My apartment is Poorly soundproofed and I thought it would get better if I get some sealing strips for my bedroom door (cause there were some big gaps) but the only thing that changed is that i can no longer see the light from the other room 😭

#also the door is kinda deformed (yay 💀) and i can’t even apply the sealing strips on the whole doorframe because then the door doesn’t close #anymore 😭#like i guess it is a tiny bit better but i‘m pretty sure the door is hollow anyway :/#i did get sound absorbing curtains for the living room as well but god knows how much that is gonna do 😭#amybody with tips on how to make your flat more soundproofed hit me up

as is tradition, i've updated my: "hozier using terms of endearment on his songs" list.

"baby" remains number one with 9 new additions. he uses "baby" a total of 74 times throughout his entire (released) discography

"darling" was his favourite term this time around with 17 new additions. it went from only 9 to 26 times he used the term in his songs

"love" got 11 new additions. 17 in total

and last but not least he used "honey" one time. so that's 46 times he says "honey" now

As someone whos watched him since before i took a break from mcyt in middle school, I'm SO delighted to see the hermitcraft fandom discovering what an absolute experience Joel Smallishbeans is because as friends of Hermits are often are, a lot of HC fans just see a sliver of it and portray him as a quirked up white boy but no. He's not simply quirked up. He's actually unhinged. 1000% committed to any and all bits. Manic pixie nightmare.

It's always, like, mildly annoying when people see a het trans couple and go "all that work just to be straight?" like... one, you don't know if they're straight and two, trans people don't owe you a queer sexuality to "make up" for the fact we're trans. Transhet people aren't a subtype of trans people, they're members of the trans community, and the queer one if they so desire!
