seeing someone review the new Hellraiser makes me want to rewatch the old stuff since it reminds me very clearly how sadomasochistic the series is and how people really are bad at 'getting' it if you aren't of that wave length.

like yes everything is hurting that's the-- that's the point of course the beings are saying it's good it's because they are masochists-- their box is for those who want that--

it's so weird seeing someone being so confused by the concept and no mater how, what feels so blunt to me, Pinhead and the universe seems to say it the idea just is so foreign it goes right over the person's head as just 'typical horror pain and torture' not the fact this is legit meant to be pleasure and based on so much masochistic activities even real people do

like the really cool one where people hang by their own flesh by hooks

it's like extremely cool knowing the human body can just DO that and it can hurt but be so exciting for people

just that is so obviously being referenced among a lot of stuff-- but like to the /extreme/ really being the way for those people to get even more out of it without actually dying.

it's just so cool to see, yeah it's horror for people who aren't involved but can be a true heaven for those are.

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them

People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human

The laishuros and the labrus had a delightful episode today.

Not only did Laios and Shuro have an adorable reunion, full of ~informal~ and affectionate language (to his household’s dismay), but also gentle and affectionate touch, encouraging Shuro to take care of himself.

Then Kabru shamelessly inserts himself into the conversation, bats his eyes at Laios, and tries to “introduce himself,” when the man clearly has no idea who he is.

Kabru then sees Laios leading Shuro away for perfectly normal reasons and goes “I’ll join!!” with as many ulterior motives as possible.

These three have a hilarious dynamic, I want as many scenes with them together as possible.

sometimes spite is a powerful motivator and today its motivating me to crochet

long story short I saw a cool bag on pinterest while I was looking for crochet patterns but there was no fucking pattern but one of my friends found a pattern for a similar but not quite bag so I watched an hour long video, transcribed it into text, and am now gonna make a wholeass backpack just because Sunflower Vibe

In Knives Out Blanc wanted to do the murder mystery investigation with Marta so bad, but she was certain she was guilty so she spent a good amount of the movie avoiding/hiding stuff from him

Meanwhile in Glass Onion Helen was fucking carrying the investigation, even while accidentally getting drunk, and even went to investigation lengths Blanc was hesitant to do
