The scene in the kitchen shows how close they were?! People are serious with this take right now? Man, I must have missed that memo since I did not get in my brothers face when my father died. Also this argument might fly if Buck reacted the same way as Eddie but he doesn´t. It´s Eddie being out of pocket, again, and Buck just taking it again. Eddie started a grief competition in that kitchen for no reason and then nearly became physical. It´s fucked up. What is the frantic effort on here to either minimize this or worse make it into evidence for how close Buck and Eddie are. "Oh he just feels so comfortable almost punching me, look how good friends we are" is all kinds of weird.
THANK YOU!!!! Yes exactly my thoughts. I just, there was no way I was touching that hot mess with a ten foot pole. What's worse is that I used to follow that blog, pre-season 7, and had to unfollow them because they went off the deep end with their "bvddie canon trust!" posts after Tommy was reintroduced, and I just did not enjoy their vibes. I figured leaving it at that was enough, but evidently not.
But yeah, no. Physical violence is never actually acceptable, even - wait for it - between actual siblings. WOW what a SHOCKER, who would thunk it!!!
And you're right, if Buck had reacted the same way, we'd be looking at the scene in a different context, but what we GOT was Buck shrinking away from Eddie, staying small and quiet, and flinching when Eddie got in his face. With Eddie raising his hand like he was going to hit Buck before changing it to a pointing finger.
Not to mention, Eddie walked into that kitchen looking for a fight. And he twisted everything Buck said in order to get one. As per fucking usual, what Eddie Diaz wants, he gets, no matter who he hurts in the process. And as per fucking usual, the person getting hurt is his so-called "best friend and brother" Evan Buckley.

For terrible comic day I made something about me learning to drive, so I thought I'd do another to document my Worst Blunder Yet. Would not have been so bad had it not been for the Sir.

January 2025:
Donald Trump pardoned 1500 people who participated in the insurrection of January 6th, including those who violently assaulted and nearly killed police officers.
Donald Trump has declared that trans and non-binary people don’t exist.
Donald Trump is working towards firing everyone in the government who isn’t loyal to him.
Donald Trump has effectively fired everyone who he claims is an “illegal DEI hire” …whatever that means
Donald Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization
Congress are trying to pass the Laken Riley Act to, effectively, round up every immigrant in the country, including LEGAL immigrants
Donald Trump removed caps on prescription drug prices.
Donald Trump wants to withhold federal aid to help combat the LA wildfires and help the thousands of people who have been displaced and lost their homes.
The Department of Justice has put a hold on all civil rights cases.
Donald Trump has cut off aid to Ukraine.
Laken Riley Act has been passed by Congress and is awaiting being signed into law by the President. Here’s the breakdown of the votes: House Senate
Donald Trump purged a dozen inspectors general from the federal government and intends to replace them all with people loyal to him.
Pete Hegseth has been confirmed as Secretary of Defense. Here’s the breakdown of how the Senate voted. Note, it was a 50-50 tie that JD Vance had to break.

Ill never be able to talk abt the actual characters at this rate#Im going to need to make like a three hour common misconceptions debunking video at this rate#(lying but if I Do make a lore video eventually I will be putting a common misconceptions section at the end for my sanity)#again Im just hesitant to try making a lore video rn since there's kind of a plot going on thats not done yet in the recent dlcs#while technically the general timeline of gravitas itself is complete enough for a summary video especially in relation to in game stuff#this stuff relates more heavily to the rest of pre earth exploding societal stuff that I feel like is important to cover in a lore summary#if I was just talking the main story of oni I could summarize that pretty easy but if its going to be a comprehensive lore video I want it#to cover the actual lore and not just the general key notes of what matters to in game things#the real question is if I actually try to include every bit of mildly noteworthy information or not lol#Id love to ramble abt every named character and point out which dupes we have known donors for but most of them are quite disconnect from#everything else going on and even those who arent are kind of hard to bring up in relation to those events#aka the guys with their lil diaries and any artifact exclusive mentions#well ok this also includes like pei and mae and probably several other ppl Im forgetting#maybe I can give them a lightning round section where I go over duplicant donors that didnt get mentioned in story summary#but again I wanna wait until at least the next dlc before starting to draft this since again there's a plot going on rn#cause like if I just go for it now Ill be binding myself to a clunky update video where I go over the new stuff#and that will be fine by me once this current jackie family drama arc is over but for now I will twiddle my thumbs and wait
