Peter looked up when he saw a streak of purple, his eyes widening when he saw you flying up the statue, hovering in the air in front of Dr. Strange. He tilted his head to the side, slightly straining to hear what you were saying as he watched you.
“Stark.”
“I’m here to help. What can I do?”
“Help me close it.”
Peter made a face, shaking his head.
“Close it?”
He watched as you held your hands out in front of you, watching as your powers left your hands, moving towards the broken patches in the sky. The more patches that opened the stronger your powers grew, glowing brighter. He turned when he heard a crash, his eyes widening as he ran towards the other Peters.
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
“Stark, this isn’t working.”
You huffed, shaking your head as you fought against your powers, pushing them to its limit.
“You’ve said that to me before, and we managed.”
“Stark-”
You shot him a glare, practically growling out the words.
“We’ll make it work.”
“Mel!”
You turned, seeing Peter land at the top of the broken statue.
“Peter?”
“What’s happening?”
Strange shook his head, looking over at Peter.
“They’re starting to come through and we can’t stop them.”
Peter looked around at the sky, shaking his head.
“There’s got to be something we can do. Can’t you just cast a spell again?”
“Peter-”
“Like the original spell. Before I screwed it all up.”
Strange shook his head, looking over at Peter.
“We’re too late for that. They’re here. They’re here because of you.”
“What if everyone forgot who I was?”
You gasped, your eyes wide as you looked over at Peter.
“What?”
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell. But this time, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“No.”
“But it would work, right?”
Strange nodded, glancing at you.
“Yeah, it would work.”
He shook his head, looking down at Peter.
“But you have to understand, that would mean everyone who knows and loves you-”
Strange glanced at you, shaking his head as he looked back down at Peter.
“We’d- we’d have no memory of you. It’ll be as though you never existed.”
Peter took a deep breath, nodding.
“I know. Do it.”
You shook your head, clenching your jaw as you glared at Strange.
“Don’t you dare.”
You looked back over at Peter, shaking your head.
“We are not doing that. Do you hear me?”
“Mel, it’s the only way.”
“No it isn't. There’s always a way. Always.”
“Not this time.”
“No!”
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
Peter looked up when he heard you yell, watching as a wave of energy left you, the force of it pushing him and Peter 2 back. Peter 2 groaned as he looked up, shaking his head.
“What is she doing?”
“I don’t know.”
“She’s something.”
Peter grinned slightly, nodding.
“Yeah, she is.”
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
“Mel, stop! YN!”
“No! I’m not going to let you do this!”
“You don’t have a choice! Please, just stop!”
“That’s where you’re wrong. I do have a choice.”
You pushed your powers harder, shaking your head.
“And I’m choosing not to lose anyone else I care about.”
“You’ll kill yourself! Please, Mel, let me do this.”
You clenched your jaw, taking a deep breath as your powers grew brighter,
“No.”
You lifted yourself higher up into the air, closing your eyes.
“Not this time.”
The burning sensation started to grow as you felt something wet above your lip, but you ignored it, pushing your powers to the limit.
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
“YN!”
Peter’s eyes widened when you started to tilt to the side, your powers flickering as they grew dimm. He went to take a step forward when he remembered he was holding Peter 2 up, causing him to clench his jaw as he watched you. Your powers went out with a loud thundering sound, almost matching the beat of his heart when he saw you start to fall, shaking his head, mumbling.
“No, no, no. Not again.”
He stopped breathing as Peter 1 jumped, falling after you. The distance between you was too great, and he felt as though his heart was going to beat out of his chest when a golden light circled around you, stopping your fall long enough for Peter 1 to catch you, wrapping himself around you as he threw a web out, swinging towards the remains of the statue before he landed, rolling to a stop in front of them. Peter sat up, gasping as he turned you onto your back, pushing your hair out of your face.
“Mel? YN, please”
You groaned, causing Peter to release the breath he didn’t realize he was holding.
“Hey, hey.”
You blinked, looking up at Peter.
“Pete?”
He nodded, gasping a harsh laugh.
“Yeah, it’s me.”
He helped you stand, keeping his hands on your arms as you looked around, shaking your head.
“What happened?”
He huffed slightly, shaking his head.
“You overdid it.”
He looked over at the other Peter’s, nodding slightly.
“I think this is it. I think you’re about to go home. But I uh- thank you. I just wanted- I wanna tell you that- I really don’t know how to say this, like-”
“Peter-”
“I want you to know that I- you know.”
“It’s what we do.”
“Yeah, it’s what we do.”
You shook your head, looking between the Peters, tilting your head to the side.
“Am I missing something here? I feel like I’m missing something here.”
Peter sighed, biting his lip before he looked over at you.
“Mel, Strange is going to do the spell. The original spell.”
You shook your head, pulling your arm free from Peter’s grasp.
“No. I won’t let him.”
Peter grabbed your arm when you turned, shaking his head.
“You already tried to stop it. It didn’t work. You couldn’t do it.”
“Then I’ll try again-”
“Mel please, we don’t have much time.”
You shook your head, huffing slightly.
“Peter please, let me try again.”
“It won’t work Mel. I’m sorry.”
“No. Peter-
Tears formed in your eyes as you stepped back from Peter, shaking your head.
“I’ll forget you.”
Peter took a deep breath, nodding.
“Yes.”
“I- I can’t.”
You shook your head, looking up at him.
“Remember what I said when we first met?”
Peter slightly made a face, nodding.
“Yeah? What does tha-”
“I told you that there was no point in us being friends because I was better off alone. Everyone I loved had left me. So there was no point in even getting to know you.”
He smiled softly, shaking his head.
“But you did.”
“I told you it was inevitable. And you told me that you would gladly claim the title of being the first person to prove YN Stark wrong.”
You huffed a laugh, shaking your head.
“Peter, please, prove me wrong. I don’t- I don’t wanna be right. Just this once, let me be wrong.”
Tears were in Peter’s eyes as he shook his head, watching as you wrapped your arms around yourself, sniffling.
“I can’t lose anyone else. I can’t. Please. I don’t want to be right.”
Tears welling in your eyes as you turned, looking over at Peter 3.
“Not about this. Please.”
“I’m sorry Mel. But this is the only way.”
You shook your head, turning back towards Peter.
“I- I’ll be alone again.”
Peter shook his head, stepping towards you.
“No, no you won’t. You’ll have MJ and Ned-”
You smiled sadly, shaking your head.
“No, I won’t.”
“You would-”
You sighed, tears streaming down as you shook your head.
“I met them because of you. Because dad brought you to the compound and we hung out and you managed to talk him into letting me go to school for the first time where you introduced me to your friends. Without you, I never would’ve met them.”
You looked over at him, shooting him a small grin, slightly laughing.
“You changed my life. You, with your star wars addiction and science puns. You entered my life and changed everything. Now, now you’re leaving it and changing it again. I- I lost my dad, the woman who was my best friend, the avengers- my family, and now you’re telling me I have to lose my family again? I can’t. So please, just this once, let me be wrong. I don’t want to be right. Not about this.”
Peter surged forward, wrapping his arms around you. You leaned down, returning the hug with just as much force.
“You have to find me Peter. Okay? You have to find me and make me remember. Promise me.”
Peter nodded, leaning back so he could look at you.
“I promise.”
“You’ll have your work cut out for you. Whatever stories you heard about dad before you met him, I- I’ll be worse.”
Peter nodded slightly, grinning.
“I managed to talk you into being my friend, how hard can it be a second time?”
You laughed, nodding.
“Go. Go find MJ and Ned. Tell- tell them I love them.”
He nodded, smiling.
“I will.”
You watched as Peter walked to the other Peters, giving them a hug.
“Thank you. Thank you. I guess I’ll see you.”
“Keep safe.”
“Bye.”
Peter swung away, both Peter’s waving at him.
“You’re in so much pain, huh?”
“I am.”
Peter 3 nodded, slightly smiling.
“Yeah.”
You wiped your face as you turned towards them, slightly making a face.
“You’re hurt?”
Peter 3 nodded, jerking his head towards Peter 2.
“He got stabbed.”
Your eyes widened as you stopped in front of them, looking him over, trying to find where he was stabbed.
“But I’m fine. Really-”
You shot him a look, shaking your head.
“Sure.”
You glanced at Peter 3, tilting your head to the side.
“Where?”
“Back.”
You nodded, walking behind them, moving your hand along his back, stopping at the wound, hovering your hand over it.
“Whatcha doing?”
You glanced up at Peter 3 as your hand lit purple, grinning slightly.
“Healing him.”
He nodded, watching you.
“Sounds good.”
You grinned slightly, shaking your head as you dropped your hand, walking in front of them, looking over at Peter 2.
“Better?”
He smiled, nodding.
“Much. Thank you.”
You shook your head as you stepped towards him, wrapping your arms around him.
“Thank you for saving Peter.”
He returned the hug, nodding before you stepped back, looking up at him.
“He’s my brother.”
He made a face, tilting his head to the side.
“What?”
“You asked me at the school what Peter is to me. He’s my brother.”
You turned, looking up at Strange before you turned back towards the Peter’s.
“Your eyes. They’re glowing again.”
Peter 3 shook his head, shooting you a look.
“What are you doing?”
You looked over at him, nodding.
“Helping.”
“You almost died helping.”
You shook your head, sighing softly.
“I’m not helping Strange.”
“Then wh-”
You smiled softly, nodding towards the direction Peter had swung off in.
“Peter. I’m giving him more time.”
He nodded as he walked towards you, grabbing your hand.
“Good.”
You made a face as he pulled you away from Peter 2, catching the smile on his face.
“Peter, what are you doing?”
He stopped, moving to stand in front of you, cupping your face in his hands.
“Saying goodbye.”
You shook your head, tears stinging at your eyes again, causing you to huff.
“No. Saying goodbye means it’s the end. And it can’t be the end because we haven’t even had our beginning.”
He smiled, nodding as he wiped the tears that had fallen, leaning down.
“I know.”
He closed the distance between you, pressing his lips to yours. This time, you reacted, placing your hands on his sides, slowly siding them up his chest, resting one hand over his heart as you slid your other hand behind his neck, pulling him down closer to you. You leaned back slightly, looking up at him.
“I promise you, I will find you so we can have our beginning.”
He nodded, leaning down, kissing you softly.
“I believe you.”
You nodded, tears streaming down your face as he started to glow. You gasped when he disappeared, shaking your head as you reached up, wiping your cheeks. You made a face as you looked down at your fingers, seeing the tips of your fingers wet.
“What?”
You turned when you heard something fall into the water, your eyes widening. The Statue of Liberty was destroyed, and when you looked down, your left hand was glowing, causing you to gasp.
“Oh god, what have I done?”

We were in one of the lab rooms, trying to come up with a plan.
“YN needs to get cleaned up. She needs medical attention.”
“Put me down.”
Peter looked down at you, making a face, causing you to nod.
“Put me down.”
He sighed softly, helping you so you were standing, keeping one arm wrapped around you while you placed one of your arms over his shoulders.
“All I need is the nurse's office.”
“Mel, no.”
“Peter, yes. I just need stitches and water. Though, alcohol would be prefered-”
Peter shot you a look, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Mel.”
You grinned, shaking your head.
“Kidding, kidding. But seriously, I’m fine, and I’ll be even better after a trip to the nurse's office. Peter can take me.”
You turned, looking up at Peter.
“Right?”
He nodded, turning towards the others.
“Yeah, I can take her.”
“Mel I don’t-”
“You know I went to school here, right? I know where the nurses office is and how to get there. I’ll be fine.”
“But-”
You shook your head, lifting your hand, cutting him off.
“Nope. I’m older than you and what I say goes. You guys stay here, get started on the cures and then we’ll be back and help.”
“Technically, he’s the oldest.”
Peter pointed back towards the older Peter, causing you to huff as you shot the older Peter a look.
“Well?”
He looked between you and Peter, nodding slightly.
“I think your friend is right Peter. We can get started while she gets cleaned up.”
You nodded, shooting Peter a slight smile.
“See?”
You turned towards Peter, nodding.
“Come on.”
He nodded, keeping you close to him as you walked out of the room, the door closing behind you both.
“Alright, sooo, which way?”
“Left.”
He nodded, bending slightly, picking you back up, causing you to gasp.
“Hey!”
He shook his head, glancing down at you.
“You’re injured. Plus, it’ll be quicker.”
You huffed, mumbling to yourself as he walked down the hall. He glanced down at you as he turned down the hall you'd pointed too, looking around.
“So, you went to school here?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s cool.”
“Mhmm. I used to go here with Peter.”
You slightly made a face, tilting your head to the side.
“Well, my Peter and the others.”
You gasped when Peter’s hold on you loosened, grabbing onto his suit as Peter scrambled to right himself, looking down at you.
“Sorry. You just uh- surprised me, s’all.”
“Turn here.”
He turned, glancing down at you.
“So uh, how’d that work? I thought he was in school now. You don’t look-”
His eyes widened as he shook his head, mumbling.
“Nope, nope. Not going there. Nope.”
He looked down at you, shooting you a puppy dog look that reminded you of your Peter’s, sighing softly.
“How?”
“It’s a long story, really long. Simply put, half the universe was snapped away, including Peter and MJ. They were gone for five years.”
“That uh- that sucks.”
“Yeah. It's through the office.”
You reached out when Peter stopped in front of the office door, pushing it open.
“Third room on the left.”
He nodded, walking through the office and down the hall, stopping in front of the door, waiting patiently while you opened it. The light cut on as he stepped in, moving to set you down on the table.
“First aid kit?”
“Top cabinet.”
He nodded, turning and walking towards the cabinet.
“So, where are you hurting?”
You looked over at him, slightly tilting your head to the side.
“Everywhere.”
His eyes widened slightly as he nodded, grabbing the chair and walking towards you.
“Painful.”
“I- my arm and side hurt the most. Back too, if that helps.”
He nodded, sitting the kit down beside you.
“It does.”
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
“So, how’d this happen?”
Peter was working on getting the glass out of your arm, his tongue sticking out slightly as he concentrated.
“Fell onto a glass table.”
“Fell or pushed?”
“Hmm, both?”
He laughed slightly, shaking his head.
“So, how’d it happen? For real.”
“Connors. He attacked me while I was trying to find Peter. We went at it for a couple of floors, well, he went at it, I mainly just ran and got slammed around.”
“I’m sorry.”
You shook your head, wincing when he dabbed the rubbing alcohol over your arm.
“It’s not your fault.”
He nodded slightly, grabbing the gauze.
“It kinda is. Connors, he’s uh, from my universe. Him and Max.”
“Oh. Well, you’ve got your hands full then.”
He laughed, nodding.
“Yeah, guess so.”
He cleaned up after wrapping your arm, looking down at you.
“You said your side too, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay, let’s see it then.”
You reached for the hem of your shirt, wincing, causing Peter to tilt his head to the side.
“I can- it’ll probably be easier to just take it off, right?”
You nodded, watching as Peter nodded slowly.
“Okay, well, we can just take it off, yeah?”
“Okay.”
Peter tilted his head to the side, looking down at you.
“Do you need help?”
You nodded, sighing softly.
“Yeah.”
He nodded, walking towards you, slowly reaching for the hem of your shit. He was careful as he helped you take it off, sitting it down at the end of the table.
“Wow.”
You shot him a look, huffing.
“What?”
He shook his head, meeting your eyes.
“No, nothing, just you’ve got a lot of bruises, s’all.”
“Well, that’s what happens when you get thrown around like a ragdoll.”
“Good point.”
You laughed slightly as you laid down, tapping a mindless pattern on your stomach, your right arm above your head as Peter started to clean around the cut on your side. You jerked at the sting, Peter glancing at you.
“Sorry, sorry. I know it hurts.”
You tried not to react when he started to stitch your side, but a particular harsh tug caused you to jerk, wincing.
“Sorry. I forgot you don’t have my healing.”
“Mhmm, technically I do. Much better than yours, I bet.”
“Really?”
You nodded, wincing when he pulled a little too hard, shooting him a glare, causing him to wince slightly.
“Sorry. Keep talking.”
“Yeah, you know, I haven’t been in pain like this for sometime.”
“Yeah. When I was a kid, I was kidnapped and they experimented on me. Whatever they were trying to do worked, in the end I guess. I got powers and I’m practically immune to sickness and I heal, like insanely fast.”
“That’s cool. So why don’t your powers work now?”
“Dr. assface.”
He laughed, tying off the end of the stitches.
“Who’s he?”
“The reason all of this is happening.”
“And why is he an assface?”
You clenched your jaw, looking up at the ceiling.
“He’s the reason my dad’s dead.”
Peter looked over at you, his eyes side.
“I’m sorry.”
You shrugged as Peter helped you so you were sitting, grabbing the gauze.
“I- I can’t be mad at my dad, not really.”
“How come?”
You smiled softly, shaking your head as he started to wrap the gauze around your middle.
“He saved the universe. His sacrifice ensured that everyone we brought back, lived.”
“Brought back?”
You nodded as he tapped the gauze, turning and cleaning up.
“Yeah. Big purple alien wanted to make everything ‘equal’ and snapped half of existence away. And he did, till we managed to bring everyone back. But his past self managed to come to the present and planned on snapping again, except he was going to make it so no one would remember what happened. But my dad, he stopped him before he could do that.”
“That’s what you meant earlier, when you said Peter and MJ were snapped but you weren’t.”
“Yeah.”
He nodded, grabbing your shirt, helping you put it back on.
“Thanks.”
He nodded, sitting back in the chair, reaching towards you. You jumped, grabbing his hand, causing his eyes to widen as you winced.
“Sorry. Force of habit.”
He nodded as you let his hand go, glancing down at your hand.
“You may not be at full strength, but you’re still pretty strong.”
You shot him a small grin as he moved your hair out of your face, eyeing the cut along your head.
“Let’s clean that up.”
You nodded, watching as he grabbed the rubbing alcohol, dabbing it on a cotton ball.
“So you’re dad brought everyone back-”
“No, that was a friend, Bruce. My dad ensured everyone’s safety, a chance for a future.”
Peter nodded, humming softly as he started to clean the cut.
“Right. So, what about you? Were you-”
“I grew up. Without my friends.”
“That sucks.”
“Yeah.”
You watched as he grabbed some gauze, pressing it to your forehead, catching the fresh blood.
“Now it’s my turn to ask you a question.”
He smirked, nodding.
“Sure.”
“Why are you doing this? Helping me?”
His eyes fell serious as he lifted the gauze, checking the blood.
“Your Peter, he’s lost enough people important to him. He can’t lose you too.”
You tilted your head to the side, grinning.
“Who said I’m important?”
He met your eyes, nodding.
“Your friends were worried about you, before we even came here. And then the way they act around you, their eyes lit up when they saw you come around the corner. And the way you’re protective over them. I mean, you were hardly standing but you were still willing to fight me and Peter to keep them safe.”
“They’re just kids.”
“So are you.”
You shot him a look, huffing.
“I’m twenty two. I’m not a kid.”
He nodded, grinning.
“Right, because you weren’t snapped.”
“Exactly.”
He reached over, grabbing a bandaid, placing it over the cut, causing you to grin.
“Thanks.”
He nodded looking your face over.
“No problem.”
He started to put everything up, making sure everything was in order.
“Can I ask another question?”
You nodded, glancing over at him.
“What’s on your hand?”
You looked down at the gauntlet, smiling softly.
“It’s a gauntlet. My dad made it. It’s got a small concentration of my powers.”
“Really? That’s so cool”
You nodded, running your finger over the metal grooves.
“Yeah. He made it for me years ago. I’ve never had a reason to use it before.”
“But you have a reason to use it now.”
You nodded, glancing at him.
“I think I’m going to need it before this is all over.”
⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅
Peter was looking for some pain killers for you, glancing at you over his shoulder.
“Can I ask you one more question? Last one, I swear.”
You laughed softly as you looked over at him, nodding.
“Sure.”
“Why does Peter call you Mel?”
You smiled, softly shaking your head.
“My dad. It means bee. My dad used to call me honey, before I was kidnapped. And after I was kidnapped, I was angry, resentful. My dad decided to call me bee, instead. But living in the eye of the public, my dad started to call me Mel. and it just so happens to mean both honey and bee. So those closest to me call me Mel.”
He shot you a smile, nodding as he handed you the pills.
“Well, I think it fits you perfectly.”
You smiled softly, glancing at him as you downed the pills and water.
“Thank you.”
He helped you off the table, the both of you walking back to the labs. Peter moved in front of you, reaching for the door when you stopped him.
“You can call me Mel, if you want.”
You shrugged, casting a glance at the floor, wringing your fingers together.
“Or YN, it doesn’t matter.”
Peter shot you a smile as he opened the door, stepping to the side so you could walk in.
“Mel!”
You looked up, watching as Peter walked towards you, wrapping his arms around you.
“Are you okay? You guys were gone for a while and I was starting to get worried-”
You smiled, slightly shaking your head.
“I’m okay, promise. Getting stitches just takes some time. Now, what’s the plan?”
Peter grabbed your hand, leading you to the table he was working at, walking around it once you’d sat down, motioning towards the devices.
“I’m working on the devices for Dillon and Marko, Peter’s got his, and we left Connors for Peter.”
You nodded, noticing the way he’d tensed.
“It’s okay, you know.”
He glanced at you, humming.
“To want him dead.”
“Mel-”
“After the blip- after we helped those who returned and got everything semi-normal again, I was done. I had nothing else to do. But I was so angry. Because all I could do after was relive it. The first fight, when we were in space, Strange had said something to my dad before he handed over the time stone. And then at the final battle, right before dad snapped, and Strange incapitated me, Strange had said it again.”
“Said what?”
“There was only one way. I didn’t understand it at the time and then dad snapped. If I wasn’t helping Strange, I could’ve helped my dad.”
Peter shook his head, looking over at you.
“YN, you know there was no way you could’ve helped.”
You huffed, shaking your head as you shot him a deadpanned look.
“I could’ve. We know nothing about my powers except that I’m powerful. When I realized what was happening, I tried to get to him. But Strange, he held me back. Did the same thing he did then, today.”
He made a face, tilting his head to the side.
“But you had-”
You nodded, sighing. Strange may have blocked your powers, but he couldn’t keep your love for your father under control. Your powers came back full force after your dad took his last breath, a force of energy leaving you as you stayed curled next to him, the force knocking everyone surrounding you back.
“When he finally let me go, and he opened the portal so I could get to dad, and I saw him, my emotions basically went haywire. But I had to keep it together. But then when he- when he died, my emotions overpowered whatever block Strange had done. I was so upset. But I had to suck it up because Pepper and Morgan needed me, and the Avengers needed someone to look to. So I went to the Sanctum Sanctorum.”
“Where Dr. Strange lives?”
You nodded, looking down at the desk, tracing a scratch on the desk with your finger.
“I destroyed the Sanctum. I stood in the middle of it, standing over Strange. I was going to kill him. I almost did.”
“But you didn’t.”
You shook your head, sighing softly.
“No, I didn’t.”
“Why?”
“Wong. He portaled right into the middle of it.”
“And he stopped you?”
You chuckled, shaking your head.
“No. He actually told me to do it.”
“What?!”
Everyone jumped, shooting looks at you and Peter, causing him to wince.
“Sorry, sorry.”
Peter looked back at you, shaking his head.
“He said what?”
You grinned, nodding.
“He told me to do it. Even offered to get rid of the body for me. He said he knew some places that nobody visited or were unable to have visitors. I thought it was a trick and that when I went to kill Strange he’d stop me.”
“Was it? A trick?”
“No. He didn’t make any attempt to stop me.”
“So then why is Strange still alive?”
You smiled softly, shaking your head.
“My dad. I heard his voice. He told me he was proud of me and he loved me. I don’t know if it was him or if Wong had interfered. But I let Strange go. I left him there and rebuilt the Sanctum as I left. I hadn’t been back there since I went there to find you.”
Peter nodded, muttering a small ‘sorry’ as he glanced at you.
“Do you regret it? Letting him live.”
You grinned, tilting your head to the side.
“Right this second I do.”
Peter chuckled, shaking his head.
“YN.”
You took a deep breath, nodding.
“Sometimes. When I think about what I lost, Morgan and Pepper. I get angry. I think about what could happen if I did kill him.”
“And?”
“My feelings never change. My dad is still gone. And he’ll still be gone if I kill Strange. Killing Strange won’t bring him back. Taking his life would change nothing.”
“I still want him dead.”
You smiled, nodding as you looked up at him.
“And that’s okay. I still want Strange dead more often than not.”
You reached out, placing your hand over Peter’s causing him to stop what he was working on, looking over at you.
“If you want him dead, I’ll help you.”
He smiled softly, nodding.
“I know you will.”
“Hey.”
You looked up, smiling at MJ as you stood.
“I’m just gonna go.”
Peter laughed, shaking his head as MJ sat next to him.
Smooth.”
You grinned, nodding as you walked away.
“I know.”

Peter looked over at the younger Peter and you, furrowing his brow when he saw the look on your face when MJ walked towards you both, you standing and walking away.
“You have someone?”
Peter jumped slightly, looking over at the older Peter, shaking his head.
“No. I got no time for Peter Parker stuff, you know?”
He looked down at the cure he was working on, glancing at the older Peter.
“Do you?”
“It’s a little complicated. I understand.”
“I guess it’s just not in the cards for guys like us.”
“Well, I wouldn’t give up. Took a while, but we made it work.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. Me and MJ.”
The older Peter glanced at the younger Peter and MJ, slightly making a face.
“My MJ.”
“Hey.”
They both jumped, causing you to grin as they looked over at you, laughing softly.
“Need any help?”
They shared a look, shrugging.
“Do you know-”
“My dad was one of the smartest people in the world. I helped him all the time. I even have my own lab.”
“Really? That’s so cool.”
“Don’t listen to her.”
You gasped, turning towards Peter, your eyes wide.
“Peter!”
“She has more than one lab and she’s considered to be the smartest person in the world.”
You laughed, shaking your head.
“Flattery’ll get you everywhere Pete.”
He laughed, shooting you a grin as you turned back towards the two Peter’s.
“Well?”
“If you’re offering, we’ll take it.”
You nodded, grinning.
“Good.”
