As much as I love “Zoro fell first” hc’s I feel like “Sanji fell first Zoro fell harder” tickles me more because hear me out: Sanji’s emotional intelligence would allow him to spot Zoro’s crush on him a mile away but this man understands everyone’s emotions but his own! He would slowly develop feelings for Zoro under layers of denial, self hate, internalised homophobia and insecurity, and he’d (unconsciously) show these feelings for Zoro through how he and Zeff had been interacting, AKA very emotionally repressed “insults as affection” “begrudging acts of service” Asian immigrant dad type love. What’s worse is he’d already accepted the fact that him and Zoro would never be a thing, both on his end (MEN?? In love???) and regarding Zoro’s reciprocity (he’d never love ME). With Zoro being a blockhead he’d never pick up on Sanji’s thoughts =/= words =/= actions type love.

Zoro on the other hand is someone who once realises what he wants, would 100% pursue it hell be damned, so pining insecure Zoro doesn’t feel that probable. At the most he’d be scared that a rift between him and Sanji would harm the crew, but this would be quickly solved by him consulting Luffy and getting the green light. Anyways I think SOMETHING has to happen for Zoro to suddenly see Sanji in a different light, then his respect-bordering-on-crush feelings for Sanji just whack him in the head like a brick, and he never goes back. Something like Sanji sacrificing himself for Zoro or a similar traumatising incident that makes him go “shit, I gotta marry the cook.” And rest assured Zoro would confront Sanji about it because he doesn’t need anyone’s permission to like Sanji and he doesn’t care what Sanji thinks about it, if he’s grossed out by it then he can fight him like a man!!

Everyday Things Created by Black Inventors

The whiteness of the world that kept Black Indigenous People Genius hidden from the history books because anything Black Positive is insulting to whiteness because it destroys their negative stereotypes about Black Indigenous People globally being inferior to whiteness.

This continues to this very day. The shit people who call themselves white really believe they are an authority to dictate who and what Black Indigenous People can and can't do even though throughout history Black Indigenous People globally have always been great.

In African History Black Africans made the greatest discoveries in human history before anyone knew anything about Africa and yet Africa is viewed with the same negative and dehumanizing beliefs that Africa and African People are incapable of doing anything great without the influence of whiteness.

Africa is the first in almost everything that we as humans use today and Europeans are still trying to convince the world that someone else and not Black People did anything in Africa of notoriety.

What's even more disheartening is that many Africans say the same thing that the Europeans are trying to convince the rest of the world that Black Africans are nothing but slaves and are not capable of doing anything without someone else's authority over them.

I heard many Black Africans repeating this while I lived in Africa myself. It's one thing for people to lie to justify their stupid beliefs and it's something else for the victims of such lies to believe and repeat such lies as truth, this is a true indication that some Black People glorify whiteness more than they do their own Blackness.

so i just rewatched honey queen and in it, roman explains how linda is “the sweetest woman in hatchetfield” (the title that comes with winning the title of honey queen) because what she was willing to do in order to win (kill zoey, among other less than nice things) makes her taste the sweetest to nibbly.

now, in nerdy prudes must die, during the summoning, while blinky speaks to grace and tinky taunts pete, nibbly immediately looks to steph and says “stephanie, yum yum!” steph is nothing like linda of course, she’s not callous or selfish. but. she was, in the end, willing to kill pete to save the rest of the town. she would have done it with a heavy heart, but she would have done it nonetheless. so, is the reason nibbly expresses interest in steph above the others that she is capable of things the others aren’t? like linda, she’s willing to go to extreme lengths to achieve her goal (even though her goal is much more selfless than linda’s).

grace is certainly capable of doing crazy shit too but her deal is a whole separate issue of its own
