... Too much.

It's not my fault!! I just designated a patch to grow and forgot about it because the agrihand mechs do everything with the garden. The only crops the Jones boys grow are rice (for the nutrient paste dispenser), coffee beans (the most important one), psychoid (to make yayo so our neighbours will overlook our blatant ocean-polluting), haygrass (for our animals), and tinctoria (for the dye to make the base look lovely). EDIT: I forgot, they also grow sugarcane to make their dalgona coffee!

This ask reminds me that it might be time to cut back on the tinctoria and plant more psychoid or haygrass instead... Whoops.

Heya, hope your having a good day/evening. As someone who wants to post art like you, what kinda of resolution/canvas size do you recommend so the site doesn't ruin the quality. Keep working hard and hope you're well!

These are the settings I use mostly! Don’t ask where I got the numbers from because I have actually no idea

My illustration canvases are honestly A Lot Larger than they need to be I think, especially for posting online. I don’t know much about how tumblr compresses things so I can’t speak to optimizing resolution for that specifically but I think you should choose canvas sizes based on what you’re planning on using the art for. If it’s digital, anything 1500 to 2000 for each edge will more than suffice, since most devices have resolutions of 1080 x 1920, maybe larger if you’re working with a monitor or a television. I would only go up to 4000 if you’re working with displaying on a television or trying to print something large.
