I could picture like, sabo does the more dangerous work, so you're officialy dating marco the ceo and you get dressed up and go to events with him but sometimes his little brother offers to take you home bc you're soooo tired from interacting with all those business peeps and sabo is just such a good younger brother to take care of his bro's girlfriend such a gentleman (nvm that you're going back to sabo's room and not marco's) like rather than a poly they just both share bc you couldn't pick they're just both too good IDK MAN I JUST WANT THEM BOTH SO BAD T_T

ok but the riskiest part of being the weakness is the fact that pops basically parades you around and calls you his daughter in law and nobody can figure out exactly what it is that got him to favor you so much but you run with it when you need to (like when ace/luffy are being a little shit)

also random thought before anyone officially starts dating, you start going to events with ace bc you get hired for the company or something (maybe ceo's secretary >> since ace is gonna be the boss someday!!) and people just assume you're dating and when pops calls you the daughter in law they're like oh congrats to the lovely couple and you both just look at eachother disgusted bc ew, no (like you'd also rather lick his face than anything romantic bc you've seen him eat food off a bar floor and other disgusting habits and absolutely not) and then everyone is just confused (incoming shanks flirting at that moment sounds perfect xD) then you realize getting called the daughter in law means pops has some idea of what's going on and now you have to figure how much and how mortified you should be

So there's a comic out there called something like Him & Him & Him, that's basically a girl and three guys (an uncle and twin nephews), and it's porn with a dash of plot, but I like the way it was done. That comic makes me think of what Sabo x Marco x Reader would be.

Which, to make it concise, in the comic, the lady marries the uncle legally, but all of them live together, and it's like you were saying "Oh what a good brother he is, looking out for Marco's fiance like that."

So yes, yes I like that head canon very much. We were going to split this into two different Pick One endings, but fully polycule works too.

It certainly turns into Two Against One though, cause in this situation the reader is the puppy dog >.>

Jason reaches up, yet again, to fiddle with the knot of his tie. Bruce sighs knowingly and catches his hand then holds it, swinging it between them. He smiles as Jason rolls his eyes but doesn’t take his hand back, just arranges it so they’re clasped together.

“It’s not as tight as it feels,” Bruce says.

He chews on his bottom lip before he realizes what he’s doing and stops, scowling. “You’re used to it, old man,” Jason says. “It’s exactly as tight as it feels.”

“Jay – .”

“I don’t even gotta be at this one,” Jason whines, sounding all of five instead of thirteen. “C’mon, B. Couldn’t I’ve just stayed home? You don’t need me.”

Bruce refrains from saying something cheesy and dad-like (something like I’ll always need you) because he knows Jason will turn into a complete mess for the rest of the night. They’re still learning the ropes of dad-and-son even if Batman-and-Robin seems to come naturally. Slowly but surely, though, and Bruce doesn’t want to mess it up.

“Come to this one and I’ll let you skip the next three,” Bruce offers. Jason’s expression immediately brightens and he twists around so he’s walking backwards in front of him, still holding hands.

“Forreal?”

Bruce grins. “And we’ll go to Alejandro’s after this for sundaes.”

Jason cheers, jumping up and to the side with carefully cultivated grace to avoid tripping Bruce. There’s a skip to his step now as they walk down the unnecessarily long hallway. It’s nice to see him acting his age – he and Dick both had too many bouts of too-old maturity that sometimes makes Bruce feel like he’s looking in a mirror. Dick more so. Jason just seems to enjoy taking delight in the little things – like ice cream in exchange for a stuffy gala.

When they enter the convention hall his bright expression drops and he lets go of Bruce’s hand to smooth down his tie. Bruce mourns the loss of his smile, but there’s nothing they can do about it. Jason hates being here, Bruce hates bringing him because he hates it so much.

The tabloids can’t get enough of them.

If they’re not singing back-handed praises about Jason, then they’re spitting outright vitriol. He never wanted his children to be faced with that – to be honest, he never really thought about what a child would go through being taken him by him, let alone two, and he hates himself a little for that oversight, for not learning after he took Dick in. But he couldn’t just leave Jason out there and – but Bruce has found that if he doesn’t bring them every now and then, then the tabloids get nastier, the rumors get darker.

So, yeah. Here they are.

Jason sticks close to his side for the first hour, smiling gamely, answering questions politely, accepting more back-handed compliments with the kind of grace that comes from years and years of practice that extend beyond when he came to live with Bruce. He has to dodge three attempts touching his hair – with and without them asking for permission first. When he said no to the request, they tried anyway. Two people praised his articulation and it took everything in Bruce’s power to not get physical – instead he takes them down verbally and then makes note of who they are so he can see what he can do to them reputation wise. He’s pretty sure they have ties to Wayne Enterprises – and soon they won’t anymore.

Bruce sighs, does an admirable job of not pinching his nose in shame for his fellow man, and taps out a rhythm on Jason’s shoulder. He glances up at him, eyebrow raised. Bruce taps it out again and Jason grins brightly, eyes sparkling, then disappears towards the snack table, dipping into the shadows like he shouldn’t as Jason but excels as Robin and Bruce knows he’s not going to remember to talk to him about keeping those talents separate. Not when he catches sight of him grinning and laughing with a younger kid as they talk over little bite size brownies.

He recognizes Timothy Drake – finds Jack and Janet in town for once over near the doors to the balcony – and he’s glad him and Jason have found each other. He’s about, what, eleven, twelve? A year or so younger than Jason and will probably make a good friend judging by their conspiratorial smiles. Jason meets Bruce’s gaze, and his smile widens, mischievous and loads better than that wane, professional high-society one he learned from Dick.

Dick made it charming and likeable after years of practice. Jason’s just screams get-me-the-fuck-out-of-here only because he doesn’t have the showmanship Dick was raised with. He’ll learn, eventually. Bruce wishes he wasn’t in a place to have to learn it – he might have to go back to those plans he’d been working on to get the Wayne name more under the radar. It’ll be less suspicious now since he has kids. It’s not weird for a celebrity to shy away from a camera they used to love after having kids, right?

He knows Dick hates his Richie Wayne persona. He doesn’t want Jason to have to make one.

Bruce puts a pin in that for later and turns his charming smile back on Miss. Caroline (who loss most of her interest in him once he took in Dick, but she can’t back down after making up her own mask).

It’s boring. Bruce doesn’t hear half the conversations he has. Jason fully disappeared about forty minutes ago. The Drake kid didn’t reappear, so he has to assume they’re gone together. He should probably worry about what they’re planning. He trusts them. To an extent. They’re curious kids after all. He had to reassemble most of the vehicles in the Cave after Jason got his hands on them.

Well. Jason reassembled them. It was a learning experience. He’s just glad the kid’s too nervous about touching the topside cars. One day they’ll work on one of those together.

He thinks he’s okay with losing sight of Jason – until the doors bang open and men dressed in black swarm in. Bruce sighs, annoyed and frustrated, and only gets a single step away from Caroline before he realizes he’s dead center in the middle of the room and he has nowhere to slink off to. Crap.

💗Is there a scene you can’t wait to write for a WIP?

In Shadow AU, I'm really excited to write the scene where Quinlan first sees Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan has been very quiet and reserved with Anakin for a couple of days and isn't behaving normally. Because of some stuff that is said/not said or emotions that are felt/not felt (plus a very invasive force suppression mechanism having been installed five years ago), Anakin believes that Obi-Wan doesn't actually remember much of his life as a Jedi. For a while, Obi-Wan very much seems to not recognize Anakin himself, which makes Anakin really upset.

So Quinlan shows up, and Anakin is bringing him to see Obi-Wan and he's trying to prepare Quinlan for all of this by saying "FYI, he might not remember you/he didn't remember me at first/just wanted you to be prepared for the reality," and Quinlan and Obi-Wan meet eyes in the middle of Anakin's warnings, which trail off. And Obi-Wan is sitting there, with very proper posture, on a chair by the window. And Quinlan goes still. And everything seems to freeze.

And Quinlan says to Anakin, without breaking eye contact with Obi-Wan, "Oh, he remembers me alright."

(Cue the slow frogboil of Anakin's raging insecurities.)

👻Is there a scene that you find intimidating that you have yet to write?

All of them, lmfao.

Um, one in particular that is really stressful is like a very short section in Every Shadow chapter 4 where Obi-Wan & Rex interact. It's not so much that I'm nervous to write them interacting. It's more that like... I have so much written after this scene and so many notes of things I have to remember to put in this scene that it's very overwhelming. T_T And I'm very worried I'll forget something. This is the same reason why chapter 3 took so long. Chapter 4 is going more quickly bc it's less intense than chapter 3 was, but it's still a Thing.

I usually have the drafts completely written of a fic before I start posting, and Every Shadow is no exception. But the notes/things to add earlier like this are always a problem in revision, no matter how complete the draft. (Like every chapter in 5pe has had this problem too haha.)

how did you feel when you first started out writing fanfics for a particular fandom?

i started when i was around 9 and was very excited to share so thats what i did :] but over time i grew insecure and felt my old stuff was stupid lmao so i deleted it all off the web and then writing became a private thing for me for a very, very long time (writing like 40k, 38 chapters worth of stuff just for me 😭). i've wanted to share during my last few fandoms but never got the courage to until i got into lookism/viral hit !

(well, actually, i did share some writing during my "obey me!" phase but it was just text convos lol)

naturally, i was nervous putting my writing out in the world again esp bc the last time i did was when i like 11-12, and i was 16 when i wanted go public with my writing again 😔 im very glad i pushed myself to tho, bc its basically been a year now and i've had a blast!

i never imagined so many people would like my silly writing, enough to send in requests T_T 💕💖

have you always been passionate about writing?

kind of,,? i really only got into it because of fanfiction lol but i did consider becoming an author for like. a week of my life sjdhwhdj so really it's just a hobby i do since im the walking definition of "speaks little but thinks a lot"

gotta put thoughts down somewhere yknow? and at the end of the day, writing to me is just what art is to me; it's for fun and to express myself. sure, i wanna get better at both, but if my stuff turns out "objectively" bad, at least i know i had fun with it :'D

(that's my philosophy with art in general; make "bad" art!! have fun!!! enjoy life!!! i hate comparison/competitive things!!!! lets all just have a nice time being kind to each other!!!!!)

creative writing is very cool tho and i have a bunch of ocs i'd love to write stories for, but the artist in me is saying i want to do them webtoon style ;_;

what is your method to know a character better so as to make your works seem close to their original personality?

going to be honest, im not the best person to ask for this 😭 im the world's most casual writer and i take my "just have fun with ur art" thing very seriously;;

i.e. i just keep note of how a character acts throughout a story, characterize them along the way, and then use that as my base for any writing i do of them 😭

um. i also (re)read fandomwiki pages of them, if any, to double check for stuff 😭😭😭 occasionally i rewatch/reread moments of them in their stories when i want to look for something specific but otherwise it's just me going "hm would this character do this?", comparing it to my base, and reacting accordingly!

other times i straight up go "yeah they probably wouldnt do this BUT it would be cute so im going to do it 😍"

so, if nothing works, just let urself be self indulgent <3 unless u do want to take ur writing more seriously than i do, then uh yeah it would be much better for u to look up advice from people who take their writing more seriously ^_^"

this was incredibly difficult bc i’ve been mainly listening thru afi’s discography lately but i didn’t want to put albums from all the same band lmfao. (put a read more bc i got wordy for no reason)

1) bodies - afi : honestly decemberunderground was the last album i think i heard until they dropped twisted tongues and escape from los angeles in like 2021 when i got nostalgic abt them and heard they had a new album coming. i ended up getting tickets in 2022 to see them and before the show i took some time to listen through their newer stuff. no surprise here, it’s all fucking amazing. they really know how to explore their sound without sounding like an entirely different band. also i made prolonged eye contact with davey during no eyes and i think abt it every time i listen to this album so

2) infinity on high - fall out boy : obviously the theme for 2022 and into this year is “emo phase 2: electric boogaloo” and i’ve been listening through fall out boy’s discography, too, in preparation for their new album dropping. while not my #1 fob album, this one is just……so good. hum hallelujah / golden have me weeping

3) i brought you my bullets, you brought me your love - my chemical romance : embarrassingly, i never truly listened to this album top to bottom and holy shit that was a bad move for me! this album is very very very good and i’ve been playing it a lot. fun fact: for a while i didn’t realize vampires will never hurt you was on this album and not three cheers?? foolish

4) american idiot - green day : jesus of suburbia is punk bohemian rhapsody and it took me like three weeks to stop listening to that specific song on repeat. this album is…so fucking good and i’m probably going to put it on again in a few minutes bc it’s been two days since i’ve listened to it and that’s too many days without this album

I LOVE CURIOUS SEL QUESTIONS MORE THAN ANYTHING BTW….. this one was tough tho </3 i feel like there are so many sides to stsg as characters…. and i usually end up focusing on one particular aspect depending on which fic i’m writing :0 obv the type of au also affects a lot!! like how open they are ….. both of them are just soso closed off so if i want to write them being vulnerable it kinda has to be an established relationship 😭 and so on!!!

but !!! when it comes to what quality of theirs stays the same no matter the au …… hmmmm. hmhm. aside from their struggle to open up (which i think stays even in en established relationship!!), i’d probably go with…. softness for suguru, and maturity for satoru :3

when it comes to sugu i really do just think he’s such a softie :((( he has a bleeding heart and i feel like no matter what suguru i’m writing for, he’s bound to have that kind of tenderness towards the people he cherishes (even cult leader geto!! maybe even especially him)… so that’s something that always stays the same. even in scenarios where he’s excessively cruel there’s some kind of tenderness underneath. and i feel like that take is also supported by the manga, yk?? no matter the stage of his life, there’s always some kind of softness to be found (him buying haibara a drink even while he’s spiralling, raising nanamimi with evident care, laughing softly and tearing up when satoru’s about to kill him)…. i just love him T_T

but enough abt sugu!! sel i trust you to understand what i mean when i say maturity for someone as childish as satoru bc that’s also something that i see so clearly in how you write him!! that i love!!! he acts childish and silly and it’s not an act or anything, but there’s always that maturity underneath. i feel like sometimes it’s easy to forget but like…. satoru is just. so stable? he’s strong and dependable and as much as he struggles with his own emotions i think he’s very keen when it comes to others. he has the kind of maturity that’s easy to miss but rises to the surface when it’s needed…. like the moment things go south. there’s just smth very reassuring abt his presence!! :’3 and even when i write him more sillier or whinier i keep that in mind…. i also think that’s like. his biggest charm point. he takes care of you!!!
