forever in love with the idea of simon not revealing his face to you because it makes him scared. not because he thinks he is ugly — heck, he is quite confident in his looks. but because showing his face to you would mean being vulnerable, a commitment that makes him shiver internally.
taking his mask off in front of los vaqueros wasn’t a big deal, he was committed to this fight from the beginning. if price trusted these guys, then so did he.
but you. you were different. you were no soldier, just a civilian who had managed to somehow break all the walls he had built over the years. taking his mask off in front of you meant a commitment he had never taken with anyone else. he’d be raw, purely naked in front of you — all the scars and trauma on display. showing you the real simon.
love. that’s what scared him. a feeling he doesn’t believe he had actually ever felt before meeting you. so one night, in a brief moment of bravery, he finally lifted his balaclava up fully and showed you his face.
“you sure you want this damaged dog?” he chuckled bitterly, his voice dying down once he felt the warmth of your hands cupping his face, thumbs tracing the scars that adorned his face. beautifully flawed.
“everytime.” you replied.
simon was quick to kiss you after that, lips pressing against yours as he kissed you with intensifying love, as if wanting to swallow you whole.
commitment — he’ll do it for you.

Running around my room screaming about all the jewelry Riz has in his new art. THREE bracelets, AT LEAST FIVE rings, CHUNKY belt, GLASSES, glasses ACCESSORIES. Goblincore fashion has never looked so good

Give me more lesbians who date men too, who aren't MISERABLE and forcing themselves to do so because of compulsory heterosexuality. Give me more lesbians who ARE men: cis, trans, somewhere in between, both, neither.
Give me gay men who also date women happily, who are women themselves to whatever extent. Give me queerplatonic relationships between a gay guy and a lesbian. Give me a lesbian and a gay guy who are friends with benefits. Give me multigender turigirls and lesboys.
Give me an individual who is polyamorous and aroace, more gaybians, more nondysphoric trans people, more she/her guys and he/him women, more it/its and nounself users, more queer teens who go by Arson.
I could go on and on, but to sum things up: give me the sides of the queer experience that are hidden even by other queer people. Show me the box breaking, the line crossing, the beautiful complexities that arise from being queer. Give me the 'cringy' identities. Give me the historical identities that people are trying to erase. Preserve what they're trying to snuff out.

Dressing up as a different person for Halloween sounds like something that would be a big hit in the land of change!
(I love the visual of Bonnie, Siffrin, Mirabelle, Isabeau, and Odile linking arms and singing We’re Off To See The Wizard)
halloween in vaugarde... i love the idea that halloween would be just another holiday in the long list of change holidays thats all about wearing masks and facades.
