IL MONDIALE DI RALLY DIVENTA ELETTRICO

Solo polvere e niente emissioni per i primi campionati del mondo di rally elettrico che si sono svolti a Hell in Norvegia.

Il lavoro di sviluppo per incorporare la nuova tecnologia nelle auto che erogano 500 kW, equivalenti a 680 CV, ha prodotto le nuove auto più veloci e potenti mai viste nel campionato del mondo.

Lo svedese Johan Kristoffersson è diventato il primo vincitore della nuova era del FIA World Rally Championship completamente elettrico e guadagnando così la 28esima vittoria della sua carriera, la prima su un’auto senza motore a scoppio. “È stata una grande sfida per tutti arrivare a questo punto e tutte le squadre hanno fatto un lavoro incredibile per essere qui. Con tutto che è così nuovo, c’è ancora molto lavoro da fare ma è stato impressionante vedere come le vetture hanno funzionato bene e impariamo sempre di più” ha detto il campione subito dopo la vittoria. Alla gara ha partecipato anche Klara Andersson, la prima donna concorrente permanente nella storia del World RX.

“Mi sento un po’ come un bambino a Natale, in attesa di vedere queste rivoluzionarie auto elettriche correre per la prima volta. Siamo stati molto chiari sul nostro impegno per un futuro più sostenibile e abbiamo lavorato instancabilmente verso questo giorno. Questo è un inizio totalmente nuovo per il World RX che trasformerà il panorama degli sport motoristici dimostrando l’eccezionale potenziale di questa nuova tecnologia pionieristica … sarà un’avventura straordinaria per questo grande sport” ha dichiarato Arne Dirks, Direttore Esecutivo di Rallycross GmbH.

22. do you listen to anything while you write?

I do because I can't stand sitting in silence! it depends what mood I'm in tbh because sometimes I'll just write to anything but then sometimes I can only write to instrumentals or specific songs.

I think I've called out these songs before for o&o, but these instrumentals are pretty good for deep and dark inspiration - Farewell Life (Arn Andersson), No Going Back (Tom Player), Bleeding Heart (Ghostwriter).

I also sometimes just listen to the end credits music from The Hardest Thing because ow.

28. how well do you handle criticism when it comes to your writing?

I think I handle it well enough. It's always scary to see someone give criticism to something you've created but if it's genuinely good advice or tips and will help me improve? Anytime I've had constructive criticism, I usually try and apply any tips or advice they've given to my next piece to see how it works because, well, I want to keep improving!

Body shifting and curling into itself as she forces one last cough out of her system, she runs a hand meekly through black dishevelled hair, eyes batting away tiredness as she carefully watches Anne – the movement only causing Anne’s heart to free-fall back into that black pit deep in her stomach. Not wanting to overstep, she goes to remove her hand from Marcy’s shoulder but as she does, a cold, clammy hand takes hold, grip weak but weaving fingers between fingers – filling a space, just like they’d always done.

I kept looking for someone, someone to hold me. As I kept breaking and trying to hold the tears in, I couldn't anymore. It was like something had broken inside me, and it wouldn't be fixed again.

I lay in bed and just cried, the most gut wrenching cries. The tears that I never got to release just kept coming out and I didn't try to stop them.

I had no one left. No friends or family and I did that.
