Redesigning/Reimagining Hazbin's Characters-1 (Charlie)

I tried y'all, I really did, but I didn't have much to work with. Sorry about the cut off, the shoes did not go as planned.

So- How'd I do? Tell me your thoughts!

(I'll go in depth under the cut)

Okay, so, where to begin..

Well, first, I'll start by stating the obvious.

I don't like Charlie's design. If you like it, fair enough, but it's just not working for me.

There's thr usual problem of- you guessed it- Too. Much. Red.

Red eyes, red background, red details, red clothing, red cheeks, red Bang style, red under sleeves (even though the shirt is supposedly White when you look at the chest area, but then you see around her wrist and it's a dark red for no reason. I'm willing to bet that the animators just forgot which color goes where because the color palette is just red, pink, white, and black. Over and over again.

Next: I get that she's supposed to be bubbly, and happy-go-lucky, all that stuff. But to be honest, I feel like it would be more interesting if she actually wasn't that nice.

I feel like one thing that would be fascinating is the idea that she wants to help people, but she's out of touch. She's one of the most powerful things in Hell after all. She doesn't understand the point of the lower class People. Plus, she's never been out of hell, she doesn't know what Earth is like, or what heaven is like.

I feel like a version of her where she is trying to do good, but is ruthless or harsh in the way she does it, could both be entertaining- and provide character devolopement as she learns how nuanced proper care is.

Also, if she's the second / third most powerful thing in hell, she shouldn't be scared of Alastor. I don't mean that he can't be in the series or anything, I feel like there would still be plenty of uses for him. But with her being a high class royal, and as powerful as she is, she shouldn't need to rely on him for his power or his money for that matter.

I understand the idea that maybe Lucifer Cut Her Off from funding because he basically disowned her or whatever, so maybe funding could be an issue, but even so, she should not be afraid of Alastor.

I like the idea that she intimidated people into going into her hotel so she could "fix" them, not realizing that the fear of her wrath is the only thing keeping people there.

Or maybe the whole hotel thing could be an act of defiance against her father fitting, as "history repeats itself" (referencing Lucifer's defiance of God in biblical lore)

Perhaps she does good things, but isn't all that nice to begin with. But she attempts to be friendly and relatable without understanding how to ACTUALLY relate to or approach others.

How does all of this tie into my design of her?

A few things:

1. Viv said at some point that Charlie was meant to look like a porcelain doll, which... She doesn't look like at all. (I do like her new ponytail. But other than that I don't like the design.)

To me, she just looks like Ellen DeGeneres with long hair and clown makeup.

So, I made her more doll-like. But it wasn't enough. It was too simple.

Then, it hit me: in a lot of movies with demons or ghosts, oftentimes a doll gets possessed by said demon/ghost.

I'm not even afraid of dolls personally, but I know a lot of people who are

So What if, Charlie did the same? Maybe her true form is something really scary, so in an attempt to come across as more approachable, she has some sort of doll-like shell? (But, unbeknownst to her, most people are very afraid of dolls. So it does very little to actually help. I think that's some decent comedy potential.

Plus, imagine her having stiff or janky movements, like she doesn't actually fit that well in her body.

2. The horns.

I actually kind of liked her weird demonic form, at least I liked the horns and the moving hair, but since I decided not to give her a crown, I gave her those weird 4 horns with decorative string tied between them, as a way to make it appear *similar* to a crown. Plus as a reference to the whole 'demonic' thing

I kind of used Sofia from "Harmony and Horror" as a reference. (Btw, great analogue horror series on YouTube, highly recommend it)

3. I did make Charlie's hair a bit darker, but just a little. That was in reference to part of Lucifer's lore, which said that when he fell from heaven, not only did his feathery angel wings burn away into bat wings, but his once golden hair burned into a dark red. So I decided that for Charlie, her hair is darker, but since she's trying to do good, it turns lighter.

But yeah, I'm honestly not sure about her outfit, I'm probably going to experiment with that in the future. But overall I'm okay with how this turned out.

judge, in an attempt to ensure sanji does 'fall back into bad habits', messed with Sanji's ability to taste food, has him banned from being anywhere close to the kitchens, and even has forced 124ji to refrain from making comments about the food for the foreseeable future. they dont want to risk triggering anything too soon after his 'recovery'

of course, while in the infirmary, sanji just figured he was getting standard grade mild hospital food so he was (subconsciously) looking forward to his first real meal afterwards. and it smelled so good! but then he took the bite... and it just tasted like mushy cardboard. as did every bite afterwards. glancing around at his family, they all seemed just fine with the meal... so perhaps thats just how it was then? was food/eating just like emotions, something they preformed, an end to a mean? food was fuel, not a leisure activity, he supposed...

so, choking down his food, he said nothing

food was just fuel

just another drop in the pool, another small itch in the back of his mind, the growing sense of something being off

overtime he starts skipping meals, brushing them off altogether or asking for someone to just puree it for him so he can down it while he works. his time is more well spent furthering their plans than spent chewing on cardboard. he tries not to acknowledge the way something in his reiju's eyes breaks at that nor to claw at the spot where judge proudly clapped his shoulder for his taking initiative. his brothers remain oddly quiet, glancing between each other as niji snorts

it doesnt matter

what does matter is the strange burning sensation in his chest that has him biting back snarls at soilders that waste his time with meaningless compliments or the way he has to fight his face to remain neutral when yonji laughs or how his body aches, shoulders twinging from the tense posture he holds in his fathers presence

he is a a vinsmoke. he is a cyborg. he is an unfeeling, unflappable soldier meant to spread the glory of germa across the land and sea, no mere emotion nor man could ever hold him back

so why is it then that he finds himself clenched into a tight ball, hands ripping at his own hair, desperate to forget the feeling that came when that burning desire nearly succeeded in breaking free after a maid bumped into him in the hallway, flowing out of him with a snarl and its only his carefully honed control snapping back in place that allows the maid to keep standing where she is, pressed fearfully against the hallway wall

his hand, frozen midair, right where he caught himself before the hit could land across her face

the books in his hands have been long forgotten where they lay in the hallway after he dropped them and ran blindly. he doesnt know where he is, only that its quiet, dark, and he is alone with his ragged breathing. he curls up tighter, desperately trying to push down everything, the bile in his throught, the memory of the maids fear in his mind, and the horribly, confusingly angry tears that burn at his eyes

it shouldn't matter, he shouldn't feel, he shouldn't care, and yet, and yet, and yet

something snaps inside him as he yanks out a clump of his own hair, something bloody and visceral and uncontrollable

because he can no longer sate himself with soothing lies of his family's love and blood-born honor, not when he is so clearly broken and wrong and all he ever wants to do is scream and burn it all down, starving for something more he cant even recall

covered in his own blood, snot, and tears, sanji realizes how little he truly knows

with the plans to strike the strawhats down moving ever closer, he stands and begins his charting own.

in the meantime, he works. he trains. he studies.

he researches.

and he learns.

so, suffice to say, he's not happy with what he learns. the life of one blackleg sanji, sprawled before in clippings from newspapers across the years, some freshly printed, others yellow with age. faces in photos that he swears he knows yet cannot name make him break a wall with one flaming kick.

(the oldest of them is that of a restaurant opening in a far off ocean - but he couldnt read more before the paper turned to ash in his grasp thanks to the flames creeping up his body)

the only road forward, he realizes, is one that leads to their deaths. vinsmoke judge and everything hes ever had a hand in... this world was not just nor right, just an endless stretch of monsters like him ruining everything. death, admittedly, would be a mercy in the longrun.

he'd make it slow

they never even noticed him pulling away, sneaking into labs and war rooms across the floating kingdom. never questioned the bags beneath his eyes so long as he got them the results they desired. they trusted him, it seemed.

or maybe they just didnt care. is health really all that important when you can just throw them into a test tube and-and try again? dig into their brain and pull out every piece that makes them, them, and see if it works now. lie when you cant dig a scalpel in and hope for the best.

when the day finally came, only three before they were suppose to make the final move of the strawhats, sanji sneaks into the kitchen, aided by his new improved raid suit and his family's growing compliancy. they no longer parole the kitchens like bloodhounds, ready to turn him the other way.

as thanks, he adds something special to his siblings dishes

hes no fool, hes aware he likely couldn't take them all on his own. underhanded techniques never bothered them before, so this shouldn't be any different. besides, they werent his focus

no one says anything about the food or... any odd tastes, per usual thanks to judges standing orders. he bites his lip hard enough to draw blood just to fight back a smile as he spots a tremble in ichiji's hand as dinner draws to a close and dessert is sat before them. niji keeps pinching the bridge of his nose amd yonji eyes take on a strange glaze as he stares out a window

reiju looks at sanji, her ever present fake smile dropping away

the show begins like fireworks, lighting up the evening sky, his many bombs hidden about all going off at once

he listens and revels in the sound the labs make as they turn into flaming rubble, explosions bursting across the many snails in their armada, of his fathers fantic commands, his brothers confusion, and his sisters silence

the germa kingdom crumbles, flames crawling across the snails, the smaller of which begin writhing in pain as theyre cooked alive

he probably should of kept the charades going on for longer, but sanji just couldn't help the bitter laughter that welled up at his fathers flushed face, which only causes him to seeth more and sanji can barely breath through his manic laughter

at the very least, judge seems to catch on when yonji crashes to the ground, unconscious, without ever being touched and ichiji is swaying on his feet where he stands. niji hasnt gotten up, clutching table like a lifeline as he snarls in sanjis direction.

its invigorating, watching the fear creep into each ones eyes, fear they claim to not have nor know. judge can only watch as his kingdom burns and his precious soilders crumble, all thanks to one of their own

and the night has only begun

(in all the excitement, none of them see the ship approaching on the horizon, the lion shaped head glowing in the suns dying light and crackling flames)

man. thinking about how the survivors all desperately need new hobbies

like. okay. sonia’s a great example. off the top of your head what are her hobbies? probably learning about and researching true crime and the occult, and watching j-dramas/anime, right? but if you really think about it, her fascination with japanese culture very much feels like her just desperately wanting to fit in and massively overcompensating. so while i do think she probably enjoys those shows, theyre definitely not as popular in her kingdom as she claims (not that im saying she’s lying on purpose, just that. well, when you feel embarrassed about someones reaction to you liking something, sometimes you’ll try to make an excuse for why you do yknow), and plus, its not like they have access to a lot of entertainment media for a while post program. as for the occult/true crime stuff…

look me in the eye and tell me junko did not use that against her. do you really think junko enoshima would not see a girl obsessed with the study of serial killers and not try and warp that into a fascination with her?

i think that stuff leaves a bad taste in her mouth now. and after committing and being complicit in the committing of the kind of crimes she used to be fascinated by, its kind of hard to find the joy in that anymore, yknow? the occult stuff could maybe still be enjoyable, but with how often it feels like there are ghosts lurking around every fucking corner and her dreams are filled with screaming corpses its kinda hard to be fanciful about that stuff.

so. girl needs some new hobbies.

its not much better for the others, either. akanes hobbies were basically working out, doing parkour, eating, and sleeping. the first two are downright impossible for the first several months after waking up, and for the foreseeable future any kind of physical activity is going to be, to an extent, difficult just due to how much chronic pain and weakness she’ll probably suffer the rest of her life. she can get to a healthier weight and a stronger muscular build, but its not going to change the fact that she gets out of breath and sore much faster than before. as for eating… well. thats gonna be a sore subject for a while. so all she has left is sleeping, and sleeping all day is, as ive been told by many people, kind of a depression symptom? and theres no way the others would sit back and let her do that.

girl needs some new hobbies!

kazuichi, from what we can tell, had a few more normal hobbies. in game you can find him gaming with chiaki, and he seems to enjoy coming up with schemes and plans for silly stuff, but overall he just loves his tinkering. he may be the ultimate mechanic but first and foremost he just loves fucking with machines and engines and finding out what makes them tick. but even that isnt gonna work anymore. sure, he could game. if they had any fucking consoles. or a working computer network. or any games. but none of that is happening for a while, if ever. as for his tinkering, it’s gotta be a similarly sore subject to sonia’s training and tutoring as a princess. its too closely linked to what he did as a despair, too closely linked to his talent, to not make him feel like screaming when he smells machine polish. i think he definitely could get back to a point where it genuinely brings him joy again, and before that he definitely forces himself to use his talent and knowledge because they need it, but. its a complicated problem.

the guy needs some new fucking hobbies.

and of course… fuyuhiko.

like okay can you think of a single thing from the game (or fuck even the anime) that implies that he has anything he actually does For Fun. he has a sweet tooth. hes dedicated to his clan. he went to the zoo with peko one time. he got in fights at school. thats… those arent hobbies. fuyuhiko doesnt have any hobbies!!! someone get this boy some fucking knitting needles or a book to read!!!! please!!!!!!!!!! i think it would genuinely help him a lot to have something to do instead of just sitting and stewing in his own trash fire of a brain speaking from experience. learn to sew, read some fantasy novels, learn to play the guitar, something. im begging you.

and hajime is his own fucking can of worms.

he probably had hobbies before the Horrors. right? he probably played some video games, maybe liked martial arts films, maybe sketched in the margins of his notebooks. rode his bike sometimes. but now? nothing keeps his interest that long. everything becomes monotonous after a while, and sure, sometimes thats the draw. with stuff like fiber crafts the point is sometimes making it muscle memory so you have something to do with your hands. but other times its not. and his ability to basically excel in most things you put in front of him has to be so fucking boring after a while. a lot of the point of having hobbies is that you arent perfect. the draw is learning, is getting better. even reading can become nothing when any nonfiction book has knowledge in it you already know and any fiction book you can intuit the ending from the first few pages. he probably reads Lightning Fast now too, so it cant hold his interest for long.

he probably has to constantly be switching hobbies and outlets. cant stay on one thing too long, or the ennui starts to set in. that sounds miserable.

ohh yeah, big time — pretty much since she was little what with being a mage and all. she is very ambitious and driven; Malcolm definitely had his hands full w just hawke before beth and carver came along. this love of learning and rampant curiosity likely wouldve expedited her grasp and power over magic from a young age and got her some visitations in the fade (at least back then she was much more disciplined and in control of her wants, and much less desperate, to not be tempted!!!)

bad dreams from the blight would be a given too — losing their home, losing bethany especially weighs heavy on her, sometimes in dreams she loses carver too and wakes up with hands coated in ice ready to cast cone of cold on an ogre that’s actually just the broken door half off its hinges in the corner of her and carvers shared bedsit in gamlens old hovel 😭 but OF COURSE she reaches down from the top bunk to make sure carvers still there and he jumps tf up after getting frozen fingers in his face 😭

she doesnt sleep much in the deep roads, definitely not after discovering carver is blighted — she guards him like a dog. i think even after the expedition she doesnt sleep much, worrying about him and if hes survived..but once she gets news and finally starts trying to get some real rest, for sure she is plagued by what they went through; darkspawn, profane (WHY ARE THEY NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN .), bartrands betrayal, her own abuse of lyrium, carver’s loss. dont even get me started on act 2 ill be here all day!!!! but the shit with leandra both devastates and desecrates and her mind, conscious and subconscious are never the same. so thats fun at bedtime . oh she is a mean wicked grace player!! or i should say mean wicked grace loser . she loves it but is very by the rules, she will NOT play dirty and she takes it VERY personal when she catches bela or varric getting sly under the table. carver being such a sour puss about some things — he didnt lick it off the lowtown streets, big sis is exactly like that too, especially w stupid ass card games😭 when she does win, which is very rare but has happened, she will never let it go . this bitch is in skyhold still reminding varric about her winning hand in act 1 of the previous damn game

hawke is super organized believe it or not — she does her research before the party heads out on the wounded coast or mount sunderland. she feels a weird responsibility, in act 1 to keep baby bro safe and to seem competent, in act 2 because these people are becoming family to her etc. but thats not to say she doesnt get lost — in act 2 specifically i have a personal hc of her going thru lyrium withdrawal (and switching to blood magic as fuel) so she can be super dopey and out of it on any given day 😭 circles on the wounded coast because the only thing she has the brain power to focus on is isabelas booty

Post explaining what a system is perhaps? How does it work? Confused(<-me)

Sure! Yet note that we are only speaking from our experience and are absolutely NOT educated on many things about plurality (i.e. being a system). We are still learning too!

"system" is a term for when there are multiple consciousnesses in one brain, essentially. there are many reasons for this, but in our case its a result of trauma (i.e. traumagenic. other types exist too, but i would rather let someone who knows more about them to explain them).

To understand this better, think of the things that stress you out. now, think of what would happen if they stressed you out so much that it caused you to be completely overwhelmed. For many, if not most people, they would try to cope by detaching themselves from their own thoughts and identity in a process called dissociation.

In some cases, this is taken to such an extreme that a person's identity "splits", and suddenly they now have two identities in the ssme body! The identity that split off may also be based in some way around the trauma that caused it. For example, I, Abigail, was born from fear. As an undiagnosed autistic child, it was hard for us when we were younger to truly understand people. We had to learn the hard way how being social worked. And we never knew why we were such a mess either. Our young self was scared and lonely and desperately wished she could be someone else. Someone that was cool and would fit in better with other humans. Someone taht became me! She dissociated so much pretending to be me that I was eventually spawned as part of her. Thast a simplification ofc, but it works for now.

When we aren't "fronting", i.e. controllimg the body, we are all hanging around in an area of the brain called the headspace. Its our home, really. The headspace can look like anything you want. It's created by the brain, after all. For us, it's a massive rainforest filled with cute crestures. We, ofc, have headspace selves that dont necessarily look like our body. Phoebe, for exanple, is asian even tho our body isnt. Thats just how the brain generated her.

Nowadays, we have five members that we are aware of. While we are related, we are all different from each other. For example, most of us are different ages, which, in in the case of Phoebe and Giulia, has relevance bc theyre clues to why we split in the first place. Phoebe spawned from the conflict between us being treated as an adult as soon as we turned 18 (whenever it was convenient for those around us) despite not beung ready to be an adult yet. So, shes still a kid yet shes very mature.

Theres a lot more to be said, but im jsut a kid trying to figure out my own life. None of us are experts by any means. Id reccommend you do research on your own to supplememt what Ive said here!

An accidental telepathy fic where Caleb shares a bit too much to a certain drow.

Things in Aeor are strange. Magic Especially. A teleport can send you miles away from target, and a spell gone wrong can make you bald! However, Aeor's atrocities were put on the backburner when Jester's weasel turned out to be her 'god' and the red eyes adorning the Empire Kid's bodies started to show power.

Darkvision was one thing that was quite startling to Caleb. He hadn't really noticed it with the constant flow of light emitting from Caduceus' staff and his own globules. It wasn't until Beauregard said something that it really occurred to him. Even more surprising was the telepathy. The ability to transcend one's thoughts into the mind of another. A mental link for shared knowledge. All sorts of possibilities flowed into Caleb's mind. How useful this could be in their upcoming battles with Lucien.

"Woahhhh Caleb I can literally HEAR your thoughts! Slow down a bit!" Jester marveled.

"OH Oh Beau! Can you read my thoughts??" Yasha exclaimed.

"Hey let's give it a try-" Beau smirked.

"Ok who do I love? Oh wait thats dumb.." Yasha mumbled. The rest of them started to laugh a bit.

Caleb shifted his gaze over to Essek. The drow's soft features focused on the commotion going on around him. A confused expression painting his face - no doubt from the sudden talking weasel - in a show of momentary openness. Throughout their travels in Aeor, Essek had slowly let the shadowhand persona slip away. Caleb liked this version much better. The way emotion displayed itself on Essek's face was new and nervous, but the man was truly trying to change. That alone caused something to swell in Caleb's heart.

Immediately, Essek's head snapped up and looked over at Caleb in surprise. Caleb looked away as soon as he turned his head. Did Essek hear him? He needs to get a better hold of this power. Fast. Swallowing hard, Caleb simply nodded, before turning his gaze back to their laughing friends.

After a day of hard trekked travel, the Mighty Nein stumbled into the tower for a night of much needed rest. It was then that Caleb's mind started to wander. What exactly is transmitted through this telepathy? Feelings? Words? Images? The beginning pricks of worry started to crawl into his throat. Would he have to wrestle every one of his thoughts down so the others wouldn't be plagued by his memories? He glanced at the glaring red eye adorning his palm. Thick red lines seared into his skin flawlessly. Watching. Staring. Certainly these powers come with a price. And Caleb didn't know what that price was.

There's nothing he can do right now. Stay on task, Widowgast. Maybe something from the papers he picked up earlier will have more information about their enemy. With an idea for distraction in place, Caleb floats up to the library to begin opening the amber. He settles on a couch opposite from a crackling fireplace as he does so, the comforting warmth washing away the stress of the day.

Piles of books and papers fill the floor in front of him. Excitement and curiosity begin to tug at his mind. Caleb reaches out and grabs one of the dusty old tombs, tracing the foreign writing in awe. So much knowledge, packed in the papers around him. So much information to be learned and so little time.

"It's quite incredible, is it not?" A soft voice comes from behind him as Essek glides over to Caleb, staring at the collection of books.

"Ja. After our business is concluded, I would love to study more of Aeor's history and research."

"Well, we have a few moments now, do we not?" Essek smiled softly as he looked at Caleb.

And just like that, they were off. Reading through ancient texts, occasionally bouncing theories back and forth. The constant whirring of intellect trying to process the thoughts of mages from far beyond their time. It was invigorating.

However, from time to time, Caleb found it hard to keep his focus. His eyes constantly wandering back to the drow sat beside him, nose buried in a book. His thin white brows creased into a focused expression, eyes full of wonder and curiously, devouring the age old texts. The way his mouth would curl into a subtle smile when he found a particularly interesting section of text. Or how he would nibble at his lower lip when frustrated about something. He wondered if those lips would feel as good as he imagined. How soft and delicate.. Oh how glad Caleb is to have moments like these, just him and Essek.

At some point while Caleb was lost in his thoughts, Essek looked up. Violet eyes meeting blue ones.

"I uh.." Essek clears his throat. " I found a section that you might find to be interesting." He smiles and looks away.

Oh.

How much did he hear? How many of those thoughts slipped through in his tired state? Apparently enough for the subtle hints of purple creeping on the edges of Essek's ears to catch Caleb's attention.

"I think it's time for me to head to bed. I require more sleep than you do, after all," Caleb said as he stood up. It was awkward, for a moment. The silence was heavy, and he didn't dare steal a look at the drow beside him.

Having your thoughts known to others feels like quite a violation of privacy. Caleb thought as he laid in his bed. I need to get a hang of this.

It took a while for him to get even close to falling asleep, for his mind was racing with thoughts.

He was on the edge of consciousness when he heard a small knock on his door. Surely all the nein are well into their sleep right now, so that means that the only person this could be is… a lump formed in Caleb's throat as he opened the door. Essek stood in front of him, a foreign expression adorned on his face.

"I hope I wasn't disrupting your rest. I would like to talk… if you don't mind?" He spoke softly as Caleb gestured him into the room.

It caught Caleb's attention immediately that the man wasn't floating, but walking instead. They sat on the couch as he responded, "Ah, I was having some trouble sleeping. You weren't interrupting anything. What is it you would like to discuss friend?"

"I ah.." He fidgeted with his fingers. The drow wasn't wearing his usual mantle, but instead the more comfortable robes that were provided to him from the tower. Caleb let his eyes momentarily linger on the way the clothing frames Essek's small figure. The way the deep blues and purples frame his gorgeous dark skin. Caleb promptly tries very hard to stuff these thoughts down.

"I took notice of the recent… developments of the eyes on beauregard's and your bodies. It… concerns me. The acquisition of such powers surely means that something was taken in exchange, and I am unsure of what that was." Essek says with worry laced in his voice. His eyes rise to meet Caleb's.

"..ja. I too am a bit uneasy about the current situation. Though it just makes our goal that much more important, does it not?" He replied, flashing a faint reassuring smile.

"I guess it does." The other wizard's gaze falls to his lap.

'That's not really what you came here to talk about. Is it?' Slips from Caleb's mind before he can even think to stop it.

The drow visibly flinches in surprise, then sighs slightly. "There was something else on my mind, yes."

Caleb slowly, ever so slowly, reaches his hand over to touch Essek's. "I'm here if something is wrong."

He is very aware of what Essek was referring to. However, he doesn't know what is going through the other man's brain, as thin smooth fingers meet his calloused ones halfway. A slight smile plays at the corners of Essek's mouth, and Caleb once again feels his focus begin to slip. He focuses on the feeling of Essek's hand in his. Soft skin, clearly not used to the harsher weather of the frozen wasteland as of late, his fingers only rough in the areas where one would hold a quill.

Strands of silver-white hair hover on his forehead, slightly covering vibrant violet eyes. Oh it is a sight to behold. Dark skin growing impersivibly darker. How he works at his bottom lip nervously. Caleb finds himself fighting back the desperate want to feel this man against him. To hold him close and study his features on a much more intimate level. Essek's ear twitches.

"I ah… I thank you for your.. Compliments..?" He stutters out as his face flushes an even darker shade of purple.

Something inside of Caleb breaks, and he finds it becoming increasingly harder to hold back the growing need to bring the wizard close.

"I apologize for not being able to return such… appraisal," the drow mumbles out, looking anywhere but Caleb's eyes. His other hand raises up Caleb's arm, settling on the crook of his neck. "I hope I can live up to your expectations, Widowgast." He smiles nervously.

Caleb's mind goes blank. Soft lips brush his own and his restraint vanishes. They crash together in feverish movements, a warm pressure on his lips that grounds him in the moment. It's so much better than he could've ever imagined. The sensation of Essek's mouth on his is something he wants to savor forever. He wants to memorize every movement and feeling of the man pushing against him, as if this was a rare slip-up and it would never happen again. Maybe he was dreaming after all, but the feeling of Essek starting to nibble at his lower lip quickly reassures him that this is very much real.

Something sharp catches Caleb's lip, and he recoils a bit in surprise. Essek immediately pulls back, a flash of worry crossing his face.

"Fangs." Caleb mutters out, breathless. "I was not aware you had fangs."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean-" he gets cut off by Caleb leaning in once more, capturing his mouth hungerly. His fingers lace through Essek's hair as he pushes onto him, desperate to be closer. More. He wants more.

Apparently Essek heard him, as the drow parts his mouth, allowing him to deepen the kiss. Caleb runs his tongue over the sharpened points of Essek's fangs, feeling a shiver as he does so. They merge together, desperate to taste each other. To explore every inch. It's perfect. Absolutely perfect. He wants this moment to last forever.

They pull away after what feels like hours, but still isn't long enough. Essek's breath dances on Caleb's lips, mere inches away. Caleb smiles and presses another quick kiss to Essek's mouth.

"I think you far surpassed my expectations, Thelyss."

Thank you so much!! I think Black Knight and White Knight being siblings has a lot of fun dynamics to it and I feel like from the show both BK and WK have a lot more history that we never got to see! In my au WK (I do not have an alternative name for him yet) started off working for the Nanite research group when they began develop of the nanites. He was not a researcher in any regard but he was a hired hand; there to protect the facility where the research was conducted but also to protect the researchers, their lab techs, and any other associated people. He lived in the research facility with BK/Brook along side many of the researchers. Brook was not a hired hand, but was instead simply WK's younger sibling which he took on the duties of looking after her. He convinced the research facility to allow her to live there since she has no one else but him to look after her. Brook tended to get in trouble as she tried to be like her older brother and play 'soldier' basically. This reckless but normal child behavior is what caused Brook to get into a serious accident in the facility, leading for the researchers to use the nanites out of desperation to save her life. While successful, WK didn't learn about both her injury until hours later, and even later that nanites were used to save her life. WK isn't a researcher, he doesn't know much if anything about the nanites. He is kept away from her while the researchers end up having an accidental guinea pig to study, what little times he's able to briefly see her she isn't doing the best or always having tests run on her.

In an action motivated by anger of the situation, he uh, kinda is maybe the one who sabotages the nanite project in hopes that researchers would become focused on fixing a bigger issue than his sister. It backfires horribly and ends up causing the nanite event instead. He survives the nanite event, as well as a BK and a few other researchers but he doesn't know this as he couldn't find any survivors when he came to after the event.

The researchers who did survive (Caesar/White Bishop, Dr. Van Kleiss, and Rylander) go on to try and restart the nanite program in an attempt to fix the outcome of the nanite event but face difficulties because they each had very limited information they worked with. (I think like all high security research facilities, information is kept separate from individuals so information cannot be leaked in full and to keep people in the dark from the full gravity of what they're working on. Kinda like something along the lines of ITAR regulations but like, if it was more biological based?) So restarting the nanite project was basically starting from scratch. WK learns this as Providence becomes a thing to handle EVOs and personally is trying to stop the nanite project from restarting. He does not know Brook is alive and is also a child soldier under Providence but the surviving researchers also do not know that WK is her older brother since they focused on their research, not who was protecting them.

WK does end up being nanite free later on and uh, it's honestly all Brook's fault and it's almost directly after she learns who WK is in relation to herself. I haven't worked much past that but that's what I have for WK in the au thus far!

You sighed shakily on the other side of the doors, three curious cadets eyeing you over.

“Let's get back to work guys.” You said, and without another word the four of you were sweeping, dusting, and mopping in silence. Just as you were wrapping up in the kitchen, Erwin appeared in the doorway asking for you. Jean pointed in the direction of the kitchen doors as you were pulling them open.

Your brows raised in question but Erwin’s character wouldn’t allow him to answer you just yet, instead he simply opened the canteen door wider prompting you to step through and follow him down the hall. The silence was heavy, the only noise being your collective footfalls. Erwin turned his head in your direction, smiling down at you.

“I heard about your experience from the other day, how are you feeling?” He waited patiently for your response, watching the way you were sputtering trying to quickly get your words out.

“I-I’m okay now, glad to be up and about cleaning for once. Heh.” You chuckled awkwardly, his face remained unchanging.

“Glad to hear it. Step into my office.” With that he opened his heavy office door, and inside Levi and Hange were still present, the latter turning in their chair to face you.

“Ohh, Y/N!” They said, pleased with your appearance.

“Don’t act so surprised Four Eyes, we’ve only been talking about what to do with her for the last three hours.” Levi grunted, a tired look to his eyes. They flicked in your direction for only a moment before watching as Erwin took his seat behind his desk.

“So, let’s get to the point, shall we? Y/N we’ll continue our research of course, only this time Eren Jeager will be attending. We’ll use what we know about him to help you tap into whatever titan abilities you may have. There are many things we need to test for, you see, Hange if you will.” Erwin prompted. Hange turned to where you sat flipping through their notes to explain what they all know about titans from previous work with Eren and experience outside the walls.

“First, we tested to see if you could transform. That’s still up in the air, with that comes healing and regeneration...” Hange paused to gage your reaction, you looked puzzled.

“Regeneration? What do you mean?”

“Think of it like this, brat... If I cut off your arm now, will it grow back tomorrow?” Levi questioned, his tone seemed threatening but you couldn’t tell if you should actually be worried or not. You swallowed loudly, your hand coming to rub comfortingly against your forearm.

“E-eh! But no worries Y/N! That won’t happen! We do have to test it but we won't take any limbs, or even any phalanges!! Just a cut to your palm to see how fast you heal, titans and shifters heal much faster than normal humans from what we’ve seen.” They continued to explain, you masked your nausea with forced determination.

They need to know, and the more they know the quicker this can be over. Not that you know what will happen to you after all of this.

“And if you can shift, can you move during the nighttime, because most cannot. How did you manage to regain your humanity? Are there others like you? Can you communicate with them? These are things we need to know.” Erwin added, his blue eyes floating over your face, taking in your features. Visibly scared and reluctant, a storm in your eyes.

"Basically, if you're of any use or are you worthless." Levi added flatly.

“But the good news is, we’re still the only ones that know about you. You’re safe here, Y/N. We’re not planning on letting anyone know of your existence until we know wall that there is to know. The others can be...” Erwin searched for the word in his mind before Levi cut in.

“Idiotic? Useless? Dimwitted? They wanted to cut the other brat open when they found out about him.” Levi said, crossing on leg over the other.

“The others?” You asked, your lips were parted in astonishment. Cut him open?

“The military police and the church.” He replied matter of factly, noting your bewilderment.

“Thats exactly why we want to keep things under wraps before they catch word. They don’t have experience with titans so their fear takes hold and they become irrational. They’d sooner kill you before hearing you out.” Erwin said, lacing his fingers together on his desk. This was a lot to take in. Things were more complicated than you had previously presumed, but even still what did you expect? You know nothing of these people and their society. All you have ever known was this one base.

You heaved a shaking sigh before shifting uncomfortably in your seat. Hange. Levi, and Erwin all exchanged quick glances before changing the topic of conversation.

“Well, I have good news, Y/N!” Hange cooed, wrapping their arm over your shoulder and pulling you close. The cloud of negativity in your head instantly dissipated at the contact.

“What is it?” You asked, curiosity prickling your skin.

“I feel bad only seeing you clean and get hurt here, so I got permission to let you help out in the kitchen at meal times! You can help cook!”

“Really?” You glanced between Hange and Erwin, who only smiled in response.

“I think I'd love to cook... t-thank you so much.” You said, suddenly feeling like a part of your character revolved around cooking and eating with your family, though the full memory eludes you still. Levi scoffed, folding his arms together.

“We don’t eat human meat around here, if I find even a single finger in my soup--” He was quickly cut off by Hange’s boisterous laughter.

“Lighten up Levi! This’ll be good for Y/N.” Hange said, giving you a squeeze before heading for the door. Levi’s eyes narrowed at Hange’s words before they slid over to you. Your smile, your eyes looking soft and appreciative. Your bottom lip trembled for only a moment before you sharply inhaled and lifted your head.

“Follow me Y/N! I’ll show you the food we got!” Hange said and you followed their lead. Levi hadn’t noticed but his frown instantly vanished the moment he saw you almost brought to tears by this new job for you. Erwin always the one with sharp eyes for these things hummed to himself in thought.

“How are things?” He asked, bringing Levi back down to earth.

“Tiring. She used to be insufferable, utterly a chore to be around.” Levi complained, surveying his nail beds to keep from making eye contact with his Commander.

“Used to be?” Erwin asked, a playful lilt to his words. Levi’s brow twitched before he stood to take his leave, wordlessly.

For dinner that night, tomato soup with bread. Unlike what the cooks for the evening were used to, you added cream to the soup and other seasonings you found collecting dust.

“OOOOH! WHO’S ON KITCHEN DUTY? I need to hug them!” Sasha announced, shedding euphoric tears at the unusual, yet delicious flavor. The other young cadets exchanged cautious looks before simultaneously taking a small spoonful of the soup into their mouths.

The table fell silent as they assessed the flavor, then the next second only the sounds of spoons, slurping, and blissful sighs could be heard. The squad leader table, consisting of Levi, Hange, Miche, Moblit, and Erwin watch as their cadets chow down.

“Bunch of pigs...” Levi comments, he turns his attention to Hange who he finds eating just as monstrously as the cadets. He groans eyeing his soup over; he glances to Erwin who just finished his first bite.  He gives a delighted hum at the food before dipping in his spoon for another. Miche sniffs, a smile forming on his face. He and Moblit dig in leaving only Levi who hasn’t tasted yet.

Having finished cleaning up in the kitchen, you joined their table with a bowl filled with your own soup. You felt giddy hearing the way Sasha and Connie whined for more food.

“Do you like it?” You asked Levi, seeing as how he didn’t seem to be having as much of an outward reaction as everyone else. Your eyes caught a glimpse of his spoon, completely clean. You couldn’t fight the way your shoulders dropped seeing that he hadn’t even tasted it yet.

“Oh... well, I hope you like it.” You said before grabbing your spoon and taking your first bite. Your lips curled into a satisfied smile before you went for another, and then a third. Levi couldn’t deny that it smelled nice and fresh, different from when regular cadets had their turn to scrape something together.

Levi gave his soup one last look before finally dipping his spoon in and taking it to his lips. You waited with bated breath for his commentary. The two of you used to butt heads a lot, but something in you wanted his approval on mundane things. Maybe it was that you wanted him to think differently of you. Maybe it was something else.

Seeing as you weren't going to take silence for an answer, with the way you even ventured to scoot closer to him, Levi felt pressured to respond. He sighed dramatically, rolling his head on his shoulders in agitation.

“It’s edible.” He said, cocking his brow at you, daring you to complain. You snorted at the comment before returning to your soup and he did the same in silence. It was really good, but his pride wouldn’t allow him to admit that it’s the best thing he’d eaten in a long time.

“Y/N were you a chef in a past life or something?” Hange asked, not realizing the unintentional gravity of their question, but you ignored the painful throb it gave your heart.

“I’m not sure, haha.” You replied wearily, your chuckle was forced and there was no smile to your eyes. It wasn’t Hange’s fault, you desperately wanted to remember who you were. Or, at least, you quickly wanted to make peace with the fact that you may never know. Moblit gave Hange a soft nudge with his elbow, nodding in your direction. Hange noticed you looked sad for a moment, but quickly deflected the growing melancholy.

“I’m glad you liked the food! I had to learn how to work a lot of the things back there, but once I did, I had a lot of fun. Got my mind off things for a few hours.” You said, a sad smile on your lips, but a genuine one. The table fell silent for a moment but it was interrupted by Levi standing from his seat.

“Meet me outside.”

Your brows knitted together in confusion at the order, but nevertheless, after you deposited your bowl and his at the sink in the kitchen you did as you were told. You met him outside where he kept his back to you. Next to him sat a few buckets and scrubbing brushes. More chores. Great.

“You’re not as troublesome as you used to be. Today was your last day of cleaning duty. I'm upgrading you to stable duty. Keep ‘em clean and orderly how I like.” That didn’t sound like much of a gift, but you were happy to not need to clean the entire kitchen all the time anymore.

“Take care of the horses, feed and water them, brush ‘em out all of that. It’s dirty work, but I imagine you’ll enjoy the horse's company.” He said, finally turning to face you. He stalked forward to you, closer than he has ever been before. Reading the situation completely wrong your heart fluttered in your chest, your cheeks burning at the sudden proximity.

“The horses are important and vital to scouting missions. You mess up, you’re done. That’s it.”

“O-okay! Thank you, Captain!”

“Don’t call me that...”

“Thank you, Levi!” You corrected instantly, sweat beading at your brow. You don’t understand why now you were so insecure in Levi’s presence but, that’s something you’ll put to the back of your mind for now. This was a big job requiring a lot of trust from him, the fruits of your labor.

“There's only three things you need to worry about now. Cooking, shoveling horse shit, and getting Erwin results from your titan experiments. So, get it done.”

You nodded in response and with that, he left you to get acquainted with the horses. You watched as he disappeared inside, you turned on your heel and when rounding the corner there they were. The stables were modest, just wood and nail constructed to house a fleet of horses. On the inside, it was dirty. Very dirty . Whoever’s job it was to clean this before were obviously lacking in discipline you thought. You whined but before getting yourself dirty making this place clean, you met the horses.

The horses farthest to the end was Levi’s, a huge stallion with marvelous shiny black fur. A luscious mane, and kind eyes. You smiled at the horse, offering your hand for it to sniff. It huffed at you before lowering its head for you to caress.

“Your rider makes me nervous. How do you work with him so well?” The horse whinnied in response making you laugh.

“Look, I’m not sure if I’m afraid of him or just desperate for his faith. But it’s doing a number on my nerves either way.” The horse neighed loudly, swishing its tail back and forth.

“Don’t laugh at me! I’m serious! One moment he’s mean and intimidating, the next it’s like he kind of thinks I’m tolerable. Like I’m his friend at least sometimes!” You pressed your forehead to the horse's snout before humming to yourself.

“Well, horsey, next time you see him, tell him to give me a break. Now let's get this place cleaned up."

Outside the stable, Levi listened as you retrieved the rake and began shoveling the hay around. His arms were folded over his chest, his once knitted brows softening as his eyes shifted to his feet at the ground. He had come to tell you not to bother with brushing out his horse, in fear that it wouldn’t be up to his standards but...

He thinks his horse is in good hands now.

Ok here's the next entry in what I think I'm going to refer to as the "hero's Burden AU." I'm going to try and divide the idea into sections to help me organize my thoughts and help make things easier to digest. But two notes first before I begin: 1) this idea is free for anyone to use if they feel like it. While I like to think I'd be able to sit down and write this fully one day, my life is too chaotic right now to commit to it and I'd like to see what people think about it even if it's little ideas. 2) this is mostly for you cap, feel free to let me know if I'm spamming the inbox too much or like overhearing or something. I don't want to bother anyone becuase I'm rambling or posting where I shouldn't or something. I know you'll probably think it's fine but you know *shrugs* anxiety...

Okay on to the actual topic which is I want to start with the villains and what their motivations are as well as how they'll actually be antagonizing Paris.

To begin here's each members motivations as well as their miraculous match. First is Gabriel who lost Emile to a tragic accident and kind of disillusioned himself with reality in his grief. He's become obsessed with the idea that he can change anything for the better and he turns to the miraculous and the spell book (I'll expand on this further down) to do so. His miraculous is the fox. Part of this is becuase his experience as a designer makes him much more able to create illusions of how he wants reality to look like. This is kind of the other part of his choice in that he kind of looses himself in the falsehood of his vision. He can't accept the loss he's experienced becuase he's GOING TO fix things. Emile is never gone, just out of reach in his mind.

Nathalie shares a motivation with Gabriel but leans more on how focused she is on the discord it's caused in those she cares about. She misses Emile a lot but she's more worried about how far gone Gabriel is and how that's affecting Adrien in the progress. She considers them her family too and she'll to anything to give them back that stability and peace, hence the choice to weild the ladybug. Her fault is that I. Her pursuit is in bringing back the order that existed before rather than adapting to change.

Gorilla gets a lot of back story here. Essentially Gorilla was always known for protecting people. He used to be a decorated officer on the force with a wonderful daughter waiting for him at home. Unfortunately a criminal manages to pin a murder on him and not only gets the Gorilla sent to prison, but his only daughter gets put into the foster system. He spends years inside with only the thought of seeing his daughter again holding him together. Unfortunately even though he gets out a few years early do to good behavior (he became practically mute inside.) he finds out that he can't regain custody of his daughter as she's already been adopted by another family. Eventually he ends up working for the Argestes since they're the only ones willing to look over his record. When they eventually offer him the turtle with the promise that he can both get his daughter and protect everyone he cares about, he joins their cause. He has less fault with his miraculous and it's more about who she's choosing to punish/protect.

Next I'm thinking Ms. Medeleiev (wow that's a tough one to remember the spelling). She gets an expanded back story too in that she's a former renown scientist with a huge focus on the environment. She sees the damage done to the earth and she sees the very real doomsday clock that will happen if things aren't taken seriously. One day she used her research to challange a massive company responsible for a horrific amount of pollution but instead the company somehow managed to forge documents to completely shatter her reputation. Becoming a science teacher was the best she could do after that. The villain team see her as someone willing to do what must be done to "save the world" and so, while she stubbornly hates the fact that magic is somehow real and is desperate to break it down into a science she can understand, she joins them. Her miraculous is the black cat so that she can show the world what kind of destruction is waiting for them if the world doesn't wise up. Her fault is that she used chaos and destruction for fear when, in truth, death and chaos are the tools meant to pave the way for the new.

Now finally it's the Bee which is kind of where I ran out of steam. I've been trying to think of others that i would be willing to turn to the more darkside but still have some shred of morals. Instead I decided to go with someone who could probably follow a more traditional villain mindset and likely serve as a corrupting influence to the villain team since honestly the idea is that these are people who are trying to do good but in like the worst way possible. They kind of need that push to stop them from questioning themselves and keep them on their path. Someone to show that despite redemption and redeeming qualities being very important topics in this potential AU, that some people are honestly genuinely selfish and are likely driven more by fear than any real positive desire. That's why I went with Audrey for the Bee. She's someone that the villains think is easily manipulated but instead is slowly corrupting them. Audrey is driven by a deep fear of time itself. Aging, decay, and loss of legacy are what drive her. She wants a world where beauty is eternal and so is she. That's how her use of the bee is twisted. Freezing everything eternally with no chance for change or growth becuse there's fear that those changes won't be for the better.

Okay this is getting long but we're almost there. The last part is an explanation of how they go about their plans and how they can stay a threat despite having static miraculous. Remember the spell book? That's the key to their plan. The miraculous make them strong but the spell book is what let's them take action. Gabriel in his studying of the spell book has discovered that he can actually cast powerfull spells if he uses pages of the book itself as the power sources since its filled with leftover magic from past guardians. So essentially he figured out what he wants to do, rips a page of the book out and fills it with desired spell and so begins the plan. The heroes, in order to save the day, have to capture the page itself since it needs to be at the center of whatever its doing. Capturing the page and breaking the spell also reverts the world back to the way it was before it was cast. So over time the more pages they use, the less spells they can cast, and the more pages the heroes can collect, and thus the heroes start learning more and more from the information they gather. (also to make sure things aren't too easy for the heroes, the pages loose their magic after the spell so while the heroes learn more about magic and the miraculous from the pages they collect, they can't just turn around and start casting their own spells.)

Okay heres the final part. I want to end this segment with an example of what one of their plans/spells would do. As a spinoff of stormy weather, Ms. Medeleiev would use a spell to cast a super storm in the city as an example of the kind of damage global warming can have on the weather and that that if the world wants to prevent this disaster from happening then the heroes must turn over their miraculous.

Dear Ms. Dupain-Cheng,

In my desperation it seems I have acted quite far out of line. You see, a lot is riding on my ability to procure adequate gifts for my brothers. If I fail, my father may send me away in order to teach me a lesson in social skills. My brothers are huge fans of yours (I will also admit your artistry is very impressive) and have, not for a lack of trying, been unable to find out who you are. I have no doubt that if I get them MDC originals for Christmas then I will be able to stay.

This does not excuse my previous email however. I will ruefully admit that I’m often told I assume too much but few people have been so effective in pointing this out to me as yourself. I admit my methods were morally and legally unjust. I apologize and request forgiveness. Perhaps you could overlook my rather offensive first email and we could start again.

As for the blackmailing, I meant it when I said I have no desire to reveal your identity. I won’t. I realize now that would only make my own situation worse (my brothers would probably kill me on your behalf) but that is not my only motivator. In my research I learned about your situation in school. I will agree that I do not know the truth of the matter as well as yourself but I have no wish to make anything worse. I suppose you may as well have made the best choices you could’ve as it seems your classmates refuse to see reason. That must be inconvenient.

If this, my first apology, or the promised monetary compensation are still not enough to persuade you to still allow me to order my brothers MDC originals perhaps I may offer my help as well. I may not know the situation like you but I do have resources you might find useful. After all, they did allow me to find your identity.

I’m looking forward to your reply without any expectations of when it will come. (I’m told sleep is important though.)

Chapter 8

Easter was this weekend. You never celebrated in a religious sense but liked the preparation for it in school, like the crafting of egg baskets or drawing on eggshells. Still, you didn't like the thought of it passing without your dad by your side. The thought of him not hiding a few sweets around the house was saddening.

It's been almost three months without him, and while you weren't losing hope, clinging to the thought of him being alive, you really wanted him to be home for Easter so you could give him the egg you had colored in art class. It had the easter bunny on it. Or rather your best impression of it. You really didn't know what a humanoid rabbit had to do with jesus coming back from the dead, but you liked to think it had some connection. And now you had no smart ass dad who would answer your question with an outrageous and funny story exactly why the Easter-bunny and Jesus were connected before telling you the real truth an hour or so later. It bummed you out. And researching it yourself didn't have the same feeling to it.

Tuesday evening you were unaware what was just happening on a continent miles and miles from home. While you were falling asleep in his bed that was barely holding his scent anymore, a certain someone had just escaped his captors. Miles and miles away from home. And was now lost in a seemingly endless desert.

So you fell asleep feeling secure surrounded by the faint smell of your father still lingering deep within his unchanged sheets.

The dream you were having was hectic. It had slides, fireworks, a gameshow with ghosts and much more seemingly senseless themes that made complete sense within the dream.

Around 3am, maybe later, you were woken up by your uncle. He was shaking you a bit. Gently whispering for you to wake up, that he had good news and such.

You, half asleep, sat up yawning and were handed a phone by an ecstatic looking uncle Happy.

"Hello?" You mumbled as you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes. Still exhausted from the early wake up.

"Hey, Stark Jr. Good morning. I have someone here who desperately wants to talk to you. He said it can't wait. Should I let him?" Rhodey's voice came through the speaker sounding as if he was speaking through a smile.

In your tired confusion you just said "Yeah?" not really thinking about anything but how tired you were.

"Hey Bug. How are you?" The tired familiar voice sounded through the phone and awoke you suddenly.

You paused for a second, your still half sleeping brain processing the voice that was ringing through the phones speaker. Your stomach had reacted before you and was giving you a ton of happy little kicks.

"Daddy?" You asked in a shushed tone almost afraid it wasn't true. That your mind was just playing a cruel trick on you. But smiling nonetheless.

"Yeah Bug, how've you been?" A voice that clearly belonged to your father said softly with a smile you wouldn't be able to see.

"Daddy!" you said as your grin grew.

"Yeah I think we went over that."

"I'm great! Are you okay? When are you coming home?" you said basically bouncing up and down in his bed.

"I'm fine now. We're boarding the plane in a few minutes so about, a handful of hours? I'll be home soon don't worry. What's the time over there? Did Happy wake you up?"

"I don't know, yes. Come home soon daddy. Can I pick you up at the airport?"

"Of course, you and Pepper and Happy will all come to the airport later okay?"

"Okay!"

There was a short pause.

"I have to hang up now sweetie, see you soon. I love you."

"I love you too daddy. See you later."

And with that the call ended and your cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so brightly, happy tears were rolling down your cheeks. You sniffles as you said the next words.

"Uncle Happy, Daddy's coming home!" You jumped around the bed full of energy you didn't know what to do with before engulfing you uncle in a hug. Happy smiled and returned the bear hug.

"I have to show daddy what I've done while he was gone! Where is my diary? I need to check it." Happy handed you your diary together with your pen knowing full well you wouldn't go back to sleep now. You began flipping through it perfecting everything so your dad would know in full detail what you did the last three months. Happy left you to it and began making breakfast. Really early breakfast.

You ate and went to school like normal but today you were telling everyone about why you were so happy. The fatigue from being woken up so early hadn't set in at all.

Back home you prepared your diary some more and put the timeline you had crafted in school with your pictures in the back.

"Daddy will like this." you said to yourself and put it in your backpack ready to go pick him up. Though you were gonna have to wait one more hour for that.

You just bounced around the mansion making sure all your craftsmanship was still intact so your dad would be able to see them and be proud. Knowing that if you sit down for too long you'll fall asleep.

You also couldn't wait to show him the egg you had painted in school. You couldn't wait for all the things you had planned with him to happen.

When Happy had called you to get going you basically sprinted into the car. Your legs where bouncing up and down so fast that your didn't see them clearly.

On your way to pick up your dad you picked up Pepper too. She seemed like she had been crying so you gave her a hug, hers always made you feel better. So you returned the favour basically.

You talked the whole drive there about all the things you were going to do together. The amusement park being highest on your list, followed by going camping, and the zoo and playing together. And not to forget showing him all the progress you had made with the force.

As soon as the car was parked you jumped out and looked around yourself only to see nobody. That was a bit of a downer but you could live through a few more minutes of wait. You passed your time by talking to the strangers present at the site. Some paramedics gave you a lollipop. So you stuck with them for almost 20 minutes just talking about everything and nothing.

A plane soon landed and rolled up to you all. When the ramp opened you were basically vibrating with excitement. As soon as it touched the ground you said screw waiting and ran up to your dad. The impact of your hug almost sending him backwards if Rhodes hadn't been there to grab onto his arm.

"Good to see you again Bug. I hope you didn't miss me too much." You just held onto him for a few minutes until you were certain that this was your father and that he was actually back. When you looked up at him you were crying.

"Come here buddy." Rhodey said and stretched out his arms. As you went to him he picked you up and carried you down the ramp.

"I missed you too, you know? It's not like I have seen you either in the past months." Rhodey commented and tickled you.

"Where's my hug huh? Where's my hug?" He said grinning as you squirmed and laughed from being tickled.

Rhodey sat you down while your dad was talking to Pepper. You gave him a quick hug and ran away, not wanting to get tickled again.

Once you all were in the car Pepper was in the front seat first making phone calls, after bickering with your dad, while you were ranting to your dad about all the things you had done and learned while he was away.

"I can crush a spoon now!"

"Oh really? Show me ."

"But I dont have one."

"You can show me once we're home alright?"

You nodded and continued your rambling and how you had some gifts for him so he would know what you did while he was away.

When you stopped at Burger king you got some chicken nuggets from them, then it was off to the press conference Pepper had organized short term. She seemed really stressed.

You walked into the building walking next to your father, still eating your nuggets while the press people took pictures. You smiled and waved at some of them but didn't answer them as your mouth was full. It was bad to talk with your mouth full, you could choke and it was rude.

Inside a man named AGENT Coulson grabbed your attention and you decided to stick with Pepper and him instead of your dad and Obie. You still had a clear view of your father so all was fine.

"Is your name really Agent?" You asked him before he could even say hello.

"...No, uh my name is Phil Coulson, agent is like a title. Cool shirt by the way." he answered pointing at your Captain Magic shirt.

"That's sad, agent would be a cool name. And thank you Daddy bought it." You said, Phil just nodded.

You were about to ask another question when your father started talking. You listened a bit but decided to just look at the agent instead trying to figure him out. That seemed much more interesting.

You stayed standing since you weren't paying attention and a few people chuckled when your father was telling you directly to sit down. Embarrassed you did as told.

Once your dad was done with his announcement all hell broke lose, people were taking pictures and asking questions but your dad just went off the stage and out of the room with Obie.

You were confused about the ruckus so you stayed with Phil, he seemed nice and Pepper and Rhodes were close by so you felt safe. Also it looked like they were going to argue and you really didn't like it when they did.

"So, are you like a spy?" You asked him picking the crumbs out of you chicken nuggets box.

"No, I mean kind of? I'm an Agent, I'm working with the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division."

"Thats a long name. What are you doing here? Spying?"

"No," he chuckled "We need to ask your father about the circumstances of his escape. I already made out a date with miss Potts. So I think I will see you again soon," Escape? So he was kidnapped? You shrugged off the thought.

"Cool... So do you have a gun then, like in the movies?"

"I do have a gun from time to time but not currently."

"What do you do with it? Kill people?"

"I try not to."

You were stunned, there was a person who claimed that he was an agent for a Division you had never heard of and he was telling you how he had probably killed a few people. Your mouth was hanging open.

Before you could ask any other questions he was gone and so was everybody else besides Pepper who was waiting for you.

At home, once you two were alone, you told Tony all about what you've been up to while he read your diary. You talked and talked and talked until you were finally tired. You fell asleep on the couch with a piece of Pizza still in your hand.

Tony smiled down fondly at you, despite you being torn away from him for almost three months you didn't treat him much differently than before.

You were still the rambling mess of a little boy he remembered. And very inquisitive about the arc reactor in his chest.

He put down your diary, took the pizza piece, and covered your body with a blanket.

Well you might have become a bit more clingy. He thought while stroking your hair softly. He had been so afraid of what might happen to you if he doesn't come back. He didn't want you to end up like him. He wants you to grow up knowing that you can rely on him, that you always have his support. And he cant do that when he's dead.

He shuddered out a sigh and put you to bed.

Hey, I am sorry to bother you, but I saw you rebloged something about PCOS and how you rejected birth control as a treatment, I am currently trying to find a doctor that will give me something other than pills and had no success, can I ask a little more about your experience? Thank you, God bless you!

Im sorry this took me so long to answer, but I felt like I needed to give it the time for a proper response.  Under the cut cause it got long.

I do have PCOS, as diagnosed the OBGYN who put me on the pill. Ironically, my mother told me “shes Catholic too, and its ok if its for medical reasons.” I listened; after all, at nineteen, I had no knowledge of alternatives. What followed was a period I call “The Dark Times”. Birth Control “balances” your hormones; sure, my periods were finally manageable, but over time, it started to eat away at my mental state. I became indifferent to things I used to valued; I allowed the wrong people to influence me. I made a series of poor decisions that led me into an emotionally abusive relationship. Its not hard to imagine how that further spiraled into a life of sin. I wont go into the details here, because that’s not what this ask is about. (No, my parents still dont know about this a decade later and Id like to keep it that way.)

When it finally manifested as a serious depression, my OBGYN simply prescribed me antidepressants. I was willing to take them because “most people I know are depressed”. But my mom was wiser than I, and rejected them. Much later I learned that antidepressants have a family history of backfiring drastically. My mom instead said, “something with this is wrong”, and started to do her own research. My mother has the medical knowledge in the family, and I am grateful that she has the wherewithal to not take doctors advice at face value. And to actually comprehend the research into alternatives. Through that, I learned that with proper diet, maybe a few supplements, and exercise, it was possible to reduce the symptoms of PCOS. Around this time, I had become somewhat despondent and was desperate for any way out of an increasingly bad situation. I missed being myself. Not one to do things by halves, I left my relationship, all the friends I had made during that time, and stopped taking birth control. (Disclaimer: please do not discontinue anything you were prescribed without a doctors supervision.) Oh yeah, I also never went back to that doctor. Occasionally the pharmacy will still fill my old prescriptions for BC, oops. Within a couple weeks of it being out of my system, I was able to be myself again. Surprising how such a seemingly small thing can make such a big impact on your life. With my parents help and support, I made it on my own for a long time. No doctors. I often dont trust them anyway, so it wasnt hard to avoid them.

Part of this process involved a good bit of trial and error to learn what diet and supplements would work best for me. This is not something I would advise doing without solid medical knowledge, because supplements may sound safe, but it takes a lot to make sure they dont interact with each other. I tried a few alternative hormone supplements, and found that a majority of them also messed with my head--which is one of the ways I know it wasnt entirely my own screw ups that led to The Dark Times, but that BC played a part in it.

When I did return to vaguely normal doctor visits, I simply refused BC. I think I straight up told a pushy doctor one time that it messed up my mental health, and theyve thankfully never pushed it again. Its worth doing the research to find a doctor who does not prescribe to the “BC is the magic answer to everything” agenda, but I realize this is easier said than done. Ive had good luck with naturalist doctors. In fact, the last one I had gave me diet suggestions, an additional supplement to take, and suggested metformin for my genetically high cholesterol. While unfortunately I am unable to continue seeing her (her office moved and its too far away for me now), I still follow the outline she laid for me and Ive been very happy with it so far. I miss her, she was good.

The up side is this: all of that information is now in my medical record, so even if I go to a generic physician, I dont have to repeat information. They already know what is working for me, and have chosen not to mess with that. Which may not be a common practice, but Im grateful for it.

Anyway, thats my imperfect experience... and I hope its somewhat helped you, even if I dont have direct medical advice. Just “do your research and be your own advocate!” I wish I had more useful information to share with you.

I think there are other Catholic blogs here who also have experience with PCOS and may be better able to point you in the direction of medical information to assist you. I cant remember which blogs those are right now, but feel free to comment or something with extra information if you have it!

As a last note, please, do not consider this post as me advocating for disregarding a doctors advice... mental health and physical health are important and you should be very careful in altering either of them... If BC works for you, then great. I just want people to be aware that it may *not* always be great and that it can have effects one doesnt normally think about. So its important to know your body, and your medical information, so you can make the best decision for you.

Totally random thought: imagining dr maddiman's ex wife getting obsessed with yokai after he died

Im thinking she did still deeply care about him even though she broke up with him. She had every right to do it and thats why the story is so sad! We the player know that maddiman really is a good guy, that yokai really are real and that he started his mad research on them with the initial motivation of love for his family. Hell, we know that he did love his family! But from their perspective they didnt understand why he became distant and honestly it seems like his wife gave him so many chances and tried really damn hard to get him to talk about his problems, but it just didnt work out that way. I feel like she left because she thought he didnt love her anymore, not because she didnt love him. And also she left to do what was right for their son, cos he was never around to help raise him and they were probably quite poor if Maddiman was so obsessed with this wild conspiracy theory stuff and that was his only job now instead of actually running the hospital. It says how all the other doctors thought he was crazy and resigned... :(

So yeah i imagine she probably got a phone call about him collapsing at work and by the time she managed to get a flight back overseas he was probably already dead. I can only imagine how horrifically panicked that flight must have been, and how she probably blamed herself for his death even though honestly she made the right choice. Like it was a complex situation where nobody was really at fault and any decision would have been equally wrong and right simultaneously. But its hard to realize that nuance when youre the one in the middle of it all, and your ex just died on you...

So i was thinking about a SUPER DEPRESSING scene where she actually sees his ghost form for a second right when he dies? And he probably walked straight through her cos we know he experienced amnesia after becoming a yokai and just went straight back to work for the next 50 years until the player helped him out. And its supposed to be canon that its super rare for humans to be able to see yokai without a yokai watch, but id think that the actual momemt a yokai is first born would maybe have special rules?

So yeah she never told anyone what she saw cos she was scared they'd think she was crazy, and she grew desperate to learn everything about yokai just in case it was real. Just in case she'd have a chance to see him again.

And it was making her and her son more distabt cos he's like "stop believibg in stupid fairy tales like that damn old man!" Seeing it as the thing that led him down the path to his destruction and all. And being really worried how his mum did a total 180 and started believing that stuff when she used to hate it for tearing the family apart. Thinking that maybe she was just clinging to false hope because of the grief/trying to prove dad's theories were right so itd prove he had a good reason to neglect them...

And then it all gets very ironic when the son also dies and becomes a yokai, but it also means the mum is left all alone feeling like another thing was her fault when it wasnt. And its super depressing cos seriously she could have walked straight into the abandoned hospital and walked straight past her dead husband multiple times without seeing him. And now she cant see her dead son watching over her either. And she cant know how much they both love and miss her :(

I dunno, i just got this vibe from how the son seems to have died very young and how the fate of the mum is left completely up to player interpretation. I imagined maybe she's still alive and in a nursing home somewhere, with ghosty son haunting her and making sure she's okay. (Nitpicking all the nurses and moving the potted plants slightly to the left, etc)

But she'd be very very old if maddiman's death was 50 years ago, so it could be super sad if she dies right after the player learns the full story and such. Maybe even for max sadness it cpuld be right after finally reuniting all of them?

Tho im a wimp so i'd probably bring her back as a yokai too even tho its statistically improbable an entire family would all win the supernatural lottery like that

        it was a blustery october day when helen coyne doubled over in the park across the street from her house. she was meeting her boyfriend, edward lovington, and they had plans to get milkshakes and go to the movies.  instead she was rushed to the hospital under suspicion of a burst appendix, only to give birth to a healthy baby boy some minutes later.   this phenomenon would later be known to be the moment that 43 women around the world delivered babies without ever having been pregnant.  each child would have abilities beyond comprehension and some would go on to become students at the umbrella academy.  jax would not enjoy such a fate. 

      helen’s parents were extremely religious.  she and her boyfriend had pledged their chastity under the belief that they would be married come the summer and he believed her to have broken that vow.  he ended things with her and her family turned their backs on her.  only her brother kept in contact, allowing her and the baby to move into his guest house until they could get back onto their feet.  he was named jackson edward, after his maternal grandfather and his mother’s former love.  jax never met either man but had heard the story from his mother as he grew up.  to this day he doesn’t know why helen decided to keep him; why he wasn’t given up for adoption as a baby, or abandoned at the hospital on the day he was born. 

     desperate for love and looking in the wrong places, helen suffered a string of abusive and controlling men.  it was a circle of abuse that she seemed caught in, believing to her core that she deserved it because god had punished her.  this continued until jax was five, when her latest boyfriend scratched her face.  the cuts welled up - the first time a boyfriend had drawn blood in jax’s presence - but to everyone’s dismay, the wound coagulated and the blood disappeared, back where it came from.  her boyfriend would have killed them both - afraid of what he’d seen when jax yelled at him to stop - but his eyes ran red as the blood inside his body boiled and cooked him from the inside out.  the sound of his body hitting the floor was drowned out by helen’s screams.  jax was abandoned at a local orphanage days later, his mother unable to look at him as she believed he was a monster.  

        maine isn’t a big city.  the area they were in was extremely small, so whispers of what had happened to helen’s boyfriend ran rampant.  jax was branded a freak, kept in isolation at the orphanage in fear of what he’d do to the other children.  he didn’t understand his powers yet and believed what his mother said was true; that he was a monster and that he deserved whatever happened to him as a consequence of it.  he withdrew into himself and was selectively mute until his teen years, bouncing from foster home to foster home as he grew.   it was only when he was 13, now exploring his powers with a morbid curiosity he would later attribute to scientific hypothesis, that he started speaking again.  

     jax grew up very isolated and socially awkward.  he doesn’t always know how to talk to people or how to appropriately react in certain situations.  he’s very morbid, has a dark sense of humor, and has a lot of questionable interests.  his music taste is skewed towards screamo / emo music and heavy metal.  he prefers horror movies to essentially every other genre and spends hours listening to true crime podcasts and lives on CSI / Criminal Minds / SVU etc.  his favorite bands are my chemical romance, the used, saosin, underoath, black veil  brides, and disturbed. 

       academically, jax is kind of a genius.  he didn’t really have friends so he spent a lot of time studying.  he finds biology interesting because his own biology fascinates him.  he can control blood; can make it coagulate, raise his own blood pressure, and even create it from his own cells.  it doesn’t make sense.  it doesn’t fit into what he knows about the human condition and that fascinates him.  experimenting on himself has become second nature and he covered up the majority of the scarring with tattoos.  the only friend he ever had showed him how to do some of it himself as a teenager and he’s kept up with the hobby - buying cheap supplies online or cutting corners to keep up with the artwork decorating his body. 

     with two degrees under his bet, jax is swimming in debt.  honestly his checking account is a terrifying place to live.  he’s been low-key indulging in credit card scams for years to keep his head above water.  he has a ledger where he’s written down every card, every loan, and every payment he needs to pay back. it’s locked in a safe so no one can ever find it.  as a forensic pathologist he’ll make good money and hopefully be able to pay it all back before the cops come knocking down his door.

“Here, i got us some hot water...” Tara mumbled while carfully placing the Mugs on the table. With a slightly confused look, Kylo put down the book he was reading. What was he supposed to do with just hot water.

“Just wait...” Norma mumbled over to him. She was sitting in the Chair next to him, while Tara had sat herself across from him.

While she dug through her Bag, he tried to look into it as well, before she pulled out a Tinbox and got what seemed like three selfmade Teabags out of it.

Placing one Bag in every Mug, Kylo started to get excited and Tara smirked.

“Taras Tea Mix is the best, right?” Norma noddet with a knowing smile, blowing at the hot baverage to cool it down.

“So you made it?” he seemed surprised and Tara nodded.

“Cordelia and I use the Rest that we have left over to make Tea. We thought of selling it.” she explained.

“I would buy it.” Kylo said while gulping down the whole Mug, leaving Tara and Norma in shock.

“Are you alright?” Tara jumped up and the librarian shushed at her.

“Of course i´m okay.... ” she looked worried and he almost admitted that it almost looked cute.

“Oh...my water wasn´t that hot, it´s alright...” he suddenly explained and both of them seemed a bit more relieved.

“Don´t scare us like that...” Tara sighed and let herself fall back in her chair.

“I´ll get you another cup then.” “No i can get it, stay...” Kylo stood up before he placed his big Hand on her small shoulder, making his way to the other end of the libary.

“He really likes the Lavender Rosemary one.” she placed another Teabag on his side of the table and looked at the pile of books she had picked out.

She looked over her shoulder to Kylo, who was talking to a little boy, lifting him up so that the little one could reach a certain Childrens Book.

Without her noticing, she started to smile before she turned around again and saw Normas wide grin.

“What? Don´t give me that look!” Tara warned her Roommate and hid behind a book.

“So we were going here so you two could research some spells? Really?” Norma had the newest Comic Books, from X-men to Batman, in front of her and looked curious to the old books Kylo and Tara had picked.

“Well if we want to be in the Council, we must be prepaired for everything, right?”

And suddenly Tara realized how useful it  would actually be if Kylo and her made it into the Council, the locked away Spellbooks would be open to them!

Kylo came back, putting the prepaired Teabag in his Cup, this time waiting for it to cool down a little. Even though he didn´t mind the heat.

He started to watch Tara, while she had her Head leaned on her Hand and was browsing through the pages.

Slowly reaching out for her hand he was interrupted by a new voice.

“Tara, y...you here?” it was Ben, the Guy who had given the two of them a ride.

He couldn´t stand him, propablly because Ben was the total opposite of him. The nice, shy Guy who can´t confess the feelings for the Girl he obvisiouly had feelings for.

Ben was about to grab the Chair right beside Tara but Kylo was quicker and placed his Feet on the seat, giving the other Boy a furious look, which made Ben jump a little.

“Be nice...” Tara scolded Kylo.

It seemed like just now that Ben had realised that Tara wasn´t alone here and nodded awkwardly to the other two.

While Ben took a seat, leaving one Chair empty between him and Tara, he tried to started a conversation with her.

Kylo didn´t even try to listen to his nonsense and pulled Taras hand closer to his face before brushing his lips over her soft fingers looking directly in Bens Eyes.

Tara mostly tried to focuse on her books or looked up to Kylo while listening to Ben, starting to caress Kylos dark locks which he enjoyed and leaned in her touch.

“S.. so what are you g..guys reading?” Ben asked while trying to avoid to look at them both.

“We are just learning, well Norma doesn´t.” Tara laughed.

“Well you guys are the ones who want to be in the Council.” Norma counters and Ben looked surprised.

“Man can be witches too?” he asked curious and both of the girls nodded, while Kylo seemed to be in a state of bliss.

His Head was resting on the Desk while Tara was still stroking through his long hair.

“There are Warlocks and Wiccas, he is a Wicca. It is more of a religious thinking about witchcraft.” she explained to him and he seemed even more curious.

“So that means you can do the same things as Tara?” Ben suddenly turned his attention back to the Demon who seemed immidiatly annoyed but confirmed his question.

“C...Can you show it to me?”

Kylo abruptly sat up again and all of them looked surprised at him.

“Our Powers are not for your entertainment, you little Brat! Did you think that...” his voice grew louder but Tara suddenly stroked Kylo under his Chin and he calmed down and got quiet.

“You need to work on you temper, okay?” she whispered to him and he nodded grumbling.

“Sorry, i ...i didn´t mean to anger a...any of you.”Ben quickly explained.

But Norma shook her Head quickly.

“No you didn´t, we can understand that it must be exciting. Maybe another time.” Tara smiled at Norma who seemed to started a liking towards Ben.

“Ah... m..my Shift is about to start.“ he stood up but fiddled a little bit around.

“I would like to meet you again...” he added and Tara looked over to Norma, nodding slightly in Bens direction before Norma gave him her Phone Number.

After Ben left, Norma suddenly blushed and hid behind her Comic while Tara smiled at her.

“Drink your Tea, we should head back soon.” she explained to Kylo who seemed dissapointed that the petting tim was over but nodded and pulled his Mug closer to him.

“Do you need any help packing?” Tara asked while Norma was leaning over a big Bag, putting clothes neadly inside it.

“No i´m good. Thanks though...” the redhaired girl mumbled and Tara petted her on the back before she put the Teapot, next to Kylo on the Nightstand.

“Here, a special Mix for you.” Tara gave Kylo a Mug and a freshly made Teabag, which he excitedly took.

At least she seemed to have found something that would keep him at bay.

She sat on the other end of the Bed and looked at him while he poored his Tea.

“Okay... i really tried... but i can´t handle this anymore...” she pulled her bag closer and pulled something out, before she leaned to Kylo brushing his bangs out of his face, before pinning them down neatly with a few hairclips.

“Yeah, thats better.”

With a confused look he tried to look up until he snickered.

“That was bothering you? You could have just said that you wanted to stare at my handsome face...” he growled seductively but she ignored him.

“Don´t get ahead of yourself.” she warned with a smile while sorting out the newly buyed clothes, so she could wash them.

The only thing she could do right now was shaking her head at all the stuff he had gotten.

“So here is your bits and bobs...” she put everything on his lap. “.. and i will do our laundry.”

“Can we like marry already?” he shouted after her but  she just started laughing.

“In your dreams, Ky!”

When she came back, she heard the water running in the Bathroom and saw that she and Kylo were alone for the time beeing.

She quickly climbed onto the bed, over his legs and sat down beside him.

“Okay listen....”  grabbing his mug and the book he was reading she placed both of it on the night stand on his side, while he looked desperate to his tea.

Grabbing his face, she turned it back to her.

“Hey pay attention, this is important for us.” “Then hurry, i´m getting bored already...” he huffed and slowly laid his hands around her waist.

“Well the suggesting from Cordelia... you know the whole Council-Thing?” “Mhmm?” he hummed and nestled his head in her hair.

“If we get into it, we have acces to the Spellbooks Cordelia locked away, because they are to powerful. We could get lucky and find a .... What are you doing?!” she quickly pushed him away and smacked a hand on her ear. He just had bit in her Earlobe.

Her whole face turned red and Kylo started to snickered with a low voice.

“I told you... i´m getting bored easily...” he started to growl seductively, pressing her on the bed before she could run.

“K...Kylo st..stop! Whats gotten into you all of a sudden?!” Tara started to stutter, pressing her Hands against his Chest to keep him at bay.

“Oh don´t look so scared, sweety. I make sure you will have your fun too.” he slowly pulled his shirt of in front of her.

600cc sports bike good for a beginner? gsxr600 or zx6r?

ive never ridin a motorrcycle before and im looking at getting a gsx-r600 or zx6r. Im taking the safety course which is 10 hours of riding and 5 of classes which i realize isnt a lot. I drive stick shift cars so i get the point of shifting the bike. Ive ridin a dirtbike once and quads once but i seem to be a natural on anything with a motor so im not nervous at all about getting a racing bike starting. A lot of people say a 600 is to big for a first bike but i know people that have them and say they arent that bad as long as you dont drive it like an asshole. I plan on really taking it veryyyyy easy the first summer out and not pushing anything untill i feel extremly comfortable with it. My question is should i get this for a first bike? Im not getting a 250 dont even bother with that. Ive seen the 650's which are more begginer friendly but i just feel ill outgrow that within the first year and ill lose my money by selling it and buying a 600 instead of getting the 600 in the first place
