Love is back!

- A movie, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu Eternal Love, will be coming out in the winter of 2025. See the video here.

- The website has updated with new visuals. There are also comments from the Boueibu quintet and Mugihito (Wombat's VA).

- There's a new Boueibu YouTube channel.

- There is a browser game called Love Macho. It's a tower defence game involving both the Battle Lovers and Happy Knights. Some of the pre-registration gifts are Amazon gifts, as well as an SR Yumoto, 15 character lottery tickets and 1000 gems in the game. You can see the teaser video here. To pre-register, follow the official X (formerly Twitter), sign up at G123 and sign up at Line (all links provided in tweet).

- If you sign up for Line, you can get a wallpaper for Love Macho.

Update: There is also an English X account and registration page for Love Macho, but the steps to pre-register are the same for both languages.

At last! It is done! Turns out the season of delays is running long for me. Shit just keeps happening. Really annoying shit. So, unfortunately, there might be more time between updates.

You all may have noticed the backgrounds changed between parts. That’s because I’m getting bored doing the backgrounds. I like the way they looked before, but its no longer fun to do them and are really slowing me down. I find myself dragging my feet when it’s time to work on them. Sketching, coloring, and shading are all still fun. But the backgrounds are just, tedious. So I’m going to start experimenting with them to try to make them more fun. Bear with me while I figure out what style will work best for me.

Hitch fighting the Daydreamer, who is basically the core of ALL of his issues and a fight he set himself to finally do and end things once for good is him not just facing his fears but the ongoing rotten past of his family caused inherited ability of Daydreamer.

Hitch is set on being the last in the line.

And the fact that his story is him going from wish to just end his life to finding reasons to be around and not falling alone to his troubles and dangers but accepting help of others and carrying on just kind of boils down to this final moment.

So I started playing bug fables. It was on the winter sale and God forbid I finish a game before starting a new one lol. (Rw I'll get to you eventually I swear.) But honestly it's so fun I got thru the first chapter and I'm having a blast. I have some funny ideas so maybe I'll get to drawing them. Of course Leif is my fave tho.

themcore. i can go into heavy detail about why this song is, to me, about hallownest’s royals, SPECIFICALLY the vessels (or rather, ghost and holly) and hornet, but i wont. for the sake of this post, and also, you don’t seem to know much about hollow knight, so my rambles would make absolutely no sense. and spoilers!

to make it simple, ghost hates their father with a burning passion, at least in my au. they have so many daddy issues, and if their dad wasn’t already dead, ghost’d have his head as a wall decoration.

Very basic full scale shaping somewhat done. Messy, but I'm glad I did this early.

I had suspected that I would have to finagle some of the measurements from my original estimates, and I absolutely do.

Might need to take a few inches from the legs and add them to the torso. The leg is overly long rn. And far too thick, especially the thigh.

But given the sprites I worked off, I actually expected this to be worse off than it turned out to be.

Still a ways away from starting to develop an actual pattern, but this is good progress. I'm happy about that!

In this chapter I first run into recurring enemies: cloth and floors. I don’t know what to do for the floors. Just shading looks boring, but adding textures looks to busy. And here I am left in the middle full of hate. Fabric is always difficult. 

This is also my first attempts at mimicking the in game assets. I figured since many of the background items will appear multiple times in the comic, why not do what game designers do, and make reusable assets. So I used the game assets as guides for both design and color. I’ll be playing with this style for a bit.
