Being autistic really is kind of like being a fairy. Your brain makes you operate differently, almost in parallel to neurotypicals, so it feels like you live in a different plane of existence (like the feywild). You sense things differently, being oversensitive to some things (personally, metals actually burns me sometimes) and undersensitive to others, you have intricate rituals, you have a view on things that can be described as ethereal, you get really obsessed with things others consider mundane, you speak in riddles, and people find you weird and quirky and can't deal with you properly, but others like you understand you perfectly because this is simply Our Normal.
Shout out to my fellow fairies

Now that I've finished reading book about autism, let me just tell you, it was VERY eye opening! LOTS and LOTS of things which match me!
Therefor I wrote everything down and now, I'm gonna do my best and translate the list here. It WILL be long so be prepared. There's few questions where I left my own answer. Those are marked with *
Disorder without impairment of intellectual or language functioning.
"This was it!" a decision of refusing to do something anymore
Inner knowing of being autistic but still not knowing / realizing it
Anxiety, endless hole in the stomach
Sentences / words get stuck to play in the head as a loop
Anxiety feels like an another living being who lives inside you
Always felt of being different from others
No any help from anti-depression medicines and countless of therapy sessions
Trying to fit in women's most common mental health issues: Is this guilt after all, shame, too strong desire to please, super conscientious all the way to exhaustion, reaching for perfection, having eating disorder while hating her body. Maybe just chronically depressed? I'm none of these.
I don't care what others think of me
I can manage but only about those things which I'm interested in
I ignore everything boring
My human dignity does not depend on my body
Is sleeping difficult? No since I fall asleep every evening like a sauna lantern (saunalyhty)
Fear of not being believed
I can behave. I warn I can fake and maintain a facade.
I want to be honest and open
When talking, words fall on the floor and are forgotten there. I feel powerless since it feels like none understands me.
I'm often angry when others don't get it what I mean
I'm in a contact with other people more than I could handle
I like to talk long about the same subject and I don't like it when the subject it changed quickly.
Difficulties with eye contact
Hard to work together since others don't think like I.
Others' slowness is infuriating.
I don't like repeating things. Saying it once should be enough
In social situations I act and fake. I fear people.
I can't handle of being interrupted. Example: If another person on the phone wants something else than what I have in mind in that moment.
I don't like changing plans
I get tired easily and need breaks often
Few powerful objects of interest. Many things don't interest at all
Oversensitive to sounds (always wearing headphones)
I'm smart on certain things but on others completely useless
Can't survive from simple calculations or can't follow simple instructions
Challenges in routines. Taking a shower and brushing teeth are very challenging. I can manage but it's very challenging / demanding.
Everything practical and physical demands a lot of efforts
(Small) Talking is difficult since I never know what to say
Autism is caused by biological reasons and is heavily inherited
Autism is not an illness / disease. You can't train yourself out of it and there's no medication to it.
Difficulties in communication and social interaction
Limited behavioral patterns and targets of interest which can, for example, lead to it that routines are important and changes difficult
Senses can be over- or undersensitive.
Autistic has to reason that what others can do naturally
Strong sense of honesty and justice
It's easier to focus on details than on a bigger picture
It can be hard to start a tasks or end them
Most autism tests are made for MEN only
Do I like to play games? Yes (PS4 etc)*
I pay attention on cars' register plates? Yes*
Numbers fascinate me: Yes and no. (I believe in angel numbers so in that sense yes, otherwise no)*
I don't enjoy reading belles-lettres: No, I don't.*
I enjoy gathering information about different subjects, like cars: Depends (I like plague / Black Death!)*
Do I like social happenings and meeting people: No
I have to rest and recharge long after being social
Autistic girls couldn't handle changes, didn't know how to shower, couldn't get their teeth brushed, were extremely sensitive to sounds, got temper tantrums at home, slept badly and they had no friends. They were lonely girls who didn't play with dolls but broke them or only brushed their hair.
To autistic child being held by force / against their will in order to calm them is very damaging. Touch feels uncomfortable.
Autistic understands everything literally
Parents never asked at home how school day was so I learned not to speak about myself
Using words wrong infuriates
Do you feel the need to share your experience with others or is it irrelevant? - It's not if nothing hasn't happened. I don't feel I have anything to tell.
Autistic is strict about details
Music, writing and drawing helps autistic person to release tension
Autism can also be caused by "mother's coldness" which has caused child to withdraw and shutdown.
Autistic girls are handy (drawing, making jewelry, hobby) or then they like animals (or both)
Focuses so hard on drawing (for example) that forgets to eat, go to bathroom etc.
Synesthesia (seeing colors or forms when listening music, getting a taste of something in mouth from words, music, people etc. Example: I once saw a man on TV and he tasted like beetroot!)
Doesn't feel like fitting in society's roles, like how you should look
No connection to body
Periods surprise every time
Doesn't realize being sick
Eating disorder is common on adult autistic people
Connection to anorexia
Overwhelmed by sounds and lights. Can hear fridge's humming or kids outside even that windows are closed. Chat happening at the back of the bus, neighbors. All sounds flood in brains.
Remembers a lot from what s/he has heard
It's important for autistic person to control the situation
Stimming: A way to express emotions. Can appear as sniffing something, stroking pleasantly feeling items, movement (exam: dance), singing, repeating words, biting / chewing, listening sounds, pulling lips etc.
Hands need to re-learn things constantly (like how to peel potato)
Hands can survive from small tasks, not from big ones
Hate towards it you should constantly be doing something
Hard to be around people who are constantly moving, their movement(s) gets on the nerves (aka pisses off)
Doesn't invite anyone to visit them since visits are exhausting
Addiction of routines. Same food every day, each summer the same vacation destination, doing things in specific time because then you can prepare yourself for them.
Easier to understand self-made instructions
Cleaning little by little (task per day) so that housework doesn't become overwhelming
Talking rudely to yourself, keeping yourself stupid
Hard to interact with others' conversation. Usual respond is weird look and: "What?"
Fight / disagreement with a parent. Doesn't get along with father or mother
Laughing at things which others don't get
Perfect rest from sounds and movements (exam: No TV on)
Desire to intervene in matters (exam: baking) if result is not perfect
Lack of sense of direction
Unable to try new route to a market (fear of getting lost)
Anxiety which comes from familiar thing having something new or strange in it, that I haven't "grow up" but stayed "as a child".
Doesn't understand why people scream in concerts, games etc.
Difficulties of getting a female friend (for female autistic persons)
Lack of empathy
Cognitive empathy: Doesn't understand how to react in certain situations
Can do emotional empathy
Let's others decide
Doesn't have strength to go through the same things over and over again with a friend
Easier to get along with boys
Ready to sacrifice a lot for a friend
Fictions affect deeply (exam: as a learning material)
Too critical
Constant collisions and misunderstandings with people

Interoception is the least known and least understood sensory system.
Interoception sense controls automatic motor movements and is the awareness and ability to detect and attend to the inner body sensations.
Automatic motor movements is our unconscious movements such as blinking, breathing, flinching, etc.
Inner body sensations are hunger, thirst, tiredness, pain, bladder, bowel, body temperature, illness, arousal, recogniseing emotions, and more.
The insula is located deep in the cerebral cortex and is in charge of recieving and decoding these sensations.
So basically it's how we feel and how we understand ourselves.
Oftentimes autistic individuals have struggles with interoception in that we are either hyper aware, hypo aware, or a mixture of both.
Other things such as hyperfixation, meltdown, shutdown, or burnout can affect a person's interoception.
An oversensitive aware person would feel these sensations more quickly and strongly than others.
Being oversensitive aware can cause problems for a person as the body is interpreting the signals for these things and the person may not be able to focus on other needs or meet these needs.
An oversensitive aware person may be told they are overreacting until it is a more serious issue. This could lead to a meltdown or shutdown.
An undersensitive aware person would not as quickly feel these sensations as others.
Being undersensitive aware can cause problems for a person as the body is not interpreting the signals for these things meaning it's not uncommon for someone to go hours without a drink, food, or using the toilet. This could cause the person to recognise suddenly and urgently a need.
An undersensitive aware person may be told they are overreacting and shamed for not doing these things sooner.
It’s simple! If a neurotypical person is hungry, they eat. When feeling full, they stop eating. When thirsty, they get a drink. Tired, go to sleep. Cold, put on a coat or use a blanket. Hot, remove layers or use a fan. Need to use the toilet, they go.
But for oversensitive aware Autistic individuals they may recognise these cues and have more intense feelings. They may feel hunger as painful, have a low tolerance for pain, feel tired or needing to use the toilet more frequently then others without a medical reason.
But for undersensitive aware autistic individuals may not recognise these cues. They may need to be reminded to eat, to use the bathroom, have a high pain tolerance, or when to get some rest.
So if your autistic individual if becoming dysregulated consider internal issues as a cause of dysregulation.
Ask how long has it been since they ate, had a drink, slept, used the toilet, are they dressed appropriately for the weather, etc.

no but so much of jerome’s behaviour can be explained by autistic hyposensitivity & sensory seeking. clearly arkham never bothered with the raads-r but i will diagnose the shit out of him
behold my jerome autism notes:
speaks with unusual intonation, speech stereotypy, ‘odd’ and ‘rehearsed’ physical mannerisms, no grasp of when you should or shouldn’t make a joke, no grasp of how much eye contact is too much, sensory seeking by eating non-food items and jumping/climbing/getting into violent situations, his body is undersensitive to pain to the point that he can tolerate being mutilated, no social boundaries, demand avoidance, his intense focus on fun and chaos could easily qualify as a restricted interest, he wears gloves all the time (sensory issue). i could go on

Alright I am suspecting I might be autistic so I'll use here to write down the reasons
(tell me if you know any of these are or are not autism traits)
Traits I know a lot of autistic people have:
• T-Rex arms (or as my dad calls them "mantis arms")
• difficulty making friends
• zoning out. a lot.
• not making eye contact when listening someone
• forgetting to actually listen when focusing on making eye contact
• auditory processing issues (I can hear it but cant understand)
• hyperfixations
• I've been to a gifted kid program and was told I was gifted when I was 6
• abnormal posture
• vocal and physical stims (stressed hand flapping, feet stomping, rocking, random animalistic noises etcetera)
Things I'm not sure are autism traits:
• early language development (I started talking in full sentences pretty early) [ this one might just be because I'm gifted ]
• I usually talk "silently and not saying the words fully" even tho I dont notice
I'm in huge doubt because my parents are educated people and they surely would have noticed if smth was wrong right? And they took me to a psychologist when I was young (the one that told them I was gifted) fairly often and she also didnt notice anything. But that might be because most research on autism was based on boys and it makes sence I was highly masking since I'm a girl and also gifted
• and when I dont talk like that I talk loudly and again, not understandable
• undersensitive to loud and "annoying" sounds
• oversensitive(?) to pain ( like my mom said I once wanted to get carried for 3 days because I skinned my knee) (or when after a dentist apointment my mom said she didnt scream/shout that much when she was giving birth)
it would really help if you told me more autism traits so I could see if I had them
Idk maybe I'm just being dramatic and these arent autism and I'm just weird like I font remember ever having a meltdown

The Doctor locked them both into something of an observation room, though it was empty.
Then? He began to ramble like a cartoon villain.
“So many humans have been massacred by the toys you call allies—you did see the Hour of Joy recording, right? What is it that drives you to continue working with the likes of 1170? In case it wasn’t clear, the toys here eat the dead.
A pity that I only have a limited time to test you before the Prototype gets to you… Let’s change the type of adversary you face, shall we? 1170, 1188, and 1222 all held basic human intelligence. The original smaller bodies are more animalistic in mind… And yet you came out on top in each instance…”
Doctor Sawyer let out a mocking chuckle at the fact the human teen managed to defy the odds time and time again, even in the recent case.
“Let’s test our respective pets. Oh, Yarnaby~ Seek and Destroy.”
Yarnaby looked almost one to one for his cardboard cutout—save for the fact his head split open to reveal two sets of teeth! He slammed himself into the observation window, then roared in annoyance and went into a hole.
Dart just stared incredulously at the sudden turn in events before looking at Huggy. The blue-furred monster narrowed his eyes, already knowing what the human teen was thinking. “Come on!” They argued. “He literally has wounds on the back of his legs. Obviously, the Doctor isn’t treating him too well.” A growl.
This discussion would be continued later.
.
.
.
Or not?
Yarnaby was sniffing? Rubbing? Searching around the turned over shelves in order to locate them both. The rainbow yarn toy’s “fur” looked matted to hell and back even in the low light. Huggy could only stare blankly at the vent nearby as he saw Dart getting several things out from their backpack for their crazy plan.
———————————
He had so many questions. One, how on Earth did a human get down here? Two, why was a human down here? Three, why was the human working alongside Huggy Wuggy?! Four, when did Huggy starting using a grabpack??? Five—what in the world was the human planning?
Doey could only watch from his vantage point in the ceiling as the human and Huggy were barely a few feet away from the Doctor’s “pet”. Said almost feral toy was getting far more frustrated the longer he went without finding a trace of anyone. The dough amalgam seriously debated on catching their attention, but the human acted before he could even blink.
They were climbing up the shelves with Huggy moving to stick his upper torso through a section. On some silent signal, the human jumped onto Yarnaby’s back and gagged his bisected full head mouth with an old shirt. The yarn monster thrashed like an upset cat yet didn’t have long to try to shake them off.
Huggy pulled the more feral toy into a full body hold in order to wear him out. Of all the crazy—Doey had his arms stretched out to intervene once this crazy plan ultimately failed. Minutes of thrashingcontinued as the human and Huggy managed to tire out Yarnaby for a bit.
…Then, the human started combing their fingers through the yarn monster’s fur? This caused them to nearly fall of his back as Yarnaby suddenly slumped a bit at the contact.
“Whoakay! Guess you really do go crazy if no one brushes your fur for a while.”
—ROB’d Anon.
I don’t imagine the Doctor employs his robotic bodies to physically interact with his “pets”, leaving Yarnaby undersensitized to non-hurting touches. Dart did this on a slight hunch.
Considering there are signs of Yarnaby being abused by the Doctor in-game, I don't think he ever thought about it. Dart is probably gonna give Doey a heart attack than an impromptu hug first. The poor doughman still can't believe a child even got this far into the factory.

Sensory Processing Disorder and Addiction: Understanding the Correlation and How to Address Both Conditions
An Exploration of Sensory Processing Disorder and Its Link to Addiction
Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is a neurological condition that affects millions of individuals around the world. One of the many implications of SPD is its connection to addiction; the relationship between them has been researched extensively. A recent study by Dr. Stuart of Banyan Treatment Center studied this relationship in greater detail, leading to some intriguing insights. SPD can be traced to an individual's sensory system. The sensory system is responsible for perceiving information from the external environment; the brain relies on it to process light, sound, and touch. In SPD, particular senses are oversensitive or undersensitive to the stimulus. As a result, individuals may avoid certain activities due to being overwhelmed by stimuli. Dr. Stuart's study aimed to understand how SPD can lead to addiction. He found that the oversensitivity of the sensory system can lead to individuals seeking out more intense experiences to manage their heightened senses. This can manifest as addiction to intoxication, drugs, and other activities. Below are the key takeaways from the study:
Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is a neurological condition that creates an oversensitivity to external stimuli.
SPD can lead individuals to seek out more intense experiences, such as substance use or risky activities.
Dr. Stuart of Banyan Treatment Center has conducted research into the relationship between SPD and addiction, leading to some intriguing insights.
This article sheds light on the complex relationship between SPD and addiction. It is important to remember that addiction is a complex disorder that has a variety of underlying causes. For those who are struggling with addiction, there is help available – Banyan Treatment Center provides comprehensive treatment services. I would like to hear your thoughts on Gooigi!
YEAAHHHHHHH here's a quick headcanon timeline to explain my interpretation of him!
when he's first created gooigi is basically just a gooey computer. he responds to inputs, follows instructions to the best of his ability, and can learn from experience over time, but he doesn't do much of anything on his own. his basic directives are just 'catch ghosts' and 'imitate luigi.' the latter is a leftover from when gadd was teaching him how to do the former, but it ends up having significant consequences later
once luigi's mansion 3 rolls around that secondary directive kicks back in and things start to get real funky. gooigi keeps trying to copy how luigi acts, but since he's seeing more than just disjointed video clips he's very confused by some of luigi's behaviour, like the loud noises he makes when something unexpected happens or the way he shakes for no visible reason even when there are no ghosts around or how sometimes he'll sit down and grab his hat and make unusual sounds and produce water with his face for a few minutes. over the course of their adventure together, gooigi's attempts to mimic luigi and understand the purpose of his confusing actions start to evolve into his own emotions and self-awareness
it takes a while for gadd to realise that gooigi is responding to stimuli emotionally, but he's very encouraging of it when he finds out, hoping that if he encourages gooigi's ability to think for himself then he'll be able to upgrade from ghost catching tool to fully-fledged research assistant. a little experimentation and many picture books about feelings later, gooigi is feeling and expressing genuine emotions and has expanded his thought process beyond ghostbusting. by this point gooigi is pretty unambiguously sentient, although due to his lack of experience in everything that isn't ghost research he's functionally a perpetually confused toddler
i was going back and forth on whether or not gooigi is self-aware for a while, but i've pretty firmly settled on this interpretation now! i love the idea of him just being a gooey baby it's super cute. with that said i have SO many thoughts on how he'd develop as an individual guy beyond that so here are some of those
with his directive to imitate luigi downgraded to a suggestion, gooigi actually ends up pretty different from luigi once his personality solidifies! they have some traits in common, like their bravery and kindheartedness, but gooigi is a little more outgoing and a lot more curious. he's still got that computery logic running underneath all the quirky personality, and he's extremely driven to understand how things work and why they happen. naturally, this makes him a pretty good scientist, and he really loves working alongside gadd and doing experiments
he's happy looking like luigi, but over time he starts to experiment a little with his appearance - an accessory here, an ill-fated attempt to tie his hair up there. clothes restrict his movement too much to be practical, but he loves to accessorise with smaller things like scarves and hats and bracelets! i also like the idea of him and gadd modifying his bioelectrical signal at some point to give him a somewhat more distinct look, get a nice new outfit and a cute haircut on this boy
he picks up the human need for stimulation and attention and affection really quickly. this combined with his childlike emotional mentality and physical undersensitivity results in him being SUPER clingy, and it takes a while for him to fully grasp the concept of boundaries. eventually he figures out when it is or isn't polite to try to initiate a cuddle, but he'll never ever turn down a hug
gooigi absolutely ADORES luigi, and although he's not trying to be a carbon copy anymore he still looks up to him and particularly craves his affection and validation. luigi is understandably surprised to learn that his goo clone has achieved self awareness and entered baby mode, but he warms up to gooigi fast and is seeing him as family in no time. sometimes he'll take care of his little goopy bro for a few days so he can experience the world and people outside the lab, and gooigi loves spending time with his brother more than almost anything
while he eventually learns to manage it better, he's very easily overwhelmed, especially by unfamiliar situations or intense emotions. if he's badly overloaded, he tends to outwardly shut down into the near-catatonic unresponsive state he started out in until he's had enough time to calm down and catch his thoughts up with reality again
he's still only minimally expressive, he physically can't move his face a whole lot, but gooigi is rarely if ever dishonest about his feelings. he compensates for his limited ability to emote with very deliberate and telegraphed body language, and regardless of whether anyone is listening he tends to repeat how he's feeling to himself - you'll hear a constant loop of 'happy happy happy happy' if something's put him in a good mood, or he'll repeat 'sad sad sad sad' over and over in place of crying
like in canon, he has poor fine motor skills and not much physical strength due to being literal slime, making basic tasks like opening doors or picking things up disproportionately difficult. he has some ways to counteract these problems; he often uses the poltergust to pick up things too heavy for him to hold, and both gadd and luigi have taken steps to make sure he can move around his usual living spaces without constant assistance [gadd by installing some fancy science doors that activate with a motion sensor or a handprint, luigi by just making sure to leave all the inside doors open when gooigi is visiting]. he still needs to ask for help or accept that he can't do certain things a lot, to varying degrees of either acceptance or frustration
although he understands spoken language perfectly fine, actually talking is a massive challenge for gooigi. his lack of a proper voice box means he can't swap between sounds fast enough to string together syllables the way speech usually works, so his vocabulary is very limited and hard for him to add to. if he has to verbally communicate, he can somewhat get around this by stripping the sentence in his head down to just the key words he can pronounce and using body language and context clues to help, but he usually prefers to write down what he wants to say. gadd taught him how pretty early on, and he finds it less frustrating than trying to play charades every time he has something to talk about. he eventually makes a point of always having a notepad and pen on him so that he can communicate reliably
when he was first learning to read and write he exchanged a lot of letters with luigi to practice! they still write to each other frequently, it's good for gooigi to have some regular contact with the outside world and they both really love hearing from each other
if you'll excuse a messy microsoft paint scribble, here's how i tend to draw 'older' gooigi!
this is still barely scratching the surface of my gooigi headcanons, but this post is way too long already lmao so i think this is a good starter pack of thoughts! i genuinely love this funky little scoop of goop so much he is my best friend and i want everything good in the world to happen to him
#i'm tagging this properly because i think everyone should hear my gooigi thoughts. welcome to my twisted cycle path mind etc etc etc#just fucking whatever#luigi's mansion#gooigi#anon#this seriously is barely a dent in my gooigi headcanons i tried to stop at a reasonable place but there's so much i didn't even touch#like him meeting mario and peasley or the properties of goo and how they affect gooigi once he's more conscious of them#or how i've sorta-deliberately kinda-accidentally ended up pretty blatantly writing him as neurodivergent/disabled#but god this post is horrifically massive so i will save that for another day hfjngbkj#long post#i love divergent character evolution and if i cannot find it i will create it

About Klemper☃️

Backstory:
https://dnpanimationstudioclone.tumblr.com/post/688965681439457280/klemper-backstory
There's been a lot of criticism of Klemper's portrayal. Many finding it making fun of disabled or the "weird" kids.
I want to keep his motive, wanting to make friends and expand on that. His whole life, he was ostracized for not fitting in due to his disability, and even now as a ghost is lonely. Many of the ghosts avoid him due to his ice powers and since most are from older times, don't understand how to really talk to him.
Klemper's a pretty cool guy, literally. He's very sweet and would love nothing more than someone to just chill and play with him in the snow. With that said due to his undersensitivity to snow and strong powers, most steer away from him, leaving him usually alone and get lost in his own Winter Wonderland. Because he didn't know for a while he was dead and how strong his powers can be, if not careful can easily cause an ice age.
When he meets Danny and gets better support, gets to know the other ghosts better and learns how to control his ice powers better, he's always happy to join in on stuff and see where his afterlife will take him, as long as he gets to do it with friends.
Personality
Sweet, compassionate, warm hearted, cheerful, playful, affectionate, socially akward, honest, starry eyed, loyal, trusting, perhaps way too trusting, timid, insecure, emotional, sensitive and tends to get lost in hid own world.

Is Neurodivergent. Autism♾️
Abilities- Cyrokinesis, can glide place to place, friendly, make and animate snow to his will, can produce a lot of snow and ice and shape it, especially in very low tempature conditions, undersensitivity to cold(can be an advantage and problem), can remove his limbs and body parts, welcoming personality, compassionate, great snow man maker and greater hugger.
Weaknesses- Has trouble controlling powers when emotionally distressed, panicking, tends to get lost in his own world, overly trusting, not good in hand to hand combat, not a good liar, can lose his parts unwillingly, doesn't do well under pressure, has trouble with social cues, reading people and communication, sensitive to things such as noises, brightness, etc, hypersensitivity to heat, will melt and lose his powers.

Dislikes- Heat, Ember's fire, yellow snow, loud noises, having to go to sleep, unspecific instructions, looking too deep into tie-dye, road salt, being in crowds, people ruining his snowmen, thinking about his past, people judging him and being mean about him being disabled, seeing his friends hurt and being alone.
His hat was a gift from his grandfolks.
Fav holiday- Christmas🎄
Fav movie-Frosty The Snowman☃️
Only recently found out he was dead.
Doesn't sleep a lot. Has trouble due to his autism.
Like Sid doesn't like to talk about his past too much, especially about his family.
Knew Spectra as kids.
His family was pretty well off💲
Makes snowman to keep him company. He's able to animate them and have them do what he wants but they don't have free will or any sentience. It's something he's sadly aware of hence why he's always looking for real friends.
What do u think? I'd love to know💖

Hmm, I always thought that it would be interesting to explore the realities of being a skeleton monster and how that relates to their senses. Like, are their senses a magic effect that can be turned off or on at will like one blinks one's eyes? Can one taste with one's mouth bones even without a tongue, and if so is a tongue-construct even needed? Hearing and gravity are related to the bones of the ear, so one would think that might be the most innate sense other than proprioception. ETC. And then combining that with sensory problems, especially those related to depression and autism, makes for some interesting potential storylines and brotherly bonding/caretaking. Does Sans have to remind Papyrus that he has to turn his senses on sometimes to check how he's feeling, when Papyrus is often too overwhelmed by textures and stuff to keep them on? Does this contribute to him not sleeping because he does not feel the ache of tiredness? Does he need encouragement to find sensory things that he Does enjoy to balance it out? Does Sans have trouble with undersensitivity and it takes a lot of energy to keep up with and pay attention but he's gotta be super careful with it because if he doesn't judge his movements and surroundings properly he could seriously injure himself just stubbing his toe and not notice that his 1HP is on the brink?
SEEKING PROMPTS
Alright, some of you may have noticed this, but it is November. I know, very unexpected, but it happens.
I had the thought all year that I was going to attempt NaNoWriMo this year, but 5 days in and not much more than 50 words written towards it... I'm not getting a novel out of this. 50k works this month is probably impossible. BUT I don't want to half-ass this entirely, you know?
My problem is a lack of ideas and inspiration. I just don't know What to write, and I'm having trouble prioritizing what vague ideas I do have. It's been a bad year for executive function for me.
So, I feel bad even asking when I'm historically pretty bad with this kinda thing, but anyone got Prompts for me? I can't promise I'll fulfill any of them, but maybe at least one will get something going?
UT or DR are fine, so are UT AUs (I like Underfell especially), but I don't know any DR AUs. I'm generally a gen fic writer and not really interested in writing ship fics normally, but if you have an idea you think might be in my wheelhouse, I'd consider it. It could be fun/funny to do more weird reader fics too. I'm probably going to stick to oneshots or something.
Also, if you have any fic recs feel free to send them too. I do better writing when I'm also doing a lot of reading, so I'm hoping to start reading more and rereading some old favorites.
(Also i wont post them to this blog but I'm totally up for Disco Elysium recs and prompts too)

Can I request the slasher (specifically brahms, Michael, and jason) with an autistic s/o who has trouble with sensory stuff [textures, foods, volume, etc.] I beg 🧍♂️🧍♂️🧍♂️
Ah shit I didn’t see this until now! I’m so so sorry also sorry it’s really short I have no knowledge of this topic but I tried!
I don’t know much about autism, so a lot of research went into this!! I hope I didn’t get things wrong!! Have an amazing day/night!
Slashers | Michael | Jason | Brahms
Comfort for Autism
TW: None if this is stuff I know 100%, I did research but none of this is fully known! I might accidentally offend someone, if I do I’m so sorry!
Continue under the cut!
Michael Myers!
He doesn’t care really, nothing about you changes how he feels about you in the slightest.
He will tread carefully though, he doesn’t wanna upset you in any way, it’s not enjoyable for him to be the cause of something bad.
Oversensitive to a fabric in the house? It’s gone and/or replaced instantly.
Undersensitive to a fabric? It stays
Oversensitive to a food? That is now nonexistent in the house.
Undersensitive to a food? More flavor is added so you can enjoy it.
Oversensitive to a sound? It’s quieted down a lot, if its a squeaky thing he will grunt in warning of it being squeaky
Undersensitive to a sound? Nothing changes
He still is cautious and studies you constantly to see if there are other things you’re over/undersensitive to.
If there is something that cannot be prevented and your affected by it he will do what he can to help you
If you want cuddles he will let you lay on his chest with his arm draped over you for comfort.
If you wanna watch a movie he will let you get comfy and set up the movie and such.
Jason Voorhees!
He keeps quiet but makes some noise to let you know he’s there.
Covers your ears if the sound bothers you.
Pamela makes a plate of food for you without any ingredients you are sensitive to so you can still enjoy it with them.
Jason will hold you close to him if you have a really bad reaction to a sound.
Whatever comfort texture you may have he will cover you in it if you feel a fabric you don’t like.
If you are Undersensitive to something he won’t know if he should change it or leave it.
Baby boy wants to help but doesn’t know how to.
Brahms Heelshire!
Time to tease you.
He is a certified little shit and you cannot say I’m wrong.
He will run around to test how uncomfortable he can get you with the thought that you will come to him for comfort.
But after noticing HOW BAD it gets he will stop and apologize profusely.
No need to worry about bad spices, you are the one buying every ingredient anyways.
Bad texture? Here Brahms comes to smother you in his arms.
Hell, he will bathe himself if you say that his smell makes you uncomfortable.
His facial hair makes you uncomfortable?
He’s not doing anything to fix that, sorry.
You’re undersensitive to things? He will take advantage of that and see how much he can do until you start to get uncomfortable.

To elaborate:
that version of Bayonetta turns to face our version and is hit from behind by an attack that is strong enough to instantly kill her, despite the series establishing that Umbra Witches fucking dodge everything and don't need to look behind them.
So we're breaking one of the core rules of the series. Not by accident or just barely. Very visibly, very significantly, with no ambiguity whatsoever.
So that's the point.
There is a threat here against which being an Umbra Witch cannot save you. It couldn't save alternate-universe you.
And then again, in case you thought something was wrong with the first alternate-universe you.
The third time it's someone else, to give you a Hope Spot. The fourth time, it crushes the hope by forcing you to actively participate.
At this point, it's supposed to make you feel hopeless and helpless. (You, Brazen, may be undersensitive to this because you're depressed as shit and feel like that all the time anyway.) It's supposed to feel inevitable.
beats the Singularity form but actually loses because Singularity is too powerful, calls in all of the other Bayonettas to beat the next Singularity form but actually lose because Singularity is too powerful
Again, helplessness and inevitability, . Somewhere in here you're probably supposed to guess that Bayonetta's not getting out of this alive.
then gets assisted by the versions of herself from the two previous games
And here we see the second thing this game is trying to do: this is the last Bayonetta game and it's trying to draw on everything about the series people loved to give it a sendoff. Like Raising Steam and The Shepherd's Crown for Discworld.
At this point you know she's either dying or retiring by the end of the game, and I've never played a single minute of Bayonetta games but I can tell that she's not fucking gonna retire even if you give her the choice.
After Bayonetta dies, we go to a New York that's… restored? never attacked to begin with? was everything undone? there is no detail.
Now, this part may be overinterpretation, but I think this is probably symbolic of Bayonetta the series being over. This is a world that no longer has Bayonetta past or future.
Now, TBF there are some things that are probably just pure mistakes. The 'absolutely dogshit minigame' I'd have to hear more but probably the writing and gameplay for that got fucked up. The Luka and Viola story is probably one of the directors being self-indulgent and putting their mediocre fanfic into canon. But most of it was just poor execution of an idea you really really hate.
it's become clear that you people don't truly grasp how Godawful Bayonetta 3's story was

Would love your own thoughts on this. I've often seen it said that Will enjoys hurting Hannibal but I honestly don't really agree? The only time I can think of him hurting Hannibal with intent is his mic drop speech, and that was after Hannibal put a hit out on his family and had been passive agressive during their meetings (while Will was mostly tongue tied). Putting other motives aside (revenge, to save himself, to put a wall between them so he doesn't give in to his feelings for Hannibal)
(cont) I can't really think of any other time. I can't see Will abusing Hannibal and revelling in it, which I sometimes see in fics. I agree with Bedelia that he wants to save the wounded bird not harm it, and every situation where Hannibal is vulnerable Will saves him in the end, he even tells Margot he doesn't know if Hannibal deserved Matthew Brown and when Alana says that maybe he doesn't think Hannibal deserves torture Will can't answer, which is usually a sign of agreement. Wdyt?
I think Will enjoys being able to hurt Hannibal, which is not at all the same thing as actually doing it. He may also actually enjoy doing it, at some points, although taking the TWOTL mic drop as an example, I don’t think he really enjoys that. I think he feels it’s necessary and maybe gets some kind of vindictive satisfaction from it, but that’s where the emphasis is.
You’re completely right to point out that every time Hannibal canonically shows his belly to Will, Will backs off. That’s something I’ve referenced before in the times when Will could have (but didn’t) even really try to kill Hannibal.
And we see, finally and really very unequivocally in TWOTL, Will doesn’t want to lose Hannibal, even in a situation that’s engineered to appeal to both their senses of aesthetics. (He’s probably okay with them both going out at the same time, with a bang, or a fall into the sea.)
I get actively distressed by fics where Will abuses Hannibal, because to me that says more about the author’s interpretation of Will, himself, than it does anything else. And that interpretation doesn’t agree with my own. Will is capable of being incredibly petty and vindictive. But when Hannibal’s just resigned to taking it? Fuck, forget ethics, it’s no fun. There’s no game in hurting a Hannibal who’s just resigned to the fact that Will can hurt him with impunity forever.
Will is not a sadist. When he hurts Hannibal intentionally, it’s either directly vindictive or there are other motives in play.
Post-fall I can see Will hurting Hannibal on purpose when he’s feeling vulnerable and also doesn’t know what else to say, and ALSO detects Hannibal being a bit undersensitive about their history? That works, in my head. And I think if it’s obviously part of some kind of acceptance trajectory, it works.
But dear god, I’ve said it before and probably will again: I hate it when people write Will being abusive in ways the narrative never explores. Like YES!!! SURE! LET HIM BE AWFUL, TOO. (That’s not my preference, but I’m not mad at it.) But I need how Will acts to be consistent with his expectations and goals with his relationship with Hannibal, or else called out as explicitly self-destructive (which sometimes does happen).

Uh...I meant the first, so where the squad is autistic (like in the headcanons you wrote, I love those)
-Pal
Say less those are me in my element 😎😎 I added some dadzawa at the end cus im a sucker for Aizawa and his class of mostly autistic kids.
I generally only headcannon Kiri and Bakugou as having autism. But, for sake of the ask lets say they all fall somewhere on the spectrum. From experience people who are neurodivergent or are just generally mentally ill attract one another so its not that weird to imagine they all are on the spectrum and/or neurodivergent
Mina and Denki are both autistic and have ADHD
Bakugou is the most sensitive when it comes to sensory input. He’s hypersensitive to A LOT of things
Denki on the other hand is hyposensitive(undersensitive) to a lot of things
Nobody ever talks about ticing as an autistic so like lemme talk about everyone's individual tics. I also think that ticing became a lot more apparent after the summer training camp cus that was a traumatic experience for all of them
Denki - I feel like he does the double thumbs up as a tic from time to time. Also like I think he has lots of little tics like rubbing his hands together or going “hmmm” for no reason.
Sero - rubs or scratches his neck. Pats his chest with an open hand. Blinks really hard like he’ll do it over and over and it’ll make his vision cloudy sometimes.
Mina- Taps her fingers against things like she’s typing or playing piano. Makes little clicking noises. Rubs her noise.
Kirishima- I feel like he tenses up his arms a lot and that this has definitely lead to him accidently activating his quirk more than once. Clears his throat. jerks his head to his left. Echolalia
Bakugou- Echolalia (he does this like under his breath) and Coprolalia (specifically the word fuck but occasionally other swear words. Tenses up his hands. Scrunches up his nose.
(afgfgfhfshoisfhfhf Writing about tics made me tic)
Now lets talk about stimming an their favorite stim toys
Denki - Olfactory and auditory stimmer mostly but also a visual stimmer to a lesser extent. I feel like he really likes scented slime. Definetly has room sprays that make him feel calm and help him focus (Im thinking ozone and lavander?) his favorite smell his the earth when its raining, the sent is intoxicating to him and grounding
Definitely has his balcony door open when it rains even if it is cold
Mina - Auditory and tactile stimmer with a lesser love for olfactory stimming
I genuinely see her as someone who constantly has short acrylic nails (short so they don’t interfere with training and so her nails aren't like constantly ruined) so i feel like she stimms a lot with them. Like she’s constantly tapping her nails against things and softly runs them up and down her arms. Also fidgets with like plastic candy wrappers cus she likes the crinkle sound.
She definitely has one of THESE on her bag and she bought the whole squad ones. She also definitely has a scented microwaveable plush pink lama
The squad all definitely have a sensory stuffed animal whether it be one like Mina’s or a weighted one.
Sero - I feel like it depends on his mood but mainly auditory and visual. Like I just see him chilling in his room listening to music or podcast while he does stuff cus the extra bit of stimulation helps him focus
I feel like he likes those roleplay ASMRtist (like yurivoice , cardlinaudios, madame wigglesworth) he also likes just listening to people ramble?? its like being around people without draining his social battery
He has a whole folder on his phone dedicated to visual stimm videos.
Bakugou - I mentioned it here but he’s an auditory and tactile stimmer. He’s a chewer but he prefers smooth chewables without texture or like ones with minimal texture. He likes listening to the bakusquad talk specifically Sero and Kirishima.
Kirishima - Tactile stimmer mainly. He prefers the chewables with texture and he has a bunch of tangles that he always leaves around the dorm. He likes having his hands occupied
ALL OF THEM HAVE SOME LEVEL OF AUDITORY PROCESSING DISORDER THIS ISN’T UP FOR DEBATE
That being said movie nights always include the close captions being turned on
Movie night happens at least once a week as a way to decompress after a stressful week and they take turns picking a movie.
They all have comfort movies but those are saved for bad days
When one of them is having a bad day they either give them space or smoother them in love and affection. There is no in between.
Bad day movie nights include the persons favorite snacks, favorite movie and they get to be in the middle of the group cuddle pile.
They go shopping for groceries together and remind each other to grab what ever safe food they ran out of.
Bakugou almost always cooks (cus he finds it calming) and he always takes into consideration the groups food sensitivities (he’s bad at feelings but he’s a good friend)
Aizawa has done a curfew sweep and has found them all cuddled on the common room couch more times than he can count. He’s just happy that they all have each other to rely on.

Roman autism hcs?
I made a post about autistic Roman before but now I can’t find it, so:
- He’s able to understand when people use sarcasm (most of the time), but his tone is so strange that people can NEVER tell when he’s trying to be sarcastic. All his nicknames and little quips are supposed to be fun teasing, but then people insult him back and don’t say what he did wrong, so he starts lashing out at them back. It’s not a good mix
- He’s very undersensitive to sound and touch. This is why he talks so loudly and is able to pick up the spaghetti with his hands without wanting to Perish because of it
- However, he’s very sensitive to taste and touch that isn’t with his hands. It’s why he’s very picky with his clothes (that and he’s a fashion diva) and why he’s also really picky with his food. He eats nothing but pasta most of the time because of it
- He’s so sporadic with his movements and has such animated ways to speak because he learned his social cues from Disney and cartoons. Also, the dramatic movements and poses are a Good Stim
- Speaking of stimming, he vocal stims a lot and has a lot of big movement stims. He flaps his hands and rocks really violently when he’s super excited or stressed, and he’s ALWAYS singing without even realizing it
- Even though he talks and sings a lot, when emotions get too intense, he starts to stutter or goes nonverbal because he just can’t deal with it emotionally. It’s another reason why people think he’s being an ass, but he just can’t bring himself to talk and he barely knows how to really comfort anyway
- He has a very black and white way of thinking because Understanding Society is Hard, so his morals get confused pretty often. It’s why he loves Disney and cartoons aimed for younger kids so much. The characters are very obviously good or bad, or their redemption arcs and development are very easy to pick up on. He appreciates that
- He has so much hyper empathy. So much. He can’t watch comedy shows because of it, because he just cringes so hard he has to leave the room
- His SpIn is very obviously Disney, but he also loves Harry Potter, Steven Universe, Percy Jackson, a whole bunch of musicals, as well as some other kids cartoons
- He can recite all of the Disney princess movies word for word don’t test him
- I don’t know how to end this so just know he’s a good boy and I love him
