noooo why did they change the fire scene???
In the manga, Sebastian teases Ciel, thinking he’ll need to rely on his powers to get Derrick to come out of the house, but Ciel insists he doesn’t need him.
He throws the lamp himself into the house, which impresses Sebastian.
HOWEVER, in the anime, they cut that exchange and Sebastian jumps up to help kick the lamp into the house.
I know this is a seemingly minor detail to change but it’s so significant to their relationship that I am very disappointed they changed it so much.
From the moment they met, Ciel was different from all of Sebastian’s previous contractors. For one, he didn’t want to just have Sebastian kill the people behind the manor attack, but is determined to find them himself.
In the Circus arc, despite being in the midst of a PTSD episode, Ciel shoots Kelvin himself.
Over and over we are shown how Ciel takes pride in doing things himself—ofc he relies on Sebastian, but the demon respects that Ciel doesn’t use him indiscriminately and lazily.
I also personally always saw this as some foreshadowing for the cricket tournament, but I guess that’s lost too. Because we know Ciel isn’t athletic, so I always felt it was significant that he was able to make that throw on his own. It felt symbolic.
I guess either everyone doubted Ciel’s ability to execute that move on his own, or they just thought Seb looks cool when he’s high in the air ninja style….

Sarada is fucking ugly.
Okay, maybe not Sarada herself, but her clothes certainly are.
Sarada’s clothing style looks ridiculously out of place and touch with Naruto/Boruto reality.
It is not just that Sarada is dressed like a hooker and her clothes are extremely unpractical and unsuitable for battlefield: she also is like a white crow compared to all male characters, the clothing style is just not the same.
Somebody put Sarada after time skip right next to her male teammates and Sarada looks like a low class teen only fans prostitute compared to them.
Ew,just ew.
