Welcome to Demon School! Astre-kun
Tumblr media
So, for a while now, I had this idea for a crossover between Black Butler and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (both manga).
***
In this AU O!Ciel’s real name is Astre Phantomhive and his backstory remains the same as in the former manga up until the moment where a demon is summoned through a portal made of blood. In this version the being meant to be Sebastian is a renegade from the latter manga’s Demon World who went back to his primal origins and was constantly hunting for souls to eat from the human realm. Unfortunately for him, at the time he responded to Astre’s and Ciel’s captors summoning a demon, he was spotted and subsequently chased by Sullivan who was looking for him.
In the cult’s chapel both demons started fighting. All of the children in cages, besides Ciel, and the cultists who didn’t escape fast enough, got killed by rampaging renegade demon despite Sullivan’s efforts. Ultimately only Astre remained alive to witness their full fight. Ultimately the renegade overwhelmed by Sullivan’s strength fled away.
The remaining demon effortlessly freed traumatized Astre and did his best at comforting him given the situation. Took the boy outside so he wouldn’t see all the corpses and blood anymore and get some fresh air. Then they started to talk. Upon learning that all members of Phantomhive household were dead and Astre’s remaining family wouldn’t be happy that he, the spare, was the one who survived and not the actual heir, Sullivan asked him to become his grandchild (as it was one of his deepest dreams to have one). Astre at first wasn’t sure, but then, after processing everything, came to a grim conclusion that aside from that offer there was no other way to go and if Sullivan’s promises of being spoiled for the rest of his life were lies and this demon would ultimately eat him, then so be it. Astre agreed but under the condition that Sullivan will prepare a proper burial for Ciel. Of note is that in this timeline Astre didn’t take the ring out of his brother’s stomach. After the funeral Sullivan burned the cultists’ temple for good measure and then took Astre to the strangeDemon World.
***
I have more headcanons for this AU, so I might post them in the future, but for now that’s all. I probably should write this as a fanfic, but that would be challenging, especially given the tonal shift between both manga. That's why I imagine this version of Sullivan more serious during the most dramatic scenes, eager to give Aste some much needed comfort.
As for the drawing, I made it back in 11.2023. Astre’s school uniform is a cross between Iruma’s nad O!Ciel’s clothes he wears as a noble.

One of my favorite parts of Welcome To Demon School Iruma Kun is that everyone gets a chance to shine not just the major character and it's not just one half of an episode or two episodes in the spotlight and then shoved back to the background. *Cough* Assassination Classroom *cough*. And you root for them and want to see them develop and become better because they feel real. Also in Assassination Classroom the whole school apart from the main class freaking sucked and we barely got to know any of them. Just that they hated the Class E and thought that they (the other classes) were the best and Class E was trash and scum. And not to mention the principal got that cop out backstory that made him actually WORSE IN HINDSIGHT BECAUSE ESSENTIALLY HE WAS SAYING THAT BECAUSE OF HIS FAVORITE STUDENTS TOOK THEIR OWN LIFE THAT THERE SHOULD BE ONE CLASS FULL OF STUDENTS WHO SHOULD JUST LAY DOWN AND DIE BECAUSE THEY'RE THE STAND INS FOR THE BULLIES THAT DROVE HIS FAVORITE STUDENT TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN. Like dude I get it it's sad that it happened but you're a monster. Also it was weird that he had his students' phone numbers and would personally call them.
Ikr I love how each character gets attention and no one is fogotten. Honestly assassination classroom was super bad at that. I can't even remember any details/personalities of the other students aside from karma, nigisa, kayano and Kuro-sensei.

For day 11 of the event, I used number 4 from prompt 5 for Ameri from Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun! I hope everyone enjoys, my lovelies 😊
Tumblr media
One getting home from work later than the other and stretching out on top of them like a big, lazy cat while they sit on the couch in front of the tv:
Your eyes scanned the last page of your book and you smiled as you finished the last sentence. You’d been stretched out on the couch, having a wonderfully relaxing day off. You set your finished book aside on the coffee table, your eyes going to the clock on the wall. You hadn’t realized just how late it had gotten and your eyes narrowed, your smile turning into a slight, worried frown. Ameri really should have been back from work by now and you wondered what was keeping her. You forced yourself to stay relaxed on the couch though. You remembered how much she hated it when you got super protective and forceful about it. She always said it felt a bit like you were patronizing her, as if you didn’t believe she could take care of herself. While she blushed when you did it, and blushed even harder as she admitted that it was nice that you cared so much about her, she had always insisted that you must learn to trust her and her capabilities.
Five minutes passed and you picked up your phone, checking for any messages from her and fiddling around in your mind with thoughts of calling her. At ten minutes, you’d navigated to and away from the new call screen about a million times. At fifteen, your body was aching from the effort of keeping it on the couch, from the effort it took you not to get up and go out looking for her. Your body hummed with tension. You didn’t mean to be overbearing, but you worried so much about your precious girlfriend. Ameri was, and had always been, right from your school days, someone who always took too much on herself, who always pushed herself to be the best and you had always been filled with fear that someday she might just push too far and leave you alone. The anxiety in the quiet of the house was already starting to eat away at your brain, your body insisting it needed to get up and run to find her even as you made it remain on the couch.
At eighteen minutes, the sound of the door opening and then shutting was a joyous sound. Your body started to relax the second you heard the click-clack of Ameri’s heels on the floor of your shared home, and the fog in your brain quieted when you saw her face. Even though Ameri looked displeased about something, the fact that she was home just made everything better in your world.
“What’s wrong, my love?” you asked her with a slight smile. “Tough day at work?”
“You could say that. I’m fine though,” Ameri replied, trying her best to fake a smile. You could always see through her though and you shook your head, smiling up at her while you sighed.
“You always were the worst liar,” you gently chided her before patting your chest. “Why don’t you come over here. Maybe cuddling and telling me all about your day might help you feel better.”
Though the frown didn’t entirely disappear off her lovely face, which you could see the slight blush on, you could see the slight hesitation and obvious excitement in Ameri’s eyes and the way her body language changed. After some hemming and hawing, some more insistence that she was fine, she was moving towards you anyway. It was always this way and in the moment Ameri straddled you on couch before shifting into a comfortable cuddling position, her half laying on you with her head on your chest, your limbs all tangled up together, words already starting to pour out of her, you could feel the last of the tension go out of both of your bodies. Yes, being home together always made things better.

The Alef Part 2
“(This is my first fanfic for the series Mairimashita Iruma Kun. The manga and anime are S-tier and everything is super wholesome. About this Fanfic, I hope to make it as a Sullivan’s daughter reader insert/ Iruma’s mom insert, Iruma being adopted in his earlier years, and getting to meet the Teacher trio while they’re in Babyls (Opera, Kalego, and Balam).
As a first time writer, I thought the concept would be a fun challenge, staying in line with character archetype and canonical lore and plot, whilst putting a new take on headcanons from my favorite fanfics for Iruma-Kun. But, I also understand if (if anyone reads this at all) it’s not to anyone’s taste.
I’m still learning how to write “well” or how to tell stories, so this is very much a work in progress and what I hope will be a lot of fun to try out! TLDR: First fanfic, tips appreciated (including grammatical ones), my heart is soft and squishy pls don’t hurt me.

Part 1 ; Part 3 ; Masterlist)
_____________________________________________
(Ah, before we get to the story, just wanted to mention that everything here is on the side story manga Kalego Gaiden (can be found anywhere it’s really cute and funny). That’s where I’ll get most of the plot to insert the reader aside from backgrounds/characteristics given to reader. It’s also where height and personality of young Kalego, Balam, and Opera (and anyone else that comes along) will be derived from. It’s an 11/10 story from an 11/10 series. Yis.
Shameless plug: if you want more info about reader’s bloodline magic, feel free to read the description in my other post “Return from Origins”)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘Hmm, powerful magic… and brute strength. What outstanding kids... and… hmm? Where’d they go?’
Opera briefly glanced around before noticing the third demon tip toeing for the door.
“Just a moment now…”
You felt your heart drop as you were lifted by the scruff of your uniform.
“I-I…”
“That was an interesting trick. Why’d you do it?”
You’re set down with the other two and you turn your head to look up at the top dog.
“I just… I thought if I did this… not-gang a favor, I could leave sooner… and eat, I’m hungry.”
“Hmm? You mean this?” He has your bento.
“Hey… c’mon now…”
Clearing his throat, “Ahem, you guys are interesting. Since one calls himself the guard dog, his will to protect this school aligns with my desire. I’m Opera, I would like you three to help me... or rather... I order you to.”
“WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU.” Came the fierce response to your right.
‘I just wanted to eat my lunch...’ Cries internally.
The silver haired demon could only sweat drop at the chaos.
~~~ Later ~~~
Ding Dong
You’re FREE! Finally! Now to go home, do your homework, eat more food, maybe a bit of house cleaning, and finally some peace and quie-
Ironically, fate would not leave you along as you trip over a certain avian demon.
‘Shit.’
Both of you could only groan, you from bashing your chin on the ground, and him from being kneed in the head.
“Oh. It’s you! Are you alright?” He asked.
“Y-yeah, sorry about that...”
“...”
“...”
“Well, see you around I guess...”
“Wait.”
‘Noooooo. Lemme leave, I’m sorry, Delkira have mercy.’
“Why’d you lie?”
“Huh?” Yes, brilliant, wonderful, such grace, much eloquence.
“When Opera-senpai asked you why you covered for us, why’d you lie? Surely this would only bring you more trouble now that you’re associated with Kalego-kun and I.”
“... I... couldn’t really think of anything else on the spot... I really did just want to eat my lunch.”
“Hmm?” His ears were ringing... but it didn’t seem like you were gonna tell the truth anytime soon.
“My ambition is to survive but I guess my actions don’t really reflect that...”
“...”
“Ah, sorry, I’m talking too much I need to go now.”
“Hey wai-” but no sound came out.
In fact, it seemed eerily quiet... and no matter what he did there wasn’t anything to hear.
~~~
It wasn’t any surprise that you would say something like that, demons are naturally selfish creatures. If you were truly looking out for your own it was understandable if not dismissive for any other possible reason.
If only that were the case.
The way home was better walked than flown, and taking great care you made sure that your leave of the main road was unnoticeable, turning instead into the woods. Not that it was ever noticed in the first place but it was whatever.
And you eased your pace only when you entered the muted section of forest you called home, unlocked the door to your empty house, and promptly plopped on the couch. Yes, this small muted lot of land, and the house, were the last things your clan left to you before disappearing into thin air.
You were young... errr... younger when it happened. And you speculated that, maybe you were too loud to stay with them as a child, then again all demon children were... Your clan was one that taught silence early. They were also a more nomadic clan, since they couldn’t hide their physique (like the Purson clan), they opted to remain on the move. This was greatly assisted by their bloodline magic and resonance with the wilderness.
And still... you didn’t like to think of why you were left behind, just knew that you had to get stronger quickly so you could... could what? catch up? continue waiting? No, for now you needed to maintain the muted zones around the house, who knows how much longer they’d hold.
So you get up and you do just that, imbuing the zones with your mana, and ensuring your home’s security. (Most predators preferred not to enter where they’re deaf and dumb, unable to hear and unable to call for help if needed.) You were grateful they at least left you this place to return to and impressed that their mana had yet to fade, but better safe than sorry.
Yes, this is how you lived for the past four years. Safe, quiet, alone...
Homework time!
Dismissing the sad and intrusive thoughts, you move onto something more productive.
_______________________________________________________
(Yes reader is a sad and lonely child, a little like Iruma but they’ve come to take it in stride... ish
Will Reader come to terms with the new people in their life? Qill they become closer to Balam, Kalego, and Opera? Will they continue to go on without a guardian?
Find out next time on, The Alef)
Hello dear mutual of mine just wanted to ask a random question again (hope you don't mind) what is your favourite manga in this time period and why? (Aka I'm fishing for recs ok? You have really great taste!)
hmmm....
It's a tie at the moment between Osamu Nishi's 'Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun!' and Yuu Morikawa's 'Mr. Villain's Day Off'!!
Welcome to demon School Iruma Kun! because it has, for me, a good balance between action, school day growth, teen self-discovery and deep seated political drama! We follow the titular Iruma-kun on his journey in the demon realm as a human recently adopted by a grand demon! The story is all about Iruma gaining confidence, friends and most importantly learning that being selfish isn't always a bad thing. That and also a massive conspiracy about dead/missing demon kings; terrorism and elements of what I'd say are thriller!
That and the fact that the main cast is mostly made up of a full class of students and it's amazing how the class are all a found family (that feels REALISTIC and CONSISTENT) but are also allowed to be individual characters with their own interpersonal relationships and ideals/wants that are never pushed aside for plot convivence or in service of the main characters progression. I also hold a special place in my heart for the love trio (the CANON) name for the main trio of the cast and they're (canonically) self-proclaimed soulmates who just love each other and its like it doesn't have to be specified if its romantic or platonic because they love each other and that's what's important!!
And Mr Villain's Day Off because it's just so fucking funny. Need a silly fluff piece with unexpected jabs of angst that still leave you with the feeling of 'oh there is good in the world'? wrapped up in a power-rangers parody??? Well, this is for you. We follow the 'general' a member of an alien race who are trying to invade the earth and take over; destroying all humans in the process who are stopped by the Rangers which are literally just the power rangers but for copyright reasons aren't called that. As the title suggests however, we only follow him when he's off duty and it's a very (ironically) humanising piece and shows our MC seeing the beauty of Earth and human life! He has doubts every so often about his mission because of this and its fun to see his thought process!!
We also occasionally see from the Rangers POV who are very confused about the fact that apparently their alien enemies have... enforced workplace routines?? And mandatory bureaucracy?? Also the GENERAL (implied to be the one who they mainly go up against/at least meet/ know is behind most of the things they deal with) has a hard line that if he's not paid he's not fighting them and won't intentionally hurt animals. They also see that he's a *person* because for instance he finds out that the Red Ranger has a very glaring weakness and could take him out with it but simply doesn't... which is cool of him?
There's also a recurring plot line with actual spirits and cherry blossoms etc that i won't spoil but is so simultaneously sad and fluffy!!
--
Also I know i told you last time but I really, really don't mind questions!!!
Welcome To Demon-School, Iruma-kun Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date: Devilishly Pure
Tumblr media
Everyone is enjoying the Harvest festival, and the students from the misfit class are specially working their buts off. But I wonder how Kalego sensei's favorite Iruma is doing? Before we consider it further, here is a cream of the story till now. After their heroic efforts at Walter Park, the misfit students return to Babyls Demon School after their summer vacation. Aside from adoration and admiration, they will also be shocked to learn that the entire class must be promoted to Dalet rank before entering the second year to remain in the elite Royal One classroom. The Harvest and Music Festivals are just around the corner, so there are plenty of opportunities to rank up. No class has yet been able to accomplish such a feat, but doing so will not be easy. To help the misfit class succeed, the school hires special tutors to help them overcome their challenges. To rank up, Iruma Suzuki decides to gain recognition from his special tutor, the short-tempered and selfish Bachiko Barbatos.  Welcome To Demon-School, Iruma-Kun Season 3 Episode 5 Recap Each of the Misfit Class' special tutors took a very different approach to train their little darlings, and while Balam did not necessarily view his method as particularly harsh (that's just part of his charm), Sergeant Fur Fur understood what exactly he was doing to his boys, and that makes him easily the most demonic of all the demons we have encountered. What kind of monster takes high school boys to a club, spends huge sums of money on them, and then sells them to pay for it? In one sense, Fur Fur is doing what exactly he says he's going to do: he's a demon, and he looks like a stereotypical demon. For ease of reference, his shirt (we'll call it that for ease of reference) even says "disaster," so he can't be accused of lying. Kalego, however, tends to do the somewhat kinder thing when it comes down to the wire, something Fur Fur seems incapable of doing. Finally, we know for certain why Iruma is the protagonist, the rest of the cast is good, but without Iruma to balance them out, they're just not as much fun as they tend to be. Welcome To Demon-School, Iruma-Kun Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date And Time I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills Episode 7 will release on November 12, 2022. for your consideration, trans!Asmodeus
-was raised as a girl for the first few years of his life till he realized being called a girl was uncomfortable and proudly announced one day to his mother that ‘I’m a boy’ and that was that on that subject
-he loathes his first name cause it’s a girl’s name but he hasn’t changed it out of some sort of misplaced pride or something, which is why he’s still saddled with it despite hating it. his family are the only ones allowed to get away with calling him ‘Alice’
-literally none of his friends call him Alice and always some variation of Asmodeus or Azz and he’s fine w/ that
-he stopped showing his tail as a boy simply cause no tail is less likely to raise any questions (as plenty of demons have small/nonexistent tails) than him wandering around with a bubbly heart tipped tail(typically a ‘girl’s’ tail so would be a bit unusual to see on a boy).
-the only ones who actually know about this are his family (or at least his mom and David. Viole and Lily look young enough that they’ve probably only ever known him as a boy). none of his friends know because he’s never felt it prudent to tell them cause it’s not, really anyone else’s business?? (I could imagine him telling a future significant other at some point tho)
-side note but, evidently the crossdressing as a devidol didn’t bother him /that/ much given that he was 100% ready to do it again to join Iruma during the Devidol games (and would have if his mom hadn’t stopped him lol) so. he’s not about to do it often tho
For the Sake of a Smile--Chapter Six
Title: For the Sake of a Smile-- Chapter Six
Fandom: Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!
Summary: Hell on earth was your motto for your job. Granted, you were pretty sure earth really was hell, considering the shit you had seen. And the fact your coworker was a child. Suzuki Iruma, in fact. A kid who’s life was decidedly worse than yours, but smiled despite everything.
And you’d do a lot for his smile. Including summoning a demon and signing your life away.
But as it turns out, hell (The Netherworld, actually) was a lot better than living on earth. Demons were more humane than a lot of humans you knew.
And Iruma’s smile wasn’t the only one that would change your life.
Short Five| AO3 | mairimashitai! Simps Discord
Sullivan was, surprisingly, a decent teacher. He was calm, patient, and able to explain things in a way you could understand when you asked questions.
"Algiz is a simple protection rune," he said as he drew the rune on the board, which looked rather like a 'Y'. "If you don't have time for a more elaborate sigil, it will suffice as a basic shield. But usually it will not withstand more than one attack at a time."
He then drew a rough-looking 'n'. "Uruz will boost your endurance and strength for a short time, depending on how much mana you put into it."
"I don't have any," you reminded him with a frown, pausing in your notes. Even though he had given you a few books on runes, most of the language assumed the reader knew the basics of magic, which you didn't. "That's why we're doing this."
There was a gleam in his eye as he leaned forward. "You have it, it's just much harder to control. Human's mana is much different than our own. While Demons can direct and shape our mana with a simple thought, humans mana simply is. It cannot be molded or transformed."
You waved your arms. "Then how am I supposed to use it?!"
"You will need to learn that yourself," Sullivan replied with a smile. "Now! The next rune you should know is Kaunan in case you need to attack!"
---
There were books stacked on the large wooden desk in your room, along with an assortment of paper and pens. You carefully traced the simple glyphs and sigils while focusing on the meaning behind them.
Magic was after all, mostly about intent and imagination.
There was no way to explain how you were doing it. Like…a new state of mind when you were creating the sigils that changed them from symbols into… magic. And then it was using a muscle you hadn't known existed, leaving you tired, shaky, and exhausted.
Your phone dinged, and you happily took the opportunity to take a break. You weren't the least surprised to see it was Balam; he was the only one to text you besides Iruma, and he was off with his friends. //How's studying going?//
//slowly. Though I've memorized a handful, using them is a different story. Now just a couple hundred left, and then merging them into more complicated patterns. -.-//
//Runes are one of the more complicated forms of magic// Balam agreed via text. //But Lord Sullivan is right. You need to know how to defend yourself.//
You sighed and rubbed your eyes, exhaustion catching up with you. He was right, as was Sullivan. If Walter Park hadn't proven that, then the chaos afterwards did as the Netherworld paparazzi went after Iruma - the 'Hero of Walter Park.'
You could still easily remember the throngs of reporters trying to break down the doors of the mansion. You were as powerless against them as you were against the magical beasts.
And while there were runes used to hide one's identity, that was too complicated for you. Besides, Iruma had nearly jumped at the chance to stay with his friends to 'hide'.
You pushed those thoughts aside as you leaned back in your chair, more focused on your phone. //Anyways, how are you? Ready for the next semester?//
//As much as I can be. Training on top of my usual work will be a challenge and not leave much time to myself.//
Your slight smile faded as you remembered him saying something previously about the special training he was being assigned. Apparently the Misfit’s had shown so much promise, Kalego convinced Sullivan they needed specialized training to push them to their true potential. Which, apparently, included the challenge of having the class reach Daleth, or Rank Four, before the end of the year.
Balam had either volunteered to be one of the special instructors, or Kalego had volunteered him for the position. You still weren't sure on that. But either way, it meant he was probably going to be too busy for the long conversations you enjoyed.
//I'll be sure to remember that, I don't want to add even more work for you.//
There was a pause as Balam typed for several seconds with brief pauses, making you curious as you waited for him to settle on a reply. Usually he was only like that when excited about some tidbit of information from your realm and couldn't figure out which question to ask first.
Finally, despite the wait, he answered with a short-ish sentence. //I enjoy talking with you. Please don't ever hesitate, even if I'm training.//
You bit your lip and smiled. // Well, if you insist. I do enjoy talking with you…//
Studying was quickly forgotten as the topic shifted to the birds you had been watching through the window when your eyes needed a break. Balam, it seemed, was all too happy to take a break from whatever he had been doing to tell you everything about the Strix, including an appetite for fresh blood.
---
The new semester started and with the Library now organized to your liking, you had started pet projects of creating study spaces in the grand hall that housed your department. Tables with straight chairs, or cushions gathered in small cubby-like spaces.  Places you would enjoy if you had been a student.
You were going to need projects like that along with your Rune studies to keep entertained the next few months. Last semester, the Misfit Class had seemed to live in the library near the end of the semester, which had kept it lively, to say the least. However, now they were all busy with their special tutors - including Iruma.
You were happy to see him so passionately determined once more to prove himself, though worried about some of the things he was doing as 'training.' Mostly they seemed like errands, though he was certain it was some sort of special training. You weren't so convinced.
The students you saw the most were now Sabnock and Asmodeus when you took the occasional side trip to visit Balam after school. The biology teacher had acquired one of the more cave-like classrooms in the depths of Babyls and was there with his two students every free moment.
“Is this, like, a normal demon thing?” You whispered as you watched the two teens spare against each other, looking both half dead, and exceedingly stubborn. “Have they really not gone home since you started training?”
“I admit, it’s not quite typical,” Balam answered, settling next to you on the cold stone floor and using a straw to sip at the tea you had brought from the kitchens. “But, from what I’ve heard from the other tutors, nothing is typical with the Misfits Class anyways. Like iron, they need to be strengthened and refined by intense fire.”
You glanced at him briefly. “... you know, you’re one of my closest friends, but I have to admit, I’m glad my dad doesn’t share the same teaching methods as you.”
Balam chuckled as his hand rubbed your back, right where the ache was located from constantly hunching over books. You fought back a hiss of pleasure as his thumb carefully dug into a knot. How did he always know where you needed to be massaged? “Runes and fighting are two very different subjects. You’re essentially learning a new language and a new way of thinking. Whereas with these two, I’m trying to refine their inherent skills." He paused, tilting his head slightly. "Speaking of inherent skills, how is Iruma doing?”
Everytime Balam had asked the question previously, Asmodus faltered in his sparring against Sabnock. His attention instantly would snap to the small table where you and Balam sat, and allow Sabnock an unfair advantage.
Today, he didn’t even seem to hear, which you mentally praised the young demon for. Even Balam glanced at Asmodus, and beamed when he realized the demon hadn't been distracted.
“Well, he said the other day he needs to figure out what kind of bow he wanted,” you finally answered. “Not a strong one, or one to protect, but a unique one to fulfill his goal -- whatever that means.”
“Well, the Barbatos family is known for their unique sharp-shooting abilities. Not many demons have the patience to become archers - but I’m sure Iruma is well suited to the task.”
“Patient, determined, persevering no matter what’s thrown at him? That sounds like my boy." You smiled fondly, recalling all the times you were near your wits end back on Earth, and he would determinedly help you out. "I never thought I’d see the day when he’d become ambitious as well, but here we are.”
“I am eager to see how the class as a whole does with the upcoming Harvest Festival.”
You smiled fondly, leaning into him a little more. “Me too, I overheard some students talking about it. It'll be fun to actually be a part of something for once.”
Balam froze. He… hadn’t even thought of that. All of Babyl’s faculty were expected to help out; between managing the collection stations, rescuing students, and dealing with the consequences of the students getting in over their head.
But you? In the forest? Magicless, powerless, in a forest filled with things that could easily kill a demon, let alone a human?
While Iruma had proven himself that he was anything but weak and powerless. Balam wasn’t confident about your own ability. If anything, he was convinced of the opposite after seeing you so tired after conjuring a few runes.
He leaned in closer so the students wouldn't overhear as he quietly asked “Are you sure that’s a wise idea?”
"I've been assigned to help tally points between the different teams. I'll be stuck at the main tent, and likely never stepping out." You tilted your head back and reached up to pat his mask reassuringly, though your positions made it slightly awkward. "I'll be safe, I promise."
Balam slumped with a sigh, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, pulling you close so he could rest his head on yours. "I don't mean to come off as overprotective. I just…"
"You know how… different I am," you finished for him, at ease in his embrace. "And you worry, like a good friend does."
Well, that was sort of true. But he mused if now was a good time to explain that demons didn't quite have 'friends' to worry over, and decided it probably wasn't. After all, he wasn't even certain how to label his feelings, so how could he explain that in concepts you would understand?
------
A few weeks later, and the harvest festival was a chaotic mess; one you were happy to stay out of… mostly.
The forest itself was overgrown, with the crowns of the trees so tightly knit together barely any light filtered through, giving it a gloomy foreboding aura. Despite the lack of light, the place was filled with various flora and fauna you had no names for, but knew they would love to kill you given the chance.
Needless to say, you were happy to stay in the main tent, working on cataloging everyone's points. It was mundane work, taking the tally sheets that the different stations turned in and updating the student’s records. But it was also vital, making you feel rather included for once.
It was also nice to be around the other staff more, many whom you had only seen in the halls maybe once or twice. Where your desk was situated, you were easily able to listen to Suzy and Dali’s commentary, and keep an ear out for updates regarding the Misfit class.
Their remarks on Iruma and Lied familiarizing themselves with the forest didn't surprise you too much. Iruma was rather skilled at surviving in the wild; there had been times he had left the factory for a week or two because his parents had decided gathering wild herbs and mushrooms were more ‘profitable’ than the fishery. So, oddly, you were less anxious about him camping in the foreboding forest than you were about him going to an amusement park for the day.
However, your worries settled on the fact that he and Lied were treating it like a relaxing camping trip, and had ended the first day with absolutely zero points.
You were near-fuming as you looked at the monitor set up near the buffet table, taking a break from the bookwork. You had kept an eye out for his name, and had started to wonder if maybe someone else was keeping his score in fear you would tamper with it, but the monitor confirmed your fears. Zero points. “I know patience and endurance is a major component,” you growled to yourself more than anything. “But for hell’s sake, Iruma! You can do better than this!”
“He may still catch up,” Balam offered as he appeared beside you, startling you slightly. How could he be so large and move so silently? “There are still three days left.”
You huffed and crossed your arms. “I know, but still…. Zero? Literally everyone else has at least a few hundred!”
“True, but only a few have adapted like him and Lied. Already a fifth of students have withdrawn, and that number will only rise through the night. I think that we could probably see nearly a quarter withdrawing by morning.”
You hadn’t realized it was that many, though you had known the majority of the teachers were out saving students who weren’t prepared before nightfall made the forest even more deadly. You were proud to see most of the Misfits had found a place to camp for the night, safe and secured with each team holding a couple thousand points each.
Well, nearly everyone was settled for the night, except two certain students.
“Az and Sabnock are still going pretty strong, and they already have over fifteen thousand points," you looked up at him and gave him a little conspiratorial smile as you nudged him lightly. "I bet you’re pretty proud.”
The change of topic made Balam smile rather bashfully under his mask, which you could tell just by the expression in his eyes as he looked away, scratching his neck as it turned pink. “A little,” he admitted. “Though, I’m disappointed Asmodeus reverted to using his evil cycle so early, but Sabnock pulled him out just as I instructed. Even if they don’t win, this event will strengthen their skills significantly. Honestly, this is an excellent opportunity to test their skills on the battlefield while still providing a controlled environment.”
He was totally proud of his students, and it made you smile as he continued to discuss the pros and cons of the events and his thoughts on his proteges’ progress. And honestly, you could've easily stayed there just sipping at tea while listening to him talk, except you noticed the pile on your make-shift desk was quickly continuing to grow while people came and went.
After a moment, Balam noticed your expression wilting as you stared past him, and looked to see the towering stack. His hand found yours, squeezing lightly to catch your attention. “I’ve kept you long enough, do you need help?”
Your smile returned, though looking more tired than anything. “Nah, it’s the only way I can contribute. Besides, I’m sure they could use your help out there with the students.”
He looked towards the chaos and sighed himself. “You’re right," he paused for a moment before almost shyly offering: "Perhaps we could enjoy some tea together afterwards? Once you're caught up and the chaos has settled?”
You felt your face warm as you nodded, “I’d love that.”
----
When someone dropped papers on your desk, you didn’t look up anymore. There was no time as you crunched away at the numbers, desperate to get a handle on the pile before morning broke and the students started their hunts once more.
However, when the delivery demon didn’t move, but cleared their throat, you finally looked up. Momonoki smiled, though there seemed something rather… mischievous about it. “How are you doing?”
“Uh, good?" Honestly, you were exhausted, and knew if you were extremely lucky, you might get a few hours of sleep before the morning came. But, you were more curious about why Momonoki was making conversation when you barely had said more than a word to the other teacher since you started. “Uh, how about yourself?”
“Oh, you know, same old, same old,” she waved before leaning closer, her smile growing even larger. “So, I heard a rumor from Raim that Lord Sullivan said that you and Balam are courting.”
Courting? Your mind blanked for a moment before frantically making the realization of what she was implying. Courting. Dating.
You and Balam. Dating.
"W-what?" You spluttered, your face becoming red-hot. "C-courting?"
"It's so cute!" She squeed, pressing her hands to her heart. "Granted, Balam is quite… odd. Okay, he's very odd, but still! A forbidden romance in the halls of Babyls!" She sighed almost dreamily, lost in her own inner world and oblivious to your growing plight. "The mysterious unranked daughter of the Great Lord Sullivan, returning with an unclaimed child to her father's home! And then the fearsome White Gargoyle of Babyls, who finally found someone to look past his flaws for the demon beneath. And then trying to keep their love hidden from society because they know how much everyone would disapprove of such a match! It's a love story fit for a novel!"
You couldn't even think of a response, just stare blankly as her words sunk in, your mind trying to reconcile her words with reality.
A forbidden romance. Unclaimed child. Disapproving society. Secret love.
You.
Balam.
Momonoki took your stunned silence for something radically different as she winked, a finger pressed to her lips. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me! As long as you share the juicy details later, you lucky devil!"
You gaped as she left, still giggling to herself as she returned to the forest.
 Courting. Balam.
Yes, you could admit you had a crush on him. Hell, you’ve had one virtually since you first met him. But you had tempered the emotion, suppressing it. You were intent to just be happy as friends, because you were different species. There was no way he would be at all romantically interested in you! Not when he sometimes acted like you were some rare exotic creature he was studying.
And now there are rumors going around? Perpetuated by your own adopted family?!
You just wanted to find a hole and hide. The rumors were going to go around the school like wildfire, and how were you going to face him, or anyone, after that?
Welcome the Demon School, Marinette!
Because I’m bored and you’re here. Presenting a Miraculous take on Iruma-kun.
_____________________
It was shaping up to be the worst day of Marinette's life.
She woke up late. Again.
This only happened because her alarm didn’t go off. Which was because said alarm was in her phone, and the battery had died. And she had no time to charge it.
The small lizard that she had been taking care of the past couple weeks had disappeared that morning with no sign of where it had gone. She was worried her parents may have found it or that it could have gotten lost somewhere.
She got to school just on time, only to be tripped and have her belongings scattered across the floor (much to the snickers and commentary of certain observers who of course did nothing to help), forcing her to take time to collect them all and resulting in her actually being late to class.
Lila was regaling the class with some new and most likely completely made up story as everyone seemed to gather around her and stare at her in wonder like she had hung the stars (and given their gullibility, Marinette couldn't put it past them to not fall for that if Lila HAD claimed it). Marinette quietly shuffled past them and slipped into her seat in the back, feeling the weight of their cruel glares and mocking smirks. All in all, an indicator that Lila's takeover of the class and even the school was still in effect. The only thing that saved her from any biting or passive aggressive comment was the teacher starting the lesson.
Except then she learned that her homework had been one of the things to fall out of her bag, but one of the items she had failed to recollect afterwards. The fact that Lila presented a project that just "happened" to look exactly like hers and even had the name smudged out and replaced with her own clearly meant nothing as far as the teacher was concerned.
This resulted in a failing grade for Marinette, and any attempt that she made to argue were quickly shot down as Lila pretended to cry at the "horrible accusation" and the teacher proceeded to lecture Marinette in front of the class for trying to steal credit for another student's work. Marinette's evidence (which included pictures and video of herself making the project at multiple stages of the process, pointing out the smudged name, or her own scraped knees from when she fell earlier and the project went missing from her bag) meant nothing and was disregarded as the teacher forced Marinette to apologize for something she hadn't done before sending her off to the principal's office.
Which resulted in her being suspended for "continued bullying" and sent home to her no doubt ready to be disappointed parents, who seemed all too willing to believe the worst in their daughter based off a liar they barely knew. Not that Marinette was bitter about that or anything. (Lie. She totally was.)
She trudged home in dismay. And as she made the walk of shame from her school to her home, much to the snickers and cruel comments of her former friends, the upturned noses of her teachers who once believed in her, and Lila's own smirk at yet again getting another win over the poor girl, Marinette could only ask herself:
"Can my life get any worse?"
Which clearly turned out to be the exact wrong thing to say, because yes, in fact, it could.
As Marinette soon discovered when she was kidnapped by a demon.
"Wait—WHAT?!"
Introducing one Jagged Stone. A Demon Lord of the Demon Realm. Well known for his wild appearance and unusual style, even among demons. He was popular. He was eccentric.
And he was apparently Marinette’s new guardian as of today.
“Wait, wait! I’m sorry—WHAT?!”
“Just call me Dad. Or Uncle Jagged! Oo, I like the sound of that. Uncle Jagged! Yeah, call me that!” He told her, not really seeming concerned with why she would have reservations about this entire thing, how sudden it was, or the fact that she was a human who was not only being faced with the prospect that demons exist, but that one had officially claimed her as a ward.
“No wait, can we back up to the part where I’m adopted now?” Marinette questioned, confused and frustrated and just shy of freaking out.
“I thought that was rather clear.” Jagged stated, grinning widely and outright spinning with glee. “I’ve always wanted a kid! And now I have one! Thank you, Fang!” He turned to the crocodile-looking creature hovering nearby.
“Of course.” It replied—and okay, the thing could talk.
Jagged stared at it teary-eyed before hugging it—him? “You’re the best familiar, Fang. Finding me the perfect child to spoil and eventually become my heir.”
O…kay…
“But…I have parents?” She tried to interject weakly, still confused about all of this.
“Oh, we’ve taken care of that.” Jagged explained vaguely, waving it off.
Marinette’s eye twitched. “Meaning…?”
Please don’t say they’re dead. Please don’t say they’re dead. They may not have trusted her and she may be unhappy that they believed Lila over her, but she didn’t want them hurt. His other demonic assistant, apparently named Penny, answered. “You are now officially the ward of Jagged Stone.”
“Isn’t it great?” Jagged grinned.
Well, that was…not completely horrible, at least.
Still, it begged a question.
“I’m a ward of a demon? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?”
“Well, if you remember…” Fang started.
Marinette sighed pitifully as she stared out a window.
“Oh, how my life is horrible and filled with pain and sadness! If only there was a magical demon familiar to rescue me and take me somewhere rock and roll.”
With a poof, a much bigger and scarier looking Fang appeared and grinned down at her.
“How fortunate for you, for I happen to be a magical demon familiar!”
“Le gasp!” Marinette exclaimed in shock.
“And as I am very grateful to you for taking care of me, I shall happily take you with me to a better place and destroy your enemies. Not necessarily in that order.”
Marinette clapped gleefully.
“Yay! Do that! Blow up that evil institute of learning and fry everyone inside! And then eat my parents because they're jerks who tried to smack you with a broom and flush you down a sewer drain.”
Fang smirked.
“Certainly!”
And thus Fang flew off to destroy the school and devour everyone inside—
“Okay, I’m pretty sure that’s not how it happened.” Marinette exclaimed dryly, interrupting the amusing and clearly wish-fulfilling fantasy.
“Well, it could.” Fang replied. “If you want me to, I can.”
“NO THANK YOU.” She exclaimed with a shriek before getting her emotions under control. “Just…why? Why me?”
The demonic crocodile-like familiar floated in a circle around her. “Well, it made sense. Jagged wished for a child to become his heir. You wished for an escape from your life. And you were quite helpful to me when I had been injured, proving yourself to be a human of kindness and honor. If anyone was to be worthy of being taken in as my master’s fledgling, you seemed most deserving.”
Well, that made her blush.
Wait…
“The lizard that I’d been caring for? That was you?”
Fang smiled and nodded.
Jagged rested a hand on the creature’s head and smiled at Marinette. “I have to thank you for looking out for my little Fangy. Who knows what could have happened to him all alone in the human world. Isn’t that right?” He spoke to Fang directly in a rather baby-ish voice as he nuzzled the creature.
Fang nuzzled Jagged back. And…okay, this was kind of cute—crazy situation aside.
“I’m…honored.” Because she was, strangely enough. Craziness and kidnapping aside. “But I already have parents. And a life.”
“Not a good one.” Fang growled out in irritation.
Jagged nodded solemnly. “Right. Fang told me all about it. Your school sucks. Your classmates suck. Your parents…” Seeing her unhappy expression, he coughed. “Well, they’re taking a liar’s word over yours. All in all, it’s been incredibly un-rock and roll. You definitely deserve better.”
“Well…” She trailed off because yeah, they weren’t wrong.
The demon smiled. “Which is why we’ve erased their memories.”
“WHAT?”
“This way, no one will question your disappearance!”
“WHAT?!”
“So this way you can stay here without having to worry about anyone trying to find you! Isn’t it great?”
“WHAT?!”
______________
Things that would follow may include but are in no way limited to:
Demon Miracuclass. (Meaning Alya, Nino, all of them are demons in the demon world Marinette will be befriending and not Marinette’s former human friends whom shall remain nameless extras).
Otaku Adrien (aka: a secret human fanboy because of course he would be).
Flower demon Rose.
Mermaid Juleka.
Siren Luka.
Kwamis as teachers.
Plagg as Fluff Fluff. And abusing it to get out of work. (Tikki: DAMMIT PLAGG!)
Gabriel still being horrible.
Lila exiting the story after chapter 1.
And more!
Personalization Prompt #2 – Eternitas
Using the second personalized prompt for Lou over @eternitas! Again, this is a grade A human being who brings a lot of support to this blog, so thank you 😊 And I hope you enjoy!
BLACK: what face claim from an anime, comic book, or cartoon do I associate with you?
Tumblr media
Honestly, as with a lot of my followers, I really do associate you with your pfp! I don’t know who they are, but putting them aside and really thinking about it, I guess the closest I come to a face claim that I picture as you would have to be Haruka Tenoh from Sailor Moon! I feel like you have a very androgynous look, plus they give off the same sort of elegant vibe, the smile, and the colouring I imagine for you in my head, if that makes any sense.
WHITE: what flame type and box weapon do I think you’d have in the khr!verse?
So, I don’t know which of the personalized prompts will come out first, just due to the fact that I do shuffle the queue every time I add a new post to it, so not even I know when anything is coming out. Due to that, I will say that, as you’ll see in the other personalized prompt I did for you, I strongly headcanon you as a Lightning Flame type with secondary, weaker Rain Flames. As for a box weapon, I do strongly imagine a Lightning Bear box as your box weapon of choice, particularly a black bear. Going just with the symbolic meaning of bears as spirit animals, they tend to represent strength, protective power, courage, motherly love and care, healing and protection, an affinity for solitude and well developed powers of introspection and a strong grounding influence and I don’t know how to explain why, but a lot of those really do feel the vibe I get from you!
RED: what aesthetics do I associate with you?
Stars shining brightly against a pitch black sky, tracing the patterns in them with a fingertip. Hands on a video game controller, smiling and laughing and being so eager to see what happens in the game next. True love. Honesty, being true to yourself and your values. Choosing kindness. Theatre curtains falling on a stage, the audience applauding and standing. Creativity and passion. La vie boheme. Good food, conversations and laughter and memories made with friends and family at the table.
BLUE: what are three songs I’d put on a playlist for you?
TRUE TO YOUR HEART, 98˚& Stevie Wonder – this one has totally become very much something that reminds me of your love story you’ve shared with me between you and your partner 😊
PIANO FIGHTS, 65daysofstatic
WALK LIKE A GENTLEMAN, eye alaska – both of these two just fit vibes wise, without taking into account the lyrics. They both have an energy combined with some very soft and relaxing vibes where both songs make you wanna be active but make you smile and untense at the same time and that fits – you always make me smile and get excited to reply and do things!
YELLOW: what fictional world out of all my fandoms would I picture you in?
It’s definitely KHR. Not only is KHR just such a huge fandom and a universe that I love, so I of course imagine all my readers in it at some points, even if it’s not the fandom we share, but KHR is probably the fandom we talk about together the most! If I’m not picturing you in KHR though, then I’m picturing you in K Project for obvious reasons!
GREEN: who would I pair you with out of all my fandoms?
In KHR, it’s Gokudera. In K Project, it’s Seri. In Nanbaka, it’s Hajime. In Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!, it’s Opera. In Bungou Stray Dogs, it’s Fukuzawa. In Servamp, it’s Gear. In Saiyuki, it’s Sanzo. In Eyeshield 21, it’s Rui. In Ronin Warriors, it’s Sage. In Kekkaishi, it’s Masamori. In GetBackers, it’s Kazuki. In Black Cat, it’s Saya. In Karneval, it’s Gareki. In Gangsta., it’s Constance. In Bleach, it’s Urahara. In Naruto, it’s Suigetsu. In Deadman Wonderland, it’s Nagi. In Ouran, it’s Mori. In Durarara!!, it’s Shizuo. In Yu Yu Hakusho, it’s Touya. In Gintama, it’s Gintoki. In Mystic Messenger, it’s Saeran. In Ikemen Revolution, it’s Luka. In Blush Blush, it’s Volks. In Date Warp, it’s Alben. In Hatoful Boyfriend, it’s Yuuya. In The Outsiders, it’s Ponyboy. In Class of the Titans, it’s Odie. In Ultimate Spider-Man, it’s Peter. In Gravity Falls, it’s Ford. In The Covenant, it’s Pogue. In The Mighty Ducks, it’s Julie. In Jungle Fury, it’s Casey. In Ninja Storm, it’s Shane. In Mystic Force, it’s Vida.
PURPLE: what gif reminds me of you?
Tumblr media
PINK: if you were an AU, what type of AU would you be?
Oh, this one was hard because there were so many thoughts! In the end, I do think it would be a crossover AU of some sorts, where the characters from a fandom are set into another more fantastical or supernaturally themed world, and I do think there’d have to be a real grittiness and heaviness to the story contrasted by sparkling light hearted and cute moments that make you laugh and smile. Those light moments to me really reflect who you are to talk to, how accepting and fun and interesting you are, but the heaviness and dark themes give great nods as to how you’re never afraid to really tackle the serious topics with the respect they’re due.
RAINBOW: if i were to write a khr sequel, following Tsuna’s demise, and could only use my reader’s as characters, who would you be?
I do see you as being part of the Vongola. A competent Lightning Flame user, you’re not only a good strategist but part of the information network of the Vongola, a sort of master of disguise who uses their well-honed acting skills to become different people as situations call for it, doing the fieldwork as a spy and gathering important intelligence for the family.
A Follow Up Post for the English Voice Casting of Mr Osomatsu
Click here for Part 1
Tumblr media
Okay so I'm doing a part 2 cause the last post didn't mention all the best roles Billy, Ray, Sean, Kyle, Michael and Max did as voice actors.
First up is Billy Kametz as my personal favorite, Osomatsu. What roles has he done? How about everybody's favorite pretty boy delinquent with the stylish hair, Josuke Higashikata from JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable. Like isekai? He is Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero. Love watching anything by Studio Trigger? He's the number 1 firefighting idiot, Galo from Promare. He's also Anai from Aggretsuko, Macaque in Monkie Kid, Rui from Demon Slayer, Dr. Maruki from Persona 5 Royal, Nenji Ogata from 13 sentinels, Asmodeus Alice in Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun and Ferdinand Von Aegir from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Next up is the totally painful cool Karamatsu (and Dekapan), played by Ray Chase. Interestingly enough, he does a couple of Nakamura Yuichi's other roles, one of them being Bruno Bucciarati from JJBA: Golden Wind, He also does Ryoumen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, Roswaal L. Mathers in Re: ZERO, Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV, Puri Puri Prisoner in One Punch Man, Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer, and for those who like Smash Bros, he does the voice of Roy from the Fire Emblem games. (He also did the voice of that subway announcer in Persona 5)
Next we have Sean Chiplock as the nerdy straightman, Choromatsu. For those unfamiliar with his work, he did the voice of Subaru from Re:ZERO, Ishimaru and Monotaro from the Danganronpa franchise, Shin from Dorohedoro, Kazunari Takao in Kuroko's Basketball, Daewi Han in God of Highschool, Frankenstein in Noblesse, Revali from Zelda: Breath of the Wild and my favorite role he's done, Mista from JJBA: Golden Wind! I'm so glad he was chosen to replace the old actor, I'm much more familiar with his voice work anyway.
Oh boy, we got another talented voice actor that's had a lot of great roles. Kyle McCarley is the voice of our favorite emo cat boy; Ichimatsu, but you might also know him as Mob from Mob Psycho 100, 9S in NieR Automata, Ei Sekigahara in 13 Sentinels, Kusuo Saiki from Saiki K. Reawakened, Shinji Matou in the Fate/Stay Night, Simon from Infinity Train, Ryo in Devilman Crybaby, Yushiro in Demon Slayer, Collot in Beastars, Red Blood Cell in Cells At Work: Code Black, Red Son in Monkie Kid, Narancia in JoJo's Bizzare Adventure and a bunch of more roles. If only the last two were major JoJo characters.
Well, Michael Sinterniklaas did appear in Jojo in a minor role towards the end of part 2. Aside from playing as the goofy and loud Jyushimatsu, he is also the voice of Mikey Simon from Kappa Mikey, a teenage mutant ninja turtle named Leonardo, Funshine Bear in Care Bears, Dean Venture from the Venture Bros, a show I recommend for those who like adult comedies like Mr. Oso. Aside from cartoons, he's done a lot of anime stuff too, some of it goes all the way back to the 90s with his first role being Ataru Moroboshi in Urusei Yatsura. He's also Netherlands in Hetalia, Sora in Naruto Shippuden, Moritaka Mashiro in Bakuman, Dagger in Black Butler: Book of Circus and additional voices for a LOT of anime. He's probably a background character in your favorite show, like JoJo's, Naruto or One Piece.
Last but not least we have the only actor that hasn't done anything in JoJo, Max Mittelman. That's fine, because aside from the cute two-faced Todomatsu, he's also the laid-back hero for fun, Saitama from One Punch Man. He's also Ryuji Sakamoto in the Persona 5 games, Tee in Puyo Puyo Tetris, King in Deadly Seven Sins, Meruem in Hunter x Hunter, Kousei Arima in Your Lie in April, Plagg in Miraculous Ladybug, Ritsu Kageyama in Mob Psycho 100, Atsushi Nakajima in Bungou Stray Dogs, Resasuke in Aggretsuko and the list goes on.
There that's about all of them, I'm sorry this post took so long. But I was busy with other things, so taking the time to make this post was gonna take a while. But I'm glad I made it because now everyone can learn more about the english voices behind these brothers the way I did with their seiyuus.
headcanons for the useless/annoying ghost vestiges au??
I love this AU so much
- Ive mentionned it once but Oboro haunts Kurogiri, mostly just commenting on his shitty parenting of Tomura as if he's watching a bad TV show because no one can hear him. His life is like watching a bad spanish telenovela or a cooking show and screaming at the people that no dont do that its stupid as shit and they still do it.
- AfO is also haunted by a bunch of ghosts who's only goal are to inconvenience him in the slightest way possible. They are either good friends with the OfA ghost crew (in the "same hat" kind of way) or there is some kind of stupid rivalry between them (like two differents group of kid at holidays camp).
- There exists other ghosts but like the Ghosts show they mostly just haunt one place in particular, the reason for the ofa ghosts (and oboro and afo ghost) haunting a person is because of quirk bullshit (also it might be the OfA users are unable to move on until Afo's defeated)
- While the other ghosts are busy thirsting over Aizawa, Nana has a crush on Ms. Joke. (And maybe Midnight as well).
- When they start living at the dorms the other 1A students realises how weird Izuku truly is, like they knew he had his weirdness, but then they realise that "oh, he really is haunted". At least one of them try to actually communicate with the ghosts with advices from google. The ghosts may or may not decides to go with it for fun. Tokoyami is very supportive of Midoriya's ghosts friends.
Send me an au and i’ll give you 5+ headcanons about it
how funny
would it be if like, Shouto decided he doesn’t really want to be a hero but still somehow pass the recommandation exam (even though he doesn’t really want to) and on the first day, when Aizawa is like “I’ll expell the worst one” Shouto is just like “I know the best way to spite my father” and purposely fail
at some point Aizawa straight up put him aside like “if you don’t try better than this I will expell you” and Shouto just say in his best deadpan “oh no. what a shame. i seem to have lost all control of my quirk. oh no. guess you’ll have to expell me now.”
follow a comedy of Shouto trying to get expelled/regularly ending up “expelled” in gen ed, while Aizawa wonders what the hell is wrong with that kid while Endeavour keep breathing down UA’s neck about Shouto
