(Adventures in the DC Universe #8): Great. Booster Gold and Blue Beetle are Laurel and Hardy. I don't know which is which, but i'd believe it if you told me there were parallels. Those old comedy sketches with Laurel and Hardy were great, and it's only due to my public library i understand this reference. So that's fun.

Some people forget that Madison is rotten on the inside. Yeah, she can love, and yeah, her edges smooth out when she's around her loved ones, but to the rest of the population, she's a monster through and through. Madison is cruel and exasperating, and fucking mean, and she doesn't care because she is comfortable with her cruelty. She's a vampire that feeds not only on blood but on emotions and sanity, and if she's in the mood, she'll blow your entire life apart just to see how you'll react to having everything crash down around you.

Scene 1:

*Happens right after Crystal's got crushed by a giant hydraulic press*

(At their apartment room)

Crystal:*Sitting on the window frame*Guess what?I'm alive.

Zoe:*Drops her cup of coffee* I must be drunk right now that I saw Crystal alive.

Sarah:*Standing beside Zoe* I must be hallucinating right now that I saw Crystal is alive.

Crystal:*Looking at them with unamused look* Rude. I walked all the way here just to receive these kind of greeting?Wow.

Sarah&Zoe:You literally died in front of us. What did you expect us to say?

Crystal:That is no excuse for you to greet me that badly.

Scene 2:

Crystal:*Walks out a portal* And that how we time travel.

Zoe:*Come out after Crystal* You do realize that we just broke the fourth wall rule,right?

Crystal:I realized everything about that and I regret nothing at all.

Zoe:You're insane.

Crystal:Since when I said I'm sane?

Scene 3:

Zoe:Let me get this right.Your parents abandoned you when back when you were little?

Crystal:Correct.

Sarah:And you were supposed to die in a house fire since you got trapped inside of it.But somehow you managed to stay alive.

Crystal:Correct.

Zoe:Girl.You have some serious problems going on.

Crystal:Yeah I know.I don't mind it.

Sarah:I think you need a therapist.

Crystal:Nah,the therapist will be the one who needs a therapist after I did.

Scene 4:

Marshy:We're here.Welcome to RavenBrook! Have fun exploring.

Zoe:This place look kinda...normal?

Sarah:Hm.I could say the same.

Crystal:Except for that one.*Point at Mr.Peterson house* That house is not normal.

Zoe:Yeah.That is totally not normal.But other than that,I think everything else is normal.

Crystal:Except for that missing child posters.And those grave behind that house.And that kids that getting chased by his neighbor (Nicky).And-

Tony Stark was more cold war centric than Bruce Wayne initially, but Tony Stark is a better guy than Bruce Wayne to me. And you know why? Tony Stark is someone I can actually really relate to or at least feel sympathy for. He closes himself off from people because of his heart problem. He's a man constantly on the verge of death, and he's afraid to let other people in. That's horribly sad, but it's also interesting and sympathetic.

Bruce Wayne meanwhile.... What's he got? Oh, his parents died. Sure, that's tragic. But besides that, the man has a very normal life (besides his vigilante activities). I find next to nothing relatable about him most of the time. To me, he's just a giant dull canvas. There's possibly potential there, but he's so boring I can't bring myself to even care about him. At least Superman is fun and cool and not so boring he makes me tune him out. Marvel doesn't have many characters like that, honestly. Stan Lee's writing style back in the 60s was too bombastic for me to really forget any of his main characters. Stan lee was a master of that. DC apparently has more struggles in that column.

.......I fucked up so bad.

I've been teaching Belphie not to jump on Pangur, cause she's old and arthritic and doesn't like it. and as part of my "training", I've been giving him a treat every times he stops his evil actions and trots over to me.

I thought I was training him to come when called. in actuality, I've been training him to bite Pangur. so now he'll jump on her, chew her ear, and then make bird-of-prey eye contact with me from across the room. and the worst thing is I'VE ALSO BEEN GIVING PANGUR A TREAT EACH TIME (so she doesn't feel left out). which means that she'll whimper pathetically from Belphie biting her, and then also make intense eye contact with me, because she's been conditioned to expect treats afterward.

I have accidentally made the most fucked up dynamic possible with both of these cats.
