Silly Game Time: Open Youtube. What's the title of the 3rd video recommended to you, and what's your interest in it on a scale of 1 to 10?

(Mine's: "Blastoise Is My Dad MBMBAM Animatic" and the interest is 8. Clicked it and am watching it and everything.)

Mine is “Honey I’m Home - The Magnus Archives” it looks to be an Amv or something of the sort, I might watch it. Tho- currently I have 7 separate YouTube tabs open (relistening to tma in one, listening to the mechanisms in another, a live performance of the mechanisms in the third, a different mechs live performance????? In the fourth, CaFae latte, and Epic the Musical) plus, I’m on the wrong YouTube account. I’ve got one for fun the other for work (I like to watch/listen to video essays and audio books and stuff while o work, I just pick something that seems interesting and then leave autoplay on and see where the rabbit hole takes me. I love long videos- hours long videos diving into the depths of some niche topic are my FAVORITE) so whole interest level is high- like an 8- I likely won’t watch it

#did I get side tracked? yes #technically I have three separate accounts on YouTube #one idk what’s up with #one is for fun stuff- animatics and gaming and stuff #and one is for work #I do it this way so I can keep the videos recmonded to me in line #so o won’t get distracted by something short and snappy while I’m trying to work #the rabbit holes I’ve been lead down with my system are wild tho #went from bsd iceberg to queer coding in an anime I’ve never heard of to something about Buddhism?????#and occasionally an audio book #just surprise Edgar Allan Poe #well not surprise- that was recommended to me cause I was listening to other Poe stuff #but you get what I mean #anyways- watch how easily Robin gets side tracked #my system has been buddied because I forgot to switch accounts #and started watching a bunch of tma stuff on my work account #so now my recomendaations are Skyrim bedtime stories and tma bloopers #that’s not a joke #the first video recommended is ‘reading Skyrim books pt.1’#okay I’m gonna stop now before I give you a whole tour of my open tabs lol

the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading

#.docx #sometimes i go through old works and notice entire paragraphs with only one punctuation mark and it's like #93 words.#(jaded old man voice) i submitted a 93 word sentence once.

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

#I was forced to get over my hatred of making phone calls bc of this #one 15 minute phone call is the equivalent of 5 back and forth emails #also if you don't know exactly what you need help with you can just ask and you can get real help #instead of just desperately clawing at faqs on websites #it's infuriating that it works so well #ramblings

you'll get the urge as an artist or a writer to say out loud the things you're worried about "the proportions are off" "kind of out of character" "i'm not good at summaries" "didn't get as much detail as i wanted" "i made a mistake and here's how" and that's the self-conscious part of your brain telling you "it's bad and if you don't tell them you know it's bad then they'll think you're stupid" but you've got to ignore that little voice and pretend you think it's good or else that little voice is going to ruin your life

#psa: don't degrade your own work just because you're dissatisfied with it or worried other people will see the mistakes #project the confidence and the skill you're longing for will come i promise #not art #it's another one of my pet peeves online and something i had to learn myself #self-degradation is not the key to being a good artist online #it'll do more harm than good in fact

But I ultimately might would go for the house #JUST becuase it would be my Dream House which means it would already meet mostly all of my specifications #and what I might be looking for. which would save a lot of time searching or customizing/rennovating.#Also because I could use that as a way to leave the US lol.. like .. if I get to choose my dream location.. couldnt I just choose some othe #country?? But I wonder how that works. Can you legally 100% have full ownership of a property in a country yet not be a citizen of that #country?? Would you show up and be like 'erm.. i own this house.. so i shall now live in it' and theyd be like 'uh no. you cant live here #despite owning the house. leave.' ??#So I think the initial process of 1. scraping together funds to actually MOVE myself and my most valuable belongings physically #TO another country. and 2. figuring out how to STAY in that country . might end up being difficult.. BUT. if I could just work that #part of things out then.. dream house?? security for once in my life?? stability?? :0 #Though the $1mil is enticing it's also like.. I feel .. with the way housing prices are now... that's not much???#it's a lot I guess if you plan on like.. investing half the money and staying in an apartment for 5 years while you grow your wealth #or something. but if you're a 'I Need Stability NOW' ready to settle down person who would be most interested in owning a property rather #than nice clothes or a car or whatever other investments you could make then.. eh..?? It seems like unless you're okay with living in #a small town or kind of far away from the city - even some SMALL houses in majorly populated areas in the US will be like #$600.000 - $900.000 or something. like that would be MOST of my money. Which I know you could just pay partially and make #payments on it but idk.. in the option of just outright owning the house it seems like it'd end up being cheaper.#Plus I would want to own it fully asap because I'd be afraid of losing it somehow otherwise. like it being taken for medical bills or #something. which I thought was supposed to be - not IMPOSSIBLE - slightly more complicated legally if you actually have #paid off the house in full. I guess the issue then would be utilities and property tax and such. But I feel like thats overcome-able??#Like I could just stipulate that my Dream House has a little furnished addition or something and then find someone #with money and be like 'Look you can live in this extremely nice area with amazing ameneties and updated everything and ALL you have #to do is give me money to cover the utilities and property tax.'' or something like that. Like the little furnished addition is nicer #than the actual house. they have their own pool and spa and movie room or something and Ill also cook all their meals for them #or whatever (how luxurious it would be depeneds on how high the property tax actually is/how much I would need to entice them into #why it's a good deal for them to pay it for me lol). idk... something like that.. ANYWAY #I asked a few people I know though and one of them answered they'd rather have a romantic partner. the other one said they'd like #to be able to choose someone to die lol..
