Why do you think that John seemed so affected by George's new bonds? George never stopped talking good about him anyway. They didn't fight like George and Paul.

First of all, John had many issues, especially abandonment issues. A lot has been talked about John's problems so I want to focus on George for a bit.

We know that George had many obsessions during his lifetime and there are always jokes about his hyper fixations in the fandom, but it is important to notice that George managed to charm every single object of his affections into a lifetime friendship. Some examples are:

He went from wanting to learn sitar to becoming part of Ravi's family.

Bob Dylan wrote with him, became his friend and even accepted to join a band with George.

George liked Monty Python and Eric Idle was there when he passed away.

George liked F1 races, and many pilots ended up becoming very close friends.

How did George manage to create these bonds with people he was so obsessed over? Without context, George sounds like a stalker in most cases (he video taped Dylan constantly, Eric Idle didn't want to talk to him at first, he offered Ravi money for his first sitar lessons, etc...) but people let him in because all agree that George was sweet, genuinely interested and humble about what he liked. His personality and dedication won over many talented people who appreciated his attention, support and love.

For many years, most of that attention was focused on John but I think that John took it for granted until eventually George's love was also directed to too many places for his taste and the book was probably the definitive proof that George didn't love him like he used to. John went from George following around to communicate mainly through occasional postcards. Now, if we add John's abandonment issues and him over sharing with the press, we get that unfortunate playboy interview that ended up being John's final message to George.

It's not like John lost George's admiration or respect, but he wasn't good at reciprocating it and isolated himself. George then went with people who wanted to be with him and didn't chase after John anymore. George could never have guessed the effect that "omitting" John from his book caused.

Ok, so uhh Mr Gaiman, if you were to have the ability to time travel to alternative dimensions/universes, would you go to an alternative universe where Monty Python member Graham Chapman never got throat cancer and was still alive and well and happy in his 80s and living his best life in said alternative universe? If so, why? If not, why?

Again, sorry if it sounds a bit out of league and sorta philosophical in terms of the question for you to answer, Mr Gaiman, but I've been thinking about this for quite a while now and it does make me both happy and emotional to think about if Graham Chapman was still alive today, and if he was still alive today, what kinda projects he would've been in, both in terms of writing and acting? Would Graham still be in contact with the other Pythons? Would Graham probably also have a Tumblr account? (ok that's a bit of a stretch but it's a bit funny to imagine imo).

I certainly think that, if Graham was still alive today, he would've been absolutely happy that same-sex marriage was finally made legal plus many other achievements for LGBTQ+ rights, and that he would've probably gotten legally married to his partner David Sherlock, with the other Pythons being the guests of honour for the wedding ceremony!

I also wonder that, if Graham's adopted son John Tomiczek (who unfortunately died from a heart attack in 1992) were to also live, would've Graham finally become a grandpa/great-grandpa?

Idk, it's just some thoughts that I've been thinking about. Thoughts about the many upon many possibilities of Graham doing lots of stuff today if he were still alive. Things he *would've* and *could've* have had the opportunity to do......that is.....if the universe didn't decide to be a dickhead one day and give Graham throat cancer for no absolute reason, and to make it hurt even more, have him pass away on the eve before the 20th Anniversary of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" airing on the 5th October, 1989.....

Again, I understand if you can't be able to answer rn due to other stuff, but I thought I'd ask you this rather hypothetical (rather philosophical of sorts) question cuz I have been thinking about it for quite a while now, and I wanted to hear your personal thoughts on this hypothetical AU situation!

It's an excellent piece of work, and a great taste of what's to come. I've also watched their Cascade animation - although, according to Vamp, it does contain some subtle spoilers that I missed.

I've been able to check out a lot of the earlier Ichellor videos, but I'm probably going to have to wait a while before I can see their full body of work. Looking forward to it, though.

I suppose Terezi's abilities could indeed be themed around sensing outcomes, rather than decisions, as I previously theorized - or, it could also represent some abstract 'Mind' idea with ties to both. With only one Mind Player to analyze, it's hard to say anything definitively.

They're literally blood brothers - and a handshake is also pretty decent shorthand for what I think Blood's all about.

Mind you, I'm not sure if the troll session did lack this interpretation of Blood. Hivebent seemed to imply that the trolls were, in fact, an extremely effective team, all thanks to Karkat's leadership - and the trolls have forged plenty of meaningful relationships across their group, too. If Blood represents strong relationships, then the trolls have Blood in spades, as well as hearts, clubs, and diamonds.

I like this power a lot. Touhou seems to have a lot of really clever powers - which is weird, because I always thought it was a mostly plotless bullet-hell game. I guess there are tie-in materials?

I've really got to play Touhou sometime, but there are so many games, and I have no idea where to start.

Nice. These abilities are sort of the ultimate expression of a 'luck-based' power - a power that guarantees the most optimal outcome possible. Now that Rose has a similar ability, she's finally thematically cohesive with Vriska!

If Time is death-themed, though, then where does that leave Doom? Because Sollux's arc was saturated with themes of death, and I've always assumed that was because of his Aspect.

There's no definitive answer - but personally, I think that John was at least able to pick up that buckets were an innuendo in troll culture.

When it comes to pranks, our boy's got a killer instinct - so I think his specific reference to the bucket's 'heartfelt payload' was just a very lucky shot.
