it was time for one of aphmau’s annual parties, and the girl had enthusiastically made a point to include you with her friend group to join in on their celebration. from the way she described it, it sounded like it would be a fun time, and as the new girl in the neighborhood, you definitely couldn’t reject the generous notion. 

especially when you found out that most of your neighbors had already been friends with each other since high school. it was really intimidating, to be thrown in a place where everyone around you already had a bond. how did they all even manage to find these nice houses next to each other?

you were grateful that they all were really friendly and seemed really open to letting in new people into the group. one had been especially friendly—a certain man with white hair and charmingly bright green eyes. you couldn’t lie he was attractive, and honestly one of the funniest ones in the group, but with his overly confident “womanizer” attitude you couldn’t help but obliviously ignore his advances on you.

it wasn’t that you weren’t interested. but you wouldn’t be easy against his rather brazen pickup lines and… dorky charm. he’d have to work for it. besides, it was kind of fun to watch him chase after you like a lost puppy.

that’s what brings you here, in your kitchen, the night before the party with travis himself. after all, you hadn’t accepted his flirtatious moves, but you most definitely hadn’t rejected them, either. everyone volunteered to cook a dish for the party in the group chat, and conveniently he happened to once again be loitering in your house—a habit he had started after you made it known he was welcome—as everyone discussed what they’d bring. he’d suggested for you both to hang out and cook your dishes together, and you couldn’t let down that hopeful glint in the man’s eyes.

“travis, now why in the world would you think mustard is scary. you have got to be messing with me right now.” you scoff, leaning back on your counter.

“i’m not!” he defends with his hands up, snickering at the unimpressed face you shoot him. “a lot of people get unnerved by random things for no reason! like mushrooms, and lots of holes, and even just a drop of blood!”

he points up as the window flashes with light, a loud thunder strike from the storm raging on outside cracking right after. “and thunderstorms!”

“okay, drama queen. i’d say being scared of thunderstorms and blood is a lot more justifiable than a condiment.” you scoff, before frowning as the wind howls and aggressively throws thick pellets of rain into your windows. “speaking of which, i’m not scared of storms but i don’t know if walking or even driving back down the street to your house would be safe 

travis’s eyebrows raise, pretty dark eyelashes brushing along his cheekbones as he blinks at you in surprise. a second later he’s leaning onto the counter with a goofy-looking smirk on his face.

“so, you want me to stay?—”

crack!

“oh!” you startle, not missing how travis also jumped in place too. “i’m surprised the power hasn’t gone out yet…”

“don’t—” travis starts only to be interrupted by another loud crash of thunder from the sky, the both of you getting sent into complete darkness. “…jinx it.”

for a moment the both of you stand in your kitchen in silence, listening as the heater powers down along with the gentle whir of your household appliances. if you could see each other in this moment you imagine you’d both be awkwardly standing with your arms by your sides. another flash of lightning briefly lights up the room to show your assumption was correct, and you burst into giggles after seeing travis’s pressed lips and wide eyes.

“huh? why are you laughing?” travis asks, though the amused warble in his voice gives himself away before he starts laughing with you.

it wasn’t freezing cold outside, but it most definitely wasn’t warm enough to get away with not having the heater on in your house. the immediate lack of hot air rushing through the vents sent a small chill against your skin, even through your warm pajamas.

your laughter stops as realization of your situation seeps in with the cold. not only was your heater off, but so was your fridge and your…

“oh my god our food is ruined.”

there’s a dreadful pause for silence—and now that your eyes are adjusting to the dark—you see travis whip his head to look down at the oven, where your dishes were only halfway cooked inside.

“…damn.”

“that's all you have to say, travis?” you chide.

“what? i mean, there’s nothing we can do about it, right?”

a disappointed sigh leaves your lips before you reach over to your phone, the screen lighting up to show the late hour it already was. there’s no telling how long the power would be out, and this was enough for the wind to blow out of your sails. you can’t be bothered to try and figure out a way to fix this.

a full-body shiver wracks your body as you stare blankly at your screen.

“hey, i can help you remake everything tomorrow morning if it’s ruined by then.” travis suddenly says. 

his voice is a bit closer, and you realize he’s moved right in front of you, part of his face now also glowing in your phone’s dim light. the look on his face is genuine and he seems almost worried, his own lips mimicking your own downturned expression. it makes you sigh, dropping your tense shoulders as another rumble of thunder vibrates through your house.

travis gently sets his hand over yours and your phone. “why don’t you sleep and i can come back in the morning?”

“come back?” you repeat. “no way you’re going back in this weather, that’s so dangerous! plus you’ll get sick.”

travis stares down at both of your slippered feet, then over to the kitchen windows, then back to you. “okay, i’ll stay if you want me to.”

you shiver again as you nod, crossing your arms to conserve the heat from escaping your body. you’re surprised at how calm and passive he was being. it’s not like he was always overbearing with his flirting and jokes, but it seemed to always be a part of his personality—not whatever this… soft, quiet version of him was.

“cold already?” he asks, rocking on his feet himself as he clenches and unclenches his hands.

“yeah… i didn’t know i needed the heater running that much, but i guess the storm made it even colder…” you mutter.

you catch his smirk through the dark. “well i know one way we can warm each other up—”

ah, there he is.

you’re about to swing a slap wherever it would land in the dark, though you stop when the suggestion clicks in your brain as an opportunity to give in to his advances—but with a perfect excuse.

“oh yeah! we can do that!”

travis’s eyes blow wide open as he takes a step back, a few startled coughs leaving his lips from inhaling too suddenly.

“wait, what?!”

“we can cuddle.”  you simply return. “since there’s no heater!”

he deflates his tense shoulders, nervous laughs leaving his lips. “oh, yeah! right, yeah. cool cool cool. that’s what i meant.”

turning on your phone flashlight you grab his hand, guiding him through your house while trying to hold back the urge to laugh at his flustered state. you wish the lights were on only so you could see whether he was blushing or not.

your bedroom was already a bit chilly compared to the kitchen, since it was at the far end of the house away from the main flow of your ac system. it makes you pull travis closer as you speed up your steps to your bed, finally letting go of him to rip open the comforter and dive into the sheets.

shimmying over to make room for him, you wave him to you through the dark to get in himself. you watch him rock back and forth on his feet before leaning over, crawling in right next to you and keeping just an inch of distance between the two of you.

“you sure you’re okay with this?” he whispers to you.

“yeah, of course i am.”

this seems to set off a green light for him, his arms circling around your waist and pulling you practically on top of him. you feel his feet kick next to yours, squeaking out a tiny “yay!” in celebration. the act was insanely adorable for the grown age he was at.

you can only quietly giggle at his antics, unable to nonchalantly play it off as usual. you hug him back, tucking yourself under his chin, and you feel his chest swell in a happy inhale. 

“i love you.” he sighs, a dopey smile evident in his tone. 

it makes your heart stutter in your chest, eyes wide open as they stare at his chest in the dark. 

“…what?”

his arms tense around you, breath hitching like he just realized what he said and beginning to stutter out an excuse. “um… i mean… not like…! oh my—i’m so sorry—”

“you really like me?” you ask, pulling back enough to make out his face in the dark. his eyes are wide and round, face in shock and embarrassment as if he had just slipped and fell in front of a whole crowd.

“i… i mean… isn’t it obvious?” he whispers sheepishly.

“well, you flirt with a lot of people. i didn’t know if you meant it with me or not.”

“no, not anymore!” he lurches himself closer to you. “didn’t you notice i only do that with you now?”

you blink as you try to recall a recent time you’ve seen or heard travis trying to use a pick up line or even staring at another one of the girls, and you honestly can’t recall it.

“…i guess so.” you mutter, and he squeezes you to him.

“so i do mean it with you! i know i can be really stupid and a little annoying, but—”

“you’re not annoying, travis. the things you do are a little stupid sometimes—”

“hey!”

“—but i think it’s cute.”

his jaw drops and mouth opens in shock. “you…you do? wait, do you…?”

you nod. “i like you.”

there’s a beat of silence, before he pulls you tight against him. a second later he rolls you around with him very similarly to how a crocodile rolls their prey, though the taller and heavier man thankfully keeps his weight from completely crushing you.

“travis!” you laugh, groaning at the sudden movement as you’re captured and thrown around like a rag doll. “how do you have this energy right now?”

“really?” he squeals, giggling like a schoolgirl. “you like me?”

“yes! now release me! please!” you breathlessly laugh.

he at least stops the rolling at your pleading, though he keeps you in his bear hug as he holds you on top of him.

“so, does this mean you want to date me?” he eagerly asks, still breathing heavily from the death roll he just made you endure.

you rest your forehead on his chest, quietly laughing to yourself in a bit of shock of what you just admitted. how did you give in so easily? you were hoping to drag this out for at least another month!

“it’s so late. why don’t we talk about this in the morning?”

he deflates and audibly pouts with a dejected sigh, and despite his dramatics clearly being played up you can’t help but still feel a bit guilty. rising up to your elbows you lean over him, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek and another on his lips.

"you dork." you chide under your breath.

his eyes are so wide you can see the whites all around the dark green of his irises. suddenly his hands are cupping your cheeks, and he’s bringing you down for a longer kiss. he pulls away a few moments later, seeming much more satisfied than he was a few moments ago.

“okay… we can talk in the morning.” he agrees breathlessly, staring up at you like he’d been locked away in a cave all his life and you were his first glance at the stars in the sky.

it makes the smile on your face impossible to fight, and you don’t think you care to anymore.

“good night, travis.”

“good night, hon.”

Zhys headcannons?👀 gimme

okay!! this gonna be a mix of general hcs for each of them and also together.

• Zhys’ rivalry is very one sided. Zane genuinely hates Rhys at first, while Rhys is just confused and a little upset that Zane doesn’t seem to like him very much just because the others think Rhys is more intelligent.

-> Rhys actually thinks Zane is much more intelligent than him and has a lot of experience, especially considering their both one of the oldest on the server and have progressed the most in their careers (yeah screw you im not working on their supposed ages, they are toxic old man yaoi to me). He just thinks Zane needs to learn to swallow his ego since it’s obvious his friends are just using him as the butt of the joke.

• Before Rhys met Zane, Aphmau talked about him like he was the world, so Rhys thought he was going to be this very sweet older man who shared some of his interests and would be a good person he could become with friends first.

-> Turns out that sweet older man only exists for Aphmau. Rhys thought the two had a thing for a while after (which wouldn’t be wrong…)

• When Rhys first joined, Aph made him stay with Zane for a while until they got his house built because “you both like smart stuff this could work.”

-> It did not work and Rhys got kicked out the first day after Zane tried very hard to do it “just for aphmau” as he kept saying for himself.

• Rhys ended up building his house right next to Zane’s since most of the plots were full and it also meant he’d be fairly close to Aphmau, who lives next door to Zane.

-> later when they get together, they build a little joint living area between their houses…neither of them want to get rid of their labs to move in with the other, so why not make a shared living space in between their own homes for the times they do want to be together.

• Rhys developed a crush on Zane fairly quickly, but he kept denying it. It started when in their fights Zane felt a need to be very up close and personal with him…and he quickly realized just how easily Zane could grab and move him around.

-> Zane actually scared Rhys the first time he picked him up by the collar in a fight, Rhys didn’t think Zane was very strong considering the others called him weak. It definitely got him feeling things after through

• Rhys may look small next to Zane, but he’s actually one of the tallest on the server alongside Pierce. Zane is just a beast compared to everyone else (save me 6’7 Zane save me)

• Off the server, Zane and Rhys both work in the medical field. Zane works as an ER doctor, while Rhys is slowly working his way into switching to being a psychiatrist! He worked in finance originally.

-> basically, I like them both being nerds but I think it would be interesting if they came from different STEM backgrounds. Zane is definitely more medical with some background in physics / engineering (he’s had a million jobs, he’s a Jack of all trades but anything science related is his prime work) while Rhys’ is purely mathematics with some minor interest in psychology.

• Rhys accidentally psychoanalyses Zane sometimes and it actually drives him up the wall because “I KNOW IM MENTALLY ILL DONT REMIND ME!!”

• Bc of their work hours, Zhys usually gets on the server after long shifts. Before Rhys joined, Zane would be the only one on while others were sleeping or at work (which left others to find his insane projects in the morning). He didn’t mind it at all, considering he would have 18 hour shifts where he’s surrounded by people and under stress, man’s needed the break !! But sometimes it was nice to not be entirely alone after Rhys joined.

• Rhys helps Zane with some of his projects. Zane ofcourse doesn’t really like the idea of their being another “smart” person on the server, but it atleast means someone can FINALLY understand his projects and his speak in his own lingo without him having to dumb down everything he says.

• Zane’s projects success rate surprisingly increased after Rhys joined. Everyone on the server thinks he’s maybe just taking himself more seriously now to one up Rhys.

-> Zane has too much pride when it comes to his work, always thinking that he’s got it perfect the first time and never takes the time to test anything or double check his work. (his doctor ego showing) He’s also the owner of the server and always OPed, so he knows he can just fix whatever he breaks. But having Rhys around atleast means someone will be making sure he put everything in place correctly and doesn’t accidentally throw the server into a disaster for the 10th time that month.

• Zane eventually starts to slowly accept Rhys once he realizes Rhys isn’t trying to take his place on the server and that they actually work really well together in a professional setting.

• Zane has always been the kind of guy to develop feelings and then shove it back down because “I can’t worry about that rn I have a job”, but it’s harder for him to ignore over time as Rhys really likes to stand close with the person he’s talking to and make good eye contact, which slowly starts to get Zane flustered once he realizes just how much Rhys really REALLY listens to him, and easily jealous when he does the same to other people.

• Their first kiss would definitely either be when they’re in a fight or Kim going “oh just kiss already” when they’re bickering and the two just pause and stare at eachother before Zane grabs his face.

-> No one thought they would actually do it and all of them scream in unison the moment Zane just kisses him aggressively bc they all just didn’t see the signs except for Kim. (She knew immediately when she noticed how the way Zane and her fight are not the same as Zane and Rhys…like why are you getting so close to his face like that? to kiss him?)

• Between the two of them Rhys gets the most flustered easiest, Zane can be a hard shell to crack sometimes and he definitely uses the knowledge to his advantage.

“Wait - so you mean to tell me Ivan CHEATED on you?!” You questioned the ginger and she nodded. You couldn’t help but furrow your eyebrow together. Who in their right mind would cheat on Lucinda? Or anyone in general? You could debate the topic if this were the case but it wasn’t. You were just glad Lucinda wasn’t too heartbroken - or maybe she was still processing things?

Either way, Lucinda had decided that today was a good day to have a sleepover, not because she was now single but because you guys graduated from high school just a week ago. Although you both had went out with Aphmau and the other to celebrate, Lucinda wanted to go out with it just being the two of you since you two are pretty close friends.

You couldn’t help but hide your flushed face when she had mentioned that it was just going to be the two of you since she wanted to spend more time with you. You’ve had a crush on Lucinda for a couple of years now and honestly it’s been a pain in the ass building up the courage to ask her out. Not just because there was always a guy trying to date her but because you didn’t know if she liked girls.

There being multiple reasons as to why not to ask her out you had decided to keep quiet - and thankfully you did because just the week before you had even began building up the courage to confess to her she had already gotten with Ivan. You remember going home with your heart shattered and crying until you basically passed out from exhaustion. It was probably a mix of your lack of sleep and crying but it didn’t really matter at the time.

You have always had a fear of rejection. Whether it was a fear of being rejected in front of others, being rejected while the person had a face of disgust, hatred, or discomfort, or just any type of rejection really. You name it. Either way you told yourself you’d try to get over that fear and that next time she was single you were going to shoot your shot.

It took a while but after a year and a half. Lucinda was now “up for grabs” as some of your ex-classmates used to say. You couldn’t help but glare at them when they weren’t looking. How could they even say that about her as if she wasn’t a human being? Well - yeah she’s half witch but you know what I mean.

Two years later and here you were knocking on Laurance's dorm door. You had heard from Aphmau that Garroth had a crush on the ginger and was debating confessing to her. You don't even know WHY you were mad that Garroth was allegedly confessing to her, she wasn't your girlfriend after all, and she was allowed to do as her heart desired and yet here you were watching as Laurance opened his dorm door. What were you even going to tell him? 'Hey, I heard that Garroth was thinking about confessing to Lucinda and I was kind of hoping he wasn't because I have this huge crush on her, but I haven't really had the guts to do so but every time I FINALLY have the courage to do so it seems that someone else has the same idea and usually gets to ask her out before I can.'

You didn't even realize you had zoned out and were staring at Laurance until he let out a flirty remark. "You know, if you just wanted to stare at me, you're more than able to - but it would be better if you were inside with me rather than out here" You blinked a couple of times before holding back a cringe face. You didn't hate Laurance; you guys were actually best friends, but you never liked his flintiness. Not only were they cringe but you weren't interested in him. You let out a nervous laugh and shook your head. He led you inside and you sat down on his couch. He offered you something to drink and you gladly accepted it.

"So, what brings you here?" He asked and you couldn't help but smile softly.

"What? Can't a girl visit her friend? Or am I not allowed to be here? " His eyes went wide as he shook his head and handed you a cup of water.

"Wha- no that's - that's not what I meant, it's just -" You couldn't help but giggles as Laurance tried his best to compose himself after blushing a bit.

"I'm just fucking with you. I um.... It might seem weird to just come in and ask but is it true Garroth likes Lucinda?" Laurance gave you a confused and curious look. He was wondering why you of all people were curious. You never seemed like the type to ask about anyone's love life. The only reason for you to ask such thing would be -

"Do you like Lucinda?" You looked at Laurance with wide eyes. You knew at one point someone was gonna ask so you already had an excuse to your sudden outburst of a question.

"No - no that's not the case. It's just that Lucinda's my best friend and I know about Garroths history, how he was in high school - flirting with girls and stuff. I was just wondering if he was still the same after graduating? I know there was this whole thing with you, him, and Aphmau" Laurance shook his head, assuring you that Garroth had changed after the whole Aphmau issue and that he had no intention of flirting with anyone.

"To answer your question, yes Garroth does like Lucinda and he's planning on asking her today. That must be where he went off to seeing as he isn't in his room." Your heart sunk but hearing Laurance tell you where they might be you decided to rush up there to see if he was ACTUALLY going to confess to her. You felt disgust towards the way you were acting. After all, she wasn't your girlfriend so there was no point in chasing her the way you were now.

You had went to the cafe Laurance told you they were going to be at and surely when you walked in you saw the two sitting down, chatting while drinking coffees? You couldn't exactly tell what they were drinking. You decided to order a drink and casually walk up to them. It wasn't until you heard Garroth ask Lucinda out that you froze. She wouldn't say yes, right?

"Of course I'll go out with you Garroth!" You felt your heart shatter. It wasn't until Lucinda and Garroth looked your way that you realized you were full on staring at the new couple.

"Oh Y/N! I - I didn't expect to see you here?" Your head was spinning as you tried your best to hold back tears. This was the second time someone's asked her before you and you couldn't help but let a couple of tears drop. You were glad the barista called your name because before Lucinda could even put her hands on your shoulder to ask what was wrong you quickly walked to grab your coffee and ran out of the cafe.

You cursed to yourself as it finally hit you. She wasn't in love with you, otherwise she would've never said yes to Garroth nor would she have dated Ivan. It was a one sided crush and you were dumb enough to keep chasing after her. You drove to your dorm as your phone kept bussing and ringing. It was probably from Lucinda. You shut your phone off the minute you got home and went inside.

You were thankful your roommate wasn’t home as you quickly went to your room - locking the door behind you. Another thing you were grateful for was that Lucinda wasn’t your roommate, otherwise it would’ve been hard to ignore her. You curled up on your bed and covered yourself with your blanket as you sobbed. Your heart ached after all and you blamed yourself for not listening to Kai when he told you he was CERTAIN Lucinda had zero romantic feelings for you.

obviously spoilers for the minecraft movie, so don't read if you haven't seen it and want to!! i legit just go through like all the plotnand stuff, so RUN AWAYYYYYY

frankly i didn't care for backstories/problems of the characters. only ones i slightly cared for were henry and natalie's situation and i just BARELY cared about head-honcho piglin's(i forgot her name, oopsies)(her knife gag was funny) backstory because it had pigstep playing. other than that? backstories and problems weren't my thing

SPEAKING OF PROBLEMS. i am so disappointed with aphmau, dan, mumbo, and lizzie's cameos. "oh foxi, but they're cameos! they aren't gonna be main characters." WELL ATLEAST SHOW THEM SOME RESPECT???? GIVE EM ATLEAST A LINE???? lizzie and aphmau were shown the most JUST CAUSE THEY WERE BEHIND THAT STORAGE UNIT GUY WHILE HE TALKED. DAN GOT LIKE A PAN OR TWO. Zane isn’t necessarily shy, he was very reclusive before Aph and didn’t talk to people much. Just like socially ambiguous and a little awkward so he doesn’t know how to get to know you at all.

After he finds out you’re skilled in this way, he begins to form an unusual admiration for you. And he has a hard time deciphering if Aphmau is right, and he wants to be your friend, or if he’s just after the bake goods you make.

Dating stuff:

Zane dating a baker probably leads to domestic bliss

You know all his favorite treats and make them for him regularly

He has a hard time knowing how to repay you since he’s very new to dating, and isn’t used to anybody being so generous with him.

Be sure to assure him you do it cause you love him

depending on what season of mystreet you guys start dating changes how he initially reacts to your hobby/profession

Seasons 1-2: Zane would be pretty reluctant to any gift giving and feel strange receiving so much with little asked in return. He’s obviously very happy but has a hard time showing and expressing it. Scared you’ll start to think he’s a bad boyfriends for not getting you gifts the same way.

Season 3: Would be more openly grateful for your presence while living with Garroth and Laurence. He’s tired of them and their bromance lovey dovey displays of affection all the time. Having you around to bring some sweetness into his life makes him happy, although he’s still very emotionally constipated.

Post Season 4: He needs the most physical support right now. Gifts and gestures to show him you care and know him are greatly appreciated. Invite him into the kitchen to help you frost some cupcakes, regardless of how bad he is. Remind him of all the ways you love him, there’s certain times he really needs it.

His mom loves you, you compliment him well.

Hey new to the aphmau fandom, like days old, and i was wondering what order to watch her rps as its kinda confusing to me

This is going to be such a long post because there’s so much to say! (There is a TLDR at the end if you don’t care about specifics and just want a watch order)

The inclusion of side-series and stuff just convolutes things a tad. But I promise, you will get an answer.

First;

I suggest a side series to start. Which isn’t to say that they’re all short, they’re just not relevant to the Big Two.

But, yeah, just dip your toe in the pool first.

Dreams of Estorra- never watched it. But it’s popular. It should be on the Aphmau Stories channel instead of her main one, if you can’t find it there. If someone can offer me a summary for it I would love you.

A Royal Tale- a weird mishmash of Disney and the Aphverse. A lighthearted fantasy show with some adult humour, Lo (< an icon), and romance. It will introduce you to some of the characters from the other series without overwhelming you with references you won’t understand. Aarmau, but they’re exes who hate eachother. It’s only a roleplay

Mermaids Tale- similar thing to ART, a mermaid au for Aphverse. Very Aarmau centric, there’s lesbian mermaids. I cant actually remember the plot but it got me into my train (the singer) phase. It’s only a roleplay

Mod Mod world- never watched it, but it did get a sequel that I’ll bring up later. Again, would love a summary from someone.

My Inner Demons- it’s one of the only non-aphmau centric shows and doesn’t include ANY aphverse characters. The main character is Ava, and it’s set up like a Harem Anime with a bunch of male demon love interests for her. It has quite adult humour, but it’s pretty cute aesthetically and deserves a second season. It’s only a roleplay

HeartPoint- a girl sees how much people like her platonically and romantically by little stats that appear above their heads. I believe Aphmau is the only Aphverse character, and whilst the romance is pretty obvious to me, I’ll leave who she ends up with blank as that’s kind of a part of the series… iirc. It’s only a roleplay.

There may be more… I’ll have to look.

Anyways.

So.

Onto the behemoths.

Minecraft Diaries is the first of the Roleplays to really get her popularity. It’s a medieval fantasy, with both roleplay and let’s play elements in it. It ran for three seasons, seasons one and two being 100 episodes each, however season 3 ended short. It was never completed. Season three is regarded as the worst season, and most either don’t consider it canon or haven’t watched it at all, but I consider it canon solely because it introduces us Lo, who I love. The two main ships when it was popular were Laurmau and Garmau, and if it weren’t for MyS, they probably still would be treated as such.

If you want to watch the main series in chronological order, I would watch MCD first. It is my favourite tho so maybe I’m biased. The lore can be contradictory and the quality slowly improves over time. It started to get remade with Rebirth, which you can watch before hand to get a general gist of the show before you dive into it, though it isn’t incredibly accurate to how the original is. Seasons 1-2 are on Aphmau’s main channel (I think), but season 3 is on Aphmau Stories. You don’t need to watch MyStreet but, you will probably end up watching it anyways.

Brief intermission: Void Paradox. The Mod Mod world sequel, is also a side series for MCD s1, and was made years afterwards. Very high quality, probably one of the better side series in general, and deserved a continuation. MMW isn’t required to watch it, but for context on Laurence and what’s up with him, MCD s1 is.

The next is MyStreet. It started as a modern Au for Diaries with the side stories and The Big Move, however began to be made into its own series. It begins as a slice of life, and is very light hearted with an Aarmau emphasis. It faces a genre swap for Season 4, before reverting to a slightly more solemn version of what it once was, before it goes back to a darker vibe for s6. Until s6, it existed in a separate universe to MCD, and you don’t need to watch MCD to understand it (though it does provide some context for s6)

There are prequels and side series (and a three episode sequel, which is fun). PDH is the main one, and because MyS was made first, they can contradict, however you will need to watch PDH S2 for context for MyS S4. Otherwise you won’t know the villain or understand what the fuck he’s doing. After them, there is PDH: Graduation days, and FalconClaw University. Neither are particularly important, but again, FCU offers some context for s4, so… you could watch it. It’s just not mandatory. There’s Aphmau’s year after s4, which is just a recovery mini-season, and there’s Her Wish which was released before s6, but set after it. And I will give them credit, they did preplan when they wrote her wish and watching it after s6 and realising everything they did to retain continuity… oh it’s good. Her wish does require watching MCD S3/late s2 though, it won’t make sense without it.

TLDR;

If a series isn’t Void Paradox, Mystreet, MCD, Phoenix Drop High or FalconClaw Uni, you can just watch it whenever.

MCD / PDH / MYS is my personal favourite watch order, because it’s all chronological. But just go with whatever you vibe with!

MCD is the OG and fantasy Medieval, but is a mix of roleplay and let’s play, and doesn’t have entirely consistent lore. It has a partial remake and it’s final, incomplete season, sucked.

PDH is higher quality and a highschool drama with fantasy undertones but less relevant, and is a prequel for MyS

MYS is the most popular and is a slice of life with more fantasy undertones, as well as very high quality, but suffers through genre swaps, and requires some context from the other two in later seasons.

Help Fandom Wiki!

So, my post about me doing my Enhanced Aph Wiki has gotten ALOT of attention, and I'm shocked at the positive response it has gotten.

However, I made an important reblog/comments by both me and @lggy regarding the Fandom Aph Wiki. In my original post, I talked about how I wasn't sasified with the Fandom wiki or with Fandom in general. While not outright stated, it still gave out the impression that I was trying to slander those who work on the Aphmau Wiki on Fandom.

So, for some clarification;

A.) I am NOT slandering the people who work hard on the Aph Wiki on Fandom! They are doing great work, and I completely understand why they haven't transfered off of Fandom (theres a risk of being stripped of everything and Ioosing), and considering how popular Fandom is as a site I'm not saying they should. That's a shit ton of work for people to do.

B.) I am NOT suggesting that people of the fandom should leave that wiki, or that I am trying to upstage the massive amount of effort that has gone into the current wiki. There is alot of effort put in there, and they need help. I can understand fustration when you're working hard on something for fandom then it getting disregarded by someone who just came out of no where.

If this was what you got out of my original post, then I am really sorry. I never was trying to insinuate anything rather then "here's an idea that I'm gonna work on and I just wanted to show you the idea!"

My personal beef with Fandom Wiki is with the site Fandom rather then the admins and editors that help mantain the pages. My beef comes with how Fandom can act and the sheer amount of ads on their pages. Never the people who voulenteer their time and effort to keeping communities' wikis up.

The wiki idea I have is incredibly in-depth. Like, full on episode transcript of actions and dialouge, as well as tons of screenshots showing outfits, and even meta elaboration (i.e. the amulet in Season 1, Episode 91 that is shown is from Thaumcraft. Season 1 Shadowknight armor is made from the Nether Scorpion Armor from Mo'Creatures, etc.). Walls of text meant to be a reference point.

This type of description, elabroation and content doesn't really work with Fandom Wiki. They can't elaborate every single thing when it's meant to be a quick run-down, not a doctoral thesis of explaining Minecraft Roleplay. Enchanted/Enhanced is a personal project for me that I wanted to share to Aphblr mostly to share resources. I wanted to make an uber detailed wiki archive for myself, and to share to for fic writers/artist who need a super specific reference.

But the major thing here is that Fandom Aph Wiki needs help! They need more people to expand and help that wiki, as there are alot of incompleted pages and edits. There's already a team of people there and they can always use more hands! There's even a list nicely made by Iggy on what needs to be done and what needs the most work on.

The Enhanced/Enchanted Wiki won't be avalablie in any time soon considering that this is a personal project to my standards, I am working on this solo, I have no funding for it or any means of funding, and I have college that I'm starting next week. The soonest I could give any real update would be possibly 2 weeks, and that's the earliest I could give.

Fandom Aph Wiki? Has none of the issues above! By all means they have way more established compared to what I have right now, and they have everything up!

I wanna talk about titles and names for things in my MCD au/rewrite

This may be long, you’ve been warned

First and foremost Lord Lady and Sir:

In my universe, it was generally uncommon (though not unheard of) for a woman to be the head of a village until Aphmau. If a woman was the head of a village she would be called Lady (her name) and never Lord (her name). Aphmau was the first woman to call herself Lord, and since then it became customary.

Though there are other reasons someone may be called “Lady”. If they are the wife of a Lord, a high or head knight/guard, or if they are someone of great importance. For example, Lady Katelyn the Firefist and Lady Azura of Bright Port. While Katelyn is a member of the Jury, Lady Katelyn the Firefist is her official title, but when she is stripped of her rank, that title is taken as well and she became just Katelyn. Azura being head guard of Bright Port gives her the title of Lady Azura.

And finally, Sir. Similarly to Lady, Sir is the title given to male head guards. While Garroth is head guard of Phoenix Drop, he is known as Sir Garroth of Phoenix Drop. While Laurance is head guard he is Sir Laurance Zvahl of Meteli. Though when he left for Phoenix Drop he lost that title. He still sometimes introduces himself as Sir Laurance by accident.

Next, Werewolves:

There are a few different kinds of werewolves: pure blood, half blood, and turned. Werewolf is the umbrella term used for any Lycan kind.

A pure blooded werewolf is also known as a Wolfer. These wolves do not have a human form, though they do have a human-like form (think how we usually see Bodolf or Lowell). They also have a pure wolf form or natural form, where they appear like a normal wolf, though slightly larger.

A half blooded werewolf is also known as a halfling wolf or halfling wolfer. These are werewolfs that are born of both werewolf blood and the blood of something else, be it a human, meif’wa, elf etc. These wolves have a pure wolf form, a pure human form, and the ability to show their wolf ears and tail while in their human form. Examples of halfling wolfers would be Yip and Leona.

And finally a turned werewolf is exactly how it sounds. A werewolf who was not born but rather turned. Their traits depend on what the wolf that turned them’s traits were. In Logan’s case, he was turned by a Wolfer, therefore has the traits of a wolfer along with a human form.

I also want to mention a bit about werewolf hierarchy.

Most werewolf villages are small and refer to themselves as tribes or packs, depending on if they are made up mostly of halfling wolfers or full wolfers respectively. Their leader is referred to as The Alpha or just Alpha. Never by their name unless it is someone they are very close to.

Finally Magicks Users, Witches, Warlocks, etc.

The term used for any type of magickal person is Magi. They are also sometimes referred to as Mystics, though this term is fairly outdated.

A magicks user is any person born with the ability to use magicks. Pretty simple. This does not include witches.

Witches are born witches, much like an elf is born an elf. It is a species not ability. Witches are born with a higher connection to the earth and have the ability to learn witchcraft rather easily, though they don’t all choose to. Witches are often female, but it is possible for a male to be a witch.

A mage is a person who is not born with any magicks or witchcraft. They give themselves Rune Tattoos and often Scar Runes, and teach themselves magicks. This often takes a very long time, so in some cultures (like Zerimar) they do this at birth so the child will grow up with the ability. Mages are outlawed in many places throughout Ru’aun.

A Shaman is a mage who teaches themselves magicks for religious purposes, usually under the faith of Irene or another Divine Warrior. In Castor, the Chicken Shaman’s case, it was under the faith of the chicken gods… or something… no one really knows..

A Demon is a bit blurry. Not much is known about them other than that they come from another realm and are often evil.

A Shadow Knight is anyone brought back to life (or in Laurance’s case transformed against his will) by the Shadow Lord in the Nether. A Shadow Knight that has not claimed their immortality is often referred to as a “premature” Shadow Knight.

A Divine Being is anyone with borderline unnatural magickal abilities, or anyone able to master both a magicks and witchcraft. They are believed to be either divine beings or divinely chosen.

And FINALLY, a Warlock is anyone who falls under any of these categories (aside from the last three) and uses their abilities solely for evil, their own selfish gain, and/or to deceive others.

I love it when a plot starts actually coming together!

SO I have been trying to think of how I was going to add Kai into my fic for awhile. He is a prince of Tu'la and the nephew of the current king. He has a history with Liochant, generally hated by many South Tu'la people, and is currently overseeing some of the Tu'la soldiers in Ru'aun because his uncle views him as a possible usurper. I have gotten that far but I haven't been able to decide how I was going to put him into the plot until now.

Kai is a manipulator to his core, he may regret his actions after the fact but he manipulates before he thinks. He is a politician. He is also a coward who instead of deciding to end his uncles cruelty himself, (a cruelty that he unknowingly helped in creating), he instead choses the simplest way to help by smuggling people out but only one or two a year. Kai became an expert at poisons after his uncle forced him to poison the southern royal family, he can easily take out his uncle and ascend to the throne himself as the only other viable heir. He is too afraid to.

So my next plot point in my fic involves the group setting up a Tu'la festival in Scaleswind to lure out soliders. It is well know that Scaleswind has the most Tu'la refugees so it wouldn't be weird for them to celebrate there and Tu'la soldiers have been spotted trying to recapture refugees so it is the perfect way to lure them out. (It is also illegal in Tu'la to attack/cause war hostilites during festivals because its just a dick move. Similar to WWII taking a break on christmas)

So a bunch of Tu'la soldiers go to the festival and Kai joins them but sticks to the shadows, going unnoticed by even his men. He knows its a trap right out the gate, but the moment he spots Liochant it gaurentees it for him and he decides to do nothing. Actively encouraging soldiers to attend so that when Scaleswind is weak after the festival, they can attack knowing full well that his army would be defeated. His men were caught but he was free, until he decides to walk right up to Aphmau days later and introduces himself.

Kai is a coward who will choose the winning side, so why would he fight a goddess when he can make himself useful? Besides he is the only person who knows where Menphia's relic is. He was in charge of burning down the temples after all.

Went back and rewatched the episode. Realized Laurance doesn't even know the portal is fully opened. Got mad about it. Bone appetit.

I'm gonna start off the rewrite of this scene with some dialogue from the original that'll lead into the better version of the scene.

Bit of context, at this point Irena and Laurance are still together, but their relationship has become increasingly strained due to a mixture of the calling, Garroth being gone, the general horrors of MCD storytelling, and Laurance killing all those people at that wedding.

"I can't stand seeing people be forced to do something," Laurance expressed, running an uneasy hand through his hair. It was starting to get long again... "It reminds me too much of what happened in the Nether." His heart ached. "A-And it wasn't just me. Vylad, Zenix... Maybe even Vincent..."

"Laurance," Irena started carefully, hesitating before she put a hand on his shoulder. "I understand what you're trying to do. And my answer is yes, you may turn into a Shadow Knight in order to learn how to control it. But please... Please..." Her voice broke slightly on the second please. "Don't let your emotions control your actions."

"I-I'm sorry. I think I'm just... Off." His eyes drifted to the cave entrance. He could feel the energy present pulling him in. Calling him. It was stronger than it had ever been. He couldn't tell if it was because of himself or the portal.

"It's okay. Just let me handle it." She pulled her hand away, the warmth present from it evaporating in an instant. It left Laurance feeling cold.

"What, the portal? I-I've been to the Nether, I feel like I'm the best to assess it."

"Laurance, I don't... I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Because who knows if it's active or not--"

"You know." Irena froze. "You know because you activated it."

"Vylad told you?"

"He wanted to make sure I knew before I approached it." Laurance looked back to her, basically forcing eye contact despite the lack of need for it.

"I was trying to seal it..."

"You should know you can't do that."

"It worked before, didn't it?! I saw the wolves do it!"

"The wolves were trained to do it, Irena. Their elder was an expert in realm magic, that's why he looked after the portal. Don't you realize you put yourself in danger with a stunt like that? What if it had rebounded onto you and hurt you?" Irena looked away, even taking a step towards the portal.

"Still, I don't think it's a good idea for you to go to it."

"Don't avoid the conversation." Despite being blind, he reached perfectly for her shoulder, forcing her to stay even if she couldn't look at him. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I--"

"And don't tell me that you didn't think it was important." Irena went silent. "How long were you planning on lying to me?"

"...I wasn't lying to you."

"You just weren't going to tell me the truth."

"Laurance, I-I didn't want you to worry about it. I figured we'd come up with some solution eventually to close it--"

"And you thought I wouldn't want to help with that?!"

"We don't know what'll happen if you go near it!"

"Vylad said he was fine standing next to it!"

"But Vylad has 15 years of controlling this! I didn't want to risk you losing control if you got too close."

"If that's the case, why didn't you tell me you tried to seal it in the first place? Why didn't you tell me it got worse? What if I had gone in there and it started working on me before you could catch me?"

"But that wouldn't happen--"

"Because you'd keep me on a short enough leash."

"N-No, it's not like that--"

"Then what is it like, Irena?! What was your plan here?!" She finally looked at him. Sage green eyes stared back at her. Not a hint of red in them. This wasn't the calling or the portal pulling on his anger. This was just Laurance. Knowing that, she turned away, putting her hand on his.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." She removed his hand from her shoulder. "I won't stop you from going to the portal if you want to, but please, try to maintain control." Laurance took a shaky breath. He was tired of her running, but she wasn't going to stop. Not while they weren't home. He'd have to confront her later.

"How bad is it?"

"Vylad already told you everything, didn't he?"

"I'm not asking Vylad. I'm asking you."

"It's... Bad. Worse than any portal I've seen. The magic may not have rebounded onto me, but it did rebound. It's a portal large enough... for an army." Laurance sighed, stepping ahead of her, but stopping short.

"Next time... Please don't lie to me." She didn't respond. It made Laurance angrier. "Irena--"

"What?! What do you want from me? To lie again by saying I won't lie to you?!" He turned around in a fury. Still his eyes remained the same.

"I want you to feel like you don't have to lie to me! I-I want to have a conversation with the love of my life where I don't second guess what she tells me! How can I trust anything you say when you can't even pretend like you won't lie to me again?!"

Laurance's words echoed in the valley nearby. They echoed in his mind as they always did, as they always had since her first thought of them. Since he first found out from Vylad she didn't tell him. At first he gave her the benefit of the doubt, there was a lot going on at the time. Her focus was on the safety of her sons. But then... She still didn't tell him. And then she tried to keep him from it. How much was she going to "forget" to tell him before it was intentional? How much was he willing to tolerate?

The inability to answer those questions, the inability of both of them to answer Laurance's questions, it made him turn away. It made him walk away from her, even if he faintly heard a sniffle from her. It brought him just to the edge of the cave. He could feel the pull of the portal, like another person grabbing his arm and leading him to it. The hands even felt familiar. They felt like Gene.

Instead he turned away again. Took his stance outside the portal room with crossed arms and a furrowed brow. And even though he knew it wasn't necessary, even though he knew that he couldn't see her like this, he still narrowed his eyes at Irena as she walked into the portal room. He still glared at her when she left. He hated being angry with her, but it's all he could feel. It's all she let him feel when she tried to brush him off like that.

Irena's tendency to try and ignore unfavorable subjects was something Laurance was intimately familiar with. She did it all the time with Shadow Knight and Nether related stuff. She tried to focus on the positive and only address the negative when it was literally banging down her door demanding action. He remembered arguing with her over the chances of going to war with O'Khasis, how dismissive she was of the idea because she didn't want to believe O'Khasis would truly do that. He remembered the conversations they and Garroth had about this very issue.

The hope was that she would get better, that she would talk to them about serious issues, that she would address them properly with them. But ever since Lilian meddled in things, turned Garroth against her over a single instance, she seemingly regressed. Refused to talk to anyone about these issues unless they forced her hand. Laurance hated forcing her to do anything. He'd rather she feel comfortable just... telling him things.

That was the day Laurance started coming to terms with the inevitable fallout. Whether he wanted to or not, he knew that things were only going to get worse from here. He wasn't going to be able to be nice about this for long, and Irena always reacted badly when someone pointed out her shortcomings. What had once been a fun quirk of their banter was going to snowball into something capable of ending their relationship. He couldn't stand the thought.
