My favorite magic types are my beloved esoteric postmodern spells which use our greater understanding of the universe to it's advantage.

two examples:

Biomancy: very good for shapeshifting, artificial enhancement, and creating food. It's always fun to create a fucked up homunculus every now and then. Just don't create a cancerous growth on the land that devours everyone and everything in its path!

Atomkinesis: always great to have an alternative way to do both kinds of thermal magic! The Pyromancers and Cryomancers are fuming because they learned an obsolete school of magic that is outperformed in every way by atomkinesis! Also it has some great non-lethal spells, such as power word: sunburn, which irradiates the skin of your target to give them a rash. Or cancer.

Most Powerful Mutations

Sapiens always want to know what the most "powerful", hardcore mutations are. It's like, one of the top three questions I get on a daily basis (the other two are "are u contagious" and "do u know magneto omg"). I'm defining "powerful" here as "able to do things that shift the very fundamentals of our universe and/or have very few limitations". This list overlaps quite a bit with the most rare mutations, which is why most people think of one or two key figures when these mutations are mentioned. So without further ado, here is one mutobiologist student's top ten most powerful mutations (in no particular order)

Vocifery. The first three on this list are all related to the same general effect: reality manipulation. Vocifery is defined as the ability to control, change, or warp reality through speech. For example, saying "let there be light" and an area being flooded with light (I'M NOT SAYING GOD IS A MUTANT THIS IS MERELY A WAY OF EXPLAINING THE MUTATION). In all cases documented, the speaker must present the changes as commands in order for them to take effect. There is no record on whether or not sign language commands also produce effects.

Mentifery. Often considered "true" essokinesis (reality manipulation), mentifery is the ability to control, change, or warp reality through thought alone. General thoughts are not often manifested (like thinking, I wish you would go away), unless the user is in considerable duress. Usually thoughts need to be actively focused on in order to manifest. Unlike vocifery, they do not always need to be phrased as commands. Legion is the only known mutant to have fully manifested this mutation.

Essokinesis. The umbrella term for all reality manipulation. Mutants with this power who don't have vocifery or mentifery warp reality through movement, drawing, or a combination of actions. While the Scarlet Witch has demonstrated both vocifery and mentifery, she is most known for her skill at general essokinesis.

Atomkinesis. Anyone ever heard of The Phoenix Force? Yup, classic example of atomkinesis. Essentially telekinesis at its most extreme, those with this mutation are able to move atoms with their minds.

Gravikinesis. Pretty much exactly what it sounds like, gravikinesis is the control and manipulation of gravity. A milder manifestation of this mutation is flight which is fairly common, to the more extreme manifestation of being able to create a black hole. Xorn, whose gravikinesis transformed his head into a miniature star, is the most studied example of this mutation.

Electromagnekinesis. No, I'm not just putting it on the list because it's my mutation! Electromagnekinesis can come in two forms: control over the electromagnetic spectrum of light, and control over the same spectrum combined with magnekinesis. Because the range of control is so broad and includes some of the fundamental forces of existence, there is potentially no limit to this power.

Chronokinesis. Unlike its counterparts, chronoportation and precognition, chronokinesis is the manipulation of time itself. The most common manifestation of this mutation is Time Bubbles, pockets of space where time is slowed. When the comic book character Superman reverses time by flying around the planet, that is also chronokinesis. Some speculation exists as to whether super speed is really a form of chronokinesis, based on mutants' descriptions of how they perceive the passing of time. There is no recorded case of fully manifested chronokinesis to date.

Telepathy (certain forms). Telepathy, while treated as a singular power, is actually more of an umbrella term for a wide variety of mind-based mutations. The two most potent are the ability to stop the movement and thoughts of others, mimicking time control, and puppet mastery, which is the control of another’s mind to the point where the telepath can make them do or say whatever they desire. Charles Xavier is a master at both variations, though he rarely uses the latter.

Mutatikinesis. One could say this is the mastery of the very essence of mutation. It is the ability to manifest any mutation or adaptation. Though mutants with this ability cannot control which mutation will manifest or when, it seems to be directly tied to the amygdala's fight or flight response. Therefore, the body will mutate however it is needed to deal with a stressor. Darwin is the best known example of this incredible power.

Power Mimicry. Power Mimicry is highly variable in how it presents, from life force absorption to mimnipotentikinesis. Some people can only hold one power at a time, some cause physical damage to those whose powers they adopt, and some can only hold a power for a limited amount of time. However, as is the case with Hope Summers, not only can some mutants with this ability permanently hold an unlimited amount of powers without damage to the original mutant, they can also have immediate mastery of that power. Such cases are rare, but they make power mimicry one of the most powerful mutations we know of.

The Flash and Quicksilver, going by movie/show logic and seeing how they see things going incredibly slow, technically don’t have super speed. They would have a form of Atomkinesis, the ability to control atoms. This form would be the ability to slow down all atoms that make up everything other than the atoms that make them (Quicksilver/The Flash) up. This would explain why they don’t fall slowly through the air every time they run, jump, etc., breaking their “super speed” for however long they’re in the air. This is because gravity is still pulling down on them just as much as it’s pulling down on everything else.

Mission: Find Spector

Steven Grant x F!Reader (platonic for now); mentions of Marc Spector, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson

Summary: Avenger!Reader needs to locate a recent enigma during an incident in Cairo, Marc Spector. Unfortunately, he keeps calling himself Steven Grant.

Warnings: Mentions of abuse, drugs, trauma etc.

You were part of Hydra since you were 11 years old. They tested on you, tried to understand you, trained you and provided shelter for you. They got close enough by letting you concentrate your powers but, the full potential… Yeah, not even close.

Growing up with powers has made childhood terrible for you. Even your own parents casted you out and called you a freak. Unfortunately , joining Hydra was the easiest way to use your atomkinesis capabilities for some sort of higher purpose. Although in hindsight, higher purpose was never always good.

But of course, when you came face to face with the Maximoff twins who turned to the side of SHIELD and the Avengers, something inside you triggered. Something inside you wanted to be better. To do better. Since the incident at Sokovia, you left Hydra and went undercover as a vigilante fighting your own battles, as well as saving people you thought needed it by following orders or leads. Pretty much a hitman but for people who deserve the boot.

After the Blip, you had met Captain Wilson and Sergeant Bucky at Madripoor, after meeting up with some clients. Chasing after them, noting that these familiar faces were part of the Avengers and you would love to join them. After seeing Tony Stark and the rest of the Avengers sacrifice their lives for the world, you gained more respect. The need to use your powers for good intensified.

“Sorry, remind me how you got your powers again?” Captain Wilson was baffled at your admission, from your past, your powers, all the way to your vigilante activities.

“I was born with it.”

“Born with it?” Bucky inquires.

“Yes.”

The two men stared back at disbelief. They had never met a mutant, only heard tales of people born with remarkable, godlike and inhumane powers. Mutant. Type of term like that was degrading and maybe that was the reason most of your kind hid behind a mask.

But they warmed up to you and eventually took you under their wing. They needed more people like you. Filled with hope and the need to help others. Your powers were just a plus, and they promised they’d help you understand the extent of it.

Its been 8 months since then, the three of you have formed an irrefutable bond. You even helped them fix up the Headquarters since you’ve earned more than enough money through your hidden work and Madripoor acts.

So as you entered the newly renovated Avengers Headquarters by the outskirts of New York, it felt like an acid trip. The airy and modern atmosphere was just enough to look homey and professional, all at once. As your heels clicked and clacked through the marble flooring, Captain Wilson calls out to you by the kitchen.

“Agent Snowflake, c’mere.” Sam jokingly calls you snowflake because of that one time you cried while playing monopoly. They cheated that night, no one fucking wins monopoly. You thought to yourself.

“Its- I’m not a damn snowflake, Sam.” You walked near to him as you roll your eyes. He hands you a smoothie and chuckles at your reaction.

“It’s Captain Wilson to you.” He pesters again, causing you to huff out. Immediately, he swipes a holographic screen right in front of you as you sat on the kitchen table.

You took a sip of the smoothie as Sam plops down next to you. It was an image of a man, who appears to be a soldier. Dark brooding eyes, dark locks and a stern expression. Handsome, sure. No idea why he was being shown to you, though. “What exactly am I looking at?” You shrug your shoulder while giving Sam the side eye.

“American Intelligence, Marc Spector.”

Again you took a loud sip from your smoothie, causing the plastic to squeak, and stayed silent. To be honest, it confused you because, why this was important?

Sam releases a sigh and proceeds to speak.

“He was last seen in Cairo at some excavation site. Thought to be dead after a rampage occured by someone from their group…” He lingers on. “….Till this, was caught in a Museum CCTV in London.” The screen flashes to a blurrier image of a man who was wearing a rugged jacket, messy hair and a weird stance.

“Okay, so? He isn’t dead. Big whoop. Why feel the need to tell me?” The unenthused tone of your voice was evident. You place your drink onto the table and cross your arms. Eyeing Sam as your eyebrows raise up.

“He knows something about the shit that happened in Cairo. Where dozens of scientists, GOOD scientists, paleontologists and whatever-the-fuck-gists, were brutally murdered.” He flashes images of a desert in Egypt filled with lifeless, bloody bodies. Both young and old. People with aspirations, goals, lives to live. All taken away. You felt a pang in your heart.

“We need to know what American blood was doing over there.” Sam looks at you with more seriousness in the tone of his voice. “And who we should approach to stop this.” His eyes were more genuine, and you knew what he was asking for.

“So you want me to get him… right?”

“Bingo.”

“Fine.” You stand up, stretching your arms above your head. “Send me all there is to know about Spector.” Sam smiles up at you, nodding at your tenacity. He knew you were going to be moved by the incident, and he knew you were the right person to send. Not like he had much of a choice but, you were the only viable one.

Hawkeye was nowhere to he found. So was Antman. Spiderman was god knows where, especially since no one knew who he actually was. Doctor Strange isn’t even an Avenger. Bruce went on some sort of vacation and Bucky… well let’s just say you’re the most viable.

Landing in London as an Avenger and not as a contractual assassin was kind of refreshing. Of course, you won’t walk around letting people know you’re an Avenger. But Goddamn, it does feel powerful.

You arrived at London around 11 AM. The museum was about a 10 minutes away from the AirBnB you were staying in, so everything was within reach.

As you got situated into your AirBnB, you quickly placed your baggage in the closet and grabbed the most easily accessible outfit. A pair of leggings and a hoodie.

Exitting the lobby of the flat, you made your way to the Museum. Trying to get there before the inevitable crowd of tourists crowd the place. You weren’t quite sure what you were going to try and prove if you came face to face with Spector. All you knew was, innocent people died and this man witnessed the attack.

Stepping up the tall steps that led to the museum, you were happy to know that there was no entrance fee. God knows museums, which are dedicated for learning, shouldn’t be charging. But alas, some still do. The world ain’t perfect.

You kept your eyes open. Ensuring that if you were to catch even a small sight of Marc Spector, you would get to him. But, of course— you gotta keep it lowkey. You moved pass the various pieces of art and artifacts. Finally deciding to stand in front of a Sarcophagus.

Damn, this thing’s golden. Your thoughts lingered as you pretended to care about the piece. Turning around from time to time to spot Spector, and looking back at the writing describing the Sarcophagus.

“Ahh, yes. That’s an interesting piece.”

A voice interrupts your fake acting, making you jolt to your right in order to see the stranger.

“That there is a sarcophagus. Pharaohs were often laid to rest there but only once all their organs, except the heart, were taken out.” It was him. Dressed up in a beige jacket and a funky shirt. The face you’ve been studying for the past few days and the person Captain Wilson wants you to track. Right here, talking to you.

“Uh-“ You stutter out, pure shock covering your face. You look down to his chest and see his nametag. Steven. What? But, this was Marc Spector. It had to be. Those rugged features couldn’t be a simple similarilty.

“Sorry, sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt.” He almost backs away but you pull his sleeve gently.

“No, no, please. Um… why do they leave the heart?” In order to get a picture to study later tonight, you needed him to stay and keep near. You adjusted your hoodie slightly for the nano camera to capture his face. Sideways and frontal view.

“Oh, cause they’ll be judged by their hearts which will decide whether they enter the field of reeds!” He was so chipper. And British as hell. American Intelligence. That’s who Spector was, but this man is British as ever. Maybe its his twin? You debated on whether you should ask him or not, but your thoughts get interrupted

“Steven! What are you doin’? Get back to the shop!” A blonde lady screams from his back which causes the man to close his eyes tight, apologizing to you.

“Sorry, I’m not a tour guide, sadly.” He points to the gift shop and shyly bows his head down.

“No? You sound like you know your stuff.” You complimented the guy and pat him lightly on his shoulder. Praying to God you got the correct pictures to run through and compare on the computer later

“Thanks, it’s cause I like-“

“STEVEN!”

“I-I gotta go. Sorry again!” He shouts as he runs off to the direction of the blonde woman who looked like he was going to bite his head off.

At that moment in time, everything froze and you felt like you met a fork in the road. You needed to head back to the AirBnB and find out what the hell and who the hell this was.

Stepping back into your rented out apartment, you phoned Sam while setting up the computer to run data analysis through the pictures you got.

“Y/n? What’s the situation?” Sam beams in through. You put the phone on the side while pressing the speaker mode.

“Uh… met a speedbump.” You injected the nano camera to the side of the laptop and uploaded the images to compare Marc Spector and mystery man, Steven.

“How big of a speedbump we talking about?” You could hear Sam pacing back and forth.

“So I met a man who looks precisely like Spector in the museum…” Your photo uploads and the facial recognition analysis tool finally began to run its course. “…but it was not… Marc Spector...” The program completes the analysis.

Similarity: 100%

“Yeah? Hello?” Sam beckons, confused why you turned silent.

Shocked, all you could do was try and understand the situation. But you only came onto one conclusion. You were bamboozled. Marc Spector probably knew you were headed his way and placed a co-worker’s nametag and left it at that. Or he could have legally changed his name and faked an accent. You weren’t sure anymore. “Cap I’m sending you something.” With a few taps on the keyboard, the information on Spector’s whereabouts was exposed.

“Got it.” He was probably looking at the data because all you heard was, “Goddamn, what is he hiding from..?”

“No idea.”

“You gotta confront him. He gets off work at around 5 according to the footage.” You hear a few clicks from the laptop on Sam’s side.

“Right.” You look at the watch 4:45, “Better get going then.” After Sam’s pleasant goodbyes, the call ended.

Instead of opting for a more casual attire, you wore your work suit. Nothing fancy, it was just a dark blue suit that was made of thick, bullet proof material. It hugged your body tight in all the right places to ensure maximum movement. You wished you didn’t have to use your powers tonight.

You stood by the bushes on the side of the museum. Waiting for the so-called, Steven, to walk by. It was 5:06 PM, and he should be here, any minute now. And as if on cue, you spot the man again with his bag draped over his shoulder. Quickly you slid to his feet, causing him to trip over onto the concrete floor. You grabbed him by the legs to drag him behind the bushes, avoiding a crowd. Though, there was barely anyone there, it wasn’t worth the chance.

You pinned him onto the grassy ground and placed your arm on his chest. “Okay, Spector, no more funny games. Why are you hiding? What happened in Cairo?” He was in shock, shaking, startled at the suddenness.

“Wh-what??” He mutters out, trying his best. His eyes flicker, keeping his gaze on you. As if he was trying to focus on who you were. To his surprise, you were the one who complimented him earlier that day. And now, you were about to hurt him or something. “Say, you were the nice lady in the museum! This is a far cry from being nice, lady!”

“Oh quit the accent! Tell me the truth Marc Spector-“

“Sorry, what did you call me?” His question makes you pause.

“Marc. Spector.” You nearly choke over your words because you couldn’t believe this man was still pretending.

“You’re-you’re not the first person who called me that- but I’m sorry, lady. I am Steven Grant. Not Marc.” Your pin on him got softer because the look on his face sincere. It was quite genuine and your mind was stuck. If he wasn’t Marc, the facial recognition program may be faulty or something. But, that’s impossible.

You plopped to his side, sitting beside him. Desperate to arrive onto a proper answer, because this was not making any sense. “You gotta help me here, Steven…” you use the name he constantly repeated. “Marc Spector shares your face, and we need Marc Spector. It’s impossible that you two don’t have a link.”

He sits up beside you and tries to look at you, but a part of him is still afraid since you were nearly choking him awhile ago. “I-I can tell you what I know.”

“You know something?” Grabbing him by the shoulders makes Steven flinch a bit but he calms down.

“Yes…” He stands up and fixes his bag, as you followed his actions. He got a better view of what you were wearing and was genuinely terrified. You looked like you were some secret agent of some sort. “…do you work for the FBI?” He gestures to your attire.

“Uh… Something like that, sure.” You balanced yourself in between your feet. “So, the thing you know…”

“Right, it’s in my flat…” In order to help you not look like a fish out of water during the walk to his flat, he removes his jacket and hands it over to you. “Put this on.”

“Oh-um… thanks.” Carefully, you grab the jacket and wear it. Now your attire just looks like a big jacket and some shiny ass jeans.

“Yeah, now… Follow me.” Steven makes his way back to the main streets, as you follow behind. You typed a quick message to Sam letting him know you’re gathering intel and will send him updates soon.

You weren’t sure what this Steven guy would know about Marc Spector, but since they shared the same face— there had to be something more to it. So all that was left to do was wait.

Can we know about the Hexpanda cubs?

Of course! This one will probably be a long post since these two have like 8 kids probably more since Seraphina is probably the girl to want a big family since her biological family didn't give so much. Xiang doesn't mind it besides seeing Seraphina with all their little kiddos is adorable and seeing her happy puts a smile on his face. I didn't do art for this one cause I have no idea how I wanna design these kids. So later on I'll try and come up with designs and show concepts.

Name: Za'Niyah Akande

Age: 16

Powers: Potion Making

Info: Za'Niyah is the first born child of Seraphina and Xiang. She did not inherit her mother's powers but she does have a great skill in potions and hexes. She has a good balance of her parents personality she is a geek like her mother but is very chill. However she does have a temper on her and isn't afraid to be straight forward with someone. The girl has a big soft spot for her family and her littke siblings they're just too cute! Za'Niyah also has a big interest in different species and cultures, she is occasionally in Mewni and works as a witch. Za'Niyah is also talented in drawung and is a spelling bee champ. Za'Niyah is closer to her mom since her mom does also have a knack for potions and trinkets and both share a great interest in them.

Age: 14

Power: N/A

Info: The second born if the family. Like her sister she did not inherit her mither's powers, yet she does train with her father and is a very skilled fighter. Taiyang is also very adventurous and usually Dylan and her get into trouble with their adventures. Taiyang tries to act cool and collected but Seraphina's geek/dork genes run strong in the family. Taiyang is a little more close to her father and a lot say she's his little mini me. She is also a very talented cook and makes treats for her friends and family. Even though Taiyang is a very adventurous person she sometimes does like to sit down and just soak in a moment reading a book or being with her family.

Age: 12

Powers: Chaos Manipulation

Info: Hiro is the third eldest and is the one to inherit his mother's powers. However they are far more tamed from his mothers, Hiro has actually trained with her and is almost at mastery of them. Big ol mama's boy and this boy is almost a carbon copy of her if it wasn't for Xiang's infamous eyebrows popping through. Overall a good kid but he does have his moments, he's the perfect balance of his mother and father's personalities. Having his mother's wit and timidness but also has charm like his father and can be stand off ish at times. Can make any of his siblings laugh when they're not feeling so well he's a good ol jokester. (Kinda gives me Josuke Higashikata vibes when he's older but also some Koichi in there)

Name: Nila and Naomi Akande

Age: 9

Powers: Reality Manipulation (Naomi) Telekinesis (Nila)

Info: These two are the foruth eldest. Yet Nila is 5 minutes older than Naomi. If you were to recognize how Nila is she is the splitting personality of Louise Belcher. This family maybe be full if smart kids but Nila is at another level of smart. Out of all her siblings she's up there with her mother and added to Xiang and his charm. You got a whole little trickster, yet Nila is a sweet girl and has some soft spots especially for her twin. Naomi is a very energetic girl and is with her sister most of the time. With that energeticness she is known to be all over the place, but she's also a really quick learner and thinker. Though she's energetic she's actually shy when meeting new people and hides her personality at times. Both twins love their parents they can and will not choose who they'd rather be with. If you make them they will cry.

Age: 6

Powers: Elemental Manipulation

Info: Kuo is fifth eldest and inherted part of his mother's powers. This kid is so calm it's hard to hear him at times (even scaring his dad at times). Kuo likes to read most of the time but that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy running around. Kuo really enjoys observing his father spar or just practice his fighting. He does wish to use his powers but also combine them with his father's. He usually is seen with his father more and has a closer bond with him. He also has a knack for building tech and has made his own rocket boots.

Age: 4

Powers: N/A

Info: Feng is just vibin with his family. He is only a toddler and like his brother Kuo he's a chill kiddo too. In the future he's gonna have his daddy's suaveness, but for now he's just a little charmer trying to help mama do whatever he can around the house and even outside the house. He loves to help no matter what and has a very gentle soul when he's older. He doesn't really have an interest in fighting at the moment or powers. Yet it is sensed he may get some but training isn't even in a 4 year olds mind. Right now he lives for napping and eating the desserts he sneaks when his parents ain't looking.

Name: Jackson Akande

Age: 3

Powers: Atomkinesis

Info: Jackson is very good with his powers at the age of 3. But not as in he can control all the weather around them for now it only follows him if that makes sense. Like he'll have a little rain cloud on top of his head or something. He's a hyper kid too and has to be in the action with his siblings. Also like his mom and Kuo the boy has shown an interest in gadgets. Right now he's trying to make his own little robot pet but nothing's going as planned. Has more of a closer bond to his mother and has more of her personality when he gets older.

Powers: Chaos Manipulation

Info: The lil baby of the family and just the cutest. Gotta be watched every millisecond if you don't keep an eye on her she finds a way to be on the roof or inside a wall. Giggles and giggles she rarely cries and is a very outgoing baby, but when she's cranky she gets very shy and will cling to her mama or daddy. Seriously watch her every second she found her way into another dimension some how when one of the kids weren't watching her.

So, can you do a quick run-down on how jas’s powers work?

YES! I’m so happy you asked this question because I literally did so much research for her.

So I give quite a bit of exposition about her powers in this upcoming chapter, but here’s a simplified version.

Basically, when the particle accelerator hit, it restored her brain function, but her brain is now in a constant state of hyperactivity, sensing and seeing things that should not be possible.

Because of this, she is able to see the atoms and molecules that make up matter (the small strings mentioned earlier). Because of her brain hyperactivity, she is also able to control the atomic vibrations of objects if she focuses enough or is in a state of high emotion. 

In addition to this, she got blasted with a combination of dark matter and ultraviolet light, giving her the power of energy projection that people can see, but it’s highly volatile and even more sensitive than her atomkinesis. 

She doesn’t find out about that until later though because Caitlin and Cisco suppress it, believing it interferes with her atomkinesis.

I describe her as Scarlet Witch but purple and stronger because she can theoretically control anything she wants if she becomes powerful enough.

Poly Morph is the first and main Form of Fusion-X where he gains the ability to manipulate his atomic structure, aka shapeshifting. Powers and Abilities: Auto-Atomkinesis/Shapeshifting: The Mode's Main Ability is to manipulate his atomic structure to potentially alter his size, shape, and form into anything and everything as long as alloy knows what the form is in an atomic structure (from creatures to items) and he can create separate items with that ability. Limited Atomic Manipulation: The Mode is able to manipulate the atomic structure of items and beings, but it's very limited to repairing them (but eventually it will be got enhanced via updates). Atomic Structure Scanning: The Mode can scan the atomic structure of anything to unlock its form. Limited Power Mimicry: When he morphs into a form, this morphic mode will grant their powers and abilities along with the level of power such as the strength of a gorilla, the speed of a cheetah, and the durability of a rhino. Energy Augmentation (Update Enhancement): By using Nicholas' Energy this form can make any transformation 2.5 times more powerful such as gorilla form able to lift from 2 tons to 5 tons but with an update enhancement it is increased by 5 times such as Anaconda squeezing strength 550 lbs → 2750 lbs. Weapon Morphing: By Combining Alloy's Atomic Shapeshifting and Nicholas' Energy, the mode is able to morph weapons and tools that are limited to what the duo think of, and they can be separate items even if they unmerge. Limited Size Alteration: The Mode is able to alter the size of the form he morphs into, such as making praying mantis human size (but not much as size morph even not a little and only on small morphs up to a limit of 3 feet in size). Weaknesses: This Mode is not made for physical capabilities at base form compare to the rest of the morphic modes. Alloy would need to know what the form is and its DNA and Atomic Structure to shapeshift. When shapeshifting, the mode can't mimic all of their powers (such as if he morphs into a fire species he will not have pyrokinesis, but the energy is hot like fire it's complex). Trivia: This is the first morphic mode in the series. Despite all morphic modes have shapeshifting and body manipulation, poly morph have the greatest ability and skill out them all. Its Base Form is the weakest morphic mode physically. The Mode can't manipulate atomic energy or create lifeforms (expect drones).

I have a personal vendetta against someone wildly more successful than me so I’m trying to make them lazy.

You don’t know how to relax so I’m literally filling you with laziness but you just won’t stop.

I work at an animal shelter and I sometimes make the animals fit what people are looking for by removing or adding laziness. You haven’t lived until you saw a cat with 0% laziness.

Aciukinesis - Control Sharpness

Did you know that most man made spheres are still more jagged than the earth itself? You haven’t experienced softness until you felt a perfectly smooth ball. There’s also not a lot of traction so please cup it in your hands.

I’m one of the only chefs here that doesn’t have some sort of hot or cold ability. But me being very clumsy, the ability to make all my knives dull saves my fingers a lot.

I keep making all the knives in the kitchen blunt so I can watch my parent-in-law get frustrated and lose their dominance over me.

Aerokinesis - Control Air

I can control the air but that doesn’t do a lot so I just got a few wind turbines for my property, so I get power for free. It’s a small win, but I like it. 

Sometimes I go to the beach and set up a kite rental booth while making it windy. It doesn’t make much but it helps with rent.

No one thinks that controlling air is that cool of a super power until I take it out of their lungs.

Aestatekinesis - Control Summer

I hate sweating so I made this summer really mild but it’s affecting my town’s farming economy.

I forgot that Alaska’s still supposed to be pretty cold in the summer and I may have made the ice caps melt a little more.

Aggressiokinesis - Control Anger

I work in tandem with a crisis clinic and so far, there isn’t a patient I can’t calm down.

My anti-aggression dog classes are the best in the business. I even stop by pet shelters.

I just love watching these people tear each other limb from limb with blind rage. I’m gonna be sad to see you go though.

Aidoskinesis - Control Humidity

One of the only things good about my powers is that I can make my boss’ office so humid they have horrible hair and sweat stains for their meeting with corporate. 

My greenhouse is always at the perfect humidity even in the dead of winter.

I’m gulty of making someone so humid they’ve taken off their shirt before. It’s a blessing.

Alcokinesis - Control Alcohol

You always get too out of hand with your drinking so I just take the alcohol content out of your drinks.

My coworker bugs the hell out of me and they’re going in for a company-wide drug test today. I made their breakfast have a healthy amount of alcohol.

It’s very fun to see someone pantamime being drunk when they think they are when in actuality I’ve taken all the alcohol out of their drink.

Amokinesis - Control Love and Desire

Shit are you actually in love with me or did I manipulate you into liking me?

As a joke I was going to make my classmate fall in love with whoever came in next but you did and now I’m very jealous.

I make people forget about me when we break up so it’s easy on them but I can’t get rid of my own love for them, even when there’s no chance of getting back together ever now. 

Anthracokinesis - Control Coal

I like being alone so I move to Centralia and just turn off the surrounding coals when I’m walking over them. It’s very quiet but very smoky. I need to leave town to buy a gas mask.

I bought a bit of land and made a little mine before buying a truckload of coal and just stiking it in the walls. Then, I compressed it all into diamonds.

So my parents gave me a little tough love as a child and gave me a piece of coal one christmas. I’ll admit, I was a naughty child. But that piece of coal made me learn of my powers. It’s the only piece I’ll never manipulate anymore.

Antikinesis - Control Antimatter

No you can’t come to my antimatter dimension. It’s very private.

I think we had a good run, I’m just gonna get a black hole in here real quick.

I always wanted to visit Chernobl, good thing I can just sort of turn off the gamma radation and go for a walk. 

Argentokinesis - Control Silver

Whoops I’m in werewolf country better make all my clothes and stuff have silver mesh.

So I don’t have the best impulse control. I made my rude neighbor’s prized dog into a silver statue and now it’s like... eighty sets of flatwear.

I may be a very inactive person, but damned if my joints ever pop. I’m doing sprints anytime I feel like it.

I got too excited testing how much I could let my joints move and may have dislocated by shoulder. 

Yes, I tried to suck my own dick. Yes, I should have realized that there is actually bone stopping me from bending my spine like that. Don’t laugh at me.

Asterokinesis - Control Cosmic Energy

I’ve ascended to be the god of the universe and all I want to do is to stop being in charge and just have some time off for once.

I saw how much earth was desperate to meet other beings so I made some closer planets support life. 

I’m not just some giant being in space. I’m a regular person. I buy groceries, collect rocks, and I’m desperate for people to never know I made them. 

Astrakinesis - Control Astral Energy

I am nearly constantly disassociating. The good news is that I have like thirty dream selves I can be while the others go on autopilot. 

I can see spirits so I just deal with ghosts for a living. Most of the time they’re just confused.

I can work as a medium for ghosts to talk through but you roleplaying with your dead datemate is the last straw.

I realized that in my lifetime I would never see a mission to a star so I made some much closer to us.

I am the best weather forecaster the world has ever seen. I work for a small town in rural country though. I think I have five hundred viewers on a daily basis? 

I always make sure my neighbor’s/parent’s/friend’s/etc farm gets the best weather.

Nothing quite like a day of absolute silence when you have an audio processing disorder.

Movies are very fun to watch when I can make one character silent and just ad lib the dialogue.

I can see how people act before ever talking to them, that’s why you’re the only one in the room I’m going to talk to. 

Where I live, auras are very important. So I can easily hide among them as someone without giving an inkling of malice.

I personally hate you so now you get too radiate bad energy until you apologize.

I’m allergic to what they use in fake gold but I have no money for good jewelry so I just make it gold after I buy it for cheap. 

It’s not quite the Midas touch, but I’ve pulled that prank before. 

I make golden jewelry and sculptures by making them out of clay/wood/etc and turning them into gold for huge profits.

Autumnuskinesis - Control Autumn

My hometown capitalizes on my love of pumpkins and sweater weather by becoming a destination for those looking to beat the heat but don’t want to own a down jacket. 

I can make things rot. So I rotted my neighbor’s garden a week before harvest. 

I make autumn immediately follow winter so now the world’s harvesting systems are fucked because I get pollen allergies. 

Avarikinesis - Control Greed

I’m trying to make the world fair by taking all the greed out of high-ranking officials but sometimes that was their only driving force and they have no actual job experience. 

I made someone comically greedy because being a superhero in a town in which no banks need protecting is boring.

I want so desperately to not have to take greed out of anymore people. It’s getting so tiring. I need to go on a vacation.

Having hawks fly to my aide when my boss was giving me shit in the parking lot was definitely a sweet move.

I may live in this cottage alone, but these birds are more than enough company. One of them just told me about someone who ate shit on pavement last week in a city ten miles away. It’s awesome.
