hey, Neck flaps” I yelled out
“Where you going?” Continued Usopp
“You haven’t even tried my hot sauce” Usopp smirked
“ that still won’t save you my skin is tougher than bullets” prided out the fishman
“Maybe you should try one of my new patented fire rounds” Usopp suggested pulling something from behind his ear
“I’m a fishman I don’t catch fire” He said again
“ maybe you don’t but alcohol does” Usopp said
“Special attack, exploding star” he yelled again
now throwing the ball at the alcohol and watching as it exploded on the Fishmen in agony
“Yeah, Ha! Take that”
“ the great Captain Usopp fells another notorious villain” Usopp sang out looking over at me in victory
We both jumped up giving each other a hight five
“The great captain Usopp did it again” I encouraged
“And no one’s around to see it but my fellow crew mate” he breathed out
“It’s okay.. they’ll belive me, your here” he convinced himself as I nodded
We both ran back to the park where Sanji and zoro were at
Once we reached over there we saw that they both were right one fish men
“Your crew mates are fools to have faith in such weak compatriots” mocked the large Fishmen
Usopp and I looked at each other
“Should we..” I asked out peeking over at Usopp
“Nah they’ll be fine” Usopp whispered back
We looked back over at them
“You and eve Badmouth Nami” Sanji grumbled taking off his blazer
“Yeah you don’t ever badmouth Y/n and the crew.. Now you’ve done it” Zoro said tighting his bandana
that’s so sweet
Sanji started giving him some lethal kicks calling out his moves as he does it and then finally sending the fishman flying into a shop
“Mouton shot?” zoro asked walked away
“all great Fine is called out they’re finishing moves” Sanji answered back
“Yeah, your gonna fit in just fine” Zoro said
I looked over at Usopp as he signaled us to go in and be prepared for any attacks
“Never fear Y/n the great Usopp with protect you!” Usopp yelled out running infront of me to inside the park
I followed behind him chuckling
“Oh. You guys did pretty good in here” Usopp exhaled out looking over at me while smiling
I looked over at zoro and Sanji nodding in approval
“Good job guys” I expressed out walking over to them
“You okay” zoro asked me examining me as Sanji looked over at the now talking temple
“Just fine, thank to Usopp” I answered in which made Usopp Beamer even more and Zoro rolled his eyes keeping his hands attached to his sword
Right then we saw Nami making her way down the falling temple
“Nami!” Sanji yelled in happiness holding out his hands
She ran past him and to us, hugging Zoro, Usopp and I in happiness
“Your all okay” she pointed out hugging tighter
Ouch
She let go smiling while out of breath
“Where luffy” asked Sanji
“He’s still inside..” she answered back
“Fighting arlong”
We all looked over towards the temple watching it continue to collapse
“He’s gonna be all right”Usopp said
“Right” now he sounded a bit more unsure
Just then the whole temple collapse, I gasped out in fear as felt zoro’a hand holding mines in protection
“He’s gonna be fine” zoro whispered into my ears rubbing his thumb over my fingers as he held them
I nodded my head
Silence it was after the whole temple dropped down
That’s when we saw luffys whole arm stick out from the pile of dust he was under
Phew
And he then jumped out I could finally let go of the fresh air I was holding in
“Nami!, you are our friend..we are your crew” Luffy cried out
Sanji laughed as I did too and so did the rest as luffy only smiled

I want a really specific Luffy/Sanji/Zoro fic where it's focused on how Zoro is probably not able to be numbed or knocked out.
I want to do a post at some point about how Nami, Usopp and Zoro are the humans of the crew. The ones without devilfruits, no genetic stuff, and completely human.
You can absolutely argue that Zoro has whatever the fuck is going on with the demon stuff but until that's clearly discussed I'm going with the human thing.
Back to Luffy/Sanji/Zoro.
I'm really sold on the idea that Zoro burns through numbing and pain medications like it's nothing.
He can be knocked out or made completely numb but it requires a unreal amount of medication, enough that the amount is usually unavailable or risks overdosing him and making him very sick.
So, how many times has Chopper had to dig out shrapnel and bullets while Zoro was completely aware and felt everything?
Or stitched him up while Zoro held the skin together for him?
How many times has Chopper had to rebreak bones that had healed wrong if they were separated for a period of time and Zoro didn't set it right?
How about cauterizing wounds?
Concussions?
Blood loss?
What it he needed surgery because of a wound, and Chopper had to cut into him without being able to numb him at all?
Oooooof
I fully believe Chopper has had to do some of those. However, when Zoro is too out of it, or it hurts to much to not jerk away or fight back... I think Luffy and Sanji would have to hold him down. The only two with enough strength to get him still enough that Chopper can do what needs to be done without worry.
Robin could be added to that, I think. I like to think Zoro and her have a strong friendship and she's seen enough shit to know sometimes things have to be done even though it sucks.
What sounds does someone make in a situation like that? How much can the human body take?
If he was out of it enough, would he plead with Luffy to let him up? He would absolutely call for Luffy when everything hurts and I'll die on that hill.
It would be a blessing if he passed out but how long would he be passed out? Just long enough for everyone to breathe before he was awake again and struggling?
Is it worse when he's quiet? Awake but so exhausted he can't even try to jerk away?
The rest of the crew hearing everything but knowing better than to go try to help.
Having to act like they can't all hear anything and desperately hoping that Zoro passes out soon.
And Zoro is Zoro. No one really talks about it. They're all aware, of course, but Zoro never brings it up or complains.
He's actually really good at holding still, clenching his jaw and curling his lip back in a pained snarl. Every muscle in his body tense and his back in a rigid arch.
This isn't new to him. He's always burned through this stuff quick but it's definitely gotten worse as he's gotten older and stronger.
Luffy and Sanji only have to hold him down for the really bad ones. It's more of a precaution, a comfort of all of them.
They're the only ones to hold him because even blind with pain, Zoro knows them.
Even when his world narrows down to hurthurthurt, he won't fight them the way he would someone else. He trusts them to be strong enough that he can be a little weak if needed. Only a little.
Luffy being cautious and untrusting of anyone other than crew while Zoro recovers and gets his feet back under him.
Possessive and protective in the way all captains are. A extra edge to it because it's Zoro and Zoro is his in a way no one else quite is.
Sanji hovering, always something in his hands because his way of caring is food. The pain usually takes away Zoro's appetite but it's the best way Sanji knows to heal.
Luffy curled around Zoro when he naps on deck or when they go to sleep at night, trying to make sure nothing hurts and reassure them both that Zoro's okay.
Both of them running a critical eyes over Zoro because infection is a whole beast of its own. They want to make sure that if there's even a hint of one, they catch it as soon as possible.
Touching Zoro constantly because if they feel tense muscles they know he's hurting and if he's running a fever they can work on cooling it down.
🌊
The strawhat crew holds a grudge against a few people. Most of them obvious but always at the top is Garp, Blackbeard, Judge, and Mihawk.
Because they don't know exactly what went on while they were all separated for 2 years but they hold Mihawk accountable for Zoro's eye, even if he wasn't the one behind that particular scar.
They know Zoro felt all of it and they weren't there with him. And anyone who is responsible for that kind of pain to one of the crew goes right on the shit list.

Tumblr media
Faithfulness and resoluteness.
You and Zoro.
The two of you are held in high regard as the oldest crew members, with you joining only a few days after Zoro. Dependable and resilient, should any troubles find them on the seas, the crew knew they could always rely on you two. The sentiment is shared between you and Zoro. Time and time again, Zoro proved himself worthy of the mantle of first mate, making agonizing decisions for the betterment of the crew when even Luffy couldn’t. He was a surprising voice of pragmatism in the hardest of times, something you appreciated him for.
Zoro’s opinion of you ran deep as well. Steadfast, you were a beacon in the darkest times, an outstretched hand always offered to any nakama in need. Without hesitation, you always had the right words to breathe new life into the resolves of those around you.
It’s a deep respect that’s built off watching each other defeat every obstacle to persevere despite the difficult nature of having such large dreams in a vast ocean that only knows to crush the people that enter its waters. It’s something primal as you watch in titillation as Zoro dominates his adversaries with his iron will, something Zoro reciprocates with a voracious gleam in his eyes any time he fought alongside you.
That respect for each other would sometimes turn into something mischievous. Two tigers testing the limits of each other’s boundaries, teeth bared at the anticipation of gaining ground. Friendly competition the two of you called it – the crew called it anything but. The two of you were people who, once you set your mind to something, would chase the ends of the world for it. This included winning childish competitions. It was impossible to break the two of you apart when you decided to sink your teethes into each other like snarling pups. The point was proven early into your journey, during the banquet at Vivi’s castle, an incident that would aptly be named the Drinking Contest Incident of Alabasta, where the two of you were goaded by Usopp into seeing how many barrels of alcohol each of you could consume.
'Surely they won’t go too far' Usopp thought.
He was proven wrong when both you and Zoro neared the bottom of the second barrels, only taking a break to puke in the Royal Alabastan Gardens before going back to drinking – health be damned. The night ended in you and Zoro out cold, laid out on your sides as to not choke on your own vomit while Chopper flittered about, panicking that the two morons might actually die in his care. After seeing Chopper’s visage overcome hysterics, face streaked with tears and snot, Nami beat the both of you over the head the next day. She sternly put her foot down on any future y/n and Zoro competitions. The rest of the crew dutifully agreed that you and Zoro were not to be trusted. It only took two more incidents for you and Zoro to admit they were right. It was purely out of self-preservation, lest the two of you not even survive to see your dreams fulfilled. Occasionally the competitiveness would rear up, but time had tempered the two of you. The both of you found less and less things worth fighting over, no longer did you fight over bottles of wine and sake, instead choosing to share.
Life was funny in that way.
****
You were on your 5th bottle of wine and Zoro on his 7th, not that you were counting.
Of course not.
The warm embrace of alcohol has long since settled in your flesh, the balmy air adding to the flush of your cheeks. You found yourself swaying to the beat of the Shandorian drums, beat thrumming in your veins. Drunken eyes watched as your crewmates and the Skypeians dance around the bonfire, care thrown to the wind. You glaze over the figure of Usopp surrounded by a group of children, no doubt enthralling them with a legendary tale of Captain Usopp, commander of 8000 troops.
A mixture of the wine and altitude have you searching for a place to sit, wanting to not fall on your ass in spectacular fashion. Your head swivels about, you see Robin in deep discussion with Gan Fall and rule that out. Another turn a few degrees to the left and you spy Zoro sitting alone. Fueled by bad ideas and Skypeian wine, you grab another bottle before settling on the log next to Zoro, leaving a comfortable distance in between. The rich tannins of the wine dance delightfully on your tongue, and you decide to take another pull before you offer the bottle to Zoro. He accepts, your fingers minutely brushing against each other at the pass. He takes a moment to read the label before taking a swig, throwing his head back, the prominent veins of his neck highlighted by the firelight. Traitorous eyes linger for too long at the bob of his adams apple. The two of you sit in comfortable silence, passing the bottle back and forth, watching the silly antics of your crew as they celebrate this hard earned win.
Zoro is the first to break the lazy pattern of back and forth with the wine. Your outstretched arm aches as you hold the bottle out for a mite too long. The confused look you offer him goes unanswered as well, the swordsman a million miles away. Your eyes follow his gaze and you can’t help the feeling that settles into your stomach with the wine.
It’s Sanji.
He’s staring at Sanji.
Sanji, who is bathed in orange glow from the bonfire, his porcelain skin flushed with pink like an angel dusted it over his cheeks. Emotions well inside of you, flooding into an ugly feeling that you found yourself wadding in. Not wanting to bother with the messiness of it all, you brashly decide to down the rest of the bottle, hoping that the burn of the alcohol would drown everything out. To hell with feeling bad on a night as good as this.
Unfortunately, like a whore on the day that the rent is due, the feelings don’t stop bothering you, nagging constantly in the inner cogs of your mind. Inhibited by the mind meddling nature of wine, your mouth opens and words you don’t recognize tumble out.
“Got a crush?”
Your fishing attempt snags you a gaping, sputtering Zoro. Fuck, now you wish you hadn’t said anything at all. Zoro’s hilarious dumbfounded expression only soothes your heart a tiny bit.
Unrestrained, a loud cackle rips out of you, another cheap cover to hide the hurt radiating through you. It seems to further Zoro’s embarrassment, the man’s cheeks flushing a pretty red. In an attempt to get even, he snatches the bottle from you only to realize it was empty.
“Asshole.”
The only response he gets from you is another cackle. It takes a few moments for you to settle down, letting the silence envelope the two of you again.
“If you like him so much, why don’t you tell him?”
You pick at the skin near your nails, an ugly habit.
“Tch. It’s not that simple.”
You roll your eyes, of course it was simple. Zoro was just an idiot. Irritation lingers like a fog in your mind as the wine fails to numb your pesky feelings. Quickly, you lose yourself, letting various fleeting thoughts pull you in every direction. Zoro doesn’t comment on your sudden silence, keeping you company while you think.
“What if I like him too?”
Two heads turn and eyes lock. Zoro’s eyes are dark and indecipherable to you as the firelight danced on them. Seconds tick by but neither of you drop your gaze.
“Marimo! Y/n-swan! Try these!”
Two pairs of eyes break their battle, swinging over to catch the sight of Sanji walking over, an excited wide grin gracing his delicate features. His signature cigarette firmly between his white teeth and in each hand he holds a skewers of meat and vegetables.
The blond thrusts a skewer to the both of you before sitting between the two of you. You examine the skewer, it’s comprised of some sort of marinated red meat and vegetables that look like mushrooms and leeks. Steam wafts upward and with it the smell of something peppery and tangy.
“The flavors are something I’ve never tried before! I asked them and they say that they use a combination of pink peppercorns and a citrus called the hand of god” Sanji prattles on, his enthusiasm palpable. You and Zoro watch him, engrossed in the boyish wonder on his face. Pairs of eyes meet again in a fragile moment. You have no words for Zoro and he has none for you, yet you know that the two of you understand each other. He studies you intensely before offering you a solid nod, one that you reciprocate. The cook chatters on, inhibitions lowered by the alcohol, oblivious to what was happening only a few inches from him.
****
The next few islands pass by uneventfully, both you and Zoro hesitant to make a move. It ends up an awkward dance around each other and Sanji, a weird tango of frustration whose steps involve having enough nerve to track down the blond but suffering from cold feet when it came to talking with him. It’s only after the events of Water 7 that you decide to muster up the gumption to try. Life was too short for you to shy away from the things you wanted, and you could tell Zoro decided the same.
“Sanji-”
The cook’s ears perk up at the melodic notes of your voice, heart stirring. He turns his attention from the prep work in front of him, meeting your face with a playboy smile.
“Yes, my sweet angel?”
“Do you mind if I watch you cook lunch?” you ask, the innocent tilt of your head making Sanji’s heart palpate. You wanted to watch him cook?
“O-of course my angel!”
You beam and it makes his heart beat rapidly. With gentle footsteps you pad into the kitchen. The two of you fall into a comfortable silence, the sounds of Sanji’s knifework taking over the small space. After a few minutes, his curiosity picks up and he peeks out of his periphery to see you standing a mere few inches from him, leaning close enough to touch his arm. He works on autopilot, hands relying on muscle memory as he prepped the vegetables for lunch. Your hands are clasped behind your back in your usual pose. For anyone else, Sanji would preen like a peacock, ready to show off his honed skills, but under the lens of your inscrutable eye, he feels so exposed. Trying to stave off sudden uncomfortableness of the silence his mouth opens, and he finds himself rambling about cooking techniques. Ever patient, you nod and comment in all the right places.
While Sanji loved every lady on the ship, in the deepest crevices of his heart, he would readily admit that you were his favorite. Your soft smiles of encouragement, the way you entertained his foolish notions, all of it made Sanji’s heart turn into goo in his chest.
Gods, you had managed to carve out your place in his heart so early, the memory often rewinding and replaying in his head. It hadn’t been long since he left Baratie to make his home on Merry Go, back when Luffy still had the habit of picking out the vegetables in all his dishes. You chided the boyish captain on his behalf. The first bits of kindness he received from someone who wasn’t Zeff or the Baratie cooks.
“Luffy, Sanji worked hard to cook us this food. Don’t disrespect his efforts by being picky.”
After dinner that you offered him an earnest smile, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
“In case anyone hasn’t told you yet, you’re doing a wonderful job Sanji. Dinner was lovely.”
It made him feel like the same little boy stuck in the North Blue watching his mother eat his food for the first time. The grip you had on him had only tightened since then.
“You know Sanji, every time you cook, I find myself understanding you a bit more.”
Hands plating an intricate dish pause.
“A-ah why do you say that y/n-swan?”
Sanji’s heart seizes as you take one of his hands into yours, fingertips running over callouses and burn scars. An action so tender that for just a moment, Sanji could fool himself into thinking it was the touch of a lover. Your heated gaze focuses on his hands with a look of fondness, it causes him to reel, mind spinning with possibilities of what this could all mean. Did you want this just as much as he did? Did you spend your nights staring at the ceiling and thinking of him like he did with you?
“I understand why you don’t want to fight with your hands. When you cook it’s like a symphony, every movement you take, every dish you make, it’s all meant to nourish and heal. You’re built to love Sanji, not destroy.”
The lump in his throat grows until it’s too painful for him to swallow, edges of his vision blur with tears, threatening to fall. Was he so transparent that you could read him so well? A few words and you had flayed open his very existence, his heart and soul. The words you say mean more than you’ll ever know. His ocean eyes search yours hoping to find an answer to his lingering questions.
BANG
He jumps, the two of you breaking apart at the loud noise, any tension in the room dissipating.
“OIII SANJIII!! LUUUUNCH!!!”
Luffy catapult himself at Sanji, wrapping his limbs around him like an unruly octopus, much to the ire of the chef. Sanji tries to wrestle himself out of Luffy’s grasp, angrily yelling at him.
The loud noise startles you, your heart pounding a mile a minute in your chest. You marinate in the sudden surge of adrenaline for too long before you feel a hand on your wrist. Eyes trace it back to its owner – Zoro. He assesses you for a few seconds.
“You alright?”
Thud. Thud. Thud. Your pulse pounds in every inch of you and your lungs greedily swallow air and hold it in an attempt to calm down. Your thoughts race and you feel the distinct feeling of regret. Regret that you didn’t make a bolder move.
A wobbly smile is the answer Zoro gets, one that makes him frown ever so slightly. The sight makes him rub circles on your wrist with his thumb. The contact soothes you and you’re grateful that you had the swordsman as such an understanding friend. You settle a free hand on his, offering him a brighter smile, hoping to lessen his worries.
“I am.”
The two of you unaware of the pair of eyes that witnessed the scene.

Sanji stares from the railing of the Thousand Sunny, the light of the setting sun casts an ethereal rosy light over the glimmering ocean. Pinks, reds, and blues mashing into a myriad of colors that all swirl like glittering gems.
From the upper deck, it isn’t the sun or the ocean that Zoro admires. It’s the glow of the sun on Sanji’s face. His eyes trace the elegant slope of his nose, drinking up the way the sun dyes his fair hair into a strawberry blond. His mouth goes dry, his palms becoming sweatier by the minute. Plucking up some courage, Zoro crosses the distance of the Sunny, stopping next to the object of his desires.
“The sunset is beautiful isn’t it.”
Zoro wants to cut out his tongue. What a lame comment. Sanji deserved better. Someone who could weave him a beautiful tapestry of words, words which don’t even exist in Zoro. After all he is a man of action and not platitudes.
Sanji hums out in agreement, never moving his eyes from the beauty of the scene in front of them.
They don’t talk much, but there’s an easiness to the quiet between them as they watch the sun inch closer into the horizon. The Sunny lurches at a particularly big wave and Sanji is caught off guard, wobbling a little. He’s steadied by a hand on the small of his back.
“Ah, thanks Marimo.”
“No problem, Sanji.”
His name on the swordsman’s lips gives him pause. Zoro almost never calls him by his name. Then he becomes acutely aware that Zoro hasn’t moved his hand, his palm is large and warm on Sanji’s clothed back. The contact is like lightning in his spine and for reasons unknown his heart stutters. He mildly wonders if he should say something, unsure of what the contact means for the two of them.
Deciding his brain feels too stuffed with cotton, Sanji fishes out his lighter and cigarette from his suit jacket pocket, hoping for some clarity in the nicotine. Stupidly, he holds the pack out for Zoro offering him a cigarette, despite knowing the swordsman doesn’t smoke. Before he can rescind the gesture, Zoro’s free hand takes a cigarette from him. Their eyes meet and he finds Zoro’s are unreadable as always. The other man brings the cigarette closer to his face, rolling it in his fingers as he examines the tobacco stick. A laugh huffs out of Sanji’s mouth as he lights his cigarette. He inhales precious smoke, and in the haze of his exhale, his eyes linger a little too long at the sight of the cigarette loosely held in between Zoro’s chapped lips.
“Here let me light it for you.”
Sanji holds the lit lighter out, only for the wind to snuff it. He tries again, flicking the flint a few more times. Each time the wind picks up, extinguishing the flame. A scowl overcomes Sanji’s face.
“Here, we can just-”
Sanji looks up from the lighter at the sound of Zoro’s voice. The other man pulls his hand from Sanji’s lower back and Sanji becomes conscious of the fact that the action leaves him sad at the loss of contact. That’s when he feels the green haired man’s large palm on the back of his neck, searing into his skin as he steadies him. Zoro leans in closer bringing his cigarette to the tip of Sanji’s.
A cigarette kiss.
Sanji’s brain is a mess. ‘It’s just the damn Marimo’ he tries to reason with himself, but he feels heat lick at the apples of his cheeks.
He’s blushing. At Zoro.
The man’s actions have flustered him to his core, tongue too heavy to form words. His eyes soak in the sight of Zoro slowly sucking in – ‘holy shit, holy shit, holy shit, what the fuck?!’ his mind screams at him.
The man offers Sanji no reprieve, continuing his hold on Sanji as he made sure the of his cigarette is lit before breaking apart. Sanji’s world is tilted on its axis, heart pounding so furiously he feels it in his fingertips. He half expects it to burst through his sternum.
Zoro gives an experimental breath before hacking out a loud cough, sound reminiscent of a dying walrus. The scene is so jarring, how the man could go from turning Sanji’s brain into mush to coughing out a lung. It makes him laugh so hard he’s clutching his stomach, abs cramping as he tries to greedily swallow in more air.
It was so Zoro.
Through the tears of laughter, Sanji can see pink dusting Zoro’s face, clearly embarrassed by his lack of experience.
“Take slow inhales, mix it in with some fresh air, it gets easier after a while.”
Sanji’s smile is so wide it hurts his cheeks. He watches Zoro attempt again, the man’s body tensing in an effort to not cough out all the smoke.
“This is horrible Sanji. I don’t know how you do this every day.”
All Sanji can offer the man is a chuckle. He takes in the sight of the swordsman, bathed in the dying light of the sunset, shadows accentuating the strong lines of his face. He’s about to respond when he hears Nami’s voice calling for him.
“Sanji, the bathroom is free if you want to shower!”
He turns, giving her his undivided attention.
“Thank you Nami-chwan! You look especially beautiful after your bath!”
When Sanji turns back, Zoro is no longer facing him instead looking out into the ocean where the last glimmers of the sun fade into the horizon.
“Go ahead and take your bath, cook.”
Sanji manages a nod, feeling odd at the sudden change in attitude. Things had felt so great between them, so what happened? His feet feel heavy as he walks towards the bathroom. Halfway, he doesn’t know why but he spins on his heel, wanting to confront the man.
He wishes he didn’t.
He sees you with Zoro, again.
The two of you huddled close, your hand caressing the swordsman’s cheek. The both of you bathed in the beginnings of moonlight. Sanji’s heart clenches painfully.
It was just like before – Vinsmoke Sanji always comes in last.
****
Things progress at a snail’s pace. Both you and Zoro are seemingly thwarted at every turn whether it be Sanji rejecting your advances or being interrupted in the most inopportune times. A silver lining for Zoro comes in the form of you. Despite being his rival in love, you’re there to pick up the pieces of him, little pep talks flowing from your lips. He hopes that he’s done the same for you. The best of his efforts goes into repairing the shaky smiles on your face, splitting bottles of wine with you as the two of you gripe about love. It’s an odd routine, but one that Zoro finds himself not minding. There is comfort and familiarity in your company.
That was until the crew step foot on Sabaody Archipelago. Everything came to a grinding halt at Sabaody. It was an utter disaster. Not even a foot into the New World and the Grand Line had chewed the crew up and spat them back out.
Panic sets Zoro’s bones the minute he wakes up. Thoughts of his nakama rushing through his brain at breakneck speed. Were you all safe? Did you guys make it off Sabaody? Zoro keenly feels the loss of his crew, guilt seeping into every crack in his heart. If only he had been stronger - strong enough to defeat Bartholomew Kuma on Thriller Bark, strong enough to carry everyone’s dreams on his back.
He spends two days lost in the maze of a castle that weird Ghost Girl brought him to, trying desperately to find his swords. He squashes down the invasive thoughts attempting to claw its way into his mind – were you all even still alive? It doesn’t help that the girl, Perona he finds out is her name, keeps giving him directions that seem to get him lost even further. Frustration bubbles under his skin. He is wholly useless, a feeling that is reaffirmed when he is defeated by the humandrills, his only hope of reaching his friends dashed by his own inadequacy.
When he feels like things couldn’t get worse, he hears about Ace. Zoro wants to scream, to dig his fingers into his chest and rip out his own beating heart. Frustration, fury, despair – it all whirls inside of him for Luffy. How could things have gone so wrong?
Zoro tries hard not to wallow in his sadness. He beats down his pride and grovels to Mihawk, begging the man he wants to defeat one day to teach him, to make him into a man worthy of being called Luffy’s nakama.
Time flows, and slowly but surely, Zoro adapts to his life on the deserted island. Mihawk is a fair teacher and his brutal teaching methods have Zoro progressing faster than even he could admit. Although the lack of alcohol grates on his nerves. Though he would never admit it out loud, Perona isn’t too bad either when she isn’t annoying him.
He spends his days training, eating, and sleeping, a routine that isn’t unfamiliar to him, but his mind remains plagued by the brewing thoughts of you and Sanji.
His mind goes in cycles, starting with hopes that you two are alright. Surely you’re safe, Zoro’s mind doesn’t want to can’t think of the alternative. He wonders if Sanji has found himself on an island with enough food, cold fear nestled in his heart at the idea of the cook going without. He hopes you have extra blankets at night, his mind supplying him images of your shivering body on Drum Island, lips tinged blue.
The months gruel onward and late at night, when the world is silent and his body aches from the brutal beatings from Mihawk, Zoro imagines your soft touches, a comforting hand on his shoulder when things went wrong. He dreams of the bottle of sake he desperately wants to split between you two, talking about any and everything. He wants to see your smile.
On days where the sun blisters in the sky and Mihawk forces him to help with the farming, Zoro wonders if Sanji would be impressed. Would he give Zoro that smug grin of his, telling him to till the farm with appreciation for the food it grew? Would he be brave enough to commandeer Mihawk’s kitchen, lecturing to Zoro the entire time he cooks about how he needs to eat the right macronutrients to gain muscle. Zoro luxuriates in what-if’s and could-be’s, day in and day out.
He spends the hours of sundown to sunrise, staring at the cold grey stone ceiling of the castle pondering in a mire of his own doing. He wanted both of you but was desperate to hold onto what you and him had together, while craving every potential what-if with Sanji.
He stews in his feelings for months, unable to take himself out of his own head.
On a day where Mihawk is away on business, Zoro finds himself in the dining room, sun barely rising into the sky. Perona was nice enough to fix breakfast for the two of them but it only puts Zoro in a worse mood. His body is gripped in nostalgia, heart aching to wake up to the sound of Luffy and Chopper’s chatter in the morning, to pass by a sleep drunk Usopp and Franky grumbling out good mornings, and to make his way to the kitchen and have a plate be handed to him by the star of half his dreams. Increasingly lost in his own thoughts, he’s oblivious to Perona’s pouting.
“Ugh! You’re such a jerk!”
Perona waits a few seconds, giving the mosshead time to come to his senses and apologize but minutes tick by and she finds herself empty handed. In childish anger, her hands slam on the table.
“What the hell? Aren’t you going to thank me for breakfast??”
She is only given a wave, the gesture vaguely dismissal.
“Okay you idiot, what is it? What could possibly be so important that you forget to thank the person who saved your life?”
The question gives Zoro pause. He deliberates in his head a bit, uneasiness mashing in the pit of his stomach. To let someone know about his problems felt too vulnerable, but against his will the words of his dilemma spill out of him like an ugly fountain with fat babies on it, like the ones he saw plastered all over Water 7.
Perona regards him for a few minutes before rolling her eyes.
“You’re not very smart, are you?”
“The fuck?”
“You’re a pirate idiot. Being a pirate means you take what you want, you don’t need to share. So have both, duh. Who says you can’t have a boyfriend and a girlfriend?”
Whiplash. His brain rattles in his skull at Perona’s words. How ridiculous. This is what he gets for telling her his problems. He opens his mouth to tell her off but then the words sink into him.
Both? He could have both?
They were both strong enough to protect themselves, their bounties reflecting their skill, determined enough to pursue their own goals. They, more than anyone on the ship, knew the stakes of his dreams, not once had they ever discouraged him. Plus, the thought of the two of them tangled in a mess of naked limbs beckoning Zoro to join was a particularly tasty thought.
Perona shoots him a smug smile.
“You’re welcome~”

Nerves rattle through your body as you disembark from the small sailboat, steered by the kind martial arts master that found you two years ago. The elderly woman pats your hand in reassurance.
“Don’t worry dearie, I’m sure your boys are waiting for you. Now you make sure you stay safe and don’t forget to always pack a scarf.”
You give her a bright smile.
“Thank you so much, for everything. I’ve learned so much! Please make sure you tell everyone I got here alright.”
The woman matches your smile before waving you off. Excited feet don’t hesitate to quickly wander down Sabaody, taking you down semi familiar paths. You count the grove numbers in your head, excitement gripping your stomach as you finally arrive.
Grove 13.
The sight of the wooden sign of Shakky’s Rip-Off Bar shoots fresh nerves into your veins, anticipation ripe in your head. You take a deep breath, steeling your nerves before you push open the door to the bar.
Your eyes skim over the empty chairs and booths, finally settling on a green clad figure at the bar. Time slows and your heart threatens to burst out of your sternum, you can feel your pulse in your ear, not even hearing his name tumble out of your lips. The sight of him makes tears sting the corners of your eyes.
Zoro.
His signature three swords are still affixed to his side, hilts glinting in the low light of the establishment. A head turn makes the three golden strands of his earrings collide into each other. He stands tall and proud, two years of effort reflected in his new silhouette. You run to him, finding half of everything you had missed in the last two years in his hug. Tears run down your cheeks, absorbed by the green of his outfit, staining the fabric dark. You can’t bring yourself to care.
He still smells like steel and sea salt.
He presses a kiss to your hair, his large hands rubbing circles on your back as he pulls you closer to his chest. After seconds that feel too short, you part from him. You soak in the sight of his familiar features. Your eyes trace over the new scar over his eye, the strong line of his jaw, the slight bump in his nose. Hands wander up his biceps and you can’t help but ghost your fingertips over the newly acquired scars present on exposed skin. Fingers smooth over every part of him, his wide chest, his corded arms, all of it – desperate to memorize him after these years apart.
Lost in the moment, you miss the way Rayleigh and Shakky sharing a knowing smile.
Fingers interlaced, you let Zoro lead you to his room at a small bed and breakfast in Grove 17. You aren’t even mad when he gets lost twice, taking you down a winding path to Grove 7 instead. You missed this, the idiosyncrasies that come with living with someone, spending every waking hour together.
Once in the room you let your small bucket bag tumble to the floor. You wait patiently until Zoro has a chance to take off his katanas before you throw yourself into his arms again, the two of you tumbling into the small bed. His entire presence offers you a familiar comfort. He felt like home. You can tell he feels the same, the way he holds you tightly, as if you would disappear from his arms at any moment. He buries his nose into your hair and his chest moves from under you as he inhales. The two of you stay like that for several minutes, the silence finally being broken by Zoro.
“Y/n, I don’t want to be without you.”
Shivers shoot down your spine.
“What about Sanji?”
“Him too. We’re pirates y/n, we take what we want.”
You bury your face deeper into his muscular chest, heart fluttering in your own chest.
“Good, I don’t know what I’d do without my two boy toys.”, your words come out muffled and you can feel the vibrations as Zoro chuckles.
Lifting your head, you give him a lascivious grin. His eyes are as intense as ever, but you find that this time around you can pin down the emotions within because they’re the same as yours.
Your lips meet his in a kiss that he doesn’t hesitate to accept. His lips are warm and chapped, a combination you quickly find yourself addicted to. Your arms move on their own, snaking around his neck as his wrap around your waist, bringing you in closer to him. The both of you move feverishly, desperate to make sure this moment didn’t evaporate into the ether. His kiss is hungry, ferocity over taking you before he seems to rein it back in. He coaxes out a whimper from you as his hands wander to your bottom before pulling your hips in close to his, letting you straddle his waist. You let out a gasp as you feel his hardness grinding on the sensitive flesh of your inner thigh. Utilizing the last braincell that isn’t drenched in hormones, you place a placating hand on his chest.
“Patience. Not without Sanji.”
To your surprise he is in agreeance with you, but he gives you a devilish grin all the same.
“Doesn’t mean I don’t get to kiss what’s mine.”
Laughter peels out of you, as Zoro smashes his lips into the crook of your neck, biting and sucking the sensitive flesh in a manner that was both ticklish and sensual.
“You’re right, it doesn’t.”
****
Sanji doesn’t know what to think. Reality was, he saw this was coming, the signs glaring at him two years ago.
You and Zoro were together.
The whole crew seemed to know it too.
“Yohohoho! They’re quite a handsome couple, don’t you agree Miss. Robin?”
“They do complement each other quite well.”
Everyone has seen the two of you look at each other, shooting puppy eyes at the dinner table, and of course Sanji is distinctly aware of the way Zoro takes your small hands into his, a rogue thumb tracing idle circles into your smooth skin. It’s all too intimate for two people who are “just crewmates”.
Sanji’s heart is broken, shattered into a million tiny pieces and he doesn’t know where to begin to put it all back together. He was an utter fool for having clung onto hope for two years, spending his days daydreaming about how the pieces would all fall into place, the two of you accepting his confessions of undying love.
Stupid, stupid Sanji.
The voices of his past mock him. How could anyone love stupid Sanji. How silly of you to even dream. Nestled in the sicker part of his brain, he wonders who he’s more jealous of – you or Zoro.
It should be him, his jealousy addled self whispers to him in the dead of night but Sanji knows it’s his fault for even daring to dream. The two of you were better off together. So, every day, he wakes up, chokes down the feelings that threaten to well up inside of him, and continue as if nothing was wrong.
He had been doing it well enough for the last twenty odd years, what’s the harm in a few more?
****
It doesn’t take long for an opportunity to present itself to you and Zoro.
The Sunny docks on a small island to restock on basic supplies and through divine intervention the stars align. Zoro catches the last vestiges of Sanji’s conversation with Nami, picking up the tidbit that he would come back to the ship immediately after he procured fresh meat and produce. Taking his chance, he offers himself and you up for guard duty, a move that garners no protest or suspicion.
After the crew clears out, the anxiety builds in your chest, your head spins and your palms feel clammy as the minutes pass by. Zoro doesn’t say it, but you could tell he felt the same, his rough fingers constantly flitting over the hilt of his katanas. You and Zoro split a bottle of sake for liquid courage, downing it like teenagers instead of passing it along at your usual leisurely pace. The sake helps a bit, dulling down the feelings.
The two of you are on the upper deck when you hear the click of expensive dress shoes on wood. Peeking, you spy Sanji’s golden hair as he reboards the ship. You signal Zoro with a nod of your head. The two of you break, Zoro to the kitchen to fetch Sanji and you to the women’s dormitory. Long strides quickly lead you to where you need to be, settling down on the blue comforter of your bed.
In the midst of fiddling with a loose thread on one of your sheets, you hear the door open. Nerves tingle through your body as you see Sanji’s figure enter.
“A-ah y/n-swan! Marimo said you needed help with something?”
He takes a few strides, standing at the foot of the bed you were sitting on. The door clicks as Zoro shuts it behind him. Sanji sucks in a breath, suddenly feeling trapped in this confined space, anxiety pooling in his stomach.
“O-oh! Well Sanji you see… Um, w-well we..”
You bite your lips, fingers picking at the skin near your nails, something Sanji picks up on. He can’t help the prickling of curiosity in the back of his brain. What got you, the very definition of calm and collected, so nervous?
“We want you, Sanji.”
It’s Zoro this time, the timber of his voice nearly reverberating in his bones as he becomes aware of how close the man stands behind him. You nod in agreeance.
Sanji’s brain short-circuits.
What?
Did he hear that right? You both wanted him?
Sanji searches your face for any inkling of deception but your cheeks are flush and you avoid his eyes out of nervousness.
“Don’t over think this.” Zoro murmurs into his ear, hot breath fanning over the sensitive skin. The other man’s large hands come from behind him and roam on his chest, going over the silky fabric of his suit. The action pulls him in closer to Zoro, sending shivers up his spine. It doesn’t take long for Sanji to make up his mind.
So be it.
He’ll take whatever scraps you have to offer him. Maybe if he gets a taste, it’ll be out of his system, and he’ll be free to pursue all the beautiful men and women he encounters in his travels. Maybe if he closes his eyes, he can imagine that this is something more than just sex.
He continues to feed himself the shallow lies.
“Yeah, let’s do it.”
At his affirmation, Sanji feels hand on his head, turning him into a hungry kiss. Chapped lips meet his and Sanji can faintly taste the sweetness of sake on Zoro’s breath. It’s everything Sanji has dreamed of. In the midst of their kiss, Sanji feels your hands undoing his tie, and unbuttoning his jacket and dress shirt. An impatient tongue spears into his mouth, coaxing his own tongue into a dance, drawing a moan from the blond man. A hot tongue presses into his neck and he can’t help the gasp that rises to his lips. In contrast to Zoro, your lips are soft and silky. You stamp fire into his skin with every kiss, setting his body into flames.
Breathless, he breaks the kiss with Zoro only to have you pull him into another one, gentler but no less voracious.
He’s aware of Zoro helping him shed his shirt and jacket, but his head feels stuffed with cotton, not quite to registering any of it. A soft tongue mingles with Sanji’s and delicate hands caress the bare skin of his chest, each movement leaving gooseflesh in its wake. The light flicks to his nipples have him groaning into your mouth. The kiss breaks with a soft sigh from you, and Zoro surges forward to capture you a playful kiss, sandwiching Sanji between the two of you. The friction of the two bodies, one soft and one sturdy, melts his mind, his pants feeling tighter by the moment.
A larger rougher set of hands replace the soft ones on his chest as you kneel in front of Sanji, making quick work of his belt. You lavish his abs with floaty kisses and occasional playful nibbles, following down the trail of soft downy hair until you reach his boxers. You make quick work of that too, freeing his erection.
You nearly drool of the sight Sanji’s cock slapping against his belly, marking a spot on his belly with shiny precum. His cock is picturesque, like the men of the dirty magazines you used to buy as a teenager, a few shades darker than his porcelain skin leading into a dusky pink tip oozing slick. You give an experimental lick up the shaft before engulfing the tip in your mouth, making circles over it with your tongue. Sanji throws his head back, gracing you with a breathy pretty groan.
The salty taste of his precum ignites a fire deep in you, a need to taste more overcomes every sense. Driven by your baser instincts, you press down further, taking as much as you could until you feel him hit the back of your throat, eyes welling with tears as you try to stave off your gag reflex. His delicate fingers tangle into your hair, hands resting on your head. Pressed so close to Sanji his pubic hair tickles your lips and you can smell the clean rich sandalwood of his soap. You set a slow pace, looking up through dark lashes to observe Sanji’s expressions as he loses himself in the feeling of your mouth. Each circle of your tongue over the tip has him whimpering, his cheeks and chest flushed pink.
Not to be left out, Zoro joins you, kneeling in front of the blond man. You release his cock with a pop and stroke it lightly.
“Want a taste?”
Zoro gives a devilish smirk, coming in closer. He gives the tip kitten licks before slowly taking more of the length in his mouth.
“Tastes good doesn’t it?”
A muffled response has you grinning. You take a few moments take your own clothes off, only stopping to appreciate the sight of Zoro pouring his attention to Sanji’s cock. The contrast of the two men bubbles excitement in you, a longing finally quenched. Zoro is all muscle, posture and stance reflecting power and brutality, but Sanji’s is refined elegance, fluid even while motionless, muscles seemingly sculpted by a maestro.
Kneeling back down, you throw yourself into the fray of saliva and skin, taking one of Sanji’s balls into your mouth, earning a loud groan from the man. The two males’ intermingling musk cloying in your head, fogging up any thought you could muster. Sanji’s hips buck and Zoro gags, pulling another moan from the blond. You slowly suckle, running circles on the surface of his ball sack with your tongue before releasing it to lick up the shaft. Zoro meets you in a messy kiss with Sanji’s cock in the middle of two pairs of lips. Your tongues dance over the veiny surface of Sanji’s dick, occasionally skimming each other.
Sanji wants to throw his head back, to lose himself in the sensation of two mouths lavishing him with attention but he’s caught up in the sight of you and Zoro, your tongues fighting on his cock, hoping to find more skin to lick and suck at. The two of you work in synch, soon moving upward to suckle at the reddened tip of his cock.
“S-stop or I’ll cum” Sanji whines out, making you and Zoro share a laugh, shifting away from his sensitive cock to find each other in a kiss.
Feeling emboldened by the sexually charged energy, you saunter over to the bed, sitting and spreading your legs wide open. Sanji practically drools at the sight, stumbling over the clothes on the floor to get in closer.
Sanji slots himself between your legs, moving closer to kiss you. His lips are soft, and the hints of lingering tobacco pull you in for more. Sanji’s tender affection is a deluge you drown in, heart full you reciprocate keenly. He peppers kisses down your jawline before interspersing tender open mouth kisses on your neck. A hot tongue trails down further before capturing a nipple between his teeth. His actions are delicate, but they draw whimpers out of you, heat pooling between your thighs at the teasing. Sanji’s strong hands cup your breasts, massaging softly as his tongue runs circles around your hard nipples, dousing them in messy suckles.
He offers the same treatment to your other breast before trailing more kisses down until his head is settled between your thighs. You can feel his hot breath, a gossamer on your sensitive skin. The flat of his tongue licks a stripe through your folds and your back arches at the contact.
“Fuck angel, you’re so wet” he murmurs before diving back in, tongue working through your folds before encircling your clit.
“Mm fuck Sanji”, moans pour out of you endlessly, your hands tangling themselves in the golden silk of his hair.
His strong hands hold your hips steady as he begins to suckle at your clit, giving occasional kitten licks, as anticipated, the action has you bucking your hips, thighs tightening around his head as he tightens the coil in your loins, nerves dancing on fire.
Zoro’s calloused hands run over Sanji’s torso, earning a shiver from the man. His fingertips take time to appreciate the valley of muscles before moving to his hips, propping them up into position. Sanji is a mess of gooseflesh as rough fingers part his cheeks, exposing him to the other man. A hot tongue presses on his hole and Sanji lets out a gasp that’s muffled in your skin. The sensation is foreign as the tongue wriggles against his tight hole, but pleasure quickly finds him. Zoro’s tongue circles around his puckered hole, massaging and working the muscle, each move deliberate in driving Sanji further into a chasm of pleasure until he’s relaxed. Zoro intersperses it with licks from the flat of his tongue, the contrast drawing out whimpering moans from the blond. When he pulls away, Sanji whines.
“Get these wet for me.”
Sanji complies, taking his head out from your cunt to take Zoro’s digits in his mouth, tongue running over each individual one. Zoro grins at the sight of Sanji desperately sucking on his fingers while his goatee shines with your slick.
A whine from you has Zoro withdrawing his fingers from the other man’s hot mouth, allowing him to return to your needy hole.
Sanji returns to lavishing your clit with licks, before plunging a tongue deep in you hoping to taste more of your essence. Pressure against his puckered hole pauses him in the middle of his pussy eating. Your thighs tighten around him as you buck desperately against his mouth, hoping to find more friction despite his lack of action.
The breech of a large finger pulls a sound out of him, a mixture of a moan and a scream. You offer your own moan at the vibrations of Sanji’s on your clit.
Zoro presses kisses onto the skin of his buttocks, rubbing soothing circles on his skin as Sanji adjusts to the foreign intrusion. Slowly, he begins to rock his finger back and forth, occasionally stopping to spit on Sanji’s hole, an action that has the man’s dick twitching.
“Don’t worry Sanji he’ll be gentle. Won’t you marimo?” you tease, tone breathy from your own arousal at seeing Zoro knuckle deep in Sanji.
“We’ll see about that.”
Sanji turns to tell Zoro off, but the aforementioned man’s free hand grabs his head, shoving him back into your cunt, earning a squeal from you.
“Focus Sanji” Zoro gravels out, voice thick with lust. You snake your legs around Sanji’s head, heels resting on his mid back.
“He’s right Sanji, wanna cum so bad”
As if to demonstrate your need, your hips buck into his open mouth, hoping to find a tongue to grind into. Ever the gentleman, Sanji grants your request, eating you out with renewed vigor.
Zoro continues to work his fingers into him, one finger becomes two, pumping becomes scissoring, and soon Sanji feels more stretched out than possible. Sanji lets out loud moan after moan into your clit when he feels the man continuously brush his prostate. His mouth is messy with saliva and your slick, jaw aching as he continues to devour you. You reward him with looks from dark lashes glimmering with tears, your soft skin flushed by his ministrations. Pretty whines of his name spill out from your lips, urging him on as you chase your high. Your fingers clench onto his hair, the pain from the pulling mixing with the shockwaves that Zoro’s fingers provide him.
“A-ah right there S-sanji!”
Your tighten your legs around Sanji, a loud wail escaping you, hands fisting the blankets underneath as the coil in your belly snaps. Your orgasm wracks your body, vision going dark and heartbeat in your ear. Sanji’s tongue doesn’t stop, sending pins and needles through your nerves. Tears dot the corners of your eyes as he eats your overstimulated pussy out until you’re crying his name, begging him to stop. When he relents, you pull him into a kiss, tasting your own salty juices on his lips. You swipe your fingers over his messy slick shined lips and chin, offering them to Zoro who sucks on them with enthusiasm before letting go with a pop of his mouth.
You shimmy out from under Sanji, the blond pushing himself to all fours to offer you more space. Moving off to the side, you take in the sight of Zoro greedily pumping three fingers into Sanji who’s offering himself up like a dog in heat, whimpers pouring out of his mouth. Sanji’s dick is standing tall, precum dribbling out from the tip and onto the bedsheets where you can already spy a dark wet stain forming. You wrap a hand around his cock, thumb smearing the precum as you begin to pump up and down at a torturous pace. Sanji’s head buries into the bed as he lets out a string of expletives. You and Zoro share a naughty grin.
It doesn’t take long for Sanji to start moving his hips, desperately fucking himself into Zoro’s fingers trying to plunge deeper.
Zoro pulls out of him, and you take your hand off of his cock, Sanji is left whining at the loss of contact.
He isn’t left alone for long as Zoro pushes him into the bed before flipping him around so he’s on his back. Zoro devours the sight of Sanji’s hair pooling around him in a radiant halo, his cheeks flushed pink and dick twitching for attention. You come back and pass Zoro a bottle, lowering yourself to take the man’s dick in your mouth. Sanji’s eyes are glued to the sight of you bobbing your head along the impressive length of the swordsman. He watches as Zoro’s eye closes, clearly enjoying the way you’re taking all of him in. It isn’t long before the swordsman pulls you up and into a kiss.
Jealousy grips Sanji’s heart. Brook was right, the two of you were a beautiful couple.
You take the bottle from Zoro and pour out a viscous liquid onto your fingers, soaking them in it before wrapping it around Zoro’s cock, wetting him with long strokes.
“Fuc-k babe that feels good”
You offer Zoro one final kiss, a mischievous hand coming to smack the swordsman’s bottom sending him on his way to Sanji.
Zoro slots himself between Sanji’s legs, wrapping his hands around his ankles before yanking him, moving him closer to the edge of the bed. For the first time Sanji’s cock presses into Zoro’s and it twitches in excitement, the blond shudders at the contact. Zoro captures his lips into a kiss and Sanji loses himself in it. Sea salt and steel invade his senses, wiping his mind blank of every thought. Rough hands find their way to his slender hips, rubbing circles along the bone. Slim smaller fingers press against his hole, taking time to slather him in the same viscous liquid.
When Zoro breaks the kiss, Sanji opens his eyes, taking in the sight of the swordsman on top of him.
“You ready?”
He isn’t, but Sanji nods.
The blunt tip of Zoro’s cock on his hole startles him, and for the first time he begins to wonder how in the fuck he’s supposed to take all of it inside of him.
Then the push comes, a groan is ripped from his chest as Zoro breaches his tight hole for the first time. Sanji feels panic well inside of him. He’s going to be torn in two, there’s no doubt about it. The blond squirms in discomfort, and you’re quick to notice, kissing his tears away, interlacing your fingers with his.
“Shhh, it’s okay baby. You’re doing so good, such a good boy for us”
Zoro takes it at Sanji’s pace, allowing the blond to adjust to the stretch. One hand steadies his hip and the other strokes his calf, bringing it closer so the green haired man can press kisses into the pale skin.
Through the pain and panic, Sanji finds himself delusional. With his eyes closed and brain shut off, he imagines this is what it would be like to be loved by the both of you, drowning him in sweet nothings, soft kisses, and praises of what a good boy he is.
It takes a deliberate amount of self-control for Zoro to inch in slowly, the sight of Sanji’s greedy hole swallowing his shaft has anticipation pumping through his veins. He finds himself resisting the urge to pin the blond down and ravage him right there, to stretch his hole out so fully that it molds itself to the shape of Zoro’s cock and his alone. It isn’t long before he finds himself full sheathed, Sanji clenching around his dick, sending mind numbing pleasure into Zoro.
He holds him there, offering more time to adjust as he holds the blond’s hips steady. Letting go of Sanji’s hand, you happily move into the mix of bodies, sitting on top of Sanji, a hand guiding his length into you. As the tip of his dick enters you, Sanji throws his head back, wailing into his fist as he tries to quiet himself. Slowly, you sink into his length, engulfing him with tight searing heat. You’re tighter than he expected. You lean back, pressing your back into Zoro’s muscle bound chest as you turn to give him a kiss. He moans into your mouth as your tongues meld into each other.
In need of friction, you start a slow pace, moving up and down on Sanji’s length.
“F-fuck, oh my fucking g-god, feels ‘sgood” Sanji slurs out, tongue lolling and mind blank.
Zoro pulls from your kiss to start pumping into Sanji, ever impatient he fucks the blond with aggression. Unabashedly, the swordsman lets out a groan at the feeling, Sanji gripping his cock like a vise.
“Yer so fucking tight for me babe”
The blond isn’t shy about making noises, screams and moans mixing together as they leave his mouth. Zoro’s finger’s dig into the man’s hips to gain more purchase as he thrusts particularly deep, punching the air out of Sanji’s lungs, his legs spasming as Zoro jabs into his prostate. His body seizes, eyes rolling to the back of his head as he babbles out nonsense.
Sanji can’t think, he can barely breath with Zoro’s cock bullying him out of air only for your tight pussy to greedily clench, only allowing him short gasps of breath. He loses himself entirely in the feeling of being thoroughly used by the two of you, drool leaking out of the side of his mouth as eyes stare unfocused.
Sanji’s dick curves and hits the most sensitive parts of you, brushing along your g-spot as you bounce up and down on him, desperately chasing your own high.
“S-sanji, your cock f-feels so good baby”
Your words begin to slur as you feel the beginnings of an orgasm gather in your loins.
Sanji is the first to cum, letting out a loud wail as he bucks his hips upward, shooting his cum deep inside of you. The feeling of his warm cum flooding you makes your eyes roll to the back of your head, you keep riding him through his orgasm, oversensitive cock still hard as you grind down on it, losing yourself in the pleasure of his spongy dick tip grinding into your cervix. Zoro’s hand snakes around your hips, fingers pinching and rolling your clit, sending fireworks of pleasure into your spine, you hold onto Sanji, nails digging deep. Zoro’s thrusts get deeper, rocking you and Sanji. His breathing is choppy, moans spilling out of his lips as Zoro chases his own high.
Fireworks burst behind your eyelids as you feel the orgasm wrack your body, tears gathering in your eyes as your moan stutters in your throat. Sanji whimpers as your pussy milks his oversensitive cock for more cum. Zoro’s arm wraps around your waist and the other on Sanji’s thigh as he pulls both of you closer, the coil buried deep in his belly threatening to snap. He picks up the pace, relentlessly hammering inside of Sanji, the movement causing Sanji’s dick to rub the sensitive tissue of your cervix, gushing out the cum deep inside of you. The tight friction of Sanji’s hole is delicious as Zoro gives the last few pumps before burying himself as deep as possible in the blond, head resting on the crook of your neck as he came. His loud groan is muffled in your skin, stars shoot across his vision as he paints Sanji’s walls white, belly clenching as he slowly rocks the last vestiges of his orgasm out.
The three of you fall on the bed in a mess of limbs, sweat, and body fluids. You’re out of it until you feel an arm wrapping around you, hazily recognizing it as Zoro’s, bringing you and Sanji closer to him. You press yourself into his side, craving the comfort of his embrace. Your head rests on his wide chest listening to the pounding heartbeat as he presses a kiss into your sweaty hairline.
Zoro’s heart feels full as he watches his two lovers, fully sated and thoroughly fucked, resting in his arms, the trust they put in him is implicit.
The peace is broken when Sanji breaks out of the embrace, getting out of the bed picking up pieces of various strewn about clothing. The action startles you and Zoro out of your post orgasm glow, the two of you sharing a confused look.
“Where the fuck are you going?”
Zoro’s voice cuts through Sanji’s soul. Steeling himself, he looks up at the two of you, still wrapped around each other, clearly comfortable - a comfort Sanji can’t indulge in lest he lose more of his heart.
“Ah. Well, I figured you guys had your fun, right?” he weakly chuckles.
The silence is deafening.
“No need for me to linger while you tw-“
“Sanji when we said we wanted you we meant all of you. You mean more to us than just sex, we adore you.”
His body tenses in surprise, the shock written all over his face.
Zoro leans forward, grabbing Sanji’s hand to pull him back into the mess of limbs.
“C’mere and cuddle us Sanji.”
Sanji sinks into the cuddle, hungry heart full for the first time in a long time.

I’ve been wondering does Zosan x reader kids ever ask them if Chopper is their big brother? And if they say he’s not quite that he’s a value member of the crew, so the kids ask why they don’t adopt him since he seems to be closer to them, especially to Zoro and because Chopper either runs to him, Sanji, or reader when something happens?
I mean look at this baby!! Who wouldn’t want to adopt him right away?! 🥹🥰
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh Chopper my sweet baby boy. I'm so happy to do this, I took some creative liberties with it though so i hope you don't mind.
Reader is Female (Sorry), Zoro X Sanji X Reader, Poly relationship, established relationship. Their daughter is Kuina a 5 year old blonde haired girl with Sanji's eyebrows but reader's eye's and skin tone.
Warning: bad language, Hurt/comfort and Fluff.
Tumblr media
Luckily for the blonde haired girl she managed to avoid all three of her parents on the way into the medical office, she scrapped her knee while running around with Luffy and Usopp, she didn't tell the two about it, just that she was tired. Kuina knows they'll tell her parents who will react like they always do, her blonde daddy will freak out and fuss over her, her moss headed dad will glare mainly at uncle nose for letting it happen while her mother will try and control the situation all while trying to comfort her daughter. It doesn't matter if its a broken bone or a simple cut, she finds they overreact too much, Chopper on the other hand doesn't, he just deals with the problem. After cleaning out the cut and putting a band aid on it Kuina was good to go, with a large smile she jumps off the chair and hugs the doctor "Thanks Brother, i'm gonna go play now, do you want to join?" She asks pulling away to see the reindeer's wide eye'd expression, its true she see's him as a bother, but she's never called him that before, her smile drops at his face going from shocked to sad. "Kuina, I'm not your brother" Chopper states not knowing how to deal with the situation, Kuina looks at him confused before grabbing his hand and stepping closer "Not by blood but i think of you as my brother, Mum, Dad and Daddy also treat you like your theirs too so... can't we be siblings?" She asks with hope in her voice but Chopper sighs and leads her over to the chair getting her to sit down, so he can explain things to her. "They only treat me that way because other than you, i'm the youngest of the crew, In their eyes i'm a child but not their child"
Kuina sinks into her chair feeling slightly deflated by his words but shakes her head "That's not true, they treat you like they treat me." She tries to make him see it her way but Chopper hops up onto the chair in front of her holding her hands tight "Do you have parents? is that why we can't be siblings?" She asks trying to understand, the doctor looks up surprised at her words but decides to tell her hoping she will understand "I do but… you see before i ate the devil fruit i was just a normal deer but after, my parents and my herd didn't recognize me, they sore me as a monster, they hurt me and cast me out. The towns people also sore me as a monster, if it weren't for Dr Hiriluk and Dr Kureha i would have been alone. When i joined the crew i didn't fully trust them but over time i have come to see them as family but" Chopper stops for a second letting out a sigh, Kuina leans in squeezing his hand as her eyes tear up, she can't image anyone treating Chopper that "Kuina, its ok if you see me as a brother but I'd rather you not call me that out in the open, i don't want you parents to be forced into looking after me like i'm their kid. I do love them a lot and go to them when ever i need something but your their child… I'm not, being treated like their child is very different from being their actual child" The doctor tried to be open and honest even though it hurts him to say all this, of course he see's her three parents as parental figures, but they have Kuina to take care of, she's their flesh and blood not him.
The young girl tears up at his words before leaping forwards to hug her fuzzy brother, she still didn't fully understand, but she knows not to push him into anything although there is one thing she has to ask "They could adopt you? then you would be their real child" Chopper sighs at her words holding her tighter while rubbing her back "That's up to them not up to me" His voice sounds so sad but it wasn't a no, Kuina was now determined to find a way around this and to make him happy, at the moment though she doesn't know what to tell him, a part of her wanted to tell him to shut up and ignore all that silly stuff while the other part of her remembers what her Mother and Luffy would say. "I don't like the way you think but I'll respect your destitution" She whispers to him soon feeling the reindeer hug back slight tears welling up in his eyes. Kuina knows what she has to do, in order to understand she needs to take a note from her auntie Robin, gather as much information as possible not only to learn more and understand the situation but also how to go about things. She wants Chopper to feel the love she gets from her parents and to have a family who won't kick him aside, of course the crew is family but being able to call someone mum or dad can maybe help heal old wounds or make the future brighter. Pulling away from the hug Kuina smiles brightly at her fluffy brother while patting him on the head "Thanks for helping me out Teddy, I'll see you later ok" The young girl smiles wide before running out of the medical room before he can stop her.
The first person Kuina runs too is her Mother since she didn't want to walk out of the medical room into the kitchen, she knows that her blonde farther will be all over her with questions and looking her over for any kind of cut or bruise. Running across the deck and to the bedroom's she smiles upon hearing her Mothers humming coming from the bedroom. Putting the cover back on the bed your startled by Kuina's sudden voice right behind you "Mum, can i ask you something?" Jumping you place a hand over your heart while turning to face the young girl "Kuina! You get snakier everyday... what do you need sweetie?" You bend down picking your little girl up and place her on the freshly made bed, your proud that your daughter can sneak up on you but it also concerns you a little. "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks letting her legs sway a little while sitting on the bed, your eyes widen at her question but you manage to compose yourself enough to try and think of a coherent answer. "I've never really thought about it before... Why are you asking sweetie?" You ask hoping to find out why she suddenly has this idea in her head, shifting a bit Kuina looks down at her fiddling hands as you kneel down to be eye level with her "You, Dad and Daddy always treat him like your child and i see him as a brother so i was wondering why not adopt him, so he can officially be a part of our family" Understanding now you can't help but smile and let out a small laugh catching your daughter off guard. "I'm sorry sweetie but i would have to adopt the whole crew one way or another since i see them as family too. I see Nami as my sister and Jinbe as my uncle." You try to explain.
Kuina sighs while pushing her self foreword to get a little closer, her eyes seem sad which makes your heart break so before she can speak you take her hand in yours while the other goes to her cheek "Just because he's not officially family doesn't mean you can't think of him as your brother. I do think of him as my child, i love him like i love you but adopting him is something very different, he's his own person, and he's never shown an interest in having a parental figure. Either way i will always be there for him and i will always be there of you." Your words make Kuina nod understanding your point of view on things but there was still something else she has to ask. "Mom, What if.. What if Chopper wants you to adopt him?" Kuina asks looking up from her hands and into her Mothers eyes which soften slightly but their also kinda sad, you hate seeing your daughter upset but you can't sugar coat things for her. "Well if that were the case then me and your farther's would have to talk about it, and then we would have to talk about it with Chopper to see if he really wants it." You give your honest answer which the young girl nods at before pulling you into a hug, with a smile you hug back while rubbing her back "Thanks Mum, i think i understand now... I love you" Kuina smiles pulling away from the hug so you can cup her face basking in her beautiful smile " i love you too sweetie, I've got to get back to cleaning before dinner, ok" You state standing back up and letting your daughter jump off the bed and run out the door leaving you to clean the rest of the room.
The second person Kuina goes too is her green haired dad who she knows will be training in the crows nest, making her way up the ladder she pushes open the hatch, the sound of clinking mental and huffs of her farther fill the room as the young girl slips through the hatch. Zoro holds a large weight over his head while doing lunges, his daughter knows well enough to stay away while he's working out so takes a few steps back before calling out to him "Dad" Her little voice hits his ears making the swordsman smirk turning his head to the side as he stands up straight "What's up baby girl?" He asks placing his large weight down before grabbing a towel to wipe his hand and face "I wanted to ask you something" She calls out staying where she is until her Farther says otherwise, just because the weight is down it doesn't mean the area is safe for her. Wrapping the towel around his shoulders Zoro walks over to his daughter with a raised eyebrow which tells her to go on "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks looking up at her suddenly frozen farther, Zoro had to process her words for a second since it caught him off guard, its only when his daughter touches his hand that the swordsman snaps out of it. Zoro sighs and sits down cross-legged on the floor before pulling his daughter onto his lap "What's going on?" The swordsman asks giving his daughter a stern look wanting her to tell him exactly what's going on in her head. Leaning into her dad the swordsman wraps his arms around her knowing what ever is troubling her is making the young girl sad. "I see Chopper as my Brother but when i called him that he.. He said not to call him that, not because it makes him uncomfortable but because he's not your child. Even though you treat him like your own Chopper doesn't see himself as a part of our family but i want him to be"
With a sigh Zoro rubs her back unsure how to answer this but his daughter came to him for a reason instead of you or Sanji, so he feels like he has to answer in some way. "Baby girl, It's ok if you see Chopper as a brother and its true we treat him like a child at times, i am a little protective over him-" Kuina pulls away to give her farther a deadpan look making the swordsman glare down at his daughter "More than a little" Zoro can't help but let out a small laugh at her words before ruffling her blonde hair "I love Chopper like i love you and want both of you to be safe, i will always treat him that way and consider him family but" Zoro pauses for a second trying to choose his next words wisely while his daughter weights patiently for him, it takes a while but soon he manages to find the words "Chopper is a part of our family no matter what, but adopting him is a tricky subject since its not only a big destitution for us and Chopper to make but as well... Chopper is his own person, its down to him what he wants, if he wanted to be adopted then me, your mum and your dad will have to talk about things before we do anything else." Zoro sighs hoping his answer was good enough while pulling the young girl into his chest for a tight hug, Kuina hugs back with a smile starting to see a pattern forming but there's still one more person to talk too. "Thanks Dad, I love you" Kuina pulls away to look up at her farther with a big smile before stepping off his lap, the swordsman gives her a small smile back before ruffling her hair making the young girl giggle "I love you too, Baby girl" He calls out as the blonde girl runs to the hatch to head back down onto the deck.
The last person to talk too was her blonde farther so Kuina heads to the kitchen, its almost dinner time, so he'll still be cooking but her hope is Uncle Luffy won't be in there bothering him. Luckily when she opens the door its just her dad in the kitchen, Sanji looks up from the pot he's steering to see his daughter make his way over to him "My sweet girl, what do i owe the please" The cook smiles wide walking over to his daughter who holds her arms out for a hug "I want to ask you something" She states as her dad happily picks his daughter up holding the young girl close as he makes his way back over to the stove starting to steer the pot again "Of course my angel" Sanji places a kiss on her head holding her with one arm as he turns the heat down on the cooker "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" She asks but isn't surprised to see a shocked look cover his face, the cook gulps his mind running with answers and questions of his own, but he soon manages to shake his head and put Kuina down "I- Urm... I've never thought about it before" Sanji pulls over a chopping board with a small knife starting to chop up stuff for a salad, Kuina tilts her head to the side worried by her farther's reaction, but she pushes over a stool to stand on. Stepping up she places her hand on her farther's arm getting him to look at her "I'm sorry if i made you upset" Sanji's eyes soften at her words, putting down the knife he turns to his daughter and cups her face while placing a light kiss on her forehead "You didn't upset me, you just caught me off guard. Can i ask what made you think of this?" The cook asks pulling away from his daughter who nods at him.
Kuina tries her best to explain while pulling over the cutting board and knife wanting her help her farther cook, Sanji lets her do the salad as he tents to the other pots and food in the oven "I called Chopper Brother today, i see him as my brother, but he got really upset when i called him that. He told me about his family and that he doesn't want to you, mum and dad to feel forced into looking after him like he's your child if i call him brother around you. I tried to explain that you, mum and dad treat him like he's your child already but... I just thought maybe adopting him would make him feel more like family" Nodding Sanji stands next to her while steering the pot understanding a bit more now, "I'm glad you see him as family but you shouldn't push him into anything. Your such a sweet heart but some times pushing someone to make them happy doesn't always work, in fact it can make them sadder" The cook turns to his daughter not wanting to hurt her but also wanting her to know the truth, pushing some hair out of her face Sanji tries his best to make her understand Choppers side of things "Being abandoned by family is hard, its takes a long time to recover and to find something that fills that hole, I'd like to think the crew has filled that hole. Your right in saying that i treat Chopper like my own and its because i love him like he's my child but no one should force him into feeling the same way. I know it upsets you sweetie, seeing him sad but you can't force him to be happy" Kuina looks up at her farther with teary eyes while putting down the knife, she wants Chopper to be happy but maybe she'll do more harm than good if she pushes it.
Either way she still needs to know if they would adopt him if the reindeer wanted them too "W-what if he wants to be adopted, to be a part of our family but is too shy to ask?" She asks while rubbing her eye to try and stop the tears from falling, Sanji's heart breaks at seeing his little girl about to cry so quickly picks her up pulling the young girl into a tight hug "We'll if he does want to be adopted them we would have to discuss it as a family first, make sure everyone is on the same page, if he's too shy to ask then there's noting we can do other than wait until he's ready to ask. There's also the matter of paperwork which we wouldn't be able to do since were pirates so it would be more of a verbal adoption than an official one" Sanji sighs rubbing Kuina's back as she clings onto him while burring her head on his neck, she didn't know what to say, the plan she had has gone out the window and now she just feels helpless at the fact her furry brother doesn't feel like a part of their family even though her and her parents love him and want him to be a part of it. Sanji tries to sooth the little girl as tears start falling down her cheeks, he hates breaking her heart, but he can't lie to her, the door to the kitchen opens making the cook growl slightly about to yell at Luffy or who ever is about to walk in only to see you and Zoro walk on with very confused faces. On the way to the kitchen you spotted Zoro coming down from the crows nest so you waited for him hoping to talk about Kuina and her strange question only for the swordsman to beat you too it. The two of you had a talk about it but it only made the two of you even more confused so decided to head to the kitchen wondering if she's also talked to Sanji.
Kuina sniffles before pulling her head away form her blonde farther's shoulder to see who opened the door, upon seeing her tear stained face you run over to see if she's ok "Oh sweetie what's the matter?" you ask as Zoro quickly walks over his aura was more murderess than it was concerned, all he needed to know was who. "It's ok, she's not you" Sanji calmly states mainly looking at the swordsman hoping to stop that heavy aura the moss head is letting out "I'm sorry, i just want Chopper to be happy" Kuina lets out while trying to wipe her tears away, sighing you now understand she's asked all her parents the same thing, Zoro calms down when hearing this so takes a stop forward and places a hand on his daughters head "You could have just asked us all together, why separately?" The swordsman asks as the little girls starts to calm down "I-i wanted to get your separate opinions so i could make a plan but... I don't know what to do now, I want Chopper to be happy and i know i can't force it but its clear you all love him like your own and treat him like your own, but he doesn't see that. When i mentioned adoption to him he didn't say no and i could see how upset he was when talking about how he's not your child but i that could be changed " She starts to tear up again making Sanji sigh and hold his daughter closer as you brush some hair out of her face prompting her to go on. "I know i can't force him into anything and that its his chose but his own fears and worries are stopping him from saying what he wants to say. I want him to feel the love that you give me, i want him to have a family that loves him and won't abandon him. We can be that family but no one is willing to make the first move to ask, Chopper won't ask because he's scared and you won't ask because its up to Chopper so we're at a stand still"
Your heart breaks for your daughter, all three of you may have given different answers but in the end you all agree that its up to Chopper what he wants. The short silence is soon filled by loud crying but its not coming form your daughter, Chopper runs out of the medical room and into the kitchen his eyes filled with tears as he runs to cling onto Sanji's leg since he can't get to Kuina in his arms. Kuina's eyes widen at seeing her fluffy brother crying while trying to say something but it sounds more like babbling, the cook sighs placing a hand on Choppers head trying to calm him as Zoro sighs bending down to pull the reindeer of Sanji's leg "Chopper Honey" You sigh bending down to try and see his face "I-i love you too" Chopper calls out making your heart melt, Zoro manages to get the doctor off Sanji's leg as the cook puts Kuina down letting the young girl hug Chopper who happily hugs back crying into her shoulder. Thinking for a second you grab Zoro and Sanji's arms then gesture over to the pantry with a nod, knowing the three of you need to talk you all make your away into the pantry to have a privet conversation while Kuina sooth's Chopper. "So i'm guessing she asked you two as well" Sanji sighs while looking over to his daughter, nodding Zoro crosses his arms over his chest "You think we fucked up?" the green haired man asks but you shake your head with a small smile "No, we all have our own opinions on it and i'm glad she still came to her own consultation of not wanting to give up." Your proud of the girl you've raised, she has Sanji's kind heart, Zoro's courage and your understanding, a perfect mix.
Sanji takes your hand pulling you into him while the other takes Zoro's hand doing the same "I know we can't do the paperwork but .. Do you want to adopt Chopper?" The cook asks with a small smile already knowing his own answer, looking from Sanji to Zoro you nod, with a smirk the swordsman wraps his arm around your waist while looking between his two partners "Well i already see him as my son so of course" Zoro grins looking you over before turning to the cook who nods leaning up and placing a kiss on the swordsman's lips "Well lets see what he thinks" Sanji's beautiful smile grows on his face as he leans over to place a kiss on your lips, happily kissing back Zoro bends down placing a kiss on your cheek, pulling away from the cook you look up at the green haired man and place a kiss on his lips which he leans into. With the three of you in agreement you all head out of the pantry and over to Kuina and Chopper, the young girl has manages to calm the reindeer down as she rubs his arms while he wipes his face. "Chopper" You smile getting the doctor to look up at you "We wanted to ask you something" Zoro smirks placing an arm around your shoulder as Sanji takes your hand "We love you a lot, and we already consider you a part of our family, but we were hoping that maybe we could make it official" The cook gulps getting kind of nervous.
Squeezing his hand you decide to continue for him "Chopper, Would you like us to adopt you?" You ask watching as the doctor's eyes widen in shock but a big smile forms on his face "Yes please" He calls out running up to the three of you with his arms wide open. The three of you bend down letting Chopper jump into your arms, happy tears fall down his fluffy face that Sanji brushes away, Zoro looks over at Kuina who's smiling wide but her eyes are filling with tears, opening his arm for her the young girl runs into her dads arms joining in the hug. "See i told you... Your a part of our family Brother" Kuina calls out putting one arm around Chopper to hug him "I love you all so much, thank you" The doctor cry's out suddenly turning to hug the young girl and cry into her shoulder again "Thank you Kuina.. I love you sister" Kuina can't help but let some happy tears fall as he hugs the reindeer back shoving her head into his shoulder, she's beyond happy that the person she thinks of as a brother is now actually her brother., he'll be happy and loved now, he'll be looked after like she is and have someone to go to that he can call mum, dad or sister. With a laugh Zoro pat their heads glad to see his little girl happy again and to have Chopper officially be his son. Sanji wipes a tear away form his eye trying not to cry as he watches his two kids hug each other, he always wanted a loving family, but he didn't think it would ever be this loving, either way he's so glad for it. Placing a hand on your heart you watch the two kids with a smile, your so lucky to have them in your life and to have them grow up under your watch.

How do you think Luffy acts when he finds out he's in love? Your Sanji and Zoro interpretation was 🥹🥹 *chefs kiss*
😭😭😭
How Luffy Knows He is in Love
Sanji/Zoro Version Here
-
So Luffy is harder.
Luffy isn’t an idiot (all the time) he actually is very emotionally intelligent. He knows what it means to love, he shows it in various ways, but when he is introduced to being IN love its kindaaaa a different subject for him.
He acknowledges all his feelings head on. It’s very rare when he keeps things to himself so it’s pretty evident to the person he fell for that maybe just maybe he may be in love.
Luffy would be so difficult to figure out because his kindness is spread towards everybody pretty easily so really anybody could confuse his platonic love for romantic love, he can even confuse himself
but it’s the little things he notice.
The way how you’re the third thing on his mind when he wakes up (first two being meat and if yall landed on an island lets be real). The way how his eyes immediately search for you and light up when he walks into a room, the way how he is always touching you, holding your hand, the way how he can’t seem to feel normal and okay u less he knows you are with him because he only trusts himself to keep you safe.
You bring out sides of Luffy that even he gets thrown off about, he has gotten mad at you the most when you do reckless things to almost risk your life because the mere thought of losing you makes him cry. He’s more dependable for you, his arms are never too far to reach.
The way how he even listens to you when you speak. He subconsciously tries to not stare too hard because he gets a weird feeling in his tummy every time he sees your smile.
He doesn’t understand so he confronts you about it, he asks you what does it mean when you can’t stop thinking about a person. He describes his dilemma and you immediately knew which is why you’re here now nervous to tell him.
But there’s no reason to. It’s Luffy. He needs to know the facts because he isn’t sure if he hates the new feeling or not. He has decline plenty of women in his life, but he was more than willing to hear your conclusion and why it is so, so when you ask him,
“Luffy…do you may think you’re in love? Like IN love love not just love like a friend.”
It brings out one of the most genuine warm smiles he has ever given you before throwing himself to hug you.
Because you were right.

final very superficial appraisal of the live action one piece show:
👍:
-the set design was wonderful and had a cool sense of unreality to it (as in, the environments feel like built sets and it’s part of the fun), it was colorful and theatrical and captured the manga’s blend of piratey genre aesthetics (wooden boards, sailing ships, rolled-up old maps) and “modern” elements like t-shirts and neon signs in a really pleasing way
-the show clicks to the top of the first rollercoaster hill at the end of episode 3 and then goes at the start of ep 4 and it’s just one breathless ride to the finish. I didn’t want the show to end. I do not care about one piece and started watching kind of for the bit but now I’ll actually be really upset if it doesn’t get a second season. That’s how good the second half of this show is.
-I love how all of the characters with colorful hair have clearly-dyed hair where their roots are showing (as opposed to wigs), and in flashbacks to a few of them as children the child actors have the exact same sort of imperfect dye job. It’s wonderful. It adds to the theatrical energy of everything, like “we know you know this is artificial, but we trust you to suspend your disbelief and enjoy this fiction with us”.
-with very few exceptions, all of the actors’ performances are great. They are all cool and fun to watch and there are lots of sweet and funny and emotional moments that work because the writing is sincere. Nobody rolls their eyes for the audience’s benefit at how weeeeird their world is— they live here! I love that.
-the trap beat they did for Arlong’s theme music rules
-this story with its global ocean and seafaring/island-based societies is kind of like “what if Waterworld was like a big colorful carnival” and I love that
-the Snail Phones 🐌
Things I liked less below the cut - 👎:
-Zoro’s backstory bff being depressed because “a girl can beat a boy, but no woman can beat a man [in a swordfight]” was a disappointing line to hear two characters just… play straight in a world that up to that point had seemed pretty non-sexist? But this girl sincerely believes that, and this boy doesn’t push back at all. In this world of self-dismembering clowns and people with axes for arms, you’re telling me that there are no champion swordswomen for little kids to admire? Not one?? From skimming the wiki, it seems like in the manga Kuina’s views are influenced by her sexiest dad, but the show doesn’t include that context.
-Kuina dying offscreen in “an accident” was the only tragic thing in the show that didn’t land for me. It’s just so blatant and funny. You’ve got to get rid of her so she can motivate Zoro, because she’s dead in the manga and that’s how you motivate male main characters, with dead women, but… how? Doesn’t matter! There’s been an accident. Typical backstory girl bff behavior. Call that Fridge To Terabithia.
-Iñaki’s energy as Luffy didn’t always work for me. Some character behavior works in manga and anime, but seems awkward and jarring in real life. It’s very difficult to pull off wild limb-flailing anime exuberance in live-action— live-action Cowboy Bebop’s glimpse of Ed comes to mind. But also, I never really liked Luffy in the parts of the manga I read, either, so maybe I’m just not the target audience for a Luffy in any medium. Iñaki seems like a friendly and chill dude and he certainly gave this role 100%— and also Oda himself loved him for the role, so that says a lot.
-the whole thing with Arlong and his Fishman crew where they’re part of an oppressed and formerly-enslaved minority, so of course they have beef with humans (“but slavery’s been abolished!” shouts a human character), but they’re taking things too far and not just fighting for equality, but domination, which includes extorting, killing, and enslaving humans, starting with this poor little girl here. And since this group are clearly evil and have these big evil plans, it’s cool and great actually for the heroes, who are all humans/members of the majority, to kick their asses and kill a bunch of them. Like… I get there’s a whole thing here with Arlong being twisted by hatred into the very thing he says hates, and maybe we’ll meet more Fishmen later in the story who are just people and not bloodthirsty evildoers, but it’s not a great fictional look?
It takes me back to hbomberguy’s critique of RWBY’s portrayal of the Faunus, and the problems with making your bad guys out of an oppressed ethnic group who, the story says, might have a point, if they went about things peacefully, but are just taking things too far with this domestic terrorism stuff. The Faunus and Arlong should really be writing to their congresspeople instead!

Monster trio + Usopp with a stoner s/o headcanons
Tags: sfw, mentions of drugs and alcohol, boys being boys ig, typos probably
Tumblr media
Usopp
• Cares less than most think, even joins you for a blunt every now and then when things are calm
• It's not often you get to smoke with him but his stories get funnier and more outrageous
• Makes sure sanji has snacks prepared for your munchies
• Hotboxed his workshop too many times to count, if the crew can't find you he knows it's filled to the brim with smoke
• Worries that you'll green out sometimes like he did when he first smoked, most cautious of your intake
• Gets Hella touchey, like this man refuses to take his hands off of you
Tumblr media
Sanji
• Shook to his core???
• He's fine with you smoking it's just now he's not the only one on the ship
• Always makes sure both of your lighters have fuel
• No papers/blunts? That's fine he let's you freak one of his cigs and use that
• Snack mountain for your munchie
•  luffy isn't allowed near it per sanji's request
• Can and will roll for you if you ask and makes the prettiest ones you've ever seen
• More verbally affectionate then normal but in a quiet way
• whispers of affection and its honestly a nice change
Tumblr media
Zoro
• Only one who doesn't join you coward (but also don't peer pressure people tho)
• Neither of you are sober at any given time, If it's not one of you on something it's both of you
• Somehow you both get lost even more than zoro being on his own,
• the crew really needs a tracker for yall at this point
• Sees you with a j in one hand and a bottle in the other as a sign to take a break from training
• Get so high you cant/don't want to fight? Don't worry he's got you covered !
• Go ahead and roll another if you would like
Tumblr media
Luffy
• Someone pray for sanji and the combined amount of food the two of you are gonna eat
• This man already eats a lot, now add munchies to the mix??????
• Purely the reason sanji has to triple the food budget
•  give that poor baby some rest PLEASEE he needs it
• Pulls an ace the first time he smokes and falls asleep face first into his food
• Absolutely CANNOT roll, will fuck up the blunt if you try to let him do so
• Decent with rolling leafs and it's the only thing you can trust him with atp

uhhh thoughts on alabasta ratman sleep-deprived and weed fueled ace vs peak chad energy fuckboy prime wano ace?? like which one do you prefer, do you have any thoughts if he’d treat/think of luffy any different? in these two periods of his life?
(also ugh I adore both and there’s something special about alabasta ace who went after luffy to drum island, made sure everyone knew he would be waiting for luffy in alabasta, then went and sat there for 10 days with no other purpose but to wait for luffy. bc he just wanted to see him so so much. brocon alabasta ace is uhhhgggghh insane vibes but. there’s also something about wano graciously giving everyone big tits and a healthy layer of fat tissue on top of all that muscle. also the fact that portgas d “i hate when little children follow me around” ace willingly befriended and took care of tama. also promised her the same thing he promised luffy. idkidkidk I just like to think luffy was on ace’s mind 90% of the time, wherever he went, and he often just thought about him bc a lot of thinks reminded him of luffy. like things luffy would like, things he’d like to eat, things he’d find funny etc)
I thought this would be easy to answer but then I had like a whole essay typed up in my head. so. thank you for this ask, I have a lot of feelings about it apparently. 😂😂
they really do feel like 2 different characters, maybe bc Oda was still firming up the details of marineford/wano when Ace first appeared in alabasta? In any case it's always fun seeing which "version" of him fans lean into in fanart/fic/headcanons hahaha. like do they make him more scrungly and sleazy (but maybe also secretly doting)? you got yourself a greasy Ace fan. do they make him all upstanding and softly affectionate and soulful? wano ace wano ace wano ace
(a lot more rambling from here)
I have to admit...... and I'm ashamed to say it............... but I was only half-aware of Ace in Alabasta—like at that point, he was just another "wacky cool shounen guy" to me. It took Marineford breaking my brain down to its component parts and rearranging them for my full Ace brainrot to set in, and at that point he was closer to Ethereal Fridged Wife wano Ace, so I'd probably go with that one? God I do need to rewatch Alabasta tho, I feel like it'd be such a trip of fawning over greasy ratman Ace this time around ahahahah
I think it took until Marineford for me to really latch onto Ace bc it was outwardly like: Alabasta Ace: I'm cool Marineford Ace: I'm cool [ironic][hiding INTENSE self-worth issues]
I agree with everything you said though... I love wrinkly, wrung-out-to-dry Alabasta Ace and his devil-may-care coolness. His vibes of being just a bit more of a rebel than any of the Strawhats even, the thing that makes people cast him as a guitarist or artist in modern AUs. that fuckin,,,,, crouch/perching thing he does,,,, The WAITING... he's so understated with his devotion, like, this panel??
Tumblr media
he's trying to be so cool and older brother-y but really he just wants his little brother to visit him sometimes!!! he waited for luffy for 10 days when he's been prioritizing this mission over everything else, even being with his other found-family crew, and I just!!! sigh
"any thoughts if he’d treat/think of luffy any different" I so agree that Wano Ace is pre-Whitebeard Ace, meaning that even though he's presenting himself as independent and a leader/captain, there's a part of him that's still very angry and searching for acceptance. And yesss, bc of that he was probably holding his memories of Luffy so close all the time, seeing his brother who loves him in the innocent, trusting kid he helps, and unable to stop bragging about his brave little brother to the brash, impressive club-weilding guy he runs into.
meanwhile I feel like Alabasta Ace is actually more mellowed-out in his feelings toward Luffy, in a way? like idk, maybe—I might be completely off—but he's more secure in himself and his attachment to Luffy... or at least he tells himself he is. I just feel like that explains why he's shown to be so openly brag-y about Luffy in his Wano days, but seems way more laidback in Alabasta, haha (but the brocon devotion is still there, just better-hidden, lmaoooo) (and it gets ripped to the forefront during Marineford—he's forced to confront all that fear and attachment when he sees Luffy hurtling through the air toward him AH)
god tho. wano ace. wano ace and this gif
Tumblr media
the things. the things i want to do to this man. the morals i would abandon. unspeakable.
Tumblr media
and this???? him??????????????? sunkissed angel backlit like the once-in-a-lifetime love interest in a twee indie film???
yeah I... in summary, I feel like I have 60/40 preference for Wano Ace over Alabasta Ace, but really it's that mix of all those qualities that I like to bring in when i can.
(my secret third answer is Marineford Ace. the blorbo who started it all, lmao)

After he ended this speech and the crew members were determined to not only escape Baroque works, but also fight them in case they would try to pursue you all again, Buggy stepped towards you, asking you to come to his cabin. You hoped he couldn't see from your face what you had been thinking the whole time.
The tension between you and Buggy was almost unbearable as he sat on his chair and you just stood with your back against his door. The sense of disconnection between the two of you lingered, and it seemed that every attempt to mend the relationship and create a healthier dynamic only served to reinforce its toxicity and strangeness. Each time you strove to bridge the gap and find common ground, one or both of you succumbed to the overwhelming power of emotions. "How is your hand?" the captain asks, his voice pulling you back to the present moment. You shift your gaze towards your hand, which is still wrapped in bandages, a reminder of the injury you had inflicted on yourself amidst all the chaos. “It is fine. I have forgotten that I actually had an injury.” You answer honestly. He seems to be satisfied with this and nods.
“Thank you for coming out and rescuing me.”
“I could say the same, Captain.” “May I ask now, why are the marines and Baroque works after you? I know we had this conversation before and you are somehow hesitant.. but I feel if I have a crew member on board where I am not the only one who considered her valuable I might have the right to know why others think the same,..”
"I believe the reasons why the Marines and an assassination syndicate find me intriguing might be quite different from what you perceive as valuable," you say, a playful tone lacing your words. Sensing an opportunity to lighten the mood, you decide to employ a flirtatious joke, taking a slow and deliberate step closer to the captain.
Buggy's eyes widen, caught off guard by your sudden approach. He quickly rises to his feet, his expression shifting from surprise to seriousness.
“Y/n. Please, just try to be honest here with me. Is this something you can share or shall I never ask again and just accept that I have a potential danger on board…?”
You sit down on his bed, the comfortable pillow and sheets push back against you, you crave for a comfortable sleeping place like this since your hammock is not the best place to get rest in.
“Sit down again and I will tell you.”, you breathe out heavily, looking into his deep green eyes, you want to feel these eyes on your forever and you want him to trust you and know more about you than anyone else. You feel ready to let him into your life. More than ever before. Buggy listens, sitting down, his face full of anticipation.
“When I was still in Windmill village and Luffy was still small and innocent, I was 5 years older than him and already in trouble with the world government and the marines.”
Buggy just looks at you, he does not interrupt you now, giving you the time to share your story.
“In fact I was the leader of a rebellious army, nothing serious, just the things you do as a teenager when you are charismatic enough to gather some people around you and if you feel like you want to make a change.”
You cannot endure his gaze any longer and you rest your eyes on your own bandaged hand for a while.
“We were unhappy with the tax collector in Windmill village. I had started a peaceful protest and a campaign against him, although he was sent directly by the world government we thought he was taxing us too much, he came too frequently and the people who had less always had to pay more. It was just a way of terrorizing the oppressed and poor…”
You sigh again, it seemed like this had happened a long long time ago somewhere else, not in the world you lived in now.
“One of my fellow revolutionary members took the whole thing too seriously. I think he also wanted to impress me. His own family was especially affected by this, he was one of the poorest kids in the village and his frustration eventually turned into rage. One day he decided to kill the tax collector in our name and as I tried to stop him, I realized that his anger was beyond my control.”
You gaze at Buggy once more, your eyes filled with sincerity and earnestness.
"He waited for the collector at his house and killed him brutally with a knife. We later discovered that he was not only dispatched by the World Government, but he was also a high-ranking Marine general. Once I learned of this, the World Government began to pursue me as well, as I was the leader of the entire movement," you recount, your voice carrying the weight of the injustice that befell you.
Buggy, with his head slightly tilted, has been attentively listening to your narrative. Now he quickly interrupts you: "But was there no trial? Did they not realize that you were not responsible for these actions?"
You let out a slow, weary sigh. "No," you respond, your voice tinged with sadness. "This individual left a note in his house, claiming that I had inspired him to commit this heinous act. They couldn't find him. Some speculate that he fled on a ship the same day, while others believe he took his own life. Regardless, it does not matter to the World Government who will be punished. They simply require someone to blame, someone to execute."
The absence of a fair trial, the absence of an opportunity to prove your innocence, highlights the unforgiving nature of the World Government's pursuit. You and Buggy both understand the unyielding determination of those in power to find a scapegoat and impose their brand of justice.
Buggy gets up from his chair now, walking towards you and sitting down next to you on the bed. You can feel the warmth of his body, being so close to you you start to feel dizzy again.
“This is why I decided to become a pirate. If I am an outlaw and wanted anyway, then…”
Your voice breaks because Buggy has put his hand on your knees, a very innocent gesture. He did not want to interrupt you, but he also wanted to show his support.
Curiosity fills his eyes as he gently asks, "But if you're wanted, why have I never come across your wanted poster?"
You take a moment to steady yourself, feeling the closeness between you making it difficult to find the right words. With Buggy being so near, you muster the courage to respond, "Different name, different hairstyle." It's a brief explanation, but in this intimate space, it is enough to convey the lengths you've gone to conceal your true identity.

MUSCLE MUSCLE! + ONE PIECE MEN
one piece men having a muscular fem!s/o feat. monkey d. luffy, roronoa zoro, trafalgar d. water law, sanji, donquixote rosinante, buggy the clown
info: again FEM!READER , this is so self indulgent its embarrassing; not proofread
Tumblr media
luffy wouldn't mind you having muscles. he thinks that's something normal – just like some women can be skinny or chubby, others can be muscular. he would love to compare his biceps to yours if you love to flex, he takes it as a fun playful thing. he would adore to train with you, it gives him a big motivation; not only because it's someone as strong as him training, but also because he would adore to share earbuds with you and do silly dances to make you laugh between your sets.
zoro thinks the way you managed to build up your muscles is amazing. he often talks to you about your training techniques and diet; you're also one of the few – three – people he invites to workout with him. if you spot him during bench presses, he always puts a higher weight than he would while alone – that's his way to show that he trusts you and your strength. he will often stare at your body at the gym, but it's never in a creepy way, he just wants to make sure you're okay while doing your exercises (and he secretly enjoys to see your muscles working).
law is constantly wanting to rip his hair off with worry for you. he thinks your psyche is nice and he have no problem with it, his fears lie on your diet and your bones/joints. he fears that you might get an injury and you're not keeping a healthy fat percentage; even if you reassure him and say everything is fine, he always show up with food at your place. if he's not in that worried state, he loves to feel your muscles while you hug him (he has a skinnier build, so he enjoys the contrast). his favorite thing ever is to feel your arms around his head while he lays on your stomach.
sanji would love your body no matter what, but there's something about you being able to lift him up – and even throw him around if you want to – that drives him insane. if you post a picture with any of your muscles flexed, you will get a dozen of comments from him. if you take him to the gym to train with you, he will praise you and won't even train so he can "appreciate and help a goddess like you". he begged you for a long time to give him a headlock so he could take a picture and make it his profile picture in every single social media he have (and the background on his phone).
corazón always get shy whenever he looks at any of your muscles – you often notice it, because his cheeks become a nice shade of pink. at first you thought he didn't like you being muscular, but quite the opposite. unlike his brother, he doesn't build up muscles that easily (they have the same genetics, but he always says he was born to be the skinny brother), so you, the love of his life, being muscular? he is over the moon. if he gets your consent to do it, his hands will be all over you. if you need a massage, he's there. if it's just resting on your thigh or your back during a cuddle session, he's happy. he loves your muscles a lot, not more than he loves you.
buggy thinks you're one of the coolest people because of your muscles. he always wanted to be bigger and scarier, but his muscles always seemed to grow on his legs and stomach only, so if you are well-balanced on all your body, he is smitten. he loves to lay on any part of your body, giggling to himself if he thinks about doing that when you two are apart. he is constantly praising you, but, unlike sanji, they come in a more "if you were the queen, i wouldn't mind being the jester" way. he wouldn't mind tagging along with you to the gym, but he would spend more time glaring at any other men that looks your way than actually training.

I have a weird relationship with One Piece ships. Because, it’s like, I love that they are a found family and it’s practical that no one has a romantic partner, but at the same time I can see them all in a romantic relationship. idk
Ok, so first we have Luffy who I really can’t see him with anyone, he loves his family they’re all important to him. Then again, i see how he sometimes acts like he’s married to Nami and I think maybee???? Then I read Punk Hazard and Dressrossa and i was like with Law????? and then i found this thing called lusan by the great fedyth on twitter and was like they could be??? and then WCI and i they can bee!!?? then again i always remember at some point of zoro’s loyalty and that their best friends and out of nowhere my brain is like they look cute??? before watching or reading one piece i had seen some ship regarding luffy and robin but after seeing i can’t really see the appeal, like i love that luffy is robin’s reason to live but i can’t see them together together. the same with usopp and luffy, they’re just best friends in my eyes. i have seen a lot of other ships but these are the ones i can think at the moment (if you know more let me know) i still think that luffy is a person who loves way too many people in so many ways that he would’t chose one to stay with forever.
Zoro’s case happens to be similar to luffy’s because he doesn’t gets interested in just one person either. he’s very loyal to luffy, yes, and he’s his first and best friend, yes, but i can’t think in a case where those two end up together as romantically. i was thinking in people closer to zoro, starting with tashigi. i like this one very much because tashigi resembles kuina a lot and zoro had so much mixed feelings when they met. i also like to think that when zoro was little he had a little crush on kuina hence her death was even more hurtful than it actually shows and only by sheer willpower he hasn’t been in love again and then i think about sanji and is like the only one capable of getting the swordsman mad just like kuina used to. no one else makes him so mad like sanji does, and they trust each other a lot, and they understand each other like no one else understands them, and and and well i think that somehow they could get together at some point. of course, later i think all the other possibilities open in the table: there is perona, but i see her more of a little sister to zoro than a partner, there is robin who i actually shipped with zoro for a while, but then figured they had like a silent treatment to protect chopper at all costs. there is hiyori, but i can imagine all the drama it could have if it was a one sided love from her. personally i am a zosan fan, so i don’t have a lot of knowledge in zoro’s ships, tell me more if you know.
Nami’s turn. its difficul with her because she doesn’t trust people easily and doesn’t show her true feelings if they aren’t the strawhats, but that doesn’t stops me from shipping her with whoever i want. first things first, namixmoney. second, luffy and nami were, like, my first one piece ship so i will never let that down, they are very cute together and they act like a married couple just as much as they act like gremlins. another one that can easily surpass luffy is vivi, because well they’re girlfriends alright. idk, i love dearly their relationship in alabasta and all their adventures together. i did have seen that some one shipped her with tashigi, and i can see the appeal but personally i dont enjoy it as much as with vivi. i had seen her with sanji too, and personally that’s one of my favorites too, i just know nami can do whatever she wants with sanji and he will allow it. and even tho he’s a perv he will treat nami right. if you know more ships let me know.
with usopp the think is easier because for some reason he doesn’t get shipped with many people??? for example, there is usopp and luffy, that even though i said  that they were just friends, from usopp’s side they could be??? idk if im explaining right. i mean, in luffy’s case it isn’t a ship, but in usopp’s it is. ???? i dont know. a ship that i see very often is usopp x sanji, that personally i can see it and i like it a lot, but don’t think about it way too much. the ship that is like predetermined for me is usopp and kaya, like, they WILL get married alright. then again, hadn’t seen any other ship, let me know please
and here is sanji, who i ship with almost the entire cast of one piece.
instead of explaining i will give you a list, is faster:
luffyy
zoro
nami
usopp
robin
law
pedro
pudding
kinemon
cocodrile
jin
killer
bonney
carrot
ace
djfalsdjasdjfiwjflajdf (i had a list somewhere down my posts in what now is “x” (i hate it) and that thing wont let me see my posts)
anyway my mind went blank. i know there are more but i just cant remember. you know the drill. let me know more
i will leave it at that cause my god there are a lot of characters and i already feel exhausted just remembering all the ships i’ve seen. amazing how you can consume a massive wave of media in an instant.

Keeping with the wider focus I’ve been rolling with lately, while still including some ties to Wano and Kiku. My favorite scene(s) for each of the Straw Hats.
Luffy - "By the time we leave this country...it'll be a place where you can eat as much as you want, every single day!!!" I’m hoping we get Garp/Dadan’s reactions to learning that Luffy adopted a purple mochi child as a little sis, and a member of Wano’s royal family as his little bro. And “I’ve always been free. And now this place is mine.”
Zoro - Fighting the 100 Baroque Works agents at Whiskey Peak. Honorable mention goes to him attempting to cut his feet off then making a cool pose on Little Garden.
Nami - Leading the group on the Sunny so Luffy can focus on fighting Katakuri, and her standing up to Kaido and refusing to believe him at his word that Luffy had died. Belle-mère would be so proud.
Usopp - Calling out the stubborn pride aspect of the samurai code, while rescuing Kin and Kiku. Running and choosing to live can be brave in its own way. Izo's involvement here makes it that much better though also ouch. Themes from Thriller Bark around Brook are echoed. “At this point, a thing like time doesn’t matter…to live! To reunite! That’s what’s important.”
Sanji - Mr. Prince.
Chopper - His backstory with Hiruluk. “Mushroom.”
Robin - Telling Black Maria that she doesn't need to understand what her crew believing in her means to her. A small part of me feels a bit bad for Black Maria here, her being confused by Robin’s sentiment makes it seem that her sense of self-worth comes almost entirely from how she can be valuable to others.
Franky - Being a big bro to Luffy and helping to keep him focused, during Dressrosa. Almost makes up for losing my two favorite members of Doffy’s crew during Punk Hazard, and for Nami being absent during most of the arc, almost.
Brook - "What kind of fool regards his own death as part of a plan, young lady?" Really that entire scene. It’s interesting to think about Brook’s mindset alongside Lola’s, while she was refusing to back down while Luffy was fighting Moria, Zoro’s while standing against Kuma, Pedro’s during WCI, Izo’s while confronting CP0, or Hyogoro’s just before Kaido’s fall.
Jinbei - Asking Nami to forgive him. Their friendship and trust in each other is everything.

Hello. Could you do a zosan hc where the reader has fear of abandonment and therefore avoids all and any forms of intimacy? Thanks in advance
This may not be exactly what you wanted but i hope you like it and i deiced to make it a story instead of a headcannon. I also just want to let everyone know that all the series that i'm doing will be on hiatus until i can get round to doing them, theres a lot going on this week alone (Two funerals and a hospital appointment) so i haven't been able to do too much. I'll still do requests though. Thank you all for the love and support <3
Zoro X Sanji X Reader, non-established relationship, reader is GN, Poly relationship

Everyone leaves eventually, its only a matter of time. It doesn't matter if they promise forever or say how much they love you, it won't last, they'll either get board or tired of you. That's how its always been, it started with your mother, after she had you she decided to do something else, so she left, One by one your siblings left too never looking back, they said they where sorry but that doesn't make up for them leaving you alone. Some went on to collage and others just left because of Dad's anger problems, you understood why he was upset, you were upset too. Even though your farther was an angry man and sometimes took that anger out on you, you clung to him since he was the only person left in your life but everyone leaves and soon he did too. You worked hard and made friend's but the small town you lived in didn't create enough opportunists, so they left too, they said they would write but soon the letters faded away. You didn't mean to Join the straw hats, it just happened, Luffy saw the way you kicked out a bunch of men from the shop you were working at and asked you to join his crew. You said no, the fear of being abandoned again stopped you form doing a lot of things, you stopped making friend's and focused on your job. The pirate captain was head strong though and most of his crew seemed happy to have you, something about them and their stories made you agree.
It took a lot of getting used too and it took you a while to open up and trust again, it even led to you falling in love with two of the crew, Zoro and Sanji were your close friends and even though they argued and fought each other you knew they liked each other's company. There where a few times when you wanted to confess only for something to get in the way or the fear of abandonment hitting you hard. When the two boys got together you were so happy for them but a part of you broke, knowing the two people who you loved more than anything would never be yours was hurting but you still couldn't help but be around them. You couldn't help but think back to your farther and how this feels so much like the old days. When Zoro and Sanji told you how they both felt about you it brought you so much joy and yet the only word that left your mouth was "No", the fear of abandonment taking over again, you loved them with all of your heart but you were so scared of them leaving you, having friend's leave you was hard but having those you love more than anything would tear you apart. They respected what you said and you three stayed friend's but as the fear got worse you started to withdraw slowly, hoping to distance yourself from the crew.
You couldn't help yourself, sitting in the closet on the floor all you could do was cry, your heart and lungs hurt feeling like you couldn't breathe. Only one thought ran through your head, maybe you should leave before they abandon you. The door to the closet opens while you try to stifle your panting and little groans of pain as Nami steps in looking you over with wide concerned eyes "Oh Y/N, I heard you crying from down the hall.. What's wrong?" The navigator rushes over to kneel in front of your placing her hands on your red tear stained cheeks, you try your best to explain between gasps for breath and sniffs. How the people around you leave, how you love Zoro and Sanji so much that it hurts, you want to be with them but you can't help but think about them leaving you. "I'm just gonna go" You finally finished now looking up at Nami who's crying slightly with a shocked face "w-what? N-no you can't leave us" The navigator speaks pulling you into a hug which you stiffen at "I know its hard, things haven't been easy lately, but we'll never leave you, not willingly" Pulling away the navigator panics seeing your expressionless face "Everyone leaves in the end. Some by chose and some are forced" The words you speak break her heart so in a last ditch effort she makes you an offer "Give me a week, I'll prove to you that we won't leave you and if your still not convinced then... I'll give you 10,000 for a boat and stop Luffy from going after you" The offer was too good to pass up, you knew if you left Luffy would be mad, you didn't care too much about the money though.
After agreeing Nami set to work, she tried everything she could think of but after 5 days your mind still wasn't changed, so she went to Sanji and Zoro and told them everything. The two were thrilled that you felt the same but heart broken over your reasons for not confessing and wanting to leave, Nami kept all of this hidden very well so Luffy didn't catch wind of it, but she couldn't do it alone anymore. The two agreed to help and the perfect opportunity came that afternoon when they stopped off on and island full of trees and waterfalls, there wasn't a village, and they knew you would get off the ship to do some foraging. Stepping off the ship with your basket in hand you scanned the beach before looking into the tree line spotting a natural path that would be good to follow "Y/N, wait up" Sanji yells with a smile running off the ship and dragging Zoro along "We'll come with you" The cook stops next to you holding into Zoro's belt "It's ok, i'm fine on my own" You sigh starting to walk only for the two to follow "it's been ages since we've all spent time together.. Come on" Zoro pats your back hearing you groan but give in walking down the path into the forest with the two behind you. They tried to make conversation with you but you'd only give them one word answers or a hum in response while picking berries and herbs that you knew were ok. "What's been eating at you lately?" The swordsman snaps earning a glare from Sanji not wanting to say anything outright in case you shut down completely, they only had two more days to convince you to stay.
Stopping in your tracks you look over at the river next to you bending down to pick some herbs and put them in the basket "tired" You lie standing back up and grabbing your basket "Bull" Zoro growls, his tone of voice made you stop and turn to look at the two "Nami told you i'm leaving, didn't she?" You ask realizing what's going on, it didn't exactly surprise you that she would get the two involved to stop you from leaving but it somehow warmed your heart knowing she cared. Sanji sighs and nods his head letting go of Zoro to walk closer to you "She told us more than that" The cook place a hand on your cheek, it was warm and soft and you so desperately wanted to lean into it but you couldn't instead you took his hand off your cheek and placed it back at his side "What i said was part of mental breakdown." You try to lie your way out of this not wanting them to say they love you or beg you to stay but a part of you did want that "So your not gonna leave?" Zoro asks stepping closer crossing his arms over his chest. "That parts still true" you state turning and walking down the path heading to the waterfall to see what's there. "We know your lying" Zoro yells after you as Sanji grabs the swordsman's hand following you down the path but you don't answer just trying to ignore them for as long as you can. Stopping by the edge of the river near the waterfall you bend down to pick up more berries and place them in your basket.
Soon catching up with you the two try their best to convince you to say "I heard it all before" You state trying to focus on what to pick form bushes and flowers before standing back up "We love you Y/n, and we know you love us back, please just give us a chance even if-" Sanji begs only for you to cut him off by turning to face him, your face now very close to the cooks, your eyes lock with his as you speak "That has nothing to do with this" Your heart aches at hearing those words, its something you didn't hear too often growing up and hearing it come form someone you truly love makes you feel right but again that fear is back and you have to make it stop. "So you do love us" Zoro states with a smile placing his hand on your cheek finally getting a break through, your eyes widen in realization as Sanji smiles taking your hand in his "Please, don't leave us. I-I will do what ever it takes to convince you to stay. I-i promise i won't leave you" You had hope as Sanji spoke until he said those last words making you push the two away and stepping back "Promises don't mean anything... everyone leaves, I won't be abandoned again" You keep stepping back until you feel comfortable with the distance between you and them, Zoro sighs pinching the bride of his nose "So, what? You gonna spend the rest of your life alone? You think thats better than actually being with people who care?" The swordsman steps closer making you step back a little only stopping when you reach the edge of the river.
Sanji walks closer grabbing Zoro's arm trying to calm the green haired down "I know you care... i not say you don't but it doesn't matter" You're trying to get them to understand maybe then things will be easier, looking at the two you sigh with a heavy feeling in your chest "It doesn't matter if you love someone with all of your heart, it doesn't matter if you do everything you can to please them or make them like you. They'll just leave when they feel like it, they'll leave and never look back, even if they promised you a thousand times" You tear up but try and stop them from falling, your kind and giving, you have so much love to give so why does everyone leave? Your thoughts are interrupted by strong arms around you, the two boys pulling you into a hug your head in between there's as they hold you. "We won't promise then" Zoro rubs your back to try and comfort you "We're never going to leave you and i know the crew will feel the same" Sanji looks over at Zoro with his head on your shoulder both giving each other a nod, pulling away Zoro cups your face forcing you to look up at him as Sanji holds your hands in his holding them close to his chest "We're telling you... We won't ever leave you." The swordsman's eye shows he telling the truth and it feels like a weight has been listed off your shoulders, for once you actually believe someone when they tell you that.
Sanji brings your hands to his lips giving your knuckles a kiss "Please love... we want you around even if we just stay friends" The cook breaks the long silence, you had no idea what to say or do but the word friend's made your chest hurt, you really do love them but you know it will take time for your mind and body to fully except it "I- i, I'll stay" You manage to get out soon seeing the big bright smile on Sanji's face before he pulls you in for a tight hug, you can feel him relax in your arms as your wrap them around him. Zoro lets out a sigh of relief before placing his forehead against yours while wrapping his arms around you and Sanji to keep you three close. The three of you stayed there for a while enjoying the feeling and silence other than flowing water around you, until the swordsman places a kiss on your forehead, you don't know why but you craved more. Physical affection isn't always something you let happen, over the years you've become used to hugs but kisses were very different. Looking up at the green haired man your eyes begged for more, it felt nice and you wanted more even though before you couldn't stand stuff like that, Zoro seemed to get the message though placing another kiss on your forehead but letting it last a lot longer. You closed your eyes and leaned into it your chest starting to hurt less as your body relaxes. Sanji pulls back a little while rubbing your back seeing your relaxed figure lean into the swordsman, it made the cook smile leaning over and placing a kiss on your cheek.
You stiffened a little at his touch but soon relaxed when the cook did it again and again. Zoro removes his lips and hands from you watching you lean into Sanji a little more "Feel better?" Zoro asks getting you to open your eyes and look at him, the cook pulls away moving some hair out of your face with a small smile as you nod "I'm still scared you'll leave me but... i believe you" You wipe your cheeks and eyes taking a deep breath to calm yourself down "Come on lets head back, I'll make some tea" Sanji takes the basket off you and puts an arm around your shoulders as the three of you walk back down the path. You reach out and grab Zoro's sleeve pulling him along, the swordsman lets out a small laugh before taking your hand and holding it "We don't know much about what's going through your head so i was thinking you could tell us" Zoro squeezes your hand a little as you look up at him "It'll help us understand" Sanji speaks up rubbing your shoulder but you only shrug not sure what telling them will accomplish but maybe getting it off your chest will help.
Back on the ship you sat with Zoro, Sanji and Nami in the aquarium bar, the relief on Nami's face when you told her you would stay shocked you. The navigator hugged you tighter than ever before and you froze not knowing what to do, it also didn't help when she refused to let go of you when you sat down, she clung to your arm sitting next to you. With some encouragement you told the three what your life was like and what's going through your head, most of it was just you rambling but the three listened to you and Nami started to loosen her grip to help you feel less uncomfortable. "I understand why you feel that way now" Nami looks down at her drink, she knows what its like to be alone but it was her chose to do that, she had to, to protect her family and love ones but you. You were just straight up abandoned "Your right, promises don't mean shit, especially when you have shit family" Zoro growls hating how the people around you at such a young age had no care for you, Sanji sighs and rubs the swordsman's arm while leaning close to him "I'm sorry you had to go through that, but we won't leave you none of us will." You smile at the cooks words feeling more confident that they mean it. "I'm guessing the whole confessing thing is what made things worse, right?" Zoro asks calming down a little now feeling more concerned than angry, you nod and look down at your hands "It's not your fault, i'm just not used to all this. I can deal with the hugs and stuff but... getting too close means that when they do leave it hurts more" You sigh feeling Nami rub your arm before standing.
The navigator looks you over before placing a hand on your shoulder "I'm happy to help in any way i can but i think this is a conversation for the three of you" Nami looks over at the two boys then back to you giving you a small smile before leaving. You knew she was right, maybe you should have been open about it form the start but you had no idea how they would react. Sanji and Zoro move to sit next to you the swordsman placing his arm over the back of the booth behind you while Sanji leaned into the green haired man "You don't have to do anything you don't want too but if you'll let us, I'd like to show you what love actually is" The blonde gives you a light smile, his eyes kind as he reaches a hand over and holds it out to you hoping you'll take it. Looking down at his hand you don't know what to do, the fear is still there but the kindness and love they are showing you is starting to force that fear away "You won't be mad if i don't want something?" You ask looking at the two who nod "Of course not, we'll take it slow and in the end if you don't want us three to be together then, we'll still be friends" Zoro's small smile makes you smile back reaching over and placing your hand in Sanji's.

[ READ ON AO3 |  FULL SERIES | KO-FI ]
----------
As soon as the five from the Worst Generation had made it up to the roof of Onigashima’s Skull Dome, Law knew there was going to be a need for rearrangements. There was no way they could make it work with both Kaido and Big Mom as their opponents at the same time. They needed to separate them—leave Kaido to Luffy and then do something about Big Mom and Kaido’s men; the only issue was how.
How convenient Kaido chose the roof of all places to do this.
Of course they weren’t lucky enough to get Big Mom to fall into the sea but really, anything worked as long as it was elsewhere.
Grabbing onto Zoro’s lifeless, battered body, Law created a room. He glanced up, taking in Kaido’s body lying on the ground before his eyes turned to Straw Hat. He was standing tall, glaring down at Kaido as if he didn’t just get up from being knocked unconscious himself. There was power radiating off him, the air thrumming with his haki.
The contrast to his usual goofy demeanour would never stop surprising Law but… it was one of the reasons everyone came to believe in him. Looking at his back, seemingly both incredibly far away, and right next to him—a comforting presence, always close, always warm—he knew Luffy would win.
And so, Law finally tore his eyes away from him. “I’m leaving you here alone and taking everything else, Straw Hat-ya!”
I trust you. Don’t you dare die.
Straw Hat replied immediately, voice calm, “Sure.”
Same to you.
Law huffed. Luffy didn’t speak out loud, yet he could hear his words clearly anyway. He was sure Luffy could hear him as well.
Taking a deep breath, Law closed his eyes momentarily. This was it.
“Shambles.”
----------
Finding Big Mom downstairs was, unsurprisingly, easy. Even without her loud voice, following the greatest, most destructive tremors was almost laughably simple.
He ignored Kaido’s premature announcements of his victory—he knew just as well as the Straw Hats that there was no way Luffy would give up just because he got thrown off the battlefield—and instead approached the other Emperor. He wasn’t surprised to find Eustass already there, itching for a fight, but that was just as well.
It was certainly easier to take care of this monster with two people.
“All of you have so much blind trust in Straw Hat!” Big Mom laughed. Her voice was grating on Law’s ears, making him want to silence her. “But he’s dead now! What is the point of fighting?!”
Law felt a smirk pulling on his lips. Ah, how naive and assured of their own power the Emperors were. It was high time someone dragged them off their comfortable little perch. He was going to really enjoy the despair once they realised their time was over.
“As if I care about Straw Hat. This works great for me, I’ll just get to take you both down myself,” Eustass scoffed.
“We don’t have to explain anything to you,” Law noted, completely ignoring Eustass, before he slowly drew Kikoku and pointed its long blade at Big Mom. “But let me tell you one thing. You think you’re going to be the Pirate King? That’s hilarious.”
“What did you just say, you brat?” Big Mom growled, the sun behind her descending upon her and engulfing her hair in fire.
Law’s smirk only widened at her anger. Oh, he was going to make it so much worse. “There can only be one Pirate King—and that’s Luffy-ya.”
A beat of silence passed before—
“Hey, Trafalgar! I don’t care how disgustingly lovesick you are, I’m going to get the One Piece!” Eustass snapped as he turned to Law, teeth bared.
“Trafalgar… You have guts saying that to my face,” Big Mom laughed—a sound that was cold and completely lacking any sign of amusement.
How satisfying making people rage over a few simple words was. Law would never get tired of it. But maybe making Big Mom even angrier right now wouldn’t be the wisest. They should just get back to business.
“Eustass-ya, take it up with Luffy-ya later if you don’t want me taking care of her myself,” Law noted with a raised eyebrow. “Room.”
“Fuck the both of you,” Eustass growled back but turned away to face the actual enemy anyway.
Law wasn’t sure if he meant him and Big Mom or him and Straw Hat but… it didn’t really matter. He huffed in amusement for the last time before he turned his focus back to the matter at hand. He needed to get rid of this monster before she would decide to mess with Luffy’s fight upstairs. After all, it was only a matter of time before the rubber ball bounced right back. And Law needed to do his part in helping him up—
Up, until he reached the very top.
