Dragon Ball GT Shadow Dragon arc would've been so much cooler if each fighter got a chance to fight their own dragon. Like the fighters all split into groups of 2-3 and go off to find and fight a Shadow Dragon and retrieve the dragon balls. Especially if they fight a dragon that is tied to them in some way.
Goku goes with Pan and they fight Rage Shenron, who's tied to the wish to revive Goku after his fight with Raditz.
Vegeta, along with Bulma who tags along cause its Bulma, fight Naturon Shenron who is tied to the wish of reviving all the people Majin Vegeta killed. It would've been a good character moment for Vegeta to reflect on his past and even Bulma to an extent since I believe she was the one who made the wish. This confrontation also would've been a better build up to Vegeta unlocking SSJ4, maybe Naturon captures Bulma and Vegeta transforms for the first time in order to save his wife.
Gohan and even Videl can join him (cause she deserves more chances to kick ass instead of being benched to the sidelines) and they fight Nuova Shenron who is the four star dragon which is an important heirloom in Gohan's family but also the wish Nuova is tied to is King Piccolo's wish for youth, tying into Gohan's friendship with Piccolo.
Uub could fight Eis Shenron because he's tied into the wish to have everyone forget about Majin Buu and his evil deeds. He just deserved more screen time after all that build up for his character.
Maybe Trunks and Goten fight Haze Shenron, tied to the wish to revive Bora, a call back to the very first series and parallel to the adventures Trunks' mom and Goten's dad were on together back in the early days of dragon ball.
And for fun, Oceanus Shenron targets Oolang because she's the underwear wish that he made and maybe it's Yamcha and Roshi who have to fight her. Maybe also Krillin and Android 18 get involved (I know Krillin is dead by that point but with some rewriting he could just be there to help out). Plus she's an ocean themed dragon, the fight can take place on Roshi's island that is literally surrounded by the ocean!!
And then by the end, everyone comes together to take on Omega Shenron, the finale dragon.

I’ve been imagining another AU, one that starts, unfortunately, with the tragedy of Stanford Pine’s twin brother, Stanley Pines. He hears about his brother’s demise from his mother. Most likely, Stanley died before Stanford arrives in Gravity Falls. That’s just the basic plot for the beginning.
So…I was reviewing Passengers, the one with Jennifer Lawerence and Chris Pratt? I became inspired when I saw the robotic bartender, played by Michael Sheen. And it had me thinking about DBH (aka: Detroit(:)Become Human), the game about AI sentience created by this guy called Kamski. And then I also just thought about Astro Boy and Ex-Machina, too.
You’ll most likely know about the Frankenstein AU for Gravity Falls, right? Kudos to the creators, that’s a lot of really impressive and interesting art.
Well, what if Stanford went about developing an android with the initial intent to revolutionize humanity while in Gravity Falls? During the daytime, he’ll focuses on research of the local ecosystem, while in his pass time he’ll be pouring research theories into blueprints for the robot. And when he gets Fiddleford to help him with his project, the robot is molded into Stanford’s likeness because why not? And, for selfish reasons Stanford will keep to himself, he starts referring to the robot as Stanley. Then, you know, Fiddleford will most likely just assume his partner is becoming narcissistic because he doesn’t know about Stanley yet and that Stanford lost his twin brother.
Is it almost morbidly contrived for Stanford to reshape the android to share the same likeness to his brother from the last time he saw him, which was during his wake?
Then, just when the android finally emerges and his processors are all switched on from an unknown power source, Stanley is awoken once more. He just doesn’t realize that yet.
For a shorter explanation for further plot, Stanford won’t be able to handle being in the same room as the android and Fiddleford will have to assume caretaker to the robot while running tests. Stanford will most likely be feeling guilt because he just brought a dead ringer of his brother back from memory. He’ll feel like he’s disrespected his brother’s memory and can’t handle it because he’ll sometimes forget that the android’s not Stanley. While talking with him, Stanford will unconsciously ask what the robot thinks, only to be met with confusion, then Stanford will look at the android for any signs of familiarity on his face. He forgets sometimes that the android doesn’t share any memories between him and Stan. That really bums Stanford out. The android notices but doesn’t know how to help.
Think of this as an alternate version for Wax Stan, except with robots.
Now, imagine if Bill wanted Stanford to build him a body at first when he finds out about his project, only to be rejected. I don’t know how to carry on more with that. I just became inspired by Avengers(:)Age of Ultron.

Hot take in DBH Markus has the 'boring' storyline (especially early game)
This is mostly coming from people saying Kara was boring I don't think any of them were boring but story progression wise... Markus fits that bill better.
Especially early game there's really no progression and there's not much the player actually can do the story is almost entirely fixed for most of Markus' early story (up to reaching Jericho)
Kara meanwhile? Her chapter 2 (not including the cinematic chapter... I don't really count it because it is PURELY cinematic) has several endings, you can kill Todd, ALICE can kill Todd, Todd can survive, Todd can kill them both locking you out of the entire rest of her story.
Meanwhile Markus... Can fight back or can deal with Leo's BS? And Carl can die.
All I'm saying is if you're replaying the game trying to see lots of different endings, Markus is going to be one of those stories that would get kind of old fast at the beginning because there is no variations until later on.

🛑 9S says no to Bankai 🛑
Tumblr media
9S, arms folded, tone calm but with edge: “Warning shots,” he added helpfully. “The next ones won’t be.”
He tilted his head slightly, eyes scanning the room like he was watching training dummies. “Pod, initiate new protocol. Anyone within the vicinity makes a physical gesture followed by words like ‘Bankai,’ ‘Hadō,’ or ‘Bakudō’—open fire. Same goes for dramatic chanting or flashy weapon draws. Got it?”
“Confirmed. New threat detection parameters set: trigger on incantation behavior,” Pod 153 replied.
2B, not even glancing up: “Apply the same to yours, Pod.”
“Acknowledged,” both Pods replied—in unison, like twin guillotines.
9S gave a slight smirk. “They all fight the same way. Blade up. Chant. Pause. Then power.”
He shrugged. “It’s like they want to die. Might as well be reading from a spellbook.”
The room froze. Shunsui’s hat tilted just a little lower. Rukia and Renji stiffened. Tōshirō’s pupils shrank. Byakuya blinked—just once. (In Byakuya terms, that was full-blown panic.)
A2, casually flipping her blade: “I don’t care what technique you’re using if I can stab you before you finish saying it.”
9S, watching Renji do his 18-line bankai monologue: "Why do they narrate their own powers out loud? Isn’t that... counterintuitive?"
2B, dryly: "It’s like they’re trying to lose."
A2, arms crossed: "Explain less. Kill more."
Pod 153, analytically: "Observation: Verbal exposition precedes most power activations. Estimated delay window: 3.7 seconds. Recommended response: preemptive strike."
9S, smirking: "So basically... we’re faster because we don’t stop to explain our loadout to the enemy like it’s a conference panel."
And Ichigo?

One of my favorite differences in the DBZ manga that makes Vegebul make More Sense To Me, is that because Vegeta never left Earth, he was living at Capsule Corp for over two years before Bulma got pregnant (assuming Trunks is like 3-6mos old when we see him as a baby), but she said she 'wouldn't live with that jerk' afterward, which implies (to me) that he'd been a chill enough housemate up until the pregnancy, which tracks with his generally private and professional behavior as a Lord in the Freeza Force (in the manga).
I like to think it became a compounding factor in learning that he was slated to be killed in a year, and led to him being uncharacteristically overzealous and performative (and so opposed to Trunks getting close to him) in the android saga as opposed to how strategic and cautious he was with serious threats in the Freeza saga.
I am also always thinking about how Something Happened between him losing to Cell and re-entering the time chamber in the manga, because he was back living at Capsule Corp and staying near Trunks and Bulma when the Cell Games were announced.
#Something was definitely Bulma not getting laid for over a year and Vegeta not getting laid for over 2 because of time chamber shenanigans#You can just taste the Good Shit in the conversation from that first night back 🤌 Anyway#Every day I think about how Freeza assumed Vegeta was always going to be his biggest threat -- not just for his power but for his cunning#Every day I think about how that can still be true and how after the Freeza arc Toei traded that cunning for boisterous arrogance#even though that was literally only happening in the android saga and not NEARLY as much as they wrote it#Vegeta being Quiet and Smart is ALSO a reason Vegebul makes a lot more sense if you've read the manga#He's probably the only one in that group who never needs her to translate science talk and the bar is low but boy can he can hop over it#Thinking about how he sat there and explained the science of the Great Ape transformation to Goku and WHY he could create a false moon#Thinking about how Vegeta knows what to do how to do it AND can explain to someone WHY it works#and knowing Bulma would hear a bad boy fighter talk Science and throw her underwear at him at terminal velocity#Every day I think about how Vegeta is constantly flirting with the trickster trope but you'd never know that from watching the anime#He's so sMART and Goku's so DUMB that's why they're great FOILS TOEI#Like Goku's not Stupid but he IS dumb he is a dumb puppy and we love him#I see a lot of Geets fans say they miss how he was in the Freeza arc but he's like that A LOT in Super (just on the good guy team)#His breakdown is over he knows who he is again he's confident he's whole he's fucking Out Here in Super PLEASE read the manga

People: Dragon Ball focuses too much on Goku. He’s so strong, so nobody else has to do anything.
Goku: Loses first 2 tournaments in og. Dies twice. Only kills one major villain in all of Dragon Ball Z, and it’s the villain that everyone wanted Gohan to kill.
Also are we just gonna ignore how the Namek/Frieza saga was mostly Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta just doin shit? They did so much in that entire arc

i’d love to see more of how misc shadow found out he was an android, or about how he even got reprogrammed by nine in the first place? how did the cast even fix that anyways?
also curious about how exactly he works/his mechanics–does he need to charge himself regularly? do his eyes glow in dark spaces since they’re screens? how many shadow androids even exist???
i’m normal about misc shadow btw 💀
My current idea for how Shadow found out he was an android was through Sonic Heroes! Rouge suspects that Shadow may be artificial throughout the duration of the game only for it to be confirmed by Neo Metal in the finale, and that messes Shadow up.
Not exactly sure how Nine got Shadow restrained long enough to actually reprogram him, but Nine uses the Paradox Prism for ample power to be able to do it, but it was a total rush job. Nine didn't know or account for Shadow's adaptive and self healing Black Arm's tech, which brought him back to his senses mid fight with Sonic. (Also Nine figured out Shadow was an android through Sonic)
Shadow is powered by Chaos Energy, and has a lot stored and it automatically regenerates over time. Shadow can be manually recharged (either via chaos drives or conventional electricity) but he doesn't need to if he doesn't overexert his reserved power.
I don't actually know the luminosity of his eyes! They probably have adaptive brightness so they are as vibrant as the surroundings most of the time, but in the dark they may glow brighter than they should because they can't dim that much. Idk tho teehee
I don't have plans to have more than our darling shadow right now, so currently no other shadow Androids exist
