That is how i felt with ep 1. Stas was having a reaction from her fear. Aint nothing pull her hair, I replayed that so many times and nothing “lifted” as all the twitter heads want to claim. Nothing was messing with HER and not the others is was fear and once again Amanda did not feel or see anything. Every medium i have seen is extremely sensitive and has reactions, she reacts AFTER everyone else does. It just annoyed me that everyone made it into “she gave Colby her protection so now she’s vulnerable.” How about she didn’t want to be there and was scared out of her mind but wasn’t showing it so then it got to her head and that was her fear being displayed on camera. Same with Kris on this last video. I really hope that they partner with people that know how to handle these types of locations in the future and then don’t overreact because it’s such a buzz kill now that every single girl suddenly seems to have some type of reaction. There are some bad ass girls out there partaking in paranormal investigations and they don’t scream and cry for every little thing.

my thing with kris was that she immediately, out the gate, started crying. if something that bad happens, i would remove myself from the investigation, or at least not carry on until i've calmed down and centered myself. but she's also new to all of this, so i do want to give her the benefit of the doubt at least somewhat.

it was her mixed with celina who was just making fart jokes the whole time that annoyed me. it was literally like a played up very of corey and jake and like… no thanks.

i usually don't care when someone freaks out. hell, i'm usually the one defending them when ppl say they're overreacting. but this time it was just too much. things never settled and i think that's why i hated it. i think i wanted to see an actual investigation and instead we got a 2019 video. i don't want that. don't revert back to that.

and as for episode one, personally for me of course, i genuinely enjoyed it. even when stas and kat freak out, it's not like that. they don't scream as so many ppl say they do. yeah, they get loud, but kris and celina were full on yelling at some points, when there was no reason to be. or every little thing was met with "wtf was that?!?!?!?!" instead of just a shocked face lol

amanda in the first episode said that she felt some stuff, but it wasn't until the rocking chair that she really felt like things were off. and honestly, i can see that. i don't really believe the chair was haunted, so much that ppl believed it to be, and thus it was. and i'm not sure why with this season she's toning down and not using her abilities. i'm a bit confused as to why they would bring her out if she wasn't gonna try to communicate with the spirits.

and also, this is not a diss on you or anything like that, but let's err on the side of caution when it comes to saying that all the girls they collab with are overdramatic, bc girls already have that negative connotation tied to them. nate ran out of a house, josh and seth have freaked out before, but no one says they overreacted. the only ppl snc have collabed with that haven't are the haunted night guys, but they (along with seth and josh) do this regularly. i don't think it's bad to have a reaction to paranormal. that's honestly what i want, which is why sometimes i don't love when snc collab with haunted nights bc they are both so stoic compared to snc and so it makes the video lop-sided in my opinion. i don't think there's anything wrong with have a big overreaction.

the difference between, for argument's sake, stas and kat or celina and kris was that that stas and kat at least have quiet moments. they can relax in paranormal situations. they aren't amped up to 11 the whole way thru the video. celina and kris, whether it's just how they are together or if it was the place or both, were at 11 the whole way thru. there was never a settled moment. there was never quiet. and that's what made the video bad. and as a side note, the video ended abruptly too. so it was like all this build up, with no pay off, that just ended randomly.

it just wasn't a good video. and it sucks bc it's snc's most successful (as in it getting 1 mil views in the shortest amount of time), which is insane to me. and i've only seen like one person outside of on here that agree it wasn't a good video.

apparently my ‘therapist’ is back at work, I heard it from my sisters therapists bc they r obv working at the same place but I was just like ‘yeaaahhh, I don’t need that cunt anymore, I'm fine on my own’ ??? plus I aint calling him, he can fucking call me since he fucking left me alone for like 5 months n I hadn’t gotten a single word from anyone - plus the fact whenever I did call that lady at that place, she would say weird shit to me, n u know he can also fucking apologise to me for leaving me that fucking long, like if I ever do get a session I'm fucking going off at him for that, I don’t give a shit if u were ill - u can’t just fucking leave someone for that long who has been waiting a fucking year for one session n who yr meant to fucking ‘treat’ or w/e, this is a fucking apparent ‘personality disorder’ specialist treatment thing as well, tho tbh I don’t rly want therapy anymore, like i’ve done more for myself the past few months then anyone has ever done, I feel better about myself now, n I'm not actively suicidal anymore - nor do I think about it as often as I did, like I've had numerous therapy sessions over the years n even a group therapy for ppl w bpd n none of it ever fucking did anything, plus group therapy pissed me off bc they kind of left u alone after the sessions ended, no follow ups or anything, u were just on yr own like bYE, PLUS they kept cancelling a number of sessions which they never made up for, and other ppl in the group were getting annoyed about it too, and this one therapist triggered me off really fucking badly - I had to leave the room to fucking calm tf down, and to apologise she stood outside the bathroom when I was coming out during break (THE WEEK AFTER as well), - practically jump scared me bc she was just standing in front of the door - so like I opened the door n she was right in my face - bc thats fucking normal, n then said it was a ‘joke’ or w/e to the thing that triggered me like ‘oh I'm sorry, it was just a joke’ so I was like wtf plus she forced me into a hug at the end of one of the last sessions, wouldn’t let fucking go n I was like trying to get tf away from her  n push her away n she was like ‘no! u need to hug for a certain amount of time so u can get endorphins’ or w/e it was, n I'm like no that makes me more stressed and freak out but ok u fucking cunt, like wtf is wrong w this bitch??? like she was weird n I don’t like ppl fucking touching me so no. the ppl in the group were ok, I talked to one girl mostly who had bpd & hpd, n there was a lady who bought her massive dog w her, like I can’t rem what breed it was but it was a massive black dog who was friendly n kept coming up to everyone for our attention, so we’d be paying more attention to the dog then the actual sessions which we used to get yelled at for, plus there was another lady who left part way through who was rly fucking angry and aggressive n used to apparently start fights w random men she hated n she had been to prison a few times like she was great tbh n we’d just smoke outside before sessions n during breaks so 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 but the therapists were shit, n every other therapist I've had has been shit, n these family therapists bc of my sisters situations were pissing me off the other day trying to talk about my ‘recovery journey’ n I was like - none of u r ever going to be involved, its none of yr damn fucking business, especially my family bc yr all the fucking reason I'm like this to begin with PLUS I aint recovering m8, if recovery just means becoming more ‘neurotypical’ - hiding my symptoms, n becoming more of a ‘convenience’ to others around me, so they don’t have to deal w my ‘scary, spooky’ symptoms n disorder - you can fuck right off - cunt. ok ok i’m finally gonna sit down n write this shit out before it leaves me shjbgk

ok so as we know yesterday was my japanese excursion (last one evER) n for some god forsaken reason my parents thought it’d be a good idea to see the annual light festival, vivid, on the same day Sooo your girl had to get off an earlier stop @ the end which sucked but i’ll get into detail later lol

so i got up nice n early for a saturday to have a shower n do my makeup n i realised i looked extra asf for an excursion but wisteria knew i had vivid afterwards so i had an excuse lol

our lil class got to the station an hour early to buy drinks n snacks n @ 11 we were all waiting for wisteria who, like a goddamn angel, had come up the stairs n saw us sitting @ a bench n my heart stopped bc i forgot it was a saturday n i was in casual clothes n makeup n seeing wisteria outside of school was incredible wtf

also i was drinking hot chocolate n of course my lipstick was all over the cup n i got heaps shy n quickly drank it all lmao i hate myself

anyway so we’re waiting for the train to come n we’re all chatting in japanese n english about random shit like this movie i watched the night before n how we all did not want to do this speaking thing n how dinner was gonna be the best,,, eventually the train came n we boarded n i got super jealous bc wisteria called one of my friends over to talk about her major work n of course they were talking for the entire time n i was lowkey jealous bc i wanted to sit beside her lmao. we also had to change trains n for some reason it dropped to like -10 degrees ?? n we were all huddled together in a cute asf circle shivering while i constantly asked if i could (jokingly) jump off the platform bc i hATE SPEAKING n i hatE WHEN IM COLD 

all was good n we walked to the fancy asf school where the speaking thing was held n wisteria had to leave us bc she was going to be one of the teacher’s who asked questions 2 the students but like,,, we’re not allowed to go to her n i wanted to die even more bc there was a shit ton of native speakers n a few white teachers n i knew no one but wisteria n i hated it so much omg,,,

i find it ironic how i can speak japanese quite well when i’m not pressured hmmm

so yeah that was a miserable experience n now i’m so scared 4 the real thing help

wisteria had to stay till 4 (we were there since 1) so she let us walk off to the plaza that was nearby n we chilled there until it was close to 4 before we returned. while waiting for her outside the building we all decided to remix a song that we constantly sing in class that’s one of wisteria’s favourite japanese songs (by remix it was like an acapella edm remix where i dabbed bc lit) n when she came out of the building we hurried her over to where we were sitting n started n she was laughing @ our stupidity wow i love an iconic class

next we started walking to the restaurant where we’d be having dinner n it took absolutely forever,,, when we got there there was a small queue n suddenly wisteria got really excited bc she realised that this particular restaurant was the one she wanted to try for a while now n it was so cute tbh (i wasn’t gonna admit that in person tho hell to the no)

we got a table n again i wasn’t sitting beside her :(( but it’s ok bc she teased me either way. my brother had texted me asking if i was gonna get the kid’s ramen n i told that to wisteria n she laughed so loudly lmao

let me tell you. torikaraage, or fried chicken, is legit the best thing in the world. it’s not like kfc. it’s japanese fried chicken. it’s incredible. that’s my obsession, alongside ramen. wisteria on the other hand,,, her favourite drink is oolong tea n when she had it she was squealing like a little girl agAIN so not only is she obsessed with walls n green tea but she also loves oolong tea n i’m just sobbing she’s so precious :’)

we got a group selfie together which was cute <3  

after dinner we started to walk to the train station but we got lost a bit n had to catch a bus but it’s ok we eventually made it lol. 

tho,, along the way,,, wisteria (for the millionth time) had stopped and squealed n it scared me a lil ngl so i turned around n she was already running off w some of us,,, i followed n honestly my breath caught in my throat.

there like this opening which had a view of the city from afar with all the lights on the buildings from the light festival i’m supposed to be seeing afterwards. n while it was afar it was magical ?? like one of those surreal anime moments. just the five of us w their japanese teacher standing in the darkness, watching the city n the lights w the wind in our hair.

i was actually ready to cry both emotionally n bc i was so tired

we made it to the station n caught the next train n i realised that it was only two stops after that i’d have to get off which SUCKED my gosh. BUT i was sitting beside wisteria n when it got close to my stop i started to hug all my friends goodbye. n then,,, i made a risky move (in my mind, at least) n turned to hug wisteria n she returned the hug n honestly it was one of those(TM) hugs,,, yknow those rare ones that for a moment you actually believe things will be okay n she was so warm n soft n i’m tearing up thinking about it (you best believe my arms did not leave my body the rest of the night) <3

n she jokingly said ‘nice knowing you’ when i said i might get kidnapped n i rolled my eyes n laughed smh !!!

n here’s another thing: i was wearing my scarf the entire day n i had worn it today, n while i was doing something i randomly put my face in it to keep me warm n there was a perfume scent that was most definitely not mine,,, my perfume is sweet n stuff but there was a v new scent that isn’t mine, or my mums, or anyone except wisteria. bc i knew i could smell her perfume when we hugged. oh my fucking god i aint washing my scarf now.

someone (wisteria) pls hold me i’m so emotional n i’m planning on talking to her tomorrow after class to ask if it was possible to have some sort of weekly speaking practice from now to the final speaking exam bc again, i’m an anxious unprepared shit n i need actual help @ this point,,,

Everyone is saying that Joey is gay, and while I do support that, have people considered her being bisexual? Liking both boys and girls? THAT would make much more sense, wouldn't it?

ok i have a lot to say about this.

bisexual joey is fine if you headcanon bisexual joey like its cool whateva live your life be ya self. maybe she is bisexual! who knows not us thats for sure.

but i feel like….theres this recurring thing thats happening…where a character shows attraction to one gender consistently and then for a split second they show attraction to a different-gender character and/or question their sexuality for a different-gendered character and everyone says “they showed attraction for BOTH genders in the past. that means theyre bisexual!” and then lots of people call out anyone that doesnt headcanon said character as bisexual bc its “bisexual erasure” and its a huge mess.

and you know its fine to see characters that have been attracted to both genders throughout their lives as bisexual like there aint nothin wrong with that. theres not that many bi characters out there so bi representation is awesome and headcanons are what you want them to be

but i feel like this whole thing that i just described fails to communicate the experience a lot of gay people go through (or trans!!). especially gay girls.

compulsive heterosexuality, heteronormativity, internal homophobia etc. these are all things that i think need to be talked about more.

i had NO idea these things existed until i was 18 (i had been questioning since 15) and stumbled across a blog talking about gay girls that finally realized they were in fact, gay but previously went along with being straight bc thats what…youre supposed to do….right? and back then i labeled myself as guess what? bi. it always felt weird to say it and it felt wrong but it was easier than figuring out wtf was going on w me bc i had never seen anything like how i felt. but…i had dated guys in the past?? and had just been with guys/had crushes on guys etc. so…..i MUST be bisexual….right???

as soon as i heard from another gay girl that these things existed and that i wasnt the only one that felt that way and it was something to overcome, i was able to stop doing things that made me uncomfortable.

i mean i know people that were HUGE flirts to the opposite gender (same? guilty?)before realizing they were gay just because isnt that what youre supposed to do??? flirt with the opposite gender??? or literally just overcompensating…trying to be like their straight friends and failing every time things got serious.

point: gay people that once identified as straight, bisexual or any other “queer” sexuality exist and have unique stories. i think these stories of realizing that you arent straight and that hey maybe you actually have no attraction to the opposite gender at all! despite your past actions and/or feelings! are so important to tell.

because otherwise it could be YEARS before some people figure out that they dont have to u know do things that they dont want to do or force themselves to be like their friends. and they can start being themselves while in their teen years! they can fall in love and go on dates etc while all their straight friends do the same thing.

just like its important to highlight bisexual awakenings/bisexuality/gay people that always know they were gay and love being gay/trans people/intersex people/ lesbians, its important to highlight that its not as divided as you think and you should explore because society really has you wrapped around its finger with expectations. it can have a serious hold on you.

i just…never see characters that go through the overcoming compulsive heterosexuality and realizing they never liked what they did in the past??? the closest i can think of is dave who realized that labeling sexuality is stupid and doesnt even exist in space or ever it never mattered or existed it was just how society made you think it did. to the extent that he would hate on gay people himself bc he was insecure about actually being what society considers taboo.

its scary. its a scary, crazy, wild experience that i think needs to be talked about instead of being labeled as “bisexual” everytime.

and thats why i headcanon gay joey ok.
