Good morning 🙏🏼

I want to thank everyone their support with reblogging my stuff over the years and reblogging some of the context of the situation.

Tumblr and Instagram is filled with the most supportive people I’ve ever had the chance of meeting. The last time something like this happened, I didn’t have much support, not even from people I thought were close to me. It took me a year or two to be okay with being perceived again in fandoms. So I’m very grateful for everything.

I just wanted to post that I appreciate all of the asks and I’ve been reading all of them. I actually get anxious I’m spamming everyone too much so I probably won’t reply to everything. Please don’t feel pressured to support me financially, there’s is a free option on patreon to follow. I’ll post future project plans and occasional updates because I still love comics and I still love DC/Marvel. I do enjoy having people following along for my art/reading journey so I would always be okay with people just following for free. My brain is telling me this post is too long now so I will go 🙏🏼😭

Mohammed Atalah (@atalah-mohammed). His story is here. Technically, he was not explicitly vetted, but his post was shared by @/90-ghost, so I will put it here. His father is sick, he has six sisters, as well as issues. He is also injured himself. His gfm is at €15,621/82,000 and has only progressed 2,473 euros in the last two weeks. He still has 66,379 left to raise.

Mohammed (@help-mona). His story is here (Mona is his daughter). Similar situation as before where his campaign was shared by @/90-ghost but no explicit verification. His family consists of his mother, sisters, nieces and nephews, his wife and his daughter. Multiple people in his family are now sick. The gfm is at €8,030/185,300 and has only gotten 3,201 euros in the last two weeks!! That's 177,270 euros left to raise.

Ola Ahel (@olagaza). Her story is here and she is #205 on the google sheet. Her family consists of her parents and her four siblings. Her campaign is at $44,824/50,000 and has gotten $13,490 in the last two weeks! She is only $5,176 away from her goal!

Fidaa (@fidaa-family2). She is Wafaa's (the previous campaign listed) sister and has also had her campaign shared by 90-ghost. She is married and has two young children, including a two month old. She is at $24,484/30,000. She has gotten $8,548 in the last two weeks. Only $5,516 left to raise!

Ahmed Abu Al-Rish (@ahmadresh). Shared by 90-ghost here. His story is here. He is trying to continue his education outside of Gaza. His previous goal was $10k, but is now $31k after considering fees and bank cuts. He is at $12,439/31,000. I think the reason people are so obsessed with “consequences” for Macaque and whatnot

Is that the show+fandom are VERY harsh on Wukong and constantly beat on him for the unintentional harm he causes + tries to make up for

So when Macaque hurts people on PURPOSE for fun and gets treated with kid gloves by fans+narrative+writers

It kinda grinds down his fans, who want that Wukong vitriol to be also Macaque vitriol

yeah that’s fair. While some of animosity towards Wukong is justify (immediate example I can think of is when Wukong kept the secret that Mei was actually technically one of the rings of Samadhi from the others) and Wukong is quite far from being a perfect angel, I do think the way the fandom and the show at times unjustly vilify Wukong and make him seem like this awful mentor for MK is unjustified.

and I think that is something that could have strengthened Macaque’s ‘redemption arc’, that despite his help during the fight against LBD and his old friends, he does need to continue to do better in order to gain the trust of others (also again would’ve been really nice to see characters like MK, Mei, and even Tang be at least kinda bitter towards Macaque).

my point is more having the narrative beat Macaque over the head with how he was such a terrible person he was in the same way the fandom and show do to Wukong still does not equate to a good redemption arc, for either of them, it just more feels like the audience/writers expecting them to give an apology tour if…that makes sense. /gen

Upon my arrival to the Rayman fandom not to long ago, I very quickly found a lot of Transfem Raymesis propaganda (especially bigender Raymesis, which honestly fits him so well-)

So I just wanna know your thoughts on it, and if it's a headcanon of yours too or not!

Personally, it not my headcanon, but I can see it and support it! I think Rayman’s bigender then Raymesis, but I won’t harass anyone because of it

That man has no concept of healthy relationships, so I can see a lot of Finnick’s relationships with the other victors easily blurring a lot of lines and not being anything so neat as romantic vs platonic. which means honestly yeah, i can see him ending up with pretty much anyone. would it be healthy? probably not. is his canonical relationship healthy? absolutely not. I do think he has very codependent tendencies and wants to be needed very badly, and based on what we know of the other victors’ personalities, I don’t think most of them would tolerate that. so there’s actually a lot of really interesting potential there.

!!! Fantastic question that gives me the perfect excuse to draw more Soundwave!!

So short answer: they used to!

Long answer: he’s missing a good half of his face. They’re not an empurata victim though in my depiction, they just.. have been at war for about four million years now and shit happens lol, they got a little blown up is all. Wore a visor and mask sometimes before the war still, just cause it likes the anonymity, but it made the visor and mask a full-time habit after taking all that facial damage and almost getting its head blown off. The head trauma is not why they’re mute though! He’s just always had a defunct voice box, it’s never worked to make more than little clicks and static, purely just a random genetic mutation.

A Soundwave pre and post facial injury! The Decepticons didn’t have the resources or personnel to fix that kind of damage so they just did as much of a patch job as they could and moved on. They basically cut out the unsalvageable plating and patched up the lesser burns underneath. Soundwave’s lost a lot of facial mobility as a result of all the finer components melting together but tbh that wasn’t a big change for him, he was never very expressive to begin with.

So tldr he can kind of get a kiss kiss! They’re just not likely to have enough fine motor control over what’s left of their face to reciprocate much. I don’t think Jazz really minds though, she’s the touchy-feely type and Soundwave is more of an acts of service type so I think they have an understanding of each other’s preferred forms of self expression.

They kiss like this and as per usual it makes Soundwave look like kind of a freak from an outside perspective lol
