it's funny how gay coded villains exist in this purgatory where they are often allowed to act more gay than actual gay characters BUT they are never ever actually confirmed to be lgbt in any way because that would be problematic or something. i'm thinking specifically of joker here but i'm sure there are other examples. alright maybe that's not entirely fair to say because there are also characters like harley & ivy who were implied to be an item as villains, while now their relationship status is more explicit as they've become more heroic. idk where i'm going with this but it's interesting to me

It is interesting! I think the bar for DC is whether or not confirming a character as gay would highlight how homophobic some of their comics are. And like, I love Scott Snyder's Batman run, but there is only a thin line of plausibly deniability protecting those comics from being about how a gay man being attracted to you is a horror on par with a man wearing his own rotting face as a mask and threatening to murder your children.

That being said, the problematic gays I was referring to in the tag were actually the Secret Six, who I desperately need new content for. They had some pin-ups in DC Pride #1 but that is NOT the same as new content.

Also Ragdoll is LITERALLY dead right now. I assume so DC can pretend that their first trans character wasn't a nonbinary serial killer who performed bottom surgery on themselves because their dick made it inconvenient to be a contortionist.

Oscar is their resident poison specialist (he makes new poisons, tests them, makes antidotes, etc. for the organization to use). His preference is plant based poisons, like belladonna and nightshade, because he graduated college with a botany degree and therefore has a lot of knowledge about them that he can put for use. He spends most of his time in his greenhouse full of toxic, beautiful plants that he tends too very, very carefully. They’re his babies.

There’s a whole backstory involved with how he came to join the organization that involves him accidentally killing his college roommate

Lando is a former gymnast turned espionage guy who also does theft on the side for funsies that works for the organization. Like vaguely cat woman-y? Obviously he’s super flexible and super good at his job because duh.

His favorite hobby is breaking into Oscar’s greenhouse via the windows and watching him work. Oscar is super fascinating to him, and he’s enamored with how absolutely brilliant this quiet, stoic boy, with maybe five facial expressions total is.

Lando sits there and listens to Oscar ramble about his complex science things. He doesn’t understand most of it ngl, but he loves the way Oscar’s face lights up when he goes on a long tangent about the chemical properties of cyanide and why it’s superior to arsenic.

Also sometimes lando brings Oscar random pretty shiny things that he stole that he thinks Oscar might like and leaves them on his desk, kind of like a crow. Oscar keeps all of them in a box under his bed. He looks at them when he feels down (he doesn’t tell lando that)

Oscar is equally obsessed with lando but this is already wayyyyyy too long so 😭 you just gotta trust me on this one

And then eventually, the rest of the people in the organization pick up on the growing landoscar feelings situation. Alex and George give lando a bunch of (loving and caring) grief about it. A bet between them is born. “$50 lando is too chicken to confess to Oscar by the end of the month”

Yada yada time skip a week or so and lando and Oscar FINALLY do something about the tension between them one night late in Oscar’s greenhouse, lando freshly back from a mission. Boom they kiss and then lando, being the idiot that he is, as soon as they pull apart, goes “lol George and Alex owe me $50 now”

Cue misunderstanding trope. “Oh you only kissed me for a bet?? You don’t actually have feelings for me 😔 I knew it was too good to be true.”

Lando realizes his mistake but Oscar’s already out the door, disappeared into the night.

And then Oscar gets kidnapped by the enemy 🤗 because he’d normally be more aware and vigilant and stuff but his emotions are really going through it so. The ransom note comes through the next day.

Gonna leave it on that because otherwise I will spiral into a full blown fic when I already have too many wips to finish

Donna's alias because it's literally just her name rn. It's giving Drake lmao. Then Catman because for some reason it sounds so silly to me as if he should be a villain for The Crimson Chin from The Fairly OddParents or something. It shouldn't sound silly considering there's Batman and Catwoman, but it does to me. Oh and then speaking of Donna, I'd rename Donald Troy. Probably to just David Troy or even Dylan Troy. Hmm... trying to decide if I like Virgil's name or not. I grew up with it as a kid, so I guess I'm used to it. It can stay. I would never change their names, but for my own sanity, I wish Gar and Garth had more variation to their names so I didn't have to constantly double-check to make sure I'm using the right one.

I'm sorry but I'm not really in the Ranfren fandom long enough to know who cousin Frank is. I try to find source but all I found was a link to a deactivated deviantart where the comic was supposed to be and few fanarts so instead I changed it to you being Randal's pet/babysitter.

Luther told you to bandage him up while he go set up a game for the family. "Heh heh~ I just want to play with Sebastian~" he laughs it off and wrap his arms around you while he rubs his face/cheek against yours. "Leave the poor boy alone, he's still new- Stop, you're still bleeding." You hiss at him as a warning.

"Awh~ But your tail is wagging! And that's rare!" He points out and you look down behind you, sure enough - it is wagging. You're embarrassed but you hide it and push Randal away from you. "I feel more like a babysitter than a pet," You retorted. "But you're still the best pet! You play with me, you can keep up with me, not so quiet like those two cats and you're not as fragile as Sebastian!" He has a big cat-like smile on his face as he thinks about all those times you play games with him without you getting tired. Although he lets out small laughs when he remembers times you accidentally ran into furnitures because of your poor vision as a ferret.

You sighed in defeat and continue on with trying to still stop the bleeding nose that you both momentarily ignored. After you successfully did, you put on Mickey mouse ears headband on him for some reason. "There. Now come on," you grab his hand, "we have a family game to get to." You ran with him, holding hands to get to the others. Randal laughs joyfully seeing you being so hyper for no reason.

"Randal this is stupid." You say while the boy in statement digs out a grave of some kid named 'Winston Hansen'. "Your brother is going to catch us." You told him the obvious. "It's fine~ I just want to see~" he keeps digging with a smile. Not even over 2 minutes, Luther caught him with Nyen as the catman restrain him and cover his mouth. You hiss aggressively at the catman and your tail poof-out at him. Unfortunately, you are around the same age as Randal so you aren't really intimidating him but you tried.

Luckily Luther told Nyen to let Randal go but that didn't stop you from still trying to intimidate him, glaring deathly as you can at him and he glares back twice as harsh but neither of you are going to do anything with the king around.

Anyways, you all get in the car and you started to wipe away the 'dirt' while moving your legs back and forth(also not trying to hit the front seat) but it seems that it's affecting and fusing into him, the filth spreading, making him rot by the hands. You almost hit him when you hear what he wants to order at a drive thru. Fortunately, he got the kids' meal instead but he's unable to pick up the fries so you had to hand feed him.

Once you arrived home, you both went towards Randal's room with Luther. You lay down on your own bed that was beside Randal's coffin. You didn't bother to listen to the brothers' conversation and instead started to doze off, you lean your head a little bit against his coffin before you went dead asleep. You may not see it after but Randal also leans against the in/other side of his coffin where your head was against.

Scooby Doo x KISS band crossover movie: what each band member thinks of the mystery gang

Just a silly little thing I churned out at 1am lol, also the KISS characters are semi-immortal aliens to me and at least a thousand years old (("Ace and Peter" are just shorthand here for the former Spaceman and Catman))

Star Child: Daphne is a gorgeous girl and what luck that he’s her favorite! ((I know they kissed, but I can see them becoming besties as her relationship with Fred solidifies and she matures.)) Fred is pretty cute too when he’s not trying to make Daphne jealous. Definitely had fun messing with him. He’s impressed with Velma for sure and thinks she’s the gang’s leader. And Shaggy and Scooby remind him a bit of Ace and Peter (affectionate).

Demon: Shaggy and Scooby reminded him a bit of Ace and Peter as well (derogatory), but they’re chill now. Fred is dumb but a good kid. ((*to Space and Cat* “these are my two sons” *to Shaggy, Scooby, and Fred* “these are my other two sons and the dog”)) He’s married and he’s seen his fair share of redheads so he doesn’t think much of Daphne besides that she could do better than Fred and go for Star if she wanted to. As for Velma? She’s the most competent one. She’d survive the winter. She could probably ditch the reliance on scientific explanations every once in a while, but overall, nothing bad to say.

Catman (Eric): Everyone except Velma is an unserious goofball, but he’s a goofball too so he doesn’t have much room to judge. ((I can see him being friends with Shaggy and Scooby.))

Spaceman (Tommy): Same as Catman, but he’d like to know how Scooby is able to talk. He said so himself, it’s wild that an Earthling dog can do that! And Velma is… really cool, actually. She’s a great mystery solver and good at her job, if a bit dubious of the supernatural — which is totally real! But he’s cool with that and he likes that she says what’s on her mind and isn’t afraid to be snarky towards the guys and he noticed her playing Demon's ax guitar and wonders where she learned how to play bass and he wishes he had the chance to ask before they parted ways and- ((*Star, Demon, and Cat stare at him* 🤨🤨🤨 “… what? 😶”)) I'm shipping Spaceman x Velma because I can and I will :)

So I copied this over from my Discord rants last night - a brief text-based analysis of Floyd Lawton's character depth.

Re. Possessing no outward feelings except sarcasm and general assholery, suppresses everything else, subconscious belief that we deserve to be punished, chronic intimacy issues probably stemming from how fucked up his family is, actively suicidal with a death wish, debatably has 0 redeeming qualities on the surface, generally homicidal [bitch me too to all of this!!!!]. Despite everything, Floyd cares. He wouldn't be around other people by choice if he didn't. Waller has canonically offered him the chance to walk several times, as he's served multiple sentences. He wouldn't have damn near agreed with Peter/Ragdoll saying the Secret Six were his family if he didn't. Wouldn't have manipulated a doctor at gunpoint into telling a young woman who he at that point barely knew that she didn't accidentally cause her father's end stage lung cancer re. Lori/Black Alice. Also yeah his flings with Jeannette, Michelle, etc. were a lot more than just sex if you read Deadshot: Bulletproof or Gail Simone's Secret Six series, there's actual romance and protective feelings there. Susan Lawton who knows, it's hard to say and I really think what they had completely fell apart after their son was murdered, + her character wasn't super developed. In any case it's the classic machismo thing of "showing human emotion makes you weak and a liability" coupled with what I'm damned sure is PTSD. The reaper follows Lawton like a shadow. re. The Get Out of Hell card, he specifically steals it because he doesn't want to watch the Six tear each other apart over it. Also re. Floyd cares, 1987 Suicide Squad: he went with Digger to Digger's mother's funeral as a plus one and stuck around without even being asked. Meanwhile the entire time he's claiming not to like Captain Boomerang.

 And eventually, Floyd breaks out of that hard shell a little. It takes fucking RAGDOLL calling him [and Catman] out over it, and it's literally the final issue of the 2008 Secret Six series, but he's genuinely concerned and pained when Catman gets shot. For reference. If the guy who replaced all his joints with cybernetics and banged his own sister calls you out and makes an actually good point while doing so, that is both concerning and something you should probably listen to. Earlier in the run he also cares enough about Thomas to ask him personally to chaperone a date with Jeannette because Floyd is legitimately scared she'll take advantage of him, also. Is that referring to physically? Sexually? Emotionally? Probably all three. But nothing happens. Like. Damn. There's not a lot of content that goes out of its way to specifically show that a lot of Floyd's generally abrasive personality is an act. AS IT STANDS given pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths Floyd Lawton, lately DC has made him far too sympathetic for a homicidal contract killer. There is a very fine line between "likeable asshole" and "this is watered down to the point where sometimes it's but the vapor of a character". We need a balance, DC. And I hope, one day, someone can write that again.

hiii so I have been thinking about this a lot, what would the reaction of M3 ( + whoever you want tbh, if you decide to add more ) be if they learn what MC had a pet on Earth with the exact same name as LIs ( or not only LIs ) and that pet also acts like them a lot? The pet was named before meeting LIs I mean, so its not named after them. so like how would MC introduce their pet to their LI? how would they live together?

what made me think about it is the fact that I got my cat before I knew about last legacy. cats name is Felix and after I thought about it he does act similar to the LL Felix (my love i miss him so much where is he). except all the reading and talking of course, my cat can't do that, unfortunately or not. "Felix, meet Felix. And Felix, meet Felix". that sounds silly but it is definitely what I would say.

also one of my online friends has a hamster named sage and they don't know about LL so that has been on my mind even more because. it is funny. sage the catman and sage the hamster (tiny).

sadly, no anisas were found by me...

I'd appreciate it if kept the cat as a pet for MC whos LI is Felix if you fid this request but its not necessary!

Felix Escellun

Since Felix has had Stella (and to a lesser extent, Sage), he's already used to dealing with cats and stray fur.

Maybe your cat can't read, but he can certainly lounge around on Felix's lap, tangled up in the blankets, snoozing as Felix reads his romance novels out loud. Sometimes you'll be in the other room and hear him taper off and kinda go 'oh... Ooooh....' and then you hear your cat start meowing and Felix going 'No I absolutely cannot read this out loud!! You shall simply have to experience it for yourself later. I assure you it shall be well worth the wait' and then your cat kinda gives this resigned purr and you're just dying

You can also find them sleeping on the couch together, human Felix laying on his stomach and snoring and cat Felix laying on human Felix's butt and snoring

Let's say you have.. a... rat!

Anisa watches Ratatouille and becomes convinced your rat can cook... tries to let Rat!Annie help her make food by picking spices. It doesn't go well. Please have a fire extinguisher on hand.

Absolutely loves building mazes for your rat. Doesn't give her too many treats but usually has an extra one or two in her pocket. Speaking of, loves carrying your rat in her pocket. Sometimes Anisa sets up an obstacle course for herself alongside the rat one and they race. Winner gets a kiss from you and also a snacc

You know how when you tickle rats they can actually laugh? Anisa is fascinated. Rat!Annie squeaks up a storm. And when you tickle Anisa her fur goes all poofy and she also starts squealing.

Sage Lesath

While having a hamster would be funny, I'm gonna say you have a dog. But like a pomeranian so it's this little white ball of fluff.

Both very cuddly,,, both very loud,,,,, both very easily distracted by birds,,,,

Your dog is nosing you for attention so you lean down and you're like 'Awww Sage!! Who's my good little boy?' and Sage just appears out of nowhere to bop his head against your arm because He Wants Headpats Too >:(

Actually that happens a lot. You're combing Cat!Sage's hair and your dog comes over and starts barking because He Needs To Be Groomed Right This Second ! ! ! The two are constantly vying for your attention. Will growl/snap at each other sometimes. You can keep them in control with a few stern words. Then they both do the sad eyes/whimper thing. Puppies. Dorks.

Go to the park,,, play fetch,,,, they both go running off after the frisbee,,,,,

Both insist on sleeping in your bed. Your dog will frequently try to crawl in between you two to get ultimate cuddles.

Sage would try dog food, probably. Just out of curiosity. He ends up liking it.
