So, I’ve been listening to an SCP podcast lately. I’m no expert on the SCP world or anything, buuuuut I had the idea that “what if Wayne Enterprises contained some of these top secret facilities?” I mean, a multi-billion dollar company could easily hide and fund such a thing. And Gotham being Gotham, it kinda makes sense? Gotham would be like a breeding ground for this kinda stuff lol.

Like could you imagine Arkham Asylum being a sorta sentient building sending out mindless orderlies/guards to kidnap people who are driven insane by the building? It lets people go to wreak havoc upon the city and ultimately bring more people in, ‘cause how else are the inmates always getting out??

Idk, I just think it’s a cool idea.

And, of course, being the Wayleska/Valeyne lover that I am, I’ve had to connect the two. Soooo, under the cut is a little concept fic I wrote just now about it.

"Oh, Bruce." That voice. A whisper in the noise. A bellow in the quiet. A melody in their dreams. A shriek in their nightmares. Like honey and silk. Like ice and chemicals. Familiar and strange.

"Brucey, darlin'." A deep, raspy mimic of the other. Louder, grander, with discord in the melody. Instead of ice and chemicals at its core, there was fire and electricity.

"Long time no see." Together, a harmony luring you into a trap. To your doom.

And the boy they worshipped and put up on a pedestal made of rotting flesh and bone, grown so much from the time they first met, stood frozen at the sounds of their voices. Eyes wide with images of ginger hair, freckled skin, and wide smiles. With memories of knives and blood, mazes and generators, shared hugs and kisses and tears. Conversations and promises made what seemed a lifetime ago echoed through his head. Until he crumpled under it all.

Ecco, fighting off her own memory-filled trance, fell to her knees in front of Bruce, pulling his quivering body into her arms. Huddled together, hiding their faces, clinging to one another, blocking out the world, she chanted the same old lie: "It'll be okay."

I may expand upon this, but there’s so many things already lol. The basic idea I have right now is just: Thomas and Martha’s deaths were SCP-related, and Bruce is devoted to containing and learning about every anomaly he comes across. I can’t really decide if the twins should be like humanoids from the very beginning, and now they’ve built this deep connection so Bruce can’t let go. Or if the twins died because of some entity that now taunts Bruce with the memory of them. Or maybe I’ll leave that all ambiguous, who knows? I don’t.

This is just a concept I wanted to share and can’t promise I’ll do more with. I would like to! But idk if it’ll ever happen. I’ll probably get lost in my research of the SCP world and never get around to writing anything. ‘Tis the way of life, I’m afraid.

Any Gotham AO3 fanfic lovers that can help me out?

After several (failed) attempts, I figured out the pw to this tumblr. Yay me! I had created a new one this week @jeremiahwasrobbed to ask this awesome community about a couple of my old AO3 fics. I stupidly deleted my AO3 account because of my job (also rowenaaine) rather than orphan my work and...well...I am missing two of my longest works:

“How’s It Gonna Be” (a Wayleska post-season Gotham finale fic - I was only able to recover ch 25 using the Wayback Machine but no earlier chapters) 

“Paying for It” (an Oswald x Jeremiah BDSM fic - I have drafts of the first 20 chapters but not the next 20 or so from the published version…) 

UPDATE - awesome members of the Gotham fandom sent them to me!

Is there any chance someone previously downloaded them for offline reading / inspiration / translation? I’ve scoured my cloud server, my hard drive and a few other places but damned if I can even find crumbs. I would love to continue both of those fics but there is no way I can recreate all those missing chapters.

I did manage to recover my best Wayleska fic, “Poison in the Blood” (was my most popular too) and will be republishing that one at some point. After re-reading it, it still makes me as emotional as it did in 2018.

First of all I would like to say that I love your fics, they are wonderfully well written and one can see the amount of creativity and love you put into both the writing and the source material (the wayleska and JeromeFive fics are everything to me ❤️)

You have a preference for Gotham (and I understand) so I would like to ask: what attracts you so much to this universe specifically? Do you like comics? Im not trying to be offensive, but I would love to know your thoughts!

First of all, anon, thank you so much for your kind words about my Gotham fic! And I also want to start by reassuring you that your question is not offensive in the least.

Gotham, at least in its early seasons, had what felt like a fresh take. I was deeply intrigued when I first started watching; there were a handful of performances that kept me riveted. I was watching because of Fish (I hate forever that they killed her off; this is why she's still alive in like 99% of my fic series), Oswald (I had never seen a take on Penguin that I liked before; it was refreshing to see a blatantly queer character), Edward (forensics-tech-era Ed was just...*chef kiss*), Tabitha (another WOC I am incensed they killed off; the way she stood up to her scumbag brother and got Silver to safety was amazing), Barbara (she's just so unbelievably shameless and shrewd; she and Tabitha together give me heart eyes), and of course Bruce and Jerome/later on Jeremiah (I had never seen a young Bruce so well acted before; as for the twins, well, anything Cameron Monaghan touches is electrifying).

Above all, though, I loved that nobody in the show, and I mean nobody, was what I'd call a truly good person. Everyone was flawed and showed their darkness time and time again, Bruce included. It felt like a universe where maybe there wouldn't be a Batman (even though I know that was their endgame; the point is that it gave off that vibe), and that was intriguing to me as a premise when it came to writing fic. You've probably noticed that Bruce does not become Batman in any of my Gotham stories.

I haven't read much of the comics, although I do like comics and graphic novels. My familiarity with the comics pretty much begins and ends with Batman: Europa, The Long Halloween, and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. What I love, though, I mean absolutely adore, is Batman: The Animated Series. That show was my introduction to Batman—to DC, full stop. The way Gotham was shot, dark but vibrant, reminded me of B:TAS.

I can't give you anything Jonathan centric (that isn't Tommy/Jonathan, one of my fave rarepairs) but Jerome features in lots of my AUs.

This one is one of my faves that's entirely self-indulgent and if it ever gets written it's probably gonna be the longest fic I ever published (Again: If it ever gets written):

I gotta apologize in advance, it's just a fun little AU I haven't put too much thoughts into in terms of plotting so this is gonna be A. Long, B. Messy and C. A little chaotic

- First off, you gotta understand that @nsfwitchy2 Me had some fun with a pretty nonsensical and definitely not canon-compliant AU where Jerome and Jeremiah have three Mums (Tabby, Lee and Barbara, who all date) and live with them and Barbara Lee as their little sister.

- Ecco also lives with them, she sees herself as both the twins' gf more than a genuine part of the family tho (for now)

- (Meanwhile at Wayne Manor Alfred and Jim date and are very tired parents of Bruce and his clone 514A, in this AU - and pretty much every AU - nicknamed Brook)

- (Selina kinda goes back and forth between living at Wayne Manor or at Lee's place)

- Also, everyone dates. The twins. The clones. Eccomiah, Jecco, Batcat, Valeyne, Wayleska, they're all fucking

- Which isn't THAT important for this particular AU but I figured I'd give a warning xD

- This is mostly my attempt to give Tabitha some more backstory? Just...how I personally see her character and how I could see her end up if things would've went differently after S2

- The google docs file is called 'How Tabitha started being a Mum while disregarding canon completely' lmao

- Like her current life involves having 4 kids (if you count Selina) and two wives and that's a hell of an AU and I just like to overthink things and play with the way things would have needed to have gone in canon to have her 'end up' like this

- Also I can see her struggling with having a family all if a sudden (that isn't a manipulative brother or a weird cult)

-Especially if that involves Motherhood

- So on one hand it's a 'S2 until now' fic, explaining what happened to her in my canon

- But also - mostly because I find that easier to organize in my brain - it's interwoven with a 5+1-esque fic of all her children calling her 'Mum' (and her getting emotional over that)

- So it switches back and forth between the past and the present but for rambling's sake, I'll start with the past

- She still leaves Theo behind and flees with Silver but she keeps Silver close instead of immediately sending her away

- And her and Silver get taken in by Fish after they leave Theo because they have nowhere to go and Fish loves taking care of strays

- (Fish, who probably didn't end up in Indian Hill but rather lives in hiding until she is ready to strike against Penguin)

- She refers to herself as Liza's Mother in canon, you can't tell me she wouldn't instantly adopt Tabby and call her 'Honey' and give her motherly advice while Tabby tries to be all bite but actually enjoys somebody taking care of her for once

- Selina🤝Tabby

'Trying so very hard all the time to not show how soft and insecure they are'

- Actually, I'd start diverting from Canon even sooner aksnsjd

- Well not full on changing canon, but I'd...pepper in some stuff

- Like some scenes of her back with Theo and the Maniax

- Mostly her talking to Theo about Jerome's planned murder, which, yeah, she knows it's been set in stone from the beginning but that doesn't mean that she isn't talking about alternatives where he doesn't get killed off

- And Theo's like "Don't tell me you're going soft. No one will miss him. He was just a boy. Not worthy enough to be remembered."

- And later on she betrays him and goes 'I remember him'

- Anyway, they stay with Fish for a while but Tabby doesn't wanna keep Silver in Gotham

- So she sends her back to the school she went to before coming to Gotham with Theo (but makes sure their weird cult can't get their hands on her there)

- And Silver wants her to come with but Tabby says she has some unfinished business

- Aka she just doesn't wanna leave Barbara (who is in a coma atm, if Memory serves right)

- And Tabby's reasoning is that it's not safe in Gotham but really, she thinks she can't be responsible for another person

- "She needs a mother. A Family. I can't give her that." - "You are her family."

- So Silver's out of the picture and Tabby hangs with Fish until Barbara wakes up and they get together again (and never ever seperate)

- Also there's no Butch/Tabby because that was unnecessary as fuck

- And I gotta be honest, I haven't thought more about canon because Butch/Tabby alone makes my head hurt already but somehow they start dating Lee

- Who brings Jerome into the relationship because I sure am fond of Lee being Jerome's Mother (like as in, I have several wips with that concept alone not counting this one)

- Jerome probably came back to life after S3 and Lee fought to have him not be treated like a violent criminal but rather a child who was taken advantage of and after his release from Arkham (where she visited him and made sure he got some proper treatment) it seemed natural to have him live with her

- (But also he's still a criminal aksnsjs, you can see how much I thought about this)

- (Sue me for sticking to the heartfelt scenes and avoiding the mess that is plotting)

- Tabby and Barbara already had Selina and through Jerome, Jeremiah and Ecco were added et voila! Their Family is complete

- (Why exactly Barbara Lee exists if Tabby and Barbara have been non-stop dating since S2 I can't tell you, I simply think she is neat and I like the idea of big brother Jerome)

- (This AU? Self-indulgent? Why would you ever think that?)

- In the present however she is dealing with what is mostly referred to as 'feelings'

- Mostly panic at realizing that the bunch of weird children she's been living with are seeing her as some kind of parental figure

- Because suddenly they all call her 'Mum'

- Unsurprisingly the first one to call her Mum is Jerome at breakfast

- She's reading the newspaper and there's an article about a hostage situation the twins planned and he goes 'Mum, are you done with that? Can we see?'

- And they snatch it from her and argue about how they didn't even make the front page while Tabby nearly chokes on her coffee

- And of course she breaks down talks to her wives about it later while they get ready for bed because no one ever called her 'Mum' before

- Barbara's braiding her hair, while Lee's off to the side, getting ready for bed and it's very domestic and I am very gay

- But neither see it as a big deal because both of them have been called Mum before (by Jerome at least. Like. Immediately upon meeting them)

- So she's trying to be nonchalant about it because it's only a big deal if she makes it one

- While also not being able to deny the warm feeling that spreads throughout her body when Jerome keeps calling her 'Mum'

- Miah and Selina on the other hand are both hesitant to call anyone Mum

- Miah cause of Pride, Selina cause of her Mummy Issues

- But they both do at some point

- I think I have more notes on this SOMEWHERE but I kinda wanna have Miah call her Mum while he's ill (because we all know he'd be super fussy and want attention 24/7)

- So she humours him and while he's close to falling asleep - and she's totally not carding her fingers through his hair because she isn't soft or anything - he mumbles: "Thank you Mum" and she melts

- Selina would be more angsty

- Like, maybe it's her birthday and she disappears for a while (as she tends to do) but Tabby (who's closest to her) knows how hard this day is for her (since again her Mum isn't there with here and looks for her and brings her back home but doesn't make a big fuss out of her birthday

- Just...lets her be, gives her space but also lets her curl up close to her and maybe Selina doesn't call her Mum on that exact day

- But it's the day she realizes she wouldn't mind calling Tabitha her Mother, so she hesitantly tries it out a while later (maybe days, maybe weeks, however long it takes for her to feel comfortable with it) and they share a smile

- Then there's Barbara Lee, but she barely counts because she's a toddler and calls everyone 'Mummy'

- Even her father ajsnsnsn

- The last one would be Ecco because I have a very soft spot for Tabby and Ecco being close

- Ecco's rather formal with them for the longest time (she calls Barbara, Lee and Tabby 'Ma'am' for the most part because she may like them, but she doesn't think they see her as family. She's just the token girlfriend).

- So there's a scene where they connect, possibly over Tabby's hand and Ecco's head since I hc that Ecco gets headaches and migraines a lot (considering that she still gets shot in the head by Miah, like I said, this AU isn't necessarily the most bullet proof in terms of linear timelines)

- But so is Gotham so-

- So there's possibly a scene where Ecco's headache is getting super bad and no one's around (especially not Miah to dote on her) and Tabby awkwardly tries to bond by telling her about her hand and how she can't feel much (is a little clumsy with it) and Ecco immediately imprints on her like a duckling

- Maybe it's even the first time anyone reached out to Ecco in a way that feels genuine, especially without the twins or any of her (various) other partners being present so now she's willing to die for Tabby

- Which ends in her also calling her 'Mum' (while she keeps calling Lee and Barbara 'Ma'am' and Lee's so mad ajsnsjdj she was trying so hard to bond with this kid but couldn't quite get it right and you're telling her her socially pretty clumsy - but still wonderful of course - wife managed with just one conversation?? Slander

- And of course because I can't stop myself, there would be even more tidbits here and there of Tabby overcoming her previous way of living (as in, thinking caring or showing emotions is weakness) by having her reminisce a LOT about Theo

- For example by having Jerome climb into bed with her while Barbara's sleeping and Tabby is waiting for Lee to come home

- Lee works as a doc in the narrows which may be a little illegal, but the people didn't just stop needing help after her Queen of the Narrows arc was over, so I vote she keeps at it (and is held in very high regard for it by pretty much everyone)

- Tabby always stays up until everyone is home because she likes knowing where everyone is and that they're safe while Jerome has frequent nightmares and wanders around the house, so this isn't a rare occurrence

- And sometimes, they talk Theo

- "You miss him?" - "Don't know."

- "I wish he was still alive so I could kill him." - "....Me too." - "Which one?" - "...Both."

- (ajajsbssj this is all just copy pasted and cleaned up a lil', leave me and my pretentious way of writing dialogue alone)

- Tabby also has a lot of interludes where she thinks about what growing up with Theo was like/her childhood in general

- How she always protected him from other children bullying him and how they swore to have each other's back but how in hindsight, she was the one doing all the dirty work for him, helping him fulfill his dream and enact his revenge

- Realizing that he probably never cared for her, not like she cared for him

- There's also allusions to them having sex because you cannot tell me they did NOT have sex

- And it ends with Tabby realizing that she is quite happy with how she ended up, even if it's neither how she thought she would ever live nor what her old self would've even wanted, possibly seeing too many attachments as 'weak' judging by the way she canonly used Butch for convenience sake at first

- And yeah, maybe now she can provide the family - the Mother - somebody else desperately needs

- So she brings Silver home

A. what’s your favourite fandom to write?

I only really write for one fandom at a time (I can't concentrate on any more than that, lol) so currently Gotham. Though considering how much I've written/how long I've written Gotham fic for it would probably be my #1 anyway. Not a lot holds my attention for so long these days.

E. who is your OTP?

This question is hard if only because it is pitting Valeyne against Wayleska. Valeyne has history and chemistry and my most watched episode of the show (hello the gentle art of making enemies, my love) while Wayleska has the love-at-first-sight angle and also the what-could-have-beens. I suppose if I absolutely have to choose one over the other I'd have to go with Valeyne, because it was the first step of baby batjokes taking over my brain.

With how many similarities there are between the Telltale'a Bruce/John and Gotham's Bruce/Jeremiah, I am desperate for a telltale wayleska au. Just a post season 5 au where Bruce doesn't leave and starts visiting (non crispy) Jeremiah at Arkham. The two of them eventually having to team up and Jeremiah skirting the line of villain/vigilante- because stabbing their mutual enemy is so much easier, but he's so close to having Bruce the way he wants him- and the whole fic is just a slowburn mutual pining angstfest with random bouts of humor thrown in.

1. What fandoms do you write for?

Literally anything that clicks with me, you never know. I jump from one fandom to another & carry those universes with me everywhere. I have a LOT of wip’s & finished fics, the urge no mention as many as I can remember is STRONG.

Uncharted 4 (SamNate), Borderlands (Rhack), Marvel (SteveBucky, TonyPeter, WandaPietro, ClintWanda), The umbrella academy (Klive, DiegoGrace), Kurositsuhi (SebaCiel), Harry Potter (HarrySirius), Ready or not (2019; GraceDaniel), Dishonored. Even some RPF once, like EvanStan & Larry (L&H from 1D). There are couples I don’t write for, but then suddenly — boom,— I’m interested. Easier to ask the name of the fandom you’re interested in. 

6. What is a fandom you will never write for?

Probably k-pop or some political things or... Something unusual for me. Otherwise? Never say never. I find myself in fandoms I never thought I’d end up. Again, if anything inspires me, I might try. Not saying i’ll FINISH, but I can still try.

12. Do you want to break your readers‘ heart or make them laugh?

I’d say I know how to work with drama & I love me a good drama. It’s very natural for me to either write drama or fluff/domestic bliss (i.e. characters comforting each other).. Lets see, I like brother/brother, sister/sister, brother/sister incest.

Villains obsessed/in love with a protagonist & there is any kind of relationship (disgust, mutual obsession, good sex; the protagonist actually falling for the villain). I am actually still pinning after my Wayleska AU where Bruce is in love with pre gas!Jeremiah, and then he goes with the flow aka falls for post gas!J as well. I’m not sure i’ll ever finish & post it, but ahh!! 

I adore Rhack & its alike tropes where two power partners take over [something; it’s the universe or Hyperion in Rhack’s case] & terrorise its citizens.

I like fix its where canon is so fucked up (like rape/non-con) and you take it and make them develop a (more or less) healthy relationship. Like Kilgrave/Jessica from the tv series.

Squirming blushing people (usually boys tbh) that slowly get tortured by their crush. They don’t know where to look, they want to disappear, but also want more and whimper under them. They are embarrassed for how they feel & react, and even more if their crush asks them to say all their feelings and desires out loud  (HarrySirius in some cases; a lot of Klive; SebaCiel in MANY cases, ahh!!).

Broken characters that get better with their partner (hiii to SteveBucky, also Erik x Christine from POTO, also Corvo/Outsider; Emily/Outsider from Dishonored).

So I wanted to finally start doing stuff with this account, and decided to start by posting a couple wallpapers I made! Of course, they had to be Wayleska themed because...yes.

At this point, I'd say I'm still new to the fandom, I've just consumed a bunch of content for it in a short time... But still not enough. And started creating my own content.... I have so many story ideas, who knows if or when you'll see them? (Kind of a slow writer, but I have this kinda domestic wayleska type fic brewing in my head that I'm kinda excited about...hopefully I can get to actually writing it soon rather than daydreaming about it.)

Anyway. Like, comment, or reblog if you use the wallpapers or just like them? Idk, something like that.

For all of those wayleska fans out there I have this idea for a fanfic. So I dreamed this idea after watching Justice league dark: apokolips war and the last 2 seasons of gotham. Ok imagine this its a AU of season 5 ep 7 Ace chemicals. This also has a femBruce Wayne. So everything is the same úntil the part in which they are having dinner with the doppelgangers Wayne, úntil Jeremiah says you'll see this is where the changes start. A black purple portal opens in front of them pulling both femBruce and Jeremiah through and they land in front of Raven and John Constantine in their base. (cue freaking out by the part of both) Raven, John and Superman explain the whole Darkseid invasión arc to them, which after seeing the state of the outside world both believe. They were brought because their future selves Batwomen and Joker have been brainwashed and are the most trusted generals in Darkseid army (just like in the movie but instead of just being Batman alone Darkseid uses both, since together they are an unstoppable force that has brought any resistance to its knees).

When femBruce ask if they were brought to stop(kill) their future selves Raven replies not exactly, they were summoned in case plan A doesn't work :which is using Damián Wayne in order to snap both Batwomen and Joker from the brainwashing. After this is said they meet Damien (this part of the movie stays the same, meeting Damien, the league of assasins, seeing a lazarus brought Nightwing). Damien tells femBruce and Jeremiah that he is their son, conceived during an incident with Poison Ivy(flower pollen that made them confess to each other and in the end made them have sex). They managed to convince Damián and they go to meet Lois Lane (everything up úntil this part stays the same as in cannon, the only part is that this Harley is gotham Echo and managed to almost faint when seeing both femBruce and Jeremiah). While Raven and Damián have their romántic confession in the infirmary both femBruce and Jeremiah have their own heart to heart in which they admit their feelings and Jeremiah manages to promise not to kill innocents but criminals are fair game. This femBruce manages to accept that he will kill (just like cannon Batman had to accept that Selina, Jason and Damián have killed).

Damián finds them while they are embracing and talks with them about his childhood (how even though they stayed enemies in públic the Joker was a pretty good Dad, always went to Birthdays, games, spelling bees, etc... and how he received both knowledge of a bat and a clown) that he was happy and loved his childhood and asked them that when they go back to get together and start being happy at this time of their lives and fuck off everybody else that does not like their happiness.

Everything else happen as in cannon apokolips war: they go and fight parademons, suicide squad dies, los lane dies(basically everyone that died is the same) Damián is unable to snap both Batwomen and Joker so epic battle ensues (Batwomen vs femBruce vs Joker vs Jeremiah vs Damián) in which they lose and are on their knees by parademons. Darkseid orders that they both have to torture Damián in front of their past selves, kill him and then kill their past selves. Both Joker and Batwomen can't do it, (they love Damián too much and this snaps them of their brainwashing) and attack Darkseid Instead. Same fight occurs as in cannon and Damián still dies to save both of his parents. (after this everything pretty much follow the movie, trigon released, Raven saves Damián, and Cyborg sacrifaces himself to kill Darkseid and the parademons)

Back on earth they are all in front of the destroyed Titans tower when Batwomen tells them that the earth only has at most 4 months before the planeta collapses. Constantine and Raven with the help of the Flash managed to create a Gate that will take both femBruce and Jeremiah back to the exact time they were taken and since both magic and the speedforce were used there wont be an alternate dimension happening. While they are preparing the Gate Batwomen and Joker have a talk with them about trusting each other and not letting secrets come between them. ( the talk can be either be done with all four of them or either Jeremiah and femBruce being taken by their future selves). After a teary goodbye with Damián they arrive back in the past.

They kiss and hug and vow to stop that a invasión at all cost.

So....... Yeah that is what I dreamed. I am not very good at writing, so if any fanfic writers want to use this idea and turn it into a fanfic be my guest. Just remember to tag me so I can read the fic.
