Wanted to introduce an old oc of mine.

Which I had been planning since 2018. Beatrice "Bea" The Bunny.

Role: Keytarist of Freddy’s Band

Species: Animatronic Bunny

Siblings: Bonnie the Bunny (Brother). She's Bonnie's sister ( actually, she was going to be another male bunny)

Bio-

Bea the Bunny is a free-spirited and charismatic keytarist with a strong sense of individuality. Though she shares her brother Bonnie’s laid-back nature, Bea is distinctly more creative and experimental when it comes to music. She has a natural gift for melodies and rhythms, often weaving intricate patterns with her keytar that make her stand out in the band. Bea enjoys being a bit of a wild card in terms of musical style, often incorporating elements of electronic, classical, and jazz into the band’s repertoire. She's energetic but not as impulsive as Bonnie—she has a refined taste and a deeper appreciation for the art of performance.

While she is relaxed and approachable, Bea can also be a little stubborn and determined when it comes to her art. She doesn’t mind taking the back seat when necessary but is fiercely protective of her creative freedom. Bea’s demeanor is often playful, and she has a tendency to tease her bandmates with light-hearted jokes, but when it comes to the keytar, she’s serious about her craft. Despite her carefree attitude, she does hold a subtle rivalry with her brother, Bonnie, especially in terms of musical ability. Bea is very proud of her keytar skills and often seeks recognition for her unique contributions to the band.

I made it for my friend's birthday (in April but, hey, at least I'm being organised 😭)

I edited the shoes a little (a lot (and I didn't stuff them)) but I really like how he turned out!

And I put bronzer on his cheeks for blush.

Deadpool Being A Girl Dad Would Include 🌸

-Wade Wilson is the biggest Girl Dad™️ and anyone who disagrees can fight me on it

-Of course, he would have been happy about a boy just as much as a girl but when you came back from a doctor’s appointment to tell him he’d have a daughter he was overjoyed

-When you ask him if he’s crying and tell him how sweet he’s being he just tells you to fuck off and you just hug him tightly

-He buys his daughter so many stuffed toys, going through the whole animal kingdom, then buying unicorns and dinosaurs, too

-He loves painting your daughter's nails and he lets her paint his nails, proudly walking around with his colourful nails and showing off how he matches with his baby girl

-speaking of matching, he will wear clothes that match the ones your daughter is wearing and it won’t matter what colour or motives they have because he’ll gladly wear matching Hello Kitty sweaters just as much as he’ll wear a matching dinosaur shirt

-You have to lecture him on safe sleeping and not letting his daughter sleep in a bed full of stuffed animals

-From the day that he found out he'd have a daughter he was going over names every day, looking them up online, asking his friends about their opinions and overall being very imaginative

-Some of the names were better than others but eventually, you two came to a compromise

(-I personally headcanon his daughter's name to be Bea after Bea Arthur from Golden Girls because in the first Deadpool, he wears a shirt with her face on it, I just needed to share this)

-He adores dressing his daughter in cute outfits, not necessarily in the sense of dressing her in puffy dresses or clothes covered in bows, but in clothes with cute prints

-Wade gets that a baby needs comfortable clothes but that doesn’t mean they can’t have cute kittens on them or be brightly coloured or covered in a glittery print

-He would also totally let his daughter choose what she wants to wear, letting her pick the wildest mix-matched outfits ever

-When his daughter gets old enough to actually understand what books you two are reading to her, he goes out of his way to look for ones with positive female role models

-He buys books where the girl saves the day, where the female characters are strong and independent, where they have agency and big dreams because he wants his daughter to know that she can be anything she wants to be and that she can do that on her own

-That doesn’t mean he isn’t protective because if any bad guys catch wind of the fact that he has a daughter and threatens her, he’ll go ballistic on them

-Spends hours watching Barbie movies with your daughter and then dances around the flat singing along to the songs with her while she pretends to be a princess or fairy

-Wade tries to learn how to do your daughter’s hair and spends countless hours on the internet, looking up tutorials on how to do elaborate hairstyles

-He is always distraught when he can’t get it right and you have to come in and help him

-Totally has tea parties with his daughter and her stuffed animals

-He’ll also be super interested in her hobbies, be it football or ballet, baseball or horseback riding, he will let her talk his ear off about it

-Speaking of ears, when his daughter wants to get her ears pierced he goes with her and lets her sit in his lap so she won’t be afraid but it’s actually him who ends up flinching more than her when he sees her little face scrunch up in pain

-Then he’ll buy her twenty new pairs of earrings while you go on telling him that the piercing needs to heal first and she won’t be able to wear them for another month or so anyway

-Wade is the Dad his daughter's friends feel safe around, and they ask for help if anyone makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe

-loves watching stereotypical girl shows with her, like My Little Pony or Winx Club

-listens to boybands with her

-has pyjama parties with her where they paint each others' nails, watch romcoms, eat popcorn and do face masks

-Wade is the Dad who loudly cheers his kid on during school functions, big games, dance recitals, you name it and he never misses one of these events

-If he has to show up in full Deadpool gear so he will make it on time then he will

-When his daughter gets older and gets her first period, he panics a little but when you sit down to talk to her about it he is there to reassure her, too

-never embarrassed to buy pads or tampons for his daughter and brings home her favourite sweets to make her feel better

-imagine him standing at the cash register in full Deadpool getup buying menstrual products and chocolate for her

-he is also very good at getting blood out of clothes, so that comes in handy, too

-he will teach her self-defence, showing her all the ways she can protect herself, verbally and physically

-insanely proud when she managed to take him down and slam him onto the floor

-isn't the biggest fan of going shopping but will do the stereotypical dad thing where he sits down and lets his daughter put on a full fashion show to show off her new clothes

-he knows what it's like to feel insecure about your looks so if his daughter ever feels insecure or not pretty enough he will actually sit down to have a serious talk with her and tell her how beautiful he thinks she is

-has the sweetest nicknames for her, from regular ones like "Honey" to things like "Light of my Life" or "My Little Princess"

NMTDaily: Makeup Tutorial feat. A Special Guest!

- Real interesting time to be watching this episode right now. Someone gave me the feedback that it’s kind of cool that I’m so behind on my liveblog because it means you all get to read them and look back on older episodes through the lens of the ones NMTDaily is currently on. I’m really understanding that with this episode.

- Hero is a little angel. Using “sneaky filming techniques”… like hiding a totally different video in the bloopers for this video, mayhaps?

- Claudio is here! He’s the special guest.

- “Dear Claudio” and “my boyfriend does my makeup” - the Hero/Claudio relationship has gone to the next level of official.

- Tea is a love language in this series. Claudio coming in with tea for Hero because he’s trying to impress her is a direct parallel to a later scene where Ben has already made Beatrice tea and they’re sitting in his room with their cups as he tries to comfort her.

- Hero and Claudio’s mugs are plain block colors, showing that they don’t really know each other at all, in comparison to the fact that the mug Ben will choose for Bea is Game of Thrones themed and is her favorite GoT family crest. Because he does know her. (I don’t know GoT well enough to be sure which one, or if they’re even called family crests. Sigils? Anyway.)

- (Also, I can’t remember, is “everyone deserves tea” a Hero line, or is it a Jane Bennett from the LBD line? It could go either way. Kind of the same character archetype, different font with those two.)

- Hero and Claudio are very blushy and nervous around each other. There is no easy rapport- this is still big emotional surface-level crush territory.

- “Just gonna admire the artwork in progress” The first of many subtle lines that show how Claudio sees Hero as a prize, a pretty thing to look at and possess.

- We’re also doing some light reinforcement of heterosexual gender roles: the man is utterly clueless about makeup while the woman knows exactly how to apply fifty different products. Claudio is okay with looking like an idiot in this video because he’s a guy, he isn’t supposed to know anything about makeup. If anyone else made Claudio look foolish regarding any other topic, we would see the sullen, angry side of him come out.

- Fun fact: ya girl is exactly as clueless as Claudio, I wouldn’t have known that wasn’t foundation without the footnote Hero puts onscreen. Or without reading the packaging. Gender roles are fake! I know I could do nicer makeup than Claudio, though, lol.

- Yeah, letting someone who has never done mascara before near your eye with a mascara wand is some scary shit. This shows just how much Hero trusts Claudio.

- “ya wanna know how I got these scars?” I mean, Claudio actively invoking The Joker is extremely on the nose, but it does count as foreshadowing his villainy, so I will mention it. The smiles he causes Hero to smile now will turn painful soon enough.

- Also! Remember that at the costume party, Benedick is Batman. Ben is Batman, and Claudio is Joker.

- Hero kisses Claudio on the cheek, leaving a lipstick stain, and he deadass says “jokes on you, now I look like a ladies’ man”. Because it’s perfectly okay for him to BE a ladies’ man, to show interest in other girls. Men get to do that. It is not okay for Hero to even be implied by a third party to be showing interest in other guys, because women must be perfectly faithful or branded sluts.

- The eyeliner! He writes his name on her cheek. The most direct, on-the-nose statement of Claudio’s view of Hero. “Now people know who you belong to.” Who you belong to. Spine-chilling.

- Hero is right to punch him for that. Interesting that he apologizes for saying it.

- Just the genuine fear on her face about seeing her makeup look, though. And the “Claudio, what have you done to me?” Said in laughter, in a moment of happiness, but also a totally valid line for her to say again later in a much more devastated way. (She doesn’t say it again later, but she could.)

- It IS very sweet that he won’t let her say she looks like a monster, that he keeps telling her how pretty she is and kisses her forehead.

- “The fact that you’d still kiss me now says a lot for our relationship” No, Hero, your boyfriend still liking you when you’re looking goofy is the bare minimum! He should!

- “Your turn” and all she does is put guyliner on him. The minimum level of makeup to not be embarrassing, to still allow him to think he looks sexy. Claudio’s masculinity must be maintained. He does have lipstick on in the following close-up shots, but that could be from kissing her, so plausible deniability.

- “Maybe you could do my makeup for my 16th?” *dun dun DUNNN*

- Hero is back, looking lovely again. She’s going to post outtakes.

- Beatrice is predictably disgusted both by this video and the prospect of outtakes, giving Hero a reason to post the outtakes on Ursula’s channel. Handy.

- “I’m sure one day even you yourself will watch that video” Says Hero, thinking to herself that one day Bea will see how her friends played matchmaker for her and Benedick, and she’ll be happy about it. Very optimistic, Hero. (She also does just mean ‘someday you’ll be in love like this and you won’t think it’s gross.’)

- Beatrice and Hero edited this video together, because Hero knew Bea would hate it, and she needed Bea to swear never to watch the makeup bloopers video. The plan moves along swimmingly…

- In the comment section, Benedick himself is plugging his own response video, “Disgusted” by dropping a link with “that was so disgusting! watch my video if you agree!” I love the character comments.

- If I didn’t know this was a Much Ado retelling, I’d think Ben needs to learn boundaries. The girls already told you to leave them alone, their comment section is not the place to plug your channel, mister. As it is, though, it just screams “hey Beatrice, I thought the makeup video was disgusting too, just like you did! Notice me! Pay attention to me!” This nerd. So obvious. And he genuinely doesn’t even know he’s doing this. Wild. It’s also great that Hero and Bea’s response is to completely ignore him, lol.

- We’ll also see in upcoming videos that Ben’s comment is a reflection of his insecurity about losing Claudio as a friend now that he has a girlfriend.

- Plus, the comment linking his video lets Hero know that Ben has also taken the bait and will not be watching the bloopers video either.

- In the rest of the comment section: many people gushing about how adorable Hero and Claudio are, some people doing so with a tinge of sadness because they know what’s coming, praise for how natural the acting feels in this and all the episodes, and folks picking up on the hints of Claudio’s possessiveness.

- Mooble1325 hits the nail on the head with “they strike the right balance between making him sweet enough that hero would believably like him and already showing that touch of possessiveness that John plays on so well”

- There’s even a comment saying Hero/Claudio are cuter than Jane/Bing! It was always very interesting to compare and contrast different LIWs to each other, I love that.

- Someone also compared Claudio to the youtuber Jim Chapman, and I had to think very hard before remembering who that is. I think there’s a slight blond-white-dude resemblance, it just trips me out to remember how many youtubers I’ve forgotten existed over the years.

- Hero in the video description urging us again to watch the makeup bloopers, you won’t regret it! This will be plot-important! The game is afoot!

Wip wheneverrrr

Okay since I just finished act 1 and reworked the plot I'm like scared because I'm basically rewriting everything from scratch. The last 11 chapters I had already had from the first rewrite attempt. But this one is entirely from scratch.

So! All I have to share is the plot beats I worked on. I'll put it under a cut if you don't want spoilers :3

Also @wanderingaldecaldo tagged me like two or three times and @ghostoffuturespast did too and I think maybe @luvwich did at one point as well?

Also for mod projects I'm working on Bea's NPV, finishing up the comms, and working on some friend NPVs. I've also been doing some tutorials in the WoNC server going over NPVs and that's been kinda cool!

For VP I have a second double date from hell planned with Wash's Val and Ros >:3

PLOT BEATS

ACT 2: Doll chip and Frederick's involvement deepens, Bea and V drift away and back and away and back

Frederick wants revenge. Skulks while healing from ball replacement. Goes to bunker to see what was stolen. Even angrier because now he can't sell it.

Bea gets new job from Arasaka to hunt a "Militech researcher" at doll club (MAKE UP NEW CLUB). Bea doesn't know it's owned by Frederick or that he's the mark.

She and V text, maybe meet up a couple times, things seem to be going well until she begins to distance herself due to the gig. Less frequent texting, no meet ups, just says she's busy with work but won't elaborate. One month passes before she goes MIA.

Frederick visits, she's not jacked in as a doll. He pounces on her and fights her back. He gets her jacked into the wall as a doll. He's trying to upload a program but there's some techy shit going on that's causing a block. He knocks her out. Calls the tech to do a diagnostic. Says it's some conflicting programming, shows Frederick. Sees it's exactly what he needs to finish the chip. Keeps her there, takes a long time to run through the data and process it, keeps her working as a doll to further experiment on her brain. She has moments where she gets too violent with the clients randomly and then is back to sex kitten.

Three weeks without hearing from Bea and V has sunk deep. He goes to a doll club he's never been to before. Sees Bea in the lineup. Thinks about her as much as he can. She's busy, with another client, premium, not allowed, etc. Bribes his way in/threatens violence.

Bea is a mess. Bruised and broken, branded, dead eyed, there is nothing left. Her programming begins, she's saying all the right things, he's getting aroused. Can't help it. He says the safeword. She doesn't stop. He tries again. She doesn't stop. He jacks into the doll port as she's trying to unbuckle his pants and tries to override, forcing the safe word to work. She's out for a moment. She tells him to leave, that he'll die if he stays that he has to go. Her brain goes on the fritz and she tries to kill him, back to sex kitten, back to killer, but Bea isn't home anymore. He knocks her out. Calls Jackie. Tells him he's gotta come 'cause he's breaking Bea out.

Fights through Animals, meets with Jackie in a stairwell, he's fucked, bleeding real bad. They get outside, running to the car, looking behind to see where Jackie is. He's on his knees in front of Frederick. Tells V to save her and not to listen to Frederick. He dies.

V gets her home, cleans her up, she regains consciousness and is trying to fuck him again. He calls Judy, she doesn't know what's wrong. He knocks Bea out again and jacks in. He can see the doll programming but it's weird and warped. He sees it fighting with the other working, an antivirus? He finds the antivirus and it attacks him. Johnny pushes him out.

Bea is okay for now, out of it, asks after Jackie. She sleeps more. V calls Viper, asks if she's ever seen anything like what he saw in his interface before. She reminds him she doesn't do deep dives and to go fuck himself. He runs errands, gets some clothes and shit for Bea to change into.

When he comes back Bea is nowhere to be found but no one ever left the house. She pounces on him, using all her strength and all her tricks to try to kill him. A complete mask of rage, she's yelling at him in Japanese. He breaks her arms to get her to stop choking him and knocks her out again. He does a brief second dive and barely gets a couple steps in before Johnny pushes him back out and tells him it's not worth it that she spoke Japanese and he should just zero her now because she's an Arasaka corpo. Fight ensues, angst, "where were you" (no really where was he lol I don't remember if I figured that part out.) Compromises with Johnny, will do an actual deep dive.

Frederick is enraged but still has the data! He fires up the bunker and gets to work again. Mitch calls V and lets him know about a weird power surge and a guy whose description matches Frederick's. V can't deal with it, too distracted with Bea. Besides, who gives a fuck what Frederick is doing out there since the chip schematics were given to Mitch.

Gather the team montage: Viktor for vitals and keeping Bea under, Viper for tech expertise, trusts her, begs her to do a deep dive. She asks if he has a chair, he says no. She says she'll bring him his old suit and a shitload of ice. Says he should call Rat. Hems and haws, calls Rat, begs him for help. Solving a weird problem together, like old times.

Sharing memories, big fight in the interface, etc. He gets her out, everyone is alive! Hooray! Now fuck off.

Wild Steve calls Bea the next day when she and V are snuggling in bed the next morning, says she's gone dark. She doesn't know the connection had been severed. Says she needs to come in for diagnostics now. Gives her the where and when. Tells V she has to go now and that she can never see him again. He begs and pleads wants to know why. She just says it's over, not that there was any "it" to begin with.

Bea goes to creepy Arasaka med facility. Tell her that her chip is fucked and she has to stay there. Trying to upload the new tracking soft but the doll chip goes haywire again and she fights her way out.

The bunker goes dark, no explanation why.

ACT 3: Frederick on the warpath, V and Bea broken apart, brought together again to stop Frederick and the doll chip production.

Bea is for real on the run from Arasaka now. No money from them either, trying to keep herself afloat with stripper gigs. No contact with V. Films the BD rape.

V is bereft and also going back into old habits. Fights with Johnny.

Rogue calls Bea, tells her she has a line on her family. Says she needs to do a job for her first and then she'll give her the info. Calls her a cunt and hangs up.

Rogue calls V, tells him she owes him. Says she has a line on a doctor that knows about Johnny. But he has to do a gig for her first. Wonders why she's offering it to him. Tells him to just read the spec.

Job: Sabotage secret Militech production facility. Easy to do, inject some malicious code. Needs an ace infiltrator he can trust. Calls Rogue. She tells him to call Bea.

He calls Bea. She says no.

Rogue calls Bea. Tells her to do the job with V. Sends a photo of the camp, her parents. Tells her to just do the damn job with V, it's easy, simple infil and code upload. She's only there to keep the squishy netrunner safe. Asks why her. Says she knows about her training.

While Bea is questioning all this V is still feeling awful. He grabs new XBD, BD rape with Bea.

Bea calls him the next day, says she'll work with him. He comes over. Tender moment, make out, takes her shirt off, sees the rib marks. V gasps. He won't explain it, tells her to put her shirt back on. She says the marks were nothing, just a weird modeling gig. He won't touch her, all he sees in the Maelstrom guy. He has to say something, he blurts out he saw it. She's mortified and disgusted. They meet up the next day for the gig.

Secret Militech facility is manufacturing military doll chip. Sabotage goes off but not without a hitch when V gets distracted and doesn't clear the final logs. Bea is so angry at his incompetence she leaves.

Rogue gives her the details. V is a mess again. He calls Rogue. She refuses to give him the info. He and Johnny fight. V goes on the sex warpath again. Goes to Bea's apartment to see her drunk af, she's not home, he hacks his way in, jerks off in her bed, in her shower, passes out. Next day calls a girl to come over and fuck.

As Bea rolls up the camp she's debating what to do, two Militech AVs hover above the camp and soldiers jump out. A convoy drives up, a blonde haired man walks out and sends some kind of signal. They start firing. Bea runs. Calls V for help, when she sees him with a girl in her bed.

That whole bullshit. Johnny takes over and tries to demand the info from Rogue, more drugs and alcohol. Tells him to talk some sense into V.

News leaks about a military doll chip in production from Arasaka. Frederick ramps up productions and sends competing leak.

Mitch calls V. Shit's dire.

Rogue calls V. Tells him about Kenji Yamamoto conveniently locked in the basement of Frederick's house.

Bea has a scary night with a client that follows her. She doesn't go home. She goes to V's who is now completely sobered up after Rogue called him out. Sees the guy in the hall that was following Bea, ushers her inside and shuts the door behind him. Chases after the guy and beats the shit out of him for no reason than because it feels good and violence is love.

Heart to heart. Discuss Yamamoto, what it means for him plus bonus get to kill Frederick.

Devise plan, plan goes to shit, Yamamoto's lab, he can manufacture something to make it so Bea always shows as deceased in Arasaka's scans (for now…)

What are you most excited to write with this WIP?

The ending. As a writer who loves to build up to specific moments and gestures, this story requires SO MUCH planning and care to achieve the effect I want which will hopefully be a mindblowing one. And also a very sad realisation I hope. I want the reader to be SHOCKED. i need them GASPING. i need them HORRIFIED. but i can't do that until i write everything else first </3 but god yeah i really really really want to skip to teh ending

How has this WIP changed since the “daydream/brainstorm” stage?

Initially in the daydream stage, I modelled this as a short film script! But I don't write scripts often so I scrapped it and made it a short story instead. Additionally, as I wrote it I realised extra motifs and secrets to add! For instance, Kanto tells you something and will always draw back to that point but as I wrote this in, I realised it would add to the plot twist to have Nafiz never acknowledge this explicitly until the very end! Little things liek that which will require extra planning but contribute so greatly to the payoff.

OH YEAH AND LIKE. ITS CHANGED A LOT FROM ITS FIRST DRAFT. MOSTLY BC THE FIRST DRAFT WAS 9 PAGES OF HANDWRITTEN STORY WHICH I THEN. LOST IN BANGLADESH </3 But honestly i really love the rewrite more so tbh alhamdulillah that happened. Taught me to save my work properly too sdfogushdfg

Who is your favourite character in this WIP and why?

So few people even know about the wip but even fewer know that the two main characters, Kanto and Nafiz, are just my Twisted-Wonderland self-inserts re-contextualised to be humans of different ages to their ogs. This is a little on purpose though since the story is very close to my heart ;D

But in that regard, my favourite character is actually Kanto!! She's a really young girl in Sheltered but her dialogue, mannerisms and actions are so fun to write and most importantly of all, she is integral to the plot twist. I love how much depth I need to pour into her and she's the expositional character!

Bea i fear we're entering the TW dnf era once again, but on a real note it baffles me how people will preach progresism but the moment a man implies he's in love and that loved person is a man it turns out that the ship seems to real so they start to back off and try to "callout" srs dnfers, like I said on priv people love to defend dream's queernes until is about him actually being queer publicly and not only that, people are so bold that they want him to represent them and project their labels that he's never said he felt confortable onto him

anon you put it perfectly. and most of the base for dnf is just,,,, factual information based on how they act and word by word from dream's interviews and songs. and the last part is SO true but that is a story for a whole new conversation. it's part of a bigger issue of people online to change narratives to make the narrative fit them and victimizing themselves. i saw a tiktok that had great examples of this phenomenon: like there will be a person showing tutorials to make cute hairstyles and someone will be "well but what if i'm bald". ofc it's not that simple because those identities are invalidated in many environments it's not like being bald but the general issue is created by this excessive individualism of our society (esp online)

edit: i wanna add about the "i fear we are entering the tw dnf era once again" and yeah there is an interesting dichotomy between there being more srs dnfers than ever before but also there being more people who openly complain about dnfers than ever before

Whatever she was doing, like- it's SO easy checking in w people and not liking softcore minor stuff on twitter, I am doing it so well!! So does many damn people in this forsaken fandom are able to do it

At least it doesn't feel like a loss to me in a way cuz I always thought her art looked kinda gross and also just like. The moment I saw her confession thingy of Roy where she basically headcanons him to be sexually harassed by old men, or just men in general, Idk, my memory isn't the best

Tho I do wanna add I don't like her art style because of the absolute non diversity of it, like she draws like 3 different shapes, bimbo boobs, femboy and slightly less femboy w abs and that's kinda boring as hell honestly, and the body types she draws like, they don't even look that good to me, each time I remember how she draws Peggy it makes me so sad and just like, damn, she deserves better

anyway yeah she's just. weird. i actually had a long discussion about this with someone in dms recently, but everything she says leads into another question or topic SHE wants to talk about and she doesnt seem to really have the social awareness to understand when ppl are uncomfortable or want to talk about something else. her art is bad, which isnt a crime. it's just funny. the colours make my eyes bleed and everyone has an hourglass figure and massive bulges. she made a drawing tutorial on how to draw roy Her Way, which again is fine, it's just hilarious to me because she just keeps saying ''draw roy as a skinny twink with thick thighs and make him an uwu dork!!!''. i wont post the tutorial bc that feels mean and she can draw any character any way she wants.

i rag on her a lot for being the roy mpreg person but here's the kicker right. i LIKE mpreg. i will admit it, i have looked at mpreg art myself because i enjoy that typa stuff from time to time. but it's bad mpreg. idk who her audience is, but it isn't freaks like me i'll tell ya that.

Otaku Republic Review and Tutorial - Indonesia

I'm going to write this in Indonesian because honestly I can't find any review or tutorial out there when I was trying to purchase my first Otaku Republic's doujin from here.

Disclaimer gue tulis ini di tahun 2024. Jadi kalau ada yang baca di masa depan mungkin sistemnya udah agak beda. Semoga tulisan gue masih bisa jadi guideline temen-temen beli di Otaku Republic

Pilih Item

Waktu itu gue beli doujin hasil nemu dari Google Image if you can imagine wkwkkw. Dan ternyata cukup gampang cari doujin di websitenya. Gue baru pertama kali juga pake OR dan setelah gue tulis nama karakter yang mau gue cari di search bar mereka langsung kasih ratusan pilihan doujin untuk karakter tsb. Walaupun gue rasa OR masih bisa perbaikin desain page mereka sih haha.

2. Pembelian

Setelah pilih item yang mau dibeli, klik Add to Cart, terus Go to Checkout. Sama sekali ga perlu buat akun untuk pembelian. Ini yang gue suka dari OR.

3. Pembayaran

Nanti masuk ke Shopping Cart dan akan diliatin Item dan Items Total. Klik Item's Checkout. Nanti keluar form yang perlu diisi kayak di bawah.

Silahkan lengkapin data diri temen-temen. Nah untuk Address ada tulisan Use PayPal Shipping Info. Klik tulisan PayPalnya, nanti akan keluar form kayak gini

Btw, gue ga punya PayPal waktu itu dan masih bisa purchase tanpa buat akunnya. Jadi buat temen-temen yang ga punya ga usah khawatir. Pokoknya isi dengan alamat pengiriman ya. Bukan alamat KTP, bukan alamat sodara, dll. Alamat pengiriman kalian.

Lanjut buat shipping, silahkan temen-temen pilih mau yang Standard Shipping atau Priority Shipping. Perbedaannya untuk yang Standard nanti gratis, ga bisa track pengiriman samsek, dan lama. Untuk yang Priority ada biaya $10 USD, bisa track, dan lebih cepet sampe.

4. Finalize Your Purchase

Setelah selesai semua data diri kalian, nanti akan masuk ke halaman baru untuk finalisasi pembayaran. Ada pilihan sistem bayar: PayPal, PayLater, atau Credit Card. Gue waktu itu coba pake Debit ga bisa, jadi pakai Credit Card (MasterCard). Abis itu silahkan isi data kartu untuk pembayaran.

5. Setelah Pembayaran + Handling

Nah setelah semuanya selesai untuk tahap pembelian dan pembayaran, nanti masuk email dengan judul "[ORDER ID: XXX] Thank you for purchasing from Otaku Republic". Di email ada link live page itemnya, dan ada link untuk Shipping Status. Setelah gue beli waktu itu websitenya langsung update kalau doujinnya sudah Sold Out. Super helpful dan gue suka. Dan kalau kalian klik link check order status, nanti keluar page kayak ini

Untuk catetan, itu bar persentase Handling JANGAN dipercaya ya wkwkkw. Persentasenya ga akurat dan kalau kalian cek tiap hari itu jalan cuma 0,5% atau kurang. Pokoknya lambaaat banget. Gue sampe sebel dan khawatir di awal, tapi setelah dapet email bakal diship tiba-tiba barnya berubah 100% 😂

6. Shipment

Gue dapet email order pertama itu tanggal 17 Sep 2024, dan dapet email kabar shipment itu tanggal 27 Sep 2024. Jadi sekitar 10 hari dihandle. Dia cuma jelasin kalau kita akan dapet barangnya "within 2 to 3 business weeks". Dan kalau kalian pengguna Standard Shipping seperti gue, udah berserah aja sama Tuhan kapan sampe nya hahaha. Sama sekali ga bisa tracking, bahkan gue berkali-kali tanya di email ke adminnya juga tetep tidak terjawab guys. Khawatir? Oh tentu saja saya deg-degan barang gue ga sampe dan stuck di bea cukai karena buku porno 😂.

7. Barang sampai yay

Doujin gue sampai dengan selamat di tanggal 18 Oktober 2024. Jadi 21 hari atau PAS 3 MINGGU puji tuhan sampai kalau dihitung dari email Shipment. Gue ga tau berapa cepet kalau pake Priority Shipping.

8. Review

Overall gue puas dari servicenya. Profesional, packagingnya rapi dan aman. Gue bahkan dapet coklat KitKat dan folder Naruto gratis dari Otaku Republic. Ada surat dari mereka dan ada brosurnya. Barangnya wangi haha. Email selalu dijawab cepet dan ramah, selalu ada update dari awal sampe akhir pembelian. Yang ga gue suka adalah HARGANYA... Buku asli harganya cuma 64,000 IDR atau 620.16 JPY circa 2024. Saya tau karena saya stalk akun toko pixiv authornya. Kalau dari OR harganya jadi 449,424.36 IDR atau 27.72 USD. Inflasi gila-gilaan. Ngerti sih karena biaya admin dan pengiriman. Cuman gue rasa tetep terlalu mahal untuk beli doujin seharga 64k.
