i think i was the first monkey to type it into a popular post (a reblog comment that blew up, and then there were other popular posts to dunk on twitter and it became a tentpole of our identity)... but it's a pretty obvious joke that i'm sure lots of people came up with independently, so i don't know how much credit i could really take.

but here's the weird thing... that "popular post" apparently disappeared??

i found a handful of reddit screenshots, but no sign of the post itself anywhere still on tumblr.

i went into my archive around that post id (late november 2020) in case the problem was a change in link url style or that op's username changed, but the post isn't there. i googled phrases from the post itself (both with site:tumblr and otherwise) and nothing.

i don't think i've ever seen a viral tumblr post disappear and take reblogs with it like that. does this happen all the time?

Chenford prompts/requests: I am happy to field them; I'm not always the best about writing something to order, but I'm always happy to get fic ideas, and I will happily give credit to the source!

As for 5x08/5x09: I have a bit of a thought spiral to offer. Please note, I do not follow spoilers or watch trailers, so this is an entirely uneducated thought spiral.

Nathan Fillion is an executive producer on this show, and he's been in TV a long time. For all I disliked the end of Castle, when it came to getting Castle and Beckett together, that was done fabulously well. Their arc towards each other was so slow, such a burn, and then it culminated with that incredible scene at the end of Always.

So: for me, the end of 5x8 was a pinnacle emotional moment for Tim and Lucy. That level of vulnerable honesty was amazing. Now I'm wondering what more is going to be thrown between them. Obviously I'm not writing the show, and I don't know what to expect. But after seeing them kiss, then be so affected by it that they very nearly went to bed together, I'm anticipating more of that physical heat. NF and the ABC people aren't dumb; they know exactly how much we all lost our minds watching Castle and Beckett make out up against that door.

Tension is built up and then spent; that's how it works. We got a buildup that was spent in the sweet moment when Tim finally asked her out. So if they want another moment to spend tension--if they want to give us Tim/Lucy's own 'up against the door' moment--presumably they'll need to build tension up for it again.

But hey, what do I know? Maybe they'll just head into 5x10 with a time jump of three months and Tim and Lucy are already engaged 🤷‍♀️

YES when my mental health has been really bad I have often just gone out to the coop to just put my head down on a sleepy chicken and Vibe. They're very warm and wholesome.
