In other news, I'm sorry for the lack of activity on the blog! I'm almost done with merch designs as I've mentioned before, but still have a lot of drawn work to do outside of it, so I'll be focusing on that for a while.

I do miss answering questions and interacting with everyone here, but I know myself enough to really focus on bite-sized projects to avoid overwhelming myself haha. Being away from MO actually helped bring about some ideas for the next update, so I can't wait to get back to writing for it next month!

I'm not sure if trains have to eat, but if they do, I know right well that dinnertime at the Freight shed takes at least an hour every night.

First off, there's an argument every time over who has to set the table, which usually ends with Porter passive-aggressively slamming the cutlery against the table to let everybody in the shed know that he's the one who stepped up and did it.

Then dinner actually begins.

Rusty's always about fifteen minutes late to the meal cause he's out practising, and by the time he gets back, the others have eaten about half his food.

Slick uses like- half a bottle of ketchup and gets in trouble for using that much off Momma. Hydra starts gagging cause he can't stand the smell, and she jokingly shoves a piece of food covered in ketchup in his face and he almost gets sick.

Lumber and Porter start having a petty argument that ends in food being thrown, and Lumber spilling his drink everywhere.

Hydra starts yapping about hydrogen, and Lumber threatens to find a way to shove potatoes in his tank. That shuts him up for a while.

Slick starts at least one major argument a dinner by bringing up a topic none of them agree on that ends in everyone getting in a food fight, including Rusty and Momma. The reason for the argument is forgotten after about ten minutes.

Momma does make them all help clean up afterwards, or else they won't get any ice cream.

Episode idea: Samwena VS Destiel

While undercover for a case, Sam and Rowena are getting a little too into suburbia.

They’re methodically checklisting every item in the "likable couple" category: community herb garden, a library exchange mailbox, weekly book club meetings… and Sam is pretty sure that with their perfectly trimmed hedges and expertly placed solar fairy lights, they're on their way to a city beautification award. But by the end of the month, everyone in the neighborhood is flocking to Dean and Cas’s fixer-upper instead—with its peeling paint, mismatched lawn chairs, half-dug fire pit, and duct-taped strings of half-working Christmas lights.

And—

And Sam just doesn't get it, okay? Dean and Cas aren't even a believable couple, not to mention they've been nothing but off-putting, foot-in-mouth weirdos since the day they moved in.

Yet, somehow, their impromptu backyard hangouts (cheap beer, store-bought BBQ, and a staticky radio) are a bigger draw than Rowena's elegant garden soirees (decent wine, catered hors d'oeuvres, and an outdoor stereo system).

Jack—undercover as the neighborhood pool-slash-garden boy—watches it all unfold. It's starting to seem like Sam and Rowena have forgotten there's an actual case to solve...

I know this question is kinda silly, but since Mychael doesn't seem to understand how relationships work, I thought of one thing, if MC flirted with someone else while in a relationship with him, would he take it as cheating or would he think that this behavior is it common in relationships?

Phew okay, this gets complicated so bear with me.

I'll assume it's MC and Mychael dating with a healthy relationship here (MC has no ill intent when they flirt with others, it's just banter), and we'll compare scenarios for verbal flirting vs physical flirting because they're slightly different?

Possible spoilers below since MC and Mychael are dating in this scenario but TL;DR: he doesn't see it as cheating but he'd be uncomfortable about it.

So firstly, Mychael doesn't flirt. He doesn't know how to. Even if he does, it's on accident.

Secondly, he's better with verbal affection than physical, with his love language being words of affirmation and being alone for so long he gets confused by physical affection.

With these starting points in mind, I'm confident that after Mychael starts dating he'd be more open to physical affection and fully understands what your touches mean. So he'd enjoy both!

Now to the actual answer!

He'd be okay with verbal flirting, only because he's not used to what flirting even looks like between two people, especially those with a playful or unserious tone! He only has you to base off relationships from, so he would chalk it up to you being cheeky and not reading too much into it. Unless you're less subtle when it comes to flirting (your intent might come across as serious) in which case,,, why would you even say those things to someone else in front of him? Of course he'd be upset! He's supposed to be yours so why are you talking that way to someone else!!

However! If you're being physically flirty that's when alarm bells start ringing in his head immediately and he gets insecure. He doesn't see it as cheating but he feels like those touches are meant for him and him only and gets uncomfortable when you express affection for someone else in that manner.

Either way, he wouldn't know if it's common or not. I don't think he'd even know the concept of cheating since it's never crossed his mind.

I didn't mean for it to get this long for such a simple yes/no question but I feel like it's important to represent the kind of person Mychael is when it comes to these things!

Alistair is having a grand time with his newfound sentience. He's been learning to play the harpsichord in the throne room, relaxing in the sauna (even though I'm fairly certain he lacks the ability to sweat), delving into Ivy's yaoi collection with Kwahu as a reading-buddy, and never straying too far from the luxury that is the Jones boys' coffee stash.

Of course, he is still the same old hardworking Alistair, and his efforts have paid off in the form of our brand-new android colonist! Everybody, meet Cora!!

She's very cute :3

Unlike Alistair, Cora has been programmed with an exceptional shooting ability, as well as plant skill instead of his crafting skill. She will be our hunter/gatherer mostly, and I'm very excited to see where the story takes her!!

Thinking about how we've seen Orange's temper go too far in two different and yet similar scenarios:

In AvM episode 7, "PvP", Orange and Green get into a fight over their builds encroaching on each others' spaces. Green struck first, turning the fight into a physical one and involving their friends, but Orange killed Green. This is implied to be the first time any of the CG have died, and then respawned in the context of Minecraft.

In AvM episode 24, "Lush Caves", Orange and Red find themselves stranded in a desert after a series of events that they both blame on the other. This time, it is Orange who strikes first. The two are sent spiraling into a fight that threatens both their lives, but ends with Orange decidedly having the upper hand. Red has changed to retreating, and yet Orange still pursues him. It seems to be the calming atmosphere of the caves that finally brings Orange to his senses, but who knows what the outcome might have been if he hadn't stopped.

Orange's temper is one of my favorite aspects about him, from a character perspective; he is so protective of his friends, and yet he can be driven to kill them. A case can be made that he wasn't aware that they could die and that's why he went as far as he did in PvP, but it's still so interesting.

Another quick note: I do wonder what would have happened if he'd killed Red. Would Red have respawned back at the PC? Can they respawn when they're away from their home computer? Or would Red have been gone for good?
