Love is back!

- A movie, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu Eternal Love, will be coming out in the winter of 2025. See the video here.

- The website has updated with new visuals. There are also comments from the Boueibu quintet and Mugihito (Wombat's VA).

- There's a new Boueibu YouTube channel.

- There is a browser game called Love Macho. It's a tower defence game involving both the Battle Lovers and Happy Knights. Some of the pre-registration gifts are Amazon gifts, as well as an SR Yumoto, 15 character lottery tickets and 1000 gems in the game. You can see the teaser video here. To pre-register, follow the official X (formerly Twitter), sign up at G123 and sign up at Line (all links provided in tweet).

- If you sign up for Line, you can get a wallpaper for Love Macho.

Update: There is also an English X account and registration page for Love Macho, but the steps to pre-register are the same for both languages.

Update 2: The SR Yumoto, 15 character lottery tickets and 1000 gems are for when Love Macho hits 50000 pre-registrations.

Found out how I can animate in capcut btw so there's a slight possibility I might be making lore animatics in the future

Or at the least I might redo Open Arms that I started and abandoned because I redesigned Flower and PK way too fucking much and if I had to continue animating with them I would tear my goddamn hair out and animating tweening frame by frame in flipaclip is an exhausting task that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. But now that I learned how to do it in cap cut I might actually give it a try

themcore. i can go into heavy detail about why this song is, to me, about hallownest’s royals, SPECIFICALLY the vessels (or rather, ghost and holly) and hornet, but i wont. for the sake of this post, and also, you don’t seem to know much about hollow knight, so my rambles would make absolutely no sense. and spoilers!

to make it simple, ghost hates their father with a burning passion, at least in my au. they have so many daddy issues, and if their dad wasn’t already dead, ghost’d have his head as a wall decoration.

Hi, I really enjoy your art and notice that you tag a lot of them as "A red thread AU" and I wonder what the AU is? What's the concept and story idea, stuff like that. If you've made any sort of summary or master post before hand I couldn't find it so I decided to come and ask for a quick summary here! If you do have a previous post that explains everything succinctly then I would be fine with you just linking it to me, I just don't want to scroll through the many posts you have to figure out what is going on. Especially because I use the app and the app likes to cut off when scrolling through a tag on a blog so I can't just sort on your blog for the tag to find everything because it cuts off. I really like your work and think I would appreciate it better if I understood what they were being drawn for!

oh! so sorry but no, i have no master post of it- but i'll happily explain!

the red thread au, A.R.T for short, is the hk story ive been building and figuring out for quite sometime, i never know how to bring it up so i dont, i fret, haha.

the au is about Hornet and pk, of the kindness i think pk has, (and anxiety) the mischief and connection Hornet craves, and the similarities i believe the two share- i focus on the joy they bring each other in my art.

if you want to know more of the story;

Hornet has absorbed much of her mother's biases against the higher beings and the other people of Hallownest. pk is incredibly alone and destroyed, busy due to the ever encroaching plague and caring for + training the vessel.

the two meet for the first time when infection attacks Deepnest, Herrah cannot risk hornet's safety, and begrudgingly sends her to the White Palace- Hornet is terrified of him, of everything, really. pk keeps distance, wishing not to bring her any more stress, its easier, especially with the battalions he must prep and send out to assist Herrah.

though the next day he finds that she is not in her room, nobody knows where she is, and potentially has not eaten- he takes it into his own hands, searching the palace, till finding her in a secluded room, hidden away.

she got lost, and gave up on eating, as the stress of potentially loosing her mother silenced her appetite, as well as the loneliness exasperated by this massive shift.

pk comforts- barely knowing how, having had shoved his own feelings down since the vessel plan enacted.

from there, over the days shes sheltered by the palace, they bond, learning of the palace, the city, dragging pk into games, pk being there to talk, and when she asked nicely, to tell a story.

when the separate, their missing presence is felt deeply, pk habitually knocking on her door, Hornet waking up somewhere she almost doesn't recognize. then on Hornet sneaks to the palace, until Herrah finds out of course, (and gets abandoned, dw bout it) and eventually shes allowed to visit.

Both human and non human Au honestly. There's nothing these two don't share. I mean Iceland literally has a designated side of Hong Kong's bed when they hang out. They swap outfits all the time. Hong Kong loves taking Iceland's phone and writing some of the most diabolical shit in the notes app ever.

Hacking and Firewall Besides traits, other details unique to digital beings are their attack and defense modes, with hacking equivalent to strike value, and firewall equivalent to defense value. These traits are abbreviated as HK and FW. Hacking, or HK, is used to engage other digital beings and robots, androids, and computer systems on board vessels or within installations. Digital combat occurs within the patch cable and port where the target entity has its physical body restrained or the attacker gets adjacent to the target CPU’s container or body. The defending unit might actually be more powerful than the attacker, and turn the tables and instead hack the aggressor — although even if defeating another digital being, either party need not occupy the CPU of the victim but instead merely fragment it or do other harm. Sometimes, wireless hacking attacks can be made, too, although this is a special app described on page 84. Once a target CPU is drained of data, and fragmented, the conquering digital being can flow into the victim’s CPU via a patch cable and claim its robotic body, or machinery, and assume it as its new body.
