Graves’ and Nikolai’s S/O Gets Hurt Because of Their job

Graves: On the outside he may seem calm and collected, but on the inside he’d be seething with rage. However, he won’t show you how angry he actually is, keeping it all to himself instead. He needs to be the big, strong man in your relationship, so he needs to keep his cool in front of you, no matter what. I don’t think he’d be too surprised you’d have gotten hurt, though. While he may have hoped it would never happen, that was just wishful thinking. You’ll either be on Shadow Company’s medbay or in the best hospital he can find nearby. Either way, you’ll be well taken care of. If you’re at Shadow Company, then he’ll station some of his most competent and trusted people to take care of you for the time being. You will be protected by them, and you will get whatever it is you may need from them as well. Or anything you may want, really. No cost is too high for Graves while you’re in recovery. While he may try to make time for you as well, he really does, he will also have someone track down whoever hurt you. This person will then be abducted to Shadow Company for a rough time. Graves himself would take care of them, and he can be pretty effective when he wants to be. However, if you’ve recovered by then, and are among the more vengeful people, then you’re more than welcome to do as you please with the bastard yourself, Graves has no qualms about that. In fact, he’d welcome you doing what you need to do. An eye for an eye. I think he’d become a bit more protective of you afterwards. If you’re okay with it, then he’ll leave you in the hands of some of his Shadows since he can’t always be there for you. If it was up to him, he’d combine you with his work and have you just live on base with him so he could always keep an eye on you, but you likely wouldn’t agree to that. It may seem a bit overbearing, but he will reach out to you more often and does expect you to respond within a few hours, or else he’ll get worried and send someone to check up on you, even if you’re alright.

Nikolai: While Graves may be furious, Nikolai is entirely calm about all of this. Yes, you got hurt, but seeing him panic would likely only worsen the state you’re in. He is well aware of the fact that you will pull through, he made sure of that himself. However, he won’t do anything drastic until you’ve recovered completely. That way your perpetrator has enough time to kill themself before he has to take action. Naturally, you mean the world to him, so any violence against you will not be excused. Nikolai runs a PMC, so he knows what he’s doing, he knows how to deal with violence. Violence for violence is the rule of the beasts and Nikolai’s cruelty is akin to that of a starved animal. However, that can wait until you’re alright again. He’ll visit you every day, even stay at the hospital, and bring you gifts, tell you stories and keep you company otherwise. But he won’t mention the plans he has for the sorry fuck who hurt you, those are for him to know and for you to never find out. Once you’re home again, going about your day, he will seek out the bastard himself and drag him to some place in Siberia. As mentioned before, Nikolai can be cruel when he wants to be, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he let that person run aimlessly around Siberia for a few days, hunted down by him and his people, only to capture and torture them later. Death is a kind of mercy that is not for them, though, so he’ll keep them alive for the time being. They almost took you from him, there’s nothing they could ever do to make up for that. They’ll be a new chewing toy for Chimera until they die for one reason or another. Nikolai won’t get too overprotective, but he will be keeping a closer eye on you. He won’t station one of his people in front of your home when he’s away, but he will try to make more time for you. Calls become more frequent and he will try to find some excuses to spend more time with you, even if it’s just by video chatting with you when you have the time. He won’t freak out, but he won’t forget about that incident either.

#cod #cod x reader #phillip graves #phillip graves x reader #cod nikolai #cod nikolai x reader #I was thinking about wanting a request for Graves again not too long ago so this came at an ideal time #they're both very powerful people who are also war criminals and not afraid of breaking every law in existence #so yeah they'll have their fun with whoever hurt you #thinking about an angry Nikolai scares me so bad actually. he'd be so calm and quiet and that's just the most terrifying thing to me #if you're in an especially bad condition then I think Graves would become more strict with his Shadows #he knows he shouldn't be like that at work but he can't help it since he's just that worried about you #he's usually a fun and caring boss but he'd become very different when you get hurt #of course he'll go back to normal once everything is alright again but you being hurt would hit the Shadows pretty hard as well #I like to think he does talk about you to his Shadows so they definitely know who you are #and just by hearing about you most of them would like you as well. especially because Graves loves you this much and they like him a lot #so I think a lot of Shadows would also grow protective over you and I think that's so very sweet #I always liked to think that the people at Shadow Company were very close with each other #especially because Graves is a good boss and makes sure the work climate there is ideal. despite the war crimes #Graves is actually a pretty fly guy in my eyes. he's just cocky but he does worry a lot about his Shadows and you deep down #he loves his Shadows and he loves you too

Wednesdays used to be my least fav day of the week but i now replace that with Monday

#in therapy we identified that maybe my work life affects my sense of happiness more than i thought #it really just takes 1 coworker with no chill =m= i hate micromanagers #hes the kind of person who tells you lots of contradicting things and gets angry over small things #im like his new target that he gets angry at and always nitpicks at. it used to be someone else #and he gives me contradicting orders all the time so its like im always gonna be wrong????#“dont focus on overstock. Always prioritize checking dates”#or “dont focus on checking dates. Always prioritize overstock”#or “mark things down whenever gou can” to “dont mark things down anymore” ?????#he just annoys me and hes weird (legit weird.) and i hate him. and i could rant for paragraphs but i wont lulz #anyways mondays I have to work 8 hrs with him. i really dont like him. goddddd. i had a freak out last week but uh. it got him off my back #i usually use “gray rocking” i just give little answers and nod my head but he kept accusing me of not checking dates (i do!!!)#so i freaked out a lil bit and frantically shlwed him alllllllllll the shit i marked down. it got him off my back it was funny #gotta be hysterical sometimes to get ppl off your back rather than just be a quiet stone that absorbs negativity #its weird bc growing up the “be quiet and say nothing” usually gets ppl off my back but #i guess in my work situation gotta have a small freak out to get ppl off the back LOL. embarrassing but it worked #i dont wanna resort to that tomorrow. god i hate people who micromanage and never see the good you do as an employee. they only see the bad #its never “wow she keeps the department well phased and stock and checks dates and even cleans the units”#just “hmm what small thing can i make a negative comment on?”#or give orders just for the sake of giving orders iykwim #normally i can deal with it but when its ALL day... for 8 hrs.. bruh. i h8 mondays okay

me age seven being sat down in front of the school’s district child psych lady and being given strange, simple spatial puzzles to solve and then long, complicated worksheets and hammering my way through them at the speed of light while having zero comprehension what their purpose was or why i was here: this is urgent! i have to get a good grade in Weird Puzzles, Or Else, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve,

#kjalkjsdalkjasdl mrs button was a nice lady but not one adult in my childhood ever seemed to notice what to me now seems like #a pretty obvious case of the autisms #then again maybe they just didn't look as hard unless it was *really* obvious back then . it was like. what. 2000? a couple years later #everybody was talking about autism but not when i was six or seven then it was usually just when it was Very Visible #a couple years later my cousin who's more visibly on the spectrum than me got her diagnosis so young that she's pretty much always had it #which is...well i think it's just made her life difficult in a different way. people underestimate her or don't treat her like she's her age #but then she's always had the opportunity to get accommodations and people are sometimes more forgiving when she can't do something #whereas i got labeled 'kid that should be ahead of the game' from a pretty young age and then when i struggled adults either ignored it #or it was just a huge hassle to them and even i could see it exasperated them to have to work around me #but because mrs button (nice lady but what were you thinking) hadn't told them to treat me like a kid with a developmental disorder #they didn't do that in good OR bad ways . so i never got any accommodations with school stuff i struggled with which was a fair bit #i wasn't supposed to need extra testing time in a quiet room or tutoring with math or help organizing my abysmally scattered things #the only time i DID get that was in sixth grade when i was sort-of friends with this kid jonathan who was Very On The Spectrum #he wasn't really a talker unless it was about whatever he was reading which suited me fine so we just kind of existed in each other's space #and his TSS was this very smart and nice lady who had clearly clocked that Something Was Going On With Me and even though it wasn't like #her JOB she made a little bit of time for me. mostly with emotional stuff (i think i was under the impression she was a therapist?)#but if i had some problem with being unable to keep friends or being frozen out by the kids i wanted to be liked by (happened often)#she'd be able to just like. be there she'd make the time . wish i could remember her name

walking in to rephrase my thoughts from discord but i was just thinking about tiger getting checked up by his ripper n yknow one could consider tiger a 'borg in cyberpunks terms sure hes not super insane looking like smasher, he likes looking human and theres almost an art to having all these enhacements and reinforcements all neatly tucked away for no one to see yes you have the obvious visible cyberware on his face, his body, the tail but its nowhere near as extreme as you see elsewhere at times, hell, look at someone from maelstrom

all in all he looks.. tame, very stylized sure but you might not exactly expect this all going on in there

#theres definitely a humm to him when its real quiet and you rest your head on his chest #would usually hear the cyberware idling #n sure... something to be said about cyberpsychosis or what have you but i think the way its done in lore is kind of. lame #i like to imagine it with alittle more nuance #highly dependant on the person and how fast you install it all #i think after a certain point yes your body or mind cannot handle any more but theres more fun ways to show this #that arent just super murdering everyone #tiger is a big guy without all of that tech. hes built and healthy so i think that sets a higher baseline #more space to build on and more options to push further up #without him being in any danger #and all of this cyberware was installed gradually over years with his ripper's watchful eye #making sure it all works #doesnt conflict or affect tiger negatively #and yea i admit it. its overpowered perhaps. but im playing touys and if theres someone like smasher looking like that being perfectly fine #well. tiger is allowed #tiger #my ocs #i also think its just a fun aspect to have this mechanical noise alongside the organic heartbeat

AND LET'S NOT forget when he tells v they earned their silver slippers, comparing them to dorothy and when asked about what role he takes he claims to be the narrator, who is third-person omniscient, which means he thinks he is and probably is all-knowing, even of things he "shouldn't"/isn't expected to be aware of.

Back with the Train Chatelaines and Battle Maison twins.

Imagining a scenario where the twins visit Unova to try out the Battle Subway and somewhere in the middle of everything all six of them just end up chilling and talking about trains and such.

The time comes for a train to depart, and the four Chatelaines all give their own version of "All aboard!" as they like to do when they're together -- Morgan has a steady and strong voice, Dana has excellent volume but sounds aggravated, Evelyn is the quietest and has an unsteady voice, Nita's voice is loud but high because she hasn't quite mastered projecting from her chest yet -- before turning to the twins and saying, "now you try."

The twins glance at each other.

Ingo takes a deep breath.

Emmet plugs his ears, and the sisters are confused for all of two seconds as to why.

i was playing with one of our newer little boys today and out of nowhere he went "oh no! you have a booboo!" and grabbed my hand to show me a stripe of red marker on my finger 😂❤️ it was so sweet! he also later in the day gave me a coloring page he did and told me "this is for you teacher! and see what this says here?" and pointed to some scribbles along the side of the page and i was like omg what's it say??? and he goes "it's your name! because it's for you!" and it was so cute that i didn't have the heart to point out that i don't think he even knows my name yet 😂😂
