(Sorry for the delay y'all, i've been busy)

Hates science but is the top of his class out of pure spite

He hates when people ask to touch his dog, will get super annoyed if you ask

He's the paperboy because he didn't want to be forced into sports (he likes sports but doesn't like putting in the effort of doing them)

He doesn't like his name because he thinks is silly, like he'll say Billy then cringe

He's the friend who talks about their pet all the time but he isn't obnoxious about it, he just casually slips in something about his dog when talking

He's the sarcastic friend that everyone thinks is nice until they get to know him

He's the friend you go to when you need an opinion without sugarcoating it (I would say vance is to but he'd be meaner about it without realizing)

Bruce tried to recruit him for baseball since he's the paperboy and throws newspapers but Billy thought it was a stupid reason to join and said no

Has never actually read a newspaper, he's just the paperboy

Ever since he took the paperboy job he wakes up super early even if he stopped it's muscle memory at that point

Since he has to get up early, he makes food for himself the day before with the help of his parents so he isn't running on an empty stomach

He gets sick easy, which he finds to be an inconvenience because of his job

He's a cranky sick, he just lays in bed with a frown on his face wrapped in a blanket burrito

Spends like 30 minutes in the shower standing there doing nothing before he starts washing himself

He's the gum friend, trust him to have gum on his person but be warned he doesn't give any to anyone he doesn't know

Hates tootsie rolls, hates how they taste and the name

He gets annoyed when people do the opposite of what he says (Talking to you finney/j)

Climbed things when he was younger as a past time, 1 out of 4 times he fell off of whatever he climbed

He's the person who listens to music you wouldn't expect him to listen to

He's not a golden child but he isn't outright bad either

He's the type of person to look at you like 🤨 after you say something stupid, doesn't say anything just gives you a side eye

He will tease you if you're shorter than him (Griffin isn't safe)

He worships his dog, he would do anything for them and ain't nobody gonna say anything about it

This one person had a crush on him but didn't know his name so when the news came around back to him that they had a crush on the paperboy he got paranoid that it was someone he was giving papers too (He was embarrassed, nobody had a crush on him before)

He would not be able to handle horror houses or abandoned places, he would be shaking in his boots

He thinks his dog is all he needs, and maybe it's true

Okay first of all he’s not calling you babe. Ever.

He calls you dumbshit (affectionately), fuck face, dick weed

Can, will, and has gotten into fights over you

He checks you out all the time with absolutely zero shame.

Sneaks into your room all the time (everyone knows that he’s there they just don’t care)

You gets free slushies at the grab n go bc you are Vance’s babysitter

Vance won’t hug you in public

He won’t let you out of bed and tells you if you try to get up again he’ll kick your ass

He won’t ever be aggressive with you and will punch everything else but you

But you do play fight

He won’t let you win but he does think it’s kinda cute that you try

He only comes to class to see you

He always sits next to you in class and once punched a kid for stealing his seat

He gets jealous easily but he knows you won’t leave him

You steal his denim jacket and he punches your arm and takes it back. But he thought you looked good in it so gave it back, saying “Don’t let it go over your big fucking head”

Man is whipped.

He’s never going to admit it ofc but he follows you like a lost puppy

His mom absolutely LOVES you she loves how soft he is with you

He’s a bed hog but he won’t let you leave the bed so don’t try

You and his mom are the ONLY people allowed to touch his hair. Don’t ask to braid it because he’s going to say no but he may let you brush it

He has really warm hands so you’re always holding them at home when you’re cold

He hated it at first but now he’s the one who grabs you

Vance hates kids but he adores griffin (his little brother because I said so)

He and Griffin play fight all the time which you think is adorable

- One time he heard that you got into a fight so he immediately rushed to save you, but when he saw you pining down a grown ass eighteen years old boy, he felt really proud

- Eventually he'll try to explain to you that you don't have to fight your bullies, that you can tell him who's messing with you and he'll beat them right away

Finney Blake:

He is crying and shaking in his boots. Literally.

This man is crying cause he doesn’t want you to bled out by how bad you got hurt. He doesn’t like seeing you hurt cause it hurts him more than ever to see you in pain

A JOHN/JANE DOE? - THE GHOST BOYS + FINNEY BLAKE

It's pitch black. Everything is. It's cold. Wherever the hell they were, it was cold. They stood with their eyes closed at first, a couple voices speaking up. One stuck out in particular. It sounded like a young boy.. at least an eleven or twelve year old.. "They don't look like anyone we know.. Do they..?" He seemed to question, but.. who was he talking to? The new ghost didn't know. They felt warmth on their face. A warm liquid. Their eyes remained closed as they tried figuring out what was happening. They felt a poke to their side. Another person was here with them..? This time, the figure seemed a little bit further away. "No. We don't know them, Griffin." This voice was annoyed. Seemed it at least. 

"Be nice, Vance." A voice warned. This seemed to be a boy around the same age as this.. Vance boy.. Slowly, but surely, the new figure opened their eyes, looking between what seemed to be five or six boys.  A blonde, a light brunette, two dark brunettes, and what seemed to be two ravenette's. They stared between the six, confused on who they were, and what the hell had happened here. Taking a step back from the group, the new figure spoke with a confused tone of voice. "Who are you all." Well.. it didn't sound like a question at all. They looked around at each boy, taking in their features. As if they'd never seen either of them before. But they had. They just didn't know..

The first one was a boy with dirty blonde, or light brunette hair. He stood at 5'3. He appeared to be around thirteen. He was pretty short. The unnamed ghost tried to figure out who he was, but the boy spoke up himself. "Billy.. Showalter.. Or.. the town's paperboy." He introduced himself,  holding a hand out to the newcomer. Who only stared at him with a confused look.  

The next boy seemed to be blonde. An actual.. blonde.  The unnamed ghost stared at him. The boy had a denim jean vest, gambling pieces on the shoulders, a white shirt with blood splattered on it. His nose had blood trailing down, alongside with his lip. And head..  and neck... Now that the unnamed ghost looked between all the boys, they had begun to realize every single one of these boys look like they'd been murdered. Billy had spoken up, seeming as if the blonde didn't seem like he was going to. "That's Vance.. Pinball.. Vance Hopper.." 

Vance only seemed to stare at them with an annoyed look before two boys slightly nudged him away. The two boys were both brunettes with curly hair. One curlier than the other.  The unnamed ghost looked between them both, silent at first. The smaller young wore a grey  shirt, black shorts, what seemed to be long socks and white or grey shoes. His neck appeared to be slit. He had blood all down his shirt. He went to speak, looking at the unnamed figure. There was hesitation in his voice. "I'm.. Griffin. I was the first victim.." He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck and hissing out softly.

"Careful." The other brunette had said softly. He was wearing a blue and white shirt, jeans and sneakers. He didn't look very bloody, but bruised to the max, Maybe this boy wasn't a ghost? They reached towards the brunette, their hand going through him. It only led the brunette to let a little laugh out. "We'll explain everything afterwards." He spoke, shaking his head before smiling towards the newcomer. "I'm Finney Blake." He introduced himself.

There was two more.  A boy in green, and a boy with a bandana. Both boys had blood on them. These must've been the latest two victims..? The boy with the bandana spoke first. "I'm Robin. And lastly, the one who told Vance to be nice, is Bruce." He introduced the two of them, his arms crossing as he looked around. "Now.. how do we explain... where you are.. without knowing who you are..?" He questioned, beginning to walk around the unnamed figure.

"I.. I do not.. know. How I can answer your question." The unnamed figure spoke, turning to look at Robin as he walked around them. Their white eyes went to every single boys eyes. Making quick eye contact before looking away. They took a couple steps back, at least until they stumbled over the mattress that seemed to be in this stupid, stupid basement. They stared at each boy, trying to figure something out in their head. Before finally, they spoke.

"Isn't there anyone to tell me who I am?"

Soft blue orbs stared back into your (e/c) eyes. He knelt down in front of you with bloody knuckles and sweat that seemed to glisten in the moonlight. You tried sitting up, but the moment you attempted to move, pain shot through your body which suggested for you to stay down. “don’t move idiot, obviously it’s going to hurt” Vance said while watching you lay back down with your head facing the sky. It hurt to even move your face from the amount of punches you had took but you were able to get out a pained ‘thank you’ while he scoffed. “take this” he took off his iconic jean vest that he wore everywhere and layed it over your beaten body. It didn't warm you up as much as you hoped it would, but the thought counted. “I need to go home” you sat up, still in pain but going slow not to cause too much struggle. “Can you help me get up?” Vance stared at you with an angry stare after your question “are you stupid? There's no way you can walk three blocks down in your condition.” You were a bit surprised by his sudden protectiveness. Vance and you havent spoke in months, you two were the same age and had been in the same class together for years. You knew how he looked in first grade with his two front teeth fallen out and you remembered buying slurpee’s with him in your freshman year when your date had suddenly abandoned you at the grab-n-go which left you sobbing next to the pinball machine. But despite your many encounters, the two of you weren't close, Vance was a rogue. He was always in some sort of trouble with the law and had a reputation that warned everyone in America to stay away from him while you were one of the town’s golden girls, a dream girl who excelled in cheer and held a high popularity status. The only thing that truly connected you two was the past summer. Bruce, Amy and your parents had driven out of town to stay at a family friend’s house for a few weeks while you stayed in town because you were working and weren't exactly itching to go. But when you stayed home, the house felt off. The living room that normally had the overlapping of Amy with her dolls and your fathers baseball games that always got him riled up and screaming, was now quiet. You couldn't even sleep in your room either, you were used to falling asleep to Bruce’s loud radio that blasted through the thin walls that separated your rooms, but now the dead silence only makes you stay up longer than sleep faster. It would take you hours to sleep which really made you regret not asking for at least one week off of work to go on the trip with the rest of your family. Being at home alone gave you a sense of newfound dread, which is how you found yourself on a park bench at 4 am eating a slim jim you had found hidden away in Bruce’s desk. You sat in silence while taking small bites of the meat stick before hearing fast footsteps. Your head moved to see who the stranger was, and that's when you saw Vance hopper. He had a bloody nose and seemed to be beaten up more than usual, especially considering he was normally the fighter and not the runner. He stopped for a second before huffing and turning his head to meet your eyes. “Oh, hey..” you said, feeling awkward that you were caught staring at him. “Shut up” “sorry” the two of you exchanged another glance before you went back to staring at the slim jim. “Hey dipshit, get up” he limped a bit towards you as you hurriedly got off the bench that he sat down on. “Are you alright?” he looked hurt, and normally vance hopper was not the one to show pain like this. “Dont ask stupid questions like that” he responded, you looked down to see a deep cut in his left arm. “Oh, my god” your words came out louder than you wanted but it was too late. “Didn't I tell you to shut up! Just get out of here before I do the same shit to you.” you flinched at his harsh words before stuttering to get your words out “house.. My house it's j xy ust down the street. I promise it's not too far of a walk, and i- and I can bandage you up. My family is gone so you won't have to worry about anyone else seeing you, please”

Griffin - Besides his hobby of picking up rocks or hanging in random places? He secretly enjoys scrapbooking. Nature scrapbooking to be exact. Never talks about it though because everyone knows him to be actively wandering around instead of sitting down and focusing all his time on something

Finney - He builds a lot of things besides rockets. Get him some Legos and he made a working vending machine. Only Robin really knows about this so technically it's both a secret and not

Bruce - Bruce writes poetry in his off time. He has a journal that comes with a tiny lock on it and the key is in the tongue of some sweaty shoes. The poetry is pretty good, but nobody has ever read it except for Vance.

Robin - Robin secretly knows how to play a little bit of viola. Not enough to be considered good, but enough that he could pop out a Mary had a Little Lamb without much trouble. He plays it at random to cheer up his mum by pretending he's in a mariachi band

Vance - He collects bottle caps and they all stay in a shoebox underneath his bed. Some of them are pretty enough to just be there, and the other half is eaten (Mostly the more common ones). He'll steal the caps from other kids or off the ground

Billy - Billy seems the type of kid to have a hobby of woodworking. Just whittling away at some chunk of wood or making birdhouses. He's made Harper's doghouse by scratch and is darn proud of that

Gwen - Kicking bully butts. I'm joking she sews for fun and also so she can mend whatever rips

A/n: here's part 2 of my tbp Headcanons

• going back to Robin liking Michael Jackson I feel like when he's doing chores he's having a whole concert in his living room, he's putting his SOUL into lip syncing/singing those lyrics. Sometimes he'll invite Finney over so they can dance around the living room to Mj lol

• Robin & Finney are childhood friends. How they met is that Robin saw finney alone on the school playground and decided to walk up to him and they stuck together since.

• Robin was the first to develop a crush on Finney while finney thought his attraction towards Robin was just extreme admiration. He talked to Gwen once about how much he admired Robins ability to not take shit from people and how much he likes hanging out with him, it finally clicked With Gwen and she explained to him that "Finney you might have a crush on him 😐" he stood there for a good 2 minute because realizeation hit him like a train of holy shit she's right

• Robin calls Finney Guey (someone said it meant dude but when I looked it up it meant smth else but progressed into being used as dude but that might be wrong so I apologize to my Spanish speaking readers in advance 💀) Finney understands little Spanish so he hopes whatever Robin's calling him isn't insulting

• Bruce is passive aggressive when insulting people while Vance is just upfront calling people cocksuckers he loves using that word

• speaking of Bruce being mean, ik alot of people characterized him as a Golden boy, the boy next door, sunshine but he can be mean as shit if he has to Don't tell me he can't be, y'all saw the way he looked when he thought finney was gonna win the game when he is he's sarcastic and somewhat of a smart ass. Vance finds it hilarious and encourages it when he gets that way

• Bruce is also extremely competitive even outside of Playing baseball. banned from playing board games with the gang cus it went to his head

• Vance is also banned from playing for the time being cus he almost broke his mother's vase out of anger which insued a scolding in front of the rest by his mom lol

• Vance is a great cook but he's like Gordon Ramsay whenever someone (besides his mom ofc) tries to help him

• Vances mom's Italian, his mom taught him how to cook when he was younger so that's why he's great in the kitchen lol

• Everyone survived/lived Au: this is a continuation of pt 1 of my Vance hcs with his mom when Vance got older (like older teens-young adult age) his mom got back in contact with him and decided to stay in his life for good

• Grab n Go used to have a vending machine but soon went out of order cus Vance kept punching it every time the food got stuck which was often, the thing was a piece of shit anyways as Vance would say

• English is Bruces second language and Japanese is his first, when he talks with his parents and sister he uses Japanese most of the time. obviously they speak English as well but when it's just the 4 of them they like to talk in their native language. Bruce sometimes likes to use it to confuse tf out of the rest of the group when talking with them. Robin thinks it's funny

• Robin will absolutely destroy the school lunch food after saying "it's not even that good" mf will eat that dry ass chicken sandwich like he's on death row and it's his last meal. Same for Vance tbh

• Robin favorite candy is Reese's absolutely devours them. Idk if Reese's pieces was a thing back in the 70s but if they were he fucks with them too. Finney also likes Reese's and M&Ms while Gwen prefers M&Ms more

• Robin's a single child but has a fuckload of cousins that visit him on holidays. He's secretly always wanted a little sibling (I mean he sees his baby cousins as his own siblings but they're not always around) so when finney introduces Robin to Gwen they immediately have a sibling relationship

• Robin's uncles has a son named Rick/Ricky. He's older than Robin (like around 17-19) Robin sees him as a older brother.

• since Rick is busy most of the time with work and school it's always a treat for Both him and Robin when he takes Robin (+ finney to ofc) to hangout
