So we’ve all agreed that Gotham is magically fucked, right? Like that place has ancient curses upon ancient curses like it’s nobodies business. The city was built on an evil magic swamp, a lot of people pissed off the wrong witches and all around, that shot mixed and did not age well.

It’s also common knowledge that Batman hates magic. So he doesn’t deal with that stuff. Which is as shame considering it could help deal with so much.

But do you know who’s job it is to take care it? The Champion of Magic. And who is the Champion of Magic? Billy freakin Batson aka Captain Marvel.

Problem. Billy is a hero, and people in the caped community tend to be pretty protective of their city. Batman especially when it comes to other heroes in Gotham.

Problem 2. Batman, again, doesn’t give a shit about Magic. And it’s not like Billy can hold an intervention. Cause what’s he going to say “oh by the way, your city is the magical equivalent of multiple stains that has grown into toxic mold and is in dire need of the equivalent of multiple bleaching sessions”

So now Cap is stuck. He’s also scared of getting adopted as Billy the second he enters the city.

17yo Style in my AU will always be something very important to me.

Very very dumb Bleach AU idea where Ichigo(at full power basically soul king level) goes back in time to fix everything ends up way further back like young captain commander time, he's able to fully kill Yhwach and prevent him doing anything at all, no sleep no future quincy war, he also gets involved in making soul society...more so just vetoing anything like central 46 because nothing involving them ended well, and should make things easier and less likely for anyone to manipulate.

He travels around for a bit making sure everything settled and no other persons gonna try to take over the world before not really knowing what to do... when he next checks in on soul society gotei 13's all established and everything seems to be going well, but when he checks in on captain commander he's like 'Well we need someone in charge'

'Isn't that you old man?'

'I can't be fully in charge of all of soul society I run the gotei 13... no we need someone else to run soul society'

'...'

'...no'

Ichigo is now on the run from all the captains who are trying to get him to take over things because a) he's insanely powerful b) he's actually good and not corrupted and will actually care about people and not just the nobles c) He has common sense.

And this goes on for centuries Ichigo tying very hard not to have to rule soul society and convince people he isn't the soul king. Only her keeps ending up doing this because he keeps ending up adopting younger versions of captains and others. (It started with the captain commander sending little Jushiro, Kyoraku and a tiny feral Unohana to stop Ichigo he just went big brother mode... he is the one person Unohana will listen to and not try to murder...well when she tries to murder him it's more a game then an actually murder attempt)

Just Ichigo who ends up being big brother to like all of Seireitei, he doesn't age at all but even when the others get older them him still totally see him as their big brother. Him always having at least one or two following him around like ducklings.

Some hollows figuring out how to evolve to arrancar naturally... Ichigo was in Hucheo mundo for a while and his weird reality breaking powers might have affected things. Shinigami are totally chill with them because all of them have seen these types of hollow powers before most grew up seeing Ichigo use them casually. (Also Unohana wants to fight them)

Well until Grimmjow shows up and him and Ichigo are fight flirting just being very weird and all of seretiei are ready to give a shovel talk. Captain meetings are them plotting 'Big brother can do way better'. Captain commander is just watching all this amused.

(None of them realize Grimmjow thought process is

'Wait if I date Kurosaki I get to fight all of them... OI KUROSAKI WE'RE DATING NOW!'

It's been a complicated twenty-four hours of revisiting the manga and the anime to fully assess the allegations of Nanao's ancestry, but, yeah, I'm concluding that there's no blood between her and Shunsui.

I have, however, found the pages responsible (pages are left >>> right)..

There's such a swift transition between "my brother's wife", "cut ties with his widow", and "unborn daughter" that it seems like she got sent away from the house while still carrying Broyaku's child.

But anyone with basic Patrician Knowledge knows that's not true.

Outside of the dishonor that would be sending the mother of your deceased son's last gift to the world away from your home, you're also setting up a major inheritance dispute. If the unborn child turns out to be a son, he's going to have a claim to the house in the future. If the kid is a daughter as expected, then she can marry and have a son and claim the house for the grandkid. You're just going to set up scandals with nonsense like that.

Had the Ise House been a disgraced household like the Shibas, or some lower-class trash that would be better suited never affiliating with the Kyoraku house again, sure, maybe (but even then, it'd have to be REALLY bad). But they were a line of priests. They had a Holy Treasure so sacred that giving it away had Widowku executed on the spot.

But the pages are so close together that a swift read through the manga is going to make you think that Nanao rightfully belongs to the Kyoraku bloodline. Which she does not.

A couple more very silly thoughts on my Bleach AU of Ichigo time travels and ends up running soul society and being nearly everyone's big brother. (Link here)

Ichigo having no tolerance for any noble clan bullshit and any clan politics or drama ends with big brother Ichigo just scooping up clan heads and being like 'Play nice' or worse 'i'm not mad i'm disappointed' He will put clan heads in timeout.

Him putting effort to make sure all of Rukongai is actually nice and safe so people have a good afterlife. Making sure people aren't starving. Any gangs or people trying to cause trouble will come face to face with a pissed off Ichigo. (It never ends well for them)

Ichigo also stopping all the assassinations and political plots, so second division is now just stealth focused.

All of the captains are way more feral they were raised by Ichigo, they are all chaotic monster now. Also everyone much less trauma and tragic backstories Ichigo drop kicked all the tragedy out of there.

Also Ichigo having to hold back tiny feral Soi-Fon, Byakua, Gin and Rangiku who are trying to claw Grimmjow's eyes out for flirting with their big brother (Grimmjhow is just grinning madly as this is so fucking funny... also he likes these brats he's pretty sure at least of them tried to bite him they fight like hollows and he approves)

Ichigo is just being like 'Come on now you lot need to stop this your being dumb it's just Grimmjow you don't see anyone else trying to kill him for talking to me ri-' he's cut off my a wave of spiritual pressure and Grimmjow's ecstatic laugh and turns to see Unohana and him fighting and a Jushiro and Kyoraku looking ready to also jump in (Jushiro at least has the decency to look sheepish)

Grimmjow wants to get married for the sole reason he knows everyone would try to kill him, he heard someone mention big ceremony everyone invited it would be a bloodbath and he wants it so bad.

Everyone is convinced Ichigo is the soul king at this point and oh the palace must just be a decoy, of course he's the soul king what other explanation is for him having all the powers, he can do everything. He's tried explaining for hundreds of years no one believes him.

Captain meetings where there's a fight will normally end with at least one captain saying 'I'm telling Ichigo' and do become much more petty fights.
